I want to talk to her a little bit about this.
As much as she's the one that put this up on our Facebook page.
I've got to be honest when this thing ended, the only thing I could feel was sad.
Yeah.
The reason why I went and watched it was there was a show that talked about how he no longer.
I guess that was filmed in May and he supposedly had a happy ending with him and his son.
He was helping his son.
Correct.
Trying to be a wrestler.
Well, their relationship is back to not speaking.
What we have found out is since that has, since that was recorded that they are back
of strange yet again.
Cody and I talked about this on the phone in depth the other night.
And my first thing was if I am, if I am Scott Holland and Lord knows I can't walk
a mile in those shoes.
The last thing I'd want my kid to do is follow my footsteps in professional wrestling.
Because if we're no other reason, because the kids got athletic prowess.
He's a good size.
He looks good from the footage we saw him in.
He is predisposed.
Because Scott Holland says in that interview he says,
my parents were both alcoholics.
All of my grandparents were alcoholics.
So if that's gone through three generations of your family, you really are going to have to work hard.
Especially with the lifestyle that this industry will put you through.
But it's a lot different environment now.
So maybe he thinks that he can be different.
But can I give you two words?
Wrestling is his life.

The business is different than it was 20 years ago.

I mean, and again, still also it's very rare that multi-generational guys do well.

This guy here said wrestling for how long.
How long Scott Hall been in the business?
It's his life.
He doesn't see any other way.

I'm looking more at his kids as well.
They showed the footage of Scott Hall doing that independent wrestling promotion last year
where he got off the plane.
It was just completely bombed out of his mind.
Right.
He was really strong.
Oh, I was surprised.
They had that footage.
This was such a little rinky thing.

I think we'd be watching you sell phone footage.
Yeah, but it was Scott Hall.
I mean, like the promoter said, we were going to send him out there.
We were going to give the people their money no matter what.
I would never have sent him out.

And I'm glad you said that because I did want, I wanted to, I wanted your opinion on that.

Cody and Cody and I talked about it.
It's one of those situations that you see it from both sides.
And neither sides right and neither sides wrong.

There's a human side, and then there's the money side.
But that also led us into a discussion of over the edge 99 from Kansas City to the Owen incident,
which I have on video that taped live paper.
You, I haven't in its entirety.
And I actually popped this into a VCR side note.
If you own a high definition television, VCRs are a bad idea.
But, oh, it was like, what I went back to watching my regular HD programming.
Like, I had a headache.
It was that bad.
But I went back and Cody's like, you know, it popped that in and watched this again.
Because it got us to talking about that.
And I had that same ear refuel that I had watching this.
And I thought ESP ended a great job.
It didn't turn into, oh, wrestling blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It was very objective.
It was very respectful.
It was.
It didn't villainize him.
It didn't villainize anybody really.
Which, which really surprised me when it comes to shows like that,
Especially ESPN, given the history of people in this business and things that have happened.

I've been prepared for his death for a year and a half.

Well, and like they describe it.
It's like the movie the wrestler.
You just can't let it go.
But, and Cody actually said that to me.

I always look at McVage.
different level. Yeah, it's almost interchangeable now that you watch that story, but to
me the rest of whenever I watch that movie, all I can see was Jake Roberts. That's all I
could see. Take the snake. You talk about tragic story. I know he was wrestling at
the airport in LA about a year ago. Well, it was on purpose. At a hotel, no,
it was an airport. He was like, it's LA, it's doing some wheels off marketing or
signal by the food court. There's a ring set up. Try to get my dad to go, but he, he
wasn't up for it. Well, we're here in the SmackDown theme songs. Let's talk a
little bit of SmackDown here. This again was the second TV taping in Mexico City a
week ago. But you know what? I was surprised that they kept most of it away from
because they ruined the JR thing almost immediately after they taped it.
Right. But most, anything, any SmackDown news, really WWE didn't throw out there.
I did, I do my best to avoid spoilers anymore. Right. Although there was a huge one from
impact this week that I've got theories, but we'll talk about that on there.
Absolutely. I don't know what we'll be talking about Tuesday. The only match I really
want to talk about from SmackDown is the Sincara versus Sincara mask versus
mask match. I'm going to post this question to you. All right. Did you, did you
you're going to chance to watch it? Yes, I did. Okay. So it's important.
No, but hey, but you've watched it. Yeah, I watched it. I can't decide. Did this match
go too long because I, it was one of those bits where I was like, I'm kind of
entertained, but I think it was for the audience. It was for the audience. Yeah,
I was known. It didn't have any real relevant. I thought the finish was great.
Yeah. Where Sincara as a zoo, it's what we couldn't just, don't give me started on that.
Goes from a hurricane run into an airplane spin into an arm bar submission. Right.
Great move. Go back, check it out. Check it out on dot com. Right.
If, I'm sure dot com's got it up by now. Watch the finish of this match. So we get the
finish of this match. Sincara, a zoo, a wins. On mass, the other Sincara, it speaks
to be uncomfortable to say the name the way they say it. And I was like, okay, here comes
the big reveal. And it's still a dude. I don't recognize. Who'd you expected to be,
Chavo? I was hoping, you know, if you're good at doing angle like that, let it be
somebody. Right. Let me let somebody in Mexico. Dude from El Paso. Oh, I'm just like,
not everything they do makes sense. Oh, and that there's the ball that created dropped again.
It's right there. You see what you see it. You should be used to it. I think I'm
sitting in my expectations to hide more. Just go go with the flow. It's like a movie.
But if you expect too much, but it's just they have flashes of brilliance. They do.
There are flashes. This is the same creative team that put on money in the bank for God's
sake. The best paper view I've watched since the original ECW one night stand. Well, you
know, there's a flash. A flash of brilliance. At least we got one flash. It could be like
TNA for the first time. There's not even a bowl in the camera. Oh, though, again, the ending
of impact this week. You know, I didn't record that because I'm getting kind of tired
TNA. But you know what happened. Yeah. We'll go ahead and we'll go ahead and we'll
end it up winning the belt. Same storm. I'm convinced that they are. He and Tony
wrote the same person. No, he and Cody Hawkins. Oh, my co-host on this show is Calvoy
Jave Store. He is. Do you ever see the same room at the same time? It's true. We will
tease this. We'll talk more about this in Tuesday night. If you missed impact this week,
you have a new TNA heavyweight champion and his name is the Calvoy Jave Store. Not Robert
Rude. I have a theory on why this happened. And I'm going to save it for Tuesday night.
