I am the executive producer of the clubhouse podcast and I am happy to say that I think I'm officially back to abnormal. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. Let's go around the day, as shall we?

To my left is my co-host, and a man that is the only person in the studio will now, and now he's one of two people in the studio, not in today's festivities. He is chat, welcome sir. Oh, okay.

What? I see no green, sir. Oh, oh, yeah, yeah.

I have no green in my wardrobe, I'm sorry. Going around the desk is a man who was festive until about 20 minutes ago. You probably should have just changed like mid show as I was talking or something.

Nobody wants to see that. He is Alex. No, nobody wants to see that.

No, but I would have been talking and the camera would have been on me. But at the same time, nobody wants to see me changing. Even if there's something where somebody chimes in or Don starts doing the saxophone, just where I don't, as I'm changing.

That's a fair point, yeah. Rounding out the day is the official fact checker of this show and a man who is quite the traveler as of late and will be in the future. You may know him as Igboonu.

You may know him as Fondango, but his mama name him Don Ford. I'm gonna call him Don Ford. It's going on, brother.

But you probably know we have a seismic shift in the Picks, Romania. And yes, I still own the turlits. Because I came, well, I came in last at a Royal, I'm sorry, at Elimination Chamber.

So I now come, Romania, I will not have it. Okay. But I will say that the belt does not belong to me, Romania.

Let's just say things got a little weird last Sunday. We had entered the twilight zone. And they had some added on this.

But here's how that worked. Because they may basically booked on the fly. If you got it right, you got points.

But if you didn't, you weren't penalized. Yeah, because I was doing the thing with the Wiley, which we love and shout out to Kaylee for the invite to the Mustangs, which was a good performance. But I was doing that the night of the wrestling show.

So I listened back and I saw the red what happened. I saw some of it after the fact that it's like, uh oh. There's a lot of booking on the fly.

We'll get to all that coming up. Let's start with a little NASCAR. But because we have a, that's a nice segue because today at the auto club speedway, Chad, did you see who drove the pace car today?

All right. So today we were at the auto club speedway. And here are, I'm going to see if I can get the actual name of this race.

It was the auto club 400, very creative by the NASCAR, getting that done. Here's your top 10 finishers in 10th place, starting in the pole position, but falling to 10th in the number three Chevrolet Austin Dillon, the new sheriff in town. In 9th place, starting in 3rd in the number 10 Ford Eric Almarola, Martin Truex, Jr.

starts in 27th, winds up in 8th in the number 19 Toyota in the number 11 Toyota. Tiny moons over my hamlin starts in 6th, winds up in 7th, and the number 1 Chevrolet curved, starts in 21st, winds up in 6th, a lot of, a lot of, a lot of, a lot of big movements today. Ryan Blaney, we call him a stone in the number 1240, starts in 10th place, and winds up in 5th, Kevin Harvick in the number 4 Ford starts in the second place position, winds up in 4th, winning the bronze medal today, starting in 13th, finishing in 3rd, number 2 Ford, Brad keselowski.

The silver medal up from 5th place goes to Joey Lagano in the number 22 Ford and winning the race, starting in 4th, winning both stages and the race is one Kyle LeBouche. Let's get to some point, some point updates, because we've been doing this long enough now that we can have some point updates for you. So if the playoffs started today, your odd man out would be Ryan Hello Newman.

He's in 16th place as Alex Bowman, about to start playing Hawkeye, that's, I'm so I apologize. That was terrible. I totally, well, you just have to drop it because it will never get top by the random decks.

Let's move on to some television news. So we know that all of the Netflix Marvel shows now gone. Right.

We make the assumption that they're all going to Disney Plus later this year. But David Tennant will not be returning to Jessica Jones season three. Oh.

I'm assuming his character has run its course. I've not watched season two yet. He's doing another show anyway.

That's true. Funny or die is going to be developing a daytime talk show in the fall. In your host, one Jerry O'Connell, Mr.

Rebecca Romaine, so die. No, I think it'd be good. I like Jerry.

I thought Sliders was a great show. Ouch. It was not an option.

It's just a title of the website. Fair enough. But he wasn't necessarily funny.

He didn't have highlights. Well, you saw how they did their wedding, right? How he in the romaine.

So they invited everybody out to their, they live in like a ranch. So they were having like a barn party, a big barbecue and everything. All these bales of hay and they're like, hey, everybody come in and have a seat.

They're like, okay, like surprise. We're having a wedding right now. That's how that went down.

Yeah, my cousin actually did that yesterday, something similar along those lines. Oh, really? Set up a like an ambush wedding.

They told their parents that they were doing like a photo shoot and late birthday party. And surprise, we're actually getting married today. That seems awkward.

All right, waiting for this and things to fill out. We'll talk about it here in a minute. Isai Morales will be playing a death stroke in season two of Titans.

So I think you should just gone after and got in our boy menu, I'm on you bet it, but whatever. Yeah, I don't get that. And then what could be the strangest television story of the week?

Oh, no, I think it's in progress. So they're not putting anything up. Disney expanding its Marvel universe shows on Disney Plus.

They're going to do a what if series. Yeah, I saw that, which I'm okay with on the level of people like us, right? But that's going to throw a lot of people off what people like Don who doesn't go is deeply into the Marvel mythoses.

We do. I think that's going to be confusing for them. Yeah, I don't have the great credit because like in the 70s and 80s, Marvel had a series called What If.

Okay. And each issue was a standalone story like what if Bucky got the Super Serum first or what if Mary Jane got bit by the spider instead of appeared? Okay.

Are we sure that that's the what if they're going for for the show? Yes. Okay.

Yes. So like I love I used to love what if I thought it was a great series. I just don't know if that's going to translate well.

Well, I mean, DC's taking a couple of swings at their elseworlds stuff animated. Did they? Yeah.

Yeah. They took a swing. Ninja, what was it?

Ninja Batman? Whatever the heck? Ninja Batman.

Yeah. Wouldn't went over pretty well. And Gotham by Gaslight, which I still have in my house.

So the What Ifs were those TV shows were just comics. They were comics. Okay.

It's an excellent question. And it also got them. Is that still going or is that this?

This is Gotham's final season. Limping to the finish line. Have not watched an episode this season yet.

TV on DVD and Blu-ray this week, Doctor Who Season 7, they're releasing that in its completion. And a couple of WWE releases this week. This year's Royal Rumble.

You want to relive that and why 2018's the best of NXT takeover that you should check. That'll be interesting to see what they do there because it's going to have to be a pretty stock set because takeover that might be, that might be more than one disc. I will say this on TV though, I'm looking forward to the premiere of the fixed tomorrow night.

That's a big, that's a big new show. Yeah. And we've been watching the Black Monday with Don, with Don Sheetle Paul Sheer from How Did This Get Made?

That one's great. That's good. You said some good documentaries, that case against an AIDS side, which is based on that serial podcast.

And then also the funding, the other land, I don't even think it was a good documentary. I'm going to love that one beat. Just going to drive right by that block.

So I just lost my train of thought, but that's okay, but no, you're absolutely right. Yeah. HBO just in general, they're documentaries and they're valid.

Oh, you have block, okay, damn, I'm not very confused by all of this. You are. We're live every Sunday night, guys, we're three weeks from WrestleMania.

Oh, my God. Yeah. Two more Sundays.

And then it's, it's the, it's the granddaddy of them all speaking to which shout out. I found for six bucks at movie trading company. I got the starcade set.

Oh, really? I have it at the house now. I haven't had chance to watch it yet, but I'm very excited.

Do you know how I feel about Starcade? Yes. And I will say to the fans out there, I'm going to be gone next week, up in San Tone doing work.

I have had people ask me about the home shows. The latest is money has been paid. We're just waiting on the contractors from Home Depot to get started on the carpet interior.

And then once, well, really, it's not really the carpet, it's the tile on the bathroom. Correct. Once the tile on the bathroom is done, then we can start doing the home shows again.

Because I won't have you guys over and not have the guest bathroom available to you. It's just not cool, and it's not hospitable. So, all right, let's get to P.O.I.

P.O.I stands for Person of Interest. It's a segment we do on this show each and every week where you take a person and or an entity, and we debate their greatness or lack thereof. This week, it's going to get real personal.

Okay. Okay. So, as you may or may not know a couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit the great city of Orlando, or Orlando, where the south stops.

Everything south of Orlando is not the stop. Not the south. For a leadership conference from work.

Had a great time. Got to hang out with some of the leaders in my department from all over the country. Got to hang out, have a good old time.

Got to go to Disney Springs on Friday. Always an enjoyable time. What's Disney Springs?

That's there. It's kind of an outdoor marketplace. Okay.

There you have a store there called The World of Disney, where you can literally buy everything they sell in the parks. So, if you're not staying on property, you can just go there and buy your souvenirs. You have to haul them around the park all day.

If you do stay on ground, you can buy them in the park. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

I've seen it. Yeah, okay. So, Chad, you'll be happy to know there are two Star Wars stores now.

Good. I'm going to go to Disney Springs. The Coca-Cola store is amazing.

It's three stories tall. And it is awesome. I may have picked up some birthday gifts for the Madre.

The Madre's birthday is on WrestleMania Sunday. Get those in the mail soon. So, was ready to come home Friday afternoon.

Because that's what I was scheduled for. My plane was scheduled for 720 in the evening. So, this is going to be a greatness and a lack thereof POI.

So, stay with me. Oh, boy. So, we left Disney Springs at about 330.

Because it's Friday. It's Orlando. We've got to get to MCO.

Right? What's MCO? That's the abbreviation for the Orlando Airport.

Okay. It used to be an Air Force Base. Okay.

Many years ago. Head friend of mine, Kelly Peterson. Love you.

It's had so much fun seeing you that I knew from Summer Camp. Better part of 30 years ago. We hung out.

It had a great time. I get to the air. I'm in the terminal at 4.15.

Not bad. Which is not hard for Orlando. Right.

Especially for MCO. But you guys know me. I'm especially with the airport.

I'm early all the time. You know, growing up with the mother who traveled all the time. I have to be early all the time.

Right. So, I don't know. You actually can't see on camera.

But I did get a couple of pins, Chad. I want you to see these. Yeah.

I saw the pu-pew in the... I had a third one it fell off in the airport. I just had joined the resistance.

I don't know what happened. But... So, sitting in the terminal.

Sit down. Watched my ESPN. Because thank you, direct TV now.

And I get a text. Your plane's 15 minutes delayed. 15 minutes.

No big deal. Not a problem. Good to go by the way.

TSA pre-check. In MCO. You've been through MCO.

You know what that airport's called. A long time ago. One person in front of me, brother.

That is why TSA pre-check you must have. That's for the airport. That's for the airport.

Everybody's like, eh, take me so long to get to security. One person in front of me. Thank you very much.

80 bucks for five years. There's no reason you don't do it. Unless you don't travel all that much.

No, but you let her know you should do it. Because you never know when you're going to. Right.

And here you can use it at the Starbucks. There's concert places that will take your TSA pre-check. You don't have to wait in lines.

Wow, really? Because 80 bucks it lasts five years. And they're starting to expand it to more locations that have checks.

So that you could literally just breeze past security. Yep. Interesting.

And from the time I applied until the time I had my number was like three days. That's impressive. It happens when you have a clean record, kids.

And it also helps with certain four in locations. Yes, sir. So let's keep this thing moving.

So I'm like, okay, 15 minutes, I can handle this. Five minutes later, I get a text. Now my job, we have American Express business travel as a vendor.

Because we all have corporate MXs and things of that nature. Okay. Five minutes after American Airlines sends me a message saying my plane's 15 minutes late.

American Express sends me a text message. Hey, your plane's been delayed by more than an hour. Do you want us to call you?

Whoa. And I said, yes, please. Five minutes after that American Airlines is like, oh, you're now delayed till 905.

American Express got to me before the airline. That's ridiculous. So first of all, shout out to American Express business travel.

Because I'm going to even go one better for you. So the lady calls me. I believe her name was, uh, was it Lilian, I think?

She's like, okay, where are you? I'm like, I'm in the terminal. She's like, and this is about 430.

She says there's a 445, but I don't think I can get you there in time. I said, no problem. She was just a 520 flight.

Find the gate number. I'm going to call, I'm going to put you on hold. I'm going to call American Airlines and tell them you're coming.

Good. So here I am, Holland took us across the terminal. I get to the gate.

This lady did not let me off the phone until I had my boarding pass in hand. That's impressive. That is not, that is not an exaggeration.

That is literal. She did not let me off the phone until I had my boarding pass in hand. That's customer service at its finest.

So again, shout out to American Express business travel. They're amazing. So I say to the guy at the gate, I'm like, I know this has been last minute for me to change.

Is my bag going to make it with me? He says probably not. I said totally get that.

And you appreciate the honesty. Yeah, I'm not setting it up. There's a chance, but it's not likely.

And then I turn around in front of the show Jim Braggels on my flight. Even better. Get on the plane as she scans my deal.

The lady says, sir, are you okay with being an exit row? Yes, yes, I am. So I get on the exit row on the aisle.

So this is the second best possible scenario for me outside of being in first class. Right. So I'm on the plane.

And you know how like now you fly American and they've got those screens on the seat in front of you. Yeah. Well, I'm in an exit row.

There's no seat in front of me. This little bad boy pulls out from his seat. Wrong side right in front of me.

I'm like, we're going to do this. This is happening. And there's nobody in the middle seat.

Ooh, because nobody flies out of Portland on a Friday. It's like, yeah, I'm not a Vegas on the front. They're all coming in.

Yeah. Really nice guy sitting next to me. He went through the same thing I went through.

He was on my same flight. American Express business travel hooked him up. He's had to tell his buddy so his buddies could get changed.

It's like a weird Kevin Bacon thing going on. So what was this great fight? Yes, I don't do.

I'm always non-stop when I fly for work. Okay. I won't go any other way because layovers are painful.

So arrive in Dallas about seven o'clock, local time. Because remember, you lose the hour. Yeah, not bad.

You gain the hour. You gain it. So as I get off the flight, I get a text from American Airlines that says, your bags did not make it on your flight.

Totally get it. Totally expected. And at least they let you know.

Right. We will contact you and let you know what's going on. Cool.

Stop by. Get a little dinner on the way home. Get home that night.

Just beat. Beat. And the worst thing for me is my wife's gift was in my suitcase.

I was at Disney Springs. And I got her a picture of all the aristocrats and I said, Disney cat lady on it. That is appropriate.

She very much liked it. So yes, the bags did get out to say you just kind of buried the lead. Oh no.

Because this is where this is where the turn was. Whereabouts of beer. So I get a text at one thirty in the morning last Saturday morning that says, we have your bags.

They'll be delivered today. Go to this website, which is literally and write this down kids. Where's my suitcase dot com?

So I'm like, cool, whatever. Now should we include the any or is it just letters? For those writing it down.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Because the WWW was there's no apostrophe.

It's just the straight words. Good point. Yeah.

Now I'm looking at it now. So I wake up. Because I had it.

We had a board meeting that morning for who needs sleep. So I'm like, I'll deal with this when I get back from the board meeting because I've got nothing on my agenda for the rest of the day, except I want to go back to bed. I'm tired.

So go to the board meeting. Come back. And it says your schedule delivery time is 1 p.m.

As soon as your bags are assigned to an agent, you know, at that point, it's on this way. There's nothing you can do. It's on its way to you.

Right. Fine. So I'm like, well, I can't take a nap now because it's 12.30.

I don't want to just fall asleep and all of a sudden, here's the doorbell. One o'clock happens. Two o'clock happens.

Three o'clock happens. Four o'clock happens. Four thirty, I pick up the phone.

Now, I am exhausted to head at this point. Call the number on there, give them my case number. And the lady says, let me put you on hold for a minute, I'm like, absolutely, cause again, I know it's not the lady on the phones fault.

Right. And I try to keep, and I told people, keep that in mind, the person you talk to on the phone, it's not their fault. So she's like, okay, I've got the guy's name, I've got the gate that it's at.

They're going to get to a driver not a problem. Thank you They got stuff in there that I need right And to be fair I actually happen to be present for this phone call and she even said do you want me to have them Pulled a bag aside where you can come get it and not worry about somebody taking it Which I was I thought about it for about that long and I went you know what I said Do you have to use an hour from my house and she said the words? I do not want to take two hours out of your Saturday.

Yeah Respect. Yeah, no kidding. I forgot that you were there for that.

Yeah So I'm like okay, whatever And all I'm doing is I'm constantly checking this this website and it still says one o'clock of the afternoon Saturday It's dinner time Switching to 1 a.m. At this point. So I'm like I'm just going to bed.

I can't deal with this anymore So I get up Sunday morning Now this is pay-per-view day last week and I'm exhausted. I even I skipped church because I had to get this taken care of Call it the first person I call it 9 a.m. Couldn't have been nicer.

Still said 1 p.m. The day before on the website Where's my suitcase calm just remember First thing he couldn't have been nicer, but we got disconnected Uh-oh, which I wasn't mad. I mean it happens.

I'm I now supervise a call center I understand the bit. Yeah, I can't be mad like I get humble brag. Well, yeah, but you know, but I have to frame this properly So I call a second time which technically is my third phone call, but second on Saturday morning There were three within an hour.

I'll just spoil that for you now Second lady gets on it's like you're just gonna need to call us back in an hour Wrong I'm sorry what oh no, I'm like you can't alert me Oh, we don't have access to that you have the internet You understand what I've been through because you're reading what's on the account That was the worst thing she could have said no, I can think of where she was not budging that dog would not hunt and I prayed it God, I wish I'd remembered her name because I would have put it on blast So I now call back a third time within the same hour Girl couldn't have been nicer because again, I'm calling American Airlines what I find out is where's my suitcase.com Is a contractor that American Airlines deals with right they deal with several airlines, okay? Where's my suitcase calm here it? So she says okay, I've talked to the guy.

He has your bag in his hand It is now quarter to 10 in the morning on Sunday You've been home since Friday, right even She goes it's going out on the next truck. I said that's fabulous wins the next truck lead Three o'clock in the afternoon Remind you it's pay-per-view day The house is not ready to have everybody to pay-per-view so we have to go to docks again, right? Also when we get off air so you got seismic shift on the restaurant row, okay?

And then you also have to ask me about what happened after elimination chamber Because you weren't here for that story either you didn't get hit by another flying time. Oh, no, so you do not story. Okay, good.

We're good with that So Alex is coming to the house we have to pack the gear to get to do the show and watch the pay-per-view, right? So I tell my wife They told me it's gonna be on the truck at three Problem in the leap Go to docks house Drop off Alex's car because he had to leave early that night because he usually rides with me, right? We go to the wing bucket grab dinner because we got there really early Traffic was unseasonably light that day.

Yeah So we're on the way to the wing bucket. It's quarter to four and I get a text that says assign to a driver. It's on its way to you So I call my wife because I'm not gonna text my wife while I'm driving and I say honey.

It's on the way now Remember kids. I said to you earlier. It's about an hour from DFW airport to my house and Something tells me you were not the only stop on that guy's itinerary.

I find it hard to believe That I was the the not the farthest one away in my direction Because one would think if I were a delivery driver I Would do my deliveries from farthest away first and work my way back. Some people do it that way. I imagine some people don't Incorrect.

I get a text at eight thirty We want to clarify that's PM of the same night eight thirty Your driver's in front of your house Who then calls me to tell me he's in front of my house. I'm a dox So I'm like wait 30 seconds. Let me call my wife because that way because she's gonna hear the door He ate thirty and I'm uh that dog don't hunt go pounce it So I call my wife.

I'm like he's at the door now. She's like fine. I Was in Texas over 48 hours my bag had been here less than five hours less than me Which by the way my plan original plane didn't take off until almost midnight Wow, so shout out to American Express business travel again Because I would have been home till four in the morning, right if then if I was lucky But you would have had your back.

So where's my suitcase that calm can go pound sand as far as I'm concerned I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I want to point out chance with a very valid point You would have been very late.

Well, you would That's still might be an assumption Good point fair point. No, here's the funny part. He would have been looking into it They would have moved the bag to the other plane that got there before him Then they would have lost in the shuffle.

Yep, and you go experience things like for me It would be you know just getting to walk around the harbor whether I get to go back to Baltimore Or down in the Bahamas or I happen to like uh when Shawnee and I when I got to go to Seattle Then I got to see everything out there and I got to experience what real salmon looks like and having it stuffed with real crab and I'm sorry north west your seafood was amazing, but your crab takes suck um But the northeast thing if anything.
