We are glad you are here. My name is Rob and it feels like forever since we did one of these normal, not special edition episodes. So maybe I am going to be a little rusty.

By the last time we did one, no more than that. It was the week before WWE payback. So it has been a while.

Chad is out on assignment today and by that we mean he is hanging out with his dad so happy father's day to all of you father's out there, whether you are a biological father or a mentor or a stepfather or anything in between. You are appreciated on this day and every day. So filling in for Chad tonight is the official fact checker of this show.

And a man who is probably about as mellow as I am right now after the last seven days. He has, you may know it was fun, don't go, but his mom and even don't want to call him don't for the welcome sir. Thank you.

I got to give a shout out to my stepdad Ron and my dad both of you guys. Happy father's day. Love you both.

I think I give 20 seconds to my dad on this though. Sure. I was born to share in Wyoming.

He was born to share in Wyoming. And after my grandmother passed, he said, I'll probably never go back to her again. Well, they set this concert up out of the blue and shared Wyoming this last weekend.

Huge festival. If all places in sharing with like Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Rodgers band, so you're brand the whole thing. Oh wow.

So he flies out on Tuesday to see my sister Montana to go down Wyoming. And he missed Toby Keith last night because someone on the plane gave him a cold. I call him this morning and I said, hey, happy father's day.

That's Rodgers got the cold and he missed half the he goes halfway across the country to see the thing and he gets sick. So somebody on the plane gave him a bug. So dad, I feel for you.

Happy father's day anyways. Poor guy. It's all right.

We still saw him on the show and saw the family. So absolutely. Happy father's day.

All right. We start every show with corrections. So let's go there.

Didn't see anything last week that really, I couldn't have seen anything. I didn't hear anything that would have given me pause. Nothing really.

That'd be a great way to enjoy Father's Day. That's what I'm saying. So we're going to go straight to driver results in the odd man-out situation right now, Denny Hamlin, 164 points out of first place.

Paul Minard drops to 12, Kurt Boosh rises to 11, may switch spots. Jeff Gordon staying steady and 10th. He's about 13 points or so behind Casey Kane who drops one, that Ken's with switches places with him.

Jamie McMurray wasn't he had a bunch of Disney films in the 70s? That's Frederick Murray. Nevermind.

Okay. He is in seventh place. That's like an old doctor do little.

He's got his 16 points ahead of Brad Kezelowski. Jimmy Johnson. Five times six times six times six times six times six times six times six times spring cup champion.

He drops to the fifth. Both Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Joey Lagano bump up so they are fourth and third respectively.

Your top two stay the same as Martin Truex Jr. is 15 points behind 10 Harvick right now. Just 15.

Okay. And we're right about the halfway. Yeah.

So your next race will be next Sunday as we go to Sonoma, which I believe is in California. Yeah. That's where the wine country is.

The Toyota Save Mart 350. Well, it's better than you know, it's some of the other things they've had for sure. We should probably go over some of the races that we miss talking about.

Yeah. We have the Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte. We have the FedEx 400 benefiting autism speaks at Dover, Coltado.

The exalta we paint winners for 100. Okay. Last week was the quick and loans for 100.

Yeah. We get a car alone. Great place.

Yeah. And then next week by the next week's race starting at three o'clock eastern will be on box sports one. Okay.

And then we go to the NBC family of networks for the all the way up until the chase. And what was the chase start roughly? The chase will start on September the 20th.

And that's just like the top 10 isn't in the chase. Actually, after next week, NBC has every race for the rest of the season between NBC proper and NBC SN. Okay.

So they're going to hold gamut now. They really are. Maybe they're splitting the season between the two networks.

Is ESPN just getting out of the game? I don't know. Because always think of Fox or ESPN on the NASCAR and everything, you know, like CBS is known for the March madness, you know, and Fox has always been known for the NASCAR and football.

Yeah. Well, they split that. But that was their kind of deal was as always on Fox.

But. And us. All right.

Let's get into some TV talk not much to talk about this week. Okay. Only one real headline.

But it's an interesting one. Netflix really starting to up their game when it comes to television series. Yeah.

Where they're doing the deal where they're basically releasing all of the seasons at one time. Now, there will be a show next year. I don't have the name of it on me.

But they're actually doing their first episodic week by week series next year. Oh, so it's going to be like a week week thing. I said releasing them all at the same time.

But this, the specific series we're talking about is called the ranch. Coming up later this year. It's about a semi-pro football player who returns to run his family, ranch with his brother.

Now, you give that pitch and you're like, OK, I can see that whatever. I said that on TMT, but yeah, it's the stars of this that are the intriguing part. As two members of that 70 show reunite, Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher.

So they're going to do reunite them. So hide and Kelso. Okay.

They're going to be bad. They're going to be back together. And I'm a big fan of Danny Masterson.

He's very underrated. But in fact, she had a they got, uh, I did watch the first season of the, which is that one, the plague thing or whatever of the virus strain, the strain. Yeah, that one's coming next month, but, you know, they just ended just a fight, and they just ended, you know, a sense of anarchy.

Garret's it's all that's been a while now. Yeah, yeah, a couple months. But now they're, you know, just trying to reopen get something different.

I don't know if they should end it since a banarchy. Well, FX has also ended the bridge of the court. Yeah, that I tried the first season.

Can you finish it? Shouldn't get into it. I can think I watched about five of them and that was it.

And speaking of television, uh, yeah. Father's day today, the, uh, the fur balls instructed my wife to go to Walmart and get me season four of Game of Thrones on Blue Right. Oh, did they?

So there's the very thankful for that. So Jasper and Tuflus actually paid off for once, huh? They did.

They all, they pay off in regular dividends. They're just not in their own state of defense. Yeah, but, uh, and got, got some, uh, got some pajama shorts from my wife, which I desperately need.

All I have is pajama pants and living in Dallas in June and July, having pajama pants is a bad idea. Well, you know, Tuflus has up money now from starting inside out at the very end. You know, a lot of people say that and I haven't seen it.

Check. I don't know if he sees just hiding the money or what it's going on here. How dare you to.

Little over a year ago, little thing called the W.W. network. Our first way onto the scene.

Perfect. Been in subscribers since day one. Although they're, their records might reflect differently.

And let me give everybody a little tip out there. If you have to change your, uh, your debit card that you have it on, yeah. You had to, they had to cancel you and then reactivate you.

It's weird. Okay. It's very strange.

Hi. I want to work on that W.W. But my, my, my, my thought with this process this week, my thought process this week was After raw and Monday night, they did their tribute to dusty roads.

Which we're going to talk about here in a little while. All right. Why do they have to schedule those things?

Because once they air, you can watch them any time you want. Probably just to get people to watch the network and say, hey, we're having this at this time. This is something new.

But anytime after that, I understand. You can watch it. Why not just make the whole thing on demand?

Well, it's still going to be on demand right after it airs. But what I'm saying is, my, I guess my question is, what's the better business model for this? The way they're doing it now.

Let it all happen anyway. Or we're going to premiere this tonight after raw, but you won't be able to watch it on demand for a week. Because if you're going to do it, I mean, if you want to work at like a regular network, where you schedule stuff that runs.

Because you can just basically set the network up, let it run, and you'll be, you'll get constant streaming programming 24.7. Yeah. So the question is, Russ is saying he doesn't hear anything, but I'm getting, oh.

Well, you can tell how Russ, the, for some reason, didn't start recording. Hopefully, Russ, you can hear me now. Wow.

The back to POI. Yes. We are talking POI right now.

We're talking about the WWE network network in the fact that you can schedule that they have a schedule. I mean, I get the fact that they want to be like, they want to treat it like it's a network. I understand.

But it's not. You know, it's, it's not like I have to go to the guide on my, on my Uverse. And go, hey, when is, when are they showing the ultimate warrior documentary?

I just go on there right now. I want to do warrior documentary. You know, it kind of takes away from the urgency.

Even someone like NXT, I can go watch every NXT episode that they've ever aired right now. But when it was, when does the new one come out? When is the United Seven?

So I could kind of see that. Here's when it comes out the new one. In case you want to see it, right, when it comes.

But for me, it takes a lot of the specialness if that's a word away from it. But I will say this on the other hand, you look at all these other networks. You name it from Fox to CBS to HBO to Showtime.

Game of Thrones, for instance, after that episode on Sunday night aired, it was on on demand the next day. Right, but that's actually on demand right after it airs. But you're talking to different, actually three different platforms.

Because you're talking live on HBO versus HBO go versus HBO now. This is all within the same environment. That's where the, that's where the oddness comes in for me.

As if I was in the corporate offices there on the network side of WWE, I would probably do something like that because you wanted to available in case somebody can see the first half hour. It's there ready to go. So they don't miss out.

And I can see I can see your point too, but me as a business person, you know, you want to keep the people you want to have the stuff available as soon as possible for them. Yeah, I get that, but I guess I don't know. It's a, it's a double a short.

There's good points on each side. The CD the way you want that specialness. Hey, wait a week.

We might show it two or three times to make it special. Then the next week it's on, but then some viewers are going to want it. Hey, I can't see it at that time or that time.

I can't DVR it. So hey, I want, I want to available soon as it's done because I still want to see that on my own time. I would be interested to see the numbers of people that watch stuff as the network streams alive versus it's going to looking at on the archive.

And they probably have these people in the corporate offices who look at that stuff and say, hey, we're getting good numbers here. We might just want to do what we're doing. Because a lot of things that a lot of stats that they're showing now, if they're calling plus two and plus three years, if you hear that terminology, what that means is, if it's a plus two, that means this number of households, DVR did and watched it within two days of air.

Okay. Plus and the plus two and the plus three are the main things that most most networks watch for. All right, and what's have if I DVR and I watch it like six days later, all of that, those numbers they really don't look at.

I don't think okay, because they're looking at more of the people who... So they know when you watch it, too. It's it's tracked through your cable system.

Okay, I didn't know that. Big brother. What?

You got nothing to hide, you got nothing to worry about. Exactly. So.

Yeah, I understand. It's just interesting to me. I would like to, I would be interested to find out of the people that we know that have the WWE network.

How often do you watch stuff as they quote unquote air it live? Here's my big right still on the WWE. I do not have it.

I would love to have it. But the only way I could watch it right now, because without spending a ton of extra money, is on your phone. Is on my phone, or I'm on my computer.

Mm-hmm. I have it locked up now, where I got the apps on my blue ray player, where I could get Netflix and the whole kit and Commodore. And if I could get WWE, that's the same way like I get Netflix.

I would order it in a heartbeat. And I'm sure I'm not sure why they're not doing that. That's my big league.

There's only certain like Samsung, I think, is the only manufacturer they're doing it for TVs and right now. No, I got it. I got a Samsung and the EVD player and TV, and it still doesn't fit.

Not there. No. I thought Samsung was being released.

It still haven't done that yet. They said they're going to work on it or get it on it. And that's a big market.

They're missing out on it. They're missing out on my 10 bucks a month. Well, maybe that's an email you need to send.

Say, hey, you guys that was supposed to happen last summer. Yeah. What's going on?

Exactly. Because I do it through my Xbox One. Yeah.

We're not having that Xbox. Or, I mean, you could get a Roku and do it that way. Yeah, and the Roku is really not that expensive.

Yeah, but still I'm going to spend them on just for that one thing. Plus, you know, it's like I already have the blue ray. I already have that.

If you make that possible, where I could watch it like Netflix and everything, where I can watch my big TV, because I already have the Wi-Fi connector and all that. Ah, who knows? You heard the man.

All right, let us move on and you are last NBA update for a few months. Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors winning the NBA championship this past week. Muzzle top to them.

If for her summer, what, 40 some years? Someone like that. Only only team and major league sports to have a name like that, where you're named after the state nickname.

And all major sports. And all four majors think about it. Everything's all either a city or a state, but on the state nickname.

And you know, a lot of people had them from from Jump Street. Yeah, you were kind of sitting at front them when, you know, they had the injuries and stuff. They got a little issue if he but then Cleveland had issues too with injury.

And my whole thing with Cleveland is I just didn't want them to get it this year. You know, I wanted that a rust as first time in 40 years. But I thought a rust yesterday.

Yesterday was his birthday. That's a birthday rust. He came out and saw the band cool being performed yesterday.

The entire event got cut a little short due to some rain. But we had some good time. I don't tell you the whole story about that.

I got off air. But we talked about Cleveland. I just, I wanted it like when he came to Miami, they did.

They made the finals the first year. They didn't win it and then they won the other two. I'd rather have it that way.

You know, just he made the finals. He went to next year. You'd be happy.

I did fine with it. I'd have been fine with it this year. But I'm more fine with it.

Not getting it this year. Did they make a, we're getting word right now from Yahoo. The Dallas police have sent a crowd controlled to a massive fight downtown.

Let me check on that. Wow, but you know, I got to meet the finals four times. Didn't they Miami?

Because once they get the lost skin stals, they won the two. Right, I'm talking about with LeBron. Okay, that's why I thought it was four times.

But I could be wrong with LeBron. Okay, all right. So I mean, it's, I, I don't think that Cleveland should have anything to be upset about.

Because even LeBron said in the beginning, like, don't expect to play off this year. Don't expect this year. It's your right now.

We've got to build this thing. But he mixed it to the finals. And they made the finals.

And they, they played very well. There are a lot of people down the talk is will he opt out along with Kevin Love? Can we just let the guy just play basketball, please?

Just let go, you know, let me do a thing next year. You know, Cleveland should be happy that they got what they got this year. Yeah, I mean, you made the finals exactly.

I mean, you know, Dallas with a championship that one year, but there's a year that year we made it. We didn't, you know, first time they didn't make it. I guess I mean, yeah.

So I mean, you got to give it to him, you know? And the clippers unveiled a new logo. Did you see that this week?

No, I did not. Oh dear. I mean, the clippers, yeah, they want to separate themselves from the whole Donald Serving thing as much as possible.

But I don't know that this logo is the one that's going to do it. Is it bad? It looks like something from double dribble on the original Nintendo.

Oh, buddy of mine put the logo on my Facebook page. It made it look like a Pac-Man maze. I'm like, yep, that's about right.

It's a logo. Then we, I'm, I'm pulling it up. Yeah, one second, I only clippers now.

That's what I had to say about that. What's your idea is that it looks like in, um, it's none of those. Type in new clippers logo as your search.

Okay. That's what we're waiting for down to do that. Sorry.

It's all right. You weren't prepared for this. You guys have to remember Don's doing all this through his phone.

He is a, he's an iPhone wizard that won't write in the middle at the top. That's the new clippers logo. Looks like a rip off of the cubs from baseball.

A lot of people have said that as well. Oh, Lord. But Steve Baumard doing what he can to distance himself from the history of the clippers.

I, it's weird, but I'm kind of okay with it at the same time, you know. I mean, I really can care less honestly. Yeah.

Man, it wasn't logo. It's better than the new dolphin's logo. But that's still being.

Okay. Here's my question We're a little bit ahead. Let's go back to the thing about the Comic Con there If you weren't paramount would you Would you go to that thing this year it depends on what they're promoting?

I mean if they've got no no major releases that they're promoting But still it's I know it's a big deal. It's a big deal, but It may be one of those deals where I like look do we want to spend all this money if we don't really have anything to promote The thing about San Diego is it's so big it's it's gotten out of control now if you're like let's say paramount Do they how much do you think they have to pay you didn't have a spot there or like it probably close to seven digits Just like to say you know you've been in where they have those like you know areas where the vendors aren't stuff like that And you know the studio isn't everything like that so I mean, but paramount even for that I think I think it's a mistake I understand it and maybe Comic Con's gonna go okay we're losing this much All these vendors and stuff from coming in we're losing three four million dollars because these you know marvellous pull-in-out paramount Me we may want to rethink this thing You know what I'm saying, but you know because what talks money I agree when they lose four million dollars They're gonna go hey we lost you know two three four million dollars that's gonna raise our eyebrows and they make them think twice You know those fancards don't meet that much compared to the big dollars the dollar's to these yeah, but if you're a bit of your paramount I mean, yeah, it's not like you need the publicity You know, yeah, but yeah Okay, that'd be good P.O.I. That'd be interesting.

I didn't arc with them on this season just wrapping up season three I believe she's a huge fan of the show Now you say these are shows that are great, but the late the ratings are a little below I might even see the ratings are low just I just don't hear people talking about enough Okay, so I don't think they're they're getting the respect they should And that again Nashville's for her because I don't watch it because I just The concept doesn't And of course she's listening in the other room because she just texted me She didn't want us to show but she'll listen through the wall. It's very strange Does it's our second favorite show probably behind down Navi Number nine they've used a season two starts tonight true detective Oh yeah, I mean it's getting some love but not nearly the love that it should have gotten now This season we're changing the cast we're changing the story we're changing everything So it's either gonna go really well or it's really not yeah.

I mean Season one could have totally set the bar or season one or it could just said let's continue with this cast I mean it's a good cat. Yeah, yeah, so we'll see how that works out because our number eight is a show that may or may not be canceled depending on the date That you're listening to the show Concenting NBC Carried is not gonna renew it, but they're still trying to shop at the sci-fi last I knew This this is a comic book property called Hellblazer and it's really well done the guy playing and it's also based The movie Constantine with Cano Reeves is based on the same property, but I think the guy that's playing him in this show It's a lot closer to what I see in Constantine Matt Ryan is his name Also another one of my favorite actors Harold Perino is in this show There's a little young lady by the name of Angelica Celaya She gets a whole lot of how you doing In this show number seven is a show I watch five days a week On ESPN it's called highly questionable with Dan Levittard Beaumonti Jones and Gonzalo Levittard who is Levittard's dad They talk about sports issues of the day They also have great interviews with people everyone from athletes to actors to musical artists the whole nine They do a a segment called do you question where they have like viral videos that they make fun of and then They also have a segment called see or know or they talk about what's on television that night and they tell you if they're interested or not I love this show. Yeah, it's fun And they got to see them a few times.

I really enjoy watching that show number six ring of honor Get on board now kids if you were any form of a wrestling fan you need to be watching ring of honor We're a little bit ahead. What do you say they're doing wrong? We have time on that or do you want to put that on?

I'm going to put that on paper because I really want to take the time because I want my argument to be throw and I want it to be right But get on board with ring of honor. Well, I'm on if you have fallen out of love with wrestling Ring of honor. We'll rekindle that flame for you.

They really focus on they truly do focus on the wrestling Not much the acting the dramatics the backstage. There's just enough to keep it going exactly they had their paper view this past Friday night best in the world Jay lethal defeats brisco for these now the television and world champion for ROH So a big deal there for them. We check out ring of honor.

It's a really cool quality And they're feeding our ring announcer Scarlet Porto also very how you don't know But but they but they don't do any women's wrestling. It's all men's wrestling But they've got their share of women in there too and then and they play the smaller arenas Which works out that the fans in Toronto were amazing. Oh, yeah, they're going nuts Number five Star Wars Rebels just fires up season two last night I haven't watched it yet.

I'm very excited to get to be able to do so very very soon It's an animated series takes place before episode four So you kind of see how the the rebellion begins Okay, very enjoyable Darth Vader's gonna be in it this season very excited You cut up on season one number four. There's two CNN series the sixties was last year The seventies is currently going on now. It's a documentary series put together by Tom Hanks and his friends.

Okay It's a really really good look at the decades Real the sixties was great. I just watched about 15 minutes of the first episode of the seventies They've done two episodes. It's on Thursday nights It's very very well done All right, I could probably be like on there on demand or something.

I would assume. Okay, if not I believe the sixties is I like that kind of stuff. It's really it's it's done Interview style, but they interject all the actual footage that they're talking about with it and every episode deals with a different Different facet of the decade whether it be politics whether it be television movies music Headlines.

It's really yeah Number three another one of my personal favorites on every Sunday night at HBO last week tonight with John Oliver But like And there's another reference last week And there was a sign it said John's he in the drinks bud light line very very you knew You had to watch that show to get that show very very funny show. It's only a 30-minute show So get yourself but you could go on a rate. You know he talks a little makes a little jokes about the current goings on You know that week a couple big headlines But then he goes he focuses on something that he just thinks there's an injustice on yeah, you know and he could really get in on it And he goes very very in depth and into the major ones very big.

Yeah, because also I want to say one thing He did one on the pharmaceutical companies and the four reps in everything When I work at on the board of corporate I told I'd sold catering I did catering cells and half our business was farm That's now tell you I was gonna say he better bring up about the money they spend a fee these doctors and he did Yeah, and that was true to a tea. I you know, I saw oh, yeah, it's in one doctor paid 800 bucks Just you know one rapid 800 bucks to feed the staff to see a doctor for an hour Yeah, yeah, I like his rant very good number two. I showed that you got to watch a little bit of an pre-show called Unsung on Tuesday one.

It's behind the music, but it more focuses on hip hop and R and V artist There've been some great episodes there in the middle. They're they're late at season right now They're last episode. They did was for DJ Quick, which I have on my DVR currently and Number one and it's a show that's it just started its second season It's called Holt and catch fire.

It's on AMC It's about the computer boom in the 80s Is a dramatic show or is it drama takes place in Dallas okay The first season dealt with the development of the first laptops This season they're dealing with the genesis of online gaming and all the the roadblocks are hitting where they don't have Secure phone lines and and things like that. It's really well done. It's it moves a little slow So be prepared for that You know, it's it's it's not one of these slam bang look at us.

We're hackers kind of thing It's it's a slow burn, but it's completely worth it This I mean it shows got some of the best Some of the some of the best actors that you you've seen and you don't even know who they are Lea pace who played Ronin the destroyer and Guardians of the Galaxy he was also in the Hobbit trilogy He's one of the main characters in this scoot McNary who you would know From he was an argo Okay, he was one of the one of the people that they were protecting an argo If I can get this to work McKenzie Davis carry Bishay A lot of really great this week James Cromwell of this year James Cromwell is on the show. You know, I'm a huge fan of them Just it's a really really good show, but just be prepared that it doesn't move as fast as a lot of these shows do Because it's it's telling a very very complex story Completely worth it Any honorable mentions that you might have I kind of about well, I want to say that you know his I got about three I want to bring them up, but this is kind of honorable mention is one is the stuff on history channel those movies that they do around like the With all the dates and stuff like the de de de who de ne and the half-filts of McCoy. Oh, I love the half-filts Yeah, they did that Texas rising which was really good and then also that many series on national geo about the American geniuses where they yeah, like they stole they the reason one from last week was the how the Sample covers Smith and Weston on the on the development of the the revolver, but it looked at a whole different ways of like you know Tesla versus, you know What's the space The guy who invented the lipolper whatever it is medicine.

Yeah, and that was really good, but my three shows and two of the first two reality shows, but They when you watch them the this is reality One is ink masters on spike I just got into that and I don't know why, but I love that new season starts to on Tuesday But it's a competition or these tattoo artists has to Vite to get you know $100,000 to get the thing in ink magazine and all that other stuff, but it these are real tattoos that they do in these people Which is kind of interesting because you can't fix these tattoos I Russ says he likes wayward pines. I hear a lot of things about that. That was my number one and that the other one I want to bring his deadliest catch.

I've watched that for years No one talks about it, but that is true crabbing, but just not a big deal. Wait, we're pines started off kind of okay Then took a little dive, but the last episode that they had about a week and a half ago because he took last week off That took it for a whole new loop and you're going oh my god now I know why they're doing this and what's going on. Okay.

It took one heck of a turn if you did not see the last episode Watch it because now that really revved it up We were pines incredible showing now. I will happy father's day to everybody out there If you're whether you again, whether you have biological children, maybe you're a stepfather Maybe you're just a mentor to young people and have that positive male role model thing going on We want to thank all of you.
