As far as Survivor Series matches go or as far as cards.

It's been pretty watered down.

You've got two belts that are not being defense tonight.
You're intercontinental belt because Cody's in the Survivor Series match.

This is the 25th Survivor Series.
What we're going to do now is we're going to take you back in time.
Give you some highlights of previous Survivor Series.
We're not going through all 25 of them.

Very first Survivor Series was held in 1987
in a rich field Ohio.
The Mecca, the sprawl.
The rich field Civic Center, which would also hold the second annual Survivor Series,
which back then was actually done on Thanksgiving night.
Why in the world?
That's why it was called the Thanksgiving tradition.
But why in the world did they are two years in a row?
Because Cleveland was covered.

So I mean, he's about as much of a part of Survivor Series as he is wrestling.

1993, the first time a non-WWE title would be defended.

2005 was the first time a team raw versus team SmackDown Survivor Series match happened.
