We are going to map out how we are going to do the show since this is the first time WWE has done capital punishment. At least the paper be. I don't know about the concept but we are actually going to run down.

Impact and SmackDown for you. And then we are going to run the car because there is not much we can say about the event itself. Besides it is going to be in Washington DC.

With some of the worst promotional videos of the history of this business. I just got a tweet from the president saying he will be from our president. I don't know about everything of this little president.

We are going to start tonight's pre-show. As we are now officially 54 minutes away. I can do math.

But we're going to talk about what happened Thursday night. And I got what we like to call some hot sports opinion about this show. As we talk about DNA impact, as we do cover it all, we are your one-stop shop for all things sports wrestling and pop culture.

Tonight of course we focus on wrestling because it is a paper unite. We are here in box and how in each and every month for the paper views. I'm going to save our wrestling matters meter for the end of this segment.

Because I did something a little different this week. Your normal meter's hooking was in one segment there were three brothers and no dudes. So we started to maybe lean off that a little bit.

I don't think you'll ever be completely lean off of it. But there's that. So apparently now, we're going to have an angle with the pope and demon.

We're now the pope's kind of wheezing in on his cloak. Family, did you watch the beginning of this? Yeah, I just, here's my thing.

The two kids. I'll go there. Those are his kids.

That lady is not his wife. You know, unless he married her, she was like, nah, that's kind of like Randy Orton. We've never seen his real real wide.

We have seen pictures but not television. There's all these playmates and all these models and all this paired. Weirdness don't hate to play a hockey game.

I mean, you've got one guy in, in, in, in, debond that. He's a tag team wrestler. So this is, so this is called up for brother.

And, um, I don't know if they're ever going to be a way to get the vehicle behind them to make them singles wrestlers. So they're just grassman straws and I just think as Vince has done before with people like the pope. Still not what to do with it.

But have you noticed that all of, are they even airing the backstage segments on their big screen? I mean, because if you've noticed, whatever we cut to backstage for a segment, there's never any crowd noise. It's all pre-taped, I think.

Well, if you always rotate, but don't even w w w when you cut to a backstage segment. But even when there's magic ears. There's no crowd noise.

Oh, they're all in that make sense. But they have these pump it in so you had something. But it was just like dead, deadpan silence on impact.

And I guess they've been doing it for a while. I guess I've just never noticed it. But.

Did you ever think he would see the day? For Kurt Angle would have worked a cheap pump. Yes.

But we're in that time right now. I never thought I would see that day where Angle would be. You let us say.

Reno, he's trying out for the Olympic wrestling scene for 2012. So he has to announce this on impact since we covered it three weeks ago on the show. And I was just like, Angle, you're kind of above this man.

I thought. But apparently he wants to work the cheap prop now. He is not going to make the the Olympic wrestling in 2000.

There's no way. There is no way. Can I try out then?

As they announced the bound for glory series. Did you watch this part? Yeah.

We're taking 12 guys. A bunch of guys I've seen before though. But see.

What is it a bunch of guys? Is any time you mix in? Was this the one that Jerry Lynn?

But. I'm not actually skipping ahead here a little bit. Why did that?

What? Although Jerry did use the phrase TNA. Which.

Are we bringing the company? Are we not bringing the company? But the bound for glory series.

The way this is work is we're taking 12 guys. And every time they're in a bound for glory series match. It could be a single snatch.

It could be a tag match. It could be any kind of stipulation. My original understanding that it was every match.

They're going to be in between now and October. It's not. It's only specifically done matches.

RBD. Samoa Joe. Scott Steiner.

Matt Morgan. James Storm. Robert Reed.

AJ Styles. The Pope and Devon. Gunner.

Crimson and Bubba Rice. Are your 12 guys. So Hogan's thing?

No, we're near this thing. This concerns me. But.

If you get a submission winning attempt points. Then fall you get seven points. A countout winning at five points.

A DQ winning at three points. A draw you get two points because TNA is the only organization that does that anymore. But if you lose by DQ you lose 10 points.

And this is basically the four guys with the most points will be at a four man elimination tournament to become the number one contender to wrestle for the title at that point. Okay. You know what?

We talk about creative not being creative. This is something different. And I'm on board with this.

The only there's only one guy with points right now because there was only one match. We'll talk about that here a little bit. You know what?

We always talk about showing me something with a creative direction. It may be a little lame. But it's something.

Yeah. They're trying to compete a little bit. I'll give him that.

I always like the king of the ring style tournament. And I could the point system I think is going to lose some. Yeah, I think it's going to lose some people.

I don't know that it will. I think it will hold up. Then we had the exhibition.

Did their deal. They're actually doing a tournament headed for destination X, which is their paper. Next month.

So is this all going to be tournament? Is that their new bit? You got to show the ratings everything.

Every belt in a tournament. Why not? But you said on this very show that you enjoyed the tournament.

Not these. Okay. So now we have to put from these.

A guy who I feel is a top tier heel in this business right now. He knows how to work this stick. He works a great match.

He has no problem putting people over. He formed the all-night express, which is when you're alive. He retags.

I like that. And our weight. I was okay with this.

And apparently we're going to have a lot of a lot more of this as we lead towards destination next which will also feature the one night return to the six-sided ring. Thoughts. To me the six-sided ring was always hokey.

Well, then you had the, you first of the bound for glory series matches. As RVD takes on someone with Joe. Uh-huh.

This was actually a good match. Yes. There were some high spots that impressed me here.

Of course, you know, RVD wins. So he gets 7 points for a penball win in this thing. And the sad part was this was also the longest match at the night.

Which we'll get to here in just a minute. Your main events, I guess you could call it that. As Anderson takes on Gunner.

And there's that gunner. But Anderson does the job too. So two weeks in a row.

Gunner became sting and Anderson. No more contender. No, no, no.

Angles the number one contender. Oh, I'm going to get slamming her. Oh, okay.

So he pins sting and these pins the champ. Yes. He's been the champ two weeks in a row technically.

Wow. Do you see something that I don't because I don't see this guy as a name of better? Or does he have Senator Rainer style pictures of Vichoff or something that I don't know about?

I taped it. I've devoured it. I didn't watch it on a movie called Damages Starring one stone cold Steve Austin Which was kind of strange for me and apparently Austin tweeted as that thing started You know I've never actually sat down and watched the snowman But I didn't want to say my wrestling matters meter for the end of this segment But we talk about TNA says that wrestling matters.

That's their bit and so what I'm doing as I'm watching the show I sit down and I'm going to count the number of matches and when they happened This week I went one step further. I gave you the duration of each match So you would know match one took place in the 15 minute mark not bad as Debon gets squashed by Hernandez in four minutes Match number two happens at the 48 minute mark in the ex-division three way which lasted five minutes Match three was a knockout tag titles match at 59 minutes which lasted five minutes Match four was RBD Joe at 125 which lasted 10 minutes. That's the longest match a guard 10 minutes Then you had match five which was Anderson Gunner at the 140 match which was nine minutes and then this angle Jared Street fight lasted four minutes in two hours of programming because wrestling matters 37 minutes of wrestling But that's every But I just we talked about this a couple of weeks ago.

Is it because Vince paces his shows better That you don't notice it as much. I've always said if you could give me five or you know and five I diva's half match Okay, so we're back on that so if we can get five I think if you do a two-hour show and you get five matches I think that but it seems like at least with raw and Smackdown You get a match for segment. Yes This isn't even a match for second This is this is one wrestling minute for every four minutes of show If wrestling matters, let's make wrestling matter.

Yeah. How did you call that dartboard booking? You're just not the you you don't spirit you got to get back into this thing and I just I just I saw that we're a Rematchy this and I went this sucked the first time I don't know it just I don't work there's anybody on that roster with The exception of the two guys for the title Tonight that really do anything But I'll tell you what was interesting to me Really watch the end of this match.

I think they botched the end of this match. They did They absolutely did that was a guy who wrote to another a dirt sheet said that They botched in on the match and just grabbed it up the wrap accounts one two his arm gets caught In Daniel Bryan's D and that's accounting to three the bell rings and everybody's going to speak in a wedge But it's free tape. Yeah, didn't fix that.

Yeah, what happened to Daniel Bryan? Again, no charisma he went charisma charisma is such a big part of this business Yeah, he went from doing from going to be the next crisp and why doing all this stuff in the US Tyler where he's got those kind of skills And that's what makes me sad is he even on me we are in a business now when the last time he was on a paper view card Even as one is Wasn't he on the rest of any card No because the US felt was not defended. Yeah, he was not yeah because he was champion When the last time he looked back when the last time was healed on a paper view card Bad show.

That's awesome. It was just definitely happy there. It's But it was definitely a botched ending.

You know what shocked me that's Michael Hayes and stepped in McMahon looking that over there And it's like I remember a time as it's easily as early or this year when that was the better show Well, but you've also got I think some of this sometimes you got depleted roster You've got to try to bend injuries. Rawls always the a show Always gonna have more talent have a sub Rodney's to be treated like the a chef too. Yeah, and I just I just think they're throwing stuff something out there to Try to keep that time slot one thing about Smackdown that kills it.

It's not live Until that show goes live. I think it's dead the wall and that's another thing I don't understand about Smackdown is You're on Friday night. Yeah, you're gonna be doing a Friday night house show Somewhere anyway Why not just do Smackdown in Rodcassins?

Exactly. Does it cost them too much to be alive? Could that be part of I mean, is it is it from a production standpoint?

It just cost too much to have two live shows a week? Yeah, I mean, that's the only I can figure Excuse me apparently my lunch is crack good day. That's the only thing I can figure that would hinder me But even then you're running a multi-billion dollar business.

It can't hurt you that much And we talk every week about TNA now starting to try to clamp down on people that are tweeting and recording live You're recording your show two weeks at a time. You know in pre-show misty said to me I've already got spoilers for next week's impact. I'm like yeah, they recorded it three days ago I don't know who I don't know who told them that was a smart business model Everyone of their talent that doesn't want to work more than once a week or once every two weeks And they don't well and they don't want to leave the state of Florida Yeah, all these old guys who live in the Tampa area.

You don't know anybody wants to travel. Yeah, they've they've done that on the road What once this year and I recorded two shows There a lot of Carolina But again, you look at their schedule the end of the next month Houston Austin, El Paso No Dallas to say in Gender Mahal wrestles again, but this time you wrestles cause love So at least we're trying to balance the scale, but again I've said this two weeks in a row. We're now gonna make a three shows in a row who do you feel this guy with?

The only guy you can feud him with is the guy you've got as his valet Why can't you put him in collie in a tag and just let them terrorize for a little bit? And maybe feud with French and King maybe I'd be okay with that Give us the book Just give us the book in a checkbook for a year Not trying to revolutionize the business up here anything That's the sad part and then of course actually to do the day I guess Vince is open and in the office. He has an office in in the yes, and I guess if you're gonna have a size in India You got to push them, but these guys are clowns in my book I'm gonna see them doing anything with gender on the top.

I really couldn't use anything more Reese's wrapped into his failure That's right, she wasn't that deal. We've already killed most of Del Rio's push in my opinion He's dead He is no heat around here. Well, there's nobody for a man. I'm hoping maybe we how many package from Ricardo Rodriguez because that guy has skills He is a FCW rest and how many time how many title matches are is Del Rio gonna lose Should have put it on a WrestleMania.
