Now I actually caught a little bit of free race on Sunday
I was watching the West Virginia game
And of course that went into rain to light

And one thing that I learned is
The rain is not good for your tires

It whatsoever which might be very difficult

And also become the third in wins
Snapping a tie with Bobby Allison and Bill are ill

For third on the list he follows only David Pearson and Richard Petty
With his 85th win
To put that in perspective, Jeff Gordon has 85th
And let's be honest, he's on the other side of the hill
As far as NASCAR goes

and Peterson can stay healthy and run the ball. Minnesota at times has one of the best
defenses in the league with Jared Allen. Jared Allen's healthy. They're good. Minnesota's my dark
horse. My dark horse last year was Seattle. Did well with that. I'm taking your dark horse from last
year. I mean, Houston. There's something about Houston that just I bought. But see, I drink a Houston.
I drink the Houston cool light last year. This is the year. Houston. I just all of a sudden
they dropped the clunker to Dallas and then Andre Johnson gets hurt and it's just dead. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I've just got this feeling. There's something about them that got a little bit of swagger to him.
Oh, they do. I'm taking Houston as my dark horse. I think I think they've got the best receiver in the league.
If Aaron Foster can stay healthy, he's at least a top 10 running back in the league. So absolutely,
friend of the show, Charlotte won it last year. Yeah. The, uh, also they've decided, you know,
weight fillups, former Cowboys coach, the coordinator of the now. He's going to have Mario Edwards
standing up right this year. Outside linebacker. Mario Edwards is leaking large in quarterback and now
you're putting like they do wear at times. So I think also Houston's going to be very improved
defensively as well. And if they don't do well this year, blow it up and start over. You got to get
rid of Kubiak. You probably, you have to get a quarterback in their shop to me, just he's not a
starting quarterback that I fear. I don't fear going to reliant. Yeah, it's a nice stadium. Real nice stadium.
And it felt talk going to be a lot more in death next week because we're we're guaranteed up here.
But just Saturday with the beginning is God, the sport kickoff. Let us talk a little college football
as we go on campus. You know, as we say football was back on Thursday, boy, that that was the
worst opening day slate of games. I think I've seen them try to roll out. I said on my show Sunday,
that are NCAA ought to take that a little more seriously. But, but you know, they're not
the machines, but you know, I was great. There was football. You know, and I'm not saying
happy. I'm not saying I need one versus two, opening not not saying that. I don't know such
thing because he's imposed on me. I don't even need a top 10 versus top 2. I didn't need LSU
Oregon Thursday night Saturday. Cool. I didn't need a Thursday. So you got to give me something
more than Mississippi State at Memphis with sconton at UNLV. That I'm going to make a prediction
here. That Russell Wilson is this year's camp Newton. Really, they're not going to win the
national title because God won't allow Wisconsin national title. But I want to tell you, he will be
don't be a surprise if Russell Wilson is not lead with sconton to the Rose Bowl and he's not on
the Heisman ballot. If he stays healthy, that gives good. Well, let's talk about a game that
happened on Friday night. Friday night. Oh, Lloyd Casey Stadium, Wakeo, Texas. I had plans that
I had, there's some things I had to go take care of. I get home. I get a text from Chad saying,
call me as soon as you get to ESPN quickly. I'm like, what is going on? As soon as I click on
ESPN, there's Reese Davis or whoever was doing the late sports center said, as soon as Baylor
and TCU are done scoring. And I'm going, what is going on here? And we're going to talk more
about this and who showed up and who didn't. Baylor. Yeah, you know, Baylor, that's probably the
biggest win to happen on that campus. I got in the bait with a guy at my other job at and, uh,
to chop the, he, he, he, um, he tried to bait me last year versus Texas. Texas was a bad football
team last year. That was in Austin. I'm talking about in Wakeo, even the O for most
bit them, even the O for win against A&M was in, was in college stations. I don't want to count
that either. But Robert, they won despite, and I'm too, Baylor's the hot, lovable team right now.
RG3's a decent player. I'll tell you two things about him. He's injury prone. And if you put pressure on him,
he'll turn over the football. He's not Vincent. I'm already heard that. This kid's a senior and he's yet
to play a full slate of football games in a 13 game season. I'm going to save my, my statements on
that game for whom we can see. I like Robert Griffin. I like RG3. Just tap the break on putting him
at, at the down pound athletic club. Let's just, let's let's let's let's. Don't book that man.
That trip. Let's get through Stephen F. Austin before we, we start putting him as the, the
Vince Young era parent. And then you and I watched this Auburn game together. As we did, we, as Jeff
all the ones said, had the attention span of a new test. We were, we were all over the place.
Watch the end of this Auburn game. Wow. You got to really feel bad for the kids at Utah State,
but because they did the same thing last year up in Normandy against OU. They came out guns
ablaze and scored a bunch of points. Shot there. Why? I guess I can say. Shot there
what at the, right before halftime and all of a sudden, the athletes decided, okay,
that's, let's cowboy up here and do something. Auburn one Auburn is, if they play that way,
against Mississippi State, Saturday, they will get run out of Jordan here, Stadium. And that's
another team we'll talk about here in just a minute. I actually stayed up late and watched the Hawaii
Colorado game. His Colorado is not one a road game since 08. They mentioned apparently at,
this got this got past me Hawaii apparently moving to the mountain west conference. Yeah,
next year got wild. Did not know that. Hawaii moving out of the whack. They're quarterback. Good
player. Hawaii always has a good quarterback. You know, remember, what was the guy there,
Colt Brennan? Yep. Viewers back. Then you had a cup where he played for June Jones. Something
weird about that game though. Their coach was Colorado in throwbacks. No, they had white helmets.
No, they had the gold helmets. Okay, I thought Hawaii had some trick depth helmets. I liked them.
Uh, third quarter, Hawaii's coach has got cost time out. Bring the whole team in just
starts ripping them. Reperee comes up and says coach wrap it up. Coach says give me another time out.
I don't yet. So he takes back to back time out to the third quarter.
Think about Colorado in the pack in the pack 12. They will drown. Well, when they took on,
they were, they were the big 12's bailer. Colorado was a worse team in the big 12.
What's bad is they have a great full-sum field in boulders. A great home to the
vanage. A great stadium. They've upset Texas there. They've upset OU there. They've upset A&M.
They beat Nebraska. They have a great home field advantage. But they're terrible in the road.
Like I said, I believe it. They didn't want to road games. It's O8. Colorado. They said the
night during their highlights with Hawaii game. I don't know why the pack 12 wanted Colorado. So
bad. They were the big 12's bailer, in my opinion. And I'm telling you, watching them play,
they are going to drown in the pack 12. Well, they can't recruit. That's the thing. They
made a bad hire. Dan Hawkins and Orelation. The son Cody Hawkins, not me. He ended up,
that didn't have been a bad deal. He was a recruit signed. He'd that killing more. Check this out.
Killing more quarterback at Boise State. Cody Hawkins was recruited and signed and gave
a verbal commitment to Boise State. Wow. His dad gets leaves Boise State gets the job at
Colorado. Takes his kid. Killing more comes the Boise State. Brother, the rest is freaking
history. That's a name that will come up here in a minute as well. Then we get to the six-hour
Notre Dame South Florida before that before that. You as see versus, do you see this
any of this U.S.C. versus Minnesota? I've got that on the list too. Boy, you Minnesota was
throwing in the end zone in the Coliseum. And I'm going to tell you, watch USC, watch Utah.
We'll talk about Utah these other minutes. Can we stop saying that U.S.F. beating Notre Dame
was the shocking game of the weekend? It's like these, it's like these TV shows and host
radio shows. It was like David and Goliath. And I'm going to reiterate something I said on my
show and I talked to you about it Saturday night. I'm tired of hearing Notre Dame. It's the best
team you have in 10 years. Best team and a decade that's ever took me to South Bend. Notre Dame
will never be able to get that guy again. That player that Bama gets. That Texas gets an OU Florida
Nebraska, USC. They'll never Florida State. They'll never get that player again. This is the 1920s
where they roll into North Western, like the Four Horseman and New Rock knee. And today on the
grid, I was done. He broke that habit as that day and came in at one time. 174 and minus 12 red
range in the end zone. 19 20s radio guy. I just and it's not like U.S.F. doesn't play in the mountain
West. This is a team that you would have thought they were D3. Not a slouch team. Not a slouch
team at all. And I'm not saying that because I went there in my freshman year of college. Not a
slouch team. I commended a Notre Dame for taking that game and not taking a cupcake schedule. The
game gets delayed for lightning. Let's go ahead and talk about that now. This policy is a little
weird for me. And we know this comes from, we do we know this policy comes from the deal with Notre
Dame last year where the where the kid from the video department was was tragically killed on a
cherry picker. But what we what I found out as I was watching the West Virginia game on Sunday
was if there's lightning scene in a six mile radius of the stadium, they will stop the game
evacuate the deal and then they start a 30 minute clock. If there are no lightning strikes within
the six miles of the stadium, when that 30 minute clock runs out, then the coaches could come out and
do a five minute warmup before we resume the game. If there is a lightning strike in that six mile
radius, the clock resets. Is six miles a little too generous for you? I'll tell you what,
lightning's not something to play with. I agree there, but six miles? Yeah, I mean you never know
do you where all the conductive helmets? I was in marching band, we cured metal instruments.
I believe the weather and to me, the weather in an arbor from what I saw ESPN kept throwing up a
satellite, it could have been bad. I do commend South Florida and Notre Dame, Notre Dame, a finishing
that game. Don't tell you something, South Florida right now, it to me, they're biggest champion.
I think they're the best thing in the biggest, and that's a BCS conference. Yes it is. So don't be
shocked if you don't see them in a in a Fiesta, not it's so great. If you don't remember the
Papa John's not so. I mean just don't don't be shocked there, but by those guys. Then Westford
speaking of that West Virginia game, they announced something during this game that shocked me.
And not a lot of shocks me, West Virginia on campus stadium. Are you ready for this?

shock anybody. It shocks me that they would sell it, especially on campus. That's a little
weird for me, but I mean do we know that the drinking agent was Virginia's 21? Because if it's 18,
I believe it's 22. 22. Test. Can you rain a call, man? Wow, I got some things real quick. That's

to Notre Dame. I don't know if you saw this, uh Michigan game Saturday. First game at night.

Oregon, Gabe won a game. Gabe won away Saturday night. If you watch any of that game
from Cowboy Stadium, Oregon played as bad as you could possibly play against an SCC team. At one
point, that, that, that final score is deceiving as LSU was up 30 to 13 at one point. I mean, once you
start turning over the ball against LSU, it's church. Also Saturday night, Mark Rick, that seat
just turned into the Aggie Bonfire. We're going to talk about that here in Georgia. Georgia is,
I think if they drop to 0 and 2 against South Carolina, Saturday, you've got it. That, that job is,
is one that will be open. Um, no more team in the country. Oklahoma, open Saturday night.
It's going to be running back by committee. They were running about a five headed monster out there.

that's a top 10 team in a neutral sight, you beat them handedly like LSU beat Oregon. I think that's
enough, in my opinion, to jump them from three to one. Absolutely. None of this matters till
December anyway. Agreed. But I think right now, LSU, unless, I mean, that was a big win for those
guys, especially with the Jordan Jefferson, not, you know, him not playing a wide receiver, not playing
another linebacker, not playing LSU to me, really got out of there and went. We got through that
when now let's go run our gauntlet of a schedule. Yeah. We've already, do you want to do this
Texas needs work. I saw the highlights of that. You don't go on a rise tied nine to nine at
half time. Texas, look, I'm not, if you saw it, they're happy for 60 minutes. Texas, look,
terrible. Oh, at that score. Texas looks terrible. They, they look very inadequate at quarterback.
They have no wide receivers. Jackson Shipley's a true freshman. He will get lost. I know y'all made
him Jerry Rice down there, but he will get lost. They will be a team, a defensive team that will
cover him up and he won't be able to get open. So Texas needed work. You don't want to rise down
nine to nine. So little, just a little observations, I saw, and Bama was Bama. You want to do this

going to have their own championship games. They're going to have their own playoffs and they're going
to crown their own. I think you have more. They're going to crown their own. Yeah. You'll have the

And I think they'll have their own play off and they'll kind of do their thing. But it's the way of
