I'm going to bring my mic down just a little bit because it looks like it's peaking on me. There we go. This is an audio format because we want you to cue up the plea while we talk about it.

Now, we can hear in our ears what's going on. We're doing things a little bit differently than we did last time. Welcome.

My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the Clubhouse podcast and it is time for the final major of the year. Joining me for this particular deconstruction to my left is my co-host and a man who feels a lot like the gimmick match we're about to do as I do, he is Alex.

Well, at the same time, I'm just watching how we have an actual opening as if it's a real football game, baseball game, or whatever. But the idea of having the national anthem for the United States, saying in Canada, kind of feels like a nice little FU that war game sometimes tends to be. Definitely a little different.

Oh, yeah 30-minute 30-minute pre-show with one to two matches WWE two hour pre-show no matches At that same time, it's that aspect that we've come to know because we used to always get what three to four on the kick off quote unquote. I've said that that would be fun But I honestly think the result will be the reverse I was saying that if they wanted to tell that story having punk pin brazen Reed to win war games Would be a great way to push Seth Rollins over the edge and back into heeled him and I want this I'm willing to so I Honestly, I'm having a hard time because Spoiler alert for predictions possibly I kind of think new bloodline wins tonight No, and we build into hold on a second and and we build into the fantasy booking I had of the rock being behind the Islander bloodline in ousting solo It's just if it happens the way I said before both of the things are on the table of Seth going crazy and then the other one being Rock leading the new bloodline and solo is a man on his own well and LA and we're also talking about this and the reason I believe in your fantasy booking Is because it doesn't hurt either bloodline because it's the two guys not even involved in that angle so It protects both sides of it LA. I Don't think because of wrestling logic right. I don't see the new bloodline winning tonight Because they have one basically each of the wars or should I say the battles of the war leading dating back to what did they win bad blood?

Yeah, they've been taking ails every week So I just feel like it's time for that closure of let's make it even with just this one victory even though the wars far from over Okay, as we get started with the women's survivor series war games match out Alex you had a stat for this or a fact So one of the women in this war games match has been in every iteration of war games within the WWE umbrella.

Oh, I don't think you're gonna have to guess you're gonna know But go ahead LA It's only one of them only one of them It's been in every war game in all of the women's WWE. Well, I guess all of the women's war games matches because that didn't happen before the company you are correct I'm gonna go with I'd never say I hate Montez Ford, but I can understand being very jealous of him. Yeah, so the thought process that I have here Is faces win Have their moment in the ring oh naya's gonna. Oh, okay. Oh, I am surprised Oh, that's and Ria's had 18 her team per her team has 18 total lives with nine but This would be the moment faces are down and like let's say Tiffany takes the pin Naya is blaming her for the loss You give live the opportunity to hit her with the briefcase and go You're welcome You think that Candice is gonna come to her age.

She also turns on naya turns that into a tag team naya now back on her own now The question I have for you is it more or less likely for that to happen Because we didn't see the briefcase because Tiffany didn't bring the briefcase like it has to be planted at the ring At the desk something of that aspect to do that But I think it lays into your fantasy booking of a cash in Better because it's already out of sight out of mind And that's and that's what I think that this would be if I were to book this I think it would be a prime opportunity no pun intended because the branding is back on the mat Oh on both yeah But I think it's a great opportunity that it is under the ring you start to bring the ring up So Tiffany can get out of there grab the briefcase from you've been bringing the cage. Uso and then he checked on J. Uso to make sure he wasn't Another one of the weakest kendo stick shots I've ever seen to set it up for dying to take it away So one of the things that has started becoming a thing is Jacob making sure people are okay Because a few weeks ago he did a dive into the time keepers area and accidentally kicked one of the Medical crew, okay, and it was Let's be kind and call it an older woman And they they for some reason the camera guy just focuses on Jacob. definitely feel like it delivered it was it was a fun show the one thing I worry about when we have shows of this length and it show you and you'll show like we talked about this earlier in the world title match yeah it can get a little weary burnout is definitely a factor but number one is still an hour shorter than AEW but number two it finished strong it finished with a lot of excitement I felt like the order of the booking was solid there there was a good ebb and flow to the action between the matches yeah we actually did have a title change tonight which this is now the second plea or something of its ilk in two weeks that we have seen a title change because we had one last week on full gear which is available on our main feed is it my favorite war games of all time probably not but it's by far not my least favorite war games may I ask it in a varied question where if you had to just without going to in depth of just the WWE era of war games would you say that this was top half or bottom half I would put this behind the one two years ago because the one two years ago with the same time bracing himself that moment was great but I think that I would put this the match itself on a par with that that's a good way to put it you know I love war games I'm uninhabited yeah bashedly a fan of war games I own the blue race set I have the t-shirts which I believe you bought how it was done this one feels like and dare I say it's a better match but there's less to it yeah there's less impact to it but I also think part of that is going to be the fact that now that triple H is in charge he understands you don't have to do everything in one day you can let this breathe well and I and I think to to your point on that the way H is booking things I'm gonna pull the audio noticed under H's era now we're getting into the post show here uh which I don't believe we will be doing as far as part of the deconstruction but one of the things that has happened is they have leaned into using the post show to tell certain aspects of a story whether it be a bothered competitor or one that's on their own high from a victory or different things like that that they use to move the story forward on social media or various other platforms that they like to do and I think H understands modern modernity more than the prior regime and how that can play because in this day and age you kind of have to have something new pretty much every day at that size so you have to have something it's why they have like the speed title even though nobody cares about it it's why you have NXT although most of the time we don't care about it except Stephanie McCurray how you doing um Angelia and well there's a long list yeah but yeah but at that same time they understand not everything has to be on the big show you can have it on youtube you can have it on your post show you can save it for raw you can do something on NXT you can do something on speed you can do things in various outlets and take your time with it and H understands that because one of the things that and I saw something on this was the big change that a lot of people in the industry are noticing is that apparently age multiple times during meetings has been I know where we want to go and we'll get there and I like I prefer long-term booking you know that's that's why we always talk about Mania being wrestling New Year's Eve because that's where you're wrapping up your storylines as we close this time go ahead and clarify there are times where they like the hot shot stuff that just happens right away on a lower scale justified and you don't and you don't want a long-term booking that takes so long that you lose interest or steam but don't just give up on the long-term booking because the people's average attention span is a nanosecond now so now as we used to be able to do on our free shows great the car well borrowing the old phrasing of it it's I feel like you have to gauge this one on war games level and I would say it's a solid B as a war games as an overall plea based on what we've been getting a lot of in various outlets I'd give it a B+. that way yeah I would give it a B-might as well I would just say that the and I don't mean to be that guy but I gotta be honest the women's start out match of the war games real quick question before you move off of that though I understand where you're coming from with that is your view tainted by the terrible terrible kendo shots and chair shots because there was a lot of good in that match so I just want to clarify if you were taken out of it by that those moments or if you're saying that as a whole I think that I think the set up to the women's match was made to be better than the men and I just think that the men delivered on top I think that the women felt short a lot of the spots of what they could do yeah yeah and then of course with the use of the foreign objects those absolutely missed and I think all of them were off time that's good wait for it for me I'm gonna go right about a B+.
