Also, we find out this week, as you may or may not have remembered before, transformers, the second one got underway. That Megan Fox. Decide she's going to compare director Michael Bay to Hitler about a week later.

Originally, Michael Bay was like, oh, she's just playing blah, blah, blah. About a week later, she is then dismissed from the second Transformers film. We find out this week, Michael Bay has admitted that he was told under no certain terms to fire her by one Steven Spielberg.

Now, you may say to yourself, what does Spielberg really have to do with this? Dreamworks, which is a company that he co-owns, was one of the distributing partners for the Transformers franchise. That is why that happened.

If you know anything about Steven Spielberg, this is the guy that directed Schindler's list. He takes that kind of thing very, very, very seriously as really a lot of people should. And that's not, that's never something you really want to make light of, especially in the public to a reporter.

So that's why that happened. We go on to movie new releases this week. If you are someone who has a child, first of all, gentlemen of that sort, happy belated Father's Day to you.

We hope you had a great Father's Day. I'll talk to some of our listeners that are Father's at the remote on Sunday. But if you want to know where your kids are this weekend, picks our returns to your local Synaplex Cars 2.

Because there were so many unanswered questions from the Kerfers Cars film, I guess. Lightning McQueen and the boys going overseas. The first one was okay.

I wouldn't put it toy story. The first, the first. I enjoyed it.

I wouldn't own it. That was my thing. The first movie was, was okay.

I don't think, yeah, I wouldn't own it. And I don't know if it, I don't know necessarily if it needed a sequel to it. So I always thought that was weird too.

Also this week, Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Jason Siegel, Phyllis from the office, as Bad Teacher. By the way, in case I did not say it, Rotten Tomatoes has Cars 2 at 86% right now. Okay.

So there is that. Also, Bad Teacher. Bad Teacher, I'm going to let you guess what Bad Teacher sits at right now on Rotten Tomatoes, sir.

I'd say it's a 50-50 movie. It's exactly at 50% right now. Well played.

Yeah. I don't know. This is basically the story of a teacher who doesn't really care about teaching.

But she finds out that there is a bonus involved for the state testing. And so she decided she wants money for a chest augmentation to retract one Justin Timberlake. And then here we go.

It looks funny. I'm not sure I'd pay ten bucks to see it in a theater. That might be when I catch on DVD maybe later on.

Your other big relief. I actually wouldn't call this a big relief. 75% on Rotten Tomatoes for a movie called Conan O'Brien can't stop.

This is a documentary about late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien who goes on a combination stand-up and musical tour. I'm told he's a heck of a guitar player. This is a documentary about that tour.

So I would mind checking it out. I just don't know if he's funny. I think he's funny.

He used to ride for Saturday Night Live in the good days. He was a writer back then. And you'll see him in sketches every once in a while if you watch classic Saturday Night Live.

DVD and Blu-ray new releases this week. The recent Liam Neeson vehicle called Unknown where he gets kidnapped and then they don't know who he is. Hence unknown.

I think he just goes out on top of taking. Don't do another action film after taking. Because taking to me was just that good.

But 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. Also this week, Cedar Rapids at 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. This would be a rental for me.

This may be a rental this weekend for me. Ed Helms plays a small town insurance salesman that goes into the business for the first time. I've heard excellent things about it, especially from our good friend, Devon Pike, over at RealGeniuses.com.

As Diary of a Wimpy Kids sequel, Roderick Rules releases and 47% on Rotten Tomatoes. Nothing on that? You know, the books became a juggernaut.

How many books are there? I would say there's more than 10. Do they still have the book fair at school?

Oh yeah. I don't know if it's not as prevalent or as financially. Cheaper and we don't ever buy a book for a buck.

You know, not any more. It's give me 20 bucks for the book fair. Really?

Yeah, I don't know if... Before or after he does the laundry folded in the yard now. Yeah, there's some, but yeah, the book fair is still around.

But yeah, I think there's, I would say there's over 10 of these little books. Does he still get the newsletter that he brings home or you can order the books and the books coming later? Yes.

Does he still do that? No, no, no, no, no, no. So that's not a thing anymore?

No. Wow. Interesting.

Yep. Also this week, the Matt Damon vehicle, the Adjustment Bureau releases today. Looks good, looks good for a little bit and then I was like, Thank God.

It got too born for me. 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. Like somebody else was trying to do the born identity.

They basically take all of the reviews for a movie, put them together, and the percentage of good reviews make up its rating. Passing is 60%. That's going to do it for movie talk.

I am, yes, that robber of an ERVIN. We are going to move on right now, and we're going to talk about something that you don't hear us talk about, at least on this show, we've talked about it before. But we haven't talked about it on this show.

We're going to talk a little golf. That was a big one. You know, we're going to go across to Destiny Cody?

Yes. We had a major, a major championship, i.e. the Masters, the British Open.

The US, the Congressional Country Club hosted the US Open. That was in Washington, D.C. I saw this coming Friday.

This is a guy, Roy McLemore, she's been in a hole for a couple of days, won it by almost nine strokes. And this was a guy who had the Open lead pretty much Friday. Youngest guy to win it, breaks, I don't say breaks, but does a lot, breaks quite a bit of Tiger's records in this little run that he's on.

And I was pretty shot to see him do so much with a field. I don't know how strong the field actually was. I know that some of your guys were in it, your Ls, your Yangs, some of your other golfers were in it, Sergio Garcia, which he had to qualify to get in.

So this thing starts on Thursday. He pretty much had this thing wrapped up by Saturday afternoon. Never was a big Sergio fan, but he was a name that was in it.

Roy McLemore, I can't seem to say his name right. He's been a guy, it's been a phenom since he was about 718 years old. So this guy's been expected to do this kind of stuff for years.

Sounds like McLemore. Yeah, this wasn't a guy who just all said, I'm going to win a major tournament. Golf had really had their eye on him for a long time.

Is he going to be the next big thing? And I post this question, we've already done it. Congratulations, Roy, he's going to take a three week break.

I don't want to get into the NBC Pledge of Allegiance thing. That happened, I don't know if you heard about this. No, go ahead, because I heard something about it.

But NBC issues apology, because when we started play Sunday, they edited the words out from under God, out of the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, during their pre-thing. And I post this, I won't get into this, but I'm talking about the hot topic issue. Question for everybody here listening, and I appreciate everybody listening.

Do we get outside of the National Anthem, which I'm all for? Do we get to patriotic at these things that when it takes a little step, a little hiccup in it, we blow up on media, we blow up on the situation? So you're saying that maybe this was a little over-blind?

Well, I don't know if it was necessary to even have the Pledge of Allegiance where it was at in the show. I just, to me, if it's going to be that big of a deal, just don't do it at all. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

If we, NBC says it would happen, they apologized, I think, NBC to me was held responsible, and I totally agree with that. If you're going to start the National Anthem, you're going to start the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Finish it.

Finish it. Do it right. That's why one of my things with sporting events, X-I-E, the Super Bowl, sing the song.

Yep. I don't need you to rewrite what Francis Scott Key wrote. Nope.

Right. Let me sing the song. So NBC got a hot water for that.

I thought, for the most part, their coverage was done very well. A question I asked to you, and everybody in the chat room, is this kid the next Tiger? But see, here's something that we talk about on this show, all the time.

Can we stop being, is this person the next so-and-so? Okay, why can't he be the first Rory McElroy? I just think Tiger's the bar.

Just like Jordan's the bar. I wouldn't say Tiger's the bar right now. I see.

Tiger five years ago. Yeah. But he's the majors, the wins, the money, Tiger's the bar in that sport.

In the majors, Jack Nicholas is the bar until you tell me otherwise. Yeah. But, I mean, with this generation of golf, Tiger's the bar.

I think it's way too early to even start making this. Well, this... Let McElroy win it.

I mean, he came close to the Masters. He wins this thing. Yes.

Absolutely. John is right. He, part of his representation, he doesn't change McMahon.

That's right. And he was there. But, it's so early to start making these labels.

Let this kid start winning tournaments and start winning majors. Yes, he's been a phenom since he was like in the womb, but I'm not there yet. My deal with McElroy is, and I think, and we can tie this in together, my next point was, is he the future of golf?

Here's the deal. Tiger's had three in the operations. Tiger Woods is not getting any younger.

I'm not going to be the one that says Tiger's done. I don't want to take that with it. I don't want to go that way with it just yet.

I believe Tiger Woods needs to get on a golf course and play golf and practice and get on that knee. If I'm Tiger, I'm not playing the rest of the year. Well, you said that last year, too.

Yeah, I thought he should have took a year off in the get-go. And everybody thought that was the dumbest thing. No, I agree with you.

Stay out till you're 100%. Is he hurting for money? No, absolutely not.

That's what I'm saying. Roy McElroy may be the future of golf, but he's not the future of American golf, because let me tell you something. He's not American.

He's from Ireland. Northern Ireland, excuse me. I think with America, America will never embrace him because he's not American.

I disagree. I totally agree with that. Oh, it's your opinion.

That's why you agree with that. I disagree. I think as long as you had a guy, American guy, Roy McElroy does nothing for American golf.

Nothing. And the sport will suffer in this country. Well, I think what you're going to have to see is our leaderboard, we saw leaderboard, your top 10, not one from the United States of America was in your top 10.

At the U.S., open. At the U.S., open. So.

I just think that you know, and I'm not begging anybody if you're, hey, come back and shout out to Moscow. We had Moscow, shout out to Edinburgh, shout out to Polotus in South America. Yeah.

All the people hitting the website, thank you. And this is, I'm not anti any country. But I just think with American golf, as we've seen, like we were seeing with American tennis right now.

But to me, it's going to get to the point where nobody in this country cares again. To me, American tennis has never really been two words that I put together. Well, I'm just saying, you got to think of guys like San Frisk, guys like Agasy.

You watch the documentary not too long ago on Jimmy Conner's. People like that. I mean, you're talking about Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Jimmy Conner's.

Well, America got in the mid 80s early 90s, you had all these American players. I think golf is in trouble. If they don't get an American superstar again, I'm not saying globally, but in this country, I believe the PGA suffers in this country.

That's my opinion. That's proven fact that when Tiger doesn't play, nobody watch a rating suffer. And if I don't know, I don't know from a worldwide angle.

I don't think golf will die. If I was in BC about seven o'clock Friday night, I'm getting nervous. Thursday night or Friday morning, I'm getting nervous.

Because you had a 19 hours of coverage Saturday and Sunday, and you had a guy with a nine stroke lead. But who carried it all Thursday? Friday.

That was the SPN did. That would be the four-letter count. None of it was live.

Oh, what? None of it was live. Did we ran it?

Yeah. I know my around the Horn of PCI. Yeah.

The only channel that had a live T-off was the golf channel, which is owned by NBC. That is true. So,rory, congratulations.
