Well, I guess it is the 14th of August and we have to send a birthday shout out today.
Pretty much as I have been all weekend.
It is Madeline Mars, 16th birthday today.
They're party and up at the pool up there up in the Savannah area fills youngest and
chin and youngest of course because it's her both for parents and had a little surprise
for.
Flue her.
Flue Shannon's parents in to celebrate whether this weekend and we got a surprise
or at work.
It was a good time.
Had a great time within this weekend.
They're still whipping it up up there in Savannah.

the race starts you'll play part really always part of it during the day and part of
it under the light because right now we're still the sense of setting about 815 830.
So I'm pretty sure you could consider this to be a day night race.
I just call it a desk race or something.
Well because you race longer than desk I'm just saying you'll give if that's when it
starts you know just saying all right let us keep moving and get into a little bit
of the TV talk because we are a one stop shop for all things pop culture.

First of all congratulations to Zoo have you watched any of this show?
No real interest in it CBS is given it season three didn't even know there was a season
two.
Yeah I thought this thing just started.
Wasn't it just something like the animals and they come to life for something what
to do with that?
It's it's like you take the the walking dead and mix it with the strain with some where
a wolf is a minute.
Wait hold on hold it up still out and it more news that's going to make you go really
big brother renewed for seasons 19 and 20 you know that they've already like killed this
and resurrected it and it's in its motherland of the UK like twice now it's like it keeps
going away and coming back there's okay we're done with it okay we're done with it and
honestly I could still care less about this show it just does nothing for me.
Right Donovan though renewed for season five I know so many people that love this show
and you're not one of them.
It's not that I don't love it I've just never watched the episode but it sounds like
it would be something that would be up my alley given to the cast is yeah if nothing
well and just a concept of it where he's just like a fixer it's just it looks real
and I you know it's it's huge with a lot of people that I know that are better
into such things he's a fictional dad that will not let him get out of that hell
and it's had some amazing guest stars on it it's just insane you kind of think you kind
of think that they see this is their boardwalk empire just set it a modern day set it
modern day boy I don't know that's a pretty big shoes you know how big of a fan I am
of the boardwalk empire because they've already tried out their hand at a true blood
and it didn't go well so we have released the debate schedule first debate going to be
I believe September the 26th some Monday night there will be one presidential debate
then a vice presidential debate and then two presidential debates the last one will be at the
end of October in Vegas the late show will go live after the debates they announced
that this week so Colbert will be live after the debates are over that's what he's been
doing that's what he was doing at the RNC and the DNC so apparently that's that particular
formula seems to be working for them season six of American Horror Story didn't
ready come up just rushes in the chat room good is good to see you sir drop by your
work last night you weren't there um but you know the guy probably got to have some time off
everyone's in a while yeah you can talk into the microphone that would be amazing I'm have you
is this your first week I'm just yeah yeah I'm really tired bro you got to cut me a little bit
but Sarah Pulse and will be returning to American Horror Story for season six and another news
water is wet she seems to be like the only one that keeps coming back every time well and she
did American crime story too because remember she played Marcia Clark and did a darn good job
destroyed it absolutely um we have some premier dates for a couple of showtime shows home land season
six will start January the 15th again another show I didn't realize it'd been around that long
and billion season two don't as a big fan of this show don't love season one season two will
bow on February the 19th so get ready for that arrest is the doesn't work weekend so there that
would be why I didn't see all right what else oh about this we're gonna which um you know how
my big fan of the season you know last year they did the season with uh Notre Dame yes I will
not be watching at this year let me guess feel free does it have anything to do with a seminar or
hurricane the former okay I cannot I won't do it I respect Jimbo Fisher as a man and there's a coach
but I from an ideology standpoint I'm out just saying I don't know how many meltdowns
there this year don't if it gives you stress and you don't need to be watching it no I won't give
me stress it's just by idea on my ideology no just saying yeah if it gives you stress then you don't
need to be watching it uh the CW no longer developing the series for Friday the 13th or a little
women they're out wow rust just uh wants to know if you saw that he message you about game of
thrones live oh I must have missed that one is it the orchestra because I know Hodor was in town last
night DJ in downtown is that what you were talking about rust that that was like that was the
grave of thrones yeah but I've heard they're going to be doing a live or orchestral two or two oh
that I'm in I don't know if it's coming to town or not but I think that's what rust is referring
to I heard about that a couple of weeks ago forgot to put on the run sheet um this Thomas Gibson
thing it's getting weirder and weirder so she's what we know Thomas Gibson who I will always
remember as Greg from Dharma and Greg he was directing an episode of criminal minds which he also
stars in this year things got a little heated between him and an assistant like a lighter producer
and he allegedly kicked them like physically kicked them he leaves the set apologizes they
suspend him now he's fired he's on the show but now I read right before the show that he's now
lawyered up so this isn't over sir and and seem like I read something that was connected to
Shamar more getting like some some of his property stolen by somebody on that show I'm really
I'm like what's with all the actual criminal activity on criminal mind it's well played well
played sir like there's some actual freaking courtroom drama happening on that show HBO developing
a biopic for drug lord Grisselda Blanco this takes place in the 80s if you're heard who's playing
her Grisselno so are they basically trying to compete with Queen of the South this is going to
be at like just like a biopic it's not going to be a series but I mean but it it sounds like it's the
same stinking premise I'm like you know what I'm saying is look up a picture of this lady and go
are they doing her a favor they're doing her a huge favor
she's like 180 or something like look at the dude that money balls based on when they got
Brad Pitt to play him have you heard this SNL deal this week no three people gone
not of their own volition anybody if no we start with jod rednitsky I don't know if you remember
he did a he did a bit on we can update where they were parodying dirty dancing it was very very funny
of Terran kill him not sure that is either you know who he is dooglet he is also mister Kobe
smoulders oh okay how do you spell it? T-A-R-A-N K-I-L-L-A-M I like for you to look this one up because
I know who you know the third one is that guy's with god really that is yeah that is
mister Kobe smoulders and also out j-faro really that those two I'm kind of like and Terran didn't
even know like they just called them like yeah we're not renewing the contract is like oh okay fair enough
so they have not announced any new cast members as of yet Michael Imperial Lee if you remember
him from the sopranos I do he will be joining the cast of Lucifer who will be playing
the character of Uriel also some big people joining the cast this year in guest starring roles
Amy Garcia Trisha Helfer going to be joining the cast and one charisma carpenter we have a
charisma carpenter sighting uh Russa San Antonio's the only Texas city on the orchestral game of
thrones tour okay apparently Terran kill him and J-Fair already have plans to join a showtime
series okay good because those are those separate series that's both huge talents and they should
they there's no reason for them not to have work uh Fara will star in the half-hour comedy white
famous about an African-American comedian who tries to uh geez I just got a pop up right as I'm
trying to read that that's nice all right we'll just get moving uh got the official the word that
September 24th will be the season one hour season premiere of Star Wars Rebels season three good
I'm so pumped about this great trailer for that is up right now uh Fox apparently wanting to do
the ex files thing again really huh they're looking at it and looking at a longer run this time
uh Russa's is gonna be used in and San Antonio he corrected himself oh man so yeah let's just work
all the way around this town you're gonna go through here to get one of them yeah and they're probably
going to Oklahoma City after they get into San Antonio or somebody hates us uh we have Star Girl
cast on legends of tomorrow she will be played by Sarah Greg is another doing the JSA yes have
you seen the logo looks great no you told me about it we talked a lot a little bit last week and
guess who will be playing Obsidian don's gonna be very excited about this oh good lord
we won Lance Henrickson really yes sir I'm in uh we're gonna be staying in the the vein of the
CW Susan Walters she's one of those ladies that you see are like oh her she's gonna be joining
the flash as Caitlyn's mom so we're gonna be looking into her past this season have you seen the trailer
for season three of the flash boy everything's all jacked up everything's all jacked that's not what
they showed at Comic Con and I'm like yes that's the one the whole yeah we're basically doing flash
which we all pretty much figured which actually they voiced those words of the trailer um um okay
we all we talked about on this show that there's going to be a mega crossover with all four shows in
November right you're also gonna get a two episode crossover with super girl wait for it oh I
know it's coming that's a music yes you're also going to get a two part episode with just the flash
that's gonna deal with girl a city so girl will be back this year and Kevin is involved in what
he's directing episodes for both shows we found out this week thank you for saying that I forgot to put on the
run sheet so Kevin's gonna be uh he's directing season episode three of the season of the flash
they haven't said which episode yet of super girl he's directing because they gave him a ding
good episode of flash to direct last season so and he did a great job yes he did
Dolph London will be joining arrow this season this will be the last season for the flashbacks
and he will be involved in the flashbacks can I well remember go remember this is season
five or six and he was gone five years yeah so I fully expected that to be what happens
I'm just glad that it's finally caught up and we don't have to deal with that anymore we've got some
guest star listings for Empire season three are you interested in this for Empire season three I know
one of them and I'm which one the Mimi all right Mariah carries one uh French Montana
who's with the kids at the close in the hair but could I interest you and Tay digs now really
not a Tay digs fan because I'm a fan of the Tay digs now I'm a joyous fine work I'm not
Stella and I don't need you in my groove back he did a great episode of Ed back in the day never
watch that show I know you were a huge fan I'm I'm awaiting the day it becomes available on on some
kind of DVD or blue right it's not no wow I think there's some issues with some of the music
rights they use on that show that's how usually works well I could guarantee I guarantee you it's
not the theme song because that was food fighters and Dave girls not that dude so
we have found out this week that the new new series Star Trek discovery which bows in January
is going to have a female lead in it yeah I saw that so I'm interested in that and Amazon has green
lit their first docu series you see this this week I don't think so American playboy the
you have no story that's that's it that was that's Joe McHale ruining that for the rest of my
life I'm a boat captain so TV or DVD on blue right this week once upon a time season five sir
you believe that no I can't got them season two available this week a sailor moon crystal set one
got nothing uh hell on wheels season five vampire diaries season seven vinyl season one and
the complete series season only uh power ranger super mega force that's pretty big
the affair season two her great things about this show never really got into it
blue grant season two being released this week remember fuzzy was he had no hair
or fuzzy was he was a bear fuzzy was he had no hair fuzzy was he wasn't fuzzy so he changes
name to add asner moving on I love anime and the complete series of dead like me I think this
is a show that you should really check out this was about six seven years ago oh I remember it was
Jasmine guy Ellen mute was in this and they're all reaper they're like grim reapers wouldn't it like
the the promo photo was the the hood of the grim reaper the blue gun yeah yeah and in the very
first episode the way she dies apparently when you're when you're a grim reaper the way you die
becomes your nickname as a reaper then she like have it like airplane there was a toilet seat
okay so she's toilet seat the also we know it's check this show out this is one of this is your
homework check out dead like me because I really think you did it how many seasons there run uh two or three
now very many and that's the dog on chain all right let's talk personal ventrists POS stands for
personal ventrists it is a segment we do on this show where we take a person or an entity
and we debate their greatness or lack thereof as we are listening to the clubhouse podcast or one
stop shop for all things pop culture personal ventrists belongs to me this week and I want to talk
about something that happened right about a week ago right about this time it was the Hall of Fame
we've heard about these stories all week long how badly this was handled apparently like
even the league didn't tell people to the countdown clock war all the way down that it already
bought souvenirs and concessions and I'm like oh yeah the game's not going to be played I want
to give an altered it plan and I mentioned it the last week but I think we should talk about it a
little deeper it's the Hall of Fame so you have people getting inducted you know do you see or
you had Brett Favvara amongst the rank Marvin Harrison that's why the cults were going supposed to
play the packers what would stop us from taking the Hall of Fame game and making it the
proble I was wondering that myself because they're probably watched with equal amounts of enthusiasm
you'd have to move it of course because you can't do the pro ball in August and you know I'm
sure it's probably still pretty cold and acronym February but why couldn't we take the Hall of Fame
move it not moving the actual Hall of Fame but move the game do it the same week and you do the draft
okay and construct something in acronym that you can do because this whole traveling the draft
failed bit last year failed bit that was from the stories I've read as soon as Chicago had their pick
you could have fired a cannon through that place and I hit a soul oh I remember seeing the
coverage of it and I'm like wow that place emptied out I've got I've got friends and relatives that
live up there to like yeah this is the scene around here seems like a lot of money was spent for
not a lot of a lot of investment not a lot of return on the investment why can't we just
because it should be end of April snow should not be a problem in Ohio no it ought to be pretty
dark on nice because August just about anywhere sucks yes be honest in this country
we're almost halfway through it and I'm ready for Labor to Weekend for more than one reason
and we're gonna talk about something that's gonna happen next month that has never
happened in the history of the show coming up a little bit later but you know do it the same
weekend as the draft maybe play it maybe go back to the whole weekend being the draft instead of
doing round one on Thursday do the Probow on Thursday do round one maybe even round two on Friday
and then you could still wrap it up on Saturday if you really wanted to so you honestly think
doing the Probow on Thursday would be the best course of action rather than on Sunday
you're gonna get the same ratings regardless of when you play because nobody's gonna watch anyway
well but you're more likely to get in on a lazy Sunday than in the middle of the week but if you also
put you know end of end of August or end of August end of April again you need to make the
the Probow a flag game anyway they should they should not be tackling in the Probow no
somebody's gonna break a hip play it as a flag game and I still don't mind the the school yard
pickup thing they do I still think you should be NFC versus AFC especially if you're gonna do it at the
whole fan but I think that's just a better way to do it it's gonna be beautiful out you know and
if you're gonna do a game it's for the fans and I've said this a billion times
don't do it in Hawaii that's not for the fans that's for the players let's just call it what it is
because I don't know about you but I sure as hell can't afford to spend a few days in Hawaii in February
talk about peak tourism season I love how they say it's a free vacation for the players yeah
because they can't afford it otherwise anybody the players can the fans can't no no I'm just saying
how they refer to it as a free vacation for the players I'm like really and they get kind of
check for it so they're paying they're getting paid to do suck on that but I just just more of the
disconnect because that thing last week was a debacle did you ever say I never got to look at the
I didn't have to damage I'm pat back pat McAfee now has a podcast which is called the pat
MacAfee show a comedy podcast for America is it America or America is wearing like a tank top
that's the American flag and there's like an eagle superimposable ironed lords it's it's typical pat
MacAfee he is really become your leader you know I'm a huge fan I'm a huge fan of MacAfee just because
he's just he's so goofy he's fun the man owns a wrestling ring okay but we should hate the
guy but you just oh no you can't hate MacAfee I want a MacAfee jersey I'm saying it right now
I don't want a MacAfee they're not very cheap well I might have to go to if we got any
members of the empire in indie that can go to like Walmart and give me one of those $30
or cult jerseys I will reimburse you I don't they don't have to be fully stitched but like you know
you can get like $30 like cheap both jersey type things at Walmart even though they didn't
happen for the dolphins when I was down there which was weird oh I just man this thing was
such a debacle and and MacAfee really goes through he's like they told us we were they
they knew an hour and a half before but they were not allowed to tweet they weren't allowed to do
anything that's shady what were they what were they hoping for that everybody that just maybe the
paint would drive I don't know are the paint would not be a gelatinous mess anymore I this was the
weirdest thing to me it sounds so jerry jonesish and they said like Tim McGraw played a concert
there like the week before and it was fine all the Tim McGraw paint is logo in the field oh I don't
know but they said the center of the field it was so bad because apparently one of the problems was
in astro turf they have he's like little pieces of rubber that work like soil right that they
whatever they were rolling on the field was actually sucking all that up so it was just the turf
and they said it was like coming on content that's a gather at a fell that's pretty stupid I get
you for four months a year that's it and you know what I'm gonna say check McGee I agree with
this has been the longest offseason I've lived through in years I know it feels like the it feels
like the Super Bowl was like ages ago and it's it's absolutely driving me crazy thank god we
had the Olympics this year because we got something to keep our minds occupied but just something
to throw out there just think about it NFL and if you do it I'm not gonna take credit the logic is
everybody will know that somebody's listening to the show but you won't you you won't take credit
for because that wasn't gonna give you credit that's a fair point you'll want credit but you won't
get it but let's I mean let's just just try and see what happens I mean you move the the Pro Bowl
one year and that turned into a debacle because you decided to do it in Miami and February which
is one of the worst rainy seasons of the year but let's just not even talk about that let's move on
talk a little bit of Major League baseball Prince Fielder retiring this hard week after
actually heartbreaking speech and everybody I've talked to anybody that didn't say it was a wonderful
speech and the of course we talked about this couple is a weird thing same exact number of
home runs as his old man wow how weird is that I've seen this due to house he's from your neck of
the woods oh it's really yeah he was on some episode of I wanted the the cribs no I want to say it was
the one on animal plant is it tanked oh this is he's two guys it build oh that will go so tanked thanks
and he's he's got some crib like down in Florida that looked absolutely ridiculous and because my
Marlons can't seem to catch a break Jean Carlos Stanton who we talked about last week he's out
for the rest of the year with a great entry so there are biggest offensive weapon done it just
kills me that I I had tickets to a Ranger game and it was scheduled for two days after Prince
got hurt oh wow really and he has hands down my favorite play on the team probably for
more than a couple of obvious reasons but like because you know you know we've relocated to
that same neck of the woods where the what the stadium is and shortly after uh Jill's not relocated
there we were going into um a Walmart and he was coming out of it oh really I mean walk right past
it's not like that and she's like what you know I do you know you are sir totally freaked me out
and he you could tell he was trying to like not be noticed he was he was very Prince Fielder
well he you know he's he's wearing a you know a shirt that's at steel all the bases and
and he had a Ranger cap on it as he walked at he kind of pulled it down over his face as he walked
fast as all your bases are belong to I was like holy crap all right so let's talk standings
shall we let's do we get over right screen here American week east Tampa Bay 47 in 69
not doing well they're 19 games back they're on a one game one streak though they are
13 and a half games back on the Yankees who now the Arada era is officially over
they got to play third base for one out um really I thought they were going to let him do
I know it happened and I want to say something to my beloved marlins I'm hearing chatter you leave
that man alone oh they are not I'm hearing chatter oh please I am hearing chatter and it
does not make me happy I will disown my beloved marlins if they sign him they will they will
that day I'm saying it right now I will pull a rob with Terrell Owens and the cowboy's
if they sign him and I may not turn back that that will be one of the worst mistakes they will ever make
Yankees are four and a half back on Boston Boston is a game back on Baltimore Baltimore now
within one of Toronto who is now has the lead in that division just recently because Toronto's
one two straight and Baltimore's lost one in the central minnesota twins 24 games below five
under sir yeah it's August you might want to win some things I'm just saying they're 21 and a half
back they're four and six in their last 10 they are nine and a half games back on the shy socks
who had a little bit of a tussle with my marlins this weekend Chicago a game back on the
royals by the way the royals are now 11 back in the division remember they won the world series last
year sir Kansas City is six back on Detroit Detroit now five back on Cleveland Cleveland is on a
four game win streak they are seven and three in their last 10 if Cleveland stays on pace I'm going
to put an over under right now in the month of September 72 is the over under for number of times
that major league is shown wow I'm just saying I can't really argue with you in your particular
division sir the AL West in the basement right now law the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Los
Angeles County California American North America Earth Milky Way they are almost 20 games below 500
sir they they they are on a 10 game losing streak and it probably started right after
they played the Rangers because they they won the game I was at 10 game losing streaks sir
there's 16 games below 500 on the road and there are only three games above it at home
I'm sorry no they're three games below 500 at home my bad they are 19 games back there three
games back on Oakland Oakland is 11 and a half back on Houston Houston's a game and a half back on
Seattle Seattle right now even though they're eight and two in their last 10 there's six games back
on your Texas Rangers but this is about the time of year that you did Ranger fans start to get
a little nervous every yeah not every year but more often than not let's go into what happened
where's the rest of the which is where we're in a constant state of let's just wait for the other
shooter drop in the NL West the Arizona Diamondbacks are 21 games below 500 they're 18 and a half back
they are two back on San Diego San Diego's five and a half back on Colorado Colorado now
10 back on Misty's beloved Dodgers the Dodgers are a game back on the Giants right now
so a lot going on there in California in the NL Central Cincinnati
they are 20 games below 525 and a half back they are four back on Millawoke
Millawoke 7 back on Don's beloved Pittsburgh Pirates Pittsburgh a game and a half back on
John's beloved St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis now 13 back on the Cubs the Cubs when they lost
earlier today that ended a nine game win streak for the Cubs friend of the show Marcus Blake
a big Cubs fan again this is the time where Cubs fans starts to get a little nervous too and in the
only division that matters the NL East you sure about that you always say that are you sure
if it's only on the matters to me I will I will be a brave fan until I die okay
which might be sooner rather than later at this rate 30 games below 500
there's 26 games back you understand that means if they go out of 26 game win streak
they might be close to first they need a 52 game swing to to take first place in the division right now
realistically I don't think that's gonna happen well because we've only got like 45 games left in the season
team makes me want to drink they're 12 and a half back on Filly four games back on the
Metz the Metz are two games back on for who is now my beloved marwin's but the marwin's now eight and a half
back on the nationals the nationals are killing it right now all right take a deep breath what is
going on here people doing some math doing some math doing some math I think we may
America's favorite game show maybe back intact as I'm looking through numbers yeah it is by a
long shot all right let's do America's favorite game show what is the run differential for the
land of race was I in the bathroom just now where at the bottom of the wall that affects a little too

joined ESPN in 1986 when did they go in the air? 79 okay hosted the sports reporters

Jen Rome sent me a Facebook message because I haven't seen Peter and Jean forever. Yeah he was at a
show last weekend she was there apparently she dropped my name and they just lit up and we're like
oh yeah he didn't come up here and I haven't picked her with us. Oh gosh and that made me feel so good.
His best friend which you know when you think about it Peter Mayhew 7274 depending on
what convenience store he's leaving. His best friend was Kenny Baker who played R2D2.
Who three foot six maybe like he literally fit inside R2D2. Kenny Baker passes away yesterday
at the age of it was a 81 that was 80 don't want to say it was 80. I thought I saw 81 but it
got clear to 80. Yeah let's just put it that way. All accounts I never got to meet him but I did
buy all accounts quality human being. Some of the artwork that has come out in the last 24 hours
has astounded me. A friend of mine actually put on Facebook a picture of the autograph he got from
Kenny Baker and that just I mean you've met him so I mean you can speak to more of this and I can
oh he's he's one of the nicest most accommodating people you'll ever want to meet it. It was it was
troubling to me that I'd heard about his health getting getting worse and worse like he couldn't
make the premiere for episode seven. He'd been pretty much a wheelchair bound and his lungs are
really in that shape and I was like this is not good. I just when when I heard about him not being
able to make the premiere I'm like that we're we're probably going to do a countdown on him. So
I was just fearing the worst one. Our deepest go to Kenny's family. Our deepest go to the Mayhew
sweet sweet man. He will be horribly horribly missed. Okay let us get the wheels back on as we

this isn't a fit for me. No. Maybe I'm in the minority and maybe he's testing through the roof,
but not in my house. He's not. But I'm telling you, I don't know what is the lesser of two
evils between him and heal wrestler announcer guy on Corey Graves. I get Corey Graves is another one.
When he's not heal announcer guy, Corey Graves has great. He's great. He's good. When they were just
doing pre-shows on the paper views, I'm like, I can totally get behind this guy, but it's so forced
and so unneeded. I've hated JBL doing it for years. I never liked it when Lawler did it. The
commentators don't need to pick a side. Back in the day, it worked because it was what it was.
That's just move on to movie talks. I can bring my blood pressure down.
Let's talk box office numbers, dropping out of the top 10 this week. We have three films
drop out of the top 10 this week, nerve after one and a half weeks has already dropped out of the
top 10. And I'm interested in this film. It drops from 8 to 11, 2.7 million dollars,
three weeks, 33.1 million dollars probably going to be okay. Ghostbusters drops from nine to
12. They are predicting a $70 million loss on it. But they're still talking secretly. No, no,
no, no, no one likely. Really? Yes. Okay. This week, 2.3 million dollars. Five weeks,
121.7 million, 144 million dollar budget. But when you put all the other stuff together,
that's probably where the 70 million comes in. Yeah, the 50, the rule of 50. And I sage collision
course drops from 10 to 13 this week. It's 58 million four weeks. That's barely half of its
budget. But again, I think internationally, it's going to carry it. Yeah, 305 million worldwide,
you're going to get another one. That's going to have these. Dropping from 7 to 10 this week,
a movie that where I was talking to Shannon's parents this week, I'm like a touch of what they were
in town. They loved lights out. Said it was a genuinely scary movie. I've heard good things.
And not your wheelhouse. 3.2 million dollars, 4 weeks, 61.1 million dollars, 4.9 million dollar
budget. They're going to be okay. Nine lives drops from 6 to 9 this week. Honestly,
God thought that was going to be one of the ones that you said it was going to drop out of the
top 10. 3.5 million dollars, a 44% drop off. Two weeks, 13.6 million dollars. Florence Foster
Jenkins, they've used an eighth place, 6.5 million dollars. I do not have a budget on that. Start
track beyond drops from 5 to 7, 6.8 million dollars, 4 weeks, 139.7 million dollars,
185 million dollar budget. They could be crawling across the finish. And I enjoyed this film.
Yes, 71 million international, 211.3 worldwide. So you're still probably at least 20 to 30
million from from being in the black. That's a shame. Secret life of pet drops from 4 to 6 with
8.8 million dollars, 6 weeks, 335.9 million dollars. You don't know what you've seen this?
I haven't seen it yet. My sister saw it. She loved it. I haven't been talking to anybody that didn't
love it because you're getting a sequel. 75 million dollars. I'm unbelievable. Bad moms drops from
the bronze medal, the fifth place this week, 11.5 million dollars, 3 weeks, 71.5 million dollars
on a 20 million dollar budget. Not bad. Jason Bourne drops from Silver to Ford this week,
13.6 million, 3 weeks, 126.8 on 120. How is it? You just loved this one.
Day viewing in the bronze medal this week and I'm a little worried Pete's Dragon.
Yeah. Or as we like to call it, iTunes exclusive number 227. 21.5 million dollars.
65 million dollar budget. Go see this movie. Please do.
Day viewing in the silver medal position this week. So did not win the weekend.
But sausage party comes in second. 33.6 million dollars. Did you see the budget on this? No.
19 million. Really? And that thing had a long development cycle. That thing was like in
developmental health for like a decade and winning the weekend with a 67.3% drop at the box office.
Yeah. This is what we were talking about. Suicide Squad does win for the second weekend in a
row. But our question was how was it going to hold up in the second weekend? Because it really,
I mean sausage party would be the only thing that I think would challenge it.
But it still can be two separate audiences.
43.7 million two weeks, 222.9 million dollars.
175 million. I wish I still wonder if this film would have been better served if it came out after
Justice League. At the beginning of the summer, rather than the end? No, after Justice League.
Oh, after Justice League. Okay. Okay. Okay. That this this film might have been better served
after Justice League. Because then you could have introduced some of the characters in Justice League.
Yeah. But we might have to do an entirely different discussion on this film another day. Yeah.
All right. Let's get into the movie headlines. The guy, if does it any Andrew Adamson?
I mean anything to you. Andrew Adamson. Sounds like a director. He is a director.
Director of the first two Narnia films. Okay. He will be handling the live action curious
George for Universal. Is this a property that we need? Hey, they did pattington.
They've done that. That was lightning in the bottom. I'm just saying there's no way that I'm
saying it right now. There's no way that they can pattington curious George. They've done pattington.
They've done the little prints. It's like everything old is new again. Oh, and then we know that.
So I don't see why not. I mean, you could take a swing at it. Whether or not it succeeds is
anybody's guess, but you can't blame it for trying it. Warner announces that the man of steel
sequel is back on because they're desperate to try to write that ship apparently, which they should
call spoiler alert. I wonder how many people are screaming spoiler alert right now
because they saw BVS and live in a cave. And that's what drove me nuts about the Justice League
footage they showed at San Diego. It was like you didn't show Clark at all, but you put him in the
group picture. Yeah, morons. Probably would have been better if it was just a silhouette or something
or just something without us. We talked about the Rihanna earlier. She and Anne Hathaway have joined
the cast of the All-Female Ocean's Eight. And Hathaway. So you know, I'll see it. We found out that
the villain for Aquaman will be Black Manta. Makes sense. And did you see who's now announced that
he wants the role? And I'm totally on board. And if they don't get this guy, they'd better get
somebody pretty much more awesomeer. Michael, Jai, White. Oh, heck yeah, as Black Manta, are you kidding
me? I could just hear him underneath that mask too. Oh my god, that would be amazing. And he's got the
fighting skills. And he's been in the DC universe before. Enough with the cloud. Dude, yeah, I'm
do this. Yeah, do this Warner Bros. And speaking of your Aquaman Jason Mo Moa in talks to play the
crow in the remake. Does this interest you? I don't know. I mean, I mean, Alex Proyus has said there's
only one crow. Yeah, I mean, which I get it for, but you know what, you directed the film. So you've got
a bit of a bias. But Mo Moa, I'm, I am unpredictably intrigued by this. I mean, I'm assuming we're going
back and telling the Eric Draven story again, or are they going with different, but I haven't heard
either way. Does the other two crow films were involving completely different characters. It was
not engraving at all. The TV series did, right? And which by the, I'm in on this. You know what
that guy was, right? It's bad. The guy that played him on the TV series. He's your guy. He's the, the
chairman on Iron Chef U.S. Oh, that's what somebody did tell me that. He's Mr. Alec cuisine. He was, he was the
girl. He was in that brotherhood of the wolf film back in the 90s. Brad Pitt once David Fincher
for the World War Z sequel. Okay. So I'll get ready for a lot of rain. If that happens,
ready for, get ready for a World War Z to look like the sequel to seven. The lovely
and talented Mrs. Irvin has returned from her road trip. So she is home safely.
I thought she was going to poke her head in here. No, she's going the other way. She's got to put
down her back and stuff. Okay. Uh, do you need an interview with the vampire remake?
I liked the first one. I wish they could have done more with the follow-ups. Could I interest you more
if was thought is played by Jared Leto? Really, that works. A rock star vampire. That works. Hey,
just saying that's out there. And I'm sure my daughter just had a nuclear meltdown
for assuming she listens to the show. Wow. If she knows about this, she's probably losing her mind.
The Scarface remake now has a director. His name is Antoine Fuqua. Okay. And remember,
this is going to be more about the Mexican drug cartels. Okay. Because remember, the original
Scarface had nothing to do with the remake that Pacino was in. Right. So, I mean, you can you can change
the story because they've already done it. Yeah. Bad boys three now titled Bad Boys for Life.
Now, push back to 2018. January of 2018. Not a good sign. Oh, no. No, sir. But you saw what also
the January release next year is this return of Xander Cage. So, that tells you everything you need to
know. Yeah. Because that trailer looks terrible. I think I think at this point though, anything
can happen. Okay. So, good news, bad news situation. Okay. When Captain Marvel gets me,
which we know who now is being played by Brie Larson, which when you look at this iteration of Captain Marvel,
it kind of makes sense. I love that picture for my cramming the book into her face while she's
sitting on her couch. They're changing the origin story. Okay. Because they don't want it to have
any green lantern comparisons. Which makes sense. I understand. I'm okay with this. Yeah. That's
understandable. So, because it's easy to do that. Exactly. Of the young Han Solo trilogy is now
casting for Lando Calarician. Interesting rumors. I am hearing of Donald Glover. Make this happen.
Wow. Make this happen. I don't ask a lot in this life. Hashtag Donald Glover for Lando Calarician.
Now we officially have the Kyle Chandler rumor official to play cable in Deadpool 2.

War dogs this week. And you're out on this. I'm intrigued by this movie with Miles Teller and
Jonah Hill, where they turn into the youngest war weapons dealers in history.
This seems incredibly predictable. See, like we've seen it a dozen. Coobo in the two strings,
which will be screening this week. Very excited about this. That looks good.
Imperium. You saw brief images from this trailer. This is Daniel Radcliffe, where he plays a
federal agent that goes undercover in a ring of Neo Nazi skinheads. Good Lord. This trailer looks
going to be a polarizing film, you think? I mean, just slightly watch the trailer after the show.
Okay. The trailer looks really, really, really good. Okay. And this thing and he's not the only
person whose name you would know in this. Let me pull it up for you. Of course, I was not prepared
because I never am. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. D. I just like Tony Colette is in this. Okay.
Let's see who else. I can get this into scroll. Tracy Letts. That's a name I recognize.
Sam Tramel is in this. Hello, son. Apparently one of your cats wants to be involved.
Come here on a face. Also Kings Glade, Final Fantasy 15. I saw the trailer for this. It doesn't
look bad. It looks like I'm going to be a lot of fun. Yeah, but we've gone down this road with Final
Fantasy before and it didn't end well with spirits. But this one looks does this one's more medieval.
This one looks kind of cool. So also Morris from America. This was a movie that was screened at the
Dallas International Film Festival this year. I did not get to see it. It's got Craig Robinson in it.
Basically, it's about the romantic and coming age of misadventures of a 13 year old American living
in Germany. He's a young kid in school and he kind of brings hip hop to his friends. It looks really
cute. I just didn't get to see it at the Dallas International Film Festival this year. And have you
seen this thing for a tale of love and darkness? No. Written, directed, and starring, or actually
screenplay because it's based on a book. Screenplay Written, directed, and starring, Natalie Portman.
Really? Let me get to the official. This story of his youth set against the backdrop of the end
of the British mandate for Palestine in the early years of the state of Israel. The film details
a young man's relationship with his mother and his beginnings as a writer while looking at what
happens when the stories we tell become the stories we live. She speaks the native tongue.
Yeah, she was born in Jerusalem, completely subtitled. Basically, she protects him from the
horrors of war by helping him imagine stories about things that are going on around them.
It's pretty intense, dude. Wow. Looks really, really good. She kind of getting back into
black swan territory. A little bit, a little bit. DVD and blue and new releases in places should
get DVD and blue right new releases this week. The Angry Birds movie. Wow, that came in
quickly. Mercifully so. God's not dead too. I have the first one on my DVR. I haven't watched it yet.
Better get you better get better get you checkbook ready for Tuesday.
Little thing I like to call Raiders. The story of the greatest fan of film ever made.
Finally. Yes, sir. If you have not seen this documentary, I don't care who you are. I don't care
where you come from. I don't care who your mom is. Go to your local store and buy this blue
right or DVD on Tuesday. It's called Raiders. The story of the greatest fan film ever made.
We saw this last year at the Dallas International Film Festival. It is amazing. And these guys need
support and pick up a copy of bad kid begins while you're at it. Yes, basically three guys in the
80s as kids spent six summers doing a shot by shot video remake of Raiders of the Lost Arc.
And the story behind it and they go back to film the one scene they didn't get to film as adults.
You'll laugh. You'll cry. It'll break your heart. It'll lift your spirits.
Go see this documentary. This is the textbook definition of chasing a dream.
And it's wonderfully done. It's wonderfully told. And in the last 10 minutes,
don't move. Yeah. It's all we're saying. Also this week, I am JFK Jr, which was a documentary
that aired recently. I believe Spike was carrying this. You also want to get this checkbook ready,
Chad. Shark and Stein. It's DVD and blue right this week. That'd be a
crytarian collection does in Ingrid Bergman in her own words, which aired on HBO earlier this year.
And now this last one, I'm deadly serious. Get your checkbook ready. Because a movie you've been waiting
for hits at least DVD if not blue right this week. Okay. The ladies of the house. Oh,
finally like this week. So shout out to our friend, John Wildman, who we've had on the show many
many times. He has been working tirelessly to get this thing down. Also want to send a shot out
to the John and his wife, Justina. They're doing the Texas women's film festival. Yes,

There's been a glut of like HD remakes of like classic 16 bits. Yeah, I saw you, I saw you
pose that today. Be careful with that one. Uh, you're some of the golden eye thing.
Mm-hmm. Look score just, I had a buddy of mine who clicked the link
and his anti-virus and anti-malware would not. Really? Yes. So be very, very careful with that.
I've already, it's it's already installed and running. Okay. It requires you to have something you
got to run it through steam. So you know it's legit. Right. Uh, and you have to have something that
uses that source engine. So something like half life, half life to team fortress or something.
It requires that to be installed on your computer to run it. Okay. Uh, so it's basically just a
mod conversion for that game. And it is mind blowingly gorgeous. Uh, recently, uh, they did a
a PC remake of the Game Boy Classic sequel to Metroid Metroid 2. I remember it and
Nintendo quickly clamped down on them and hasn't removed it. Oh, really? Yeah. Um, and I did a little
digging and I found that some group of fans have done something similar with one of my favorite
16 bit series of all time, uh, streets of rage. I didn't read about that this week and have done a
a beautiful job on on bringing that over to it with with mods. They've got a mod where you can actually
put them into a TMNT four turtles in time. Nice. The turtles are gone, but like blaze and Alex,
everybody's from the streets of rage series is fighting in their place, but the music is all
intact. It's pretty dead game impressive. But that's what I got for decor. All right. Well,
it's time for the list and you've got the list this week. We end every show with a list and it's
chat, sir. Well, we've, we've kind of been going through this, uh, this, I don't know what you would
call it a crisis recently where films that we've kind of been fans of have just been getting
ravaged by critics. Okay. Uh, more specifically in the DC comic universe, I think we all know what
I'm talking about. But there is a long and storied history of films that were embraced and beloved
by audiences, but the critics just absolutely despise. So I came up with the list of about, well,
came up with a list of 10 of them. There are several examples, but I just, I've jotted down 10 that
were of note where they had a great commercial response, but or just we're just loved by fans,
but the critics just completely eviscerated them. Um, number 10, we kind of mentioned the upcoming
sequel to this one a few minutes ago, bad voice, too. I buy like that voice. No, I'm saying the fans
did love, but the critics just did not have anything good to say about it. Uh, number nine
this could, it should come as no real shock van wilder. That thing's got a call following, but boy,
the critics were brutal on this thing and a horrible sequel. Um, yeah. Uh, number eight, a movie that
I've never seen, but it kept coming up on these lists. And I know you, if I'm pretty sure you're
a fan of this film, Emperor Records, I love him. Yeah, and I want the soundtrack, too. Yeah,
the list is going to go quick. So just, uh, number seven patch Adams. It was one of those movies
that made you kind of feel good and it was kind of melancholy, but people thought that Robin was kind
of out of his depth in this one. Uh, number six, cure the ticket guys to go, oh,
two writer, proff too, writer. It up, I think, up to, I think, up to Tron Legacy, it was
these, no, up to Prince of Persia. It was the most successful video game based film ever made.
So I made a ton of money, but boy, um, I'll Lord, I just realized I put something down here twice.
Um, I've got to call an audible real quick, uh, Boondock Saints.
Really? Yeah. I don't know anybody didn't like that movie, but again, uh, the critics just
eviscerated it. And I know it's, uh, has a brand new cult following just for the mere presence of
Norman Reedus in it. Uh, number four, another film that I have not seen, but you have pretty much
been bashing me over the head to watch at some point equilibrium. Yes. I hope this thing really
pays off, because you have really been selling this thing all over. It's a really good movie. It's
not going to melt your brain. It's just a really good movie. And it's one of, uh, bails earlier efforts
in that genre pretty much. Uh, number three, a movie that I've always been a big fan of Tommy Boy.
Yes. If you, if you need a good road trip movie, are we just need a good movie to just have fun?
It's, it feels like a sequel. It's got a card candy cell. To me, this thing is always felt like
the spiritual sequel to Plane's trains and automobiles. Uh, number two, I'm out on this one, but I
know you love the broken lizard guy, super troopers. Super troopers is wonderful. They're doing
it's sequel. Can't quite figure out why they're doing a sequel when they, is they like
every time they do a movie, they pick a completely different area to pick on. You had, like,
what, you had the club dread. You had the slamming slamming slamming slamming. And super
troopers is wonderful. And the, the one that really killed it for me, beer fast. They're fast.
Doss, boot, doss, boot, doss, boot. And the number one example, because it's had about eight
bajillion sequels that critics hated audiences love and they keep coming back for this.
Saw. I mean, it's arguably the most successful series on this list because I'm not going to
argue because I'm not going to argue because I'm not going to be watching you. No, no, I'm out. I can't.
I, you and I've talked about this. I don't do the torture porn genre in horror. I'm out in
horror in general. And that's just like to the next level. Well, you, you, you, I think there are
certain aspects about the horror genre that you can, you like your next, uh, I didn't enjoy that,
it takes a special kind of film. And again, those are the guys that are doing Blair Witch.
And I'm out. You're next. The guys that did your next are the guys response. Oh, I mean,
guy wasn't, but I'm out. So I really, really hope that film delivers. And it's coming out next month.
