In the Eastern Conference Atlantic division the Brooklyn Nets they have a 333 winning percentage.
There's six and 12 but they're 10 and a half back.
They've lost three in a row.
They are three and a half games back on the next.
The NICs are a game and a half back on the 76ers who have won three in a row.
So maybe the the era of the tank is over trust the process they they're a half game behind
Toronto Toronto now five back on Boston Boston's one two in a row in the central division
the Chicago Bulls though once mighty Chicago Bulls currently three and 15 Russ is listening

with the Washington Bull Wizards in the Western Conference.

Conference Pacific division the Sacramento Kings five and 14 they're nine nine and a half
back.
The Linux has lost three in a row I'll be in full Linux tomorrow.

a half back on Golden State Golden States one two in a row.

Memphis is three back on go Pelicans the Pelicans are a game and a half back on San Antonio
San Antonio now chasing Houston by three games but Houston's now one four straight and
in the Northwest division Oklahoma City finding the basement at eight and eleven but they're
three and a half back they've lost two straight Utah has one two straight and they are a half
game up on them but they're they're two and a half back on Denver Portland in Minnesota
both tied for first in that division Portland winning two in a row we're not doing at the
playoffs started today because we're not even to the quarter pole yet all right let's

service or not but if I told you there was a Harley Quinn animated series with this interest you

anime in series no I'd still get it probably just to be obligated to get it it's like one of
those things you have to end up having even if you just like one thing on it like I know too many
people who have the WWE network and they only liked the attitude there and they don't even watch
the product now but they have it you know I can't say that I'm not intrigued I don't know if I
need 22 episodes because that's what they're saying that's going to be a 22 episode first season
but I don't know popular character right now until next week in the midst of a lot of controversy
Jeffrey Tambor has left transparent which I only know enough about that show to be dangerous
but doesn't that kind of kill that show because isn't it about him you think and his character
because family guy did a parody of it just saying I did like watching last week's episode where
Peter was going through a list of something and he said lightsaber oh because he was trying to
prove that this restaurant could have a dish that he wanted he wanted shepherds pie and he's going
off all of the ingredients you have this you have this lightsabers and he's got the lightsaber
I remember when we did Star Wars I love that show and apparently the community movie is not
dead Dan Harmon still keeping it alive working with Justin Lin so let's take a guy that's
directed some fast and furious movies and let him do the community movie very strange
a TV on DVD and Blu-ray this week if you are a fan of the Gilmore Girls revival a year in the
life season one available this Tuesday as well as and if you haven't seen this and you don't have
HBO go hit wherever you can rent this from or buy it from this week because the defiant ones
hits Blu-ray this week this is the three or four part documentary series about Dr. Dre and Jimmy
Iovine this thing is amazing if you if you have any love for music in any way shape or form you will
find something in this that fascinates you all right what's better the guy from the food fighter
to date rolls and his thing or sonic highways or this apples and oranges it's two completely
different deals because they're both amazing they're both amazing yes sonic highways was more about
individual tracks on an album in the cities they were recorded in where this is more of a snapshot
of the better part of 50 years in the music industry and it's it's brilliant and they've got bono
so but but food fighters got carry card junior and Joe Walsh so there's a balance there and
Joe jet all right so you're always in the clubhouse podcast and we've only got a couple more
irregular shows before the end of the year so a couple of things that we're going to be we're
going to be doing a live housekeeping right now because nobody knows what I'm about to talk about
of clash of champions which will be three weeks from today we're going to have to use that as our
show gift exchange okay just because the next two weeks are Christmas even new years even we're
we're going to take time yeah of course I'm saying this up front and I hate to say this but I'm
going to say it anyway y'all will have to forgive me in advance this will be a very very skim
Christmas for us but I will do what I can okay you but you give up your house for us but still
that doesn't mean if you know anything about this show we do the gift exchange every year okay I
don't always out shines everybody anyway well first off I mean you know if it's you know more than
five hundred dollars that's fine I mean we're good you know but that's a dance budget so he works
out but number two oh your gay gift is done and your gay gift is done and yours is on the way
and in fact you got least two if not three I don't think about giving you three okay so I didn't
he's more animated do gag gift don's the only one that does don's the only one that does his bit
yeah so it's okay it's okay that don don well I'm piggyback oh but under normal circumstances don's the
only one that's his bit so we let don't have to say to you is I got you something about everybody
on this planet all right let's let's talk about that's that's the other thing we need to talk about
because I will be on the road Monday through Friday the next two weeks I'm hitting six cities
in two weeks you're leaving so tomorrow morning I'm headed to Phoenix for a couple of days and then
a day in Topeka and a day in Kansas City flying home Friday afternoon then flying back out next
Monday morning we'll do the show Sunday night I'll fly out next Monday morning I'm going to Columbus
for a couple of days then Raleigh for a day and a half and then Atlanta for a day and a half
you leave my town so I am yeah okay the rumors are true okay so the other thing we're going to
need to talk about is next Sunday is bull selection Sunday so what we're going to need to do
isn't that a penalty since he kicked it uh no he kicked it oh yeah he kicked it should not him
they gave me so do we want to stay with me stay with me so do we want and because that next week
you know the bulls are going to start so we're going to need to talk about how we want to do bull picks
this year do we want to do it as a special edition do we want to do it during the show
because I think the first bull game is like what usually like the 20th
Steven am I close on that I think the 22nd or something it's like a really odd day
are I mean are we at triple digit yet in bulls when it comes to number of bulls now I mean
for years triple digits I said we have triple digits we may as well be exactly let's see if I can
find the schedule not basketball bull schedule 2017 that's a thing December 17th
so I'm waiting for the first week I'm waiting for the Lewis and Clark bull from Rocky Mountain
College in Billings Montana there's that's gonna happen yeah um but yeah it's it's gonna be
December 17th so that will be whoo I'm trying to do math here so we'll have an extra week
so it'll be the day before the pay-per-view so well here's the thing um let's see not
to 17th but the 10th I'm gonna be at the Baltimore game that night in Pittsburgh on the 10th
all right so we'll figure it out so just guys be aware that those two things are on there because
every year we do have a friendly competition with everybody on the show where we go through and
we actually put on work on record uh our picks for the bulls if we don't it's not bulls it's all
straight up yeah um if you do your picks because of the colors of the teams yeah and she tends to
win I have won one time and I've never never came close now if it's on the 10th I'll just email
them in well the 10th is a Wednesday no no the 10th December 10th oh December 10th I'll be in
Pittsburgh okay we'll figure it out okay at the Baltimore okay so just be aware that that's
coming up okay and then uh we'll uh the other thing we're gonna need to do is we're going to need
to figure out when we're going to do our end of year lists because I don't want to do it before
episode eight comes out the problem is that following Sunday's pay-per-view and then we're off for two
weeks so we need to figure out if we're just gonna do a special edition which will probably end up
happening we'll just do an iTunes exclusive so if you're not subscribing on your favorite podcast
app you need to do that if I can put in my vote my vote is for the special edition and when we
record it before the pay-per-view well we're gonna have to make sure that we're within Don
schedule because I don't want Don emailing that in I want him in the room there could be some stuff
that comes out Christmas I'll be honest a lot of times we did it in the beginning of January
because then the year's done let's do it on the 7th January 7th yeah we'll let's talk about it
let's get it because I think that'd be because then it gives a whole year because what happens
if something comes out in the last two weeks like a week and you get one of the most magical things
because a lot of the they're putting Oscar baits in right now or are we get together early
on New Year's Eve or something because I won't have church that week so yeah maybe we can figure
something out but guys know it is coming oh yeah I've seen over 70 films myself this year
and we've got a couple of reviews coming your way this week as well but they'll only be in print
because we're not gonna be having time to do special edition and I'm tempted to rent song for
song I'm tempted I'd be song too song close enough same thing and it's just as terrible as you
think it is yeah it's not worse all right so let's get to person of interest P.O.I. is a segment
we do on this show where we take a person or an entity and we debate their greatness or lack
thereof I said in pre-show we had our pre-show meeting in the green room and I did say
Jen is going to hate this and I apologize ahead of time because Jen is doing one of these
hippie cleanse things for a month where your doctor is a hippie and he said
she your doctor is a hippie she is not and if it works and it fixes what's going on then it's
a good thing if it fixes what's wrong with you I will then and only then admit it to not being
a hippie thing okay I'm reserving judgment it is now recorded but it is still a hippie anyway
so Jen is as she can only eat farva beans between three twenty five and four o'clock on odd
Thursdays of even months I don't know how this works I have about 20 items I'm allowed to eat real
quick or any of them stake yes okay real quick last year we did our end of year list on January 8
okay well then we can wait okay that's yeah and also a big event coming up in January
that we're going to be back on the air for a week and then we're taking a week off and we're
going to talk about why here in just a little while um so I apologize to you ahead of time for
what we're about to talk about but we're going to talk about something that I experienced recently
that not only have I not done this particular thing in a very very long time the fashion in which
this thing happened I've never done before and it is a holiday brunch
Jen's family came up for thanksgiving his Jen not me yes the the lovely and talented Mrs.
my in-laws and their in-laws it was very confusing I felt like I needed a flow chart at one point
to figure out who everybody was but they were coming to town and they were like hey let's get
together and we'll go to a hotel and we'll have Thanksgiving dinner so I was like okay that sounds
like fun then I found that it was a Thanksgiving brunch so I was a little bit nervous because I was
like hey hey hey hey hey this is Thanksgiving there are certain elements that have to happen to be
Thanksgiving the mimosas make brunch better I could not do the mimosas because I can't do the shampoo
brunch without mimosas but there was there was mimosas available that they made at the table they put
the champagne in the orange juice inseparably so we met uh first quick first quick shout out to the
marriott at the shops at legacy okay up there on the north side beautiful job I took some pictures
and put them on my instagram if you follow yes that rob urban on instagram um I know that Alex saw
because he commented on the the staging area if you will where they had churro flavored popcorn check
that's really a thing uh so they took us they you paid as you walked in because it's a brunch you
don't you're not ordering anything it just all happens right so they take us into this huge ballroom
now let me say first of all when you are bringing us into a Thanksgiving brunch and you want
everybody to kind of be in that mind frame they had a nice huge big screen tv as you walked in
it's Thanksgiving it's noon so it was about noon and you're showing the dog show that's a bad idea
just that your other watch that or the cowboys well the cowboys weren't on yet it was still a
Detroit in the soda game and it was and it was at the half but there was a tv off to the side that
was showing that but that's okay but out in the foray area of the banquet hall see they kind
of had this little backwards in my opinion because in the foray before you walked into the main banquet
because and it was the full but like they took out all the partitions it was the entire banquet hall
at this hotel out in the foray because they were doing pictures or you could pick a background
but they had the dessert tray in the foray I'm sorry not the dessert tray the dessert smorgasbord
to make sure you save room because this dessert area zoned I guess you could say
was the size of Montana I think Jen has a good point on this though
I'm just saying so I mean none of it I could have anyway because none of it was sugar free but
they did have cake pops and I was very upset that I couldn't have cake pops so we went into the
banquet hall and they sat as I'm there I mean there were big there's a big party of people there's
a lot of us and so they sit at this huge table and it reminded me a lot of about 10 years ago
Jen and I had the opportunity to spend New Year's Eve at the Gaylord Texan it reminded me a lot of
that where it was just areas of food like they had an entire pig out there that they were cutting
out that was smoked gorgeously there was prime rib there was crab cakes which were handmade by
the way and not not like breaded before they were deep fried so you could see the cuts
and of course and and my my fears were assaged because they had all the traditional
Thanksgiving stuff plus you had all the breakfast stuff they had eggs benedict of course which
makes a lovely entail Mrs. Irvin a very happy girl because that's her favorite breakfast thing
of all time she and I are going to breakfast sometime once I'm done with this torture to myself
they had an entire they had one of those custom omelette stations yeah they had an entire
station that was sushi that I told my wife I was disappointed because I didn't know it was there
and she can she can she has sushi radar she can find sushi like a mile out and I was like I've
already gone through a plate of food and you didn't tell me there was sushi and she was like I
didn't know there was sushi I'm like I rely on you for these things now was it actually sushi or
because it was brunch wasn't like a locks tape no it was it was they were actually making the beds
of rice and putting the sushi on top of it I see where you're going there was no locks though no
locks locks was not a thing because believe me I love me some locks you put some some locks even
when we especially when they put the the lock the locks in the smear do we have got some to have
a lot of people listening that know what locks if they don't go Google it there you go because I
actually when I was in New York for Brent's wedding I had an eggs benedict that had the the salmon on
yeah I'm googling locks all shows is L O X not L O C K S we have to fact check the fact check
this sad part is I should have seen that coming yes you should I should have and I didn't
well it was I didn't really I did baited that locks L O X yeah liquid knocks oxygen now
I don't think my line don't if that's what you want to do did you do this two words or one word
no it's not one word and it says locks is is smoke oh here's a second one a locks is a
full a full of a fillet of a blind salmon traditionally locks us serve with bagel and
we're ever called a cheese it is a usually garbage with tomato I feel like sometimes if they
brought back hooked on phonics Don would never have to work again because Don could do the commercial
and be the spokesman for hooked on phonics no they want somebody who actually can you wish worth
the locks is derived from the Yiddish word for salmon oh good luck which you're typing the
asks I hear typing what's going on now please remember that the information given is not held
true by all of us you know here locks oh no please stop I just want to go on record and say
that a brunch without mimosas is just a sad late breakfast that's that's communism okay okay
it's okay to talk about but not everyone can have mimosas I did not say they were required
to drink okay it's it's more like a delicacy on a menu now be honest I did work at the
four seasons for six years and I did every mother's day and Easter and a lot of people they didn't
want it they want mimosas some people you know we made in first two I'm a fan of the mimosas I just
can't have them I prefer the point said I would just understand them I'm leaving you want to
desert somewhere separate because it's kind of saying here's the last course and you want an area
where lots of people in a four years of good area where people can get in and we'll be too rushed
and all cramped and all that stuff or to advise that a thing if they got one of those fondues with
the chocolate that pours do not eat from those because someone always sticks their finger in there
every time I've always done a function at the four seasons we have one of those things there
a fountain a fountain the chocolate mountain fountain fondue the chocolate I think you
don't have to specify chocolate in that regard but still I want to cheese one eight hundred
any seed EFG that's all I'm saying I've gotten to do the I've been very fortunate that I've gotten
to be at Disney and Florida on holidays before Disney on Christmas is they Disney will tell you
there are two days of the year we don't think you need to be here is July the 4th and Christmas day
and I have been to Disney on Christmas day they are absolutely right why is that this was late because
there's a hundred thousand people in the park really but this was late these early 90s that's when I
was there and it wasn't quite as bad as it is now it's gotten worse oh yeah I mean it's if you go
to Disney on Christmas day you are a glutton for punishment because they start they do the decorating
like right after Halloween so they're like come see us like the week after Thanksgiving you can
come Thanksgiving week and see all the decorations but avoid us on Christmas day because you're not
going to be able to do any you only two hours for every ride if you're lucky yeah and see I don't
I don't have any of those memories of that and this was before you could do the fast pass the last
time was there with a fast pass the lines were longer than any I'd ever seen oh absolutely so it
wasn't that horrible but they we were there for a new years and I got to do a new year's teen dance
and my sister won a pair of Reeboks she didn't want so I got the Reeboks but I mean there's just
the food is a color me bad was there live and no offense that's last night that's why we went to
grapevine last night instead of three weeks from early you know there's some people there not
of you know but you tried trying to park grapevine on main street on three Saturdays from now
which is also where the galore Texan is right this street no we drove around there too and all that
yeah but you move past the train station but the the holiday brunch is an amazing thing and I mean
we had an amazing time and and again shout out to the people up there to marry out the shops
of legacy the everything was top notch I mean you wanted for nothing whatever you needed they
they were able to locate for and there was a guy up there with an acoustic guitar which I walked
in and I was like very talented he brought he brought a little James Taylor he brought a little
eagle he brought a little Zach Brown Band and it was just him and his acoustic and he had a little
pedal then when he pressed it it turned his vocal in the harmony it was very impressive no
questions how much was it I don't know I do not know one of the we were covered it's like
like the Easter and Mother State brunch at the four seasons now when I quit there you know about
five six years ago it was about 70 bucks a person for an adult 34 kid got that on me yeah
but again I was I was a little skeptical going in because I like my holidays the way I like my
holidays this was delightful we had a wonderful time had a great time with the family and the family
of the family and the family of the family the family um we it was a great idea a great idea for
people and there's of course there's no cleanup because they do it for you and again shout out to
the Marriott when they have a table leave they replaced everything oh yeah the table cloth came
down I said maybe this is the upper lower class today that's kind of what's it just you know try
to find a table or they actually see you at a time no they sat us okay this because the number one
there were so many of us yeah that they were like no we need to get you a longer table and I mean it
was really really well done I was very impressed by the whole process um and it wasn't very crowded
which was kind of nice I mean I'm sure I mean it started at 10 a.m. and we were there at like actually
we were probably there about 1 1 30 um but I'm sure it was probably cry of the morning but when we
got there was half time of the Lions game because I don't know who that was playing at half time
that's the only reason I remember it was half time because I was like I don't know who that is
no 10 a.m. it's dead but by 11 we had we had a great time yeah yeah so if it's something that that
that you're into go check it out man we had a really really good time I very much enjoyed it and
if you're listening to us in your live in the chat room again we apologize our chat room is
not behaving itself today and I don't know why yeah what about other restaurants opening like
Applebee's on things but you know I will say this year I was very pleasantly surprised by the
number of restaurants I drove by that were empty even even as we were because we drove to my brother
in law's house and they live out on the west side afterwards when we left their house it was
probably I mean the night game had just started so it was probably eightish even the little dive bars
as we were going back out to the freeway all closed and I was like you know what respect like certain
places like Buffalo wild wings I get it there's football to be watched my old bar never closes
we were one of the very first places to be open on both holidays but if you're not if sports
is not your thing and you're not open respect now when you've got places that are opening when
Walmart opens at six o'clock on Thanksgiving night to me that's crappy pool it just is what do you mean
I knew some places that were saying we're not opening until you know four o'clock because we want
to give our staff time to be with their families totally okay with that but we also want to be open
for those who aren't going to have a meal otherwise totally okay with that you know what a burger
always open yeah I hop packed I've done the water burger on yeah well we have to admit because we're
doing something for my sister mom but we we did shopping on Thursday night this year okay and do
it and you know I always against that sin and doing what toys or us and some other stores we're
seeing on Friday morning there was no one there no one there when everybody's doing their shopping
yeah they're doing all or why not just do it online and get the same deals and when you're
looking at the HVAC repair thank you my favorite company who I reviewed on Facebook and the ER
and the ER visit I don't know that I had any money to go do the black Friday specials so you know
I mean but the thing is the stores want you in their buy and impulse items that's why they'll
give sometimes only in store items not that they want to burn Monday well I know but still they
they they will do in store deals only because they want people now I did a little grocery shopping
last night shout out to Kruger because one of our favorite frozen pizzas that are normally 950
a piece for one day only work 299 a piece did you buy them out got three of them it maximum of five
so yeah I mean I did that's the only shopping I did all day and here's a hint if you ever have
that again call me I'll get to the Kruger by me right by them for you now Steven you've been
awful quiet over there friend I know at one point you were you you kind of go back and forth on
the brunch thing oh yeah there we go okay thank you thank you that's why he's my brother ladies
gentlemen all I was hearing was black Friday and then we ended back up at brunch and I know that
you had some very strong opinions on the whole brunch thing I just I feel like you know
mimosas if you drink them or you don't it's just like a like one of those mandatory things on a menu

grandfather on the Cosby show if you remember him a great actor he's he's one of those guys that
if you look him up like he's that guy that was in that thing let's see let me give you some more
details on this he was 91 so big bucket of wind he was actually panthorough on thunder cats I
did not know that I did not know that he was born in Rocky Mountain North Carolina let's see
did he did did he did he did he played a ton of people he was in the last weekend he was in
the super cops oh dear god he was uncredited probably for a reason did a version of Julius
Caesar in 1979 for at first acting gig was in 1945 when he did the last weekend also was in
a hallmark hall of fame in 1957 did east side west side the defenders he was on all my children
for a number of episodes let's see he was also he was also a red eye in thunder cats 125 episodes
also in long days journey into night he did the edge of night a man called Hawk if you remember
those that spent off from Spencer for hire when a theater world award in 1956 won nominated for
a Tony in 1980 for the lady from Dubuque won a cable ace award for long days journey into night and
got an Emmy nomination in 1986 for his work on the Cosby Show also passing away this week the great
Mel Tillis at 85 father of country superstar Pam Tillis if you know who she is I always remember
Mel Tillis because back in the day because he had a bit of a stutter and he was a spokesman for
Fina the gas station you got a whole lot of friends at Fina and actually wrote that on their billboards
there's no way you get away with that now Delarice yeah passing away at 86 this week I think
that was done to balance some other things out that we're not giving more time to yeah and Delarice
big fan one of the very few highlights of Harlem nights is Delarice and David Cassidy yeah we
mentioned we talked about him during the paper view last week that he was on life support he did
pass away at 67 this week and it's kind of weird because when they reported that he'd gone into
critical care literally hours before that we were actually talking about I think I love you at
band practice very strange very random non-sequitur we had a band practice and all of a sudden the
guys in the hospital did not know that Katie Cassidy plays uh um it's not black yet because that's
spider-man she's um she's on arrow that's his daughter oh I know they're related I just
that is his daughter yeah why can't I think of I can't think of who she plays black canary black
canary oh Russ says that uh Mel Tillis also did a waterburger commercial Mel Tillis did a lot of
everything so but David Cassidy well that was a big one for a lot of people especially in the
generation right before mine yeah that was a big deal for them so and then we had a lot of people
that died even the weekend before that but we'd already have the show by the point so a lot going

first of the year with the NHL because I want to have more all right more of a gold differential

only team in that division that is not at least one one so what we'll see we're going to see a
pins game then up for the Columbus is on a six game win streak the islanders in Washington three
Rangers four and New Jersey two see I'm going to motivate my team when I go out there and say
I want you to be the first team since the eighties to triple three feet to count if it gets you
through the night in the western conference central division that doesn't have an eastern or
western the Colorado avalanche with 24 points they are 13 back in the division they're a point
behind Minnesota who's tied with the Dallas stars had a great time with the stars in the field
a couple of weeks ago by the way Dallas also tied with Chicago that's a three-way tie for almost
out of the cellar they're all six points behind Nashville and Winnipeg who are tied and they are
four points behind the St. Louis Blues in the Pacific division the Arizona coyotes I cannot get

you don't know who's in first place you'll probably be very surprised who's on a five game win

they may have learned a lesson from the Roman Reigns thing because if you noticed when Bauer got
back up they didn't automatically put him right back on the title picture like they did with Roman
they're kind of taking their time with him which may benefit him in the long run
I just Bauer Lezner didn't make any sense to me when I hurried originally even even if you do

um they made they need to fix my canalus as jacket they need to fix because the picture of
maria on the back of the jacket made her look cross-eyed and it was very distracting to me
and this is something that's even I talked about yesterday if you're trying to establish
separate brands don't do the exact same storyline on raw page shows up with the blonde pretty

this film we didn't do an iTunes exclusive for it because i saw it after it opened thank you
Alex were enabling me to do that this movie is not bad it's fun it's not great it has its flaws
let's be real it has its flaws and that's okay but this is a fun movie that i enjoyed going to
and i will see again end of statement it's like you know i you know how much i hate it that man's
superman okay and we made my top ten list of the worst day of every's at the end of time and i
was like well while those people who thought this was just horrible but on this film i could see why
some people hated it but i didn't hate it it was fun yeah i'm joy of it i can see my concern
oh real quick the budget on wonder was 20 million oh so they're doing there okay um
my my issues with aquaman were actually quelled by this film i think they showed the wrong scenes
of him in the trailer i had a pound and a half pretzel that is not an exaggeration the bavarian
legend i'm not kidding you this is a brand new item at the amc theaters they want to cut us a
check that's great this pretzel is a pound and a half and it comes on a box that looks like it's
a medium pizza just give him a cheese sauce i couldn't a cheese sauce and mustard so when i'm
like carves again yeah when i'm allowed carves again i'm a so good but how much is this it's $15
i will be looking forward to night if i finish the pretzel 15 yeah i'm gonna tell you i'd
give him a third of it i've really got pretzel it was delicious it is amazing pretzel like you
could you could kill a mule with this pretzel i'm not kidding without trying yeah no i wouldn't
kill a mule i'm not saying you'd want to i'm saying you could it's a turn of phrase but this is a
good movie i'm here anybody says it's good fun and cocoa does win the weekend we like to call it

because i think that was one thing that dawn said that it seemed a real high budget i think

International Film Festival this year i did not get to see it there but uh the promotions
company sent me a screener link and i watched it this week so you'll be seeing my review coming up
tomorrow night on our website also a movie called wonder wheel that i'm going to miss the screening
uh that i'm really bummed because i really want to see this it looks really really interesting

in this interesting coney island in the fifties the life i lifeguard tells the story of a middle-aged
carousel operator and his beleaguered wife this is one of those multiple things overlapping each

cassela uh david cumholts robert c Kirk i'm sorry david crumbholtz i got that wrong i apologize
toni cerrico is in this steve charippa because it's new jersey they're going to be in it
bobby slayton the killer is in this uh so debi mezar also in this uh from well it's woody
allen so take it for what you're paying for it but it doesn't really look interesting and anything
with debi mezar is at least got some plus yes uh let's see also 24 hours to live

that was shown at the Dallas uh international film festival with peter dinklage called re-memory
dvd the widow of a wise professor stumbles upon one of his inventions that's able to record and
play a person's memory that comes out this week i've heard really really good things about
this martin donovan also in that as well and anton yelchin acts of vengeance it's a romantic comedy
but you know actually it could be in this day but this has antonio bandettus welcome to the how do you
say yes show one of my favorite sketches you ever see that with chris katana playing antonio band
eras and his yes his his yes is jennifer love hewitt oh he says these things what are their names
and she's like what he was like she's actually she did not wake them they're sweet they're sleeping
like two cute little publey things it's so terrible but active vengeance a fast-talking lawyer transforms
his body and takes a vow of silence not to be broken until he finds out who killed his wife and
daughter and has his revenge you know world god i really hope this is a harkening of the

steven any reports for tech corner this week because i don't have anything nothing it's it's
surprising that it's this slow time of a year for tech talk because you think everything the only
thing i saw recently that made me interesting was uh they have added the teenage mutant ninja turtle
to the roster for injustice too i saw that little uh teaser trailer that's all i got which is
interesting since that was inspired by a marvel product yeah which i didn't realize until recently
i think jim upton's related to cater okay very very careful all right so let's get to the list and
tonight's list is going to be interesting because this is a list that none of you will see coming
you said that last time this is another one of those great these are
10 obscure guests that i would like to have on the show
because you can't say Brittany Palmer because that's a given you can't say staying because that's a
given you can't say McAfee because that's a given although we'd have to expose the time that show
you can't say Kevin Smith because that's a given so here's some people some of them you will know
some of them you will not but there's specific reason these and this isn't really in no specific
order just as they came to me uh number 10 she's about 20 feet away from us right now
and she's never done the show you know what the point is as much as my wife that's true but that
doesn't mean she's been on the show okay no no faith faith has her beat on that one no they've been
on about the same amount of times true that's fair literally some one of these days some like
unlocked or was the episode number one of these days the lovely and talented Mrs. Irvin will
sit in the studio now Jesus may come back right in the middle of it we don't know or it's just some
guy named Jesus but you know uh number nine a gentleman by the name of Jeff Ayers he it's weird
that I call him by his first name he was my high school man director I would love to do a spotlight
episode with him just because he is one of the if I had to make five people that influenced me to
be the man that I am he is on that list so Mr. Ayers if you're listening first of all thanks um second
of all you come to Dallas I'll come to Michigan I don't care what we have to do I would love to sit
down for 60 to 90 minutes and just let you tell stories hopefully none of them about me some of
them that he might tell about me might have statute of limitations we don't know yet but I would
love to just have him on the show because he's such an amazing human and he literally influenced
an entire generation of teenagers in the Quad City area that a lot of us are still friends to this day
because of the experience he gave us in our band in our band years so I'm putting it out there
if I don't put it out there to the universe it can't happen I'm just saying uh let's see
number eight Max Kellerman I would love to sit down with Max Kellerman because number one
I mean I've been a huge fan of this man even before around the horn when he was doing boxing
for HBO and for ESPN this guy is a plethora of knowledge there are two boxing announcers that I have
the utmost of respect for because of their knowledge he is one Jim Lampley's the other
Jim Lampley is a guy that knows everything about everything and I don't know how like I've seen
him on shows I'm like this dude really knows his stuff I've always loved Max Kellerman his work
on around the horn I thought was stellar uh especially when you had the disembodied voice
yeah I missed the disembodied voice one of my favorites was disembodied voice it was it it was the
night after the VMAs with the whole Christie bris uh Brittany Christina Madonna thing yeah
he said did you see Brittany last night the disembodied spell says yeah but she didn't stay the night
so I was like hi oh um number seven Kevin Conroy
he is the voice of Batman he is Batman I've heard him on podcast if you've if you ever want to hear
a great set of stories I I want to say he's done fat man on Batman twice um listen to those
episodes con Kevin Conroy that man is Batman and when you see him you're like did not see that in
my head I would love this to just look I would just love to just sit here and just hit record
and go dude talk just tell stories because you have a million of them uh number six Bart Miller
who is the lead singer of Mercy Me I'm a big fan of Mercy Me and that dude is hilarious
and he tells great stories uh one of my favorite stories that he told recently was when they
released welcome to the new which is their album before their latest one uh it's so different
in a good way and he said basically what we did is we wrote a song and if it sounded like anything
we've done in the last five years we pitched it and started over and it actually worked because a
lot of bands they do that and it does not work well for them it works uh number five Bob
Kavoyan you know I've got to have a Bob and Tom referencing here somewhere Bob Kavoyan
I miss him so much on that show because he he was the perfect balance to Tom Griswald
the show's still great I still listen every day but Bob he's just one of those guys like Bob
is known he always wears look at that Tom they just unveiled that the Pittsburgh Hall of Honor
I really like that got some to look at when you go up there um Bob always wears a Dodgers hat
all the time never without it well when he married his lovely wife Becky she told him he could not
wear the hat to the wedding so what happened was he got to the altar turned around everybody in
the entire church was wearing Dodgers hats which I thought was great and I would love to hear
and they actually have a podcast themselves because they have an air stream and they just travel
the country because Bob retired so it's called Junebug Journeys they don't do them very often
but just to hear Bob's voice it's worth it for me uh number four I would love to have Tara
strong on the show if there is a female voice in an animated series that you watch it's her
she did power puff girls she is the current voice of Harley Quinn after our lean sorkin kind of
gave the mantle up she is the voice of I want to say she's raven on Teen Titans
Stephen do I have that right probably okay and she's she's she's amazing on social media
number three John Feinstein he is the guy that wrote a season on the brink about uh Bob Knight
he is a he's a sports writer who is in a great interview I've heard him a bunch of times I'd love
to have him on the show number two if you didn't see this coming then you weren't paying attention
Darius Rucker I want him on the show Don make this happen okay Darius Rucker write it down
he's that one guy I will I will throw something at you and number one just because
god it's Darius Rucker just for the one line of the dolphins make me cry no I've been a fan of
hoody since the first time I heard hold my hand in 1994 I saw him on that tour in Bozeman Montana
I saw the what's broken I I saw them at taste Addison with an unknown the fray opening for him
what yeah for them because it was a hoody tour um I'm such a fan and I think he would just be
an absolute joy to have in studio number one and this is actually if we could get this guy on the
show we might just have to shut it down he is a high quality human being he gets it he actually
shouted out to friend of the show Devon Pike recently on social media we missed him by a day
a couple of weeks ago I still want the vigilante club t-shirt Steven Amel he seems like a guy
that you would have in studio and he would be it wouldn't be like you're having Oliver queen on
the show like you would just be having a dude that people know on the show like he just seems like
he would be that guy well he gets it yeah he does get it he gets celebrity it's very rare that I see
him post something on social media that doesn't give me a smile he's just that guy and to have him come
just like it wouldn't even have to be a spotlight episode I'm sure he would just come in and do
the show like we're doing now um maybe we'll get lucky and we'll get him at a Dallas International Film
Festival and ball festival there's now the adage of undefeated wrestler that's right he's two and
oh both of them against the same guy technically uh in different points of his career actually I think
one was against and one was part of a team right with him so that's the list anybody that you
guys have on your on your wish list I want Mark Hawkman define he is the afternoon radio host for
Hawkman and Crowder on the w on wq a m wq a m baby Westple Beach oh I want Mark Hawkman I almost said
Hank Greenberg because that you think you look like a guy that's got stories that dude's got
stories like he is the norm hits kiss of South Florida like he's been like he's gonna ESPN like
you know I would love to see I'm gonna look at Steven when I say this I would love to have him
and norm in a studio and just let them talk horses because there and you will not find two bigger
people that know the horses on this planet than those two oh man done I got about well this
getting longer than with a fantastic faith forward like you but um with concerning wives but um
there's three okay first who's my boy in ROH don't guess he would be a great interview I think
that would be I don't know if I'd want him on the full blown show but as a spotlight episode it would
be amazing I mean just to get like we've something to do for something to get a 20-minute interview oh
I think that would be great yeah just as especially if we got him in character see I'd want I'd
want him I'd want him just to be him because I would like to know that side the non-ROH time
obscure one because like if I want to say Ricky Williams but I mean everyone knows I love him
but see everyone and Ricky Williams I think would be another good spotlight episode too wait
he would be his personality would be okay what else two who's my favorite actress would he think
about it I would have to lock you out of the studio if we had her in here because you would lose
your mind here nightly I know no no no of course that but no my favorite actress when you think
about oh your favorite actor though he's got big here nightly is his pretty Palmer yeah I really
don't know her initials are mm and she actually won the Emmy she's a long time actress she's
she Marley Matt one Margo oh Margo Martin Dale big fan that was a great cat I'm not gonna lie to
you that's an excellent choice sir and John Goodman John I was great I've heard he's a great
interview because he's like my one my all-time favorite actress you know it's like when you had
you know Glenn on the show and you're like if I got Margo or or or or John Goodman on that's
the way I would be honestly Green Bay just scored by the way and mine won't surprise anybody
but Linda Carter she would be in that would be that would have to be a spotlight interview where I
just go hey talk about your stuff and just let her go and let her sing because she's the
most people don't realize that she's a jazz singer we can we can make that happen that would be
we have a technology that would be my one more possible feasible would be Ming Chen would love
to have Ming on the show and I think if we caught Ming in town he would do the show because Ming's
that guy or he'd at least do a liner for us yeah I would love for Ming to do it he was just uh
some friends of the show just spent some time with him Brian Emily got to see him out of hockey him
and and Muse and and all the comic book men actually when the local story Brian Krueger the critic
he always talked about doing the show I'd like to do yeah Brian get your butt in the studio son
there's no reason you live like you don't we live with stones throw from this studio there's no
reason you can't come in here and do this show because he's such a great friend of the show we're big
fans of him absolutely anybody else you guys want to throw out there because you don't say to the
universe it ain't gonna happen you know what I just for the local fair and having this blindsided
I can think of a few off the top of my head I think Heyman would be a ton of fun that's something
you'd have to expose the tag yeah if you've ever heard go back and listen to his first
the first episode he did with on Austin's podcast you want to talk about a guy that like
fell into the business yeah what a great story he has we use a photographer and somebody
was like you need to go be a manager almost literally having that but the idea of anybody who was
in that vortex of anything they get sucked in uh that 92 to 2000 pocket of wrestling yes uh in
that same vein Jericho would be really fun uh somebody and I know this is kind of off the wall but
like Tobalowski Steven Tobalowski would be big fan great big fan you know he's another one
of that guy that thing guys yeah yeah nobody knows his name except for like a select few but you
everybody has seen him in something I always go back to Groundhog Day yes Phil you know
Milto's would be fun too okay if we could get him I say if we you're gonna put it out there
to the universe he's I'm sorry Milto's oh okay I know you're mean though you know the one I
want to put in my pocket and carry around everywhere because he's so it's for those who don't know
him by the name it is cereal for real yeah but I thought we fun we just threw that around a little bit
tonight as we get prepared for the home stretch of the year you can believe that which also means
we're almost at the halfway point of season eight so we also forgot to talk about um why we're
gonna take the week off on January 14th before I forgets you've asked some of you
and we have responded January 14th the profit bar deep elm grace descending I booked it today
so we will we will give you more details as details warrant I know that right now tickets will be
$12 in advance 15 at the door if you can buy a physical ticket from me I can sell you them for
$10 it'll be it's the day before Martin Luther King Day so I actually have that day off at work
so we'll be playing down there it's gonna probably be about a 30 minute set so if you got to work
on Monday we're not gonna keep you there any later than we have to the boys are all ready to go
we're rehearsing some new material that we haven't played yet so hopefully you might have a couple
in a couple of new songs to throw out to you that are original so be ready for that what time
isch might you start don't know yet that's one of the details that has to be ironed out it will
depend on how many tickets we sell if we can sell at least 15 tickets we can pick our spot
which I think we can do so I can buy a ticket from you so we'll give you more details as they
award I'm hoping to have the details completely locked down by the end of this week but it's
happening don't I'm sorry I want to say something okay I'll probably get the fantastic
faith fourth I would love to have her come out yeah you know it's it's to it's grace d2.0
and you know 60% of us have been in the band for a while and we've got a couple of new guys that
are really really good it's it's gonna be a lot of fun you never answered the question about
