You want to say hi to Russ who just said hello to us in the chat room. I got to see him the other day at his place of employment. We want to thank everybody that came out last weekend to say grace descending.

Many times I heard them say yes. How a great time. And as a result of all the support and love you guys have given us, we're going to be playing again at the Curtain Club February the 18th.

I know that's weird because it's a school night. But we're going to try to play kind of mid evening. We don't have all the details yet, but when I get more details, we will get those to you.

We start every show with corrections. This is no exception. Even though it's been two weeks, I still listen to every show.

People ask me all the time. Rob, do you listen to the show? I listen to every episode.

I usually listen about Tuesdayish because Monday I take completely away from the show. So I'm kind of just kind of reset my brain a little bit. But I did listen to our last show a couple of things.

Legends of tomorrow will be airing on Thursdays. I said it was on Fridays. I was wrong on that.

Also, we couldn't remember who this celebrity at the end of that battlefront commercial where they disappear. It was Anna Kendrick. And I shame myself or not remembering her.

I thought you threw that name out there. I did not. I could not remember.

I remembered it was somebody I have an unhealthy crush on. But I could remember who it was. That was one that had an unhealthy crush on him.

Yeah. And it's have her plugging star wars just does not. Does not help that in any way.

So let us get started with something that ended. This past week. I accept this award.

I'd be half the little people everywhere. You're lucky. No sir.

I am the smartest man alive. What the question mark. That's only for Brittany Palmer.

Bullpicks wound up last week. It came down to the final game. And the only reason it came down to the final game is we added bonus points this year.

Which I thought made it a little bit more interesting. Yeah. Because you could be behind by a few.

And if you hit the bonus points and put your right back in the thick of it. If Clemson would have won. I'd be going.

So not only did I win the bullpicks contest on our show. I also won the bullpicks at work. So I am I'm two for two this year.

And it was great because it worked like nobody was even close to me. But even the people that might have had a chance of catching up. Everybody else picked Oklahoma in the National Championship game.

And they didn't make it there. So I was already. But a great national championship game sucks to have the under.

As Alabama wins 45 to 40. Good game though. Great game to watch.

You're used to him being bald and being bald and being Brian or lacquer. And I'm going to treat you. It's very strange looking.

I don't want to see this. Russ said he was actually pretty close to scratch. When I talked to Russ this week, he actually was like a touchdown off of the score in the national championship game.

So. The coaching carousel went for a spin these last couple of weeks in the NFL. Bobby Smith is out in Tampa Bay.

His offensive coordinator, Dirk Ketner is in. Isn't that who? Oh, no.

That's David Ketner. So he wasn't he an anchor man. That's your boy there.

Hugh Jackson H. U. E.

Jackson. He is he is now the head coach in Cleveland because that's the problem in Cleveland. And apparently in his interview with ownership of the Browns.

He basically said you guys okay if we end Johnny Manzels rain here in Cleveland. And ownership allegedly said no, I'm going to probably hear a decision. And and for your stakes are because you are my friend.

You are my brother. I love you to death. I will make the plea to Jerry Jones to lead the show in Man alone.

It is what it is because you know he wants him. Take him. I don't care.

Also Tom Cofflin out with the giants did not get fired. He quit. So what or was it forced to resign?

Every year was a forced to resign for Tom Cofflin for the last six years. He just I think he just finally had enough. And his replacement is one Ben Macadoo.

I feel like he should buy those on the on the the nut. I like some Ben Macadoo, please. Macaron's Macadoo Macadoo.

And in news that makes Dave kind of happy I guess. Chip Kelly out in Philadelphia in at San Francisco. I mean he was out of work what two days.

He was yeah. But the question becomes now. Colin Kaepernick is the kind of quarterback that chip Kelly likes to coach.

He likes that fast pace. Does he keep Colin Kaepernick in San Francisco? Because that thing can go either way right now.

My personal opinion I think he keeps him but he keeps him on a very tight leash. And says look you got if we're if we're not at least 500 after four games you got to go. Of course I'll clean out all the running backs and all the other important people around him.

But true. And replacing him in Philadelphia is Doug Peterson. P.E.D.E.R.S.O.N.

So there's that. Patterson. No it's Peterson.

That's not said. I watch he has me. Okay.

I don't. And Sean Peyton in a surprise move. Staying with the Saints.

I think pretty much everybody had him bailing. But from the things I've read and the things I've heard. He has a very very close relationship with Drew Rees.

And because of that that's what kept him with the Saints. Why are they saying he was out? Are you going?

What was the big reason? Did you not see them this year? Well everybody has a bad year.

No they've had a bad couple of years. Oh yeah. They really have.

So it's good. And in news that I did not see coming. There is a new defensive backs coach with the buffalo bills.

As former Baltimore Raven Ed Reed is now a coach. With the buffalo bills. So Rex good luck with all that.

There were rumors that he was going to hire his brother. I have not heard those being solidified yet. Because of course his brother being let go from the aforementioned New Orleans Saints.

And another news that kind of surprised me this week. Megatron Calvin Johnson contemplating retirement from the league. But he's been at least six years now.

Can trade him. I don't mean from his standpoint. I mean from a team standpoint.

Like Detroit what are you going to do? Let this kid. I see him a lot like I see Larry Fitzgerald right now.

This kid deserves a ring. This kid deserves the ghost somewhere where he's going to win some games. And obviously Detroit ain't the place.

Let this kid go. Let him go somewhere. Let him be a free region.

And somebody's going to pick him up. And they're going to pick him up quickly. Started with Detroit wines in 2007.

So he's been in the league almost 10 years. Wow. And let me clear my throat.

What's the question mark? Three years on this show. I have said that the Rams are moving back to Los Angeles.

And finally the prophecy has been fulfilled. Go to the Gozerian has arrived. The Rams will be back in LA next season now.

For those of you that don't know the the ins and outs of this deal. But the Rams, the chargers and Oakland all petitioned to go back to LA. The Rams were approved.

The chargers have one year to make a decision. The chargers still have the option to go to LA if they want to. If that year comes and goes.

Then they can talk to the Raiders. The Raiders allegedly in talks with San Antonio. Interesting.

This won't happen. And I'll tell you why. Number one Jerry won't let it happen.

Jerry has too much stroke. And he has too much of a stranglehold in San Antonio. If you remember after Hurricane Katrina when this Saints played in San Antonio.

The Cowboys game on TV did like the numbers were like 10 times. What they wouldn't have been if they had gone to see in San Antonio to see the game. That that the Saints were playing.

They love the Cowboys. Number two. Oakland does this every year.

They threaten to leave. And then at the last minute they don't. Which is why the city's not going to give them a new stadium because they're like you're not going to leave.

So why are we going to give into your demands that we're going to pay for a new stadium. You're not going to leave. Al Davis is you know in football heaven now.

You have no stroke. Now the other problem is. If the Raiders leave, they can't take the name with them.

Because that's a new rule. The Rams were the last team to be able to move and keep the name. Well, there's a grandfather because like if the Rams go to LA.

Right. No. But going back.

Oakland moves to San Antonio. They can't be the right. Exactly.

But it is interesting that you if they keep the color scheme. Both professional teams and that's that town will have the same colors. Them in the spurs.

Why won't they go to OK. Oklahoma City. I agree with you.

But I still think Jacksonville winds up there because I think finally the NFL is going to go look. You guys can't sustain a team. And it will either be Oklahoma City or Tulsa.

I hear a lot of it. Oklahoma. Yeah.

Well, I hear a lot of people talk about London. I just don't think putting one team in Europe is a viable option. Yeah.

The TV time issue. You got the travel. Travel.

Yeah. Travel. Yeah.

Because I always said, I agree with you on Oklahoma. Because what they've done with basketball. Every game is basically sold out since that team's been there.

And that's basketball. And that was even when they had New Orleans there before they even had the thunder. Can you imagine, though, if you give them a football team, how rabid they'd be on that thing?

Hello. Absolutely. Russ says that Doug Peterson was Brett Farbs back up for a while.

He also says he thinks that the Arizona Cardinals, no, no, no. He says now Arizona can move back to St. Louis.

They could do that. I don't see Arizona losing that team. No, no, no, no.

Yeah. I don't. And St.

Louis has already said, you know what? We just don't want the NFL. Really?

They feel no fight. They felt very, very spurned by the Rams. Because I think the Rams knew the Rams do a long time ago.

And they kind of just shut the city out about a new stadium. That I've visited St. Louis about six years ago when they were pretty terrible.

And I was in town during football season. I was like, you know what? I might go to the game.

Say I've been to the dome. You know, see the Rams play. The nose bleed seats were $75 a piece.

Give me a while. Like a little proud of this bad product, aren't we? Yeah.

Got to pay for those salaries somehow. I don't know if you were kind of looking to say, well, that's with any stadium. No disrespect.

But look at the cowboys. Oh, no. I believe you.

But there's a huge difference between the mystique of the Dallas Cowboys and the lack There of the St. Louis Rams. I will give you that.

That's my problem with it. Like, I know my father passed way years ago. What would have been a huge fan of them moving back to Los Angeles from St.

Because they never liked that moment to begin with. I always thought that the St. Louis Rams, I could never never like rolled off the tongue like the L.A.

Rams. The Rams are Los Angeles. They're building almost a $2 billion stadium.

Yeah. It's going to, they're trying to say, hey, Jerry, we got the better one now. And now they can remake heaven.

Can wait. They already did. Remember with Chris Ross?

I know. I know. But they can really remake it.

Can we get the Super Bowl's shuffle back? No. No.

Kansas City's 11 game win streak is shattered. To be by the New England Patriots 27 to 20, both games yesterday enjoyable games to watch. And then you get to last night as Anna Azona hosts Green Bay and Sir.

I cannot wait for you to see the highlights from this game because I know you missed it last night. Yes. I was at a local establishment.

We want to say a happy early birthday to tomorrow. To our friend Jen Rome. She had her birthday last night.

But it was three at the most. And then earlier today. Carolina host Seattle goes up big.

Seattle claws their way back into it. Try as an over an on side kick with over a minute left. They do not get it.

Carolina wins 31 to 24 right now. There are about eight minutes left in the game in Denver. Don's beloved Pittsburgh Steelers lead Denver by a single point.

Just up just under seven and a half minutes to go there. One thing I want to talk about is that game with the. Uh, OT with the cardinals last night.

The coin flip for OT. What was that? That was weird.

Did they flip the coin twice? Yeah. Okay.

I thought I was dreaming something. They had to refill. We didn't have audio.

Do you know what happened? What happened was the ref threw it up in the air. And it never flipped.

It just went up and went straight down a drop. So the guys goes, what? It never flipped.

It never flipped. And then so they had actually in they showed the replay of the coin going up and hit and down. He'd never flip.

Wow. So they'd have had to re-throw it. Make sure going.

Yeah. Ruck. Russ asked in the chat room that they did a special on NFL network this week about the very first Super Bowl.

The one that never aired. I did not miss. I did miss that.

I'm going to see if they're going to re-air. Because NFL network does some good documentary stuff. So next week we're going to have our conference championships and the first time in January and Don, you may have to double check on this.

Rumble the same day as the championship games. Vince usually does it the week between. But this year he's going and he's going with him.

No, that's just a win for us Speaking of Marvel on Netflix. Jessica Jones has given been given a renewal for season two.

This is something that's very close to Devon's heart as well Tim Curry will be returning as the criminologist narrator I've got a bad feeling about that Tim Curry. He's not in good shape.

No, he's not no But isn't it just a voiceover though, but still I mean when you've had a stroke and your speech is impaired because of that story You know that have you heard him? Not since the interview that he gave on the today show celebrating the anniversary of Rocky Horror so hopefully He's he's he's made a an astounding recovery He's had a pretty bad the last time I heard him Devon may be able to just shed some light on this because he really keeps track Devon can you because again the last time I saw Yeah, Devon is is Tim Curry's speech impaired at all have you heard anything and we'll give it closer There's a seven second delay between what we say and what they hear. Yes, I you heard me correctly. Where's all right? But we got to go see it at a place called the looks cinema, which is located in the Dallas area on the north side in Addison We've heard a lot about this place I finally got to check it out so I thought I'd bring you a little report on the look.

I've been curious. Very curious The look is a very interesting thing because their their auditoriums are in three separate areas of the building They're kind of grouped Okay, they have their living rooms and what they call their evolution in on the bottom floor Where right by where the person that would take your tickets takes your tickets is it a mystery? It really is well the evolution of cinemas are Dolby certified W atnis And they have the motorized recliners in them.

Oh, I love those The living rooms have the bigger couches that have their own automons and things of its ilk Okay, and then you have the look and die Which I have it reading I could go in there look and die. Yeah, that they have right by their their restaurant Don, what do you pointy at that check? Okay, you told me to check and see with the conference champion chips in the rumble right Okay January 23rd 2000 same weekend.

Okay The 19th of 2003 was also in the same weekend and then also Which was weird in 1991 the rumble was on Saturday the 19th because the championships were on the 20th Okay, well, there you go. Yeah, so two dates Well kind of one weekend, so but it's been about fifth but a little bit ten years. Yeah, three the last one was oh three Then a 2000 the 91 rest were a perfect perfect Devon says the look is actually a one off And then you had the look and dying theaters.

They don't have posters outside the theaters They actually have somebody that's commissioned to come in and it's like a big chalkboard and they do their own Handrawn for you They're they're mocking Jay was probably three foot wide by about four feet tall It was absolutely gorgeous and one of them did show episode seven. I think which one? Absolutely gorgeous They're actually showing it the Dolby atmosphere as well and then you have the loft theaters Which are actually on the second story of the building and that's where I got to see right along too It's very reminiscent about the way things are going with these like with AMC with the Dine in theaters It is 18 and up after uh at their eight o'clock brilliant.

Okay great. It's a beautiful facility Food's a little pricey Yeah, look where you're at and we're see and here's my here's my downfall to them If you order food to be brought to you in a theater There's a two dollar and fifty cents delivery charge What that's true story then you don't tip and I went You're in the same bill Great confused I'm not ordering a pizza from dominoes and having it So I well what I wound up doing as I wound up going downstairs to order my food Because they have a little concessionist and and they do have the greatness of the Coca-Cola freestyle So you know you automatically can do it with me. Yeah, you've already can you jump on jack mixed in with your coke had the They do have a full bar They do have a full bar, but I won't put it in a three-leaf What I guess out yet Oh, I did have a have a brought worst That had chilly and cheese and onions on it and I had some loaded tater tots About what you'd expect the brought was actually pretty good very much enjoyed his fine work He was looking at not making out of his forties about Satan nitrates Ah, nitrates, but it wasn't like it the chili wasn't like it was more of just a meat-based chili there wasn't like the beans and everything in it So the person Anthony who was sitting next to me was actually spared any pain that he might have been through I thought the experience overall was really good It's a little pricey, but not more than any of the theory.

I think I paid 1375 for my ticket Which is about average I guess No, no the theater I was in maybe sat 65 people Really, yeah, but it's it's set up a lot like the AMC died in theater where you're in like or like a like a Like a big a sea kind of like it, but it did this one didn't recline and the lofts They don't recline but you have like two people and then you have a table and then you have two more people and then you have an eye on either side of you But I thought the presentation was great. Oh I would I would say I enjoyed it Outside of the 250 delivery charge if you order from in the theater, but they don't they also don't have the deal like you like anywhere else Or you can summon a server You actually have to go out to order. Oh, that's a whip.

Yeah, but that may be because they do because you know how it at the Alamo another one of our local theaters They have that aisle that the servers walk through. Yeah, you don't have that at the look. Yeah, I've been in there I know what you're talking about and some of those seats.

They're they are close and some of the teachers because they dropped down so far between the road Yeah, there is there is a very fairly steep Between steps, but I I mean I thought the facility was great if you're looking for more of like an upscale Movie theater type thing to do. I think it's a great, you know, if you want if you're you know out with an innate Then I think it's I think it's a good date place to go for sure But I very much enjoyed my time there I also want to say thank you to the movie brothers for having us out Great friends of the show big thing talk to the about the price that new AMC which is just right down the road Right down the road. Yeah, it's like sometimes 20 bucks at night for that There's a couple of people that I've talked to that if they into that AMC that's that have had horrible experiences there In that new new one.

Yes, we're like charred 20 bucks a ticket. Yes, we get those big recliners and all that and everything Oh, I had for recliners right now And I've got to give the the the nod right now the regal cinemas the United Artists Galaxy 10 They've read done all of their auditoriums and There's probably a good three or four feet between rows. Yeah, no one's bumping into you on this I was very impressed with what they've got going on so Anything I actually don't see the other person besides David in the chat room was been there anything you want to add down No, it was normal.

I think it's kind of that new artsy kind of They want to have the new artsy style theater is a place where it's just not to go to movie It's kind of experience and everything I and that's what they're trying to do and have that restaurant right next to him and everything I I have no problems with the place though. It was good time. Yeah.

All right. Let us move on and do a little music talk Last time we were on the air. We were had we were all up in arms Because Peter Satara said he was infatically not going to be at the Hall of Fame induction of Chicago He has reversed his position.
