his senior season rumor is obviously with the NFL stuff we're hearing now
supplemental NFL draft is what we're hearing coming out of the color why do we
have to have a supplemental draft and who cares yeah in a quote in the best
interest of my teammates I made the decision to forego my senior year of football
at Ohio State University in quote which really wouldn't have mattered until
almost sucked over anyway right everybody's they think if here's the deal
here's the thinking the same thing happened to Tennessee they think if these
endaddled figures in this investigation step down it's gonna lessen the
NCAA blow I don't see that I think it's gonna be severe I'm not going to be
breaking news Tennessee's AD steps down they're probably thinking the same
thing because he was involved in the late Kiffin higher and was there for the
whole Bruce Pearl I don't I don't buy that at all I think it's gonna be a
situation where the NCAA is gonna rule like they're gonna rule at Tennessee you've
also got the basketball situation with Bruce Paul here's my thing no I watch a
lot of on order I know some of these behind the scenes deals that happen well
who says the NCAA hasn't said hey guys this happens will take that into
consideration and I can take a great Jack McCoy I follow recruiting quite a
bit as you'll know if you listen to this show um oh Torrell Pire was the number
one player in the country when he came out of Pennsylvania the no one player in
the country horrible career sorry Ohio State well there's that but you'll

Kansas a very generic as you would call as most NASCAR people would call a
very cookie cutter after you said that I remember I've actually driven past this
this track in my many travels in this great land of ours that's a big
facility yes it's a big facility but as far as track surfers there's nothing
really spectacular about Kansas motor speedway it's just but you said it was
it was basic beat which is very very basic but Brad Cook cows lousy if I'm saying
that right in the Dodge a Dodge to victory lane a held off Darryl or Dillon
Hart Jr. finishes second so we're now where Dell Jr. is two again but you know
what from a point standpoint that's a good thing it's great great we're sitting
here in our studio right now we're watching some classic raw from 98 I
forgotten Colonel Tom Parker had a run through which Vince called himself Tennessee
Lee I've forgotten about that I'm sorry but as this race progressed like I
said there's not much for draft there's not much beaten in bank and it's pretty
much a flat track but a great race not a lot of the big wrecks the big one like

six Jimmy Johnson in seventh Tony Stewart Kirk Bush and Greg Biffle so Stewart
got him a top team yeah so you kind of had you had all the all the players
involved I said on this show Jeff Gordon if you remember last week I thought I
liked Jeff Gordon this race he finished
four so I went as dumb as I thought oh next week polka no a very very very
peculiar racetrack it's shaped like a triangle you do get on the internet you
can look up polka no now what does that do for you as a as a driver how does
that affect a lot of it car a lot of its corners in banking in that type of
situation so yeah if you do if you're your body computer and you don't know what
I'm talking about you can google polka no raceway it'll actually show you on the
weekly media page for sure a a a above-screen shot it wasn't a quick it's
Wikipedia but lost what you thought we're talking about polka no triangle
track so look it up look it up it's a triangle track very different now does
that mean you only do it's it's weird to have a a NASCAR where they don't have
a turn for but you have a very long straightaway I mean the straightaway at
polka no is that the backside of the front side the backside so you've got the
backside the straightaway is very long a lot of passing this is another track
that really could be a Hendrix driver I think Jimmy Johnson's bound to win
other race I like Carl Edwards in this race he's been hot all year but the
standings right now as we speak is Carl Edwards still in first place 40 points
ahead of Jimmy Johnson followed by Dylan Hart Jr. in third who's one point behind
Jimmy Johnson for second the points wow Junior Junior Junior Junior's running
good in in points right now he's points racing and sometimes that's all you
need get in the top 12 last 10 races bad little out so you can ask for Kevin
Harrican Ford's Kyle Busch and fifth Kurt Busch and six Matt Kinsus and seventh
Tony Tony Stewart eight Clint Boyer ninth Ryan Newman followed by Denny
Hamlin and Greg Biffle is a lucky dog right now it has a 12 spot in the
sprint cup standing right now if the chase started today Greg Biffle you're in
Jeff Gordon you're out how do you see that actually no
but I don't see a lot of guys that could slip unless you just had a guy like
Clint Boyer get on a string of races where he has a DNF he didn't have a good
car but for the most part your other top 11 are names names you know and that
of course I mean I guess my question for you on that is because that brings
him a very interesting point is that good for the sport to have it all big
names or is it better for the sport to have more guys in there that maybe are
up and covers that could be the future of the sport that's true I you know
and I'm asking your opinion on it I mean I don't know the fact about it is the
thing about it is Nash cars all teams Roush
Hendrick right Chevrolet that's your two big teams so Roush is gonna have a
little bit more they have a lot of cars Richard Childish racing is a
decent sized race team and if you look at the top end points Carl Edwards Roush
Jimmy Johnson Hendrick Dylan Hart Hendrick Harbick Richard Childers so the
bigger teams with the more money have better cars and they put more teams in
the chase but yes I saw a question from the chatroom I've heard about a Formula
1 in Formula 1 track in Austin yes I have heard that the thing about Formula
1 for this even I'll speak for the Dallas area because they do that here
don't they little too for me the one is fun they used to have something here I
know a lot of people in the room that are close to my age they used to have
no Grand Prix at Dallas where they would drive through downtown Grand Prix
Miami yeah it'll bring it it'll will definitely definitely bring in a lot of
money love to see it and it's a lot of fun downtown Austin grave never been
Austin great build it downtown Austin there's no where you'd have to go you
have to go to like George town around rock yeah I mean because I mean that's
I've always rings Austin proper itself I feel like it feels very claustrophobic
but outside of there I'm okay yeah so I'm trying to think it have to I would

that came down after I wrote the run sheet today I don't know if this is really
breaking or not Tommy Dreamer done next week out of TNA it's calling me let
it be a road agent just convince him not to be on TV that's all I'm asking you
know a lot of people thought Mick Foley had been fired apparently now it is
coming out that Mick asked for his release and you had a little bit on that
yeah you know my love hate with Mick Foley yeah it just kind of sounds like
that a lot of people backstage at TNA thought he was hard to work with in mixed
defense he does kind of thought he was helping them improve the product oh you
know how much fish off at Hogan enjoy input from other people absolutely not
absolutely not absolutely there we go absolutely not they they they like to run
that a two show a two voice program and I just think that Mick just kind of
went and when you're pulling one nines every week you don't have to listen to
everybody right I can I can kind of do this thing myself
so TNA has also parted ways with China she was on a handshake deal to begin with
but when you tell the company I'm going into adult film full time that's
probably hit for that yeah the wrestling matters over there so per per per
her latest foray into that that venture is out now if you're in too such
things yes real quick you're right man the Saltlit greatness b-y-o-b at the Saltlit
in Austin so I've never been to the Saltlit but I mean when you're on the
travel channel I mean yeah also that's b-y-o-b yeah that's how does that work

or you didn't say last week we may have to get into food network that's

watching I impact the time clocking when the matches
actually happen you're very first match on the wrestling matters meter
28 minutes into the program your first match
your second match at the 50 minute mark your third match at the one
hour and one minute if you count the Eric Young uh can
understand thing and then you have another match at an hour 13 and a fifth
match at 142 your main event wise so I'm gonna I'm gonna bring this back up
later because I really want your opinion on something because I'm a little
I'm a little torn on a on a certain issue we're going to talk about the
end of TNA talk we do have a change in the slam
a nursery tag title match because Robert Rude with the shoulder injury
a bishop tries to strip them of the tag titles since they haven't won't be
able to defend it in 30 days Alex Shelley comes out and says let me wrestle in
your place because my partner's out for the rest of the year they agree to it
so it will be what what they call it the uh
gun money gun money so there's that
it might be only one oh by the way other meters one segment for Hogan two brothers
whenever they intro that hearty am I the only one that can't keep a straight
face whenever for to him as cold blood in that hearty yes I just start laughing
hysterically I can't another thing that's kind of funny with him is the
one half of the greatest tag team of all time it's like I said last week maybe he
was in he was in L.A.D. I had no idea
also you know what this whole bully right thing
bubba raid deadly here's a memo to you sir
you will never ever ever at this point in my life I may be wrong
but you will never ever convince me that you are a successful singles wrestler
there's some guys that can judge that our tag team wrestlers and they should
just be okay with that you know he is one of those guys one of the ones here is
is uh Stevie I think with Stevie Ray uh of Harlem Heat is one of those guys
that was was great on the uh was great on the on the tag team side but just
couldn't get it together as a single so you and I talked about this last
time the phone yeah how Booker Tias I wouldn't accept
that he would have been a good singles guy and he really has turned into a
phenomenal singles wrestler yeah but I think for bubba raid it's just too late
yeah for Stevie Ray I consider those two guys kind of being
the the same guy great decent on the stick Stevie Ray could talk a little bit
but you got him in the rain he could he was a great tag team wrestler a lot of
that is chemistry driven yeah and when you're a singles guy
and charisma your chemistry is off your in-ring opponent not your partner
so I think that's why someone got it in my opinion the
charisma you bring so but uh always think man I wish that Vince I know
their older guys would love to see Vince get his hands on on the doubly boys one
more time one more run I think he will because you you have to put them in the
Hall of Fame one more run because right now you have to put them second to LFD
that's greatest tag team ever 23 different tag team only tag team to hold
the tag teams everybody but ROH which does that really count but
but I do want as we talk about wrestling matters I do want to talk to you
and ask you a question because as I'm thinking about this whole wrestling
matters thing which which TNA now impact wrestling
what really to you in a two hour show what is the proper number
of matches to make for a wrestling for a coming that says wrestling matters
what to you is appropriate in a two hour time frame three three an hour
so you want six total was that asking a whole lot I I don't think so uh
you know I'll do but I'll do three and a half because I can no offense to
anybody listing out there I consider deepest matches half matches
okay so I would go if you gave me three matches
one title match of any sort well you want a title match every week of
sums I'm not saying I don't know what's wrong with the intercontinental title the US
the tag title sometimes the title match every week given from a WWE stand
and I'm sure you'll be depending those belts every week because you do you
might have one second I think five's again says five yes
I would everybody in a chat room that's listing that watches wrestling would
you would you like to see a title match every week on roll I would be
probably you would get yes on everybody I'm not saying the world title just a
tag title I would say at least twice a month it's good for yes there's one but
yeah I mean absolutely I think five to six is perfect
you know because five was what what impact had is it just that the WWE
paces themselves better because it seems like when I watch impact it takes
forever to get to the wrestling but you look at raw last night that thing took
up 16 17 minutes in their first segment I'll tell you this too to me impact your
opening segment on Monday night throw for years which 20 minutes and kick off
with either at that point you're on three hours yeah but you really have to
pace you kick off the night with Boudou Chalde the NWO theme and here we go for
25 to 30 minutes they'd cut a half an hour promo I mean we've seen it so we've
seen Bishoff and Hogan do this type of thing before I just I don't know what it
is with me and TNA and I don't care what you want to call the company it's
always TNA to me it's just weird for me that they just don't seem to know how
to pace themselves right where I feel like I could take you know go for a run
and come back and there still wouldn't be a match on I wouldn't have missed
anything I don't know it's just something I kind of wanted your opinion on
because you and I do like to to talk about generalized topics in in what Tony
Shavani used to call our sport many many years ago is there anything that you've
got that you want to talk about from that show this week you know you pretty
much covered it you know and I like to check I like to sometimes get in the chat
room after every segment you know David I'll just call you by name their man
I don't know about the Euro title I like the Euro I'd love to see a TV title I
don't know what covered it yeah I don't know about a European title I think that's
coming on I kind of thought that was hokey to begin with but I would love to see
Vince with a television title see you know I've talked about that for years wow
bring back the TV title because with the TV title and you have a brand
separation I think those go hand in hand you can do it but however I've got a
little something on that later on in the show that I want to talk about that

what sometimes I got to be a little bit more creative with my new releases because when you look
at the when you look at the list it gets weird and this is one
the best mode releases remixes to today I'm more of a halo since the new material
thanks but you know I mean really but you can rely on the hits you can rely on anything they put
out new going to have any relevance whatsoever they they were here a couple years ago but crowded

feature a little Wayne in everything first one was called horse power it was an EP and I just
want to know how they're doing it without getting sued that says they're playing at Austin they're

is my thing in game three we I said on this show right before game one that Dallas had the
depth advantage and I really thought that was gonna make a huge difference that game three that

um well you know I don't know if Dallas came back it was kind of like Miami collapsed I think

the teams going out by his by and talent I got two words Jerry Jones well no I'm talking about

that was it that was some weirdness though the Mavericks weren't really even a play I mean that
Dirk was a but he was brought in to carry them to the finals that he did and he didn't and they got
rid of him so every team is guilty of it hopefully Cuban you've got it to me you've got to get
Dirk two more guys Chris Paul Dwight Howard that's probably insane never gonna happen but can you
get the cat one more guy Jason Terry's not the guy you know what I'd package JJ Barrera
and if anybody in the chat room like this agrees are listening your nuts I think you take JJ
Barrera you take Tyson Chandler and you take the pick and you ship them down to Orlando for Dwight Howard
for the White Howard but let me ask you this how much longer does Dirk really have in him
well let's be honest he's not a center he's not a guy through his career that's driven the ball
very much he's not a guy that gets in the paint and takes a lot of a beating or banging I think
Dirk realistically on the level he's on could play three more seasons so you think he's got three
more I think he's got three more season that also takes him almost to the end of that contract
I think he's here five but as a top tier player I think he's got three more years in the league that's
just my opinion but I like the way Dirk finally rattled some cages I'm gonna tell you what if
through a Maverick fan American Airlines Center JJ Barrera starting just make some noise
American Airlines arena is freaking rocking down there because I would have gone the other way
with it because if you watch the American Airlines arena those fans are sitting a lot of the time
when you watch the American Airlines Center here in Dallas those fans are on their feet for 48
minutes yeah I see I'm the exact opposite opinion of you when it comes to these two arenas I just
for some reason my heat fans you know if I'm out of game I'm on my feet from the start of
the beginning until that last horn I am on my feet the whole time but as we all know we're
hearing now but I just don't to me the the Dallas crowd is is always to me at that arena it's been
dead it's that silicone crowd that's court side there at AAC and to me they're just used to
be there for the stars there's bad there's bad oh wait a minute but anyway I'm ahead of myself

acquired Marvel as they do well they do want Marvel comics for those of you that missed that last

has officially said no to distributing human centipede to because apparently we needed a sequel to

I really cannot on this family show describe the plot line of the sequel by the way

apparently live area for the first time of the 2011 MTV movie awards let me give you a quick
rundown sir uh hosted by the great Jason Sandakus I thought he did a very good job Twilight wins
five awards best male performance by Robert Patterson best fight best kiss best female performance
and best movie uh Harry Potter only wins one for best villain your your leader the Bieber wins for
best jaw-dropping moment still not sure where that's coming from uh food fighters performed one
of your leaders if I'm not mistaken yes absolutely okay he's making sure he's done with me
Chad just put a quote from Sudakus about about human centipede from that that was kind of funny
also you had Reese Witherspoon winning the MTV Generation award Robert Pattinson was horrific
on that well most of his jokes were completely flat best line for the movie was the little girl
and grown-ups who said she wanted to get chocolate wasted and then you had a performance from
a loopy fiasco and trace songs loopy fiasco I had not heard his name in a while he's pretty hot
right now and then best comedic performance went to the very great Emma Stone for easy a that's
really all you need to know about that movie new releases there's really only one of note this
week as the latest film from JJ Abrams produced by Steven Spielberg super eight hits theaters this
Saturday about a bunch of kids are shooting a zombie movie on a little uh super eight camera and
they just happen to shoot a train wreck and something escapes from the train and causes all kinds of
problems in this little uh little town you got anything on this um I saw that the dad from uh
right not likes is it yes he is you play the sheriff in town looks like it'll be his starring role 83
percent on rotten tomatoes right now for those of you again that don't know what rotten tomatoes is
it is a website that you can go to and they take all of the reviews of a film one by
all together and the percentage of good reviews gets it it's rating well to me if you're not aliens
this year you're not making any money so I've kind of realized that TV too everything's alien
right now so it'll probably make a bunch of money and you have to be a sequel of some sort
DVD and Blu-ray new releases this week the one I know you've been waiting on and this is not a bit
this is real true grit yes finally reaches DVD and Blu-ray today
saw this in the theater great film not gonna compare it to the original I actually thought that
um I thought the character of Rooster Cogburn was played better by the the actor Jeff
Bridges than the John Wayne real I thought it looked more real I think John Wayne had John Wayne
had that voice that you couldn't cover up John Wayne's voice so he wasn't necessarily a good
character actor I thought Jeff Bridges was great in this film Matt Damon great better than Glenn
Campbell they tweaked the story a tale at the end but it a great great move
oh they said they were gonna tweak it a little bit yeah did it justice I thought it was a great film
John St. Goosey X-Men first class I have every intention to trust a boy you talk about a flat
opening but still don't know anybody it didn't like it now that's just weird to me now they were
expecting that thing to do gangbusters and it did also on DVD and Blu-ray new new releases this
week just go with it that is the Adam Sandler Brooklyn Decker Jennifer Aniston Vehicle a whopping
18% on Robin's and brought tomatoes and the company men with the Benaflack not a guy who gets
laid off from his company he goes to work with his dad and very here's a very very heartwarming
tell good flick and then a green later animated film Emerald Knights releases today as we prepare
for the release of that film here in just a couple weeks we get ready for yeah for that
what do you think I'm looking forward to it but that's gonna do it for movie talk but let's

this ultimate fighter finale I got three six episodes including the finale of the ultimate fighter
in the last 24 hours to get caught up so we can talk about it tonight Tony Ferguson defeats
Ramsey Nijim wow you talk about getting knocked smooth out but did we need round one do we need
three hours that was my question that finale was three hours long I was like are you kidding me
I mean the only thing about it though I thought that the the Clay Clay Guida fight was amazing
I think eventually that's one thing and I'll say the same thing about WWE tough enough all these
guys eventually latch on somewhere yeah I mean that's just these contests yeah it's great
in its instant job but sometimes the loose figure salad yeah sometimes the losers of these
competitions come back hungry and hungry or and they end up better fighters so but MMA in New York
what do you got on that well it's got to go to is they're not saying that it's going to be able to
reach the legislative floor before they break for summer which really kind of frustrates Dana White
and I kind of I don't know if you read that full article that you sent me yes apparently Dana White
puts 60 grand as a donation to governor Cuomo's election campaign and then all of a sudden
he doesn't put the MMA language which but remember Dana you can't get mad at that this is not a
paper play situation don't go back yourself into a corner here you have C-131 in Vancouver coming
up this Saturday night of course we just said that there will be drug testing by the Vancouver
Athletic Commission through the Kate Canadian Center for Ethics in Sport that is true I'm on board

run the board MMA WWE whatever test these guys I think if you test them you'll have less of
these tragedies we hear so much about with these guys these context sports that's just my opinion

be reporting last week Lesnar having a read hash I guess you can call it or a resurgence of his
diver taking a lightest has part of his colon removed and in doing so cannot fight they actually
showed that at the end of the episode before the finale of him calling Dana White letting him know
what happened so instead of Brock Lesnar it will be the great Shane Carwin taking on junior
dos Santos and here's a little stat for you between these two guys there are 22 first round victories
and 12 knockouts so a fight that might not go long and the winner of this fight gets Kane
Velasquez later in the year so this is this is actually a fight where there is going to be something
on the line you've got some other great great great fights on this card of course your undercard
will be on spike TV at eight o'clock Eastern you'll also have some of those that they won't show
on spike in case they start to run a little bit behind on the card they'll show those in between
fights just to kind of keep things caught up what you have seen must be getting now though they're
actually are showing those fights on Facebook again huh I just don't know if that's a good idea
it's it's more oh Damon Maya is fighting on this card he'll be on the paper review also

well now it's come to light that Bill Stewart was paying a a reporter in the West Virginia area
there to dig up dirt on the head coach in waiting there at West Virginia really this thing this
thing broke Monday afternoon Oliver Lutt West Virginia athletic director says he is taking the
matter in private and I don't know I think Bill Stewart was a guy he felt like he's a West Virginia
alumni the team's done well under him he thinks they're trying to push him out the door they
probably are Bill Stewart not a young man um but I I can understand both sides of the deal
because I think Bill thinks he can coach and I think Dana Hogerson's kind of brought in
to look over his shoulder and the next year Bill Stewart doesn't have a job regardless dirt or
not yeah of course earlier this month Dana later last month Dana Hogerson detained in a West
Virginia casino for nude behaviors you heard about that yeah um is the head coach in waiting we
saw it Texas it didn't happen as Will much chance goes to Florida good runs good runs and uh we see
we welcome him sir yes we see these different situations at major colleges where he's a head
coach in waiting we're named a head coach in waiting and I want your opinion I'll give you mine
is that a good idea for major division one programs to name a head coach in waiting when really the
coach there is is fine I will give you two sides of that coin the first side of that coin you've
actually already talked about Texas with Will much champ did not work out but you know you name a
coach in waiting and then you pay the coach you have for another seven years you got to expect
that's going to happen for you the other side of that coin is the rival of the team that Will
much champ coaches for and that would be for a state adversity where Jimbo Fisher held on long enough
so I mean I just it's it's to me that's a case by case base I am personally not a fan of the
coach in waiting to me I'll break it down how I feel about it please do to me a head coach in waiting
is like a girlfriend or boyfriend and wait we've kind of we've all done it guys girls if

dating that girl or I'm dating that guy whatever what have you and I just think that's a weird
situation because the head coach of that feel comfortable I'm not saying Dagger Hoagerson deserves
the job or doesn't deserve the job I will always say that I am I'll watch a team I'm not going to
ruin the college show down the road I'm going to keep a very keen eye on Gainesville this year I just
don't know year one and I'll I say you could have put him in Georgia you could have put him in
Texas you could have put him in at Florida which he landed Bama OU you name a team I want to see
how Will much champ handles first year head coach never been head coach before how he handles
that monster down in Gainesville that is University of Florida just like could he handle Texas
could he handle Georgia could he handle Notre Dame you know yeah I think a head coach in waiting

in favor of the players wasn't attendance I think we're getting very close to this field getting
done I think the pressure is on you have to have it done before July 19th because training camp
allegedly got canceled training camp everybody put it in their home stadium fans get in free
you don't need the money of revenue for training camp yep I think that's the best way to do it
they better do something man because there's some people I'm a Saturday guy I love the NFL I like

football would do I think we have our opinion what they would do if the lockout canceled the season
I we talked about it on the show I'm a sound mind and sound belief that you would see college I
mean NFL college football played on Sundays absolutely and Mondays and Thursdays yep they play Thursday
now but even in more games you have more high you had more high profile exactly I think the lockout
gets done I think the players they don't have a leg anymore what I think and you may just
renew the current deal that's it right but as that being said certain media outlets have leaked
to Yahoo which is this rumors also been shot down this this rumors also been shot down by the league
but the NFL was already tinkering with an eight game season that would kick off on Thanksgiving day
so a full slate of games on Thanksgiving day that that was a possibility let me ask you this
if you win the Super Bowl on an eight game season is that a tainted Super Bowl
I don't know I don't know what else you do I do you have a Super Bowl you have to have
already you make it already you make it one big tournament I'm all you know me I love the
concept of the tournament you know but but if you win a championship on an eight game season it
just does it my deal is why are we going to start it on Thanksgiving day
that that I was like because apparently there's not enough going on in our life well we couldn't we
couldn't start it Thanksgiving weekend or maybe the weekend before yeah why don't we have to do

the teams are there in is why does it seem like every time these teams play the media makes it like
it's game seven of the world series and the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox the hot stove
because it's marketable those two teams I like the whether you like them or hate them they're
the two most marketable teams in major league baseball have been for years are probably always
will be so whenever something comes up between them involving them it's always going to make
sports center it's always going to be on the front page of Yahoo Sports it's just the way things
are I just kind of jump in there when I see that go I mean come on man it's it's June yeah you
want to kind of get you want to go on the our star break one or two three to four games up but not

sports top 10 sports dynasties in my opinion my these lists are purely purely speculation but this
is one that I think is a pretty decent a conversation piece top 10 sports tight dynasties as usual
we'll go 10 down the one always two number 10 to me a probably one of my first memories in life
of be of really seeing sports dominance uh 1995 I mean 92 to 95 Dallas Cowboys as they went
three Super Bowls in four years of course search stars Troy Ackman Emmett Smith Michael Irwin all
Hall of Famers and a huge part of her ruining yes this town run this town I think you know Dallas
had one since seventy seven seventy eight at that point that time Roger Stallback was quarterback
last time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl at that point in time um I watch America's game and they
list the greatest Super Bowl teams ever 92 Cowboys number eight I'll be honest with you I'm not saying
they could beat the 72 dolphins I'm not saying they could beat the 89 49ers but the 92 Cowboys to me
was top five NFL team of all time not gonna debate that with that you know what's amazing
yeah if you got if you didn't if we got some younger listeners tonight you didn't get to see
that team live you need to you need to get on YouTube and check out some stuff dominant dominant
dominant football teams number nine the Oakland athletics remember the eight HBO did a special
about yes they did I love the HBO source doctor so the Oakland Day 72 I mean excuse me 72 to 75
is they win three straight world series that sounds nuts of course catfish hunter and pitcher on
that team they were seeing the movie Jack the Bear with uh with absolutely they needed to be though
they they center a lot of stuff around Oakland athletics baseball but that that was a HBO special
about the baseball in Oakland in the seventies just how always with a canary yellow and green Oak
town maybe number eight the New York Islanders 1979 to 1982 the last professional sports
franchise to win four championships in a row that's for four four row
yeah the New York Island Wow the New Yorkers think about that 79 to 79 to 82 four straight cups
so hockey there's a lot of hockey teams you notice on this list number seven lost
anglers lakers from 79 to 89 eight finals of parents in five titles of course magic Johnson
showtime showtime showtime with the lakers them and the great battles with the Celtics
of course the pistons um beat Dallas two years in a row in the western conference finals
but lost to a bad Houston team in 81 in the western conference finals a larger ones rookie year
which did they turn around and lost in five to the Boston Celtics um number 60 Edmonton
oilers 983 through 90 as they win five Stanley cups in seven years hey great 30 on 30 called
a Kings Ransom yes when Edmonton traded Gretzky to L.A. the L.A. Kings that was directed by Peter
Berger that would run down that was the very first one 30 on 30 that was was that the first
one very sure very first one without biased was the second one really because yeah that was
the first one I watched that Kings Ransom Edmonton of course Mark Messier I mean you name
a guy former always a fan of message yeah former stars GM what was his name the guy we all

there's another team in this Miami of course you never hear about a dolphin dynasty that's
always thought that was strange well because we just wanted that what had that one Bob Gaining is
are you think of gaining yes thank you Bob Gaining uh but here's the thing about the seven the dolphins
in the 70s we had that one year that we won the Super Bowl at the feet of the year beat Minnesota in one
yeah the Super Bowl but then we are but yeah well the Dallas beats Miami for their first ring
yeah in 71 and then Miami decided after 71 Super Bowl we're not going to win a lose a freaking game
the following year number four the Montreal Canadian's 1956 1965 straight Stanley Cups and that
pretty much started Montreal becoming a household name in the in call in in hockey yeah that that
era that big group of cups five cups just imagine that five straight titles now this is where
your points of contention come in these final three yeah this third one loved it loved I can
name you a lot of players on on both of these these teams I'll pose a question to you and the

Chicago Bulls 91 to 96 I've been I've been in the belief that that's one of the most dominant
dynasties we've seen in the history of sport you have the greatest player in the history all they

if Jordan retires do the Houston Rockets ever win an NBA title
that was for you yeah boy five cups I'm just getting irritated by that point buddy I'm just

culture winning culture of winning there in New York 11 titles 13 years buddy that's a
Johnson but the Celtics Celtics yeah I'm just going back but almost 1 a 1 b so let the arguments
begin 1 a 1 b New York Yankees of course you start the era with Joe DiMaggio and you in the era
with Mickey Mantle mix in their Bruce record gets broken by Roger Maris in this time I believe
sounds alright I mean whitey Ford Yogi Barra wins every single title in that span Yogi Barra has
won for every finger during this span of these years a ton of Hall of Famers to me when I look at
this right here these bottom two this is the foundation of these teams legacies in their respective
leagues yeah this is the foundation of the New York baseball monster and this is why people say
the Boston Celtics are one of those five or six teams in here should the NBA that are a legacy team
we can go down the list Cowboys legacy Oakland I'll get throw them out the Islanders that it's been a while
Lakers Euler Steelers Canadians bulls Celtics Yankees these are the beginning of these dynasties
that's a list that is the list let me back to you things back to me which I have a new and free
