My name is Rob.
I am the executive producer of the clubhouse podcast
and yeah, here's getting a little wispy.
I think we have almost got a full curl going on
in the back at this point, but I'm holding strong.
I'm only going to let a professional cut my hair
when I can do it legally because I like to be a rule follower
sometimes, but I am not alone.
Let's go through the day.
Yes, my co-host is here and I think he's going to sum up
the first four months and three days of the year
of our Lord very succinctly.
He is Alex, it's going on, brother.
I feel like I just needed to go ahead and advertise
exactly what we're dealing with,
but it has led to some positive
like these Zoom shows are pretty good,
kind of enjoying them, especially being at home,
but as a whole, it's right in this area
that seems to be fitting.
Oh, yeah.
That's an agreement.
Also with us is the official fact checker
of sooner or gator productions and a man who I asked
when we were in pre-show and I saw his shirt,
how are you not sweating to death in that thing,
but he says he's comfortable.
You may know him as Igboonu, but as mama name him Don Ford,
I'm going to call him Don Ford.
Hey, brother.
Hey, this was an Easter gift from the fantastic faith Ford.
So it's just a regular shirt shirt.
It's not like the Jersey has the buttons up front,
but still it's a cool little gift.
It looks kind of good.
It's like T-shirt material.
Yeah, it's a Jersey T-shirt,
but it's almost acceptable to tuck in.

One of my nieces, Paisley, today is her eight birth day.
And so Brian and Jodi had a big got together
with the first responders in their neighborhood.
So fire trucks came down the street
and the police cars came down the street
and all their friends came down the street.
So happy birthday, Paisley.
Uncle Rob mis is you very, very much.
And I cannot wait to see you guys again.
It just neat to see people come together
and do stuff for people.
So I want to make sure we send her a shout out.
And I thought originally I thought it was tomorrow.
So I'm glad I had Facebook.
Cause Facebook told me it was today.

Let's get into it.
We're just going to start with sports talk.
We're not dividing sports up
cause there's not much to divide right now.
But we will start with the NFL.
The NFL is saying a major announcement
is coming this coming weekend at some point.
It was Thursday, then it was Saturday, then Lord only knows
and we're going to go live to Rockwall, Texas
where Alex has a very special report, Alex.
Interestingly enough, I got a text from a friend
who happens to work for a large magazine company
that focuses on sports and releases an illustrated version.
So not highlights for children.
No, not at all.
It's too complicated for me.
We knew that.
But at the same time, this guy told me about a week ago,
I want to say, right after we got off air possibly Monday,
you're not going to Monday morning.
It was Monday morning when he got ahold of me too.
And it was essentially a, dude, you're not
going to believe this, but we may have to reschedule Vegas.
And I was like, what do you mean?
Because this is somebody who I meet up with those leagues.
And let's go ahead and clarify.
When you say that, you normally take a trip to Vegas
over the opening week, week one of the NFL,
with a lot of people that you're in fantasy leagues
with a lot of people that are in your circle of gambling.
It can be together with the better's competitions
and a lot of different degenerations there.
But he told me, because this is somebody
who has been plugged in.
And I refused to actually bet against at times
based on his sources that he used.
OK, fair enough.
But he said, everything's going to come clear May 7th.
It looks like the week one will be pushed back from Labor Day
weekend when it traditionally is to the middle of October.
And that the season would start on October 5th or 15th.
Excuse me.
That would be announced on May 7th.
There would be no buy weeks.
There will be no Pro Bowl.
And the Super Bowl will wind up at the end of February.
Now could this all wind up wrong?
Possibly.
But where there's smoke, there's fire.
And there's been a lot of other people
here in this information too coming from,
I assume other sources, because I almost said his name.
But yeah, I don't mind.
October 15th has eight Thursday.
Yes, well, it would be Thursday kickoff, which
would put October 18th at date, near and dear to my congested
heart at the first day of the NFL.
I'm sorry.
We got to one for me because in October 11th
is my wedding anniversary.
Right.
Yeah, so it's very interesting to see it pushed back
that far.
It'll be strange to see if that's just a safety concern
or if they think that they'll be able to get into like
pretty season games of some kind before then in September.
It'll be really interesting to see.
Now there have been some conflicting reports
as to whether it'll be released on May 7th or May 9th
for that schedule at this point.
But some of the early rumblings are
that you're going to get the possibly the standard schedule
released on May 7th.
With an addendum that says, if certain parameters are met,
the league will push it back.
And this will be the schedule then.
So we may wind up having the structure of how it is with some delay.
But we'll find out this week allegedly from the NFL.
Roger Gidell is now reported has not been drawing a salary
in almost two months.
You know, the guy makes a ton of money.
I respect the move.
Yeah, but do you know the background on this, right?
Go ahead and talk to him.
Oh, Roger Gidell, he started out as an intern
to become the commission.
Yeah, he was a millionaire before that.
But he's taking an unpaid internship would be the equivalent
of Bill Gates going in bagging groceries.
Right.
I guess that.
But it's the symbolism of the move.
Oh, no, I appreciate that.
But it's not like somebody who needs the money.
I understand that.
But regardless of whether he does or he does it,
this to me, it's the symbolism of the gesture.
You know, this week, we all three of us, for those of you
that don't know if you're joining us for the first time,
or you've just not really cared enough,
the three of us all live in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
We all live in Texas, Texas within the news this week
as being one of the states that started to reopen on Friday.
Two of the big companies here in the Dallas Fort Worth area
being Studio Ruby Grill and the Alamo draft house, both said
they're not opening this weekend.
And there have been naysayers that have said,
well, it's because they would lose money
by opening at 25% capacity.
So don't take this as the magnanimous gesture.
I don't care what the reasoning is.
At the end of it all, if you are doing your best
to preserve the integrity or whatever you want to call it
of your company, I appreciate the gesture.
Because Roger Gidell could have said,
you know what, don't care, you're going to keep paying me,
because this is what my contract says.
Exactly.
Regardless if he has a buck in the bank
or a billion bucks in the bank,
the gesture itself is the main thing to me.
I don't care if he needed to or not.
The fact that he did to me is the important thing, you know.
Well, and I'm not denying that it's a good move on his part,
but after, you know, so much flat coming from the very muted
man cave that was his basement on the draft,
which was allegedly created to try and make it look more normal
for a guy compared to what his house really looks like.
It feels a little bit jaded, but I do appreciate the gesture.
But I appreciate that too.
Well, but the problem is is if he wasn't getting backlash
for the basement, do you think he still would have done
something like this?
And if the answer's yes, then absolutely.
I don't, I don't care what the situation is.
I don't.
Like I appreciate the fact that he went to a muted room,
you know, because he could have pulled a cliff Kingsbury.
Yeah.
If you saw that picture,
well, interestingly enough, there was somebody else had
almost the identical house.
And I want, I can't remember who it was,
but I'll have to look it up.
You know, the fact that he went and said,
you know what, I don't need to be showing off everything.
Let's just go to a plane room and do this.
Now, no, no, the, the, the report was that they had to make
a room like that in his basement.
Because that's fine.
Yeah.
That's fine.
I'm okay with it.
But that's why some of the pictures on the wall were
allegedly still the ones you get from the, from Michael's
when you buy the frames.
Okay.
You know, because to me, the way I interpret that is,
it's not about me.
It's about the draft.
That's fair.
It's about these young men whose lives are about to change
on a level that very few people get to.
So why am I going to show off the 90 book cases
that I have at my house?
Why can't I have you focus on what's going on
on this screen over here instead of the sign,
footballs and the sign helmets?
I, I'm okay with it.
I don't care what the reasoning is.
And let me, let me just respect what it's saying.
I agree with, I agree with you, Rob, that, you know,
he's not taking a salary.
He, there's a lot of people suffering out there.
And there's a lot of, and the NFL by itself is a charity.
They're non-profit.
No, they're not.
Well, I heard they were.
Not anymore.
They, they went, they were, they actually pulled back
their tax exempt status two to three years ago.
Oh, do they okay?
The reasons I did that, part of the reason people are saying
that they did that was before that they had to show
their financials by not being that they don't have
to show their financials anymore.
That actually ended, I think, two seasons ago.
But him not getting paid, that money's probably going
to some charity or something that can use it.
I guarantee you.
I can either confirm or deny that.
And I think, regardless, he's still saying,
hey, these people aren't getting paid.
I'm not getting paid.
And I think all CEOs of these major corporations out there
who are laying off people left and right.
But some of them are.
Yeah, and some of them are.
Yeah, and some, but some of these people
that are getting paid while they're laying people left
and right, and they're getting their usual salary.
And so like a half salary or something.
Forget them.
Those people are like, I can't care less about you,
but these people like to tell, no matter the intent,
he's still saying, these people aren't getting paid.

The NFL actually gave up their tax exempt status in 2015.
Nobody actually knew about it until President Trump threatened
to end their massive tax breaks a couple of years ago.
And the NFL came out and went like,
we don't have any tax breaks and it's been four years.
All right.
OK, so let's go ahead.
James Winston, now a saint for a year.
So New Orleans, you may want to put,
if you have a publics, put them on notice.
Oh, dare you, sir.
My favorite's out of the week is I know that
James Winston has completed passes
to more New Orleans saints than Tessam Hill has.
Ooh, 10 to 7.
And that is true.
You can look it up.
James Winston put it out on Twitter himself.
I think this is a good move for him.
Did you hear the horrifying thing when they said,
how do you feel about this?
And he said, I'm going to learn the other side of the offense.
And now that I can, you know, see street signs
and license plates.
Oh, yeah, because you got the license plate.
Sorry, what?
The man was driving and couldn't see that.
And now, obviously, hit the critical
because I was in the same boat before these.
But the fact that he couldn't join it.
He's a billionaire either.
Well, that's also fair.
But at the same time, I think
he has a huge, huge possibility
to make a roar and come back at some point now
that he can actually, I don't know,
see the defenses uniforms.
Well, here's my thing.
I, what I don't want is I don't want people
to hold him to the same standard as Teddy Bridgewater.
Because I believe that Teddy Bridgewater
is a better quarterback.
But I don't want people to think that this is the same,
they're going to be the same exact thing
that happened with Teddy Bridgewater.
Teddy Bridgewater was already good
before he ended up going into play
for Drew Breeze when Drew Breeze was out injured.
This is going to be a learning process
for James Winston.
And even though he's a Florida State graduate,
I don't believe he graduated.
That's I said there air quotes.
I want him to succeed.
I don't want everyone to fail.
I mean, I want you to lose the Florida,
but I don't want you to fail.
By the way, Peyton Manning never beat Florida.
His brother did, he didn't.
I want him to succeed.
And he is willing to sit at the altar of Drew Breeze
because let's be honest,
Drew Breeze is the guy that will help you.
He's not...
Ancho and Peyton, for honest.
Yeah.
I mean, to me, this is a win-win situation for him
if he's able to take advantage of it properly.
And it's like one year, one million
or something like that.
I want to say it's one year for the minimum,
but there are escalators that could be like five million.
And Drew Breeze already has a post-football contract
in place.
They're just waiting for him to announce his retirement.
But that's the ball move too.
That's an absolute baller move.
Amazon has renewed their Thursday night football contract
through 2022, but here's the thing.
They're going to get one exclusive late season Thursday night
game just for prime video and Twitch
for each of the next three seasons.
I'm okay with it.
I can get it.
I mean, I got Twitch and prime video,
so I'm good with it.
I was just shocked if you were going to get it exclusively.
I'm not as surprised based on what a lot of the feedback
from the early Amazon video was with prime video.
They had some issues to start if you remember
with games cutting out or dropping different things like that.
This past season, they didn't have those issues.
But what they were able to do was to start streaming stuff
in 4K, then those games looked magical.
Kind of like NFL saw that in the future.
Kind of like James Bond films.
Oh, yes, absolutely.
Although did I tell you about that realization?
No.
So I, to play catch up streaming the James Bond,
they were only free in April.
Oh, dear.
So I got just about done just in time.
So we had breaking news on that.
Oh, hold on.
You can now no longer get the James Bond movies in 4K for free.
This has been breaking news.
OK.
However, there are a lot of parallels in high definition
on Netflix.
Yes.
So let us up.

Let us move on a little bit.
Talks a major league baseball latest rumors
is that there will now be three divisions total.
There will be no American league.
There will be no national league.
There's going to be 10 teams in each division for a season.
And they're going to centralize the locations of these divisions.
But the question then becomes.
How can we have a world series?
Well, you'd have the same setup with you spread it out.
But have you seen these 10 team divisions?
I have it.
I'm not a fan.
I love them.
Oh, I love.
Granted, I've got my, my braves and my marlins are now separated.
But I'm not a fan.
I'm wondering which 10 sets you've seen, because all of the ones I saw were geographical,
which still had Atlanta and Florida together.
The one I had had the marlins on the top.
I think I can't remember how they broke them down.
It was, it wasn't like East Central West.
Yes.
So it had the marlins in the East and it had a braves in the West for some reason.
That, that sounds different than what I saw.
There may be braves were in the central, but they weren't in the same division.
Interesting.
Well, either way, but at the same time, you would wind up having, I think they said it
would be, however they broke it out, would be two or four teams from each division, along
with buys and possible wild cards or different things like that.
And seeing how far they could spread that out, I love the idea.
I am a huge fan of geographical rivalries.
So the idea of realigning to make people in that same vein to where they have to play
people that are in close proximity and have that matter where fans can travel.
I know.
I'm on board.
I'm on board with that.
I just, you can't call this the Major League Baseball World Series because you're, you're
jacking things around so much that there's got no matter who wins this thing.
If this happens, it's going to be an asterisk.
Oh, I'm going to, I highly disagree, highly disagree because you're still playing a lot
of games.
You're still having a, it's not like, you know, basketball having a 20 game season and
then just picking the winner.
It's not like the NFL having four games and then just playing it.
They're still playing a relatively full season because baseball has that many and the idea
of expanding the playoffs for it.
Would there be an asterisk saying there was different structures, absolutely, but it's
still the World Series.
They're still having to beat the best teams.
It's, it just, it doesn't sit well with me.
It just doesn't.
And well, look at the bright side.
It's not your call on this one.
Somebody else's and you can disagree or agree with it as you see my braves come to town.
I'm still hacked about that.
Understand.
NASCAR will be going live in two weeks with no fans.
This is one of the few ones that probably can work successfully with no fans.
It's going to be weird, man, just because of the whole vibe of even watching a NASCAR
race at home, which I don't do often, but I've done often enough to be able to have an
opinion.
It's going to be weird, but I, but because I've, I've said all along that this whole eSports
thing that NASCAR is the only sport that can pull it off properly in parallel to what
could be what they really do because you can do the simulator, right, which they've been
doing and they've been doing very successfully, unless you're in banana suits winning.
Why not?
You know, have some fun with it.
But that's going to happen.
He's going to be now scheduled the Kentucky Derby now scheduled for Saturday, September
5th.
Do not care.
That surprises me.
I don't.
I'm not a fan.
I like the pomp and circumstance shout out Randy Savage.
I like the pomp and circumstance and the community of it.
I don't like horse racing.
I am not a fan of horse racing.
I don't mind it.
I've, I've always said it's the second fastest way to lose your money behind blackjack.
But unless you count war, I can't believe you can play war in a casino like that's just
and you know what's really crazy.
There's a game that falls between those wars.
The fastest Bacara is the second fastest then blackjack, then you're going to know about
Bacara means to the bone.
That's all I know.

I want to Vegas for my dad's renewal ceremony with my story, and the great great great
Murray, great Murray with me was with me and all that stuff.
True story, casino war.
I lost over 30 hands of casino war in a row because it's war, you're glossing over
the fact that he said, 30, which means he kept playing fair, and it's like a 50 50,
but it's just like flipping the coin and getting, you know, tails 30 times in a row or something
like that.
You do realize half of the games they try to figure out is number one, how to make money
off of people fastest, but number two, make it so that the drunk thinks they know what
they're doing.
Let's just look at the draw now.
Vegas, you know, for you to win, they get the spines of those that have lost everything.
And I will, I will say this, you know, in a different show of ours, you brought up the
Westminster Dodg show, the, that was on the cheek, that was about 30 minutes ago, the
Kentucky Derby is the number one longest running sporting event in this country's history.
The Westminster is number two.
Now, I think it'll preempt raw.
Hey, if the Kentucky Derby gets canceled this year, because the definition of sporting
event too.
But it is, it's the longest running competition competition, but there are, there are athletic
abilities involved, because if you watch Westminster, Westminster, and they do that, that obstacle
course thing, there's no obstacle course on Westminster.
Yes, there is.
Yes, there is.
You're going to have to prove this to me.
I'm doing it.

But that is the second longest running.
But the thing is, think of the Kentucky Derby gets canceled.
The longest running sporting event in this country will be Westminster, because they
hadn't right before and February before they outbreak.
Because the, the, the obstacle course thing, they do are like on Saturday, Monday running
uninterrupted.
And then they do, like, the Kentucky Derby has been like 150 years in a row.
The Westminster is like 10 years less than that.
So when they did the first Kentucky Turby every year, like far five to 10 years after
that, the Westminster starting, it's been every year, both of those have been every
year.
Not even World War II, nothing has stopped those shows that Kentucky Derby or 126th would
be this year.
Okay.
Yeah, whatever.
I mean, I don't know.
I'm just confirming.
But didn't they didn't Kentucky at least get moved in 45?
I don't know.
Because I thought I saw something on, and I don't want to say her name because I don't
want to light up the rest of my house.
But my, my, one of my smart devices.
I thought it said is the first time that Kentucky's been moved since 1945, not necessarily
canceled, but didn't happen in the first weekend of May.
But it's still been along this run.

So let's talk about the game.

Hey, now, let's talk a little bit about this proposed idea that the NBA is flirting with.
The NFL is looking at it a lot from a much farther distance.
One of the things that the NBA has talked about doing is equestering the teams in somewhere
like Walt Disney World or Disneyland and doing the games on campus.
So I was listening to McAfee and Hawk as I do three times a week Tuesday Thursday Friday
when they play on McAfee's podcast.
And you can watch actually the McAfee and Hawk sports talk show.
If you'd like to, it is available on YouTube, Pat McAfee, who hashtag McAfee from Monday
and the United Football now becoming a thing again, so I'm very excited.
I hope they hire him.

So AJ Hawk was saying, part of the problems that you're going to have with that is these
guys that are going to want to sneak away and maybe a little bit of, or whatever.
They're going to want to shine, camp this thing.
Correct.
I don't think that, to me, that's a non-issue because I want to, if I had been listening
live, I would have called in and said to AJ Hawk, have you ever been to Walt Disney World?
Now, Anaheim's a little bit different because Anaheim is structured differently.
I think your margin for error in Anaheim is going to be a lot bigger than your margin
for errors going to be in Lake Boinovista because nobody does lock down better than Disney.
Except the prison system.
If you have to argue that Disney is better than the prison system, it could be one in one
A. But here's the thing.
Disney can pull this off.
Disney World, Orlando can pull, if they're staying in Orlando proper, then you're dealing
with it all.
But if you're putting them on Disney campus, you can pull this off.
The players won't like it because they're not going to be able to come anywhere, but
everything that they have outside of the and it's going to be right there on grounds.
You know, I think it was McAfee brought up. Well, you can just helicopter somebody in there. No,
you can't. Disney is a no fly zone. You can't fly a plane. You can't fly a drone over Disney
without an almost literal act of Congress to get that done. So you would, I mean, the amount of
work you would have to put into that to sneak somebody into the the thing and then sneak them
back out is it's not equitable. Now, if you're going to do this and entice the players by saying,
hey, the park will be open. If I'm Disney, I'm telling the NBA, we'll do that. But you're cutting
the check for our operating costs because we've got enough money without loans to get us through
the end of at least the end of July. And we just got approved for another seven billion or something
line of credit. Yeah. So we're going to be okay. But I believe that at least from an Orlando
standpoint, this is doable. Anaheim might be a bit of a different animal on multiple levels.
California being California. I think this is doable. I just don't know if I need it.
Because then you have to answer the questions. Will they be able to bring their family? What
defines family? How long are they going to be there? Things of that nature? Because once you're in
to me, the way this is going to work, once you're in, you're in until the season's over and then
everybody leaves at the same time. Because you can't do well, you're out of the playoffs,
you can go home. No, no, no, no, we are locking this down until it's over.
Gentlemen, any thoughts? I'd be very curious to see how it works. I much like you think that
this would work perfectly with Disney because of how they're availability. And even if you wanted to
say, I don't know, use tunnels that aren't commonly known for the Disney parks, it would make it
a lot easier. They're commonly known. You can tour them. But what I'm saying is that's not
it. Not everybody knows that. You and I grew up in Florida. We know that.
Can you do the kingdom tour, baby? Exactly. But at the same time, they could do so much with those
parks that would make this work. You want to go off the wall. You could even isolate them to
Atlantis in the Bahamas. They ain't doing anything else either. And they hold the battle for
Atlantis with multiple teams every year. You know, it would be absolutely dope. They put a court
in front of the castle. And that's where you do the finals. I am the genius. Yeah, we're going to
need that. You know what the worst part about this is? You know what the worst part about this is,
though? Nobody listens to us. Not unless we have bad ideas. We're making fun of and they think we're
serious. Oh, we know people watch the show. We know we have. We have. I know, but that's one of
those good ideas that they never listen to. Is that a thing? Is that a thing? Circumstantial proof?
Did I just completely good? I don't know. Go go magic. Google.
Well, it's just like jumbo shrimp circumstantial proof. Oh, you said I you said that I, uh,
oh, it's called circumstantial evidence. That's what I'm saying. I put the logo of the buck
nakedness. I have my own finger on that one, you know, my own nothing. So I mean,
well, you know, you have a logo for buck nakedness. No, I had you said I had that.
I should know your words. No, okay. So I should you said when I did that one review of the,
mid-summer, and I talked about the buck nakedness, and I said, you should put a copyright or
whatever for that term, you know, and you should do copyright for that term also trademark it.
Trademark it. Trademark it. That's what I want to say. It's already known as circumstantial evidence.
So I want to say that that's circumstantial proof because I don't think that's actually a thing
that because that sounds like two things you can't do. So what we'll just move on, but I think
you can work. But yeah, I like that. You're the finals. Oh, that would be dope. Or if you can't do
the finals either in front of the castle or in front of spaceship earth. Because that would look
awesome too. In front of the globe. Yeah, front of the golf ball. That's for those that don't
know what we're talking about or laughing at. We're talking about F cut center. Yep. The spaceship
earth is what we call it God's golf ball. All right. So let's get into some entertainment talk
because we've been doing this now for 32 minutes if you can believe it. Big news for special
victims unit. We talked a couple of weeks ago how Chris Maloney is coming back to do his own
spin-off show that will deal with him leading a unit in the NYPD's mob unit. But in order to do so,
he will be on the season premiere of SVU this fall. For the season premiere of season 22,
Stabler will be back to set up the spin-off. I'm very excited about this. I might almost watch it.
Well, here's your other aspect of that. Is this a big thing that came about because of how successful
happy was with him on FX? No, I don't think that has anything to do with it. Well, you all know
what Chris Maloney can do. But at the same time, there was this aspect with him doing more over
the top stuff with happy that was phenomenal because he's an amazing actor. I mean, if you want to see,
if you want more proof of that, just go watch Wet Hot American Summer. Not a great movie, but he's
amazing in it. Fair enough. I'm not one of these guys that like, I'm going to slurp Wet Hot

The Parks and Rec reunion special that happened Thursday night. They did it as a fundraiser for
feeding America. They raised $2.8 million. Wow. So congratulations to Leslie Nopin, the kids over
Parks and Rec. That was a good show. I was done. I've been a fan of that show. Did you watch the
reunion special on Thursday night, Don? The Parks and Rec. Yeah, what's the whole thing? It was great.
It was a good because apparently it was one big Zoom call. Yeah, but how they had different
characters and even Tammy to show up. The whole thing. Oh, my yeah. You know, between Parks and Rec
and the office, those are the two that would work best on a Zoom call. Like, how bad do you feel
that we're not getting an office episode about this? If that happens, just put all the record
books down. I'm telling you now. Oh, absolutely. I would, I would try to find a way to buy stock in
whatever is handling that just because I know it would be gold. And you know what? I wouldn't be
surprised if it happens, especially now that Parks and Rec has done it and they raised $3 million.

Three. Hold on. I'm going to get to page up. Hold on. This isn't like what would happen to
the other studio. I think it's Krizinski that would be the bigger Poland. All right, here you go.
Spoiler in. Three, two, one. One, the coolest thing they did was a signal on to buy, buy,
little Sebastian. No. Yeah. This is that spoiler. That's
definitely be missed to the fear fan. I was never, I never got into Parks and Rec. I started
to watch the first couple of episodes and it was just too much like the office and I just didn't
care. I love everybody involved. It was just, you know, Ron Swanson, I mean, regardless, enough said.
Don, you are a horror movie guy. Yeah. HBO is going to be doing a hell razor series. Oh, really?
I saw this. And it's David Gordon Green, the guy that's done the latest Halloween
films. He's going to direct the early episodes. Oh, really? I'm very intrigued by this.
And they, you know, it's going to mean John who pinhead is. Yeah. Well, they haven't announced that
yet. They have renewed insecure for season five. I didn't want to say they've done four seasons
of that show already. I literally never heard anything on it except for the fact that it pops
up around other stuff I watch. Tonight is the season finale of Westworld. So, okay, you want my
honest, because I said I had to watch season two to catch up to season three. Uh-huh. I didn't make
it through the first episode. I've passed out. It's, this, it's like every, every season's gotten
a little bit more wheels off. I, I'm going to hang on because I want to see where this train stops
because this season, I just need a ditch friend of the show Brad Zable sent me a text that kind of made
my brain explode about where he thinks it might be going. If that's the case, I'm going to be
real interested to see how this works out. Uh, the, the only way, the only way I can describe
this season and it's the way I described the first two seasons of Legion, it's trippy.
Not on this, not in the same way. Legion was trippy, but this is trippy. Legion was more like
acid based trippy. And you know what, beast mode? Good job. I enjoyed his work on that show.
He's been I think three of the three of the seven episodes he was in. Everybody has always said
working with him is great. It's like, but he started popping up and other stuff. They were like,
he's so much better than you expect him to be. Well, it's the role he plays. Like it's like he
knows the lane and he knows how to stay in the lane. Well, but what I'm saying is you had a bunch
of other ones like before his comeback to the Raiders where he was doing the Skittles commercials
and everything. And I forget, I want to say it was Chris Pratt that he did, he did something with
and Chris Pratt was like, no, you don't understand. You think that this is possibly another one of
the athletes just rolling in to get a paycheck because who they are, he showed up, tried to make
sure he knew everything that was going on, make sure he was prepared. And it was like, is this the
same? Arshon were used to? I he did a great job. Yeah. And I'm looking forward to see how this
happens. I was doing the math and I was like, oh, I hope it's not next week. It's not it's this
week is next week is money in the bank. And and we are now almost halfway through the last dance.
Mm hmm. Episodes three and four. I didn't like as much as one and two, but still very entertaining.
The way episode three ends to lead into episode four was kind of neat. It ends with
Rodman leaving for his vacation. Well, I will also say I did I'm not going to make it.
You're not going to make it. I'm not going to make it the binge. I'm going to start watching.
Good. Good. I will tell you that there is one piece of it because and I we mentioned this
last week and Alex, I will tell you when she start watching, I need you to go and download the
after shows with Jalen and Jacobi on the 30 for 30 podcasts of feed because it's really
interesting the way they're doing. And none of the post shows are longer than 30 minutes. But it
starts with Jalen Rose talking about his experience during that time. And then the second half of it
is the director comes on and he talks about certain aspects of of the episode, especially when it
comes to the music. And I this is something I thought really interesting and I'm going to go ahead and
tell this and you're going to hear this in the podcast. But he said that the problem that they had
with a lot of the music, especially some of them the more deeper hip-hop songs is you have to get
clearance. If there's a sample, you got to get a clearance not only from the people that did that
song with the people in the song that they sample. So there was an ice cube song they wanted to
get and they couldn't get because they were at least at least 48 different people they had to
get clearance from. And they said there's probably more but they can't identify all of the samples
in the song to get it cleared out so they can find it because what will happen is I'll air it
and then somebody will sue and say that's part of that that that that that was my song.
So it looks like we have some breaking news. We go live to rock wall Texas Alex has breaking news.
The NFL has announced that by May 9th they will announce their schedule with a September 10th
start September 10th now. Wow. So we're getting started right after Labor Day.
Okay. Whether or not that actually holds they said that there will be there there is an unspoken
planned for that later October date but by February 9th or excuse me by May 9th they're expected
to announce with a September 10th opener and a February 7th Super Bowl. Okay. So we are still
talking about the last chance one thing I wanted to clear up is a lot of people were confused and
this is why I brought up the podcast that Jordan talks about when when Rodman was supposed to come
back how he had to go get him and a lot of people are interpreting that as Jordan and Phil Jackson
went to Vegas and got him out of Vegas and flew in home that is not the case apparently at the time
Rodman lived in an apartment that was right across the street from the United Center and he was
home. He just wasn't at practice and that's where Jordan had to go to get him.
I still love the idea of a variance like an offshoot of the hangover with him chasing Rodman down
in Las Vegas. But it's a really well done series. I'm looking forward to parts five and six
tonight and the lovely and talented Mrs. Irving's watching with me. So that tells you what kind of
how good this series is that she's willing to watch something like this with me.
So just a fantastic pay for it. She's in it too. It's really been impressive.
It has really been impressive and the level I guess it last week the level of transparency
that Jordan's been giving to it has been impressive as well. All right. Let's see where are we
on the run sheet. Interesting news coming out of NBC this week. We got the announcement of season
two of the Titan Games that will debut with a two hour special on May 25th. Hey Don,
guess what day of the week? May 25th is Tuesday. Back it up a day, brother. Monday.
And guess what time? Seven central. Head to head with RAW on Memorial Day.
What's that again taking the head to head? With RAW on Memorial Day. Who is Titan Games?
Hosted by the rock. Okay. Titan Games. Okay. I think this is going to be interesting to see
what happens. No done. Yeah. RAW is struggling. The RAW and NBC are going head to head with another
property that they have. Right. So the first one's going to be going head to head with itself. Yeah.

Network has said that their series Green Leaf, which is about a mega church will end after season
5. That was announced this morning. And big ups to the mountain. Oh, man.

week. We found out last was in the last couple of weeks that JJ Abrams will be doing a Justice
League Dark series for HBO Max. We're going to talk about that in Tech Talk and the complete
series of the sci-fi series humans this week, which I've heard good things about.
All right. Let's get into some music talk, gentlemen. Big news this week. Friday. It was
a Thursday or Friday. I think he was Thursday. David Coverdale was on the Bob and Tom show.
He has announced that he's been working with Rhino Records on three new compilations that
will be coming out over the next year of both White Snake and some of his solo work. The first
record will release in June. It's going to be called Red and it will be all of the more rocking
stuff from White Snake and from his solo career. The second one will be in October. It's going to
be called White and that will be all of the power ballots. So you want to guess what the third
one's going to be called? Nope. You don't want to guess? Nope. The first one's called Red. Second
one's called White. Oh, blue. I see that. Blue by you. He's very close. Chloralize it.
Blues. Blues will be the third one in early 2021 and it's going in the interview. He said that
there's going to be a new version of Still of the Night, which is one of my favorite White Snake songs.
But the way he said that they found he goes, we found an ending. That's how we talked about the
new version of Still of the Night. Because if you know the album version of Still of the Night,
it's seven minutes long and it just keeps going. So he said we found an ending. So that'll be out
in early 2021 and it's going to be completely remastered and remixed. So David Coverdale was very
excited about this project. I'm a big fan. Our guest from last week, Heather, she loves White Snake
and I texted her and she was very intrigued by this. And Rhino Records does a great job.
If you've ever seen any of their box sets or anything that they've remastered, their people are
on it. So I'm very looking forward to this. If you know people that use the website Bandcamp,
they will be waving revenue sharing on the first Friday of the month up until August. So
artists will be able to keep more of their money. So if you're supporting everybody on Bandcamp,
especially the first Friday of the month, they will be waving revenue sharing. So support your
artists that are out there on Bandcamp. We want to take a look at some similar to like pro wrestling,
please. Could be pro wrestling. Okay, the thing was Ray Donovan. That was a thing. They had seven
seasons, which they left it kind of, you know, a good season, Clifford. And then Showtime says in
February, canceled, done no more season eight, which was supposed to be the last one.
I believe Shriver is saying, Hey, no, there's going to be more Ray Donovan. So right now at the
moment, technically by Showtime, it's canceled, but there might be the season eight, which they
were expecting to do originally. Maybe they'll have a cliffhanger. Yeah, maybe they might bring it
back for the last season. It sounds like there's a lot of that going around, especially now,
especially with the Lucifer news, with on the eve of season five, which they teased as the last
one. Now all of a sudden, everybody's contracted for a second or a sixth season. Oh, I know.
Netflix won it. So supposedly they got the deal done. The only person that was left was Tom Ellis,
who is crucial to that show. But apparently they got the deal done. And that's why all of the season five
previews and everything have been pulled. And we should expect the season drop soon.
We want to say congratulations to the Leah Michelle. She and her husband, Sandy Reich,
are expecting their first child. So mostly top of those kids. Post him alone,
guys, that's from this area. He did a Nirvana tribute concert. I'm sorry, what? Great fine.
Is that where he's from? He's from grapevine, yes, which is out there for those of you that
not in the DFW, that's on the West side. He did a Nirvana tribute concert on YouTube last week,
and he has raised over $800,000 for the United Nations Foundation's COVID-19 solidarity
response fund for the World Health Organization. So congratulations. There's no reason this
like that guy. None. I mean, you could judge the face tattoos or anything, but everything he does
is just basically, I don't want to say genuine. That's the wrong way. But it's that nice guy you know
who just sometimes doesn't know what he's doing. And it's a very interesting news this week.
Interesting announcement that involves Mario Lopez, the people behind the voice,
and three arts entertainment. Go on. They are bringing back a reality singing competition
television series. Oh, don't. To bring back Menudo. Oh, God. That is not where I thought that was
going. Okay. Menudo. They're they're bringing it back. And you will never give me never hear me.
I bet he does a guest spot. Oh, absolutely. You will never hear me say a bad word about Menudo.
And we have we have told this story on this show before. But I have I can do the Kevin Bacon
connection to Menudo in one step. I'm sorry. What? I can't. When I work for what I worked for
a company called Incredible Universe in the mid 90s. For those of you that don't know, Incredible
Universe was a retail electronic store that was part store part amusement park like it was nuts.
I actually was a DJ and host and work and ran their karaoke studio with two of their stores.
That tells you anything. And that's actually where my karaoke career started in the mid 90s.
My boss when I worked in the Hollywood Florida show, which is now a Home Depot or a to their
Home Depot or it's a David Busters. It's right there. It's sterling in 95 out. I think that's a
brand smart now. Southeast corner. No, that if it was a brand smart, that would probably be a circuit
city. That's what I couldn't tell you right now. Brand smart was I know there was a brand smart at a
great fine news of tangent. My boss at that show was one of the original members of Menudo.
His name was Carlos and he told you had a nickname which you're hero name because everybody was
the hero of the universe. They still walk in Disney. His hero name was Menudo and I asked him
one day, dude, what's up with that? It goes because I was in Menudo and I went,
nope, nope, don't believe you. I was expecting the brakes on that one. The next day,
one of the young ladies that worked in the childcare because there was a place where you could
leave your kid for up to an hour while you shop. We called it the kid zone. She brought the very
first Menudo record on vinyl to work and there was Carlos right there bigger than crap.
I was like, okay, I've got to know. Why are you here? He was honestly when I aged out because the
thing about Menudo is once you turned 18, you were done. You had to get to leave the group.
He's like, once I aged out, he's like, I got offers to do work behind the scenes, do a solo
career. He's like, I just, I loved my memory so much of being in that group. I didn't want to
ruin them. So I just got out of the business. Was it Carlos Melendez? Yep, that was him.
He was there from age 12 to 15. Yep. And he said, I liked my memories and I got out.
He was one of the original five. Yep. And as there's 17 members at least, that is a baller move
and I respect it. 17 members at least. Yeah, because you couldn't be past a certain age.
You still be in the group. They just replaced you and they were everywhere. They had a cartoon series.
16. 16. 16. Yeah. So it's coming back. Get ready. Only one music new release this week that
made any sense to me that I can recognize. Haley Williams, lead singer for Paramore has a brand new
solo album called Pedals for Armour. Got that done for you. Movies. Let's just go ahead and talk
about the biggest movie news of the week right off the bat. Trolls World Tour has cleared $100
million in VOD in three weeks. That's pretty awesome. This has prompted the studio to say they
are not going to any longer deal with what's called the paramount agreement that says the studio
has to wait a certain amount of time after release theatrically before they will go to VOD.
They're talking, you know what, we're going to do same day release VOD and theatrical,
which has led AMC theatres and regal theatres to say they will not carry any for any future
universal releases if this is the case. So now let me make sure I am perfectly clear on this.
You're telling me AMC who prides themselves on IMATs and Dolby Cinema and regal. You're there.
Let me make sure I'm perfectly clear on this. You're telling me that you're willing to say Pupu
on carrying the next Jurassic Park film. Jurassic World was the third in that series.
You're telling me you're willing to Pupu and take a hard pass on Fast 9, which will feature the
one China. And after last week's announcement, you're okay with saying, hey, Lego movies going
forward, take it down the road. This will not hold up. Universal has way too much cloud. This
will not hold up gentlemen. No, it's a standoff that's going to wind up going nowhere. What they'll
what AMC will wind up pivoting to most likely is we're not just going to blank it, put any universal
in theatres. But you better believe by the time Jurassic World 3, whatever the quest for more money
or Fast 9 comes around, yeah, those are going to be in theatres. But there might be other
smaller ones where they're just like, you know what, maybe we wouldn't make so much on this
anyway. So we're just going to pass. But they would do that anyway. Well, no, no, but they had
prior obligations to run certain movies if Universal asked them to. It was part of their agreement.
If Universal wanted a theatrical run, they would put it in. Then they put it in one of the side
theaters that nobody went to anyways, but they would run it for the time that they were agreed to.
This just this isn't going to hold up. We have said for years, not only on this show, but just
in general conversation. This is the direction things are going, especially and I think really what
this agreement will boil down to is genre. A family focused film like trolls world tour.
If you're telling me I can gather my kids around the TV on a Friday night for 20 bucks
and watch a brand new family release. First of all, I'm now cutting my budget in half just
walking in the door. Two, the money I would have spent on concessions is now probably 80% cut.
By me just go into Kroger and getting some gummy bears and some popcorn and some sodas and here
we go. And some Oreos. Three, I don't have to deal with how my kids might act in the theater.
This is winning on every level. I'm still waiting for you to cover the donut endom.
And the hold on, you can pause it. There it is. Yeah. You know, kids can't hold it long.
I mean, this is Universal's going to win because they've already proven that the model works.
Absolutely. You made a hundred million dollars in three weeks.
Don, see if there's a budget on that film. For which one? Trolls world tour.
Which it has to have surpassed its budget. Oh, easily. I actually happened to have it up.
Okay. It's 90 estimate. So they've not only gone 10 million over the past the budget.
They're probably only 10 or 20 from being completely in the black because you're not worried about
all the promotional materials. Most of the promotional materials. And we even covered this on our
social media. You could download a PDF where you could have your own little trolls party at the house
with decorations and recipes and everything else. And you knew they were going to spend a ton on
promotion for this. Absolutely. They already had spent a minimal amount compared to what they
normally would have. But the fact that everything came to a screeching halt, they just stopped.
They just hit that red button. Nothing went forward. And everything was social media.
Hashtag Trolls World Tour. This, this even got me looking at it. I never saw the first one.
And I was looking at it. This is a big deal. And I think a lot more studios are looking at this.
And going, maybe we don't need to pay the theaters now. I'm I'm the kind of guy and we talked
about this last week on the show. I still want to go to a movie theater. See a movie. Get out.
I have a great home theater system in my living room. That has been serving me very well,
especially in the last three months. Right now I'm about probably tomorrow. We'll get into
Star Trek 5. So I'm not looking forward to all the odd numbers. But you know, but you know,
it's Star Trek 4. I'm not the guy that put Star Trek 4 on the pedestal that a lot of people do.
Oh, no, no, no pedestal. It was fun. I enjoyed it. But I actually enjoyed Star Trek 3 for what it was.
Very under Star Trek 3. And my friend Julie said this on my Facebook post. Very underrated. And I
agree with her 100%. I might have to rewatch that one. But watch it after two. Don't just watch it by itself.
Oh, I don't know. I'm not talking about it. Two three and four need to be watched in close proximity to
each other because the threads go all the way through. I'll be interested to see what some of these
other companies are going to do going down the road because I got to make your money back. Yeah.
Speaking of making your money back. Well, the thing is, you know, they still,
let's say they just do straight to video and AMC says screw you and all that and it gets nasty.
You know, they still make a lot of money on the theaters. You know, and think about it. They can have
$20 for a at home. But if they're to go to the theater, they might spend 60 on a mission. Right.
But you also have to remember the way the deals are structured. The longer a movie plays in a theater,
the less of the cut the theater gets. That's how the deals are structured. Yeah. And your other
aspect is is you think about how much data protection goes into it modern and the delivery
systems and everything along the lines that could get booted. If they don't have to worry about
any of that, they're going to be cutting some jobs and they're going to be saving on the top end. Yeah.
Episode nine rise of Skywalker hits Disney plus two tomorrow original plan was for not to hit
till at least next month. But tomorrow being intergalactic Star Wars day and everything that's going on,
they said, you know, let's just do it on May the 4th. Well, how was that not the plan originally?
Somebody tell me how that wasn't the plan originally. Trying to make you money. But the day,
I mean, yeah, it makes sense and it should. But there's also something else that hits tomorrow
that I'm more worried about watching. Go on. Tomorrow is the first part of the Mandalorian behind
the scenes, the Disney gallery. That day keeps tomorrow. Yeah. And then every Friday afterwards.
It's not like it's going to disappear. Yeah. But I'm that one I'm watching the day drops because
I mean, that's in the Mandalorian. I need some more Mandalorian in the life. So very excited about
that tomorrow. We now have the the writer of American hustle, Eric Warren singer has announced he
will be working on the script for now. You see me three. They have not said who's going to be
involved and who's not, but they, but it is in the works. I enjoyed both of the first two films in
that series. I did too. I'm just I'm surprised because if I remember correctly, the second movie
did not do well. I think it did better on home video. Okay. That also feels like that could have
been an international one. Did you ever notice in the second one, though, what was really funny
about their China? That's Slebson's I watched it. That's Dallas's skyline in the background. Oh,
is it really? I want to say it's Dallas's skyline in the background. Okay. I'll have to look that one
up. LeBron James this week announces that the Space Jam sequel will be called Space Jam
a new legacy. The only thing that man has done that's interesting lately is getting a Twitter
spat with Shaq. Alex, I want to do a quick correction. Minuto had over 30 members. Okay. Fair enough.
Sorry. Another problem. Alex, did you see the announcement for this week's episode of HTTGM?
I did not. There's the next movie that will be watching speaking of animated and live action
interaction will be cool world. See, okay, real quick, it was China. Okay. But hold on a second,
I'll just leave that. But no, that there's a soft spot in my heart for cool world. There, but
I can't wait to hear them talk about it. But it's speaking about that. The other show that
Paul Sheer does, unspooled. They've been doing extra bonus episodes on YouTube where they've
been taking other other movies that aren't on the AFF type 50. They did big. They did clueless.
And this past week they did for the 30th anniversary of its release. They did House Party.
And you know how I feel about that film. So I tuned in for all hour and a half of it yesterday.
Oh, I was very disappointed. Well, they had Reginald Huddlin on and that interview was really
interesting because there's a lot of things I didn't know. Like that was he did a short film
of House Party as his thesis film at Harvard, which is what led to that might be my favorite
sentence that has ever been said. Yeah. So he went and got that and that's when they got the
clearance to go do the movie and then they went to Sundance and everything else.

and play. The only thing I can say about that interview.
Roll in the duties. Kid is a big fan of it. He had a picture of the Mona Lisa holding a joint
behind him. He was very sweaty. He was very pale. And there was a lot of stream of consciousness
going on. Technically, he's always been really pale. So, but I mean, more than normal.
That's hard to do. It was rough. I just I wanted so much more from that. And it just
didn't get there for me. So, well, do you think that there was a possibility that this was one of
those that you already know a fair amount about it? So, you're not really going to get much?
There were some stuff I learned. I just wanted more from the presentation of it. I wanted more
discussion of it. And I just didn't get the discussion that I wanted. Because that is one of my
favorite movies of all time. Somewhere in this house that I think it's in the toy box that's in my
closet here in the studio. I have the actual film of the trailer. That's insane. I have it.
Because I worked at the movie theater at the time. And it might have went missing.
I will neither confirm nor deny. That's how I got it. I think we're post facto. You can
admit it. I think statute of limitations is way up on that. Yeah. But I have the

No, I have not. This came down yesterday. Well, they can't say Spider-Verse, can they?
It's called the Spider-Man universe of characters. So it's the suck.
Now it can be the smoke. It's there's a life in there. It's suck. They named it suck.
Sony, Spider-Man universe, Sony, named something suck. So I just want to I want to make sure we
get that out there. I would like to look at the title of this in the wake of this. In the wake of
this, I would like to announce that we are now changing the name of this show to podcast of things
of pop culture-ish nature. What the what the is going on right now? How is it going to be
black writing on a white background with stars at the top and the bottom that you're only going to
be able to find at Aldi? What is going on right now? Why does this even need a name?
Because something needed to suck. The Spider-Man universe of characters suck as you see.
This sounds like something that you would name a traveling carnival ride so you didn't get sued.
Like we told you it sucked. This is a ride of a man that looks like a spider and his
universe of characters. And the model this be the name of God is going on right now.
Suck. And you know what the funny thing is? It's going to be the Spider-Man universe of characters
by Sony sucks. God. You know what? I can't talk. I can't talk that. I can't. Alex has found the
pinnacle of comedy for this episode. He has planted his flag. I can't keep going because I
have reached my pinnacle. Now it would just be trying to drive it in the race. Also brought to you
by sucks. How many eyes did this have to go through? And I know it's even worse. No, no, you know
it's even worse. It didn't. Where have we been? Where has the world been for the last two months?
This has gone through at least multiple emails. But what I'm saying is this is one of those
ones where it's the email where it's like, yeah, it sounds good. They don't even read it.
This is the one time the email first person I've heard say that. This, okay, this is the first time
the email should have been a meeting. Like I said, I haven't heard anybody else call this out.
Wait, and this story is now two days old. This story is two days old sucks. Wow. This is amazing.
This is absolutely. I'm so glad I'm standing because now I can step back. I can see on camera.
And you know, that's a hundred percent true. These dudes are looking on their, you know what they're
doing this. They're here. We're going to go interaction. We're like, okay, there's, uh, yeah.
Yeah, sure. Approved. Approved. Why isn't this working? Where's my assistant?
Wow. We got you know, I went to the show and I got nothing. I got nothing. You know I'm a hundred
percent right. No, you hear me debating you? No, that's fair. You have not.
Like you just stuck the landing, sir. Yeah, I've peaked. I'm going to have to retire from the show.
You know what you just, you know what? I end on sucks. You just had, you just had your who needs sleep walker run moment.
Right then. My what? Yeah. Don't I tell you that story that we were. Oh, okay. Yeah. Five.
Pay thing. Yes. Who needs sleep walker? Yeah. Oh, man. I'm really proud. I just don't know.
I'm somebody has to.
Like don's over there going, hey, it's not me this week. Don's dying. Every time,
every time the word sucks comes up, he just starts giggling a little bit and it makes me happy.
Now, he still doesn't know the name of the other show. Let's not, we're not discounting that. That
doesn't make that. What other show? Exactly. DVD and blue right new releases in places you get
DVD and blue right new releases this week. The KJ opa vehicle I still believe, which is the story
of Jeremy Camp, which I absolutely loved. Go watch this movie this week. It is, it is so much more than
a faith-based film. It's a beautiful film. Gary Sinesis in it. The great Shania Twain places mom
in this. Shania Twain and Gary Sinesis playing your parents. You're going to have a good day. I'm
just saying. But a great also be the best sequel to Forest Gump ever. A wonderful, it's a wonderful
film. It's so well told. I'm not afraid to say there were many, many moments that I was like,
I'm not crying, you're crying. And I'm not even going to, I don't even want to ruin the story
because it's such a powerful story. Go watch this movie. And I'm a, you know, I'm a big fan of Jeremy
Camp. The band does a couple of his songs. So, and he is, the guy knows how to write a song. I'm
just saying, and it was really neat about this film is because it's about the early days of Jeremy's
career. I would love that he's one of those. If I could do a, do a spotlight of a sort of him,
it would be a great day. You get to hear early versions of his songs as he's writing them.
And KJ Apid does all of his own singing. I've actually got the soundtrack. I download the soundtrack.
Oh, that's I, that's a ringing endorsement. I have it in my phone right now. A dog's courage.
This is an animated film that is, it was a Japanese film that was redone for American audiences.
And friend of the show Brian Massey has a good buddy of his in it. So, I'm going to make sure we
plug that. The Jesus rolls hits DVD and Blu-ray this week. This is the pseudo sequel to the big
Lebowski. No, it's not a pseudo sequel. It's a legit sequel. It depends on your definition of
sequel. It's more like a spin-off film. But what I'm saying is if you're saying sequel because
it's existing in all the same characters universe and everything else it is, but it's not a story
continuation. And the criterion collection releases Eric Romer's six moral tales. This is six
films all in one set. The bakery girl of Manso Suzan's career, my night at mods,
La Collectionous, Claire's knee and Levin the afternoon. I'll six of those films in one
collection from the criterion collection this week. A couple of Tech Talk mentions as we're
getting close to time here. The last of us, too, has a release date. They've announced in the
last couple of weeks that there will be a film and we've got the release date for the sequel game
will be released on June 19th. Alex, was this one that you played? Because I know you're giving
a lot. I heard a lot of good things about it, but it was in that same vein. It was on Sony,
but it wasn't on Xbox. So I didn't, I wasn't in that. Oh, that's right. You don't have a
PlayStation in your house, do you? I do now. It's a very, it's a very recent edition, but I've
been too busy to turn anything on just as Sean. Apparently MS Word is now going to be marking you
if you double space after a, after a sentence. Apparently double spacing after the period is now
wrong. This is the way I was taught. This is the way we were all taught. But from what I've,
what I've read and what I've heard, do you know why that was a thing? Why, what was a thing,
removing the second space or why, why you had to double space after a period.
I want to say I heard this before, but go apparently it was done in the age of the typewriter.
Because if you didn't hit the space twice and started typing, it would jam up the keys.
So they just made it a standard that you double spaced after typing. Yeah.
And it just became a thing. Well, apparently that's not correct. According to these kids with
the clothes and the hair and MS is going to flag it. MS Word is going to flag it. I'm still going
to do it because it helps that separate your senses better. I do it on Twitter. I don't care.
At me. Is that what the kids are saying at me? I don't know. But at the same time, this is one of
those ones. It's how I learned it. I don't care. Why does it matter to you? I think it looks nicer
that way. Yeah. The same. It gave me that pause to breathe. As we know HBO Max is this is the
month for the debut of HBO Max. We've got some pricing now. All right. Let's do it. If you are an
HBO subscriber, you don't have to worry about the pricing. I am also an AT&T unlimited customer and
I will be getting it for free. So I got that going. Oh, so we're going to get HBO Max for free.
Yeah. According to the email I got from AT&T a couple of weeks ago. Sweet. Because I already
get HBO go for free. Well, I'm already qualified to work for Sony. I don't pay attention to my emails.
So yeah, well, you win that. But it will be 1499 a month if you don't have HBO. Which I like
because now we're getting cinematic stuff, too, because I want to watch shows like Black Monday,
which Paul Sheer and, uh, and, um, Oh, geez. Don Cheetle. Don Cheetle. I love Black Monday. That's
that's that's like up there with billions of me. But if you pay for it for a year, you can save
20%, which is the right model, which, you know, which drops it. I believe in 1199 a month if you
space it out over 12 months. Right. But at the same time, it's one of those where it's like,
you should be benefiting from paying ahead. Right. You should have that option. And if you can't do
that, you shouldn't be penalized too much. And I believe that the, the debut date is right before
Memorial Day, because of the end of this month. Uh, there are also HBO Max is also going to be the
ones carrying the, uh, the unscripted friends reunion show when it actually happens. Oh, really.
