and the year of our Lord 2015. It is season 5, episode 47 chronologically
number 306. That many times, I have spoken into a microphone to say the clubhouse
is live and on the air. We welcome each and every one of you, no matter how

listen, we're just glad you're here. Welcome. My name is Rob and five years ago
today, I was preparing for what would come the next day. We're going to talk
about why here in just a moment. But let's introduce you to the other players in
the room because if I did this by myself, man that would be boring and we've
already done that. We're not doing that again. Joining me across the desk is
he tends to do is my co-host and a man that's got a lot of catching up to do
and I'll probably do most of it over the next two hours. He is Chad. Welcome, sir.

Happy birthday to your dad who turns 70 today. The Calvinator. Yes, he is
actually older than me. I know that shot a lot of evil,
con evil of his generation. But happy birthday, Calvin. Hope it's a great day
for you. It's a beautiful day outside. It's a little hot, but it's alright. It's
July. It's supposed to be. When a July birthday, you kind of get
gallows. If Chad is sitting at the 10 o'clock position, we go to the 12 o'clock
position to a man that joins us for the first time in a long time. A dear friend
of the show and a guy that I got to have some quality hangout time with this
past week at the celebration known to many morals as Ragnarok. He is Clay
Harrison. Welcome back, sir. Thank you for having me. It's good to have you
here. I had a really good time last week. I don't think everybody that came out
to the Alamo draft house. Yeah, it was fantastic. Also joining us is the
official fact checker of this show and the man that may have the coolest
t-shirt in the room. You may know him as fond don go. But his mama named him
Don Ford. I'm gonna call him Don Ford. Welcome, sir. It's an awesome shirt. It was an

in the chat room. You guys got a Russ. All right. Who I got to watch his
vacation video this past week. Poor guy. He had to spend some time in New
Orleans. Got to see Mercy mean while he was there. It's a really nice
vacation video. Great. So go ahead. Speaking of birthdays and Calvin and all
that, someone just had a birthday and I got a present for it. It was me. I had a
birthday while we were on vacation. And I remember listening back into
shows and I remember something that you kind of said something you really,
really like. So, all right. Let me say. I know this is the exact ones, but speaking
of Cal. Oh, I got some my new. I'm rebuilding my Calvin and Hobbs collection.
I mean, you said I think the authoritative one and I think that's the one that
you want. That's the big one. Yeah, that's that I think that's it right there.
Oh, no, the one I was talking about is the one the big two volume. I didn't know
that. Yeah. But that's no, this is good enough. This is good. Because if you
don't want that for me, I'd have been like, okay, you need to make sure that you
get some money back because that's expensive. Yeah, that's some crazy cash. But
after I watch, have you watched your Mr. Waterson yet, Clay? Yes, I loved it.
After watching it, it just reinvigorated my love for Calvin and Hobbs. So now I
can start back and reading it. I saw a tortilla. That's the one. But I'm
happy birthday to you, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you very much. I just remember
those little things. I appreciate that. It's a happy birthday. Thank you very
much. We start every show with corrections. I would have to listen back to our

Today, actually, no, it was yesterday was the race. Oh, I hit the wrong button. We
had the Quaker State 400 presented by advanced auto parts. Wouldn't the Quaker
State 400 be brought to you by Quaker State? You would think. I don't know,
maybe it's just me, but we did have that race yesterday. Your top 10
finishers are as follows, starting in 13th place and finishing in 10th. Kurt Bush in
the number 41 Chevrolet. Six times six times six times six times six times six times
spring cup champion, Jimmy Johnson finishes ninth starting in sixth place and the
number 48 Chevrolet. Also in the number four Chevrolet, starting in 15th, finishing
in eighth is Kevin Harvick. Jeff Gordon in the number three Chevrolet starts in
third finishes in seventh in sixth place and the number two Ford Chad's favorite
driver, starting in second place, follows the sixth Brad keselowski. Matt Kenzif in
the number 20 Toyota starts in 16th finishes in fifth in fourth place, starting in
20th, finishing in fourth is in the night number 19 Toyota Carle Backflip Edwards.
The bronze medal starting in eighth place goes to Denny Hamlin in the number 11
Toyota Joey Logano finishes in the silver medal position from fourth to first in the
number 22 Ford and winning the race starting in ninth place and finishing in first in the
number 18 Toyota Kyle Bush. Didn't even do those commercials anymore today. Is that a
lost reference? Yes, done. Okay, fair enough. We'll go to your driver's standings. We're
getting very, very close. We are less than eight weeks from the chase, sir. This season
has flown by maybe because I don't watch any races, but it's blown by. Right now
you're odd man out. It's Paul Menard and yes, his family does own that that chain of hardware
stores. Casey Kane and Denny Hamlin switch places from 11 to 12. Jeff Gordon intent. Matt
Kenzif in ninth Kurt Bush in eighth. Brad keselowski and Jamie McMurray switch places
between seven and six. Martin Truex Jr. in fifth. Notice whose name we did not say
is a top 10 finisher this week. No, number 88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. Oh, okay, okay. He drops
two slots to number four as Joey Logano jumps one and six times six times six times six times
six times six times spring cup champion Jimmy Johnson shoots in the second place. He is
now 68 points behind Kevin Harvick who still holds on to that first place. But again,
as long as you finish in that top 13, you're doing okay. It's just because all the points
reset. Right. Your next race comes up next Sunday, July the 19th at 130 Eastern on the NBC
SN because as we talked about two weeks ago, some form of NBC has every race for the rest
of the year. I guess ESPN is just bailed. They figure, you know, by the time baseball
starts to die down football fires up anyway. So we're okay. Yeah. And it will be the new
Hampshire 301 oddly enough live from the new Hampshire motor speedway. Doesn't that take
up like a third of the state knew it? Yeah. New Hampshire's like the size of my house.
I'll say it's the size of your front lawn. Oh, then you've got and then you've got an
interesting race after that. But we'll talk about that next week. Anything we need to add
any any NASCAR headlines you gentlemen are aware of? He asks them knowingly. What's NASCAR?
Pretty much what I was looking for. It's a little go kart race. All right. Let's get it
because we've got a lot to talk about tonight because for those of you that live in a cave,
this was San Diego Comic Con weekend. So from a pop culture standpoint, we have a ton of stuff
to talk about. So let's get into some TV talk because we are your one stop shop for all
things sports entertainment. Interesting news for people of Chad's ilk. I don't know if any
because Chad, you may be the only person in the room. This first story affects as I'm trying
to talk as much as I can until this song kicks in because there's a really long intro. There it goes.
Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child will be playing a lot. Is it Lion? Playing his mom and Empire?
Lion? L-Y-O-N or is it Leon? I'm not even sure what character that is. It just was reported
this week. She's joining the cast of Empire for season two. Okay. I like Kelly Rowland to me. She's
my favorite of the three Destiny's Child ladies. She earned a little bit of credibility for me whenever
she did Freddie versus Jason. I forgot she was in that. When she wasn't just Beyonce's backup. I'm
like, okay, she can do other things. She's got some good solo stuff, sir. Well, but I'm not a fan
of that particular creator. Yes, she is. Was it she the one that was or was it Michelle Williams? Which
one was engaged to a Dallas Cowboy at one point? Yes, Kelly. Okay. All right.
Interesting news for people of my ilk that have been waiting for this thing to happen.
Twin Peaks has now been pushed back to 2017. I'm okay with that. I think it's because things got
hosed up for so long that they didn't want to rush it. And besides, how long should you really
need to listen to David Lynch outside of being the bartender on the Cleveland show?
You know that was him, right? Really? I don't really was. I'm worth. I'm waiting because it's him.
I'll wait for him and they had contract problems. So since I had contract problems, I'll wait
as long as it's him doing it. Not somebody else. Yeah. But I still think it's weird that you've got
wore a pomer in it. Why? Because I thought we kind of wrapped that whole thing up.
Yeah, but it's kind of a weird world. Let him play with his toys and tell us his story.
More people talking backwards and things of that nature.
More dwarfs, please. Yes. In the lovely. As we know, Fox is jumping on the live musical bandwagon
that NBC seems to be on for these last couple of years. They are doing Greece.
A young man featured on Graceland and was in the film version of Les Mis,
like I by the name of Aaron Tivett, the TVIT is how you spell that. He's going to play Danny Zucco,
which I looked him up. I mean, when you're joining Vanessa Hudgens and Kiki Palmer, Kiki.
If you watch the soup, you get that rush. I just turned into Taraji Pants over here.
I get it. They're casting this much younger because let's all be honest. You go back and watch
Greece. You're like, why are these high school people in their 30s? But you could say the same
thing about every spider band film too. But somebody said that recently and I went, you know what?
Until I was now at that time, 41, I'm 42 now, but I was like, why did it take me so long to ask
that question myself? I guess because when I was what? Four or five when Greece came out?
Okay, so that's the question you asked. The flying car at the end is not weird, but why are
these old people in high school? But I didn't ask that question until somebody brought it up to me
recently. I always want to believe that the flying car was the first appearance of Lola from
Sheel or Christine. Oh, there you go. I don't think Christine ever flew. Lola flies. I was pissed off
the Christian for loading. Come on. Great Scott. And then it's credits roll.
Marty, we're at a different high school. But you know, I mean, it's going to get ratings because
you put Vanessa Hudgens in something. Kids know who she is. Yeah. Some for the wrong reasons if
we remember her story. But, you know, and then you've got a reality star in KK in there too.
So I'm telling you they're going to hurt yourself. I'm telling you that clip of the soup always
kills me. So I don't know when they're planning on airing this thing. I will make sure that my
DVR is not set for this. So you can't wait not to watch because you know my hatred for Greece as
it stands now. I didn't realize that it was as much as I was. I can't stand it. And it wasn't
hatred for Greece until right about 15 years ago. I hosted karaoke for 16 years.
Like the mere presence of summer nights makes me want to beat somebody with a stick. Like I heard
it so much and people calling it by the wrong name. Summer loving. Yeah. I just I hate that song.
And it's in that musical. So it's guilty by association. The only good thing about that movie right
now to me is that Sean on I was in it. And I'm a big Sean on I fan outside of that. I got a big
bag of nothing. That's that's the one good thing. It's got to be. I did I had to when I was a kid. I
had to soundtrack a vinyl. That was a double album. So. Yep. We had two copies in my house. Don't
ask me why dear. That's unfortunate. We had two copies of Santa. Speaking of unfortunate.
And I'm trying to wrap my brain around this. The CW was picking up a new one-hour drama that was
originally at Fox Fox dropped it. You heard me say one hour drama, right? Yeah. Called Riverdale.
Drama. Archie in the gang. Drama. Yes. And I agree with Russ. Sean on I had a TV show and I love
that show. I have Sean on super silly songs on vinyl right behind Clay right now. We won't tell
him. I'm afraid of it. I think they're doing some interesting things over at Archie Comics. They
they've redone the look. They've toyed with different ideas. They've had Archie you know with
zombies. They've you know well friend of the show Brent Peoples did an Archie cover that he did
a great job on that by the way. Yeah. So you know I'll give it a chance. I mean honestly to me Riverdale
is like 90210. It's just it's like one of those teen drama kind of shows. And so that's what I
expect when I see it. You did get a play you did get a tweet from someone about your Lola reference
by the way. Oh hey now. At Cam Sickle. Ah Cam. Hello. Yeah. So I wanted to make sure that they
recognize your Lola reference. Yes. I love giving out nerd crap. So ready for season three.
Oh I am. I am because of secret warriors but other than that I that's probably my least favorite
comic book show. And I only watch it when I have free time. I mean that's still the bars not
set that low for that being your least favorite. There's a lot out there. We've seen worse like what
misfits of science. I like misfits of science. Okay wait a minute. The discussion we had when I got
here was your love for heroes. Do you know who created misfits of science? I know. I know but still
by my current standards it doesn't hold up. Give me some young Courtney Cox and I'm happy. Okay
it's a fair point. Make sure Courtney is in that sentence. I just I don't know about the Archie's
as a drama. That's just weird. That's like I'm really trying to soldier through this. That's
like Freddie versus Jason is a comedy. But it was. Yeah. Yeah. It isn't so bad but
I think we've raised friends Freddie versus Jason than any more times in one time now than anyone
in the history of podcasting. Chad always needs help. You destroyed him sir. We just started sir.
We just started. We just lost a will. I was not expecting that. I'm this glad I wasn't drinking
water. That's a fair point. We would have been taking a bath. HBO after three episodes has
renewed the Dwayne the Rock Johnson Rob Cordray vehicle known as ballers. I am now caught up after
three episodes. It remind because Mark Wahlberg's name is attached to this. I'm making way too
many parallels to entourage where every episode ends with there's just darkness right around the
corner. It's very formulaic to me but I got to support Rocky. You know I feel like Dwayne needs my
support. I've been with them since the beginning. Not a fan. I like it. But I'll tell you what's
interesting. I heard an interesting story this week that apparently they don't have express written
permission from the NFL. Which is why if you if you watched it was an episode two when the agent
flew to Dallas to talk to the Dallas coach. The Cowboys logo you could see but the NFL
shield on his on his on his shirt sleeve was kind of blurry. So I wonder if that's how they got
around it. So can you buy the rights to use a team logo and not the NFL logo. That's what it looks
like to me. But they don't they don't show them all that much like like Peter Berg had the dolphins
T shirt and the dolphins visor. But that's right. But if you watched in the very first episode when Rocky
was having the flashback in the dream. There was nothing on the helmets. It was the colors of the
teams but you couldn't see anything on the helmets for the bills or the dolphins. I think the
biggest hurdle for this show is trying to sympathize with professional athletes that have a ton of
money and make mistakes and he gets them out of you know beating up somebody or all the other
trouble that you see in the NFL. Like you can't sympathize with these people. It's pretty realistic
where you got these people that we chop him like his best friend. I like that angle. You've got
the kid that's got the 12 person on to rise and he's trying to pull him out of the rock. You
know if you read his book the story he went through even in the Canadian football league of
you know my career is dead here. He plays that role perfect because he went through it in real life
trying to get in with the CFL. Oh no. Apparently though I'm getting a text from
front of the show Brian Burr and my buddy back home. The rock has explained they can use any logo
in the NFL as long as they show something that would actually happen with that logo including the
NFL. But apparently Gidele says that they don't have an agreement. So you know Roger.
This Roger's not making enough money. So then there's this and Clay I don't know if you saw
that if caught this this weekend. AMC has released the trailer for a prequel series to the
Omen called Damien. And I don't think I don't think it's a prequel. I haven't seen it because it's
Damien. I guess he's college age. Who does this appeal to? I mean because that's a 70s film.
But here's my thing. How many people do you know that watch Bates Motel and it's going into season
what three or four? I watched the first season. That was it. I'm done. I can't just but A&E is doing
this and I've seen the trailer and I'm like eh it may be the greatest idea since psycho too.
But here's the thing. A&E doesn't need it. A&E does not need the ratings like ABC or NBC.
NBC wants an eight rating. If A&E gets a three rating they're probably happy.
Well A&E is also like the walking dead. So anything else is pretty much gravy anyway.
Have you watched comic book men? I guess the only thing I don't know is that I like that show
is for some of the cool stuff on it. Even though I know it doesn't belong to those people because
it's completely scripted. But you know because Nishel Nichols just doesn't walk into your comic book
store. You know like but I do like some of the cool stuff they show on that show but outside of
that. But you know the trailers obviously going to going to appeal to somebody but it's just
it's one of those deals where it's like it's it's almost like it takes place between omens two
and three. Yeah I'd say that's what I have to do. There wasn't three when he ran for president.
That's when when it was he was played by Sam Neal. Yeah. So he wasn't he wasn't running for
president. He was kind of like the power behind the throne kind of thing. Okay. He was manipulating
the president from behind the throne. We have been told for once upon a time in their new season
Merlin and Gwenevere will be involved. It's hard for me to believe they're only in season three.
Yeah. I feel like it's been on a lot longer. Well I mean when you have 24 episodes you got a lot
of time to fill up. So you introduce everything you can. I've heard good things but I just have
no desire to watch it. I love Jane Espenson. I love her as a writer. I'd love all the stuff she
does but I can't watch this show man. I just can't get into it. I watched the first season
fell asleep in the final episode of season one when they had a dragon. So it's like how boy can you
be? Wow. Yeah. If you are a dragon fan. I was just bored. So I love to play this clip over.
Over? Do you say over? Nothing is over until we decide it is. Was it over when the Germans bombed
Pearl Harbor? How now? They're getting these rolling. Okay. I decided to play that part of it.
Of the Alison Brie says in an interesting interview this week that season the next season for
for community probably not going to happen but the movie is out there. I've heard that from Joel
McCale and Dan Harmon even said that Yahoo when they approached him about this season said that they
wanted a movie immediately after the season finished. Okay. So I'm you know me. I love community.
As do I. I mean. Even though I haven't watched any Yahoo episodes and that's just because I'm lazy
but I love community. I love that. I think you'll love it. I think you'll love this final season.
There's some great stuff and probably the two best episodes or the email hacking episode and
the modern espionage. Oh dear. I did. I told Chad about this. I don't know if he's actually gone
outdoors. That the episode where they do the David Fincher episode where they everything was a
David Fincher reference where there was always raining and it was black and white. You remember that
from the last episode last season NBC they did a David Fincher episode and it opens with
Allison Bree standing in the rain and black and white. I'm like okay I know where we're going
with this now. I need I need to see this. It's so wonderful. But it's it's so obscure that unless
you're really a deep fan of pop culture like it will go right by you but I know you would totally
get it. I don't remember that and I've watched I've watched it. I've been watched that show like
at least six or seven times. I want to see it was right before Thanksgiving. I want to say
of that season what to look it up. All right boys take a deep breath because we now get into our
television San Diego Comic Conunk. Oh oh. Elodie Young has been cast as a lecturer for season two
of Daredevil. I'm in. I mean the first season of Daredevil sold me. I mean that shows like it's
really fantastic. I mean I just haven't had a 12-hour block to binge it. My worry is we know
Punisher's in there. We know. Electra's going to be in there. How much stuff are we going to
put in? Well I like how they're saying that Punisher's supposed to be the villain. Yeah and that's
on board with. Yeah I'm on board and that's a great that's a great character to add in there.
And I love seeing you know who they cast. Shane. Yeah I know it's like I'm losing his
burn fault. Yes. Do people call him to come back when he leaves? Yes. Because he was fantastic
Wolf of Wall Street. You know he can do other stuff. Everyone just knows him as Shane. So I give him
a huge degree of latitude because really there's only been a few other people that have played the
Punisher. And Bray Stevenson was my favorite. So you can have Punisher Warzone. Yeah it's really good.
So good. Yeah. You're the only one that really got it right. Yeah.
Yeah. I'm sorry Cameron Monahan has said his appearance on Gotham. This is not a red hearing.
His character will become the Joker. And this show close race for my least favorite comic book show.
It's they've got a lot of work to do in season two. Oh my God. That thing was dull. That first half
that first half of the first season I was really on board with. But when you give away the ending
of your season finale and the trailer for the season finale you have a problem. The the pros
to the show the things that are really working are Alfred. I mean every really on board with him.
Oh my God. He's so fantastic. We just don't need to see young Bruce as much as we do.
I love young Catwoman for some reason. I like everything she's in. We kind of see this like
underworld that she's gotten into. And I liked her at the beginning but she just got on my freaking
hair. I still think it was a little too early to bring her in. It was like they wanted to
bring everybody in at one time. Yeah. It's like you need to space this out a little bit more.
I love what they're doing with Nigma. Yeah. I do like that. But again a show that I watched all
season long got to the season finale and fell asleep during the season finale. You think that
you had every right to that and I'm old. So Neil McDonough. It will play Damian Dark on Arrow.
I'm a big Neil McDonough fan. So I'm in good. I'm good. Ted Sears who you may know from
Masters of Sex which premieres as season three premier tonight. He's going to play Jay Garrick
and a Chantel Vonsentin. It's going to play Patty Spivitt in season two of the Flash. And that
was what I was trying to watch. They just released the trailer for season two of the Flash and
my phone is shit. And what I'm sorry. I forget that you are family. You are a family show and I
am not a family person. Um Legends of Tomorrow in a route. I'm in. I think they need cautiously in.
Okay. Okay. Give me. I'll give you all the pros. You give me what or just go ahead and give me
cons because I'm on board with that show because everything that I don't like is probably just
summed up in the atom. But they need to work on that character. This is going to be a tough team to
sell. But I said the same thing about Guardians. White Canary makes me sad. Why? I wanted to
stay dead. I wanted. I wanted her memory to stay where it was. And I love Katie lots. Don't get
me wrong. She's so good. But she's good. But I wish because when they announced I was like this
kind of screws up continuity. And then I saw what they were doing. And I was like, but are they
slaves to continuity? If you tell a great story, do you care if it's a great arrow story or if
it's a great black Canary story or. Well, before they before I find out how they were bringing her in,
I was like, you can't cross this over. Did you? You're really going to screw this up? Did you
honestly just assume that comic books and continuity are a viable? Well, Brian. Brian singer does not
pay attention to continuity. And he seems to be doing okay. Nobody does. But when you kill a character
and you bring that actor back, it was kind of crossing the streams. And then I found out what they
were doing with her. And I was like, okay, but she was great in that role. She did. And they really
screwed up by let her die and let. And I'm just not a fan of the existing black. And I'd like to
give this week's how you do an award to miss Rickards. If you saw how she was adoring for the
arrow panel last night. Oh, yes. She gets to how you do an award of a week. Me like you. Wow.
Thank you, Felicity. Agent Carter season two. We were told we'll pick up six months after the end
of season one. So you're good. Probably see the changes starting to happen with shield. I liked it.
I love it. I love that show. That show is so fantastic. I think now are they going to get a full
season? Are we going to do the same thing we did this year? You know what? I don't know what the
why they're so scared to do a give her a full season. Hey, bump into Netflix if you don't like it.
I mean, bring it to Netflix. I totally enjoyed that show. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, but she is a great
actress. She is so fun. She's embraced the fans and those stories are fantastic. I mean,
yeah, she's telling a story, you know, that of long ago and she's, you know, giving a little bit
of backstory for existing Marvel Cinematic Universe. But you know what? How many female superheroes do we
have? How many have their own shows? And she's about to hit number two with Supergirl. And you know
what? And the theme of her show is so fantastic. I know my worth. That is so good. And so good. And I
like that strong female character that you just know her is just an awesome badass. But you know what?
You don't even have to say female. She's a strong character. I mean, just the fact that she's female
makes it even better for me because you get to have a strong female character that girls can look up
to on television. Oh, exactly. I mean, the thing that's weird about this is I look forward to a Chad
Michael Murray show. And you forget that too. Yeah. Yeah. Because I'm like, really? Chad Michael
Murray's on this show. I really like this show that Chad Michael Murray's in. Agents of
Shield season three is going to have lash as a character that was announced this weekend.
I just man, the last half of season two is rough for me outside of the episode that set up
Age of Ultron. I would be on board with just killing everyone on the show except for
Age of Colson and May. But you got I want to keep fits and
I you get to keep one pick one crap. That that would be the one I'd keep. And then and
Gemma just because she's good looking. Yeah. Okay. So you have not very strong character. Simmons is
the really Simmons is I love them. And speaking we talked about Supergirl a minute ago. Peter
Fascinelli joining the cast of Supergirl as Maxwell Lord. I watched the TV spot yesterday.
There's just something about this brand with the CBS logo on it that just worries me. CBS is
I don't know. It's typically like your CSI and your which is which is very short for this world too.
Yeah, but I mean, it's been on for so long. Their demographic is typically older. And you
saw what CSI is going to have. I won two hour episode in September and that's the ballgame.
Okay. And but you still got CSI side. I'll I'll let my show our cat just wear some. I'll let my
grandmother know. Hey, I watched that show. Oh, wow. Something else I thought you would be
interested in, sir. Steven Amel Emily Bette Rickards of Carlos Valdez. I think that's the name
and Grant Gustin will lend their voices to a Vixen animated series. Yeah. And I watch the trailer
for this and it's not branded CW. It's CW something else. It's under the logo. And it's like, is
this just going to be like a web series? What are you giving me? Or is it there like their CW kids?
No. No. Yeah. Pull it up and take a look at the show because it is not traditional CW. And
you know what? That sucks because if it's going to be in that world, put it in that lineup because
if I'm going to watch Arrow, I'll watch Vixen right after it. Yeah. If I'm going to watch the
flash, I'll watch Vixen right after it. Throw it in there because we should put those two shows
back to back though. And that's separate nights. Well, you know, because they want that would be a
home run. So why not spread it out and get two nights of really great ratings. And apparently,
it was announced that Duff Beer is about to be a thing. They're starting their test marketing
it overseas. There are rumors of them bringing it stateside maybe next year. It can't be good.
It's not supposed to be. I would think the point of Duff Beer for it to be horrible beer from
the Simpson. Yes. Yeah. Because you can get it at the Universal Park in Orlando, can't you? Yeah.
Because you know what I was there and I don't remember seeing it because they do have most
tavern in the Simpson's deal in Springfield. Oh my gosh. I can't. I must have blocked it out because
I can't. I went to all the Simpson's stuff, but I don't remember seeing most. You've got to
can around here somewhere. Well, Brian's still listening. I know he's he's lives down that way.
So maybe he can tell us if there's one out out there. Yeah. Or Mike might goes down there. Oh,

on and do POI at this point. POI stands for person of interest. It is a segment we do on this show
where we take a person or an entity and we debate their greatness or lack thereof. And I think we have
a very first in the history of the show tonight, sir, because you don't have it and I don't have it.
We've given away the list before. I don't know that we've ever given away POI. Yeah, we have.
Have we? Yeah. I think we've given it away too. Who's about to take this? Well, Don's God. I've never
done the POI. I've done a list. I did the list one time. I don't think we've ever given away POI.
I think we have, but I would have to go. So Don, we're going to go live to you to talk about what POI
is this week. This week is one of my favorite restaurant chains is Chick-fil-A. And for some
of the empires, I'm leery about talking about Chick-fil-A today because it's going to make me hungry
for Chick-fil-A and I can't go eat it right now. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. But in some states,
they don't even have any like a Montana. They don't have. There are many states that do not have
Chick-fil-A and I feel bad for those states. But speaking of that is when you're starting to, you know,
expand the company and go to different locations, they have to open the restaurant, of course,
and they have an opening. That's true. When they open the restaurant, it's every Thursday at 6 a.m.
It's not every Thursday, but every restaurant has opened on 8 a.m. at 6 a.m. Okay. Thanks for the
correction. Thank you. Well, the thing that they do that makes it so special is for the first
hundred customers that come in for the opening at the Chick-fil-A, you get Chick-fil-A for a year.
You get the first 50 people, right? First 100. First 100. Yeah.
The first 100 customers get a card that gives you 52 free Chick-fil-A. Yeah, let's be
clear on that. You don't just like get to walk to any Chick-fil-A like 19 times a day for a year.
You get 52 number one meals, which is the one a week. Oh, you can do as many as you want. You
can do some all one day if you want. But I'm saying you get 52 period. 52 period. It's not like
you have your own black card where you can walk in anywhere and just eat Chick-fil-A whenever you want.
Yeah, you get 52 free number one. You can use them as often as you want. And it used to be
coupons, but now they're doing it like a debit card. Yeah, because when I was at one opening,
the guy showed me a card. He showed me two cards and said, tell me what twins fake and you cannot
tell. Oh, really? That's right. They're going to that card now. They'll swipe card and stuff.
Wow. Okay. The reason we bring this up is you have done quite a few of these. I've done
12 of them. Now you can only show up 24 hours in advance, right? Well, what happens is they open
at 6 a.m. on a Thursday. They start the line at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. So 24 hours in
advance. Yeah. So get there by 5.30. If you get there the day before that, they don't care.
The line doesn't count and they count the number of people there at Wednesday at 6 a.m.
Now, if there's less than 100 people, they're eligible. They have to be at 18 and they're above. Okay.
So teenagers don't count in their little kids. And you can come and be their guest for the day
if you're chosen. So if there's less than 100 at that time, then let's say there's 80, all 80 people
are on Mac. We have to stay the whole 24 hours in the parking lot. You can't. And if I'm not
mistaken, they actually feed you. Oh, they feed you all day. Yeah, I'll go through the
end and you get unlimited beverages. But there's more than 100 people at Wednesday at 6 a.m.
They'll do a drawing. Okay. If there's 120, they draw the. Okay. So it's not like it doesn't matter
how long you were there, but it's 6 a.m. They draw 100 names and those 100 people. There's less
than 100 at that time than everybody's in, but there's more than 100. They do a drawing. So
you just get to like 5.30 or whatever. Fair enough. And so then if you're chosen,
you've got some paperwork and then you have to stay in the parking lot the whole 24 hours. If you
leave the alternates, we'll take your spot and they'll kick you out. That seems unfortunate.
But they give you a breakfast. Usually it's the biscuit with the chicken. Then at lunch,
they give you the honey chicken biscuits. The chicken, the chicken breakfast biscuit.
Those are so good. Then they usually give you chips and strips at lunch and then they give you
the full like number one or grilled or the number one combo at dinner. Plus they give you ice cream
or cookies and milk and stuff at like 10 p.m. They have tea and water and coffee all out there
for you all day. They let you go and use the restroom as much as you want. But you just cannot
leave there. But they feed you and they have activities all day. And now I've done 12 of these things.
And I've seen people... You've done 12 of these. 12. And I have no one guy who's done over 70 of them.
Wow. 70. Okay. Now, you know, when it opens at 6, they hand you the little card. They shake your
hand and you're on the way. And that's it. So it's a fun community time. You want to pack your
tent. You learn to bring games and everything else in case you are picked. But if you are picked,
it's a real family friendly atmosphere. They have a DJ come in at night from about six to nine.
Lots of games for the kids. You want to meet a lot of people. You get to meet a lot of people
that you've seen before. It's like a small community event, you know. You can type out and stuff
in that the end. You get 52 free number one combos. But the cards only get for one year. So you
have to use them within that year. Okay. Fair enough. So right now I probably have about 60 of them
right now. Okay. Number one combo is very generous with them by the way. I never told you
that you would agree with me on that. Absolutely. I've never turned you guys anyone down and said,
hey, you want to go ahead. You know, for me, it's a fun time to do. It's just fun camping out,
meeting with people, playing games. We have experienced campouts of different sources as well.
Is there a lot of, do you experience anybody ridiculing the people that are out there or
is this? Are people fairly well behaved when they drive by and see all the people out there?
Most people when they drive by, they're like, what's going on?
That brings them attention. Yeah. And the problem is that some people think, hey, it's opening
up Thursday and I'll show up at Thursday and be one of the first hundreds. Like, no,
this started yesterday. I apologize. But because you have to go through website and really
understand rules, you have to be there the day before. But you'll get some people, some
Nimrod who'll drive by. I love clock and night and honk us horn. I'm trying to wake everybody up.
But it's, but it's not the most part. Yeah. It's not like people are just curious and they
tense getting rocks. People taking pictures because it's like 10th city in that parking lot.
You've seen some pictures before. You know, but it's it's a good community kind of time and
everything. I think it's a pretty cool deal. I'm not sure that I could do it just because
I've gotten to the point in my life where I'm not a fan of sleeping outdoors
or being out late and not being at home. Yeah, you get some real pros. Bring some big tents and
everything of generators and everything like that. So they let you use generators on the lot.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Just as long as you don't break the fire code and the fire
martian usually comes by. But I've done it where it's up to 108. And I've done it where the days
high got up to 38. You know, so I've had some extreme weather issues doing these things. But
if it's a nice day, just like the one we did on recently on Northwest Highway there.
Uh-huh. That was a perfect day. I don't know. You used to drive by that every day?
Yeah. I would drive that way anymore. But yeah, I know what you're talking about.
And another thing is like they'll tell me when they open one light in Georgia or the
Carolinas where people know about it, there's like four or people there on that Wednesday.
You know, because they're based in Atlanta. But then they'll tell me with the open one,
I can Idaho. And no one knows about it. And at Wednesday at eight o'clock, there's, I mean,
Thursday at eight o'clock, there's eight people there. And so like the next 92 customers actually come
in and just order, they go, by the way, here you go. They're like, what's this? Because in a lot
of places, new places, they don't know about it. So actually, people will come in after they open.
And there's not only eight of them have been taken and go, by the way, here's a, you know, you're
just wow. So, you know, we've all got the fruits from my labor on this, which I
glad to share. But it, you know, it's, it's a good program. You know, lots of free food.
Also, this Tuesday, if you go to any Chick-fil-A, you dress like a cow, they'll give you a free meal.
I get that every Tuesday. Just this Tuesday. Any questions for this gentleman that you might
have on your mind about the way this thing works? I think it's, you don't see a lot of companies
do things like this for the people that are, that are there. It's, it's, it's nice.
I know most goes kind of the same thing. Like when you know the cracker barrel.
A cracker belt is the same thing? If you're the first person in line at the, at the opening
of a cracker barrel, you've got free food for life. Oh, do you? Wow. Yes. I know that. Yeah.
Can I imagine how far in advance people are at that joint? Second in line, you get free food for
a year. That's what my mom got when the one in Mesquite opened. Oh, and you know, I'm a big fan of
the cracker barrel. But for the, you got to look at the restaurant. It's like they have trainers
that come in at travel. That's how they do is do these open. Oh, yeah. And a lot of companies do that.
It's good for the restaurant because they got a free run of trying to get ready and make sure
they're, you know, equipment's working and they're getting that flow of trying to get the food out
and everything like that. So kudos to them. You know, it's something good. If you got the time off,
check their website because it lists all the future openings and show up if you're interested.

So tomorrow night will be the home run derby and Tuesday night will be the all-star game.

deafening. So let's talk about your current standings in major league baseball in the American
League East. The Boston Red Sox, five games below 500 and still in last place. They are six and a half
out. They are two games behind the Toronto, sometimes Blue J, sometimes not, who are a half game
behind Baltimore. Baltimore is a half game behind Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is three and a half back on
the Yankees. So apparently it's two thousand all over again. In the American League Central,
the Chicago White Sox also four games below 500, but unlike Boston, they're 11 games back.
They're tied with Cleveland for the seller. They are both two games behind the Detroit Tigers,
Detroit, four and a half back on Minnesota, Minnesota, four and a half back on the Kansas City Royals.
By the way, in their last 10 games are eight and two. I remember a time two years ago when we were
like, excuse me, high school could beat the Kansas City Royals. And I think they only have three
starters in the also game instead of eight. So I think that I think the voting finally balanced out.
In the West, the Oakland Athletics, nine games below 500, they are eight games back. They are a
game and a half behind Seattle. Seattle is a game and a half behind your Texas Rangers struggling
as of late, sir. Yes. Three and seven in their last 10. They you realize that they have a losing
record at home. There's no idea. There's 16 and 25 out there at the ballpark.
And there's six games above 500 on the road. I wish they could get out of their own way. But we
have a tie for first place right now with the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Angels of
Anaheim at Los Angeles County, California, America, North America, Earth, Milky Way. Man,
it's getting hard and hard to say. But you talk about a turnaround. It's amazing what happens when
you change leaks Houston. How last year they were they were part of America's favorite game show
and now they're tied for lead and division. In the in the National League West, the Colorado
Rockies continuing to suck as they are 38 and 49. They're 11 back. San Diego is a game ahead of them.
They are by our three games behind Arizona. Arizona is two and a half back on San Francisco.
And Misty's beloved Dodgers have a four and a half game lead on San Francisco in the Central
Division, Milawakay, the conflict of interest in Major League Baseball. How can you be the son
or how can you be the daughter of the commissioner and only team who can't seem to find their way out
of the cellar? That just seems odd to me. As if they say to the top of the league, they probably
have a bigger spotlight show. There are 13 games below 500. There you go. 18 and a half back. Although
there's seven and three in their last 10 real quick, the games go through today. The the
Hummer Derby starts tomorrow and then the game is Tuesdays. Yeah. Milawakay is a two and a half
back on Cincinnati. Cincinnati is seven and a half back on the Cubs. The Cubs five behind Pittsburgh,
Don's beloved Pittsburgh Pirates. When the Pirates are three and a half back on, John Anderson's
beloved St. Louis Cardinals. So you're in the thick of it, sir. Yeah, but after the break,
that's when you usually plummet like the Rangers. And in the only league that only division that
matters, the National League East, we're going to skip what's going on with the Phillies because we've
got to play America's favorite game show. My beloved Miami Marlins are 11 back. They are three and a
half back behind my beloved Braves. The Braves are four and a half back on the hated Mets and the
Mets are two back on the Washington Nattinals right now. All right, gentlemen, it is time for America's
favorite game show. As we all know it as what is the run differential for the Philadelphia Phillies?

minus 100. He's not close. Minus 158. Oh wow. Is where the Phillies are right now or they last
week. Like 27 or so. Two was two weeks ago and they were in the 120's. I believe if I remember
correctly. 158. Minus 158. It's not even an all-star break. No, it's all it is. Yeah, after
today, they know it's, but I mean, think about it at this rate, they could be at like 300,
which might give them the all-time record. You never know. What do you think about it? They've

shop in LA where she and her friend are licking donuts and then she says that she hates America
and she hates Americans. GTFO. I think she and Bieber could just get on a boat and set sail.
And apparently, isn't she from here? Like, isn't she an American? She has to release a statement
the next day saying how she was talking about how much she hates that she has a childhood obesity
as a cause that she's taken up is like, you're a moron. You wear kitty cat ears all the time and
that makes me want to punch you. Even though I'm not an advocate for that, but it just makes me angry.

This is based on a true story from the 70s.
Where it's that Stanford University.
And what they did is they did a,
like it's basically a,
is it, was you call it sociological?

So they took a group of students.
And they made half of them prisoners
and half of them prison guards in a mock experiment.
And it was a two weeks or something.
24 male students out of 75 were selected to take
on a randomly assigned roles of prisoners and guards
in a mock prison situated in the basement
of the Stanford psychology building.
Billy crewed ups in this.
Ezra Miller's in this.
Ty Sheridan's in this.
That trailer is, because it goes,
it goes completely awry.
Yeah.
It goes completely awry.
Yeah.
Everything here, I think they thought
was going to happen.
Goes off the rails.
And it gets a lot more serious than they planned on it.
The guard, the guys paying the guards
start acting like real prison guards
and mistreating the inmates.
And they're like, we need to pull the plug
and Kudrip goes, no, I want to see how this plays out.

The thing I hope the most on this is that
when this comes out on DVD, we get a documentary
with it that shows that it goes into the real thing.
I remembered hearing about this years and years and years ago.
And I saw that I have the trailers app on my phone

getting the Criterion Collection treatment,
as well as Hiroshima, Monomore, and here is your life.
They've been cranking out stuff every week
for like the last two years.
But it really seems like they're kind of
watering down the brand name to me.
I've heard that opinion.
There's some of this up they put out that Travolta movie.

So they actually did look who's talking again.
They skipped the first one and they did it.

Guardians was a huge risk.

I'm a huge fan of Guardians.

But the fact that they did Guardians at all,
it was a ballsy move.

So God, it was as good as it was.
So maybe the marketing for that is justified.
But the advertisement you'll see for Star Wars
is that how much do you think that you should spend
on advertising for something like that?
In some cases, I get that.
It does sell itself on a certain level.
But you've got to have the tie-ins.
That's where you're going to make a tenure.
Because your markup there is going to be bigger.

The toys and the books and the comic books.

Now, all these people that are clamoring about all these movies
and making all this money, Jurassic World, blah, blah, blah.

You know, he made Star Trek sexy, which no one's ever
been able to say in the history of ever.
And it's so funny.
All those years later, the after you and I
walked out of that screening of Star Trek, I'm like, just
imagine if they gave a guy like that.
He said those words as we walked out of the IMAX theater.
But I want to point out his red shirt, which I'll explain.
His love of Lucas and Spielberg, if you also go back and look
at Super 8, Super 8 was what he wanted.
It was his Spielberg film.
Yeah, it was his ET more.
And that just was a very bad imitation.
I haven't seen Super 8.
It's a very bad imitation.
And that's my concern is that he does that again.
But hopefully he's learned from that.
And, you know, I think a lot of our questions are going
to be answered when that new trailer hits.
It's going to take the whole movie.
Yeah, I mean, and then we'll probably
take multiple viewings of the trailer.
Trailers are great, and they build anticipation.
But they also ruin things like the Terminator Genesis, does.

This man was an icon of is of our age.
Well, because he's no longer with us.

And he passed away yesterday, due to a bile duct growth
for which he'd been previously treated.
This is shocking a lot of people.
I mean, this is huge news.
They'd already announced that he wasn't going to make E3,
because he's always a fixture at E3.
He's always a fixture at Comic Con.
So he missed E3.
He was to say nothing of Comic Con.
And it's really taken the gaming world
by just completely a back.
I'm having trouble coming up with words for it.
Well, he's brought it to where it is today.
I mean, to have the kind of shows
and having the kind of launches we have,
it is because of what he built.
And he's got a very charismatic presence
that his previous, his predecessor really didn't have.
And you can go on about like, well,
it's really more about Microsoft versus Sony in this.
No, no, no.
PlayStation was such a major player back in the day.
People don't understand how important Nintendo is
in the gaming world.
Well, you know why the PlayStation exists
in the first place, right?
Because Nintendo, they approached Nintendo
for a CD-ROM drive.
Did you see that someone recently found one of their...

Someone like a Super NES CD.
Yeah, so it exists in somebody found one.
There was really 200 made in this guy found one
in his parents attic.
And it's a CD drive and you can see the Super Nintendo
connector for the controller, right?
And there's two of them.

No, but the gaming world has lost an icon.
Absolutely, yeah.
It's really sad.
I was watching one of the shows that I watched
Halt and Catch Fire, weeks, two weeks ago's episode.
The main characters, kids were at another kid's house
and they had an Nintendo.
And as they were talking, it was in Los House.
And as they were talking, I could,
you could hear Super Mario Brothers in the background.
And there's just something so soothing about...
And I was just like, that makes me so happy.
Incidentally, he created the have him team up
with everyone else in that show.
And run that like, I don't know, kind of a weird mashup
of good and evil versus the world.
Yeah, is that what's just going to turn into?
Well, the trailer, they didn't do a...
They did a new trailer, but they added no new content.
And I'm kind of bummed about it,
but it looks great because they're taking...
They took stuff straight off the page and brought it in.
So it's like, you're seeing everything from the page,

with the characters, who's gonna play them?

There's a couple of characters I'd love to see, D.C. Touch,
just to really blow their mind.

For me, D.C.'s doing everything right on TV
that Marvel isn't.
They're really not every show I love and it's different.
And that's what's so fantastic about it.
CWC'd is like their digital online stuff.
So Vixen will be available online.
Animated, you know, this one I'm kind of concerned with,
but all the people who do the shows
are gonna be there doing their voices.
So that's great.
I love to see that and I hate to see people
trying to do poor imitations of those actors.

We're gonna have to really kind of mess with this
when the show's over, so very upset about this.
All right, we end every show with a list.
Tonight is no different, but it kind of is
because this is the last show of season five.
Tomorrow, five years ago, Cody Hawkins and I sat
in this very room in a completely different configuration.
And we tried something out as an idea that Chad and I had
a few months earlier.
All the stuff that we sit around and talk about,
like why shouldn't we put this on wax?
And my thought process was, who the heck would listen to that?
We would listen to it because this is what we do,
but who would actually listen to this crap?
It is now five years later.
Not only are we still doing this, but it's still going.
It's more than I ever dreamed it could be.
So what I thought we'd do is I just
picked 10 of my favorite memories from the last five years,
and we can kind of add to that as well.
Number 10, almost a year ago, this show lost one
of its biggest proponents, one of its biggest fans
and one of my closest friends by the name of Chris Coronado.
We did a memorial show for him the next week
with a couple of guys that we're good friends with
and fans of the show.
That is one of my favorite shows we've ever done.
We need to get them back in here too.
We almost lost that show and it freaked me out
because I audacity decided that night
it didn't want to behave itself.
Number nine, our first phone interview that we ever did,
Cody and I did with a minor league baseball coach
out in West Texas, who at the time had Jose
Canseco on his team.
We missed having Jose on the show by like five minutes.
He actually was going to do the show.
Really?
I came home from work early.
I didn't even know how to wire a phone into the board.
You know, I had to Google that to figure out
how to make it work.
And it was, it was a really neat,
I won't be able to replay that sometime.
Number eight, episode three, the very first ladies wrestling
round table was before we were live on Ustream.
We weren't live on Ustream until episode five.
You can actually get our first three or four episodes
at the website for the library of Congress.
That is where we stored it.
We stored the show there.
Nice.
And it was, it was just something I thought on my message.

I wonder what Congress is so screwed up.
Yeah, you know, they heard that and went,
well, this is America, we got this easy.
That first ladies wrestling round table, it was me and Cody,
Charlotte, Tanya, and Misty.
We had two microphones.
It was an absolute mess.
But we had so much fun.
Two weeks later, we decided to go live on Ustream with it.
The rest is history there.
We've had, of course, all three of them
at different points back on the show.
Charlotte is the Justin Timberlake of this show
because she could call me right now
and still make sure she got on.
Tanya, we don't get to see as much anymore.
She's got family things going on.
Her oldest just had a birthday.
Alice's birthday was this past week.
Misty did some marketing for us for a while.
Love her to death, which we could have her on more often.
She said she's good to go, just let her know when.
So we're gonna have her on very soon.
Number seven, Don joining the show.
That was a...
I don't know how it happened, it just happened.
It just happened, it was a Fox and Hound thing.
He's done a lot of great work.
A lot of the things that we're able to do with this show,
we could not do without him
or would not have been able to do without him.
His persistence is something that is unmatched
in this life.
Sometimes we gotta reel him in a little bit.
Oh yeah.
But you do a great job, sir.
That's why you are a highlight of us joining the show.
And I appreciate you guys adding me in.
Number six, November of 2012, in 2011,
was when Chad officially joined the show,
was right before Thanksgiving.
Cody had wanted to move on to some other projects.
And Chad, without even thinking about it,
was like, I'll be there Sunday,
or actually we were on Tuesdays back there.
So Tuesdays are Saturdays.
The show started on Tuesday, then went to Saturday
and then went to Sunday.
Just right on it, never missed a beat.
And has been able to help me out with a lot of things.
And I could not be more thankful.
Number five, the first live show,
we referenced it a couple of minutes ago.
Episode five, it was the very first Sunday in August.
It was also the Sunday before we did
our summer slam pre-show,
because I was out of town that weekend.
So we pre-taped it, released it to you stream
on the day of the pay-per-view.
That was nerve-racking.
Because I don't even think we were using music back then.
Oh, I can't remember when the music started.
But I just remember just,
it was completely nerve-racking.
I'm like, this is happening live right now.
Like right now, this is happening.
It's actually the live aspect of the show,
I think is what sets it apart from a lot of shows,
that people get pre-recorded or whatever,
because it goes out.
It goes out the way it shows.
We're not, we don't, we very rarely edit.
I'm not gonna say we never edit,
because there have been times where we had to edit.
It's because of me.
No, mainly because...
There's been a couple of the iTunes that we had,
drunkards.
Although this year, we just had to put an explicit tag
on that show, because there was so much language.
I'm like, it would take me three days to edit this.
And that was the night of the dip
when something else happened,
and we're gonna talk about a little bit later.
Number four, Elimination Chamber 2011.
That was our first show at Fox and Hound,
who are still friends of ours.
We still love them to death.
We haven't been able to do the show there
in a little over a year,
because they're still trying to get their system upgrades.
But we have nothing but love for the people
from Fox and Hound and Richardson, Texas.
They have been nothing but wonderful to us over the years.
We're looking forward, maybe someday,
of going back there again.
But that first live show, I remember,
because it was listed as Elimination Chamber
on their signage.
And again, we didn't know what the heck we were doing.
Yeah.
You know, Cody and I had never been out of this room.
I was there from here.
You know, and we were just like,
this is either gonna be great,
or this is going to be an absolute disaster.
How was there for the second show on?
And there was like five people, and then when this day ended.
The first show, the first pay-per-view they did
was the month before we were there.
They had three people of them,
three people, two of them didn't drink.
Yeah.
We went in for Elimination Chamber.
We had 30 people,
and most of our empire drinks for various reasons.
By WrestleMania, we filled that place out.
Oh, yeah.
You know, and I remember our second WrestleMania in 2012,
there were 300 people in that building.
We filled up all three rooms.
You had to get there two hours early.
Yeah.
And it was so much fun.
And it broke my heart for us to not be able to do the show there.
But I understand why,
and they're really trying to get a fix.
And as soon as they do, they're gonna let us know.
Number three, we mentioned them earlier in the show,
Christopher Miller and Phil Lloyd.
Phil Lord, April 18th.
Oh, a day which will live in Infra-Medis.
30 minutes of radio gold.
And the best part about that was when everybody was coming
to us after the show going,
you guys totally missed it.
And we're like, no, we didn't.
Because they sang Islands in the stream on our show
before they went over there in second for you guys.
We haven't recorded.
I have to admit something when I got them on.
You know, I try to keep the flow going and stuff.
They took 30 minutes.
Yeah, they did.
About 20 minutes in, I'm thinking,
are we spending too much time with them?
Because the difficulty get mad because they want other people on.
But I just like, no.
They just rolled.
It was just like, there was nothing we could do
even if they wanted to.
And it turned into 30 minutes of podcast brilliance.
Because it was genuinely funny.
It was genuinely off the cuff.
Chicken nuggets.
You've heard, you heard Chad and I completely speechless.
For both of us to be speechless at the same time
is a rarity.
That show did it.
Number two, John Landis.
Like, John Landis is the bar right now.
Yeah.
The fact, the number one that Don pulled that off.
Yeah, it was, it was tough.
But I, number two, we had no warning.
None.
It was like, we're talking to, we're talking to Miller and Lord.
And I look up and dead center between them.
There's John Landis with a pair of headphones on.
And I'm like, here's a question.

And I was like, oh, he called, he called Miller and Lloyd
Abbott and Costello.

And he named and accessed like 104 times referring to us.
That's what I thought too.
When I sent Miller down first, you guys didn't even
know he was.
And he's going to go, let go.
And then he, yeah, when you write down, I was like, oh,
that's who this is.
And that's why they don't need a sheet.
And for those of you that don't know the post script
to that story, their screening of the Lego movie
was the next morning at 11 o'clock.
I cannot tell you how many people call me and go, dude,
they were so hungover.
I'm like, yeah, you think we saw him the night before.
But that moment with all three has to, that's at the bar.
I can't.
That picture is, my wife got one of those digital picture
frames, that picture's in there.
It is nobody can say picture it didn't happen because it
happened.
And we have photographs that prove it in audio.
We've had so many great business partners over the years
that still want to do business with us for some reason.
You know, our friends had allied.
Susan Jacobs gave us, I want to do a list on that.

AT&T, Performing Arts Center.

have let us do things that we wouldn't have been
able to do otherwise.
You know, it blows my mind.
But once we get on, we love us because we're something

And we're going to keep doing it.

You know, we're not selling it.

You know, we're 10 episodes away, by the way, sir.
There is someone who is a fan of the show.
I don't want to mention any names, but his initials are bar
wire.

The Empire in general has been so great to us.

That was your first, that was your first screening.
Our first screening was the grand master.
Yeah, that's the only one to make it.
Almost two years ago, it'll be two years ago next month.
And that was without like just going in this press was
incredible.
But number two, the first death.
Yes.
And that first night after the premier screening and being
under the sky and all that with the pretzels, but just doing
that death and how wonderful that I love the death.
I look forward to the death, even after the death and the
video fest are so much fun.
And number number three is the first video fest, because we
learned so much.
The video fest was the first one.
Yeah, the first one of the video fest.
Two years ago, that was we were like, what are we doing here?
But we got into a groove.
And now we're just we're in a groove now.
But we learned so much from the first video fest when you
really, you look at the first video fest versus what we're
doing now.
It is night and day, but it was an incredible experience.
Just in where the first podcasts were both of those.
Yes, we are.
And you only one person can say they were first.
And that's how we were the first podcasters to ever do a show
from the Dallas video fest.
We were the first podcasters to ever do a show from the Dallas
International Film Festival.
That's a cool thing.
And they love us.
And they love us.
That's a cool, cool thing.
Chad, anything.
Just echoing what you two guys have said, just seeing how far
we've come in the last five years, five years, sir, and a decade
and and seeing how quickly it's grown over the last year and a
half, two years, how it's just taken this quantum leap forward.
And I can only imagine what the road ahead of us is going to
and I'm still working on stuff right now.
It's robbed is aware of.
It's good news.
Yeah.
Andrew Clay, I just appreciate you all giving me the opportunity
