• Keep it going now!
Wow!
Great
Wow.
How nice
Here we go.
What would you do?
I just need you here
Oh, okay.
You're in my bad mood.
Who wants more?
Why is my heart like that?
Is it stuck to it?
I can't feel the driving force is giving you away.
Um-hmm
I don't know
It is 702 on the East Coast.
It is 402 on the West Coast.
It is the third of January in the year of our Lord 2016.
It is season 6, Episode 22, numerically for those of you playing the home game, 326 times.
We have welcome you to the Clubhouse podcast.
We are live and on the air.
We love you, no matter how you listen, whether you're live on your stream with us, whether
you're listening on our archive or whether you subscribe on iTunes.
Don't care how you listen, we're just glad you do.
Welcome.
My name is Rob and it is a new year and that's what I had to say about that.
But I'm not alone for this particular episode as I rarely ever am.
We've only ever done this solo once.
We see rustles in the chat room so I know I'm not alone good to see you, sir.
Joining me across the desk as he tends to do is my co-host and a man that I haven't seen
since what a couple of days after the last time we did this.
He is chat.
Welcome, sir.
Starting to get withdrawal symptoms.
I don't think I've seen you since before Christmas.
That's correct.
That's correct.
Also joining us is a man who really just got to trim the beard bro.
I'm just saying he is the king of bowling.
He is Andrew Beckham.
Welcome, sir.
Great to have you.
Oh yeah.
Wednesday, you will see it trim.
Okay.
We have an appointment after work too.
Oh, ladies.
And we set at the end of the last episode we did, which was right before the holidays.
That we were going to have a couple of guests tonight who can, who probably have an ability
to give you in a perspective on me that is a rare thing because I'm related to one
of them.
I am so excited to have these two on the show tonight.
Right across the desk from me at the 12 o'clock position is a man who is no stranger
to podcasting because he does it himself and we're going to talk about it here in just
a minute.
His name is Gary Rackley.
Welcome to the show, sir.
Thank you, Ross.
Thanks for having me.
Oh, it's a work side that's right here.
And sitting next to him to his left is someone who I have literally known her entire life.
Because she is my cousin all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina, a city that I'm not
a huge fan of right now for what they're doing in my Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but she's still
my blood.
She is Susan Rackley.
Welcome to the show, kiddo.
Thanks.
This is awesome.
This is going to be good time.
I'm ready for this.
You ready for this, sir?
Oh, yeah.
We start every show with corrections.
I'm going to go ahead and say we don't have any from the last show because it's been
a while since I listened to that episode, but there was nothing that really stuck out to
me.
It's only been two weeks, but it feels like it's been a long while, because it's been a
month.
It hasn't been a lot longer than that.
We've had to do have some special additions up if you're an iTunes subscriber.
We have a lot of them that went up right before the break and we've got some more coming
in the weeks ahead.
So make sure you're subscribing on iTunes because you get extra episodes that we don't
do live.
So we've done a hundred and seventy two of those now, sir, if you can believe that.
I'm just trying to feel approaching, approaching another big milestone.
Probably next week or week after I would assume.
And then another big one probably about a month after that.
But since we don't have NASCAR to talk about right now, because there is no NASCAR, and
I was talking to Fred and the show barboyer.
I was spent New Year's Eve with him and his lovely fiancee.
That's weird to say, not for me.
I think it's great.
No, it's great.
It's just weird to say.
It's just took us long enough to be able to say it.
Yeah.
I think they've been dating since the dawn of a man.
Why doesn't NASCAR do like a special race over the holidays?
Just have like an all-star race.
Maybe just take the 16 that go to the chase and have them do a just a for fun race.
Put them on like big wheels or something.
Because that's like for a sport that's every week for what 10 months a year.
That layoff is just weird because it feels like forever.
You want to do the NASCAR winter classic?
I'm in.
I'm in.
Put them on snowmobiles.
No, let them do zambones.
Let it be part of the NHL all-star game.
Yeah, that'd be part of the NHL winter classic.
I'd be at that be part of the break that they did.
I'm in.
Okay.
Just saying.
What I'm going to do is we're going to get into some college football because the last
time we were on the air.
The bowls were just getting underway so we didn't really want to talk much about them
because every year on this show as our listeners know, we do our bowl picks last year.
You and I did very well for the first time.
Yes.
I don't think I'm going to be able to see this.
Let's go over at one of the biggest probably bowl news of the season.
TCU, we were just talking about this just before that we went on the air in pre-show.
Biggest comeback in bowl history at the break, they're down to Oregon 31 to nothing.
They come back to win in overtime.
You're down five scores and you come back and win that game.
That's pretty unthinkable.
I can't say that I didn't think it was going to happen because I picked them.
But I'm not going to say I'm not going to say they're going to come back from 31 down.
You didn't predict that.
But let's go through the updates because there's only one game left and that's the national
championship game and that takes place a week from tomorrow.
So we'll have to crown the official champion during our Royal Rumble pre-show because
we won't know until then.
Finally, in fifth place, but they respectable fifth place because we played 39 games with
a score of 21 out of a possible 41.
So you're right there sir.
Jet.
So I'm in dead last.
I wouldn't say dead last because the two people ahead of you, you could catch.
I don't want you to give in your last pick.
Well, it's because you and I have picked opposite side in the national championship game.
But you are four points behind Andrew, who is at 25 right now.
I'm going to say if I'm a bit late.
There's five people playing.
I'm not in dead last because it's not dead last because he's actually picked Alabama.
You have picked Clemson.
So if Clemson wins, you tie Andrew.
So it's not dead last.
It's just code dead last.
Oh yeah, but there's actually no, actually you would tie for fourth place because right now
you're three points behind Charlotte.
But she's also picked Clemson.
So you have that going for you.
This is so mad.
Make it feel better.
I'm just going to have to go ahead and tell you you're going to lose so sorry for you.
So Chad was 21.
Charlotte with 24 Andrew with 25.
Done with 28.
Here's where it gets interesting.
So here's how this works.
Your boy, 31 right now, congrats.
I'm crushing it this year.
I want to I want to 11 game win streak.
Got a little shaky there for a minute.
Then went on a three game win streak, lost one, four game straight, lost four and then
went on a five game win streak.
So this could be a lot earlier.
I have Alabama in the national championship.
I'm the only person on the crew that picked both semifinal games correctly.
And anybody that wants to call shenanigans, both Chad and Andrew have the original copies
of these that I've sent them.
So anybody wants to call shenanigans can kiss my butt.
I have Alabama.
Now as we change the rules a little bit this year, the semifinal games were two points
at peace.
The finals are worth four.
So I have Alabama, Don has Clemson.
Don is behind me by three points right now.
So with Clemson wins the national championship, Don wins this by a single point.
If at win Alabama wins, I blow it wide open.
So this is I just don't I mean as much as I really believe in Clemson and I knew
they were going to win their semifinal game just because they're number one for a reason.
And I said this on our run on the show where we did the picks, I will never ever, ever in
the history of ever count out Nick Saban in the national championship game.
I can't do it.
Like I'm not wired that way.
We will know for sure a week from tomorrow night from Tempe, isn't that where's that
this year?
Is it in the festival or whatever they're calling it this year?
The Tostitos Fest.
Do I pass Don if Alabama wins?
If Alabama wins, you will pass Don because you'll have 29 and it's 28.
So Don's going to have to be here and it's going to work in for you.
Yeah, it's the Samson thing.
Yes.
I think it's what it is.
So those are your bowl updates be prepared for that.
I need to do this hold on.
Okay.
We'll just do this over here and then I'll put this on the deal here.
Ah, it's not working.
There you go.
That's professionalism at its best people.
Understand it.
Learn it.
Make sure you always have your docking station for your laptop exactly behind where
your mic stand is.
Very, very efficient.
We're all slow climbing right there.
I think so.
So, let's go to the other side of the coin and talk to Manifel.
We found out on, gosh, what was that Wednesday where the Eagles fired chip Kelly?
Yeah.
Tom Cofflin, expected to resign tomorrow.
I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out and says he gets a raise.
I wouldn't be there because every year, but we've never, I saw the announcement today
that said he's expected to resign tomorrow.
I've never seen it this late in the season.
So there might be some weight to this.
Cleveland fires their GM, Miami fires their GM because that's the problem in Miami.
No kidding.
And then we just got word from the NFL.
The Browns have fired Mike Patton.
So Mike Patton out as the Browns head coach.
Also got word from, from the Spin, by the way, Patton was 10 and 22 in two seasons.
It's Cleveland.
They have a revolving door.
It's Cleveland.
You have to judge.
You have to grade on the curve.
It's Cleveland.
Isn't that like 22 wins and 22 wins?
And apparently the bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase is going to interview for the
head coaching jobs with Miami, Cleveland, and Philly.
So it's like would you rather be stabbed, shot, or hung?
Those are your choices.
I love my dolphins.
We know this.
This is well documented on this show.
Joe, when did we did?
And we're going to talk about it.
Because we want to talk about it.
It's week 17.
As we say every year, I can't believe it's week 17, which is the reason Susan and Gary are
here.
We're going to talk about that here in just a moment, too.
But let's go through your scores today.
My beloved Miami dolphins.
And let's let's not get it twisted.
I am a realist.
You know how they say the, the, the optimist says the glasses half old, the pessimist says
the glasses half empty.
I'm a realist.
What's in the glass?
That's what I want to know.
A 20 to 10 victory over New England in week 17 when they really don't have anything
to play for technically outside of home field throughout.
Was I expecting to get blown out not really.
This week's 17.
Okay.
What you do, um, Russ, tell me you're joking.
Russ is telling me in the chat room that they're adding three more bowls next year.
Oh, God.
The Austin bowl, which oddly enough will be at Austin, Texas.
The, the metal of honor bowl in Charleston, South Carolina and get ready for it, Chad.
Remember this year, we had the Bahamas bowl.
The Melbourne bowl is coming next year in Australia.
Why?
Because they can't, because you can, doesn't mean that you should.
That's why we love the empire breaking news in the chat room.
I didn't say it was good news.
New Orleans goes to Atlanta in a game that you could have taken a nap through and
been okay as New Orleans wins 20 to 17.
Remember week 17, every game is in division.
And I didn't realize they were talking about the start in the cowboy game.
This is the sixth year.
They've done that.
Yeah.
I feel like they just started that.
I don't think they really made a big deal about it.
We tell the past.
It was weird.
Buffalo beats the jet's 22 to 17.
That was a sloppy, sloppy game.
Detroit over Chicago, boy, bare fans.
That's got to feel terrible.
24 to 20 Cincinnati as AJ McCarran becomes the first Alabama quarter back since 1988.
Excuse me.
Since 1988, to start a game in win.
What?
That is a true story.
Look it up.
That's not surprising.
The first Alabama quarter back since 1988.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
24, 16 win over Baltimore, which will make Don happy, which will also make Don
happy as his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers beat up on the Cleveland Browns 28 to 12 today.
Indy in a very weird situation.
Indy, of course, has my favorite player in the NFL and Pat McAfee.
They beat Tennessee 30 to 24.
But they don't get into the playoffs because Houston beats the crap out of Jacksonville,
30 to 6.
So now Houston's going to the playoffs, Indy is out.
Uh, Philly beats the Giants 35 to 30 today.
Going on right now, we have a bunch of games that are going on right now.
Let me refresh my screen.
So I know I have the most updated times because sometimes Yahoo gets wonky on me.
Next 35, left in a fourth quarter, locked up in a tight one in Charlotte, North Carolina
as Carolina leads Tampa Bay, 38 to 10.
Oh, come back, why are you?
Hey, let's, let's, let's, let's be the TCU of the NFL.
Shall we?
In the next seven.
So, the game.
If you notice when Tampa Bay doesn't have visit Jackson, all of a sudden, they can't
throw anymore.
Like, why?
It's my poor buck in here, so San Diego tied with Denver now.
At 20 apiece, Denver trying to get the number one seed.
But if they lose it, but the only consolation they have right now in Arizona, Seattle's
kicking a crap out of a cardinal's 36 to 6.
This is a weird situation because, and Gary, I don't know how closely you follow this
particular story.
But if Arizona and Denver win, Arizona would get it because they didn't have a head
to head, so since they don't have a head to head match up, the way they calculate it
is by the win-loss records of their opponents.
Right.
Which I've never seen it get to that, and I thought that was kind of cool.
Kansas City leads Oakland right now with 40 left, they're up by 6, 23 to 17.
And in the nap game of the day, St. Louis and San Francisco are tied at 16, sucks
to have the over.
And then tonight, you actually have a game of playoff implications tonight with Minnesota
in Green Bay.
That's going to be a good one.
So, and Chad, where is that game?
Of Frozen Tundra.
Let's say tattoo we love, both beamed.
That's production value.
Yeah, new office coordinator in Green Bay is just awful.
Well, I don't know that I've seen this team in a while that's as skit-so as this team.
Like, Aaron Rogers came out for over 9,000 yards, and then the next week, they'll
he'll be sacked 74 times.
It's the weirdest, like they should have, uh, stat, we're watching any of the Denver
game today.
Brok, Brok Oswilers, so weird to try to say his name, has been sacked 28 times in
his 26 times in his last 8 games.
That's insane.
Fix your O-Li dude, seriously.
And yeah, that's 6 games, does remember Peyton was playing, and so almost Thanksgiving.
No wonder Peyton doesn't have any, killing anything anymore.
They had him suited up today.
Yeah, they just showed him on the sideline.
I didn't rest.
Yeah.
Or I didn't retire.
Who probably started the playoffs?
That's what I'm thinking.
They hit the playoffs.
He's gonna come back.
And then he's already suited up, so, I mean, that's like a hint.
God, I just, I feel about him the way I feel about Romo, just let him heal up.
You know what I mean?
It's not gonna do you any good to put him out there and get him hurt again.
I love Romo, but I don't know that there's enough rest for him.
It's a bit late to me.
He better, he better soak his finger on a spinning wheel and sleep like, princess Aurora.
Exactly.
So next weekend, wild card take, it's time.
I love play of football, but man always comes so fast.
That's a quick as a 16 weeks ever.
That's why that's why I love football so much.
It's why I love football so much because every game would really counts.
Yes.
Listen to me, baseball.
It's all I'm saying.
162 is a little much.

Oh, really?
Yeah.
And we hope many feels better.
All right.
We are your one stop shop for all things sports entertainment.
So let's flip the script a little bit and do some TV talk.
So what have you heard about the expanse?
Nothing.
This is a show that is Facebook could not be promoting this show more if it's right.
It's on sci-fi.
I am hearing by the way, Russ got a rest of the chat room, Russ 72.
I was going to hook Russ up because he takes care of us.
They're billing it as game of thrones and space in space, in space, space.
I've talked to a couple of people that have checked out the first episode.
They say it's not bad.
There's only thing four episodes available right now.
sci-fi is already renewed it.
I'm wasting any time.
I only got to fill some time on Thursday nights now.
So, but I've heard good things.
Also, I'm not sure if you guys are all aware but there is going to be a new version of
Full House.
It's going straight to Netflix.
It's going to deal with DJ and her family and nice cute little teaser trailer they
have up for it.
Where you see the living room of the house and it's empty and you hear all the voices
because they're trying to get into the house and the dog is there and just as the door opens
it says Full House coming soon.
We do have announced who's going to be doing the theme song.
You ready, sir?
Sure.
Let's just play on it.
So, drink of my water.
You know yet?
You'll know here in a minute.
Our 12 to 15 demographic is going crazy right now.
Oh God.
Carly Ray Jebson.
Going to do the theme for Full House.
I don't have a problem with the Carly Ray Jebson.
She's Canadian but you know you're great on the curb.
And you know whenever I hear her out the first time I really heard this song was when
the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders did like a lip sync video for it so that makes me happy.
But you got that going for you, which is nice.
And in news that Mayor may not affect your wife who is a British descent.
Peter Capaldi is saying this could be his last season as the doctor.
Isn't this his first season as the doctor?
I guess because I think there's been a little bit of a backlash.
I mean we watched the Christmas special together as the first episode that we've seen with
him in it.
I was impressed.
She said it's the best Christmas special that done for Dr. Who in years.
And she was a huge fan of tenant when he was playing the doctor.
So is there really has been some backlash for Capaldi?
Because they skewed way older.
I mean you know you go from.
Oh yeah.
You go from.
You go from a young guy like Matt Smith who had really good on screen chemistry with
a what's your name that played his companion.
Jenna Coleman.
I want to say his name is not probably wrong.
And then she left.
So there's there hasn't been that.
That relationship on screen that that fans have come accustomed to seeing.
And they're just it was there was too much of a creepy old man vibe when it
ready to go over.
I mean the guy looks like you know Craig Ferguson for God six and you've got this
really.
You shall not time travel not that old.
Although that would be cool.
That would be dope.
I think the the odds on favorite that people are saying that would make the best
doctor in this iteration, although he's kind of busy right now is Martin Freeman.
I'm available.
Yeah.
You're not getting my audition tape and you're not I don't think they did.
That's my homage to Letterman.
And I think that part of the requirement of playing doctor who's going to have just
a shred of British blood.
You have none.
Well, I'm a white dude.
So there's got to be some in there somewhere.
Hey, there people that said they'd like to see Andrew's elbow play the doctor.
I'm like okay.
I would cast Andrew's elbow as the shark and jaws as our leader tends to say about
that bad Affleck.
I would put Idris Elba in a remake of Magnum PI.
I don't care.
He's that good.
If all he did would just play Magnum's mustache, if that was the case, if it gives
me an excuse to have Idris Elba in something I'm good.
That would be a hard test to do.
Yeah.
I'm just saying like he's that good and isn't kind of it's more the spirit of
a doctor than anything else.
What do you mean?
Like it shouldn't really matter who plays him because if it really doesn't, but or I should
say it really shouldn't, but it's just when you've gone from to if you want to call
Eccleston a young actor, he's definitely younger than Capaldi was, but you've got three
relatively young guys in a row that have played the doctor and they appealed to a younger
demographic and then they get this older guy in the row and I think that the fans felt
kind of like they were kind of betrayed.
Like they wanted to keep it crazy to get over them.
Well, we live down Denver by the way.
We live in a day and age where people are raking carry, fish are over the calls because
of how she looked in the form of people are more on.
So, and I'm just saying that's the mentality that you're dealing with.
A lot of their time is undefeated people.
We all age and carry Fisher was great in episode seven issue.
If you disagree your communist, so I just think you've got a lot of people that have
that mindset about Capaldi.
He's a great actor.
People give in their opinions on the internet, who cares about what people say on the internet
as we broadcast our podcast on the internet.
Just.
So, get ready for legends of tomorrow.
I'm so fine.
On the CW.
I am caught up on all of my shows except for last night's Ash versus Evil Dead, which is the
season finale.
Oh, so you watched that whole thing?
Yes, I caught up on everything, sir.
I didn't know that you had started watching that today, the tree.
No, I was in.
I didn't think you told me the nights that they were broadcasting whenever they did that
marathon thing and I didn't realize you were actually watching it.
It's a lot of fun.
Obviously, that was my next question.
What do you think?
That's fun.
Okay.
I will tell you this, a show you need to get on board with like six weeks ago, Gary and
I had a very lengthy conversation about this on Thursday or Friday and Thursday night, Friday
night into the badlands.
Yes, that show.
It's gotten me intrigued.
There's only six episodes because it's kind of them sticking their toe in the
water.
That's it.
That's all they're done for this season.
That's a six episode season.
And I don't break or anything.
Just a tester.
Okay.
Okay.
It is probably the greatest show I've watched.
It's a post-apocalyptic crouching tiger hidden dragon.
Okay.
I'm sold already now.
I look at it as like the old school kung fu theater with a little bit of matrix.
Yeah.
It's so good.
Like the fight sequences are awesome.
The storyline.
There's nothing I can equate the storyline to that would make any sense to you.
You probably don't even need to.
And I've always been a big fan of the dystopian future.
I'm a fan of Mad Max, I'm a fan of, but it's not that kind of post-apocalyptic.
It's more like we've regressed to like colonial times almost, like the postman.
Not, but not like in a wasteland kind of way.
I don't really don't know if that was because the wastelands don't dare a whole different
section of the show that we haven't even dealt with yet.
So this thing is like wide open.
They can go in any direction.
Oh, absolutely.
Absolutely.
And it's they introduce elements that like you like this is going to pay off later,
but they're and we're mentioning it to you now.
So you're ready for when it happens.
How far in the future is this thing supposed to be said?
I don't think it ever really says.
It really doesn't.
And there's like, and there's no guns.
No.
It's all it's all weapons.
Guns are gone.
That's like, what do they tell you?
What do you see that indicate that it's even set in the future?
How can you tell that it's set in the future?
I think they say something about they're being some kind of a kind of a clasper or something.
No, very first episode.
So anyway, we got the way off the rails.
Legends of tomorrow starts on January 21st.
So it's a Friday night show already concerning for me.
But two days earlier, as was revealed on Instagram,
before he said that he couldn't talk about it on that man on Batman,
which was weird.
Kevin Smith is going to be co-hosting a show,
I can't remember who he's co-hosting it with,
where they're going to be dealing with Legends of tomorrow.
It's going to debut the new suicide squad trailer,
and they're going to be showing footage from the filming of Wonder Woman.
Really?
So DC fans get ready.
So they're pretty much going to have the entire week block doubt except for Thursdays.
Because supergirls on Monday,
flashes on Tuesday,
arrows on Wednesday,
they've got nothing on Thursday.
And then they're going to be able to be more on Friday.
So I guess they got a leave room for one more night.
Well, you got to have vampire diary somewhere.
We ain't got to do nothing.
Does anybody watch that?
That's not DC any way.
I'm just saying for the C.W.
I'd love to.
I'd love to.
It's kind of like burn notice.
God.
What is burn notice?
I actually liked burn notice.
They did a whole sketch on Saturday night live.
It was a game show called What is burn notice.
And everybody was really.
They're like, one of the highest rate cable shows in television.
And people are like, don't know.
I kind of like, one person with one person said something,
and there was like a bell.
He's like, that's never happened before.
Do we have like a lightning round or something?
You asked Postal Service going to be doing a series of Star Trek
the original series forever stamps this year.
I've seen a couple of them.
They look pretty cool.
So they're really, they're really trying to jockey 2016
as the year Star Trek because obviously we know what owned this year.
This past year.
We're going to get rogued one this year.
I'm going to matter.
I'm just saying we're getting the next Star Trek film.
And they say like, you know what?
That's it.
I get it yourself, but we're back to it yourself.
But it's weird that they put him in so much makeup
because he's just so awesome.
But that trailer didn't tell me anything.
I'll still take that trailer over the Independence Day trailer.
No kidding.
Because I didn't dependency trailer.
I was like, didn't she, but there's no, okay.
Like the Star Trek Beyond, that was a teaser for me.
And everybody that was complaining about them using the BC boys,
I'm like, did you not see the first one?
That was a pretty big player in the first one.
And I've also determined that there's going to be big money.
And I'm going to say this now.
So people in the near, we'll see you this in the future.
Build about 19,000 enterprises.
Because they're going to destroy everyone of them.
If that isn't the enterprise we're seeing.
Yeah, shout out.
That was pretty cool in the trailer.
Yeah.
That was a pretty neat thing.
And this is Justin Lynn who did the Fast and Furious movies.
Some of them.
So I'm reserving judgment.
I'm looking forward to it, but I'm reserving judgment.
Yeah.
Any other TV stuff you guys want to talk about while we're in TV talk?
No, I'm just excited by the lid.
Is that tomorrow thing?
I'm still worried.
Like I saw another ad for that day of the night.
And I'm just like, I'm so in on this.
But I love where Flash and Arrow are right now.
I feel I'm super girl.
I'm caught up in super girl.
Is it any good?
I'm enjoying it.
I loved it.
It's not great.
But it's not terrible.
Like Charles Barkley would approve.
So it's worth going to watch on the main.
Yeah, go check it out.
There's a really cool reveal.
Yes.
And it was that episode six or seven.
The next of that was just a ruin for me before I could get to it.
I hated that.
I was so anxious to see your reaction.
But then there was nothing after it.
I'm like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
But apparently they're going to be dealing with,
oh, God, I can't even say it.
I'm going to mute the mics for them and hold on.
And we're back.
Oh, yeah, I heard that the other day that was in an interview.
No, it was put out there.
All right, so let's move on and do a little thing.
I like to call POI.
POI stands for a person of interest.
It is a segment that we do on this show that we take a person or an entity
and we debate their greatness or lack thereof.
Since I had to go back and realize who did what last time we did this,
Chad has it this week.
So we go live to you, sir.
Do you have me?
Yes, I do.
I do have you from three feet away.
Okay, just want to make sure.
Um, there was a little movie that came out a couple of weeks ago
that we, some of you may or may not have seen.
Concussion?
Uh, no.
Earlier than that, uh,
was Alvin the chipmunks the road chip.
Same day, different film.
Um, sisters.
No.
Okay, I got nothing.
Got nothing.
Okay.
Okay.
Joy.
Joy.
That's it.
No, but it did give me great joy when I saw this thing.
Uh, see what I did there.
See what I did there.
A movie that pretty much, I can't speak for YouTube guys because I don't know how
rabid you are.
I think you could probably guess how rabid I am.
Because I'm wearing it on my chest and I also wear it on my sleeve on a daily basis.
We finally got our follow up for Star Wars after waiting.
Most of our adult life.
And it's glorious.
And it's amazing.
I still haven't seen it.
Okay.
Well, I'm not going into the film itself.
The, what I want to discuss is
the marketing of
everything that has been tied in to Star Wars.
And see, here's my thing.
And there's been a big deal made about this.
My, I just have one question to ask.
And then I will allow you, I mean, I'm going to let you finish.
Who didn't expect this?
No, no, no, I'm not bashing it or whatever.
I'm just saying like people that are going out of their way.
I can't believe all the blab, blab, blab, blab, blab, blab.
Did you not see this coming?
Ray Charles could see this coming.
He's blind and dead.
It is a, it is a, it's a no-brainer train to jump on.
If you want to guarantee money flowing into your pocket.
If you're trying to market something.
Absolutely.
Uh, some of it has been absolutely brilliant.
Some of the marketing campaigns I've seen are some of the most clever, uh,
crossing of the stream.
Winning, derousel, winning.
Mm-hm.
Battlefront, winning.
Oh, that one, have you all seen the commercial for Battlefront?
The live action commercial for EA's Battlefront video.
Star Wars Battlefront.
Yeah, videos, videos, videos, videos.
It's a guy sitting in his, in his office.
And, you know, there's been a couple different ones.
Well, the main one, the main one that I'm referring to is,
the guy sitting in his office, he's looking in his old beat up R2D2 figure.
And he starts thinking back to his, how him and his best friend when they were growing up,
were Star Wars nuts.
And they show them growing up over the course of the last 15 years,
whatever.
And, uh, then next thing you know, an X-wing pulls up outside
with a window of the high-rise that he's working out of.
And his buddies, the pilot.
I did see that.
And then another one pulls up that's empty.
And he jumps it and they take off and they start shooting them.
And then you've got the other one where everybody's like disappearing
because they're disappearing into the game.
Who was it that's at the end of that thing?
Uh, someone of note that I have an unhealthy crush on them.
I can't think of who it is.
I can't think of it because I've only seen that one like once or twice.
But losing.
Jeep.
You can't.
Dodge.
Yeah, the whole car tie and thing does that.
They've got some neat commercials, but I'm like, what does one have to do with the other?
Not to nitpick.
But the commercial where they're having the dog fighting and then fade down to earth
and then the girl that's like, it's so peaceful.
What's the opening title card to Star Wars always say?
A long time ago.
Tomorrow's time ago, starting to happen.
Well, they're just, you know, they like to blur the lines.
But I mean, I can kind of see where some people are saying.
It's almost oversaturation like you know what's the thing.
Uh, not what Star Wars.
No, to me, there's not.
But there are some products that they've tied it to.
And I'm just like, what?
Orange?
Yeah, that's the big one.
Let's say I get the orange just because BB-8 is orange and orange is round and BB-8 is round.
Then don't put Kylo ran on the label.
No, BB-8 on the label.
The one I saw was BB-8.
Oh, the one I've seen is Kylo ran.
Oh, really?
Yeah, the one that people were posting all over Facebook.
It just had the only oranges that I've seen was BB-8.
Yeah, the ones that I saw.
I just thought that was kind of weird.
But St. Louis and San Francisco in over time at 16 apiece.
But it, I don't know if this is a case of be careful what you ask for because you just might get it.
What's really, I'm going to go a different direction with this and just roll with me for a minute.
The one thing about the marketing of the Force Awakens that has really underwhelmed me.
And it's maybe it's because I live in a world where commercials don't exist.
Because I don't watch anything live outside of sports.
I fast forward commercials all the time.
I pre-record even if I'm home when it airs.
I'll wait 20 minutes before I start watching, so I'm going to watch commercials.
I'm the same, exactly.
The toys.
Yeah, the action figures and the tie fighters and the things of its nature.
I've found...
Underwhelming from a promotional standpoint.
Well, I think because that has a lot to do with the fact that you don't watch a lot of
outside of maybe Star Wars Rebels and the Avengers animated stuff that you're catching on
Disney's Guardians.
Guardians, that's going to be the only time you're going to see commercials like that.
You're not going to throw that out there during a flash or an arrow or a super girl or agents of shield.
Since it's Disney, you would think they would.
But if I remember correctly back in our day, we only saw those kind of commercials.
During Saturday morning cartoon.
But those don't exist.
I know.
They're analyzed to problem.
That you're appealing to the kids that grew up and are now adults and have kids of their own.
So that's who you're really making the commercials for Dodge and Jeep and everything else.
Have you seen the SNL sketch about that?
Yes.
To me, that in itself is a great commercial.
But yeah, you get to the...
It's basically one of those types of commercials of the action figures.
But they have the kids and then they have the adults in it too.
And yeah, we never take them out of the box.
And you're just kind of there like, I can't argue with this.
Because if you look around our studio, there are things that are still in this package.
So I can't argue with it.
But I mean, it was funny, but it was just kind of like, oh, I hate it when they're right.
What you have to throw that in my face.
But I don't, to me, I guess it didn't bother me as much as it's bothered a lot of people.
Everything bothers people online.
But, I knew it was coming.
I mean, Disney paid that man for billion dollars for the rights to the franchise.
And they're basically the rights to everything Lucasfilm has already done.
Not including Strange Magic.
But, thank God, let's not talk about that.
We don't talk about that. That's fight club.
Yeah, we don't talk about the horrible CGI movie.
Um, I was fully prepared for immediate blitz, but I'm like you.
I was wanting the stuff that we're not seeing.
And, but even thusly, it did, it's weird to me, but it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers everybody else.
Oh, it's just because back in the day, that's, that's all we got.
And that's what we look forward to.
And we're really not seeing it.
Not even that $150 BBA that's the size of a cat toy, you know.
Yeah, we were at a mall here in, and Susan, I read a mall yesterday.
Shout out to Thinkeek for their broken mortar stores.
Did you guys see the BBA that they had in there?
The little droid that looks like the soccer ball.
Yeah, it's like what six inches tall, maybe.
And I mean, it's cool.
The things that can do, but for $170, I did not say the right.
Yeah, it's not cheap.
Because it can do a lot of cool stuff.
Like, you can use him.
Like, you can record a video message on your phone, like if you're in one room in
Susan's in another room, and then he'll go to the other room to find her and help
project your video message on the wall.
Like, you can put cinnamon rolls on the side of your head.
But I don't know, it's just weird to me.
There's no way you didn't know that this media blitz was going to happen.
Oh, no, no, I was, I was prepared for it.
I was, I was looking for it and I'm embracing.
And reports in places like Forbes and Fortune and things like that have already said,
they've made two billion back in merchant dice licenses alone.
And the film's already crossed a billion dollar threshold if I'm not mistaken.
Oh, we'll talk about that in the movie talk for sure.
So they've more than, they've, they've almost recouped their investment on one film.
And they probably made a ton of money leading up to it.
And we got another one, we got another one coming in 11 months.
Not including Star Wars Rebels.
Yeah, because you know, they've made money off of that.
And plus, they got all the comic book rights back from Dark Horse.
So they've been making, they've been reselling those comics.
Or they're making that money back.
Could I spend off a little POI on you?
Yeah, because there was something we've meant to talk about two segments ago and we didn't.
And I really want to, I really want to cover this.
The reason that Gary and Susan are in town, besides, you know, they came to visit me.
But they were actually at the cowboy game today.
In the Death Star.
That's why there you go.
My question for you guys, because we live here, Andrew and Chad and I live here.
So it's for us, it's Sunday.
Being a couple, and they are fans.
Let's look at this out there.
They are cowboy fans.
How was the experience for you guys being from a different section of the country
to be here in this madness?
It was amazing.
I love that.
You would say that.
Because yesterday, you guys got the tour of the stadium.
And I'm telling you dude, you to thought the game was happening yesterday.
Really?
There was a ton of people there.
Yeah, there was a lot of people there.
Now, did you get to participate in any of the Rally Day activities while you were there?
Not really.
Okay.
We didn't.
Because the tour took over to last.
Yeah, you weren't to tell about that.
Their tour got to two.
That guy could talk.
But other net, it was a blast.
I mean, being a cowboy fan, never get to see the games.
You know, go out on the field, experience all that stuff.
Amazing.
How was the presentation of the game itself?
Because I'm sure you've been to at least one Panthers game in your life.
I've been to a bunch of Panthers day.
How does, I mean, it's almost, it's almost an unfair comparison.
It is very unfair.
But how does that equate for you guys going to a game at Bank of America Stadium,
which is an outdoor stadium versus AT&T Stadium, which has a retractable roof?
Going into a Panthers game, it's like you go in.
You sit down, the game starts.
It's over.
Don't get me wrong, the fans are into it.
You know, the whole nine yards, but it just starts.
It stops.
Okay.
At AT&T, they have just about everything you can think of going on.
Sitzery overload kind of?
Yeah, I mean, it's just like you can't keep your eyes on one spot.
You're just walking around and I've got a live bands playing in certain sections and they've got
this corner there.
I mean, they have wild bands playing where, uh, Concord Concord, you know, I'm like,
wait, what?
And they were, they were up in the third or fourth deck and the pictures that I saw on Facebook.
It still looked like they, you had a great view of the field.
We were, we were as far top as you could go.
Okay.
Very top-right.
So this, the picture I saw you guys sitting in front of window,
you weren't just sitting in front of window.
You were in your seats.
Yeah.
Okay, fair enough.
Yeah.
You were sharing the popcorn with birds and stuff.
Right.
You had an oxygen tank and a stick to beat the goats that come around.
But, I mean, it's still looked like you had a really good view of everything.
Oh, had a great view.
Well, that's true.
I mean, I could, I could sit there and I was telling Susan.
I said, look, there's Jerry Jones walking around on the field.
Now, I could get you out without even looking at it.
During the fourth quarter, did they, did they show who walked into his suite?
I did not see this because he, the, okay, is under us.
But they didn't show it on the big screen or anything.
But my, my best friend, my roommate text me and says,
did you know that Vince McMahon is in Jerry Jones's suite?
I don't know.
Yes, it was.
They showed it in the fourth quarter.
They showed just as Vince was walking in.
And I, I had just woken up from a power nap because that third quarter was so boring.
And Chad was in my front room, working on something.
And I was like, dude, he's like, first of all, you scared to hell at me.
I thought you were still asleep.
I'm like, Vince is in Jerry's suite.
He's like, what?
And they cut back to it.
And there's Vince and all of his Vince's,
you know, with his Vince's.
Really, it really was.
Now, when you guys got the tour yesterday, did you get to go into his suite?
Yes.
So, did you get to see the, the private,
crow's nest up top that had all the video stuff in it?
Yes.
All right.
That was insane.
That go into his little office and see, he's got just a layer of screens.
He has his own video suite in a private room above his suit.
And he can go to any camera view that is in there anytime he wants.
Wow.
I was just like, wow, this isn't saying.
This is what it's like to be a billionaire.
So, and, and also want to send the shout out to your brother
who that he and his, his lady came with you guys.
Yes, which is always cool when you go out of town.
You go with with another couple because then you can experience it together.
Do you think you could have still had the same experience if it were just the two of
y'all or just did having them there take it to a different level for you?
Well, me and Susan has been here.
We sing the old stadium.
Yep.
And to a preseason game.
Oh, that was, that was amazing, too.
I mean, it was, it's like you can't compare it to because for me,
me and my brother both grew up, cowboy fans.
Absolutely.
And our dream was to always go to Texas to see the Cowboys playing Texas.
Much less the redskins at that, you know.
So, it was, it was a double double for me.
I have my beautiful life with me and I have my brother.
So, it was a, it was a way out.
So, he that just see the history because we've been here before.
Right.
And you guys got to be able, I mean,
you want to talk about it unfair comparison.
You can't compare Texas stadium to 18th stadium.
No, that's like comparing a little league stadium to the Colosseum.
Yeah.
And you were saying that when you were comparing Texas stadium to the,
the, the stadium in Carolina, you're like,
you can't even do that with the old stadium here.
It, it eclipses that one by a long shot.
I don't know, I think if I had to pick between Texas stadium and,
and Bank of America, I think Bank of America would be.
Oh, Bank of America is a very nice.
I was going to say, I, I, I don't, I'd almost pick Bank of America.
Say it in just because, but the last few years, Texas stadium just got so rundown.
And this year, uh, Bank of America did a, a lot of upgrades.
Oh, did they really get bigger screens for the, the enzymes and,
that, it's a very nice outside stadium.
So overall, great presentation, no regrets, absolute blast outside of the loss.
But other than the $80 parking fee.
Yeah, I don't know, I actually was able to see this first hand serve.
And the person I was telling you about earlier today, that's who that is.
Okay.
You went when you went saw Star Wars, and you got the park at a CCs for 20 bucks,
and they gave you a pizza.
Mm-hmm.
Stripes, they were so dope.
It is, if you want a park at the Wendy's, that's a block from a stadium.
It's $70.
Oh, my god, I'm not, I'm not exaggerating this, sir.
Not at all.
And they probably make you buy food.
Oh, well, they weren't open yet.
Oh, well.
You got to remember, Wendy's don't open until like 11, 11, 30 bucks.
I dropped them off a tin.
This thing, this parking situation down there is out of control.
It's obscene.
Yes.
In Charlotte, you can park right a block away from the Panther stadium,
and it's at most $60.
I mean, you're paying 60 if you're parked almost to the freeway.
Yes.
It's insanity.
And ours goes from $60 to $20 real quick.
I don't even think there's on $40.
It's insane.
I was driving up Collins to get back to 30 to come home.
I was just, my jaw just kept dropping with these people or charging for parking.
I can't even imagine what it's at the stadium.
If it's 80 to park a block away,
you're in triple digits to park at the stadium.
Yeah, that's, that's, that's gouging of the,
of the worst kind.
Wow, we just completely changed topics on the,
oh, well, because I wanted to make sure,
I wanted to talk about this during football talk,
and then you know how scatterbrained I can get when we're on air.
No, but I wanted, I definitely wanted this documented.
Number one, so you guys can have it,
so you come back and listen to it later.
And since that way, for the 90th time,
when somebody says, how is your vacation?
Well, let me play you this piece of audio.
Yeah, all right.
But also, I better than the snapshot.
I'm always interested when people come to visit for whatever reason.
I want, I love to hear people's opinions on how things work
in this bird compared to where they are.
Because we talked a lot about when we were driving around about how
Dallas has just become a ramp jungle.
Yes.
Where has Charlotte's a little bit simplerly laid out,
where it's just, it's everything's one way.
So if you, if you, if you miss it, you just take a,
make a big square and then you're back where you need to.
Everything's in squares in Charlotte.
You, you miss it.
You just take the next time.
You're going to have tan turns and you're right back there.
And which means three, three left do make a right.
But here, like, you can get so confused so quickly.
Thank God for GPS.
Because I live here.
My GPS, we were getting confused.
Yeah, things, things were getting wonky on us a little bit.
So I wanted to make sure we talked about that because I wanted to hear
what you guys as opinions were.
It was really important to me because I, I always loved to hear
about perspective.
How was it getting in and out of the stadium?
Very easy.
I mean, there, there was people all around the health.
Yeah, that was, that was a lot better than what Caroline has.
Really?
Yeah.
The mantle of the crowd was really good.
How was it getting in, but how was it, because you know,
getting in people are kind of coming in phases.
How was it getting out of there?
Because everybody's leaving at the same time.
It, surprisingly, easy.
Really.
Yeah, I was actually kind of shocked as as many people
that AT&T holds.
I thought for sure, this is going to be a madhouse.
But walking out, I mean, I was shocked.
I was trying to get out of Bank of America.
It is way worse getting out of Bank of America.
Everybody just floods Bank of America.
But AT&T, there was,
like, since you can go out.
So everybody's rushed into the same spot
so you get bottlenecked.
Oh, God.
AT&T, it's not that way.
I mean, it's just not that way.
I mean, it's just not that way.
I did like how, I mean, Chad and I have a very big
high level of claustrophobia.
Yeah.
I did like how, the escalators, the escalators that go down.
So many people would get on it and attend it with stop people
and go and then just clear out from them a bit.
And they would come out.
American Airlines centers the same way.
I thought that was, which is a great arena.
But I mean, I definitely, one of my things is I want to get
to as many stadiums as I can in my lifetime.
And that just gives me another reason to go see my family
because they live there, which helps.
So as soon as I can get some time clear away, I know.
And I'm sure your dad's probably saying the same thing.
And her my uncle, who I love greatly,
who used to hold me up with one hand above his head
when I was a child and just kind of spin me back and forth
right next to the fan and don't tell him, tell him,
I don't, don't think I forgot about that because I didn't.
But some try that now.
Try it now.
Believe me, he might.
He's still probably good.
Yeah.
Look at a profile.
My uncle Robert is not a small man.
Neither are you.
Oh, that's a fair point.
Believe me.
No offense.
I mean, I get of it every day when I get out of bed.
So cool.
Because I really want to make sure that we got to that.
I don't see him refusing you as Simba.
That ain't going to tell me to find that shirt.
OK.
All right.
We're going to skip NBA because there's
not really much to talk about this week.
Just because we've taken so much time in B.O.I.
Good conversation.
I don't want a stupid boat movie length episode of the show.
So let's go.
You could, you could some MBA up in one thing.
Steph Curry.
It's over.
Yeah.
But you know, the Mavericks beat them the other night.
The Mavericks gave him their second law.
Second law, so the season.
So he wasn't playing.
Now next time you guys come down,
we'll have to go do something at the arena because I'm telling you,
the American Airlines Center is a gorgeous arena.
And it's just, you talk about not a bad seat in the whole place.
There really is.
And I saw, I saw Van Halen and Billy Joel both there
and from the third deck and no problems.
I saw Prince there and it was, it was still like being a jealous.
You're a Prince fan?
A big Prince fan.
OK.
Let's take this offline because you don't have that kind of time.
We don't have that kind of time.
We'll be talking like that is Prince fan one sitting to your right, sir.
I'm a pretty good guy.
He took, he took me to my first Prince show.
In 97.
I've never got to see him laugh.
He never comes.
Actually first it's the only time I've ever seen him.
I've never seen him like that.
Yeah, he did.
He come like once.
He's been there more.
He's been in your neck of the woods more recently than he's been in all ours.
I think since I can remember, he's been there maybe twice.
All right.
So he can let me also just go right into music talk to him.
Put a pin in that.
Same way.
Um, so Cole play, who we know is going to be your Super Bowl half.
I can't name you one song for him.
Well, you're listening to one right now.
Yeah, I don't even know the name of this is called clocks.
I actually like this song.
But first of all, this is not your Super Bowl half time.
Let's just be honest.
Every time I hear this song for whatever reason, I can only hear Cartman singing it.
And I've never heard Cartman sing it.
But I think I'd be singing.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
But we all know the Eric Cartman of Rock music is Billy Corrigan.
But Cole plays doing an interesting thing on their new tour.
Where they're taking about a 20 minute segment in the middle of the show.
And they're taking Cole play requests from the audience.
Oh, well, that's so cool.
Hey, here's the song that I haven't heard you guys do live in like 10 years.
Do this song.
And then they go when they do it.
Play that one song.
Yes.
No, that's in this family guy.
But I think that's kind of cool.
They're like, nobody will ever do it the way I think that Harry
connected this in the mid 90s.
Where his band was so good that day would in the middle of the show go.
And he requests at all.
What song you guys want to hear?
Sugarland did that with us.
And like he goes like the other night.
My band played bar myths from music.
Didn't know it, but they did.
That's insane.
I mean, I'm a big Harry comic fan.
But I mean, I think it's kind of cool when you can interact with your crowd that way.
Like when I went saw Billy Joel, he got the guy that needs to do this.
He got to a point where he was just like, okay.
So we have two songs we can do next.
One's kind of a little bit more mainstream, but one's kind of a deeper cut.
And so he just took a vote by the audience and they voted for the deeper cut song.
He was like, cool, let's do it.
And then he just wouldn't did it.
But they say springsteens like that.
If you're going to be in springsteens band, it's a lot like prints.
You better know every song has ever been recorded in the history of ever.
Because at any point, springsteens will go,
let's do the record.
Rick and the Edmund Fitzgerald and E.
Well apparently I have an hour and a half now.
He's SNL was good though.
He was a musical guest when Tina Fey and Amy Polar hosted.
That was a good show.
I'm not bad at reaching him singing that at the as they did the good nights.
They were on the musical stage.
And the whole cast came out and they all did Santa Claus is coming to town with him in the band.
Oh, that's cool. That was pretty neat.
It's just missing.
And the new guy is missing one.
I was a little nervous about the guy replacing Clarence Clarence Clarence.
Yeah, he's good.
Good.
I have good.
As a sax player, I have approved.
So, as you're stamp on it, so I'll take your word for it.
So, yeah, because you know how big of a Clarence Clarence Clarence fan is.
Those are some huge shoes that this are sold, sir.
And other interesting rock and roll haul of fame news.
I don't know if you read this this week, sir.
We have your people that are going in.
So, Cago is finally getting in.
Peter Satera will not be there.
Why? He isn't fatally denying going.
I can't get in there.
I cannot stand it.
I don't get it.
Like, you're the dude.
Like, I love Chicago Post Peter Satera.
Don't get me wrong.
But you're the dude.
He's the one to give him the hits.
Yeah, he's the voice that I grab away.
This guy right here.
That's him.
Why did these guys pull this crap?
I don't think I'm talking to you.
I don't get it.
Excellent.
I'm sorry.
Well, we're going to talk about him here in a minute.
I don't.
But apparently he's in factually denying he will not be there.
I mean, this is a rock and roll haul of fame.
Sure, it's in Cleveland and you're going to induct people in New York.
But that's a whole different point.
I just, I don't get it.
This is like, this is the thing.
This is the thing that you get to do.
Validates everything.
They're, there must be something going on behind the scenes in the rock or roll haul
of fame that we just don't know about or will never see because this happens way too often.
Way too often for there not to be a really good reason for them to say, no, I want no part of this.
I don't know if it's because they think they're just being too corporate about it
that they're being commercialized too much.
Yeah, right, whatever.
But Peter Satera has got to be something to do is shallow and pedantic.
Go ahead, Peter.
That's the fun himself.
Go, go, Andrew.
That's you.
Not just saying nothing.
I agree.
Oh, thanks.
That's why he's the king of bowling.
Wow.
A man a few words there, Rob.
I think they should put some points on the board right away in their room.
Chats like color guy.
So, oh, my actually.
But I don't get it.
It's a good class, too.
It's a really good class.
NWA's going in.
Oh, thank God.
To the rock and roll.
Rendium season.
I know, so I'm not saying that justifies it.
I think there should be a hip hop all the fame.
I do, too.
Why is there not?
Copy right there.
Because I want to take over rock and roll, too.
You know what, I'll tell you what, the rock and roll hall of fame is on my bucket list.
I have to go there once.
Yes.
I'm great.
It's the only reason I go to Cleveland.
But what is Cleveland like a theme today?
What's going on?
It's the music.
It's something we keep coming back to.
We'll just call this one the Cleveland.
And we all know why it rock and roll hall of fame's in Cleveland, right?
That's Cleveland rock.
Well, there's a read.
There's a specific reason.
The very first recorded rock and roll concert in history was in Cleveland.
That's why it's in Cleveland.
We've talked about that.
And who was that?
I don't know that.
Ah, that was good.
Sammy, in other news, Janet Jackson has had to postpone her unbreakable tour
because she's ill, which anybody else see the irony there.
So she broke something.
Just saying.
You know, we can't do start house fires.
Yeah, you know, we're stressed.
But she is like I'm off to a flame burn by the fire.
You're better than that.
No, I really don't.
I say you are, sir.
That was a karaoke staple of the lovely and talented Mrs. Irvin there for a while.
That's on.
That's the way love goes.
That is a true story.
You're whysing that?
That is a true story.
Why do I love to hear that?
That is very fiable.
She is no more than 50 feet away from this studio right now.
That is very fiable.
So there's that.
So speaking, we talked earlier about these guys,
you used to sing that's the way love goes by Janet Jackson on karaoke.
There you go.
Thank you.
I've only ever heard some of a preacher man from you.
Well, that was that was in her dusty spring fill phase.
She's like the castle.
She's about to please you.
She has phases now.
Oh, my wife, my wife has layers people.
She's like an onion.
Exactly.
So there is a very strong...
Not sure that she would appreciate.
I like onions, okay?
There's a very strong rumor right now saying
the original line it will not be original.
The ones that are left on the planet.
Of Guns and Roses will be together at Coachella this year.
That is confirmed.
Now, it goes a little deeper.
The rumor is this will turn into a stadium tour.
At a personnel cost of 3 million per show.
Good Lord.
Now they're saying the tickets as high as $275.
Here's a question.
Hi, Anne.
Have you seen Adele tickets?
That's what they know with the Adele tickets.
Start?
You want to sit for for Adele.
It's going to cost you the better part of a G,
which has caused many wonderful, wonderful memes.
Like...
Hello from the parking lot.
No, yeah, hello from the outside.
Hello from my couch as I'm going to watch the NBC special.
And I love the Adele.
I've said that's well documented on this show of the Adele.
But dear heart, what are you thinking?
I mean, are you bringing like, is it going to turn into a Broadway show?
Because if that's the case, I get it.
I don't understand where this is all coming from personally.
She's going to be in our fair burger.
I believe November the first is the contest.
There's the first second in the third.
I think she's doing multiple shows.
Found it, by the way, the Cleveland thing.
courtesy of Alan Fried.
Ah, the great Alan Fried.
He promoted dances and concerts featuring the music he was playing on his radio show.
And he was the organizes of a five-act show called the Moon Dog Coronation Ball on March
24th, 1952 at the Cleveland Arena.
That event is known as the first one.
A new dog spot involved?
He's a Hall of Fame wrestler.
I somehow I doubted.
Okay.
What are you going to throw me a curve?
Uh, yeah.
Don't think you'll ever hear this song live by this band again because they are done.
I don't know, they've done like share or are they done like done?
No, this is contractually done.
We talked about this.
I mean, this tour has been going on for the better part of a year.
But it was called the all bad things.
Let's come do it into her.
At one point, for a good chunk of it, they were doing with Alice Cooper.
I don't know who they wound up with.
If he was still with him or not.
Apparently on the last show, Tommy Lee's drum cage got stuck upside down.
But there's going to be a documentary that they were filming because it was two nights at the
Staples Center.
So they're filming a documentary about it.
But this is, so this is contractually bound.
They have signed contracts.
I said, this is it.
The only thing that we'll do is we might do some studio work.
But we will never tour again.
Nobody's allowed to use the name on tour.
Nothing.
Okay, that's just a church.
This is done.
Yeah, that's a done deal.
So, only one music new release that made any impact as I was reading the list this week.
Bowie, it's called Black Star.
People have thrown his name out as a really good candidate for the doctor by the way.
Am I, and you think, couple of these old?
Why would you go with him?
Because I want to do doing, or I'm sorry, that was more like Tim Curry.
Yes, it was.
David Bowie is not Tim Curry.
David Bowie was not franken for now.
But yeah, his new album.
There will never be wheels on this show.
Ever just leave him in the yards.
Yeah, we, we, we come at the gate on blocks.
As I once said, we start on blocks and drive on axles for two hours.
So, there's a bit of a gouges in the pavement.
All right, kids, time to take a deep breath.
Because we have a pretty big in memoriam segment to do this week.
And this one hurt.
We start with another piece of my childhood deciding it doesn't want to be around anymore.
Metal Lark Lemon.
One of the greats from the Harlem Globe Trotters passed away two days after Christmas.
He was, he was also a minister.
He was, uh, for 22 years, he was known as the clown prince of the Harlem Globe Trotters.
Played in more than 16,000 games for the Globe Trotters.
Wow.
Was inducted into the Nace Myth Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
Metal Lark Lemon was called the greatest player of all time by one wilt Chamberlain.
Oh, she's was born in, uh, Wilmington, North Carolina.
So we have a connection in the studio.
Graduated the same year my mother was born.
And that's all I'm going to say because of my mother ever decides in the history of ever.
She actually wants to listen to this show and she hears me say what year she was born.
I will be in a shallow grape on the side of the freeway.
You can google it.
Uh, he actually went spend some time at Florida, Agen and University.
The ratlers.
And then went into the army served for two years in Austria and West Germany.
Uh, applied to the Globe Trotters at age 22, started playing in 1955.
Cali, do you know, he didn't do his own voice on the animated series, the Harlem
of the Trotters and the Super Globetrotters.
Who did his voice?
It would surprise me if any of them did.
Scatman Crothers did his voice.
The same guy that was hung down food.
So when he got done with his Hong Kong was the Metal Lark Lemon.
Oh, I forgot that he was in the fish that saved Pittsburgh.
I'm just going to leave that right where it goes.
Wouldn't that also, didn't that also have the kid that was Michael and E.T. in it?
I think so.
How do you like that?
I love, I love this little bit here.
In 1982, Lemon was featured in the Grammy nominated video, Fun in Games, an interactive
educational video produced by Optical Programming Associates and Scholactic Productions.
Scholastic Productions, I'm sorry.
On the then emerging laser disc format.
And the now dead in the water.
Russell said apparently Paul Simon's find out the wind star 200 bucks if you want to go see him.
I got that on that side.
So he will definitely be missed died at the age of 83.
No cause given at this time.
Man, this next one's going to hurt to talk about it.
It hurts me really bad.
Um, you know, let's just play this one just because this one's worth it.
70 years old had just turned 70 and four days old this past week on Monday as Ian Fraser
let me kill my star.
Passed away.
If you don't know the name first of all, get out of my country.
Secondly, lead singer base player for motorhead.
If you are a WWE fan and you don't know who Lemon is, then you're not a WWE fan.
Because I'm going to throw you into a cage.
You must have just started watching last week.
If Triple H was involved outside of the band, his kid, his brother was in.
This was the guy.
I mean, for this generation, that's pretty much all you can say.
For people of RLK, I mean, this guy's, wow, how long his motorhead been around.
I mean, as long as I can remember,
they have been around for a really long time.
Well, let's see, after he got done roting with, uh, roting for Hendrix and he,
he joined up with Hawkewind in the late late 60s, early 70s.
71 to 75 was Hawkewind.
Motorhead started in 1975.
Yeah, it was right everywhere the Hawkewind.
I mean, that is taken up.
So this guy, this guy has been in bands longer than I have walked the planet.
He's been, he's been, he's been kicking ace in motorhead for 40 years.
He shared an apartment in 1967 with the base player of the Jimmy Hendrix experience.
Yeah, they were, they were on the road crew.
He was, he got a job as a roti in 68.
He joined a band, uh, he joined the band with them and recorded an album called Escalator.
They also joined Opel Butterfly.
Do you write our right at the end?
I mean, very few people rock harder than this guy.
But he was 70!
And had a sensitive side to him that really shot, you know what my, you know what my favorite
Aussie song is, right?
No more tears?
No.
No, my mom coming home.
Yep.
Yep.
Let me wrote that.
Yeah, I'm just now reading that now.
That threw me for a loop.
See, he wrote, mom, I'm coming home and see you on the other side.
I mean, my love for this guy, I didn't realize how much I did love this guy.
He wrote the theme music for Down and Dirty with Jim Norton.
That doesn't shock me at all.
I forgot he was in toxic adventure for.
Never talk to him.
I never saw.
I didn't know they did one passage.
He did show me how in Juliette.
He also did, he was played the president and returned in Newcome High.
And if you were played brutal legend,
I have not.
Or I know what you're talking about.
He basically plays himself in brutal legend.
He was an unlockable character in the guitar here on Metallica.
Yep.
Which I did.
I mean, you'd love brutal legend, by the way,
isn't that the jack black thing?
Yeah, which you're not a fan of.
I'm not a fan of him, but everybody else that was involved, Aussie's in it.
That was brutal legend.
It's a video game.
It's a video game for the 360 and the PS3,
where you're basically going through a medieval land.
It's made up of metal, metal songs.
Nice Rob Halford's in it.
I'm surprised you haven't heard of this.
If I say, if you got a video game console from the last generation,
and you've never played this game, go to the Xbox Store,
the PlayStation Store, and download it, you will freaking love it.
It's funny, and the soundtrack is extremely great.
I know a son who's fixing the losing Xbox.
And hopefully it's not listening right now.
I mean, look it up and see, because it's,
it's got to be selling for an extended nothing.
It's been up for years.
Oh, that's right.
I'm talking to him doing a bit of a rake in commercial.
Was that metal lock?
Lemon's Burger King commercial.
I forgot all about that.
Why do I not know this?
You'd love to look this thing up.
It's no one, no one what you're in.
It didn't really, it's cool.
You would love this game.
And it was, I mean, it was everywhere for like an hour and a half.
And then it just disappeared.
It was very strange.
Well, it's got really good ratings and good reviews.
Because Tim Sheafer did it.
The guy that did like, Mediac mentioned,
and day of the 10 o'clock, and, um,
oh gosh, um, it's some tasty water.
I'll do, I'll do some research for you.
Yeah, let's, let's go ahead and move on to the next one,
because we want to talk about Wayne Rogers,
who was a very big presence in my childhood.
You may not know the name, but if I say Trapper John M.D.,
you better know who I'm talking about,
as long as you got the right show.
You're talking about, no, that was the same character.
It was the same character, but not the same actor.
Correct.
Yeah.
Who was, uh, he was the roommate of Hawkeye,
uh, before you had a honey cut was second.
Yes.
Big fan, because when I was growing up,
my mom and I watched Nash a lot.
And I really, I mean, let's see.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from the web school
in Buckle, Tennessee, graduated in Princeton with a history of degree.
Served in the Navy.
There you go, sir.
Hey, um, I'm all about that.
Uh, early on appeared on the invaders, the FBI Gunsmoke,
Gomer, pile, USMC, the fugitive.
I forgot that he had a small role in cool hand Luke.
I've not seen that movie in years.
He was on Mass from 72 to 75.
I thought he was on that longer than that.
Yeah, how did too?
He was also in Ghost of Mississippi.
I haven't watched that movie in a long time.
Uh, did a series from 1972 called House Calls with Lynn Redgrave.
I think I remember that.
Both were nominated for Golden Globes in 1980.
He won.
He was also on Cagney and Lacy.
Well, this is going on.
He also, but had a five-time recurring role in murder,
she wrote, that was like the law and order of the early 80s,
because like everybody was on that show.
Everybody had a swim through that.
He also did a lot of financial work with Stockholm,
Stockholm, Stokes, and real estate markets, and things like that.
Got his Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2005.
Died from complications of pneumonia on New Year's Eve.
He was 82 as a friend of ours, or a leader,
tends to say it's a big bucket of wind.
Yes, indeed.
And then, on New Year's Day,
because apparently we didn't have enough of that.
Enough celebrities passing away.
Well, I think this got announced on New Year's Day,
but it actually happened New Year's Eve.
Yeah, I have a New Year's Eve.
Yes, you are correct, sir.
Natalie Cole passes away.
65 years old.
That's a big, big, big bucket of wind for her.
A congestive heart failures with their saying.
We didn't, we didn't know one New Year's Day.
Nobody was saying what was going on.
Yeah, I even looked it up yesterday, and I still hadn't said.
Of course, daughter of one of your favorite cruners,
outside of the great Natting Cole, a huge fan.
Who's version of the Christmas story?
I think it's the only version you recognize properly.
To me, it's not Christmas until I hear it.
I mean, this album where she did the duets with her father
from raw tapes, one eight on of Grammys.
Battle drugs for many, many years.
But always, always respected her.
She just had that she was a female version of her dad,
vocal, she really, really was.
And I was a big fan.
I mean, it was one of those.
I had to double check and find a bajillion resources before I was really able to say,
okay, this is really the thing.
Because that was just, she's one of those people that just didn't,
she could have been 800, and I'd have been cool with it.
You know what I mean?
I was the same way with Lemmy.
Yeah, there's just certain people for some reason that you
want to be immortal.
Now, this album did that for her.
And then, I know that SNL did a very
we're interesting sketch about it with Cleghorn.
Yes.
But with Tami Wynet.
No, the best one. Who was it?
It's just, I'm not dead.
That's Tami Wynet, okay.
So, big bucket of win for her.
A lot going on in, uh, in in Memoria this week.
Well, when we don't do a show for a couple of weeks,
he seems to kind of pile up, but even if we didn't finish our last week,
all four of these would have still been this week.
Yeah, this is what I mean.
Yeah, it was just weird.
That's where we had to give it its own segment two years ago,
because we were getting so many of these things.
So, one for the, and I still, the circumstances behind Lemmy
to really took my, took my breath.
Even sick for a while.
But he didn't realize what he had until two days before it,
before it took him from us.
Mm-hmm.
Like, he, he started, they had his birthday party.
And then he goes and gives his complaining of headaches,
finds out that he's got cancer in his brain,
and it is neck, and in two days later he's gone.
So, get your, get your, get your routine checks, kids.
Mm-hmm.
Well, I'm saying.
It's part of what we did, the, the big, movember thing,
where I grew the beard out.
Men's health awareness people.
I found a picture of him in brutal legend if you want to see him in.
Yes.
It really is a fun game.
And while Chad's doing that, we're going to go ahead,
combine sports and entertainment.
He just melted, look at his, that is.
Talk a little pro wrestling.
So, someone announced this past week that they're going to be at WrestleMania 32,
with a very stadium that my cousin and her husband were at.
Well, they're making my cousin in the wall.
Yes.
That works.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
But they were at the place that this guy's going to be at on April 3rd.
That'll put some butts in seats, and I'm not saying that facetiously at all.
Mr. Myvia will be in town.
Mr. Myvia.
Well, that member, Rocky Myvia?
I know.
There's a little bit.
I know, just, and by the way, since last time we were on the air,
I don't know if we mentioned it or not, but he and his girlfriend had a daughter.
So it congrats to Dwayne.
He's a parent.
I really feel bad for the kids that's going to date her.
You feel bad for that one.
You feel bad for Paul White's kids.
It's Paul White's daughters.
I don't know.
I think Rocky's charisma could be a lot more brutal to a young man.
They're just, then, big shows size.
Because you know what you're getting into there.
Yeah, that door opens and you look up, and you keep looking up,
and you keep looking up, and then you see head and the clouds.
But then you see that smile.
Like, Frenchy has a, has, um, oh, hold on one second.
Um, uh, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Uh, I'm gonna let you finish because as is the custom on this show,
I've left my iPad and the other ring.
So it's good, no cold head.
So Rocky's going to be a rated manion.
Yeah, so Rocky's gonna be a Resselmania and Rupes.
Pull, pull, pull, pull, pull.
Go ahead.
Sit down.
Wow, we were just getting settled into a groove here.
here. I know you were. I've got our group back. I've had that back up and I forgot
that I left it on the chart. You say Andrew got his group back, is that what you did?
But apparently, I'm speaking of Rocky though, I heard a really weird story this week
that he and Hogan are being considered for expendables four.
Have you seen the third one?
Oh, have you seen Hogan? Did you see Stallone running in the first one? His legs were like
little twizzlers. But nobody runs better than Steven sigal though.
I would never say that to his face. But is it just me or does it look like one of those
inflatable tentacles and out in front of an auto dealership the way he flails his arms around?
And I don't know if you saw this, but WWE also knows because you know they've got the big,
they've actually kind of taken over where UFC's kind of left tap out out in the cold. WWE's actually
picked him up. And they're going to be opening a chain of tap out gyms.
Oh, across the country. And in the Buffalo area, Rob Gronkowski wants to buy in.
Because Gronk doesn't have enough going on. So I think it's going to make a ton of money.
I like the new logo. I don't know if you guys have seen some of the new gear coming out.
They changed the logo. It doesn't look as gothic anymore. It's a little bit more current
streamlined. I like the new logo a lot. I think Cena's actually wearing some of the new gear
on the new muscle and fitness magazine that he's in. So there's that.
So now that Reebok has went into the UFC pretty much tap out. Oh yeah, tap outs just
go out there now. But now, WWE's like, don't we'll take him. So there you have it.
We talked last time we were on the air about uh,
Ray Mysterio signing a contract with Lucha Underground. We found out this week
that that contract is a two-year contract. And I saw yesterday that he's being advertised
in a match. I believe in Japan with one AJ Styles. Really.
That might be kind of fun. And so being AJ's back to a hundred percent. But he wrestled at
final battle for ROH. So there's that. He works with Ray. He won't be a hundred percent for a long
that's a fair point. But the good news is that they're in Japan. And they're they're kind of a
stickler like you know. Yeah. You learn how to wrestle there. So ROH really has a good relationship
with them now. So I'm very much enjoying the ROH product. But there's just not a lot of stories.
A lot of wrestling. So it's kind of kind of hard for us to talk about on this show.
But yeah, this got wrestled. And this got wrestled. Moving on. But it was good. I mean it's good wrestling.
So Hall of Fame tickets going on sale January the 15th. Why in the name of all things
good and holy does WWE keep putting stuff on sale on Friday mornings. Some of us have jobs people.
I don't remember having to do the Saturday morning because they expect you to do this at your job
and not actually do your job. Especially with what the potentially this Hall of Fame class could be.
When are they going to start announcing that? It'll be the sometimes you'll get your headliner like
the week before the rumble. But they really start to get serious with it like the week after the rumble.
But because remember the rumble's only two weeks away. Yeah. That's why I'm asking it's a little early this
year. So there is that. Russ doesn't the chat room that apparently Jim Ross is considering
being a Pittsburgh Pirates Broadcaster. So a certain member of this show that'll be happy about that.
Yeah. So I haven't seen him check in yet. I have to find out what's going on with him. I don't
think he's been having family stuff. So and congratulations to this young man.
Jeff Hardy becomes a father for the second time with his lady.
Daughter's name is Nira Quinn. Why would he name her Nira do you know?
No clue. His middle name is Nero.
What? Jeff Hardy's middle name is Nira. That's true story.
True story. And he's almost back to ring shade after that motor cycle accident that took him out.
So speaking of TNA which none of us can watch anymore because it's on a station that none of us get.
I don't know if you guys get pop TV or you are. It's used to be the TV guide channel. That's
called natural selection. But Michael Bennett from ROH who is married to one Maria Kinellis
is headed to TNA. Good luck with all that bruv. Enjoy your swim through obscurity because I can
still get ROH on my TV. I can't get your program. Sorry. And speaking of people and relationships
therein, congratulations to Mickey James and Magnus. They got married this weekend. They have a
son together. So Mosul top to you kids. That's been my celebrity crush. Mickey James? Yes.
I would help you. I would help you wasn't making this long done.
Like please dummy. You didn't just ask him that. That's great singer. And Rodrick strong
your current ROH TV champion got engaged over the holidays to a marina shafir.
Do you just say not a good singer? Mickey James? Yeah. Who the heck cares if she can sing or not?
I didn't say I cared. I'm just stating a fact. I couldn't. What? She sings? I did exactly.
Oh, you must have missed that episode. Oh, she's a country artist. Yeah. No, she allegedly. She
that's what they say. She played in Charlotte. Oh, did she really do long ago? Yeah.
Great rest of the whole far back. But Rodrick strong engaged to a marina shafir. She's a
member of Ronda Rousey's four horse women in MMA. Did you do a good job of protecting her?
I guess not. All right kids, let's talk raw. So Chad, I check you weren't here for
raw this week. No, I was not. Need to take a breath. So so Roman comes out
by the way, love his his coins on the belt. He just look really cool.
Stephanie comes out, starts running her mouth. I know, Stephanie didn't come out and Vince came out
first. Started running his mouth and Roman put his hands on him and then Vince was faking a neck
injury. Oh boy. Now we're in Brooklyn. Okay, remember right the bar clay center. Stephanie comes
down with security and the cops. And those of you that can't imagine. Now the cops, I was doing the
finger quote. Well, the cops were real because of the same cops they used every time they come
to New York. Those are real honest of God and YPD officers. Okay. So she wants them to arrest Roman
and I went, oh man, the arrest that man angle thing again. And then the cops went, no.
So Vince gets a little heated grabs the lapel of order of detectives and Vince gets all the
hells. So I was like, you know what? And then they walked Vince through the crowd,
which I thought was a nice touch. So at least we're thinking a little bit outside of the box.
It was still way over the top and it was Vince being Vince. And of course we had Renee
young live from the precinct as he gets bailed out and they had his mug shot on rock.
So that happened. Sure she was wife in the precinct. And I'm just like, oh boy, they did read all of
the posts about the phone calls that down the police department because people fans wanted to know
how to bail Vince out. That's a real thing. That happens. Get out of here. My wife. My cousin
bringing the knowledge sir. Wow. But no, that's a thing I did read that Jerry bailing out.
Um, we don't believe that we need to bail out Vince McMahon. He might be good in our secondary.
Hi, Bay. That's a little scary. Well, you live in this town. You learn how to do a
fake Jerry. It's just it's like everybody does a fake Jerry. It's like here's your water burger
and here's your fake Jerry. So um, but a great match by both the new day and the
Luchadragon. You know, I'm a huge Luchadragon's fan. Yeah. But in that match, St. Cara does
separate his shoulder. So there's that, but it was a really good match. Um, oh boy. Oh,
our truth. Oh, no, our truth. Our truth. Our truth. My heart's hurt.
He's now the clown prince of the WWE. Great. Because he talked about how he needed to be
wrestler of the superstar of the year at the slammies and Mizz had to tell him the slammies were last
week. And so now he's doing this my bad thing. Our truth. Oh, God. You are no wrong Simmons.
Let's just get it out there. If you want to go be a trainer, I'm cool with that. You've
got ring skills. I will always respect him. But this bit is killing me. Oh, Russ is saying that he
gets popped pop TV on direct TV channel 273 my condolences. So maybe he'll have to send us a TNA report
and he's like, I'm not even going to be home for that. You hit me. God bless you, sir. There are
certain things I won't do for the company. And I'm going to throw something out there
because I had this really weird gut feeling. Could this guy win the rumble? Right back? I've
got this really weird gut feeling right now, sir. They're doing this weird push with him
that I can't figure out. I think if he doesn't win the rumble, he's final four. And I can't
tell you why. But the push that he's on is the weirdest push I've seen in years. It's like they're
pushing him, but they're not pushing him. That's in the water, maybe. But they've been testing the
water with him for like three years. Yeah, he's got this out. And Vince loves the big man.
I don't, but I don't get it. I just have this, I'm marching raw and I'm going,
this guy could win the rumble. He's working face right now. And on a side note,
am I the only one that's getting a headache looking at this field and green bay in the frozen
tundra of lembo field. Look at the way they've cut the field. It looks like everything's out of focus
and you're watching a really weak TV signal. They've done that Chris Cross
checkerboard pattern, but it's diagonal. And you're back in ladies and gentlemen. Wow.
There's so many levels to that joke that I can't even look, look, look, look, look.
It's weird. That is wheels off. Okay, third and one, but the yellow lines 10,
third and 11, they were hiding the other one. Okay. Yeah, no, really too. Many football fields come.
Yeah, I see baseball. Yeah, nice ball. And like I said earlier, we were in, we were in Brooklyn.
We're at the bar class. It will never cease to amaze me how much Brooklyn hates Cena.
There are very few cities that he gets booed in louder than New York, and I don't get it.
I don't know if Don knows somebody up there, and you made a phone call,
but the boobers were out in force. Well, think about where he's from. Think about where he's from.
That's true. He is from the Boston area. Exactly.
And I had to share this side with you, sir, because you know how people like John Cena likes
Nickelback or John Cena, he's playing cheeseburgers. Somebody actually took this time with the logo.
It's the playing cheeseburgers. Just stuff like that people do. Okay.
Somebody actually took this time up. I want this one.
John Cena likes episode one with the actual logo.
I said, sir, or madam, I don't know who you are, but you made my Monday night.
You know, I think that would be better as if it's that John Cena likes graffiti bridge. But it,
I love it when you can take a theme that's been beaten to death and do something a little bit.
So make it work. You know, make it work for me. That was funny.
I'm going to see if maybe someone did a screen capture of that. That's genius.
And it's, it's just a black and white side, but they actually did the whole Star Wars episode one
of the Phantom Menace logo. That's a deep cut.
Somewhere in Mesquite, Texas, there was a man watching Monday night raw, clapping in a room by himself.
I had to give it anything if I didn't know we were watching that with you when that popped up.
I think we both probably would, if we were drinking water or soda, we'd probably still be wiping the screen down.
Thank you, sir, madam.
All right, Nicky Bella. They are saying her neck injury now may be a result of her finisher.
The Rack attack, they're saying that may be what injured her neck.
So may have to change that coming up. How bad is it? They still don't know when she's coming back.
And that was why she dropped the title when she did because she had to go out for the injury.
So there's that. I'm sure she'll be fine. Also, Kirk Angel says his return will be
quote, very part-time. Good. There are rumors that WWE will bring him back to put him in the
Hall of Fame after his DNA contract runs out. But I don't know if Vince wants him in the ring.
I love Kurt Angle. I'm a fan, but it scares me every time he gets in there. That's a liability.
He's one bad spot away from paralysis. And we all know it.
Let's see what else. NXT is going to have their own award show after the slammy's happened.
So next week, January the 13th NXT is going to do their own awards. Why? Because they can.
Do they sold out their Dallas show WrestleMania weekend within less than an hour?
And they've opened up another 2,000 seats. They're going to go with a smaller stage set up,
something that we're seeing. I'm a fan. NXT's got some great great work going on down there.
She seems odd that they're having their own award show. And congratulations to Canada.
We're congratulating a country now. Yes, we are. Because they're going to get their first live
network special on March the 12th. It will be called the March to WrestleMania. You see what they did there?
That's clever. That's synergy. And it's going to be in Toronto.
So, they got that going form, which is nice. And I also want to say congratulations to one of my leaders.
The fact that this is one of your leaders.
You know it.
I love that writer. I just do it. He is dating the Emma.
What? No. The one that used to be with Santino, with the dancing thing, the Australian girl.
They are officially a thing. What happened to her? She's back in NXT working.
And kind of so is he. Pretty much.
Hey, Long Island baby. Long Island. It's all I'm saying.
So, let's talk a little bit to back down because it was the very last SmackDown on sci-fi.
It goes to USA this week, where they're talking about a bunch of changes coming to SmackDown.
So, there's that. The new day has to do entrance video. And it is a play on their shirts, chat.
So, I'm sure that LA and Don have it as animated wallpaper on their phone.
Also, I could be wrong, and I've been that way before a couple of times.
But I need to look closer the next time, Bubba Rays on television, because I think he has a new tattoo
on his right forearm, and I think it's a bulltron. Really. It looks like it from what I saw on Thursday night.
And if that happens, and he's automatically in the Hall of Fame, I don't care what he does.
Because if you have a bulltron tattoo, you're just automatically awesome.
Let me see. And we know that the shows have to have sponsors.
It's the logic is sound. Sponsors pay money to be on, to keep you on the air, right?
Exactly. But sometimes, sometimes, you may need to say no to a sponsor.
You'll smack down Thursday night with sponsored by the hatefully.
Yikes. Here's a question. Mr. McMahon, I have a question.
Have you seen the trailer for the film?
I sat in my living room like, I can't get the attitude era, but you're going to make this show a sponsor.
Did I miss a meeting? No, I think Vince might have missed a couple.
And the announcer's like, oh, yeah, this is a great film. Gotta go see it.
Maybe they're going to start breaking away from that. Who knows?
We can hope. Can you say that with a straight face or series?
I don't really anything out anymore. We did kind of cover hockey already because the winter
class with this week because we're running behind. So, we're going to go straight to movie talk
because we have to talk box office numbers. That's not where I want to be. There we go. That's
where I want to be. Are you ready, sir? Oh, yeah, all right. Nothing drops out of the top 10 this week.
So there's that.
Dropping from 9 to 10 this week is the Hunger Games mocking Jay Park 2, 4.7 million dollars,
7 weeks, 274.2 million dollars, 160 million dollar budget.
So, Katniss and the kids are doing well. Dropping from 8 to 9 this week,
point break,
the remake we had to have. And 20% of this studio has actually seen it and I don't want to mention any names,
but his initials are Andrew Beckham.
Really? The the app lied to me. I was supposed to, I was supposed to go see the big short
the app lied to me. Like, oh, it starts at 130. No, it starts at 110. I'm like, oh my god.
I don't even know what I watched. Actually, it was just a film for extreme sports is what it was,
what it is. And I'm pretty sure that people are in extreme sports would say this was an awful film.
6.9 million dollars, two weeks, 22.4 million dollars. The budget on this, 105 million.
That money will spent dropping from 7 to 8 concussion. Another $8 million dollars,
two weeks, 25.4 million dollars. This was a $35 million budget and a darn good film.
And we're going to talk about concussion here in just a minute because the very interesting
stories come up about that movie this week. Dropping from 6 to 7, the big short, which
apparently Andrew was trying to see, $9 million dollars, $4 weeks, $33 million, $28 million
dollar budget. And you've seen this as well, sir, have you not? Not all the way through.
But you've enjoyed what you've seen. Yes, I'm looking forward to it with myself.
Dropping from the bronze medal to 6th place this week, joy, $10.4 million dollars,
two weeks, $38.7 million dollars on a $60 million dollar budget, sir.
Not good either. Staying in fifth place.
Give me only one that knows in this studio because I have to cue something up.
Waiting for the song. Waiting for the song. This is rock. Waiting for the song.
Oh, you jack. I just want you to hear this, Gary.
Because we talked about this a little bit the other day.
Alvin in the chipmunks, the road chip makes another $11.8 million dollars,
three weeks, $67.4 million. I do not have a budget on that for a reason to live.
Staying in fourth place this week.
Sisters, which I actually would do want to see this. I do want to see this.
Makes another $12.6 million dollars, three weeks, $61.7 million dollars. I had a $30 million
dollar budget on it. Is it gone? It's gone. Okay, okay. I only did that when we were talking about
them. Okay, okay, okay. I just I couldn't put myself through that again.
Coming from 10th place to the bronze medal this week is the previously mentioned the hateful
eight. 16.3 million dollars, two weeks, just under 20, just under 30 million at the budget on this
one. I'm not on the hateful eight. Yeah. Yeah, I had 44 million. Really with that cast?
Geez. Very surprising. With that cast and locations. You want to know what we thought? You
probably should have subscribed on it. Yeah, highly recommended. That would be iTunes exclusive number
170. Staying in the silver medal position this week. Daddy's home. No desire to see this film.
And not for the same reasons. Chad doesn't want to see it. $29 million in two weeks. It is made
almost $94 million. But it's can't stop the juggernaut. It can't stop it. You can only hope to
contain it. Can't even do that. Star Wars the Force awakens another 88.3 million dollars.
Three weeks. Domestic. $274.3 million. Domestic. Domestic. The budget was 200 million now.
Internationally, it's made more money by $30 million and it's made domestic.
Is it even opened in China this week? China gets it this coming weekend. It's been a blow it up
even more. So right now, your worldwide totals is $1.5 billion. Wow. And again, just like Gary
just said, it has not opened in China. Which is a very big market. Now, one thing I love about
box office mojo is it will it does these things called showdowns. Like right now it has already
passed stupid boat movie to be number two all time. It is now chasing Thunder Smurfs.
17 days domestic for episode seven 7, 740.3 million dollars. 17 day total for Thunder Smurfs.
Same exact number of days. Thunder Smurfs at this point had only made 352 million. Domestic.
So it has doubled at this point what Thunder Smurfs had done at this point. God. That's insane.
It is a foregone conclusion that Thunder Smurfs is going down. But I couldn't be happier.
Even though he's never seen it all the way through. Now, if we look at opening weekend for 2015
17 days in episode 7, 740.3 million dollars. 17 day total for jurassic world.
500.4. So it's one and a half times what jurassic world had done at this point.
Which really shouldn't be a surprise to anybody at all. It is not the man. It really shouldn't.
We knew this was going to happen. Even if this movie was bad, it was going to make a ton of money.
All right, so let's get into some movie talk. Cinema Mark theaters. Do you guys have cinema
I don't know how far they go. But they are offering. If you are a member of the NFL players
association and you have your NFL PA identification card, you and your family can see concussion for free.
So first of all, respect the cinema. It's I'm telling you. It's it's a good flight. It really is. It
really really is. Mono we thought iTunes exclusive number 171. It's really good.
Like my expectations, I could walk over them and it crushed it. When we were going to the screen,
he really did not have much of a desire and boy that opinion changed quickly. It's that good.
And also check out the review of the hateful aid and concussion from our friends at the movie brothers.
Yes indeed. youtube.com slash the movie brothers. Be our UTHAS. They've got reviews for those two
films up right now as well. Good buddies of ours friends of the show. So I think it's a cool thing
that Cinema Marks doing. So if you are of you or somebody you know is a member of the NFL PA,
you can go see concussion for free. So there's that. And from the obvious department,
Rob Zombie's latest film 31 gets an NC 17 twice twice because he submitted it. They gave an NC 17.
He made some cuts and they gave it an NC 17. Wow. What you don't hear over your
whatever waves you're listening to this on right now is shock.
Does he seem like he went through something similar this for his last film more to sail
and in related news to him, apparently dementia no longer has the rights to the Halloween franchise.
Really? So where who did they refer to? It's not reverend to anybody right now.
So there's a bit of a bidding work. You all right? Okay. Well somebody's got to have it right?
Well I say the yeah, then who's just whoever the producers are trying to find a new place to
carry the rights for it. I guess that would be the a cod family because that's who's been holding
it for the longest time actually we all did originally. Let's say what I want to be surprised
on besides by like Sony picks it up. Or maybe the Weinstein's go after it. I can't like see
if it Lionsgate. So we talked about Thunder Smurfs earlier. There is a new Cirque-day Sole based
on the Thunder Smurfs franchise that is called T-O-R-U-K touric. Is that a
is that a Thunder Smurfs reference? I heard you're more of the expert than I. Looking at this
when when I saw it on the run, she don't like are we sure this is not too rock a movie based on
the video. No, this is a Cirque-day Sole based on Avatar. I've seen the trailer for it.
Oh no, I've got nothing. There is that. And we found out this week, Ryan Cougler, the director
of Creed will direct Black Panther. Boy, oh my god. Gary have you seen the trailer for Civil War yet.
I have. Does Black Panther not look amazing? I am super excited. Oh I can't wait for this movie.
Now have you seen Creed yet? No. I haven't talked to anybody who didn't say this is one of the
greatest films of the year. I've seen it. Creed? I can attest. It is one of the best films.
Still long got nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor. Really? The best rock
he filmed probably since the original Rocky. I was a big fan of Rocky 3, but anything after that.
No. But you know who can't watch the Creed? People were greedy lazy.
What he said. So in Cougler, if everybody that I've talked to that scene, Creed, they're like,
yeah, he'll crush this thing. Yeah. So it's a perfect fit. To Chala is in his hands.
So I take a Michael B. Jordan did a good job. Oh yeah. He definitely had to do it's amazing anyway.
I don't know how you go from being in one of the worst films of the year in Fantasy 4 to being in one of the
best films in the year with Creed. That's redemption and its purest form.
Very rarely will I see a film and go. I need a reboot of the reboot.
Fantastic. I was scared of saying Creed only because of everything after Rocky 3.
Not a fan of. And I watched them just because I was like 24. I watched them just Rocky 5 was
terrible. Rocky Balboa was decent. Rocky Balboa wasn't bad.
But it was still better than fine. Let me put it to you this way. Creed does
Brother Rocky series what man of steel did to the Superman series. What Batman begins did to the
Batman series series. Okay. Moving your releases in places that should get moving your releases this week.
A movie called Anastasia written and directed by Tim Blake Nelson. Stars.
Glenn Close is in this. Natasha Gregson Wagner is in this. It's an ensemble piece
how multiple lives intersect in the aftermath of the violent mugging of a Columbia University
philosophy professor. Geez. That's still good film of the year. It looks interesting.
You know that's only only put the movie. I don't put every movie on this list. Only the ones that
let me go. This might be fun. Also a movie called Diablo not based on the video game.
A young civil war veteran is forced on a desperate journey to save his kidnapped wife.
Scott Eastwood is in this. See what you did there. You're very welcome internet.
Camilla Bell is in this Danny Glover. Don't put a bitch fucking him out.
He is in this. And one of my favorite actors who is in the hateful eight Walton Goggons is in this thing.
This is almost a guaranteed must watch then. So I'm very very interested in this.
Oh, it's fork in here. You're hot. You know, you can't remember Danny Glover without it.
Also a movie called The Mask St. This is kind of a pseudo-faith-based film.
Not a lot of people you would know in this, but I've seen this trailer everywhere. It's based on the
true story about a pastor's mission to help his community by risking his identity and returns to his
former life as a wrestler. Oh, not your loop. I don't know if it's not not your loop right.
I don't know if it's lucha though. I mean, it sounds kind of like the warrior because wooden
Joel Ederton's character like a school teacher and he was trying to earn money so he didn't lose
a salary and wrestling on the other side. No, I'm thinking warrior.
Joel Ederton and Tom Hardy. Yeah, that's but here comes the boom was that was the reason he got into MMA.
Yeah, but that was a joke. Diane Carol was in this and there's a man in this film
who likes to tell you that just when you think you have the answers, he changed the questions.
Really, Roddy's in this, which there's somebody in this studio that has a personal connection
to Roddy Piper and I don't want to mention any names, but his initials are Gary Rackley.
That is a true story. And my line. It's a very true story.
You have my attention. You used to, uh, he lived in my neighborhood. Really. Yeah, and I, you know,
live in Charlotte and he lived in my neighborhood and I used to go play with his dogs in the backyard,
his Dalmatians almost every day because it was Roddy Piper. Yeah, I think I lose my mind.
And two blocks over was the chief. Really. Wahoo, Daniels. You heard me.
Yeah, you know how big of a fan of the chief I am. Yes, I do. Also releasing this week a movie
called Lamb. When a man needs a young girl in the parking lot, he attempts to help her to avoid
a bleak destiny by initiating her into the beauty of the outside world. The journey shakes
them in ways neither expects. This has Ross Partridge, Una Lawrence, Scoot McNary, who from
a Halting Catch Fire and Argo, Joel Murray is in this thing. It looks kind of dark.
Don't say it. That the feel good movie of the year.
DVD and blue right new releases in places you get DVD and blue right new releases this week.
Secario. The big, uh, Benicio del Toro thing about the War on drugs on both sides of the
border, Texas and Mexico. I am intrigued. Uh, scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse is already out on DVD and blue
right? Really. Oh, that was nice. Yeah. Uh, the visit.
Let's, why do I remember that? Oh, that isn't the visit. Isn't that that Shyamalan thing? Yes.
Or the kids go into our grandparents. Yeah. I'm out. I'm out on that.
Classic film Lady Snow Blood gets the criterion collection. A movie that Shads very interested in.
The Green and Furno gets DVD and blue right this week. Really. Okay. Eli Ross latest.
The one that had people walking out because it's freaked about running out going to the
running to the bathroom before they put on the carpet. It's Eli Ross. Yeah.
Also the walk with Joseph Gordon Levitt. You haven't seen it. It's an excellent film as well.
I believe that is special edition number. I'm looking for it now.
Is it in the 150s? We did it in the summertime. Wow. I don't know. It was 140. We did it in November.
That was November. Yeah. But that was in the summertime. No, it was early. No.
Okay. I can give you the date. No. I'm sorry. It was October 1st. Okay.
Apparently I need to lay off the drug. I'm telling you that for years. I know. I know.
Joe Dirk II. Beautiful loser. I know you've been waiting for a director's comment.
Commentary track for that. So it's been a long time. Very wrong. And the Mark Ruffalo's film
infinitely polar bear. It's about a man who has bipolar syndrome and how he deals with his children.
So I believe that's how his children refer to his condition that he's polar bear. Okay. Very dark.
Wow. Very very dark film. Wow. Mark, did you do a little bit of light heart of a kid?
Can you go back to your 13 going on 30 days, maybe? Hey, geez. He was amazing in spotlight.
He was, but my gosh. He's just immersing himself in these really any tech corner stuff.
I've got nothing. I was, I do want to give another shout out if you're in the DFW area too. Friends
of the show free play up in Richardson. Beltline just west of Plano Road. It is everything that I
need from my childhood and so much more for those of you that don't know what free play is.
It is a place where you can pay this a $10 cover to get in and they have over 80 old school
stand up arcade games and pinball machines. And it's everything because of the name,
everything's on free play. So it's 10 bucks play all you want. I need this in my life. We tried to go
one New Year's night and they were closed. I'm going to take them out there. Jen and I went last night
with friend of the show, John Houser and they were very busy, which is a great sign that
should never close. It is amazing. My arms were hurting from all the video games. I was playing
especially the shooting games where I was holding my arm up for like 10 minutes at a time. They got
zax on in. Oh my, very excited about that. I played Tempest last night.
Doc and I played some area 51. We played the black night pinball game. We got to play some
gyros last night. Did they have Gorgar? I've not seen Gorgar yet, but they said that they're going
to be rotating games in a monthly basis. Oh wow. We played the tabletop game for Donkey Kong Jr.
They have the tabletop version of Phoenix. I don't know. I can't remember the last time I played
these stand-up versions. The same like I was always playing the cocktail table. It is they have
like five cocktail table games over there. They have cocktail table version of asteroids.
I don't know. They did it cocktail table. They did it. I thought it was only Gallagher Batman.
Yeah, but they also have a fully functioning bar. You can buy a 40 of cult 45 if you choose to
do so. Those are available. In case Billy Williams walks in and wants to throw down. They do
they do serve PBR and the tall boys. But they have a lot of local craft beers as well.
You've got loads of out there so you can get Cody out there.
Ran into friend of the show, Danny Gallagher, who is one of the writers on the great game
that we played on my birthday this year. Oh, he flashed. Oh, really?
Ran into Danny last night. He's actually writing an article on the place for one of the
websites. He works for us to look for that very soon. I'm going to do stand-up like three different
families over the court. Good flashes. A lot of fun. Oh my god. So shout out to free play guys.
Go support this place. It is wonderful. It is the only thing it's missing. It's a roller rink.
I'm not kidding you. And a concession saying that sells really bad pizza. I like outside of that
now is about to say. That's the only thing they're missing. If it's a smell of
weakle pepperoni's not in the air, then they're definitely selling their sewing t-shirts now.
Twenty five dollars for a t-shirt that they're selling. So go check them out. It's a lot of fun.
And if you're worried about kids, if you're under 18, you're out of there at nine o'clock.
And last night they were open to midnight. So we had a lot of fun out there.
All right. The street light is on. So let's get to the list.
We had every show with a list.
A little bit different today. As many of you know, Don and Chad and myself are members.
Something called the North Texas Film Critics Association.
Makes us sound official. And every year, the North Texas Film Critics Association hands out
their awards like their version of the Oscars. So what they do is they send us an email and we have to
fill out this email and they tally up all the votes. And we have the winners.
Winners were published or sent out today. So I thought we'd take some time and share that with our
listeners. What do you think? Okay. I'm good with that. Let's, we're going to start at the bottom
and work our way up. Because they even asked us for our least favorite films of the year.
But I don't know that they put it on there. Did they? Nope. They did not.
They asked for it. So winning for best foreign language film was a film that Don saw called
Son of Sol comes out later this month. But it was got a limited release. So we call it five
or 2015. Best documentary film. Not one of Don's favorite films of the year. Amy. Really. Yes.
I'm sure that sits well with him. Best animated film. And rightfully dog-on-so.
Pacing was not animated. They found the real bear that can talk. Okay. Inside out. Good. Best animated
film of the year. Best cinematography goes to Emmanuel Lubesky for the Revenant. That doesn't shock me.
Best supporting actress to the shock of no one Jennifer Jason Lee for the hate flight.
She has already saying that basically Quentin has pulled a genre of alto with her. He has
revitalized her career. Best supporting actor. Congratulations to Netflix.
Idris Elba. Beast of No Nation. But for him. Best actress another one of Don's favorite films of the year
Bree Larson for Room. Best actor goes to Leonardo DiCaprio for the Revenant. Could this be his
year sir? A lot of people are saying that this is not to be to dead horse but only if Steve Harvey
is hosting the Oscars. Wow. That is getting old. But that one makes me laugh.
That's director Ridley Scott for the Martian. A wonderful, wonderful, wonderful movie.
I truly enjoyed this film. Which is odd because the North Texas Film Critics Association
elected the Martian as best picture of the year. There you go.
So I mean it wasn't my favorite film of the year but it is very very enjoyable. It was one of our
favorite films here but yeah it was on our list. By the way check out our last episode episode six
six twenty one or two a thousand fifteen year and wrap up. Got some really good feedback on that
episode from some friends at the show. Oh we did. I did personally people were saying the messages.
Oh so. I know what's sitting up in the mean. It's because they don't like you. I can't.
That's. Thanks a lot. You know what? I wouldn't have I ever sugarcoded anything for you sir.
They just like it. It's not that they don't like you. They just like me more.
So how do I do this again? So that is from a North Texas Film Critics Association
whom we are proud members of and voting members of if you will.
But if you want to know what we thought about our least favorite films of the year that is in our
2015 year and wrap up as well. A very interesting episode that one.
There was a very polarizing opinions in that episode. Yeah I had to go home and do a little drink
and after that. Anything else you want to answer? Actually I have to admit that I had to go
home and do a lot of drinking. Okay fair enough. All right so we ready to do the plugs?
Let's think our wonderful guests again. But we're going to get to that.
Because that's part of the plot. Wow I just I'm a few never done this one. No I'm just saying one thing
needs to be explained. I never met these castable. That is the first time that you've met
you've met the Modry. Yes. But I think outside of the Modry. Well you met you met the
grandparents at the wedding who are no longer with this cover. So that was because that was just yesterday.
But but you did meet them. Yeah I'm just inspired. But Susan is the only one of my cousins you've
ever met. Because the last time I saw your sister to tell you how long ago this was.
Last time she was in this area and I saw her. She was flying through Dallas for
Earth and we were able to go see her at the airport. That tells you how long I don't remember.
But but Jen remembers like she was like yeah no we met her at the airport. I'm gonna tell you
how long ago that was. Can't even do that anymore. Oh that's right. Yeah I went to Alaska.
She might have been or coming from there to somewhere else maybe. So and then there I have two
other cousins that I don't know that you'll ever have in our fairburg. But you never know.
Your powers of persuasion have been known to move a couple. I know a guy who knows a guy.
But look how many of your old classmates have now live in our fairburg. That is true. I have quite a few
of my classmates that live in this fairburg. So your influence is a lot more powerful than I think you
give. And the really cool part is once we get off the air and I get everything off loaded
we have more adventures to go on. This is true. See you guys know where we're going. But you don't
know where we're going. Shad and Andrew know where we're going. So because we can't not do that.
That's all I'm saying. We can't not. You don't know what I mean? I am so happy that you guys came to
town and I'm so happy that you got to be here on the show because you know people there's no
secret. Like I am El Lobo Solo when it comes to my family. Like my mom's in Idaho,
Susan and her family are in North Carolina. And then the rest of them are either in Tampa or Miami.
So it's just to have family come to town. It means a lot to me. And it means a lot to me to get to meet these
people. To people that I tell stories about. Yes. Allegedly. They better be good. They were all good.
I swear to God. As far as you know, they were the most wonderful stories you've ever heard of.
I mean I grew up here. My family lives here. They've always lived here. And I know that he's kind of like
like he says he's an island unto himself. And when you're with him on level. Yeah. So whenever
you know loved ones and dear ones come to town, I'm always glad to meet them and I'm glad to
make you guys. So thanks so much for being here. I apologize. And it's it's always fun. It really,
really truly is. And I get a four day reprieve. And then other families come into town because
we are six days away people. Oh, that's true. In six days. It all happens. If you don't have your tickets
for battle, the band's finals yet. It's my show. I'm allowed to plug my own stuff. Grace descending
this coming Saturday night involved in battle, the band's finals for the Dallas area.
Tickets are $10 in advance. Hot latch a boy. Because the more tickets we sell, the deeper into
the night we play. And that's what we want because the judging at the end is based on audience
response. And I will tell you. And I don't say this much. I'm glad Gary's band is not competing against
this. Because we haven't even mentioned because Gary's in a band, too. We haven't mentioned that.
He's got a metal podcast, but part of the reason he's got a metal podcast isn't a metal band.
Yeah, I like to pretend. I always tell people, I do a little singing. That's all I do. You know,
but this is a guy who's been a drummer for most of his life. Found out drumman's probably
not good for ourselves. He's like, I'll just play guitar. Why not? Because that's a logical progression.
No, that's old age that calls that shot up you. You're not helping. Wow. Kill vision.
Black ritual. Back ritual. Who's kill vision? That was my previous. Okay, I knew there was
something a black ritual. Facebook pages out there. Yes. Make sure you're a member website.
It is under construction, but black ritual calm. It should be up and as soon as I get home,
basically Twitter. Yes, just a black ritual. Instagram. Black ritual. Make sure you're following
these guys. Especially if you're a fan of metal. If you're into like Italian opera,
maybe not your style. But I was expecting Andrea, but she'll be on this page, darn it. He's
feet. It's a sample. You'll never even understand. But no, they do some good work. So check out
black ritual and upcoming shows. Because we got people over the list of this thing.
Uh, no, we actually since I moved from drums to guitar, we have our new drummer. We did a hurry
up and made him learn five songs. We shoved five songs down his throat and said, hey, you have three
weeks to learn this because we're opening for Exodus. And how about that, sir? And so after that,
we said, all right, now we have their shows. We're going to take our time. We're going to get you set
in right. We're going to write some more material and we're going to come out strong. So check out
black ritual. We'll be playing Saturday night at the Curtin Club in Dallas. So how about me if you want
tickets? Anything else we want to gratuitously plug before we get to the plugs? I think we're good.
I want to listen to this for one minute and 15 seconds right here.
Remember this? I'm going to give it to you. This is the all-general cinemas that's all
go to the lobby and get something to eat. Oh, nice. It's the candy band.
