We're going to mix it up on you a little bit.

It's a quick note here.
Actually little breaking news.
Less miles not leaving LSU.
Yes, I have a little bit on that.
Brady Hoke.
They got their Michigan man.
I don't know if it was the one they wanted.
But they got him.
San Diego State's coach.
Former Ball State coach hired with a losing record.
Also.
And the rumor now is
some people inside sources are saying miles was never officially offered the job.
That's what they're saying.
Yeah, but then they're saying it.
Well, he said last night during the national title game when they kept breaking in.
Well, if I'm offered, I'd take it.
If it's offered to me, I'm going to take the job.
I think at that point, if you're not offered the job, it's probably not going to come to you.
Well, I'm going to tell you this.
I don't know.
I don't know if Michigan.
And I know it's going to be like, catch a lot of flack for this.
I don't know if Michigan's an A job anymore.
We've talked about that all season.
And I agree with you.
I just got that program.
It's got a long way to go to come back.
Now they're facing more sanctions.
That's going to set them even farther back.
Yeah, I just I don't know if Michigan's that A job.
It was two or three or five years ago.
But LSU, Les Miles, SEC.
And if you're LSU and Les Miles,
are you having a little awkward turtle moment right now?
Yes, well, you got to understand what was said is true and what's a little bit more of that four-letter
network kind of indulging a little bit might be the right word.
Well, also, you've got coaches in there.
There was a coach that was quoted today as saying, I'm not going to lie and say,
I'm not severely disappointed right now.
This was a guy that had had email correspondence with Les Miles
urging him to take the job.
And a job that at this point, we're not sure he was offered.
So you've got that situation.
I think Michigan's going to be a very volatile place this next year,
because I think with Brady Hope coming in, like you said, with a losing record,
although he did get San Diego State to a bowl for the first time in the
since the creation of Man.
I think there's going to be some resentment.
I think if if you're Brady Hope, you almost have to clean house.
I just, good, you have a lot of people that were behind Les Miles.
Les Miles is a Michigan guy.
He was a guy that they looked at before they hired Rich Rodgers, I guess.
I think you almost have to clean house.
Yes, played under Bo Shembeck or Zaline, then coach there in the mid in early 80s.
I just think that I think Michigan LSU's got too much going.
They've got too much coming back for him to make a move to Michigan in the big 10.
I mean, it's to make any sense.
Like him.
I know some people don't, but I like that crazy.
You know what?
I think he's great for the college football.
I think he's great for the youth.
He'll do it.
He will pull trickery on you.
Now that we've got the big headlines out of the way,
let's talk about what happened just about 24 hours ago from the time we're on the air.
Yes.
Have a little bit of a, of a, to do there in Glendale, Arizona.
A whole lot closer than I thought it was going to be.
Well, I mean, I think we, one of us had 45.
The other one of us had 42 point total.
So one of us hit it.
The almost had it.
The over under was 73.
So if you took the over, you lost some cash last time.
As Auburn wins the national title over Oregon,
19 to 16, which in our bull pickup puts it at a push.
So we've actually had two ties.
I lose by four games.
I was hoping I'd get that one so I'd win by three.
I lose by three, but that's okay.
I'm entertaining, enjoyed it.
I'll tell you there's a couple things that I will, that stuck out to me during the game.
One of them was how absolutely Auburn dominated the point of attack at the offensive and defensive
sides of the ball.
In the second half.
I texted you in that second half and I said right now,
Oregon can't get out of its own way.
There were so many mental mistakes that Oregon was making.
You're right down in the thick of it.
You're on the two yard line.
You've got a Heisman runner up as you're running back and he doesn't touch the ball.
Why?
It seems like they just didn't want to get him the football and I didn't understand that.
I kind of was like, why, why isn't Le Michael James getting the ball?
He did not touch the ball.
Yeah, why isn't he getting the football?
Is he hurt?
No, he did go out with the hand injury in the third quarter.
One thing that I did see that was discouraging and I'll be honest with you.
I believe this when it happened since the Georgia game.
Nick Freiley's one of the dirtiest players in the country.
Penalties.
Penalties was going to kid.
Personal fouls was keeping Oregon in that ball.
Absolutely.
And I thought the same thing.
I don't, and I'm that's not an indictment on Auburn, Auburn fans, Auburn coaches,
anybody.
I just think you've got some guys there that are a little chippy.
That's all.
I mean, and we had another situation happen last night that you mentioned from another game
last week when we were talking about TCU.
You're right down there.
And you go into the shotgun?
We worked.
It worked, it worked.
But I was just like, did we not look anything from the rose ball?
That was a strange game and I'm going to tell you this was not a cam Newton
dominated performance for Auburn at all.
That's going to be one of my next points is I really believe
Tam Newton, his stock plummeted in this game.
Nobody, and this is, and this is, I'm an SEC guy.
This is a team that came from the SEC.
And when I say we beat up on each other so much that by the time you get to a national
championship game, I'm going to tell you something.
Nobody was hitting him like Oregon was hitting him.
I've always said that in my opinion, the SEC is a war of attrition.
I've said that for a long time.
That is a very tough conference.
They've got a lot of great teams.
They win a lot.
The hitting's hard guys are faster.
I did not see that last night except at the offensive and defensive line.
I didn't feel like when you saw Florida or you saw LSU or you saw Bama.
I didn't feel like Auburn was just this dominating SEC monster
that I've become accustomed to seeing in national title games.
And really, the last night also furthered my
iron for Brent Musberger.
Yes.
You would swear if you were listening to that game on the radio,
that...
Tam Newton was the only person in the field.
Yeah, and they really, I think the one thing about the four-letter network is
they want that story to keep going and keep going and keep going.
I think they did a horrible job with the BCS games all of them.
And I also thought it was interesting how
Musberger, they cut to him and Herb Street in the quote-unquote studio
talking about Kim's daddy at the hotel watching the game.
Well, what was the first thing Kim did when that thing said fourth quarter zero zero zero.
He ran into stands and hugged his father.
I think you might want to get your back straight just a little bit.
I think that's not a done issue and I'm saying this tongue in cheek.
I don't think this investigation is over.
I agree.
I think there's just some things going to come out.
And I said this from probably the probably the Georgia game on.
I wouldn't buy a coffee cup.
I wouldn't buy a paperweight to be sure to have with all bird national
championship on it.
I wouldn't do it for three years.
And with this it's just like the situation with Reggie Bush.
If this comes out and we're still saying if we want to be you know
as objective as we can as quote unquote.
I don't have a dog in the fight.
It's going to screw up things for a lot of guys that work their tail like that.
You punish the innocent.
I think another thing to look at too is I listen to a lot of different radio day from all over.
That's the main question being emailed in text or radio shows across the country.
When does it happen?
When does it get stripped?
I think it's not just me.
It's not just Rob.
It's not anybody.
That's a question going through a lot of college football sports minds right now.
When does this other shoe drop?
I think this thing's got a three year shelf life.
I think they learn from the Reggie Bush thing.
They have to be more expedient.
I think it goes from five years to three.
If this comes out and it's still possible that it may that that it may come out.
It's it's all my problem is it's difficult for me to believe
that cam was not complicit on some level.
That's true.
I agree 100 percent.
But back to the Oregon thing here.
I thought Oregon went into the game a little too riverboat gambler for me to find that for me.
They're going for two on your first touchdown.
There was just some things.
I thought they were putting a lot of Kelly which was over analyzing things.
Well, I think he was doing a lot of trickeration early that he didn't need to do
because the reverse wasn't biting.
Well, no matter what kind of trickeration they were trying to work.
Auburn was not if I had the reverse on the kickoff.
That failed.
Yeah, and then I think a pivotal point in the game was I've got it down 19 to 11.
I'm taking my points for thing all I'm kicking the field while I'm making it a one-score game.
I don't understand why he went for a I don't understand it.
What was going through his mind to go for a touchdown at that pivotal point in the game.
I didn't understand that either.
Also, I honestly believe fairly number five.
Two of the luckiest plays in college.
No, you're talking about what was they running back?
Well, fairly I'll get defensive tackled.
He dominated the football game.
Yeah, in my opinion.
He dominated the football game.
Like you said, kept them in there.
kept them in there because of a couple of first of fouls.
And then all of a sudden it looked like, man, I think that I think they're going to come up
and they're going to win this ball game.
And the next thing you know,
it's a tied ball game where I really honestly think that the Oregon quarterback at that point
time, he'd do a prayer in that end zone there to win that to do what he needed to do.
The play that's going to always get all the all the talk.
All the talk is going to be one one play.
And I think the play was set up a few plays earlier.
I will say this.
I think Cam Newton did get hurt because you noticed.
The fourth quarter, he hardly ever, he did complete it.
Yeah, he was limping a bit.
Well, he also, he did complete a pass.
He never made, he never just made a big to me, a big throw.
You know, to me, he never made a big throw.
I did think at times he showed poise in the pocket.
I don't think the guy is just a lost cause.
But Michael Dyer, in my opinion, number five.
Okay, that's number five, I'm sorry, I got that.
Michael Dyer, in my opinion, to the luckiest place ever.
Yeah, and played, didn't play like a freshman last night.
22 carries 143 yards.
He had, he averaged 6.5 yards per carry.
He came out with a game face.
I thought he played very well.
I hated to see Oregon lose on a judgment call.
I believe both of those were the right call in my opinion.
But you let the referees take the ball game over there the last two minutes.
And that's the sad thing to me.
People are saying, where does this rank with Texas and USC and this and all these classic PCS games?
I think a lot of people giving, giving the edge to that game was because there were more points scored.
Yes, to me, though both games were very exciting.
I still contend that that game, Texas, USC, is the most exciting college game I've ever watched in my life.
But this one is probably number two in BCS games as the most thrilling BCS title games I've ever watched.
I didn't get that for some reason.
I didn't get that feel because after the, after the, my, it might have been the right call,
but when everybody's standing around looking at each other,
you have, you have Auburn players back in the huddle.
You have Oregon players on defense back in the huddle and then you have a guy streaking down the field.
At that point, the ref stops your progress below the whistle play over.
But I'll tell you what, that will stick him, that ruined this game.
I'll tell you what, I don't think he was the offensive MVP of the game.
I think it was that receiver from Oregon.
I liked him.
I think, to me, that was the offensive player of the game.
When he, when he hit that 81 yard pass play and ran it in,
that's put, put them back in the game.
That put fire back in the game.
But hey, 233 days till next season.
Exactly.
So, congrats to Auburn.
Hey, SEC wins it on the one.
I just, I just got bad taste in my mouth after this one.
We'll see what happens as, as only time will tell us.
You know what was your, this see, I want you to pick two things.
Biggest surprise this season, biggest letdown.
Anything, anything about.
Biggest surprise this season, to me, was Stanford.
Yeah.
Did not see that coming.
Andrew Luck is a beast.
Yeah, I want to see him at the next level now.
I think without their coach, I think they step, step, step back next year, maybe.
Do you?
I hope not, because I don't think Harbaugh's a, a football genius by no means.
I just kind of wonder, I kind of wonder if he went in the life blood of that thing at times.
That's all.
Who is your biggest surprise of the year?
My biggest surprise this year, and it's not, and like I said,
I don't have to pick a team winner losses.
One of my biggest surprises this year was the fact that you,
you had so many different things going.
My biggest surprise is, is from the one Florida State.
I think Florida State, actually, Jimbo Fisher.
See, I had, I mean, if you remember, I kind of, I said,
those were, that's the team I was going to watch this year, because I was very intrigued.
Them doing what they did did not surprise, and in another thing,
what, on this, I'll say this, the big 10 being that bad.
Yeah, that surprised me with, with as many supposedly NFL,
they're the biggest NFL ready at certain positions in the country, conference.
I just didn't see that.
I didn't, I didn't see that.
This is my biggest disappointment of the year.
You think, Texas?
I thought it would be a rough year.
I didn't think it would be this bad.
Yeah, that thing got, well, you talk about throwing out the baby with the bath water.
Yeah, after that UCLA game, that thing got nuts.
There were no wheels.
There were no axles.
It was just, it was just scraping.
Yeah.
One of my biggest disappointments this year, I've got two of them.
I've got, honestly, one of the, one that sticks out the most,
the NCAA at all as a whole.
I think you had two instances this year to really make a statement
with the Cam Newton situation and the, in the situation at Ohio State.
Yeah, I really thought the NCAA had a chance to really make a statement.
And they didn't do it.
Well, the statement they made wasn't the one we,
the statement they made was no, no big deal.
We're worried about people TV ratings and people watching games
then didn't show in young, young men and women what's right.
And another big disappointment, I mean, a big surprise to me
was that it's over.
This year flew by.
Man, I'll tell you what, I didn't do it.
After the second week of October, this thing got in the express lane.
It was over.
But we now anticipate next year.
I don't thought of the season.
What's one thing that'll stick out to you?
First of all, the speed of it.
Yes, you know, it was fast, it was furious.
I think this is one of the best college football seasons I've ever watched.
I think that us having this show played a bigger role in my enjoyment of college football.
You and I have talked to college football for years.
Just getting the chance to see some great matchups and see
the anticipation of both season, how everything
by October 1st, it was all up in the air.
Uh-huh.
How some of these, some of these games came down to Thanksgiving day weekend.
It was a great year.
I had a blast.
My final thought of the season is how many freshmen players played and made humongous
impacts.
Michael Dyer at Auburn.
You know, you had dips at Florida.
You had a Roy Finch at Oklahoma.
You had all, I think, uh, Jackson Jeff Codit, Texas.
I mean, you had so many freshmen guys coming out of high school and really playing
for marquee programs and really making an impact.
And that's one thing that I'll remember is, is the old time, the old red shirts
sit on the bench, learn the system days.
Those days are over, months.
Yeah.
Well, and that's that way with the NFL, too, as we talked about with the whole Matt Ryan thing.
Great season.
Great season.
As the food fighters are saying,
we'll be looking forward to the next year.
What was the NFL said in their first year of the NFL network?
Did they have the Super Bowl?
Tomorrow.
We're all undefeated again.
Exactly.
And we are officially all undefeated again.
Don't really want to get into plus one TCU talk.
I think it's been beaten to death.
Yeah, you know, Auburn's a national title.
They're the national champions.
They are, they are your national champions.
They played the, they played within the rules.
I think both those teams beat TCU handedly.
If you will, let me say that, I will say that.
I don't think TCU, TCU, didn't have what it took.
My opinion.
We'll never know.

Because I was at a dead stop and I'm in a lot of pain right now.
Plan hurt tonight.
Don't text and drive.
It's a terrible thing.

Nobody was injured in this accident.
My car's in the shop.
There's three other cars in the shop right now.

They've got to figure out what they're going to do with him.
They can't keep bouncing him around angle to angle to angle.
I think right now he's still a mid-carter and best.

I've heard nothing of good things about him.

This next story, I want you to handle because you know a little bit more about it than I do.
Apparently there were some dealings with Samoa Joe and the WWE.
Yeah, I think Joe, you know, he's been to me the past six, especially through this immortal
bit. I think he's been totally misused.
But I don't think it's kind of, I say that tongue in cheek because I don't think the guy has
very much to offer to begin with.
You know what I'm saying?
I just don't know.
I don't understand what he brings to the product.
I mean I've heard people tout him to me as the greatest thing.
But ever.
Yeah, he's decent in the ring.
He's passable at best on the stick.
There was some people there at one time
that were really high on him and in WWE, those have now gone away.
Vince would not okay, did not okay the offer for him to have a contract.
So WWE had zero, now he obviously had some type of interest in WWE, but WWE had zero interest
in Samoa Joe.
Let me ask you this.
365 days ago, is that a different situation?
Yes, you think a year ago if this same conversation happens, Vince goes the other way?
Yes, just from a stealing talent standpoint, from a total keep away he plays for my team not
your standpoint absolutely.
I think that's back.
So you think now, and you know I may be inferring things here, but are you saying now

So in my opinion.
Mickie James, as we move along, I don't know if you've heard this story or not,

now she is now vying for the film role of Wonder Woman.

She is regressed so much since being at TNA.
And let's say first of all, that movie's got to get off the ground.
That movie's been through so many hands that I couldn't even tell you who's currently attached to it.

To enter his guilty plea.

But only has any effect at all.
I think he works for Vince one more time.
But once Vince buys out TNA, he won't have much of a choice.
But yeah.
Well, let's talk about said impact last Thursday night.
We found out that Jeff Jarrett's opponent at Genesis
would not be Joe.
It was actually to be Kurt Angle.
And because it was going to be a quote-unquote exhibition of MMA.
Didn't really care.
No.
Motor City machine guns were in action.
Let me ask you this.
Is there anybody in the business that can keep up with these guys?
I like them.
I'd like to see Vince get a hold of them.
He just right about them.
Fast, furious.
Some of the best tag team maneuvers I've seen in years.
Right now, and as much as I love beer money as a tag team.
Right now, I've got to give the edge to the Motor City machine guns
as the best tag team in the business today.
I'll put them up against anybody currently on any roster.
They will bury them.
From a pure...
...here from a wrestling standpoint.
We are now starting an angle with Samoa Joe and the Pope.
I had to do something with him.
Joe is apparently the person that's been filming
the Pope in all of these when he goes to the Strip Club
and when he goes to the Shelter and whatnot.
Pope of course has the slick street preacher gimmick
so he's got excuses for everything.
But here, I was watching this and I kept saying
are we just doing booking roulette now?
Yeah, so what you've got there is you've got a guy
who I think has used up his usefulness between them.
Pope or Joe, Samoa.
Okay, and I think you've got Pope where you're kind of getting
to hit the bit with him.
What in the heck do I do with this guy?
I can't put the world title on him.
He's decent on the stick.
We so forced that bit, his character,
down, everybody's throat for so long.
I think it's got stale.
To me, he needs to be your next television champion.
I think that's about the limit for the Angelo Denero.
What was his name in WWE?
Is he killed Jackson?
No, that's the big guy that's his name.

That TV title is about as far as he can go.
He can't carry your company.
He is a guy who reminds me a lot of Shelton Benjamin.

Yeah, yeah, the studio looks completely different. Yes, we had a different look in the studio. We had different equipment
I was standing looking at them. You're in that I know you were looking at the wall
You were needing to make the very first show. I've been I've been doing things like this
Over two thirds of my life when Cody and I came up with this idea
We came in to do do a pilot show. It was the week after the fourth of July was not gonna air it. Yeah
You you said I don't know if I want to air it
Let's see what we can do you came in with your notes you we thought maybe we'd go 45 minutes
We went an hour and a half and for the first 30 minutes of that show you had your notes up and you were looking straight at the wall
And it was everything I could do not touch it up to not start laughing because I knew you'd loosen up
I knew you would and you did you did quicker than I thought you did and you go back and listen to that first show
It's not as bad as you think it is. It's yeah, maybe I need to listen
Maybe just haven't visited it in a while and well, we'll revisit that here in the coming weeks

So thought I'd run down the list real quick of movies we watched this weekend

These movies these are all movies that were watched between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon
We started the weekend with zombie land

It's Mesquite Texas or Garland Texas. Okay people thought this was the wasteland. I said no. That's just Garland
That's how it opens because he's trying to get from Austin to Cleveland
Okay, somebody stops in Garland. So there's that that's a local for those of you that aren't local
That's like right down the street from where our studio is
What then we watched uh movie called Midnight Madness. I don't know if you know much about this film
1980 is a Disney film about five groups of kids college kids that go on an all night scavenger hunt
Very first film from Michael J Fox. Okay, one of my favorite movies is a kid still loved it still holds up
Also, we watch some of you know about catfish in let me tell you something brother
This movie if you don't know what catfish is catfish is about a young man who is a journalist and he meets a young lady on Facebook
And strikes up a relationship her sister and eight year eight year old prodigy artist
He decides after some shenanigans happen online in i chat that he's gonna go visit
This girl that he's been cyber dating and her sister and her mother uh
That's where the trailer stops and then you see a graphic on the screen that says this is the movie hitchcock never directed
I'm gonna tell you something brother because I don't want to give this away
Because I really think if you're gonna watch this movie you need to watch it go in cold

See this movie okay, you'll enjoy it
Then we watched the losers
Which is based on a DC comics vertigo series about a bunch of guys that get framed for a crime and commit blah blah blah
Good movie very much enjoyed this if you like action
It's got Zoe Saldana from Star Trek in it. It's got Chris Evans who is your new captain america in it
It's also got the guy that played the comedian and watchman
Is the main guy also has Idris Elba from the wire
Excellent film very much enjoyed it
And then I finished it off with the new version of Clash of the Titans on Sunday morning
visually stunning
But they took a lot of story and crammed it into it now that looks like that would be a tough tough deal there
this weekend
We're looking to looking at watching the 18 again
Hopefully Friday night for date night. We're gonna watch the social networks if I can get a copy of it

I may try to go check it out this weekend if I've got time a little football intensive this weekend

But those none of those matches are what we're going to talk about yes
We're going to talk about the main event that night at and one of these guys are relative unknown
In the in main event Steve was he was on his way up other as we're talking about sting versus ric flair for the
the 1988 Clash of the Champions in the NWA World Heavyweight title. Of course, Rick Flair
at the time, a member of the Immortal to me. I know that word. The Four Horsemen.
Let me ask you this. Did the NWA, the theme they played for him that night sounded different?
It was very synthesized. That was the first thing I noticed in this match. J.J. Dillon was
in a cage held above the ring. He would interfere. That was kind of the manager of the horseman
for people that really don't know what that is. But he was in a cage above the ring. One
thing I noticed that stuck out the most was how overstaying was. Very much because he
was the big baby face of the time. Luger was just starting to break away from the Four Horsemen.
So he was dealing with that deal with Wyndham before Wyndham would turn on him and join
the horsemen again. You had the great Jim Ross and the great Tony Shivani commentated
this match. I don't know if you noticed this, but it was a long time before either one
of them said a word. Oh, yeah, they just kind of let it roll. They let it roll until the
announcer in the ring got through all the introductions, which I thought was I'm like,
because I was watching this if you have the Rick Flair definitive collection this on
disc two. I was like, did they take the commentary out of this thing? Did I miss a meeting?
Sting, look, Sting was had a great, I always think to me up until the red face wolf pack
always had a good look. Yeah. And I thought Sting's look was great, especially this was
very baby infant sting of what he was going to become very over. The back and force was
great. The match went to a 45 minute draw. 45 minutes straight. There were no commercial
peaks. I don't know if you noticed this and just as a side thing. Judges when the music
started or when the game match started, it was broadcast in stereo. Wow, he's come
a long way in 23 years of Sting was ascending. I mean, even Jim Ross said that. Sting is one
of the biggest ending stars in here. Both of these men at the, you know, Sting's on his
way up. Both of these guys were in at the peak in their form. This thing, you had judges,
three judges at ringside, Gary Juster. I don't know who the heck he was. You had Sandy
Scott former play a big pinhouse play made. No, that would be patty mole patty mole. Okay.
Sandy Scott was half of the flying Scott's tag team. They were a multiple time tag champs.
Okay. Then you had patty mole who was a former playmate pinhouse, I'm sorry, pinhouse pet
of the month had no idea where she was. Thought that didn't really didn't know where she was.
Then you had two people sitting at the table who had nothing to do with anything in Jason
Hervey from the wonder years. Wonder wonder if that's how that got started. And Ken Osmond
who was Eddie Haskell on the beat. I thought they were all five judges, but then it took
out there only three judges. One ref in the ring. That's where it got hokey to me, but
there were some great back and forth through this match. At one point, Sting puts the figure
four on Rick Flair. And then you like it's like we said, 45 minutes straight. This was
not a best of you go until you're done. And that at one point, you actually hear Jim
Ross say, if this doesn't go to the 45, we've got these other two matches that are ready
to go. Yes. Didn't need him. I mean, it really the old school railing. It was very, very
if you have a chance to ever maybe go back and I know it's a lot of people in here probably
younger ages. Child wrestling is always a throwback to people's childhood. Go back and watch
them that. I mean, I can remember when it was was kind of like that, but that's a new
segment we're going to do every week. That crowd was insane. The crowd was crazy. Horseman
country. Greensboro South Carolina North Carolina. That is any type of North Carolina.
Your horseman country. So let's get into a little bit of TV news right now. Did you
remember to set your DVR? Yes, sir. Yes, I did. Have you watched this program a little

kind of a kind of a bad guy network that he works. This is the story of a former cop who
gets framed, lost thought for dead, goes underground and hooks up with a circus side show that
are also bank robbers, learns how to use the art of illusion. It's got summer glow in
it. I'm a huge fan of. I like it. I think the acting could be better. I'm going to give
this. It goes to its normal night on Monday next week. It will be in the nine, eight central
time slot, I believe. I like it. We shall see. Your other TV news for the week Fox has
renewed raising hope for a second season. This is the show that's got Martha Clinton in it.
ABC. This is also early for networks to be giving renewal notices. I mean, this is very,
very early this year. ABC has also recommitted to the middle, which is Jane Kazumeric's light
of the show. Private practice, which is a spin off of Grey's Anatomy, which has also been
renewed and castle. Nathan Fillion, congratulations. You've got a show that's made it. Yeah.
Because I think it's a great, but I like Nathan Fillion. I want the guy to succeed. Firefly
probably one of the greatest shows that never made it past 15 episodes ever. Congratulations
to them. Yes. Good, good on you, Nathan Fillion. Let us now move on to last night. No, I need
a disclaimer here. I have not actually watched raw yet. I was very national championship
intensive last night. And because of that, I will probably try to watch raw maybe tonight,

I've asked my wife if she wanted to go to a carnival.
And she looked at me like I was from outer space.
I loved it with my first roller coaster.

Because the state fair for us was 200 miles away.

I saw this and was like, huh.
You know what these are?
These were farms that you could go to.
And they would give you a bucket.
I got you.
And you would go pick your own fruit.
We did these all the time when I was a kid.
Only thing was that I've gotten older.
I've realized that the you pick a place that we like to go to
was at the base of one of these what we call Mt. Trashmore.
Like the landfill.
It was in the base of the landfill.
Strawberries from the size of your head.
Rich soil.

Number seven.
Movie theaters that didn't carry more than two or three movies.
That's true.
Everywhere you go now, it's like we have nine million screens.
You would go somewhere and I don't know.
It was like this when you were a kid.
But when I was little and you went to one of these movie houses
is what they were called.
It was a big deal.
I mean, you would put on your Sunday clothes.
Go see Star Wars in 1977.
You know, you didn't roll in there and flip flops and jorts, brother.
You rolled in there and you're slacks.
Yeah, oh yeah.
Because they only had one movie in that place.
And you would go and you would mill about smartly there in the lobby.
I mean, it was a big deal.
And you had one movie.
It showed like four times a day.
And that was a ball game.
Movie house.
Loved it.
And if that's going to tie into one a little bit later.

True Saturday morning cartoons.
Yeah.
I think I knew you'd be with me on that.
Yeah.
Nowadays it seems like cartoons are on 24 hours or seven days a week as it is.
And now that I'm not working Friday nights until three in the morning anymore
I'll get up on a Saturday morning.
And there's no cartoons on it.
No, it's all actually everything now is what's saved by the bell ushered in.
Yeah.
It's all these.
And it's not nearly as good.
It's these clean shows.
It's not even the ballpark of this good.
Ravens Simone has a show.

Going to a record store.

Yeah, that's one thing now with I think even owning a CD could be tied into that.
Because everything's now iTunes.
Well, but the thing of getting a CD or tape or vinyl and opening it up and reading the notes.
But records they were just the casing was so big and you would thumb through them like folders.
Yeah.
There was something in seeing the cover art and the creative things people would do.
I have a striper album that's blue.
You know, from the original yellow and black attack.
I miss that.
You know, the vinyl is making a comeback.
But it'll never be going next door from the.
There's the movie theater and the ice cream shop and the record store.
They were all three right next to each other in my neighborhood.
Loved that.
Number three.
Brighten bikes, man.
Especially without helmets.
You can do that.
It's hard to look cool.
And I know it's safety.
But it just.
We just go out and just ride our bikes, man.
Just getting out there and getting it done.
Had your cobra handles on the handlebars.

I didn't have that.
I actually had a white.

This was such a huge part of my childhood.

With the existence of these game systems,
you don't have arcades anymore.
I miss going to the arcade.
You bring a pocket bowl of quarters.
And you just go crazy.
The latest games would come out and you had to plan.
And you don't have arcades because everybody can do it at home now.
Yeah, you know, the last two of those that I remember.
And you remember these two were a town east of mall.
Yep.
At Ladins Castle and Tilt.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
And they moved Tilt downstairs.
Yeah, with the last two arcades,
I can remember in this area.
We had a place growing up, especially when I was in college,
in South Florida called Grand Prix Raceorama.
This was a huge arcade that was probably the size
of your average department store.
And they had five mini golf courses.
Five.
Now they've got like a wooden roller coaster out there.
I mean, Grand Prix, and they go cards, of course,
because it's called Grand Prix.
I miss that.
Because again, it was part of the social scene.
I don't want to talk to somebody through a headset
that I'm playing a video game with.
I like to meet them with my buddies,
and we're talking trash to each other,
while we're trying to outplay each other on Pac-Man,
or Galaxian, or Pinball, or whatever it was.
But that's the list for this week.
