My name is Rob, I am the executive producer of the clubhouse podcast, and not only do
we have new toys, we are back home.
The first in-studio show that wasn't a pay-per-view, we've done in a very, very long time.
This is our busy season and we want to thank everybody, whether you are part of the show,
whether you came out and saw us at a live remote, whether you listened back to the shows
and gave us feedback, we've had so much fun the last month, we're finally back to
Abnormal for a week, because we're taking next week off, it's the holiday, I need everybody
to enjoy the holiday weekend with their families.
My name is Rob as I've said, but I am not alone, sitting in the co-host chair as he tends
to do as my co-host, and a man that actually has a laptop in front of him should he choose
to use it, he has chatted, welcome sir, boy I was getting homesick, it was getting kind
of crazy out there for a minute, yeah it was, see next time is the official fact checker
of this show, and a man who now has a reminder that every day is Rusev Day.
You may know him as Fondongo, but his mom and even Don Ford, I'm going to call him Don Ford,
welcome sir.
Hey I might take that to my new work cube, because I got the brand new job, starts this
week, right?
New position, I start tomorrow, that's right, congratulations sir, I'm all the stuff going
on, that's why I can play the viola at the big wedding yesterday, they wanted me to
show up and play, but what to do job, I just can do it.
You'd realize that our fact checker is Walter Mitty, you realize that.
Rounding out the days is the newest member of the cast, and a man that has given me another
gift, does Don know yet?

Okay so Don's not going to know until the money in the bank, Chad knows, because I don't want
anybody else to know, it's all money in the bank, he is Alex, Chad just happened to be
there when we moved out in the open and we couldn't show it.
And now I'm confused as to what that is, and I have no idea.
The other thing you bought, oh that, yeah that's going to be fun, yes it will be, a little
bit more gain there, yeah please, please, because I need to hear myself, no you're right
where you want to be right now, all right there can go louder, I have not listened back
to backlash yet, I'm planning on doing it this week, these last couple of weeks have been
kind of a bear for me, and watching it was bad enough, I know, and I think that's part
of it, I don't want to be reminded of what that pay-per-view was.
I'm glad I was at the diff, no believe me, we want to send a quick shout out though,
yeah we love the diff, friend of the show Dave Scott, who was at the diff with his Jurassic
Park Jeep, Dave, thanks for doing that, and Dave also came out last weekend for us, we
didn't realize that we got to the Real Alwell Film Festival that they were doing a Jurassic
Park theme, and so Dave brought the Jeep out for a little while as the kids were getting
there, and Schubert dressed as a T-Rex, was a thing, but thank you Mr. Schubert, thanks
to his mom, Patty Schubert for having us out last weekend, we had so much fun, and got
some inroads made that maybe we're going to have some of the kids help out with New
Need Who Need Sleep coming up Labor Day weekend, there's a lot of stuff going on, we can't
talk about it yet, but stay by the channel the first full week of June, we've got some
really cool stuff to tell you about, so stick around for that, alright, let's see if we
can remember how to do this here, but we want to go to high school and everybody, that
Real Alwell was a blast, a great time, one time, having to, I got a new laptop last weekend,
and it's wanting to restart this thing, and I'm not willing to do that yet, because,
and now it's not telling me, it's not letting me do what I want to do, so it's wanting
to restart, and we're right in the middle of the show, and I can't restart this laptop,
even though it'll happen quickly, I just want to set it to do it later, just tell this
thing that you're not the boss of me, and that's right, and shout out to Microsoft for the
Surface Book 2, this thing is pretty dog-on-sweet, I'm not going to lie, I for one welcome
our future robots, and I got, I'm now, we'll talk about all that later, but let's get
into some NASCAR kids, because it was all start a week in for NASCAR, they're at the Charlotte
Motor Speedway, currently located in Pekipsi, New York, not a lot of people know that,
you sure is, no, if I wasn't sitting on this steel chair, it'd be going upside your head
right now, we might make a perfect NASCAR logic, I mean, with their rating system, I'm
sorry, they're what, keep trying, keep trying, the rating system, how many can I miss it?
Alright, so your top 10 finishers at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, the race was last night,
by the way, so the race has been over for a while, okay, I wasn't like they just finished.
Top 10 finishers, in fifth place in the number 95 Chevrolet, starting in 17th, finishing
in 10th is Casey Kane, starting in 7th, dropping to 9th by the end of the race in the number
18 Toyota, Kyle Bush, starting in 20th, winding up in 8th, in the 47 Chevy, make sure you
get your hash browns with the AJ Almond Dinger, starting in 16th, winding up in 7th, Kyle
Larson, attorney at law, in the number 42 Chevrolet, 7x7x7x7x7x7x7x7x7x7x7x7x, whatever they're
calling the, I think it's the monster energy cup champion, starting in 11th, winding up
in 6th, number 48 Chevrolet, Jimmy Johnson, Chase Elliott, the new Sheriff in town, starts
in 21st and winds up in 5th, nice move by him, in the number 9 Chevrolet, number 11 Toyota,
starts in 14th, winds up in 4th for Denny Moons over my hamlin, Joey LaGano, in the bronze
metal position, starting in 10th, starting in 19th place, finishing 2nd, Daniel Suarez.
I'm going to do something to make this segment entertain you know the worst, the funny part
is that tells you how long it's been since we've been in studio, that just broke Chad.
Okay, hey, by the way, that Charlotte thing is like Dallas and Arlington, it's actually
in Concord, North Carolina, not Charlotte, but you can run, you can run, I'm just, hey,
technically, he did check the facts, what is it, what is it, what is it, dead horse smell
in this room right now, I'm pretty sure it's the Taco Bell, got let it go, great,
don't you dare, is that the great capital of the world? So Daniel Suarez starts in 19th
finishes in the silver metal, winning the race, starting in 4th, staying in that top 4 to
win the race in the number 4, 4th is Kevin Harvick, a guy who at once one time was sponsored
by Sonic, I believe his rookie year, every time I think of Kevin Harvick, I think of his
commercial, there was a sonic commercial, but he kept changing hats, he's not how to
do that, so they get all their sponsors in, but it was different sonic specials on the
hats.
Oh, good lord, seriously, that wasn't a bit, it was a bit, it was a commercial, a bit that
actually happened, but all right, so let's go to your playoff standings at this point,
if the playoff started today, the odd man out would be Austin Dillon, he's 262 points
behind the leader, but he is only 26 points back on Ricky Stenhouse Jr. I still think
he's, that's a character from Talladeganite's and nobody's telling anybody, right, Stenhouse
is one point behind Chase Elliott, the new sheriff in town, or is he turning a live loss
crack, he is five points behind Alex Bowman, that's really good at archery, oh I'm sorry,
wow, I did not even, Stephen, if you listen back to this show, you have now created
the funniest moment that this show has seen in a long time, and with that tweet, Stephen
wins, that was a text message, I was about to say dude, did you get a drop board put
on the dead guns?
No, I almost got one today though, now that I have the surface, it frees up my iPad,
I think I'm going to turn my iPad into a drop board, that was epic, what did he say?
I think he just brought my life, what did he say?

and I'm telling you, he asked me a question, I don't know what he's referring to, and
I said, and you just broke the show, wow, that was fantastic, that was perfect, time

NASCAR segment ever, well it wasn't exactly a high bar, but if we go to TV talk and
Archer comes up, I hope to God, he does it again, now you're hoping for it, I know it's
not going to happen, even if we try, it'll miss, I can't even, I'm done, let's just move
on, it's NASCAR, we're going through, Bowman, Bowman, okay, so Bowman's in 14th, he's
16 points behind Eric Jones, and Jones is one point behind, seven times, seven times,

Jimmy Johnson, Johnson is 50 points back on Kyle Larson, Kyle Larson is 23 points back
on the man, they call him the stone Ryan Blaney, at least we do anyway, Blaney is 11 points

segment we've ever done, next week, let's hope so, now next week remember you've got two
big races going on next week that happen on the same day, because you have the Indianapolis
500, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at the brick yard is what they like to call that,
the Coca-Cola 600 also takes place, I don't know if we've got anybody racing in both this year,
not that I'm aware of, a lot of years you'll have guys fly from one to the other and do both races
in the same day, and that'll be next Sunday at six o'clock Eastern, speaking of next Sunday,
we're going to take next week off, Steven said, he just texted Alex and said cheap eat,
next Sunday we're taking the week off, I want everybody to go enjoy the holiday weekend with
their families, because it is Memorial Day, and a three day weekend that cannot come too soon,
I mean, and it's not like anything bad has happened, we've just been so full throttle for the
last two months, like yesterday, didn't even leave the house, I actually had plans, but those plans
fell through, so I stayed home, and by the way, we talked about date earlier, we've got to finish
that story, tonight they are filming, he's taking the Jeep to a filming for a food network show
called Dallas Cakes, and we'll let you know when that airs, so you can see David and the Jeep, we're
so proud of our dude, that's really cool, excited for him, all right, all right, can we get back
on track here, talk some television headlines, so last week while we were waiting for the kids
to show, we talked about Claim Crawford and lethal weapon parting ways, and you had said something
about a possible female lead, not happening, not happening, nope, oh Blaney wants to do both races
next week, the stone, it's going to be Sean Williams Scott joining the cast, so you got that
going for you, but that's an outfit, but he's not really replacing him, he's joining the cast
is what he says, he's not playing Martin Riggs apparently, a rest of the development season five
is going to be broken into two parts, so if you're a fan, speaking of Netflix,
interesting announcement made last Sunday, because last Sunday was the final episode for season one
of the Joel McHale show with Joel McHale, they picked up five more episodes, but they're all
going to drop the same day, July 15th, I'll watch them all, what's the format of that show, it's
the soup, without 80 strings, so it's not for the kids, well, if you really want to get technical,
the soup wasn't really good, yeah, but there was still at least some broadcast standards, yeah, so
wow, I'm imagining that, I very much enjoy, yeah, I was about to say I'm sure you're probably on the
floor, I very much enjoy that show, let's see, project one, plan, project one, project one,
runway is returning to bravo, so adjust your DVRs accordingly, didn't know it was gone,
designator survivor, we talked about that getting, can I not talk today, designated survivor,
it's okay, you're just got canceled by ABC, maybe going to Netflix, Netflix talking, fantastic,
pre-4th loves that show, whether or no, hopefully she's listening, but if she's not, let her know,
might be going to Netflix, let's see, so this epic, did you read this epic story this week of
what they put an order in for? I don't, okay, so I'm a week behind on everything right now,
I watched a week full of TV yesterday, oh god, so all the season finale's from this week,
I haven't watched yet, and of course anything that airs today, I did watch last week Simpsons
and Family Guy, because those season finale's are tonight, and the reason I'm saying this
is because another season finale happened this past week,
and I don't know what happens, I don't know what can happen that would wow me,
but epics has ordered another Batman prequel series, that will be called Pennyworth,
yeah, will not be related to Gotham, it's not going to be related to Gotham, but it's going to
focus on Alfred's time as a special forces officer and then working for Thomas Wayne, yeah I'm out,
can we learn anything, and this that part is I love everybody involved with Gotham,
I'm a huge fan of everybody, especially Drew Powell, because he's a big fan of Bob and Tom,
and he was actually on the show Thursday, that show is such a mess, it's a literal mess,
it's absolutely unwatchable, now let me ask you this, the show loss that was on a few years back,
never watched an episode, it was supposed to only be a three year three season thing only,
then ABC said no we're going to extend it and that's when they start jumping the shark,
was Gotham only supposed to be a couple season thing, and then Gotham isn't even what it was supposed
to be to begin with, yeah, because the original concept of Gotham was it was going to be just about
Jim Gordon and his days in the GCPD, well out of the gate they didn't get the ratings, they felt
they wanted out of it, be careful when you open that thing, it's already been opened, okay,
but they panicked and so they just started writing different stuff and putting villains in and
completely screwing up the timeline, Ben McKenzie is a good enough actor to carry that thing,
and Donald Logue as his partner works even better, absolutely, but they panicked and they've
screwed everything up so bad, it's nothing but a hot mess, yeah, they jumped the shark about three
times already, jumped the shark in episode four, yeah, I think what they were originally going for
was showing like your biggest hero in Gotham was Jim Gordon and they were going to stretch that
out as long as possible, until it got to the point where like okay we're handing it off to the
caped crusader now, my Batman bias is the only thing keeping me watching this show, but just
I love Batman, I couldn't hang, I want to say halfway through season two I bailed, I was like
this is awful, I got two words for you, fish, mooney was pretty much the end, she's been gone
since season two, she hasn't come back yet, but I would come back delayed spoiler, I would come
back and try to give it a look and I'm like no they haven't fixed this, and they're broken,
and they're screwing up the whole Rochelle ghoul thing, and well,
Arrow did more than its fair share of that, we're going to talk about that in here in a minute too,
let's see what we got going on here, but Gotham did get it's last and final season,
yes, next season is the final season, good, but in one, 22 episodes I think they said,
it's over, I missed the amount of episodes, I just know that it's the end, yeah, I think that's
what Drew Powell said on Friday on top of Tom, so, do you have anything on the run to you about the
NBC Chicago series? I haven't heard anything about that, what's going on? They've all been renewed,
but they're apparently all moving to Wednesday, they're going to air them all, I like that though,
because they're all interconnected anyway, so why wouldn't you put them together? You've got
survivor, empire, and the Chicago shows all airing on the same night, and Empire was on Mondays,
no, it's on Wednesdays, airing at the same time as survivor, when survivors are running,
there's only two shows that matter on Wednesdays, the Goldbergs in Riverdale, that's the list,
and I'm two episodes behind on Riverdale, because I forgot about Riverdale on my list,
is there no transition on the survivor cast for next season in our wrestling talk?
I don't know, there's a wrestler and I know somebody's been threatened and erupt spoilers,
oh no, there's already some spoilers that got thrown out in the face of a lawsuit,
yeah, I heard about that the other day, on this season of the season, I just wrapped last week,
the upcoming season, yeah, they just wrapped shooting like last Tuesday, oh no, I didn't know they
had a wrestler involved, oh no no, that's that season, should I just say it now? Go ahead,
it is Johnny fill in your blank, Johnny Mundo is on the next week, yes he is,
a man who was elected class president and he didn't even run it, yeah,
Cody and I lived on that day for like two years, well the other major story tied in with
the whole Chicago thing was that Monica Raymond has left the show, has left Chicago fire,
okay I got nothing, well I mean she's, I mean I'm not important to you, but I don't know,
she was there from the very beginning and they had a really weird way of dealing with
her character leaving the show quote unquote at the end of this the season finale,
so I guess they kind of put a button on her career on that show, she just walked away from it,
Dreamworks animations working on a new Shira series,
interesting, never watched Shira was a big he-man fan, never got into Shira, but you know what,
we're in right now, we're in this women empowerment thing on the board, I'm on board to do it,
do it right, do it, I'm speaking of which, did you see one of the, I want to say it's
he fury today, no it's the other one, the one that does the four every day, did I get before
it, I want to get at midnight, I don't rip, does not rip, not rip, not shirt punch, shirt punch I
think, they're doing two or T-shirts today, one's the Infinity Gauntlet, one's for Game of Thrones,
and it's like, it's the Gauntlet tour on the back, it's got all the heroes listed on it,
and for Game of Thrones it's all the families, that's pretty true, you do have a laptop in front of
you, probably look at that, I don't know, I have to power it up, no it's powered up, it's just
you know, and I also have this little, open it up, it's a little smart, that's fair,
Cartoon Network doing a new Thundercats roar, I don't know how I feel about this because the
last time they did this, it was, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great, never was it,
Thundercats, and the, the very how you do an Emanuel shrieky was one of the voices in that,
so, it's kind of the opposite of how you want to see her, I like her, I don't like,
talking as I got her on the screen, I don't care how, she speaks French, joining the Aeroverse in
December, you really want to screw up continuity, sir, Batwoman, joining the Aeroverse in December,
why, because they can, just because you can, and if you know, yeah, I have a better question, how,
post sweeps, that's how you say hi in Indian, in Montana and the Crow, and here's how you say it's
general, dawn, hi, do you, do you, do you, does somebody just hit a snooze button for you and you
decide to join the conversation? Yeah, look at them, just send me up, it's a word for
conversation, yeah, yeah, yeah, the only thing on, not a lot on Blu-ray and DVD this week,
very light week on releases, the only TV catch up on last week with, you know, Black Panther,
but the only thing I saw TV-wise this week that was intriguing was Justice League action season one
part two, still have never watched an episode, they're doing a 4k release of the Jurassic,
the Jurassic series, that's not TV, sir, well, you might want to wait till we get to movies,
oh yeah, that's right, for that, well, because you mentioned Black Panther, so I was,
well, he said it was light, and I said it was still light, yeah,
you're always in the clubhouse podcast, we promised we've done this before, all right,
oh good mercy, we're gone for a month and just every, all the wheels fall off, we lose our rhythm,
oh, we had rhythm and music, we could ask for anything more, honestly,
oh god, that wouldn't even go anywhere, that one's just gonna sit there for a minute, 99, let balloons,
I had a friend of mine say to me this week, she started listening to the show, she's like,
it's like listening to a regular radio show, except more fun, she's probably gonna want to skip this
episode, and let's like you points, don't worry, we'll get there eventually, all right,

stallions tour, all right, let's go to POI, POI stands for person of interest, it is a segment
we do on this show where we take a person or an entity and we debate their greatness or lack
thereof, this week I think is gonna be more, I mean you guys might have some input here, but
this is gonna be mostly for Alex and I, because it's something that we've been wanting to discuss
for a while, and things just got kind of away from us, so as you guys know, a couple of months
ago, the lovely and talented Mrs. Irvin and I cut the cable, and we have gone to direct TV now,
haven't had any real major problems, I've heard people that were having intermittent service problems,
we haven't, been able to watch pretty much anything I want on on demand that I don't watch live,
they did roll out the DVR this week, but it hasn't reached my device yet, there are people using
it, but you only have 20 hours right now in the first rollout, but it's early, it's an early rollout,
but this time of year, 20 hours isn't that big of a deal, because everybody's in the season,
it's an early rollout, what better time to do it, it just means now I can watch Jeopardy,
you know what I mean? Because I can't, 21 doesn't do on demand, you can't get Jeopardy on demand,
I can't find where to watch Jeopardy if I don't get to watch it live, which is really annoying.
Yeah, and locally NBC is like re-aligning their signal or something, like if you're doing over
the air locally for NBC, you're gonna have to rescan your antenna on Wednesday I think.
Really? They're changing their frequency, which I couldn't, I think it's them and cozy,
because I think they're they're kind of under whatever. I don't even know what that is.
I mean I know it's got to be very comfortable, but anyway, but yeah, you're gonna have to
rescan everything, so I thought that was kind of strange, I never heard of that. So do you have to have
a dish or do you do a lot of gameplay? No, it's an app, it's literally an app,
and picture it as a streaming service, like Netflix. So with that, we've actually
upped our Hulu subscription, because it's saving us 150 bucks a month, and we've talked about this.
So we've upped our Hulu subscription by $4 a month, so I can have Hulu commercial free,
because a bunch of my shows are actually on Hulu. Like I can't watch like all of my Fox stuff
except Legion, I have to watch Legion on the FX app, but they only do one commercial per
break anyway. The ones that are hurting me are the CW, because they do two-minute commercial
breaks five times at every show, because none of the CW stuff is on Hulu. However, one of the things
I was concerned about were Ron Smackdown, but I found out that you can watch those on Hulu. So I'm
like great, Smackdown without commercials, Raw without commercials, I'm on board. Here's the thing.
Smackdown, you get the entire show outside of whatever they do in the commercial breaks for
they split screen, you don't get that. Raw, you get, no, stay with me. You get a 90 minute version
of Raw. Now, if you take the commercials out, when I had a DVR, I can watch Raw in two hours.
So you're losing 30 minutes of programming. And unfortunately, the test we ran had some of
the best parts of the show. Well, some of them, in my opinion. So this was, this was the,
this was the Raw after WrestleMania. Wasn't it that we did this experiment? I believe it was two
weeks after. Okay, but so Alex and I did an experiment where he watched Raw on Monday live.
And then Tuesday, I went back and watched it on Hulu. Okay. And so what I was doing was I was
texting him segment by segment where we were. Or was it? I know it was right. It was the week
after the superstar shakeup. Yes, it was the after man. No, it was a week of superstar shakeup.
That's right. Because the there was a segment you thought I lost. I hadn't. So I was texting him
segment by segment. Okay, I'm starting this now. I'm right here now. We missed a squash match.
Which he actually said was actually a decent match to watch. For as far as squash matches go,
it did exactly what you want, which is show them being able to work. And when it was an AOP match.
Okay. Against local there was a promo segment for Baron Corbin coming to Raw. But it was out of order.
Okay. Because he was like, wait a minute. You didn't get the Baron Corbin? I'm like, no,
I got that like 20 minutes ago. That's weird. Yeah. But the reason that you got it 20 minutes ago
was because that was right after a section that you had missed. Okay. So everything had happened
later for me in the live show. The recording that we were pairing up because there was stuff cut out
up to that point. Now when did this air for you, Rob? I can get it the next day. Okay. Okay.
Everything on Hulu is a day behind. Okay. Which is really good as far as the service goes.
Because like, like, family guy, which I can watch without commercials on Hulu,
it's going to drop in Hulu tonight's episode Cinthinali. It's going to drop tomorrow morning at two.
So when I wake up in the morning, it'll be ready for me. Okay. It's not like I have to wait a
full 24 hours. Oh, and I can't do like into the badlands pretty much. I have to watch the entire
episode because AMC's app sucks. You get full, you do get full commercial breaks with them.
But so I don't know that I missed anything earth shattering. But I will say this, the weird thing,
the weirdest thing for me raw goes faster. Even like, even without me like fast forwarding
commercials, Raj just seems to be paced better. But Smackdown seems slower to me. That's what I
don't understand. I wonder who the brainchild is behind this, this whole 90. It's the same company
that airs both shows. Yeah. So I don't know why you're not getting all of raw. You know what,
I'd be really interested though. Have you ever seen that when they run the shows, like Saturday
morning on Univision? On Universal HD. No, no, no. On Univision does too.
Univision. So it's the Spanish product version. Yeah. And I'll say because Universal HD shows
them back to back on Saturday nights. Right. But at Univision, we'll show like Saturday morning and
it'll be a compressed version that I wonder if that matches up better with what you have on Hulu.
Probably. I bet Universal HD does too. I wouldn't be surprised. I think it's the full three.
But I just don't like commercials. Yeah. Same here. You know. I mean, it's kind of like the sacrifice.
Now, the funny thing is when I watch Agents of Shield, I get a little message at the beginning that says,
due to streaming limits, we cannot show this commercial free. So we'll show you a commercial at the
beginning and a commercial at the end. Let's just say I don't ever make it to the commercial at the end.
But the Goldbergs doesn't do that. The Goldbergs I watch straight through. That's the weird thing.
So there's that. Any other thoughts that you guys have any questions you have? Can you watch it live,
though, too? Absolutely. Okay, but what certain shows like if I get in late and it's still going,
like if I leave here and then like into the badlands is on and I'm 20 minutes in, I can start from

How much are you paying and are you getting paid channels like HBO and all that stuff?
Okay, so as an AT&T customer with an unlimited data plan, I get HBO free for life.
So I have their top of the line package with HBO and also being an unlimited data customer,
I get $15 a month off my bill. So I'm actually paying $55 a month for about 175 channels.
And that trims the, I mean, and that's really trimming the fat out of everything else because if
you look at the channels, there's only two channels I'm upset I don't get. Channel 47 and nested,
and that's just because of Ring of Honor. But we found out today because Alex is a member of
Honor Club, we were able to download the ROH app to my my Apple TV and we're only a week behind
what we were watching ROH in full 1080p, which we've never been able to do. It was almost uncomfortable
to see that. Yeah, so do you get show time to get those? Yes, those will cost you like five bucks,
five to eight dollars a month each. HBO Showtime Cinemax stars. Do you say HBO? Do you like the
seven HBO channels? No, you get two. You get HBO, you get HBO, you get HBO family. I have three
because you get HBO Latino. So you don't get all the other, you don't need them. I don't ever,
I mean, every once in a while, I'd watch something on HBO comedy. But and plus, you know,
if I don't get catching on HBO, I got HBO go. Yeah, which I get free because again,
AT&T unlimited data customer, you could do the HBO now, but that's like 15 bucks a month.
Why not just pay five and have it on? Yeah, okay. Yeah. But I think I'm a big fan of it.
My wife has really taken to it as well. So I'm telling you, and plus the fact that if I don't have any,
I don't even have a box. I just have the, I have an Apple TV in my living room. We have a
Roku in the bedroom. That's it. I don't have to have any satellites. I don't have to have anything
else. That is so nice. Yeah, it's where everything's going at this point. But it's something that
Alex and I were talking about those. You really have to have a decent internet connection. Yeah,
that's crucial. You know, Alex and I are going to take some time this week and I'm going to go
out to his place. And we're going to test it out on his system to see how the streaming is
because they live out there by the lake. So I don't know if if their internet connection is going to
be a solid as here because here at the house, the junction box for AT&T is literally in my backyard.
So people three houses down for me don't have as strong of a signal as I do. And I've been told
that by multiple, multiple tax. Yeah, like you're really lucky because you're like right on top of
the junction box. So you're going to, you're going to get all the goods first. And you're on fiber,
right? Yeah, I am on, I'm doing the AT&T, but they call AT&T fiber. Yeah, so much. And it is phenomenal.
And it's not as expensive as I would. I don't think that's an option out by me yet. But I mean,
you still might have a decent enough connection, right? That's where the fun experimenting comes in.
Oh, and by the way, in case you're playing the home game of 43 days for my birthday.
So and we are, we are having some discussions about where Ragnarok will be
hoping to lock that down this week. So I have an idea and some people are on board with it,
but some people aren't, it's, it's a discussion that we're having because there's a lot of people
involved in this thing. So any other questions where we move on, gentlemen? No, I mean, it, it,
it sounds like it's brilliant. Yeah, it's, it sounds like the smartest TV option out there.
Well, and with everything going to streaming and having now seen the Apple TV and how it functions
on Rob's TV, it's the first time I've actually paid attention since I am very much leaning towards
getting direct TV now if it can is very simple of switching between the streaming apps, whether it's
like, okay, I want to watch Netflix or I want to do the Ring of Honor app or I want to do the company
network or anything along those lines, it transitions right in the TV and it's really nice.
Yeah, that sounds like a godsend to me. But I really dig and I showed this to Alex today and I think
I've melted his brain because the Apple TV remote, there's a learning curve to it because it's
touch sensitive. But they hooked you up with that too, right? That came with the TV. Yeah, yeah.
Well, if I've got to type in a password or am I going to email address, it's not real conducive.
If it counts for anything, it only melted the left side of my brain. I think that's the creativity.
And when it, when it pulled up, my phone vibrated. Oh, yeah, pick up my phone, tap the screen,
and my screen on my, my keyboard because I have an iPhone. Uh-huh. It works as the keyboard for
the screen. So I don't have to just back that over, over, over, over click, over, over, over click.
Now, mind you, I had no idea this to start because I am blind on my right side. So I'm thinking he's
just typing at the fastest way. And in my mind, I'm like, wow, he's gotten really good to this. But
no, my, and then I turn and I see him holding his phone and I'm like, okay, wait a minute.
China, China. And there's actually, and there's actually an Apple remote app on the phone too.
Which actually the Apple remote app to me is easier to deal with than the Apple TV remote because
it's tiny. Yeah, it's like my, my Roku smart TV is got the tiniest remote you've ever seen.
And it, and it works whenever it feels like it. So I just download it and you have to buy another
one. And I'm not, I'm not even, I mean, all I really used it for was turning it on, turning it off
and volume control. Well, now I've got the volume control going through my home theater. So
all you need is an on button. And it wouldn't even do that. So the beauty of the Roku remote is like
you can pull up a menu where it like it shows all the tiles on your phone and like say you don't want
to watch TV. You want to play your Xbox one. You hit the Xbox one tile. It powers the TV on
and goes right to that input. So I'd rather do that. Looking us up for the next segment. So very excited.
But the other interesting part that we'll have that we'll have to come back to is when I finally do
try to reach out and say, hey, direct TV now, assuming all the tests go well, is whether or not they
have issue with me trying to do that as a current direct TV customer in a contract. I would think they
wouldn't. I would think they wouldn't either. But now I will say the other downside, the other
downside is the NFL thing. I'll be able to watch. I'll be able to watch the local gains. No problem.
I can't do red zone or anything like that because Verizon has the streaming contract with the
NFL. Oh, that sucks. I didn't even think about that. And so Alex and I were talking about it and
the game. I was like, you know what? I could just get NFL game pass. Yeah, no. Oh, no. Let's go
into that. There's two tiers. I don't know what the difference is. $200 a year and $300 a year.
No, no. Now, if they would just, if I could pay them 20, you know, 25, 50 bucks just to give me
the red zone. I'm on because I love the red zone channel. Red zone channel is one of my favorite
things on God's green earth. I told you that story, didn't I? Sitting there watching the red zone
with with lovey and talented Mrs. Irvin. We're there for like an hour and I just hear from a
cross room. I just hear red zone. I'm like, yeah, I just thought it was a real high-scored game.
And I was like, the different colors in the uniform, nothing. She didn't really pay that much attention.
I said fair enough. Well, and then the other part was that is my wife. And the other part is,
is he was talking about just sticking to Sunday ticket and Rob hadn't paid for Sunday ticket

And they were amazing wow how is that even possible

But it would they were sugar-free Oreos and they were nothing short of amazing
And I've only ever seen it one time by the way
I tried I actually tried a new Oreo this past week the cherry cola Oreo. I saw those
I was trying to try it. How is it? It's got pop rocks in it. That's why it's true. Oh, yeah, that's what it fizzes and it's okay
I've seen better, but I've also seen a lot worse pumpkin sauce, but
Number six and when I this was something I discovered was gone by accident
And I almost screamed in the middle of a restaurant because to me this dish is a signature of this chain

The Chili's grilled chicken Caesar salad is no longer on the menu really and you'd think that that's just so basic
