It is season 5 episode 21 chronologically number 280 as the march towards 300 rolls on.
The clubhouse is live and on the air.
We want to welcome each and every one of you individually no matter how you listen.
Whether you're live right here on Ustream, whether you're listening on our archive, or maybe
just maybe you subscribe on iTunes.
We're cool with that too.
My name is Robin.
It's winter, right?
Like today's the first to have winter.
Just gonna send a telegraph to the people upstairs.
Let's get some later weather in here, people.
A chat is out of pocket tonight celebrating Christmas tonight with his dad out there and
me.
He'd be great to do sacksy.
So we're hoping maybe he'll check in a little bit later.
But I am not alone for this episode.
We've got a couple of special guests first joining me in the chat chair is the official
fact checker of this show and a man who was making my football fandom in the minority
in this studio tonight.
You may know him is fond on go but his mom and name him Don Ford, I'm going to call him
Don Ford.
Welcome Sarah.
Until after the New Year's, I'm fond Donner Go.
Oh yeah, that's right.
We did Donner Go.
If you subscribe on iTunes, you know where that goes.
But if you don't, I'm not telling you.
Also joining us this evening.
Kind of called the, called the audible a little bit, had to call in the lefty, had to go
to the bullpan, got to, I got a text message earlier today.
That red.
Hey man, you got room tonight and I said for you, always.
So joining us on tonight's show, it's been a very, very long time since this man has
joined us.
He has known his barbed wire.
Welcome to the show, sir.
Man, Christmas, guys.
Merry Christmas to you.
It's good to have you back, man.
Now that you're working normal people hours and all that good stuff.
I'm not been in the studio with him since the app episode.
We didn't did the meltdown on the end.
Oh wow, that was the meltdown was, I've got to hear hold on, we go back into the episode
season four episode nine.
Yeah, I mean him.
That was recorded the 8th September of 2013.
Which we will never forget.
Yeah.
And it happened again a couple of weeks ago.
I really think somebody's listening to the show, it doesn't just to annoy me.
Let's get this thing moving, gentlemen, let's start with corrections.
Want to thank our undisclosed location hosts for helping us out last week for TLCS, how
to great time as we always do in the school of location.
Yes.
In the, in the birthday gift, thank you.
Yes.
Which I'm wearing today.
Right.
Next week we'll do our gift exchange.
Totally.
I'm hoping your gift will be here if it's not.
I intended to tell you what it is next week.
I'm sure, because you give me that 50th episode, 50 years of WWE.
Yeah, yeah, you tell me it's an MLL.
Yeah, that's this year.
You're not even going to see this.
More blyer knows what it is.
You're not even going to see this.
Okay.
All I'm saying.
All I'm telling.
Okay.
But other than that, the show was clean last week.
I didn't hear anything that that I saw as bad.
We didn't know they're certain.
I'm going to give you the little one up front.
Oh, I thought you said that was your list for tonight.
It's in here.
So there was a room in volume.
Yes, exactly.
Okay.
Behind you, we're missing a spot.
We, we, we, we, we, we.
Well, I don't know that the wall of fame is filling up.
Well, we, we.
Remember that night in the ski.
They had that big show.
Yeah.
It was that November 1st of a long taken.
Well, that same night in P.X.
He had Yoshi taught suit in town.
Really?
Yeah.
Currently injured by AJ style.
Yes.
Exactly.
Which I was going to bring up.
Do I have a Yoshi's hot suit autograph?
It's in Japanese.
Does this say the clubhouse rocks in Japanese?
What the top row says wrestling logic in Japanese?
The bottom one is awesome.
He signed it in Japanese too.
That is awesome.
That's going on the wall of fame along with,
he was called London and Colt Cabana and Tim Taylor, not, not, not from home improvement.
That's Tim Allen.
This is actually a guy named Tim Taylor who was in the 100 games.
And of course, the Bertie Palmer.
But you're, you're big ones next week.
But okay.
I'd saw him that night and I said, I haven't eaten anymore.
He didn't Japanese.
That's awesome.
I can't believe there is seriously distracted me.
I don't know.
Why do you think it's behind me if we have a sword?
There's a reason for that.
You brought a package, sir.
Was there something you had from the Empire?
I hate to soliciting things.
But when I'm in walks in the studio with a package,
I have to know as long as it's not ticking.
I gotta get my phone out.
Okay.
Oh, you have to take a picture of this.
Okay.
I'm going to put it on fair enough.
But your big one is next week.
All right.
And like I said, I'm tempted to tell you next week
if it's not here, set your call.
But it's, I will say, your gift this year is,
and back me up on this.
Sure and utter genius.
Yeah.
Sure and utter genius.
Okay.
This occurred not like a very nice, oh no.
Very nicely wrapped.
It looks like what used to be a band Dana.
Yeah.
And Chris and straw.
Much love to your lovely lady friend.
Who are, we are big fans of you and your lady friend.
I'm almost afraid to open this because it's filled with it.
All right.
We have a non-descript box here.
Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick.
Easy.
Easy.
We have a non-descript box from a hormel foods,
which I'm assuming is what's in here.
Does not match with on the box.
You like baking, right?
Oh, I'm a huge fan of baking.
Okay.
I'm not a communist.
Okay.
It looks like, are you kidding me?
Are you absolutely kidding me?
No, not.
The box is going to be the way to dinosaur.
Holy baby Jesus.
Is this what, is this real?
That's a certificate of often.
Yeah.
Yeah.
These are stings, trunks.
Autographed by sting.
Bang.
With a certificate of awe.
I don't, I'm afraid to put this on the wall.
Like, get a mannequin and put your belt around it.
Dude, look at that.
Those are, these are actually stings, trunks that are autographed
on the right leg.
There's an authenticity hologram sticker too.
Down by the foot.
Yeah, there it is.
Did you wear that in the ring or is it not on the wall?
Okay, so.
I don't care.
There are stings, trunks, and they're autographed by sting.
Like, that's, I will guarantee you, I will never wear this.
Dude, why, I won't fit.
Well, there's no mediums.
Yeah, they are my point for my, I wanted to.
That is, I, wow.
When my wife gets home, she's going to be really mad
because she's going to have to go, God, I have to top that.
Are you kidding me?
Hey, dude.
The empire stretches long and far.
Well, somebody, Mikey's here in the green
with somebody, let him out, please,
because he's locked the door behind him.
I am, I am, I don't get speechless on this show very often.
But that is insane.
Like, this is also the man that I actually,
in my closet in the other room, I still have my signed
edge shirt, which has never been worn.
It's hung up in the closet.
This is insane, dude, thank you.
You're welcome.
I am, I am an absolute, oh, I'm afraid, I'm not
afraid, I just put it anywhere, like, holy crap.
So, I mean, are these his?
Are you, are we?
I think they're, they're made in the same fashion.
I'll take it, I don't care, I'm good with it.
But they're, they're not ring worn.
I don't care, it is.
I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm taking that as the answer.
Oh, dude, I, I seriously don't know what to say right now.
That is, that is amazing.
And I may like have to make it into a flag next year
or year after when he goes in the Hall of Fame
because, yeah, wow.
Wow, man, I think my wife's going to be mad.
It's really funny.
Honey, honey, wow, I just, okay, we have to do a show now.
Um, I'm taking her minds off that.
It's going to stay right there the whole time.
It's not going anywhere.
It's, I'm going to put Yoshi tootsu right with it.
That's like it, one, two punch right there.
Yeah.
And Brittany Palmer behind you.
Yes.
This is America.
America.
This is America.
And Yoshi, if you don't want to take him to,
try to give him the sign, that can't speak English
worth the, dang.
Okay, not.
Yeah, but yeah.
Wow.
Okay, I got, I got, I got it.
But he was very cool.
He was very cool.
So Wow, that's, wow.
I think we just found the name of this episode.
Thank you for the gift bar.
The gift bar has been raised.
Wow.
I wasn't, I wasn't around to see your reaction, when he showed up
in the ring.
Oh, yeah, it was.
He stood up.
I won't tell you exactly what happened.
They hit the music.
I got a mistake.
I got a mistake.
And it was, it was like, it was music.
I didn't know.
Everybody shot up.
I was on my feet.
My eyes were focused that like, you could have dropped a bomb
and my kitchen wouldn't have mattered.
I was locked into that television.
And now we may not see into the rumble.
What's I'm cool with?
And we're gonna talk about him a little bit later
in wrestling talk because something's come down
and it's a little weird for me.
In WWE when it comes to sting.
But when he, when he talking about his name.
Yes.
Yeah.
Hold on to it.
Hold on to it.
Come up.
He always says, I'm gonna pee my pants.
I go rob your butt.
I'm staying away from you.
Cause it's already ordered at the bathroom.
I'm good.
Yeah, I was.
All right.
Let's talk some TV talk.
Cause we don't have NASCAR right now.
Okay.
Except for the fact that they learn hard junior may have
the most wheels off Christmas sweater and bar.
As bar buyer showed me in pre-show in the green room.
Okay.
So.
Bring it back.
Bring it back.
Okay.
We're good.
Um.
I, wow.
I, wow.
Before we get it, let me start TV talk.
Sons of anarchy ended and they did it right.
Okay.
Yeah.
My wife said the same thing.
She still has it on the DVR.
She's like, I can't bring myself to delete it.
Yeah.
They ended it right.
And the newsroom is the same way.
I watched the finale of the newsroom today.
I was going to say this to Aaron Sworkin.
Damn you for the fields.
Okay.
That, that, that last episode of the newsroom hit me clean
where I lived.
Like I was weepy.
But that's Aaron Sworkin.
If you haven't watched the newsroom, do yourself a solid.
And amazing.
It's only three, it's only three seasons.
And the last one was only one.
Seven episodes.
Something like that.
Yeah.
Six, seven episodes.
Yeah.
But such an amazing show.
Right.
Into that show.
There.
And that was, I was mad at him.
The episode before.
But that was my own film.
Okay.
So David S. Goyer.
Who we all know as the man who wrote the Dark Knight trilogy.
Basically.
You could almost call it a preschool.
Called Krypton.
Which basically is going to take place on Krypton before Calel is born.
And all that good stuff.
I don't know if I need to go back that far.
Yeah.
But it's Goyer.
And this is also the same guy that's producing and wrote the first episode of Gotham.
So I can't.
Because, you know, him and no one get a pass with me.
Because of the Dark Knight trilogy.
I mean, he gets a pass.
I mean, I'll check it out.
But also not being a.
Not being a Superman guy as much as I am a Batman guy.
That's also kind of how Chad was be here because I would like to get his opinion on it.
But we'll see how that works out.
Also, NBC, have you watching Constantine Barbar?
I don't know.
It's really good.
I've really been impressed with that show.
Yes.
I watched two and I cut it.
Really?
Yeah.
I think it's really.
Because everything that we're going to kind of end it possibly.
So that's what I said.
Well, no, they've announced that they're moving it to a different time slot.
It'll still be on Fridays.
But they've gone from the ten Eastern slot to the eight Eastern slot.
So it's going to lead off their Friday night programming.
But, so they're going to be going head to head with SmackDown.
No, no, no.
Not for much longer.
W going head.
W almost nope.
That'll be moving on before impact.
Because we're going to talk about that later on, too.
Well, actually, we talked about it last week.
How impact is going to be on Friday nights at nine Eastern.
But that's the flagship show on destination America.
But they give him the death slot.
But, no, I really dug Constantine.
It's kind of like everything that the movie did wrong.
They're doing right.
See, that's, I think that's what's kept me.
No, I was intrigued.
Well, it's all still.
But then I was like.
But it's also NBC doing comic properties, which is always a dicey proposition.
This is really good.
I am really enjoying this.
I really, really am.
And they just went on their winter break.
And the winter finale was, I was like, oh, this will be interesting.
So I was intrigued.
Check it out.
It's not bad.
Okay.
Okay.
And then, given another shot, because it's going to take a couple of episodes.
Kind of gets feet under it.
But I really like where it's going.
Okay.
Because it's just simple.
I saw like the first two.
Well, the pilot, the girl, but then the pilot, she's done.
You'll never see her.
Okay.
Okay.
Well, I'll make it the all start constantly.
If you want to start something.
I'm telling you, it's on my list as soon as I get my DVR caught up.
Because you know how many series programs I have left on my DVR?
How many?
Four.
Okay.
I've got two episodes of the soup.
And the last two episodes of SNL.
And then I can start getting rid of movies.
But now my wife has like 48 episodes of criminal minds on the DVR.
She's decided she's now into criminal minds.
So she has to watch every episode they've ever done.
But what she's doing is she's watching them whenever they air.
So they're all out of order.
Oh, no.
And so she's like, oh, so that's why this is.
I'm like, honey, I have no idea what you're talking about.
You can go to Netflix and probably watch it all in order.
Yeah.
You know, such as the mystery that is my wife.
But you know, she is a lovely talented.
Speaking of Netflix and in order, I started watching the.
The history of Undertaker on there.
Oh, yeah, the the street.
No, it's just called the history of the Undertaker.
Oh, random.
I'm surprised with the network that they still have as much of a presence on Netflix as they do.
Because a lot of that stuff you can get on on the network.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Why do you have the Netflix subscription and all that?
Yeah.
Did you go through oranges and new black?
No.
That's in my queue.
The first one's okay.
But the second one was really, really good.
I thought just to heads up.
Yeah.
I'm glad I got things about it.
Yeah.
And also house a card.
Kevin Space.
Really good.
Yeah.
The only TV that I watched like.
That is a weekly show is.
Part down south and redneck.
Well, those are seasons.
You're not watching slednecks.
Well, what have you heard of this?
No.
It's a rednecks in Alaska.
Oh.
It's called slednecks.
Because this is what MTV has come to.
Yeah.
If they're going to be doing their own dramatic series called the.
Something.
We're finally going off the air.
It's a series now.
What happened to music?
I know.
Of Coca-Cola.
Ending its sponsorship with American Idol after 13 years.
It took him that long to smarten up.
Ford's going to stay on.
But Coca-Cola has ended their sponsorship of American Idol.
Can't play him.
Can't.
American Idol.
Just go away.
Please.
Get to what I've been saying for four years.
I stopped when Scottie McCreary won.
I was done.
Yeah.
Because I was like this thing's rigged.
That's why this kid wins.
Jen's really been into the voice.
The problem with the voice is they've got to have somebody on that show that can do something.
They haven't had that breakout star yet.
Where has.
I'd say something that really kind of freaked me out.
It's last week.
I was looking at album new releases.
Carrie Underwood is releasing her greatest hits in the first decade album.
She's been in the game for 10 years.
Sir.
And I heard the new single today.
Something in the water.
I really did get it.
I think it was this week.
That country music.
Kind of awards show.
The countdown.
Something.
Kelly Clarkson was on that.
The problem with the greatest hits is usually when a band or an artist does that.
It's kind of their death now their career.
Not our.
I'm just saying usually.
You look there for you exception.
But you think about when they put out that greatest hits.
It means they've already peaked and they're on that slope.
Not her.
She's still going strong.
But you really look at it.
And all those other greatest hits.
And we'll talk more about this in the music talk.
But also.
I don't know if you guys have heard about this.
You know how FX has the American Horror Story.
They're now doing a new series called The American Crime Story.
And season one is going to be the story of O.J.
Really.
Yes.
Cuba Gooding Jr is playing O.J.
How are they going to spin it?
I don't know.
It's based on a book though.
There is a book that the series is going to start.
Next fall.
Okay.
Cuba Gooding Jr is going to play O.J.
Sarah Paulson.
You've seen her in some stuff.
She's playing Marsha Clark.
David Schwimmer is going to play Robert Kardashian.
Which this ought to be real.
Why is Robert Kardashian?
He was one of the lawyers.
One of the lawyers.
No, that's how Chris became famous.
Because she was married to him.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay, Robert.
Yeah.
Those three are his kids.
Oh, God.
Well, the court.
Chloe's not.
Okay.
But Courtney and Kim are his.
Okay.
But yeah.
David Schwimmer.
Cuba Gooding is O.J.
I couldn't kind of see that.
But remember.
I think it's that old owner of the Clippers and playmark for him.
Show me the Marco!
Not as good as the old joke of them doing this.
The old joke of them doing the O.J. story in John L. way playing this lowlight Broncos.
Still minding my favorite jokes.
But Michael, Michael Pitt is leaving Hannibal.
He'll be replaced by Joe Anderson.
Have not watched that show.
But I've heard really good things.
I'm on the edge on it.
That's not the one that it looked good when I first saw it.
Yeah.
But it's got two.
I started recording it.
And I just never got around to see it.
We're kind of really weird kind of funky out of line kind of dragging.
Show that's really gaining some steam right now.
Once upon a time.
They've incorporated frozen into it because God knows.
Disney can't make enough money off of it.
But Ernie Hudson is going to play Poseidon.
Because I guess we're working the little mermaid into this thing too.
Let's get a mermaid.
And they're saying.
I like Ernie Hudson.
You know, one of my favorite films all the time is Ghostbusters.
And he gets to pass with me.
Although his stint on comic bookman was a little weird for me.
But so fans of once upon a time.
You're going to get that coming at you.
Anything any TV you guys want to talk about for me move on?
No.
Not really.
I think just the sun's in it.
It's great.
You are listening to the clubhouse live every Sunday night.
70's from for Pacific.
If you miss any section of the show.
It'll be available on archive for 30 days.
As long as you stream holds it.
Or just subscribe on iTunes.
Because I know barbed wire does.
That way he can listen.
He's working.
I do the same thing.
Especially this weekend.
You're going to have five shows to listen to.
Because our iTunes exclusives went nuts on Friday.
So did.
So make sure you go check those out.
Because again, if you subscribe on iTunes,
you get a lot of stuff that the normal people don't get.
Yeah.
That's because we want you to subscribe on iTunes.
It's a marketing pool.
All right.
Boys.
Let's talk about.
Let's talk some NFL.
Come on.
You can do it.
What?
And insane.
Crazy week 16 in the NFL.
It was so crazy.
I'm not even ready to talk about it.
But me and wires are both smiling right now.
Oh, yeah.
Yes.
We are.
Yeah.
I mean, a lot of the playoff picture has been.
Determined at this point.
Well, our Steelers.
It comes down the next week.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Exactly.
You're in the playoffs.
You just.
You don't.
You can't really say what your seed's going to be just yet.
Whether we went as if it's coming down the next week.
Yeah.
We're going to get you the scoreboard here in just a moment.
I was not prepared.
Uh-oh.
Yeah.
Used to that though.
First off Pittsburgh beat.
Kansas City.
All right.
Let's go back to 12.
Let's go back.
Thursday night.
Okay.
And a game that I can't think of anybody who watched Tennessee loses the Jacksonville
21 to 13.
Here's a little stat for you.
Not that I pay attention to such things.
But this was the first time in 42 games that Jacksonville was favored.
That is a true story.
That is a true story.
That is a true story.
It's right on the ESPN and part four.
Something like that.
The Thursday night on the NFL network.
Yeah.
We had two games yesterday in a double header.
And a huge shock.
The Washington football team best the Philadelphia Eagles by a field goal.
Keeping the NFC East in chaos as it'll do.
And then last night late the San Francisco meltdown continues.
As Philip Rivers in the San Diego Chargers beat San Francisco by a field goal.
Actually, the NFC East is done.
Well, up until it wasn't in South Island until today.
Yeah.
That upset Thursday night through everything into a tizzy until today.
Today, my Miami Dolphins pulled out a win, baby.
With a safety light as they beat the Minnesota Vikings 37 to 35.
And I know it's the Vikings.
But it's a win.
I'm taking it.
It's the Dolphins.
However, my Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
which I don't know the Green Bay covered the spread.
Because Green Bay beats Tampa Bay 20 to 3.
I want to say, I mean, if they beat the spread, it was not by much.
Because I think it was like 14 or 17.
What I mean, they did it when they pushed.
Just finally seeing that the Dallas Calboy game is final,
which was actually final probably in the second quarter.
I think it was the first.
First 42 to seven.
So they didn't get shut out.
And you know, in the opposite,
that's my favorite player in the league.
Kicker Pat McAfee did not get shut out today.
Detroit over Chicago.
The bears continue to melt it down as they advanced Jay Cutler.
20 to 14.
The Saints drop another game in the division
as they hosted Atlanta and Atlanta beats them 30 to 14.
New England.
How is it?
New England comes out last week and beats my Dolphins
like a drum and then goes to New Jersey
and beats the Jets by 1.17 to 16.
The Green Bay with mine was 11.
Oh, okay, so.
Yeah, that was seven.
That was covered.
Your Pittsburgh Steelers.
And I say that you collectively,
because that covers two thirds of this room right now.
20 to 12 over a decent Kansas City team.
I mean, that's a good win.
Which now clinches a playoff birth for you guys.
We just don't know really until next week.
It's going to come down the next week.
Yeah.
Cleveland loses the Carolina,
which helps your cause.
17 to 13.
The Houston Texans beat up on the Baltimore Ravens.
It's 25 to 13 tonight.
Seattle at Arizona.
It's going to depend on which Arizona team shows up.
Really, and then tomorrow night, Denver at Cincinnati,
which like you said in the pre-show dawn,
doesn't affect anything either way,
but I think you'd still rather,
you know, I think you're still a Denver fan tomorrow night.
Yeah, I think Denver's cause they're trying to get that home
field advantage and stuff like that.
In the sense he loses,
it doesn't matter in their position.
You know what I'm saying?
So, I think Denver's going to,
I've put money on Denver.
I won't say this.
I like how the NFL's putting all this division games
that they've last quarter the season.
Well, you know why they did that?
Yeah.
They did that because teams were sitting their starters.
Exactly.
They got the playoffs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Next week, the jets will be at Sunlight Stadium
to play my dolphins.
That's an early game.
Also early New Orleans will be at Tampa Bay.
That's got to be a pickam.
Dallas will be at the Washington football club.
That's an early game as well.
Carolina will be at the Falcons.
Detroit at Green Bay.
That game on paper looks like it would be fun to watch.
Indy will be at Tennessee and I'm feel bad for Tennessee
because I think Indy's going to be a little
a little agitated after that loss today.
San Diego will be at Kansas City.
Chicago will be at Minnesota.
Buffalo at New England, boy.
If you need a map.
Filly will be at the Giants.
So really the Cowboys need to win next Sunday.
They, they, they, they, they, they crunched the division.
It just said, okay, but they still need to win.
Oh, yeah.
You know, say, say, say a couple of games up.
And get a better seat.
Cincinnati will be at your Pittsburgh Steelers at earlier.
Like it.
That is an early game on CBS will be covering that.
Cleveland will be at Baltimore Jacksonville at Houston.
Oakland at Denver.
Your night game next Sunday is Arizona at San Francisco.
And you're.
I know that, but you don't have any night games.
Those are all eight games known as Sunday or Monday night.
Next week.
So you'll have Arizona at San Francisco and St. Louis at Seattle.
It's just hard to believe.
That's already.
But see, that's the brilliance of the NFL season.
Well, you never know that what the NFL did last year.
They put that Sunday night game on when it wasn't scheduled.
And Fox had a tizzy about it.
They didn't flex because they can do.
Yeah, I didn't, but money, they have to have the season done by Sunday.
So everybody knows just in case I'm playoff implications.
That's why there's no money.
And I, but I went down at the NFL says, hey, let's do one last Sunday night game.
It's good.
I don't know what NBC's got program though.
They might have some of their special.
They're special holiday programming.
Yeah.
Because you know, Rudolph celebrated his 50th anniversary this year.
Yeah.
Which I also learned today.
The Rudolph originally was a marketing tool by a Montgomery Ward.
I learned that today.
I'm really.
I learned a lot of stuff.
That's that week's 17.
Yeah.
That's the beauty of football season though.
Every game counts.
And you're blinking it's gone.
Yep.
Oh.
It's going to be a great January.
I'm ready for February.
I'm ready for January 31st.
Oh, yeah.
That too.
All right.
Gentlemen.
Let's move on.
Do little POI.
POI stands for person of interest.
Okay.
They actually have a determined game.
It's a good job for Sunday.
Oh, do they on NBC?
Yeah.
And it does say schedule subject to change on CBS.
Which means we changed channels now.
Because we are getting ready for the night game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
POI's a sense of a person of interest.
It is a section we do on this show where we take a person or an entity.
And we debate their greatness or lack of air of.
And this week.
What I want to talk about is something that's in the headlines.
You can't avoid it.
It's indeed.
It kind of ties in.
I want to talk about hackers this week.
Because as we know, Sony has canceled the release of their movie with Seth
James Franco called the interview, which basically they're a couple of guys that
become spies to go kill Kim Jong-un.
Sony, Sony gets hacked about a month ago.
It starts releasing a lot of personal information and a lot of threats come down.
And movies.
They release movies.
Yes.
If you release this film, it's going to get worse.
And so Sony back down.
And even our president said that was a bad idea.
Yeah.
North Korea now saying they had nothing to do with the hack and they're willing to work.
Yeah.
Keep our politics out of this.
I've never been a fan of hackers.
I've always thought it was a gutless thing.
There are some one organization that I am okay with is anonymous.
Because anonymous uses their hacking to exploit the evil.
Like, I don't know if you saw, but they were able to hack the KKK's Twitter feed a couple of weeks ago.
Really?
Yes, they were.
If you're using your powers for good, I'm okay with it.
But people like people that create computer viruses, that's to me that's a death penalty.
Yeah.
If we find these people that send these emails out that, you know, you're a Nigerian prince,
that's the death penalty.
People give malware.
Yeah.
Anything that you do to harm another person.
That's to me, that's the same as hitting somebody with your car.
I don't, I just don't understand why.
Why?
Just because you can.
Yeah, that's pretty much what the only reason for me is because they can.
That's just ridiculous.
They don't have morals.
And in the end, like the Nigerian, you know why they do those scams?
Because people buy it.
And people, yeah.
Okay, sure.
I mean, about three or four years ago, my Facebook got hacked and it sent an email
to everybody saying that I was that hack of I'm trapped in London and I need money
and I got robbed.
It took me two weeks before people stopped sending me messages.
You okay?
I mean, I had to put it on my voice mail on my phone.
If you get any email or something for me that says this, I'm fine.
I'm in America.
It's cool.
Wow.
And for those people that don't know, you can actually get put a setting on your Facebook page,
where if somebody tries to access it from a computer that has not access your Facebook page
before, you will get a notification with the IP address and the city it was from.
Oh, really?
The IP address, the city and the platform used.
See, I get to text every time somebody tries to reset my password.
Yeah, same thing, same thing.
And you get the confirmation code.
So, yeah.
It just really annoys me that people would do this to harm other people.
I mean, I understand that people can get desperate, and that's for it.
Times call for desperate measures.
But when you are taking advantage of people, you don't even know.
Right.
In the reason, because they're immune to the law.
Yeah.
I mean, they're in Russia.
We're going to go out.
Well, rest them in Russia.
But it happens here too.
Yeah.
About five or six years ago, my wife was at a bar hanging out, and people came into that bar,
posing as cigarette vendors, where they were doing that dude, deal where they scanned your
lessons, and you got on their mailing list, and they weren't cigarette vendors.
They had our name and our address, and they were writing checks on fake accounts.
So I get this thing in the mail from Safeway saying that we have a bounce check with a Tom
thumb downtown.
I'm like, we don't shop there.
And I saw the check.
And it was by a wife's name, and it was our address, but it wasn't our account number.
And this happened everywhere from downtown Dallas to almost Oklahoma, totaling about 25 grand.
They went to attract your store and spent almost $10,000 on your account.
It wasn't on our account.
But it was my wife's name, and it was our address.
So we had to go get the cops involved, and phones call started coming.
And we were like, look, this is identity theft.
You know, and the fact that they can't tell you the status of the investigation, because
I'm like, give me an hour alone with these people in the room.
I'll take care of it.
Yeah.
Because, you know, you're now infringing on my home.
And that dog don't hunt.
Yeah, I was hacked in 2005 on my tax return.
Yeah.
And that I'd still leave it at that.
You know, this does damage the people's lives.
And I don't care who these Sony hackers are.
Yeah.
Somebody's going to find you.
Right.
Because no matter how smart you are, there's always somebody smarter.
I'm not saying it's me, because I ain't that smart.
But I'm going to tell you something.
You're going to get found.
You're going to trip.
And when you do, I pray that God has mercy on your soul.
Because there's going to be a lot of people coming after you.
Yeah.
Now, I understand the Sony thing from Sony's perspective.
Because I don't want to be the guy that starts a World War III.
Right.
Because that dude's crazy.
Well, there's that dude's crazy.
Did you see the story about the local movie theater that, and, and it's placed,
They're going to show.
Paramount.
Paramount is pulled it.
What?
Because there was a lot of theaters that were going to be showing team America.
And Paramount has pulled it.
Really?
Yeah.
And the problem is, I think they're using the excuse.
Sony that all the major chains are pulled.
So that's why we're doing it.
And to understand why.
But I think these movie companies, these theater chains don't want to get hacked.
Like Sony did because they got there under the carpet.
And Sony just doesn't want more stuff put out.
But what I understand is, this has been a thing since this movie was announced.
But it's not a day.
This movie was announced.
North Korea released a statement saying,
If you do this, it will be, they use the words act of war.
And then the saying,
I don't think there's like seven months ago.
Those companies don't think it's going to be 9-11.
They still want their stuff hacked.
Because they know it can be.
Everybody can be hacked.
Yeah.
And it just, it annoys me to no end.
It should be an international crime.
It should be punishable by the death penalty.
So it's Matthew Broderick, the first hacker.
No, I think he was close.
And he would like to play a game.
Johnny Lee Miller.
And Angelina Jolie.
Yeah.
If you go back and watch that movie, it does not hold up.
Oh, it does not hold up.
Dude, I've got a 56K modem.
It was flying on the internet.
It was cool to time.
That laptop, that was the size of a brick.
That could kill a mortal man.
Oh.
And now he was shot home.
It was the size of a fountain.
It was just a brick.
It built a house on that thing.
But I mean, I don't really want to go too deep in it
because again, we don't really deal with politics a lot on this show.
Which we're proud of exactly.
But I just, I just want to say that I personally
to be shot.
The interview thing I see it from both sides.
I do.
Yeah.
And while I don't know, I can't definitively say,
if I think it was the right move or the wrong move by Sony,
I think they aired on the side of caution.
The only problem that you have is you've now set up precedent
to any wacko that disagrees with a movie you're trying to do.
Well, Sony and Ian's going to make a lot more.
Because they're going to release it in January, February,
which is dead time, which they're thinking it's going to happen.
Not if they still can unless unless they find these hackers
and they cut the head off the beast.
The demands are this doesn't get released.
It doesn't get released on DVD.
It doesn't get released on VOD.
It doesn't get screened out and there's no leaks.
I'm going to go on record saying it's going to get really somehow
when they do they're going to make a bundle money.
Yeah.
Because they would, you know, for them, they're going to think about
driving their own hype right.
Well, yeah.
And when it comes out, everybody's going to want to see it to be
cool patriotic or whatever.
But think about it.
What's opening on Christmas day besides that, that was scheduled.
You got American sniper.
Oh, I'm going to talk about that.
Yeah.
But there's a ton of movies.
There's a ton of movies coming out on Christmas, which everybody's aware of.
And they're going to have so much competition on that day versus
if they don't in January or February, when it's the dead season
of Hollywood, they're going to make a kill.
We'll see.
But you're on record.
And if you're right, I'll admit you're right when you're right.
I don't think anything happens until they find out who these people are.
That's just the way I see it.
All right, gentlemen.
Let's talk.
Still a movie talk.
Because we now officially have your rock and roll Hall of Fame and duck
D's have been officially named.
The short list is out.
Going in this year by himself, we'll be Ringo Star.
Of course, the Beatles went in in the 90s.
Ringo Star goes in by himself.
Also going on going in this year.
So it's something I have by him.
And I'm probably at that time.
Some things come to heat.
Lou Reed.
Possibly.
He goes.
I get it.
Yeah.
I get it.
I'm not a huge Lou Reed fan.
Just like I'm a huge Neil Young fan.
But I get it.
Also this to me, this one's a little premature.
Totally.
Yeah.
On a rainy day.
A little premature for me.
But it qualifies.
It's 20 years after their first single.
That's 10 more years.
Let this thing have a little perspective.
Maybe not even there.
Also going in this year.
And I'm totally on board with this.
Yes.
Crystal Vess.
Also very happy with this.
I'm sure.
Friend of the show.
John jet in the black hearts.
Well, did you watch the foodfighter thing?
No.
She's in it kind of heavy.
Oh.
She's had some work done.
Yeah.
She's had some work done.
Last time I saw anything that had her in it.
She was scary looking.
I'm telling you dude, if you haven't watched that foodfighter series, it's unbelievably
good.
It's stupid.
Really?
Yeah.
Growl.
I saw a buddy of mine that said, I didn't coin this phrase when I'm quoting somebody.
Dave Growl is to rock documentaries as Ken Burns was the baseball.
Dude.
I'm telling you it's that good.
And there's not a bad song on this whole album.
Really?
It's ridiculously good.
You watch one episode.
You're like, yeah.
I'm binging the next eight.
Like it's what's, and I don't know if you know about Sonic Highways.
I've heard about it.
They recorded every song in a different city.
And so every episode he does a documentary about the music history of that city.
Yeah.
And it's the people he gets to interview.
It's.
It's insane.
And then they play it because they write the song in the city.
And so they play the song at the end of the episode.
And they show you the lyrics on the screen.
So you can see how the lyrics of the song tie into the city that they're in.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
It's really neat.
It's.
Oh, it's so good.
And Gary Clark Jr. is in the often episode.
And that just makes me happy.
Also going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
Love this song.
And I could have picked one of his more popular ones.
I said no.
I'm going with this one because this is probably my favorite song of his.
Bill Wither's baby.
He's talking about performing.
He has not done a new album.
This is 1986.
He has not performed live in the better part of two decades.
And he's considering performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I'm a huge Bill Wither's fan.
I can go real good.
Yeah.
This is.
And this is insanely overdue.
I mean, this is the guy that didn't know sunshine.
Yeah.
Lean on me.
Lovely day.
This is way overdue.
Yeah.
So I'm very excited for Bill Wither's.
Also going in the Paul Butterfield Blues Band who are up last year and did not get him.
They get in this year.
The five royals.
I don't know if they're with cheese or not, but they're getting in.
And for the first time that we've seen a fan vote has gotten somebody in.
Finally they did that.
Oh, Russ is in the chat room.
Good to see you, sir.
I can see you this week last week.
I couldn't see Russ in the chat room because I only had one screen to deal with.
And I like those multi-tasking wasn't pretty.
But you want to talk about overdue.
Oh, yeah.
Way overdue.
Not as overdue as rush, but very close.
Yeah.
I'll give you that.
Yeah.
Stevie Ray Bond double trouble.
Well deserved.
Very excited.
I can't wait to see who they get to do their performance.
I would hope Jimmy's involved.
Because Jimmy, Jimmy Bond very underrated as a guitar player.
But I want to see who else they get involved in this deal.
Because you know the line's going to form to the left.
I'm hoping Kenny Wing Shepherd.
I want Joe Bonnamassa.
I want all the big names in this thing.
I want this to be a party.
Sarah Monny will be April 18th in Cleveland.
Here's a trivia question hot shot.
Why is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland?
Ohio?
Because Cleveland rocks.
It does, but why?
Because the rocks hit Cleveland rocks.
Cleveland was the very first on record in history recorded rock and roll concert.
Which held in Cleveland, Ohio.
Oh, really?
That's why it's in Cleveland.
I just always thought that Cleveland was a mistake on the lake.
In some places today.
So I heard this past week we're getting a new punk spoken word album coming out in March.
Wait for it.
From Vincent de Nafrio.
Yes.
You're getting a punk spoken word album from the star of law and order criminal intent
and the guy on the Eggersuit and the first men in black.
I've heard a couple of the tracks do it.
You hear it and you go, that's not right.
Because he has a song where it's like the life of a hamster or something.
It's so weird.
It's cool.
So he has a friend that's in a punk band.
And she got a bunch of random writings that he had done.
And she had him record it and they're putting it to punk music.
So that's coming.
Also Sam Smith, who's very popular with the kids of the clothes and the hair.
He is the first artist of 2014 to sell a million albums in both the US and the UK.
I'm here.
I've heard he's very, very good.
Oh, fact check on the Hall of Fame.
Uh-huh. Who was that concert?
I don't know if he had that.
Alan Fried.
Really?
Yeah.
Because he also termed the rock and roll.
Yeah, he did.
Yeah.
But he is the first concert there.
He also was involved in a pale scandal as time went on.
Alrighty.
I'm just trying to organize here.
I just come to listen to the song.
I just like the song songs.
And in crazy news.
AC DC.
Get ready to embark on their latest tour.
Sells out Wembley Stadium in the less than an hour.
Is that all?
I've seen.
They show.
What's the deal with?
The drummer was.
They're old drummer.
Interstellar.
Interstellar.
Yeah.
There's music in stories about what's going on there.
Did he really hire the hitmen?
Did he not?
I've got to tell you what.
I'd part of that in that Sonic Highway.
They show when the food fighters played in Wembley.
And you see just that sea of people as big as that place.
And there's just Dave growl right in the middle just shredding on his guitar.
It's.
Tell them that out of us in an hour.
You got something going on.
Music new releases this week.
I saw nothing.
I saw nothing for the rest of the year.
Under my normal.
Website that I go to.
Metacritic is usually who I go to when you're using your release.
Figure somebody with.
I guess everybody's come for Chris.
Why this?
Everybody's just unloaded the gun.
I just said go buy our stuff.
I'm just.
I need another metallic album.
We're going to talk about them here in a little while too.
I don't know if you heard what they've got going on here in about four weeks.
No.
Oh, I've scooped you on something metallic as sir.
But it's been what?
Nine years since death magnetic come out.
No.
No.
It was late late odds.
Was it.
Oh, seven away.
Oh, seven away.
So yeah.
But you also had.
Yeah.
You had through the never last year.
Yeah.
Which was pretty awesome.
Got to admit that.
Even though I'm still mad at James.
I feel because he has all of the mics that I want.
But even Christie liked it.
That was really good.
I wish he didn't know what to see in the 3D though, dude.
I did.
And I maxed 3D.
Was it.
Did you?
I thought you couldn't come with us that night.
No, I didn't come with you.
Okay.
So you did see in the eye.
Right.
Okay.
And I was.
I was blown away.
Yeah.
The 3D in the sound was completely worth it.
I mean, especially that opening sequence with Rob in the room.
Yeah.
With all the bass.
On the bass.
On the bass.
I still don't understand how he does not have permanent back damage.
The way he plays the bass guitar.
He's got to have bad knees.
I just.
Watching him hurts me.
Yeah.
Okay.
On Phil right on ACD.
See the drummer.
Uh huh.
He was charged that day when they did the raid.
A possession of meth and get in and.
And possession of pot in the murder charge.
The murder charge has been dropped.
Okay.
But the other charges are still.
Yeah.
That's why he's the fact checker on this show.
He keeps us.
He keeps it honest.
All right, boys.
I don't even know how to start this.
Hmm.
I just don't.
So we had to do an iTunes exclusive for our bullpicks.
Because last week being TLCS.
We didn't get to have the bullpicks live on air.
The bulls have begun.
They began yesterday.
Why?
Why?
Why do I put myself through this every year?
Am I ahead?
Oh, I'm all let you know.
See what I did as I there were.
There were five bulls yesterday.
Wait.
It didn't let the empire know.
I when I did the paste.
Oh, they need to go listen to this.
I do this.
Okay.
Never mind.
If I win, I'm genius.
Yesterday.
Yesterday morning.
We had the R&L.
Carrier's New Orleans bull from the Mercedes-Benz Superdone.
Louisiana Lafayette over Nevada.
So Charlotte gets that one right as does Chad.
In the gilden New Mexico bull, Utah State beats Utah.
So Don and Charlotte got that right.
Notice his name we haven't said yet.
In the Royal Purple Las Vegas bull, Colorado State upsetting Utah.
No, is that right?
No, I'm sorry.
Utah wins that game.
I had that one marked wrong in that column.
So Utah wins.
So Don and Chad got that one right.
Still haven't said somebody else's name.
Let me fix that on my sheet.
I apologize and advance.
I really hate mouse pads on laptops.
Then we went to the famous Idaho potato bull.
Where Air Force beats Western Michigan.
Everybody but Charlotte had that one.
So I finally got a win.
And.
Oh, Stephen's listening.
And he says he really enjoyed through the never as well.
Chad's checked in.
He says that Don, if you win the earth,
will consume itself in a ball of hellfire.
That is a direct quote.
Chad, you missed the beginning of the show.
That's all I'm telling you.
Bowling Green beats South Alabama.
And so that was a clean sweep.
So yesterday, Chad and Don go four for five.
Charlotte goes three for five.
I go two for five.
So early on, but if you go back into the history of this show,
I start slow every year.
I started the bottom every year.
But my plan is working so far.
So far.
But we're only in eighth of the way there.
I don't care.
So working right now.
The bulls will continue tomorrow.
We have one bull tomorrow.
The Miami Beach bull in Marlons park in Miami.
Thought of BYU and Memphis.
And then we have some more bulls coming up Tuesday.
Wednesday.
No bulls on Christmas day.
We have Thursday and Friday.
Because and there won't be one on the Sunday,
because nobody competes with the NFL.
So there's that.
By the way, Chad, it's not Don.
It's fun.
Don or go.
Also, by the way.
And if you didn't, I'll give this to you.
If you haven't listened to the iTunes exclusive.
The National Championship.
All four of us have picked a different team.
So that's going to be really interesting to see how that works out.
I think that's the only game that.
Well, it's the only possibility for none of us to agree.
It would be that game.
But that's going to be interesting.
I'm excited about that.
I think there's one where it's three and one.
I think.
Yeah, I mean, there's quite a few or there was one against the grain.
But a lot of picks Don and Charlotte were writing in the lockstep with each other.
So we're going to see how this works out.
I just love how she picks it.
It just it amazes me that the one guy that does the research does the worst.
Almost every year.
It's.
I'm so glad I'm not a gambler.
Because I'd be living in a box in the side of a freeway.
And it shows my research don't work.
Oh, this year it might.
You never know.
I just.
Oh.
Just.
I don't know.
Just like Chad says, why do you put yourself through this every year?
We do it for the empire kids.
We do it for the empire.
Oh, I had a little scuffle in one of the games today.
Wow.
All right, boys.
Let's go on to do some basketball talk shall we?

Anything you want to plug.
Why?
I'm just bored.
Fair enough.
Charlotte Parker is on Pinterest because we are morally obligated to say that.
And she did give her Christmas presents today.
And Chad and I stumbled on the perfect one of the perfect Christmas presents for Charlotte.
We found her a minion finger puppet.
Now if you want to see what she got me.
It's right behind you.
Up against the closet wall there.
Very much thanks Charlotte for dropping by earlier today and giving me a Christmas present.
It's that little frame thing.
Look at this done.
I just got to figure out where I'm going to put this.
Oh wow.
That's cool.
Yeah.
It's like a Batman banner type thing.
I got to figure out where I'm going to put it.
But yeah.
It's great.
Yeah.
We put it up there above the Brittany Palmer calendar.
I just don't want to put anything above the Brittany Palmer calendar.
I don't know.
Maybe it's a window.
Yeah.
That would be good.
It means I got to turn the ladder.
And Russ is right in Russ 72 on Twitter.
We've got to say that last week.
Alright boys.
Let's talk in BA.
Raise on Rhonda was a maverick.
This would have been great five years ago.
He's shooting.
He's not even shooting 25% from the field.
He's not even shooting 33% from the free throw line.
And now they're saying well now that he's back now in Germano.
Neil Biden might be interested.
Again, five years ago.
Great.
Now not so much.
I will give it to the maverzo.
They're doing the blood drive right now.
They made a thing of blood.
It's got a right with cargo blood care.
They'll give you a thing for a buy one to get one free.
I mean, that's cool.
I respect the maverzo.
You know, it's got to put that shout out to the people out there.
If you don't need blood.
They'll get, you know, look at the map site.
There you go.
Chad says he's now convinced that wire hates him.
Because he only shows up when he's not here.
I don't know.
I'm telling you brother, you need to find a way to call me after the show.
Because if or wait until the show goes off the air and go back and listen to the beginning
of the show on the archive or check your Facebook post.
Are you posting it?
Are the videos up?
Yeah.
Oh dear God.
I'm trying not to look at it.
Let's write there.
Stinnings in the Western Conference in the Northwest Division.
Minnesota at 5 and 20.
Your 15 games below 500, but you're 15 and a half out of
first place.
Utah is a game and a half better than them.
Denver, nine and a half back with their game behind Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City is eight and a half behind Portland.
By the way, Portland's one five straight.
But Portland does this.
They start out strong and as those season.
Get on.
They fade away.
In the Pacific Division, the Lakers are eight and 18.
Wow.
Yeah.
Any team that has a guy that calls himself Swaggy P.
You know I'm already out.
They are three games behind the Sacramento Kings.
Phoenix is two games better than them.
And the clipper is right now.
Four games behind Golden State.
My favorite quarter of the week comes from Steve Kerr, the new coach of the Golden State Warriors
where he's like, I won the NBA lottery.
It's like the easiest job I've ever had.
Sacramento also firing their coach this week.
Which and the players liked this coach.
But this is also the team that the owner wants to run a four-man defense and have the fifth
man hanging back.
So when they get to rebound, they'll dunk.
Isn't that like just having something in the penalty box and skating a man down?
In the Southwest Division.
New Orleans is at 500, but they're nine and a half back.
Tell you how competitive this division is.
San Antonio is three games better than them.
Dallas is three games better than San Antonio.
They're tied with Houston.
But Houston appears to have the tie break right now.
At three and a half back on Memphis.
Memphis who had a great game against San Antonio, the other night.
I don't know if you saw the highlights from that.
Ridiculous.
Double overtime I think it went.
Uh.
Oh and by the way Dallas is the only team in the division on any form of a win streak.
They've won three straight.
Memphis and Houston have lost two straight.
San Antonio has lost four straight in New Orleans.
As only lost their last game they played.
Let's go to the Eastern Conference.
In the Atlantic Division, Philadelphia trying for that first round draft pick.
Two and twenty three right now.
They lost five straight.
As have the nicks.
There's only a half game difference between the nicks and the seventy sixers.
And they give you that perspective.
The Brooklyn Nets are ten and a half back.
They're a half game behind Boston right now.
The Toronto Raptors are running away with this thing.
They've won six straight.
And they're twenty two and six right now.
Really.
Yeah.
The Toronto Raptors.
Let me say it again.
In the central division the Detroit pistons.
The ones mighty Detroit pistons are five and twenty two after losing three straight.
There.
Twelve and a half back.
There are three games back on Indiana.
Indiana is five and a half back on Millawoke.
But right now Cleveland is only a game back on the Chicago Bulls.
Both of those teams have won two straight.
Derek Rose.
Still not playing full time.
And in the only division that matters.
The southeast division.
The Charlotte Hornets eight and nineteen.
Thirty and a half back.
Somewhere Michael's going.
Can I still play?
And they are a game behind the Orlando Magic.
Orlando is three behind my beloved Miami Heat.
But right now it's a dog fight with Washington in Atlanta.
Washington holds a half game lead.
They've won six straight.
So we're about a third of the way through the season.
And I always like to wait until one of the ways into the season for we start talking
and standing is because.
Like especially baseball because they play 90 games a week.
It's like it doesn't.
It's not the same.
But we get America's favorite games show with that though.
America's favorite game show will be coming very very soon.
So get ready for that.
We're not going to do it yet because it's not we're not there.
I don't think it's that bad yet.
But we'll have to see.
Alright boys.
We are your one stop shop for all things sports entertainment.
It's time to combine those two things and talk a little
pro wrestling.
And it's going to be a little bit this week because we didn't have a whole heck of a lot going on.
Especially me TNA.
Especially on the programming front.
I will tell you that much right now.
Ooh, that's not good.
Good thing I only need this for this.
Oh, wow.
That's really not good.
I realized my battery was down to 9% of my line pad.
Creative starting to get a little skitsy about making Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns your main face.
Which is weird.
You know, let's not panic yet.
Let's get him healthy and get him back.
He returned the action this week.
Taking on fondango on super SmackDown live Tuesday.
And we're talking about that here in a minute.
And the young bucks.
If you remember them as generation me in impact.
They've turned down WWE.
Because apparently ROH is doing them so much good.
I did find out that you can watch ROH in Austin.
Okay.
Yeah.
Austin has it.
And you know who does the spokesperson commercial for it?
Jay lethal.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
I wish we had that sinclair broadcasting network here.
Because I really like to watch.
I like to check it out.
It shows like 11 30 and Saturday nights.
I don't care.
I wish you vers would have the right network.
I can watch from Dustill Dawn.
Yeah.
And from Dustill Dawn.
I think that got a second season.
But Elmada door did not.
So there's that.
Rust says it's time for how many points behind the Philly.
Little 50 76ers.
I don't know where they're yet.
But we're getting close.
So.
ROH's going to be here in our fairburg.
January the 19th.
That is the go home show for the rumble, right?
Yes it is.
You want to guess who's not scheduled now for to be on that show?
Now who's not scheduled?
Yeah.
ROH's going to be the defending champion.
You are correct.
Brock Lesnar now not on the lineup for raw.
Jay you were in 19th.
So that's a thing.
But however.
There's three guys that will be on that show.
Hall, Nash, Hogan.
All scheduled for Dallas.
And they are the rumor is they will announce.
AT and T stadium, Arlington, Texas, Russell,
Mania 32 that night.
I believe it.
That is the rumor.
That's all thing.
Same.
But they're still tickets available for 31.
I wouldn't surprise you.
They're going to be crappy seats.
They sort of a lot of tickets for that.
They already.
They're still some tickets.
Normally.
Do you want to sit in the parking lot?
A sucker sells out in minutes.
This is a huge venue though.
Oh yeah.
Levi Stadium is huge.
Imagine 95,000 or 105,000 for me.
It'll be 105.
He went his hero.
Yeah.
Say that much right now.
You can't sell 105,000 tickets.
I'll be managing the house for those tickets.
Yes.
We will.
I wouldn't be surprised if they squeeze in a thousand.
Just in the party pass zone.
Oh yeah.
But no.
There will be tickets to that.
Access Hall of Fame.
I'm doing the whole dog on that.
What do you mean you are?
We are.
We are.
We're going to have a huge huge entourage.
We're about your own.
But I'm going to say this.
Brock Lesnar is defending champion.
It's like me as thin.
Okay.
He is not a defending champion.
He has to not defend it in four months.
I mean, used to you would get.
You would see a US champion on TV.
You don't.
The television chip will be great.
It's the same.
So now.
Let's talk about my leader for a minute.
Like a tar player.
So this is the first song he learned on guitar.
Nice.
At least it wouldn't smoke on the water.
Also by the way, just want to send a quick shout out.
Had a great time.
Kenny and I did an acoustic set last night for a surprise party for a good friend of the
show Mary Harrison and had an absolute blast.
And I want to thank everybody that came out to check for the last Tuesday.
And that came out.
We did a little acoustic set out there in Carrollton, Texas.
I got Kenny to learn some Christmas music, which was great.
He's been fighting me on it for four years.
And he did a great job.
We had a great time.
You might keep an eye on our Facebook page later this week.
I'm hoping to.
We might have a little something up there for you.
But apparently it's now a company wide mandate that we call him the visual
anti-sting.
See, that's just called a sting.
It's sting.
That's all you need.
Why do you have to trick it up?
Yeah.
That's a company mandate.
That's a company mandate.
You can't just call him the visual anti-sting.
What?
That's Vince.
He's got a heavy minute.
He's got a heavy minute.
He's got a heavy minute.
He's got a heavy minute.
I'm not certain.
I just, it's like dude seriously.
It's WWE wrestling.
What?
And by the way, Raw Monday night, following the paper view, worst ratings since October
first, 2012.
They did, they had 3.52 million viewers, which would be a dream for impact.
However, Steve Austin is being very vocal about the programming on Raw.
And I love it.
I love it.
I love how vocal he's being on his podcast.
And I agree with almost everything he's saying.
Yeah.
I mean, what they count four matches last Monday nights.
And the first, what they say in the first two hours?
Yeah.
Four matches.
It was insane.
And how long was, oh, the Adam Rose match.
How long was that?
But the bunny got it.
Oh, I was, I would JB on the bunny.
Right, said it.
It was.
Interesting until the main event.
And even by the time the main event happened,
I was going to have bored out of my skull and fast forward in the rest of it.
I was like, TLC.
Yeah.
I felt bad for Ambrose and Ziggler.
No, Ambrose.
And why it?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Because that's your main event.
Right.
The place was gasped.
And how would how did they end it?
That was a horrible ending.
Yeah.
That was a horrible ending to that match.
But you put Ziggler up first.
And they stole the show.
And I said that on the show, that's going to be the match of the night.
Yeah.
And it was.
And I was like, they hit his music.
That was like, you're doing this.
And then you do see the scene, am I halfway through?
I thought I was just like, I don't think I'm going to say it.
As I was glad that scene, it wasn't the main event for once.
So I mean, I, I see, we are coming from but still.
I would have rather have had Ziggler in the main event.
And as much as I love.
Yeah.
I love the green white and D-Nambrose.
And I think they're amazing.
But the place was gasped.
Yeah.
Nobody cared about the divas match as they normally do.
I don't know.
Let's talk raw real quick.
real quick. So, Kofi's now a slam poet. Did I get that right? He's spittin'
verses now as the kids like to say. Is John Cena backstage going, hey, give me
a infringement. Give me a infringement. No, that's sleeping, let me pop
up. Can the genius. No, he's doing poetry now. It's not, it's not, it's not
some of the, but he's spittin' bars, bro. Again, the nation was too
controversial, but this isn't stereotypical. And then you had the thing where
everybody called in or went to the app and picked a match between, um,
between Hangles, they with me, between Hangman and Jericho, right? Here
were your choices in case you forgot. In extreme rules match, a no-holds
barred match and a street match. Are they all the same thing?
And if I remember, even, uh, uh, King's even to come out. Well, they kind of
are the stimuler, but there's the same match. And Lesnar, worse, were turn
ever, ever. And now Seth Rollins work. Really? Really? But the
bunny got it. Care about the bunny. I do. I can't tell what Sammy's
saying in the bunny suit. I don't care. And Cody Rhodes, no more silver
make up. That was, I didn't like that. Stayes that would say what the gold
make up. Like the green I get it. Yeah, holidays. I go with you. The red,
keep stay away from the silver bro. Seriously, just doesn't work. And I'm
no fashionista, but bro, that wasn't working. I'm just saying. But I do love
the two of them working together. And they are having so much fun. And it's, I
now don't want to see them wrestle each other at WrestleMania, because they're
doing so much great stuff with this gimmick. I mean, Goldess was in, uh, you
know, RIP division of WWE before he was brother now. Yes, he was. A little
bit of TNA headlines. Brook Adams and Robbie E end up placing fourth in the
amazing race, but they made the finale. So congratulations to them. Dixie Carter is
going to be on JR's podcast. January on the January of the 6th. I don't know
what she's going to have to say. Besides, I really know how to spend money. I didn't
say wisely. I just know how to spend money. And my show is now going to be on a
network. Nobody's heard of. Hey, here's a dumpster. Let's put money in there and
set it on fire. That's what I've got for TNA. That's all they deserve. It is
more than it's. We also read this week that, uh, with the whole CM Punk
thing, he was willing to go on the ultimate fighter. Really. He was willing to do it.
And they were like, no, I'll just do this a different way. But if he said, they
he was on board with it, and you have to see was on board. But I, but I think if you
put him in the ultimate fighter, I think it takes away from the ultimate fighter. I
would rather have just come in and fight. Yeah. I'm okay with that. Because they're
going to, they're going to try and push him anyway. Right. Even if he lost out on
the ultimate fighter, he's still going to fight. July, we may have to book that.
Is it a vent? Yeah. Because if it's one thing I know about Phil Brooks, he's
going to do anything halfway. But us, us still look at it is, and will he fight
as CM Punk? Or will he fight as Phil Brooks? I'll tell you, he was on Levitar the
other day. He's wearing suits a lot lately, and I can't get used to that. I cannot
get used to that. It's weird, but he was great on Levitar. He really, really
well, that's still think that Dana White's just trying to get paperview sales. Well,
stop doing 90 a month. Right. See, that's, I've pretty much stopped watching UFC
because it's, yeah, you're, I've bailed on the ultimate fighter just because
it now bores me to tears. Yeah. Um, I didn't know. I also did not know that his wife
is a Puerto Rican descent. I learned that this week. Really? Yes. He told a great
story about Charles Barkley on Levitar. If you can look it up, it is, it is hilarious.
And about the night he met Charles Barkley on the club. Very, very funny. I'm assuming
it wasn't terrible. It was not terrible. No, it might have been terrible for some other
people because they're knuckleheads. Ashley Masaro and Tommy Dreamer now the two latest
names to subscribe to DDP Yoga. I don't know if you know this, but earlier this year,
he actually went on Shark Tank with it, and they turned him down. Yeah, I saw that. Yeah,
they turned him down. Yeah. But you know what? It's working for people. God bless. If I could
afford it, if I could afford it, if I could afford it, I might check it out. And I did,
it's don't cold ever start it. No. Just saying. Over the next 12 days, if you have
the network, there's going to be a lot of attitude era, footage, and documentaries released.
They're calling it the 12 days of attitude. Well, you know, there's a second attitude
era, DVD. Yes, 42. Yeah. I just saw that the other day, we were at the store. But they
just, I want to, I want to, I want to still want to watch that poll name in one. Yeah, I've
heard so many good things. I started to see him punk one. That was really good. My favorite
line, so far, that was when he wrestled out Eddie Guerrero. And he goes, man, I, I, I knew everything
going in. And I wrestled Eddie Guerrero, realized I didn't know everything. I want to say this
about the attitude area. They keep on promoting this stuff, bring it back. You'll get ratings.
If they bring it back, everybody's going to know that there's just trying to rehash something
that's already been done. That's better than what we got right now. Yeah, Chad says he just
watched this video. It doesn't get much more well played than that, sir. And I agree.
I mean, are they happy with 3.5 ratings instead of 8 ratings? Obviously. Yeah. And by the way,
speaking of ratings, nice segue by not having a one sheet. The live super SmackDown on USA
draws their worst numbers since July 4th with less than 2 million viewers. And I'm telling you,
I have no SmackDown notes because it was that uneventful. The money got it again. That's all I
could say. Thank you, James. Where did Super SmackDown come from? What's so super about it?
They want to do a whole week of WWE. It was it was SmackDown episode number 800. I'll give
him that. That was 800 episodes. That's how they celebrated it. Yeah. I do wonder though. I
did watch tribute to the troops. And it was entertaining. But I kind of wonder if tribute to the
troops would be better served as an episode overall. Because my problem with tribute to the
troops, you know all the faces are going to win. I was going to say that. That's what they said.
It's going to be a face sweet. Yeah. Which it was every year. I just wonder if it's better served
as a raw episode where they take it to the troops and they get the full raw experience.
I love that they do it. And I love the fact that they fully admit that it's JBL's baby that he
started this thing. And you know, another thing is for the Georgia line. I don't get it.
I texted Andrew last night. I said Florida, Georgia's line is like me being in a room
with a bunch of people that I've heard a joke that I haven't. And I don't get it.
Now, here's the question. I don't get real country. That about the tribute to the troops. It was
Roosev doing that bit was that smart or not. It worked. Because Daniel Bryan came out and
you did their back and forth. And then you put the picture of putting up there with the
troops. But I think everybody gets it. Because he had some guys, some soldiers come out of the
audience to stand on the apron. It was a nice little moment, you know, but to have four
to Georgia line perform twice. Why? Oh, yeah, I get it. I don't get their bit. I don't, I like to know
that I get music. I don't, I do some get it. It's not a great life to who Florida Georgia is.
I'm again, who it's that, but again, I'm not their target demo. I just, I don't get it.
But I noticed respect to them. Unless that's what I'm last day. I'm doing somebody's
theme music. Why are they there? Apparently, they're big fans. But every year, they do,
they always have some music act at the thing there. But it's written wise. Now, you
got to get it to them for you Lee's doing it for the troops anyways. I'll give them that a hundred
percent. But there, yeah, I had nothing for SmackDown. SmackDown boarded me to tears.
Except the bunny got it again, thank God. Really the bunny. What the bunny ever do?
I'm like JBL. You tonight's a fake. All right, boys, let's have our first NHL discussion of the
year. January 21st, Barbarne, you need to book a, book a plan to San Jose, California.
Because January 21st has the shark's take on the Kings. It will be Metallica.
It sounds a jersey. If you order, if you order tickets now, you'll get a t-shirt that says
Metallica sharks on it. They are going to be playing Seeking Destroy as the team comes out.
Is the vigilante going to be there? I don't know. He might drop down from the ceiling. You ever know?
Well, I think it's kind of cool. How about Metallica night? They're the same thing with the giants.
Oh, that's right. They do, don't they?
Just haven't been paying enough attention to hockey. I know the other night that the the Panthers were involved in a
21 shootout before they won. Yeah, then they're playing the capitals.
They went 21 rounds before somebody could win that shootout.
Man, let's talk some hockey
standings in the Eastern Conference at Atlantic Division. The Buffalo Sabers.
13 and 18 right now. The points are not that big of a deal right now, but they've got 28 points.
They're six points behind Oderwa. Oderwa, three behind Baston. Boston's, wow, they're that low on the list.
Boston four behind my beloved four to Panthers who are seven behind Toronto.
No, I'm looking at the run column again. Let me start over Buffalo six ahead of Oderwa. Oderwa is one behind
Boston Boston one behind Florida. Florida five behind Toronto.
Toronto is a point behind Detroit's Tampa Bay and Montreal tied for the division lead at 44 points right now.
In the Montreal Punks in the division why you're hockey.
Carolina has 22 points. They are eight points behind Jersey who's tied with Philly,
both of them are one behind Columbus. Columbus five behind the Rangers who are two behind the
Washington team who is two behind the Islanders. The Islanders are three behind Pittsburgh Pittsburgh's
one three-game straight. The Rangers have one five straight. But still wait too early. Western
conference in the Pacific division. The Edmonton Oilers with 20 points right now. They're six
behind Arizona. They still have a team. And they're the Arizona coyotes now. They're not the
Phoenix coyotes. Arizona is nine points. I'm sorry, there are 11 points behind Calgary. Calgary
three back on both Los Angeles and Vancouver. Both of them are two behind San Jose San Jose is
five behind Anaheim. Anaheim has 49 points right now. They're playing hockey, sir. I think that's
the most in the league if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, they're one point ahead of Pittsburgh right now.
Western Conference Central Division. How do you have a central division but you don't have an
eastern or west? The Colorado Adelaide's 30 points is one behind your Dallas stars. They're almost
in the basement right now. Dallas four behind Minnesota who's five behind Winnipeg. Love being
able to say that Winnipeg has a team again. Winnipeg is four behind Nashville. Nashville. One
point behind St. Louis and St. Louis. One point behind the Chicago Blackhawks. Yeah,
sorry, watch them working because we're getting close to the winner classic. I love the winner
classic though, dude. Where's it at this year? You know what? I don't know. You're going to
have to look that up for me, Donald. You're good. And see what really makes me mad is
remember last year they did that road to the winner classic on HBO. They're doing it on
ethics this year. And eight and you versus not going to make me pay more for that channel.
I already have the top of the line package. You should give me epics with it. Yeah, I agree with
it too. Makes me mad. I've got epics. Are you paying for it? Yeah. Wow. I told you my
uverse bill is a car payment. I'm going to stand off with them on ethics. They're going to
give me epics eventually. One way or another. They're going to give me a part of the star's
package. But again, I've got the top of the line package. There shouldn't be anything that's blocked
for me. Yeah. Except paper view. I get that. Right. It's the Blackhawks at Washington. Ooh. They're
paying that in RFK. That capital's national park. Oh, really. Yeah. Interesting. All right,
boys. Let's talk a little bit of movie talk. I can rush just put that up there too. I'm saying
so to chat. You beat them down, but not by much. Box office numbers from our friends at box
office.mojo.com dropping out of the top 10 this week. Dumb and Dumber 2 drops from 8 to 17. I saw
five minutes. What did you think? I liked it. It's made 83 million dollars on a $40 million
budget. Also dropping out this week. The theory of everything drops from 9 to 13 already that out.
1.6 million. You heard this even Hawking wants to be a Bondilling. Does he? He does. That's true story.
Why not? But 15 million dollar budgets made almost 20. I saw that theory of everything. What do you think?
It was good. I have the one to check it out. I think that's what I want to see. The dude that plays
Hawking. Oscar. Yeah, I think he got the nomination. Yeah, for this whole globe. If I remember.
Yeah. Horrible bosses two drops from 7 to 12. It's made 47.75 million dollars on a $42 million
budget and interstellar drops from 6 to 11 this week. But it's going to be fine. It's made
171.4 million dollars on a $165 million budget. Day viewing. In 10th place this way is P.K.
3.461 million dollars and it's day view. Penguins of Madagascar drops from the bronze
metal to 9th place. Really enjoyed that. That's a lot of fun. $3.5 million dollars for a four-week
total of $64.2 million dollars but it's a $132 million budget. This won't be pretty.
Big Hero 6 drops from 5 to 8 this week, $3.6 million dollars. It's made $190.4 million dollars,
$165 million dollars budget. So go Marvel. Go Marvel.
Top 5 drops from 4 to 7 have no desire to see this. Don't you know what it is?
The Chris Rock movie. Oh yeah. $3.6 million dollars. Two week total of 12.5 million dollars. I
do not have a budget on that. While the new Reese Withers movie jumps from 10 to 6 this week with
4.15 million dollars total of three weeks. $7.2 million dollars I don't have a budget.
Hunger Games. The mocking J. Part One. Very much enjoyed that. I want to see it.
And it stops exactly where Charlotte thought it would. I didn't think of it. I was good words.
Have they addressed what's his name? Peter? No. The villain guy. Did you want to
talk about Philipsy or Hobbit? Yeah. Not yet. But I think they filmed enough of it that they could
just kind of substitute. I don't really have the Paul Walker thing. What they did, they're about
a week short on that that they before he passed. They had about a week left in this brother's
film and they're going to see. Okay. Okay. Dropping from the gold metal to fourth place this week.
Exodus. Gods and kings started. $8.1 million dollars. Two weeks. $38.9 million dollars on a
$140 million dollar budget. It's only made 38. Exodus? Is it like to know with the rock monster? No.
I don't want to give anything away. But if you really haven't heard our iTunes exclusive about
it, it is the longest iTunes exclusive we've ever done. It probably won the last year. It runs deep.
It really does. And when I listened back to it, I was like, wow, that was a really good episode.
The discussion is very, very interesting that we had on that. All three of your top three
this week are debuts. Bronze metal this week. Annie. 16.3 million dollars. 65 million dollar
budget. Y'all better make some money. Silver metal goes to night at the museum secret of the
tomb 17.3 million dollars. $127 million dollars budget. But they'll make a lot of money this
weekend with the holiday. Oh yeah. They'll make a ton of money. Really enjoyed it. Fun. A lot of fun.
Subscribe to iTunes. Exactly. And winning the weekend to the surprise of absolutely no one,
the Hobbit battle of the five armies. 56.2 million dollars. It opened on Wednesday so your box
office total for them right now. 90.6 million dollars. I do not have the budget on that.
I kind of feel like I need to see it. And we're going to talk about why next week. As we wrap up the
year. It's a whole another year. See, which one again? The Hobbit. Okay. We'll talk about it next week.
Because there's a specific reason. Let's get right into some movie headlines.
Kate Winslet is in talks to play the female lead in Aaron Sorkin, Steve Jobs,
Vial Pick. But this thing's going to have three scenes in it. So I'm going to have three scenes.
But it's Aaron Sorkin. So you know those scenes are going to move all over the place.
What's there? We did a job movie. But this one's been in the works for a long time. They both
were competing with each other. But the other one just got done first. Which we know why because
it was crappy. The Ashankish series. We saw it. I didn't see it. Oh yeah. We did review it. It was all right.
And that's really the only headline I've got this week. Very quiet was we've already talked about
the interview thing. Not much else going on this week. Because it's the holidays and a lot of the
studios are kind of coasting through the rest of the year. So let's talk about movie new releases because
it's Christmas week. Oh, nothing comes out. Opening on Christmas day into the woods
Disney's take on the musical. It's got the Anna Kendrick in it, which ever since pitch perfect.
I've had a very unhealthy crush on Anna Kendrick. Start started this thing. But Chad
caught the music reference so we just did. It's going to make a ton of money. But I just I don't
know I got nothing. Also unbroken. Don saw this last week. He enjoyed it very very much.
And I correct on that, sir. Yes, I did. Okay. It's it's it's it's not for everybody. There is some
real brutal scenes in there that you really have to stomach. But it's also about perseverance.
Directed by the Angelina's on there. Let's check a box. Well, see it. Check a box for the premiere.
Also opening on Christmas day is the latest from Amy Adams and Kristoff vaults called Big Eyes.
It is the true story of an artist. The latest film from Tim Burton. It is very much different than
anything you've ever seen Tim Burton do. Because it's normal. Really enjoyed it, though.
I was about to ask how wheels off is it. It's really good.
Well, I can go too deep into but I can say I enjoyed it. Okay. I know for lots. Yeah.
Okay. Yeah. No, I can say I enjoyed it. But check out iTunes. Yeah. On Christmas day.
It'll be available for you. Also the gambler this week.
Lit professor and gambler Jim Bennett's debt causes him to borrow money from his mother in a loan
shark. Further complicating his situation is his relationship with one of his students.
Mark Wahlberg George Kennedy, Jessica Lang, Steve Park, Bree Larson from the from the newsroom.
Michael Kenneth Williams, Omar. This looks really cool. It looks really good.
Also a movie called Leviathan. No, it is not a remake of the 80s movie.
Speaking of remakes. Do you see that there's a company that's going to be doing a live
action movie of the 80s animated film Fire and Ice? No. Yep. They're doing a live action version of it.
I'm like, didn't that have a prank for Zeta poster? It's like, yeah, I'm looking at it right now.
Leviathan, it's a documentary shot in the North Atlantic and folks focusing on the commercial
fishing industry. So this is not a remake of the 1989 film with Peter Weller.
Also a movie because this genre is getting to be a big deal now.
Called Cut. Let me get you a synopsis on this cut with an exclamation point in case you
have to reference it. Oh, let's see. It's not giving me the whole thing. It's not giving me
the first two lines. Nothing as it seems as an X-Con and an aspiring filmmaker sent out to
manufacture a horror film by scaring real people. However, when it goes too far and someone actually
dies the pair of the side that killing for real on film is the way to make a truly terrifying movie.
So it's a good family film? Yeah. Take the kids.
Trying to go to anybody here. My Christmas. Yeah. Let's see anybody here. I recognize.
Also this week, American sniper. The long-awaited film adaptation of the book with Bradley Cooper.
Gary Murray's friend has show us on. He said it's very good in Cooper. They're talking
Oscar, not well deserved. What's it said? And Selma this week. The the biopic about Selma,
Alabama, and the cell rights movement. Which looks very very interesting to me. I want to bring
up it. It wasn't in the top 10 this year. This week which surprised me on the mojo.
Fox catcher. I saw that. Karel was incredible. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah.
That's the one where he's got it. He's like he's got it. He's got it. He's got it. He's got it. He's got it. Yeah.
Yeah, and he can't. You don't even know it. Oh no. To me, I could recognize everybody.
Yeah, but he's got prosthetics. Three hours of makeup per day to do that. And he
am getting a nod. Honestly, he deserves without a doubt.
DVD and blue right new releases in places you get DVDs and blue right new releases this week.
The good lie with Reese with with her with her spoon, which I have no desire to see.
Pride, which was an independent film. That really kind of called a little bit of
fire this year. In a good way. It's a bill nice in this. It looks very, very interesting.
UK activists work to help miners during their lengthy strike of the National Union of
Mine Workers in the summer of 1984. Big cast in this.
Where is it off? There's a lot of there's there's some pretty big British and Dominic West
from the Wires in this. So you know, you know, man, because you know a big fan of the wire I am.
Uh, the trip to Italy, which we reviewed back in August. Love this movie.
It's mostly improvised. Basically, it's a sequel to what we call the trip where Steve Cougan and
a buddy of his, his buddies a talk show host and they're both comedians in Britain and they're both
impressionists and his buddy does restaurant critiques. What's going on?
Oh, okay. Where's my phone? It's over. I don't want to say it. I'm here. Okay.
But they go on. He does he's a food blogger.
And so they see even just speaking of food blog. Steve and just sent me a picture of his dinner.
I'll truly get big pepperoni pizza and got his Nintendo. Next to them, so he's going to play some
play some Pokemon while he's listening to the show. That can get you can multitask. So proud of
the things he's doing. I mean, that kid's got to drive that a lot of a lot of people don't.
You know, he's doing all his Nintendo reviews and he's just like, you know, I want to borrow
him to do some more works. He goes back to his old job. So he's doing both now. Wow. He's really
it. He's got a lot of drive and I'm really, really proud of the things he's doing.
Now, not Bill Nye, the science guy, Chad. Bill Nye's unique. And I G H Y. Okay, because you kind of
threw me with that. I was like Bill Nye's a British actor. Um, but the trip to Italy, they like they
go to Italy to these things and then they go to these restaurants and they're basically just riffing.
The whole time, they do a bit where they're doing dueling Michael Cains from the Dark Knight
Rises. Oh, if you listen to our artisans exclusive, I was kind of mixed on that one a little bit.
I did like to really enjoyed it. My favorite line in the film. I'm going to go ahead and give it away.
They're doing like a fake talk show about Michael Boobley. And his buddy says, so where do you stay
on the Boobley and cooking goes his windpipe? But it is like, yeah, even if you write before you walk
in, you're still going to get hungry. You could have a full stomach and watch a chef for that movie
and you'll still get hungry. And if you're like me and you cried like a child at Survivor
Series, it will be available on DVD and Blue Ray this week. I've seen the cover and he's on the cover.
Really? That might have to be a purchase. I'm just saying. Uh, some tech just one quick tech
corner news unless Chad's got something in the Chad room and the Chad room is the Chad room.
TV tag, which replaced get glue will be shutting down January 1st. Yes. Um, they run out of stickers.
I guess I didn't, I was not big in TV tag. It was not nearly as, their database was not nearly as
deep as get glue as well. There was a lot of things they didn't have. And I like checking it on
stuff and giving commentary and whatnot, but it just didn't, it didn't really appeal to me.
But they sent me an email this week saying, yeah, we're shutting it down January 1st. I was like,
wow, sucks to be you. Yeah. Anything you guys have for a tech corner this week, anything
going on that I need to know about, not really, because they are bringing all the new tech stuff up
before the holidays. Uh, you know, we'll, we'll have to see if next week at this time I am the
proud owner of a Xbox One or not or if it's because it's on my Christmas list. Will the watch
be a purchase? I don't know yet. I'm not sold, especially but it's not waterproof. I'm not
worried about being waterproof. I don't like with it. I like that. You forget to take it off
and you have a shower. It looks that stainless steel band. Yeah, I mean, I like it. I just don't know if
it's worth 300 bucks. If you get a time extra 20 bucks, it's waterproof. They should make this thing
the only, the only thing that I'm interested in is to see if it has any internal storage.
Because that way I could put music in it and with my Bluetooth headset, that's all I needed to
jam. Yeah. Because right now, I have to put my phone on the, on the deal or, and, you know,
the iPhone 6 Plus is not enjoyable to carry around the GM. It's just not. You know, most people
always carry their phone with them. It has the time on it. That's why it's for people that like,
I'm at work and my phone's on my desk, like, I get a text message on it. And I do like how you can
customize the face because I saw one where the guy had the Mickey watch. Yeah. And if I get it,
that's on Apple website with that picture. If I get it, that is a Batman watch. This is my Batman watch
time. You know, they're going to have all kinds of different watches. I know. It's going to make me
frustrated. All right, gentlemen, it's time for the list. And it's going to be a good one this week. I
really believe it. Not that one. I need this one. There we go. We end every show with a list and boy,
we're way ahead of the curve tonight. It's 733. But this week, Don and I, because Chad couldn't make it.
So he said this one is going to be a hard one for him to write anyway. So it's cool. Next week,
we're going to be doing our top 10 films of the year. But I thought this week, we do our bottom 10
films of the year. And what I'd like to do, Don, if you don't mind, I'd kind of like to go one
from one. You give 10, then I'll give 10. You give nine. I give nine. We'll do it that way. And these are
these have to be films that we've actually seen. Okay. This is important. We can't just call it
because we was a little bit like a crappy film. Don actually has his head has sealed in an envelope
when he got here. So I haven't seen his. I haven't had the chance to print up the run sheets. So he
hasn't seen mine. So Don, go ahead and start. You're 10 worst film of the year. Okay. First off,
this is my list. And I could put on it. But America, America. Now, on my 10, number 10, I've seen nine
and a half of them because one I can be even finished. Okay. Fair enough. I'll give that. I'm going to give
an honorable mention because it deserves an honorable mention. The interview for not being shown.
And that's my honorable mention. Okay. Honorable mention. I can write it. Okay. My top 10, you always have
your stupid bolt movie and I always do that little thing. I just do as a joke, because she likes
that it's for me. That's the screenings. But I am calling this stupid spoiled brat movie. Annie,
do you actually see it? There, I watched part of it till I couldn't even watch it anymore.
How much of it did you get through? I got about for the first 30, some odd minutes and I was done.
Thanks, too, sir. I saw it's very cheaply put it that way. Okay. Any is a red head?
I'm sorry. Any is a red head. Yeah. That's like Zoro. That's like Jackie Chambley and Zoro. I'm sorry. It
does not work. I hate it, but that's my go from there. All right. My number 10 worst film of the year.
I can guarantee you number one's going to be the same for both me and I'll put money.
My 10 worst film of the year is a film we saw earlier in the year walking with the enemy.
Just from a visual standpoint. The effects were really, really bad and it took away from the
greatness of what the story could have been to me. That was the WWE. WWE 2. The World War
2 film about the guy that was posing as the soldier and he was trying to free. He was free in as many
of the Jews and Germany as he could. Okay. Yeah. I thought that was Schindler's list. They've done this
one too. It was a good story, but the visuals were so bad that I couldn't get past it. It was just
you didn't know it had been Kingsley in it. Right. By the way, Ben Kingsley was everywhere this year.
Oh yeah. So that was my number 10. Number nine for you, Don't. Don't you cannot say I am not
fair and impartial on. I've never said anything else. My top 10 has my few tricks wife. My version
of your Brittany Palmer. My currently, I'm sorry as much as I love you. Number nine is Leggease.
I have that a little bit higher. I can see that, but it's still made my top 10. It very disappointing.
It made remember, it made Dave mad. What's it? Yes, it did. Kind of heated iTunes exclusive,
but as much as I love my care nightly, it made my top 10 works of the years. Don't see it.
By the way, my my honorable mention, Son of God. Okay. So I just wanted to put that out there,
because I did have to have one of those. My number nine worst film of the year
was the Schwarzenegger vehicle sabotage. This one is so bad. Like, it was just like,
he really wanted it to be 1986 again. And it was just like, it was like they just ran out of
a story at the end. They were like, okay, just do this and I'm gonna get out of this thing.
Get to the job. Yeah, I just, I thought it really had a lot of potential in the beginning.
And it just fell short for me. It's totally fell short for me.
Don, you're never right. I did not see this in the theaters, but I saw it on like HBR,
one of those the Elcs of the channels there. And this might make some people mad. And, but I don't care.
It was even, we had a big thing at the diff there, but heaven is for real.
Really? Yes. Did I realize you did not enjoy that film? I did. I just thought it was too
logical. It's logical. Yeah. The pause thing. It's like, you know, I like to give a little
like meme of the video. But I just thought it was too simple of a movie. And this is going to be
a cool thing about all this and didn't get to in depth on the whole thing. And I thought it dragged.
I did not enjoy it at all. Okay. My number eight was a movie we saw recently, Exodus Godden Kings.
I could see it. This movie made me angry. Like, not as bad as Noah, but it's dog on clothes.
And, and I finally, I did find somebody who truly agrees to me.
Chick McGee from the Bob and Tom show us that he walked out 40 minutes in.
Really? Yeah. So, one of the greatness of members of the Bob and Tom show agrees
on you so I'm good with that. I thought it was okay, but that's your. Okay. Number seven.
Okay. This one. I thought that the it was on our list to be screened by our
great friends of allied. Our best friends in the whole world. I think them for a lot of this stuff here.
We're going to do a lot of that next week. We're going to do a lot of the things you said. Yeah, but still.
The it was on the list to be screened and then they pulled it and they did not screened to the press.
And now I know why. Really. I Frankenstein. Oh, yeah. I saw it on HBO. Thank God. That's not on HBO.
I looked interesting. I like the premise of the sci-fi. You know, good versus evil. All that.
And he got into it. It was just horrible. The plot was bad. Did I? No, this looks so cool. But
remember that. My number seven. Transformers. Really? Because I don't know. I'm
call up by it's real name. This movie. Transformer. It's in the garage. Bad.
This movie made me angry on so many levels. Words cannot express. Like, but at least
Optimus was a cab over truck. I'm going to say it would have made my list by never saw it.
I don't plan on saying it. I paid to see this. Oh, I'm sorry. Money to see this in three days.
Did it. It is because of this movie that I am no longer a Michael Bay of
Polishes. Like, this movie stopped my my you get a pass. Yeah, it has passed.
Just ran revoked his pass with me. Bad boys could not get could not redeem him from this movie.
I mean, it's kind of like, you know, like you said, the Boston accent in Paris, Texas. There you go.
It wouldn't be my last bite ever. I might do that.
Number five. Number six. I'm sorry. Number six. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I saw it.
I saw it in the theater because I gave it a shot and I thought it might be interesting. What the heck.
And there's only thing out that weekend. And we saw that the EMC value for six bucks. So whatever.
No one.
That couldn't put on my list because I haven't seen it. I have. And I refuse to put this way.
If you did. Yeah, it's stupid rock people. It was in how they made them look like a psycho and all this stuff.
Where do they get the rock people from? Because it was directed by an atheist. Yeah. Oh, okay.
That's rock people. I'm coming. Why? Because apparently there's a power range.
You're moving that I was on a werewolf. Yeah. Yeah. It was a bit entertainment. It was around during those days.
I'll leave it at that. No one. My number six. Another movie we saw recently with Nicole Kidman before I go to sleep.
What a turd. I mean, there's no other way for me to say it. Like,
I get where they were trying to go with it. But they dropped. Basically Nicole Kidman is a woman who's had an accident in every day.
Oh, it's 50 first dates. It's sleeping with the 50 first dates. Yeah. And it just never got there for me.
Like it was really trying to be a multi twist thriller. And you could see how hard it was trying when it just never got there for me.
It was just one of those deals. I was like, then, then, then, then, then, then.
Number five. Okay. This looked so cool in the trailers. I thought this is going to be cool. I paid six bucks at the value again.
So I don't feel that ripped off. In as much as this man will be in my heart to the day I died because he was Jack Bauer.
You are running out of time. I really enjoyed eating. Jack Bauer always gets a pass on me.
Another day was good. I enjoyed it. Yeah. As much as Jack Bauer
Give her some extra hopscotch in and that made me happy.
Keep her Sutherland in Pompeii.
Pompeii in 19th, the museum was probably better than that.
Yeah. I'm watching it on the cable channel. You are running out of ash.
I didn't get into it. Yeah. Did you blame me? Yeah. I mean, I think I watched maybe 20 minutes and I just
it didn't hook me so I changed it. You were rooting for the volcano. Just like I was rooting for the stupid
boat to sink. Wait, I look at it. I know the story. So I'm not sure. I know how this is. Yeah.
Am I number five? You mentioned it earlier. Laggies. This movie. And again, I said this in our iTunes
exclusive. I know I'm not the target demo for this film, but this film was bad. The only good
thing about this film was Sam Rockwell. If he wasn't on the screen, it wasn't any good.
And I had my eye candy. That's only good about it. You know, yeah. You're in 1923. Okay.
Yeah. That one made him day very mad. And I could see the point there. You know.
So yeah. I want that hour and a half back. Number four. That's when I saw because, you know,
what the heck it was in the theaters and I remember right. Never ends well when it starts
that way. Just this point of contention. Don't get these confused because I never saw the other one.
Okay. The one that came out earlier before the Rocks Hercules, the legend of Hercules.
Oh, yes, I did. With the different Spartacus in it. That was so cheesy acting. It was horrible.
I just have for 10 minutes like going, this was the Hercules. Even though even the Rocks didn't do well.
No, the Rockbait is like best picture compared to that thing. I can't tell. Yeah. No. Legend of Hercules.
You know, go to the eye doctor before you see that thing. I don't know. My number four.
obvious child. With Jenny Slate. This thing was terrible. She basically plays a stand-up
comic who has a one-night stand-up with a dude and winds up with child in the side. She doesn't
want to be with child and it was a short film they made into an hour and a half long movie.
I forgot about that one. That makes my out of momentum. Yeah. This was really real.
People were tiring. This is one of the best movies of the year and then we saw it and I was like,
how much crack do you smoke? Because this is bad. And I don't care. I'm going to put a spoiler.
She tells the guy, the father of the child who's falling for her,
aren't pregnant as a comedy bit on stage. No, not only does he tell? No, he knows that she's pregnant.
He didn't know what to tell, but she says on stage while he's watching that she's looking to
terminate the pregnancy on. Yeah. During her staying-up act. Yeah. Yeah. I don't mind spoiling it either.
Because if it saves you an hour and a half of your life, hey, I'm here for you. We're here for you. Do
not see this thing. Number three. You had it earlier on your list. Okay. Nicole Kidman before I go to sleep.
Yes. That's my number three. It was just like, it felt like if this movie had come out in 1987,
like it would have been better. But it was just like I've seen this a thousand time and they dropped
the ball. And I do enjoy the Nicole Kidman. And I know that Don has a personal vendetta. Yes, I do.
I'll still give her a move on. Rush. He wasn't credible. I'm the first who's done.
I'll give credit. Yeah. Okay. My number three is a movie that we we screened and with the
cast that it had as hard as it fell on its face. It really, really hurt me. Are you here?
Owen Wilson, Amy Poler, Zach Galafanakis. Basically Galafanakis and Poler's dad passes away.
So he has to go back to his hometown. Owen Wilson plays his best friend.
Wouldn't that call it August, Dosation County? Part two. That movie was good. Yeah, that wasn't
credible. That was a great one. That was that was still Magnolia's to me. I called this still
Magnolia's for a more cynical generation. But I loved that film. If that film to me was highly
underrated. I'll give you. I thought that was okay. I really did, you know, but it wasn't. I don't think
it'd make the top 10. Steven does say if either one of us has Godzilla, he's putting on a hit
on both of us. I don't have Godzilla on my list. Oh, I forgot about that. That's an horrible
mention, too. That thing was horrible. Godzilla is only in there for 10 minutes of the whole
film. If you put it all together, the fight scene was only five minutes. Let it go, man. Okay,
there you go. And not in the, oh, I get it back to their song because it's, and they're telling
me, I'm out of time. And I'm not, I haven't seen him out of time. Um, yeah, just, are you here?
Which just, I was so, I was just, I was an angry, I was sad that it was so bad. Like this cast,
it should have been better. I thought it was okay, but it didn't make it. I don't think it should
make my top 10 of the worst. Number two. Number two. Oh, I've been waiting to wrap this thing.
I already did already. This was so close to being number one. Okay. But number one. I saw the
trailer on this and I thought this looks so cool. But if you read my written review on our website,
the clubhousepodcast.com, if you hear the written, our, our audio review, this look like a totally
incredible film. I was so pumped to see it. And oh my gosh, when it was done, even everybody
went to sit this thing was horrible. In fact, when the movie ended, one or two people start clapping
and going, and no one else clapping to the kind of one like that, Nicholas Cage's Rapture movie
left behind. Get a rookie now before you see that thing. Why? But in this movie, this was so cheesy.
They had a background noise, the whole time of music. When you were talking about the music,
I call the background noise and I'm very rude. All the action in the trailer is
all the action in the total movie. It was something like, I was like, and this is Ratha.
God, this is what Ratha happens to me. Let's see if I'm going to get to my daughter.
You know, he wrote that. He was like, I can't do it. You have this hot girl walking down the street
during the Rapture. No one's going to do anything to her or anything. There's no looting. No
that killer. I'm just getting to see. No violence, no nothing. I'm saying when Rapture
happens, it's anarchy. And this thing was so horrible, so cheesy, so acting, I hated the thing.
Last half of the movie has gone. How can I rip this on the review? Get a rookie now before you
see this thing. My number two was a movie that a lot of people lauded and I saw it at the
Dallas International Film Festival and went, yeah, no. It's called the Congress. It starts Robin
Wright Penn playing herself as an aging actress and she's given an offer to have herself digitized
and sign her likeness over to a studio who will then take her likeness and basically make her
a live CGI actress in films and she'll be young forever. And so she does it and then she and
then half of it's animated. It's by the same guy that did waltzing with Bershier. So I was like,
that was a great film. This was terrible. Like, it gets so existential and you don't know what's
going on for like 20 minutes. And it's like, oh, that's oh, okay. But no, no, no, no. So if you have a choice
of scenes between seeing the Congress and being slapped upside the head with a titanium mallet,
take the second less painful option. Now, I'm just going to go ahead and go straight to number one
because our number one's going to have to be the same. I would bet my mortgage that our number one is
not the same. I do a little bit of a lead on this one. Get a rookie now, get your eyes burned out
for the after the first 10 minutes for the rest of the movie. I was going, how can I rip this thing
nicely? And we have the same movie as our movie theater. And Ashley and Alex, I even told her
from film, I said, you know, this thing, she goes, yeah, I know a rip it, go ahead. And it actually,
if we have like the top 10 movies of the decade, this will make my worst top 10 of the decade.
I can't debate that. Rob, Scarlett Johansson and under the skin.
Bang, here's how this works. She's an alien, right? What's good spoilers? It deserves it.
She's an alien. And she lives with Southern. The male alien in the alien. And so she drives around
that night looking for guys who don't have emotional attachments or like families local. And she
seduces them and then kills them. Okay. And in the way she kills them is a really weird thing.
But what you find out after the movie, when you go do your research, there was no script for this.
It was literally her driving around in this van and talking to people.
These know these people were actors. They were real people. And if they agreed to get in the van
with her, then they would stop in the director would come up and say, okay, here's what this is.
It's a movie. Here's what's going to happen. Are you cool? Because you're going to have to be naked.
And if they're cool with it, then they go through with it. And then she has like a moment of
consciousness where she doesn't, and she just feels bad about it. And then the other male guy
gets upset. And so he starts to hunt her down. If you, there's the only reason to see this film
is for about a minute and a half of it. And the only way I'll put it is the best way to watch this film.
If you, if this is something you're watching it for, is go look at the Mr. Skin version.
You'll get what you need. I mean, that's the, that's the reason everybody wanted to go see it.
Because of that. And it was just like, okay. Is there a movie around this? Because like,
how can you have a movie? No script. No script. There was no script. There was a storyline.
And this is what we're going with. If you're interested, I'm sure the scenes are on the internet.
Go find them. Yeah. Because the internet to thing. And how the critics gave this at 86%
approval rating. And how that it was so artsy, fartsy. And I think that's why because
everybody wants to endorse that quote unquote art film. And what's not poster that said this was the
greatest. It was Alfonso Cuaro, the guy that directed gratties. It was the best sci-fi movie in 10
years. I'm like better than it was it wasn't better than the one you directed. The only thing I said
that was I could say that was actually I liked about it besides Scarlett. In that, but was the scenery
in Scotland look beautiful. That's the only thing I could say that I liked about it.
After 10 minutes, I'm going, oh, how can I rip this thing? How can I rip this thing?
Like I looked at my watch. I'm like, we're 15 minutes into this. Like really it starts off with this
red ball and you hear this annoying sound for 10 minutes. It was like the guy was trying to be Kubrick's
21 in the beginning and just failing is really. Get a rookie now. Drop off of your leg. Was it
filming glass gal? I don't know. Very funny sir. Very, very funny. Tonya, that's a Steve Austin
reference. Get spinal surgery. Get a rookie now. Get your eyes poked out.
Before you see this thing, this thing needs to be burned in the thrown away from society. Again,
if we have a top 10 worst of the decade, this is going to be on my top 10. I can't debate that.
I truly cannot debate that. This was, and allied as much as we love you. No, but they always
want our honest opinions and that's one of the things I love about our friends and allied
integrated marketing is they really do, they want us to give our honest opinions and we had no
problem doing that with this film. I did it rightfully on the review. I did it nicely. He
has to admit. I was kind of anything you want to put on a list that we haven't covered
barbar? No. No, I have not seen TV Ninja Turtles, but I've heard good things about TVD.
Okay. I have my hopes up so much for the back on bad street. It was, it was enjoyable. It was
enjoyable. I wanted more. Yes. But it was still good. I wanted more and less of the stories
with Tony. Well, I think that if they had given him more time to tell the stories, because we
had Keith Alcone, the director in the studio. Great guy. We also had him on the show when we were
at the Dallas video fest. You could not find a nicer human being, but really enjoyed having him
here. But they just, I don't want it anymore. But that would never come close to my worst of the year.
Never ever come close. I wouldn't, I wouldn't call it a bad thing. It's just I was expecting more.
You fell a little empty. Fair enough. All right. Let's do the plug show.
