I'm excited for this year for the dolphins but even then, I don't know, they are the dolphins and we have everything given to us right now and I still think we lose the first four. But, you know, being a real fan of sticking with it no matter what, a special shout out to the Mar family this weekend, Maddie have her birthday on Friday, Phil and Shannon got to move into their new house yesterday, I helped them out with that, beautiful little place up there so congratulations to those kids, even though they are probably not listening because they don't have their internet hooked up yet.

Check that as true. If you remember the Ryan C.Crest show that Fox launch called Knock Knock Live and Drew now replaced him on. It has just disappeared.

It has been canceled. Wow. No way, really.

The first episode was the lowest rated premiere in the history of the Fox network. Because it's Ryan C.Crest. And we'll see.

Then they thought, well, okay, probably not good numbers. So for the second episode, we'll bring in Justin Bieber and Hill Help with the ratings. They lost 100,000 viewers in that episode.

So why are they going to realize that nobody likes him? And why do people at Fox not lose their jobs? For those stupid ideas.

Probably because Ryan C.Crest paid for it all to have didn't lose me money. Congratulations to the movie on sci-fi network called Lavalantula. 1.7 million viewers for this thing.

A sequel has been greenlit. You want to know what the name of it is? Sharknado meets Lavalantula.

Too lava, one lanchula would have been funnier, I think, but some casting news for season 6 of Game of Thrones, Max Von Seedow, joining the cast, so in, as well as, go ahead, you make shit. But they said the comic shit is going to have a very limited role, but it's pivotal but limited.

Okay. So very excited about that. And news that I did not see coming, I don't know if you know how much you know about this.

Nothing. Sesame Street is moving to where to HBO. Stay with me.

Sesame Street going to HBO for the next five years. Sense of me is going to allow them to double the amount of content they put out. And nine months after the show debuts on HBO, PBS gets to air it for free.

I'm on board. I mean as long as nobody's popping caps in anybody, I do other poppits, I'm fine. But you know what, Kudos to HBO for, I'm basically rescuing this thing because Sesame Street was on live support because of all the budget cuts for PBS.

And the Kevin Clash scandal probably didn't help much. Exactly. So HBO kind of picking up the slack here.

And they're going to give it back to PBS. Is HBO ever kid friendly? They used to be many, many years ago.

And if you watch like early on Saturdays, they do most mornings, they have kid type programming. You think they did this because Netflix and Amazon are just taking off with their numbers like what their show is. It's possible.

It is possible. But I give Kudos to HBO for this because this thing's in institution. If the world were to be without Sesame Street, that's like a day of that sunshine.

I don't care if we are. So I will be interested to see how it works. Yeah.

I may, I may DVR the first couple and take a look at it. NBC rebooting Zeno warrior princess. This is the thing.

Story. They have no sense. They haven't said who's going to start yet.

But Lucy Lawless will be involved. I believe in a producing role. She's not going to be playing.

I mean, she might be like in the pilot episode as like passing the torch or whatever. Speaking of Lucy Lawless, if you are in the Dallas Fort Worth area, she will be appearing at the October Dallas Comic-Con. She's going to be there.

Yay. So, I'm a big fan of her. I thought she did a great run on the agents of shield.

Hopefully she's not one of those creepy people I meet in the green room when I'm not to do a panel or a Q&A panel for Pokemon because like I did that and there's one of the guys from Firefly like literally right next to me and there's one. I don't know. I never watched the show, but everyone's like talking to him and I'm like, oh, well, can you move?

I'm trying to get this cheese like off this platter, but just it's like picking your nose. Excuse me, sir. Which between me and the Pimentit.

I was like, hello. I was like, no more awkward celebrity in counters like that because he's like the uniform. I was like, yeah.

Interesting. Speaking of NBC. NBC is working with DC Comics on a brand new series called Powerless.

And it basically the concept of it, it's a workplace comedy dealing with normal people who work in a terrible insurance company in the DC universe. So this could be part of what I've been looking for since Avengers, where I was looking for a series more about the people that have to rebuild cities after the Avengers destroy them, but this is more like the insurance company that has to deal with it. I, I'll go to fly because I was reading, I was reading a superman comic recently and I came across the name of the company that does it that rebuild really destroyed cities in the DC universe.

And I can't think of it off the top of my head, but I'm assuming that very destruction crew. I'll see now you're crossing this. Now you're crossing this dream.

So I'm sure that whatever it's called, that's probably what's going to be mentioned. And NBC also developing a TV series based on red, really, yes, that was announced today. Again, NBC, sorry, I don't put, they just say that it's in development.

I just don't put a lot of faith in NBC, I just, I hate, just don't let heroes reborn suck. That's all I'm saying. It'll be good for a season.

Might. Let's move into POI. POI is a segment we do on this show called Person of Ventures, so where we take a person or an entity, we debate their greatness or lack of their other.

It is my turn this week. And I would like to take POI as a person. It is a person local to our fair bird, where this show emanates from.

And it's someone that for a while, I found mildly entertaining. And now I found them counter-productive, I'm sorry, and his name is Mark Cuban. My thing was Cuban.

I don't know if we're past the point where, I don't see, do you remember when he was on the sentence? Yes. And he said to the distributors, oh, it's been 30 seconds and I haven't done something crazy.

Oh, yeah. I don't know that we are fully past that point. I think it's better than it used to be.

But it's kind of like he finds the exact wrong times to run his mouth anymore. Like he saves it for the exact wrong times. And I think it's counterproductive to his organization.

Opinions here. Anyone bewer. He's running out of ideas.

I think he's like, I'm too old to be acting up. He's like, oh, I need to say something. And doesn't he have a kid now?

Yeah. Yeah. I think he needs to refocus his energies.

Because this team, it's like he's constantly putting a bandaid over a gaping wound. He's trying to, he won't admit where the crack in the armor lays because it's the greatest player on the franchise history, but he won't point the finger and say, hey, our problem isn't all these players. It's where trying to force this guy to play five more years and he can't play 10 more games.

And I'm going to say you're talking about dirt in the vetsky. Yes. And you're absolutely right.

I like dirt. I wasn't the biggest fan of him. I'm not even going to say he brought us a championship because he didn't that year.

The human being quality human being, never heard a bad word about him. Good player. I don't know on most other teams in the league if he is who he is in Dallas, a great player played with some great players, loved watching him in Stephen Ashwork together.

But I just don't know, is, is, is, is Cuban, is Cuban even a thing anymore. Yeah. Mark Cuban is like hitching his wagon and just bearing all of his success based off dirt and what dirt has done and he's trying to drive that out as long as possible.

Because I think once that little piece has gone, I don't think Mark knows what to do. Because he's not wild and crazy Mark Cuban anymore to where he just can get TV deals because he's crazy and he's trying to run this team and he doesn't really know how to do that right and even like him doing shark tank. To me, I have to think about the fact that that show even exists.

He was kind of the gimmick character on his, everyone's like talking about financial deals and how to like break it down into different sections of like the year or whatever and what you could do in the market and he's just like, oh, well, I own this team. And then he'll always make like a thousand references to, well, I own the Mavericks and I can mark this at the stadium and that and it was just a gimmick with him. Yeah, Mark, we get it.

We remember. You won't let us forget. Yeah.

After they won the championship, you could see like he let dirt in 2012 or he just let dirt do whatever. Like you can obviously tell if dirt didn't care. He's like every other superstar that won the championship and he just let it go from there because he'd already got what he wanted.

Like you hated too earlier. He has adult ADHD is essentially what it is basically. I just, he wanted, he wanted to buy, he wanted to become a principal owner in the Pittsburgh Pirates because he's from Pittsburgh and majoring baseball said they didn't want him.

Good for major league baseball. They made the right decision. Because his original thing is the first thing he tried to buy the penguins.

That was his first thing because he wanted a team and in some town. I just don't, I kind of feel like the time has come and gone. Like there was a time where if an hour went by and I didn't see something about Jerry Jones, there was something wrong in the world.

Now Jerry has just become such a piece of the background. Like when you have to pull it pictures or photo or video of your players fighting during practice to get headlines, that should tell you what you need to know. They're so big that that's the only thing that's going to grab attention anymore.

All of the events is in the rear view man and we'll plus that's all the media is going to put up there for the Cowboys anyway. That's true. Jason Whitten looks like he's 22 again.

They don't care about that. My wife's favorite player. Okay.

Does there want to punch it? Someone? Okay.

That's the only thing the media will run out there. Yeah, they won't talk about Joseph Randall's strides in practice. They'll just keep talking about what he did to get arrested twice in the last three years.

So I mean, that's just how they work. It's just, you know, you only hear the Aspen's media. You only hear Randall's fumbles.

I just think that the time of the over-the-top executive in sports has come and gone. And I think Cuban was probably the last bastion of that like Steve Balmer. You had that for like an hour and a half.

But that was because you had to do something to get the Clippers image back on track. Right. Wasn't it the guy with a racist?

No, that was a racist. That was what he took over. Yeah.

He took over for Sterling. That's right. For divorce from his wife.

Because that was the thing. Yeah. Oh, ho, ho, ho.

Oh, dear. But I just, I don't know that we, there's even room in sports for this anymore. Have you been to a Mavericks game lately?

It's not about the game. A couple years ago. Yeah.

It's all entertainment. Like every between every time out there's someone running on the court. And they're always showing something up on that little jumbo trunch.

Oh, I know. It's never about the game. Is when I went to a preseason game, which was just the one you went to with me that I got so mad at the pumble Billy Hayes.

Yes. Where there was a replay. And the, the, the referees were looking at the replay.

And I'm not kidding you, humble Billy Hayes says fans, I think the debate right now is that you're not making enough noise. That happened. And I was like, really dude.

That's what you've got. Yeah. That was the Lebron game, wasn't it?

I believe it was a preseason game. Yeah. That's when we were like court side and we were like, six rows behind the goal or something.

If that, it was great seats. But it just for me, I just, I just want to watch my sports. I don't go, go pay the paychecks and run the business and make sure it runs properly.

And I respect you for that. But let me watch my sports man. Well, on a, on a lighter note, we have extreme arm wrestling back on TV and we also have NFL.

This is destination American means program. Actually, we did some arm wrestling competition this past Wednesday. Really?

I'm just saying this this is a good discussion about this topic though Okay, someone's entire Like paycheck is on the line basically because they're out for six to ten weeks by getting their jaw broken And there's no suspensions or anything like that, and it's in locker room, right? Well, the Richie and cognito thing was just verbal verbal abuse not physical abuse no harm to one person And he got booted off the team and kicked out the leak for an entire year the late understand NFL at all the latest We have is that the league is investigating the incident. That's all we have right now We got check to see if his balls are deflated first But it's such a weird thing the way the NFL works Because as the team might him go, yes, he got picked up the next day.

I would assume that this kid's gonna get at least a one game suspension from the league You know, he did the league in the jets of favor. Why would they spinning for that? I know he gets a signing bonus by the the board of directors Get to fight you know and Hard knock started this past week the Houston Texans.

Oh, Deyandery Hopkins broke that dude's like so dirty on a juke And you know who that was Steve's wall hall Who is running his mouth and got juked out of a socks my leg, but if we if we learned anything from that episode JJ what is a mountain of a human being? High quality human being though. I mean, you could help you make me sick You could eat 80 pounds of bacon, but really six hours of exercise really enjoyed really did enjoy that first episode I mean because I'm a big fan of hard knocks anyway I don't care if it's the Arizona Cardinals. I'm watching I wanted Cleveland to get it this year, man.

I'd keep up with them my phone because the NFL App and all the network stuff that you pay the preseason pass and all that stuff More wasn't working so I got very angry here something about that there were some it's some issues on Thursday The Dallas Cowboys lose of the San Diego charger 17 to seven The jets lose to the Detroit Lions 23 to three green bay beats New England 22 to 11 a lot of weird scores this season so far New Orleans loses to Baltimore by a field goal 30 to 27 but Washington football team beats Cleveland 20 to 17 Johnny Manzell runs in for a touchdown does not give them money symbol So there's that and then Friday night 10 at sea loses to Atlanta 31 24 the cattle a lot of Pantas over to Buffalo Bales 25 to 24 got a squeaker in that one Cincinnati over the Giants 23 to 10 jackson bill beats Pittsburgh by a Safety 23 to 21 the I'm sorry almost forgot the Oakland rate is I'm still in preseason for myself They beat St. Louis 18 to three That's like a really bad baseball score. I think it's like Olympic badminton Denver wins by by a safety over Seattle 22 to 20 last night and I watched a good chunk of this game as a Minnesota beats Tampa Bay 26 to 16.

I'm not afraid to admit it. James Winston looked good. He didn't look great But when the depth chart shows Mike Glennon behind you you're gonna do okay He played most of the first half out of the he put a little bit in the second half He has two really good wide receivers.

I'll I'll take Mike Glenn and over James Winston Fair enough. That's a hot sport opinion right there San Francisco loses to Houston 23 to 10 Kansas City all over Arizona Where if we you remember we talked a few weeks ago about how Arizona has the first female assistant head coach in the history of the NFL She works at the linebackers this game also worked by the first female official in the NFL They're both on the same field last night, but Kansas City beats Arizona 34 to 19 and then today Philadelphia all over the cults 36 to 10 what's at the Sanchez of the timtebo Philadelphia Tebo started.
