Never watched an episode But you get the bit right No, it's a zombie show I kind of figured it's much So I've heard good things I'm just not a zombie Show guy Anybody of note in it Or is it just he don't remember off hand I know it's a sci-fi show So I got that for you So We get this interesting news about midweek There's a new Star Trek series coming in 2017 Back to the CBS network Kind of Yeah They're going to play the premier episode Which is going to be an all new cast And that's all we know They haven't given out any details But the first episode will We'll air on your local CBS affiliate But after that it's going to go to CBS all access Which you think you're self well it's there You know it's their website thing That's whatever But it's the only one of the four major networks that wants you to pay for the service So I ask you Gutsy or gutless Gutless Thank you Like HBO go I get that That's already a preview of service Right You're going to force people You're going to hook them in with the premier episode I don't think you will Which you're going to try real hard Oh yeah you're going to attempt to hook them And then have the audacity to expect them to pay for it to watch the rest That's that's just crap That's just a gutless I couldn't believe it when I read about this I mean there's a lot of time between now and then That they might Change some things Hmm Because a lot of people like I've talked to some people that have cut the cord Cut the cable I can't do it I can't imagine you were ever doing it I mean When you do the math If you add up what each thing costs It's not worth it No You're spinning about as much You're just not spinning as much in one place It just doesn't It doesn't do anything for me It might feel liberating But it's really not liberating It's really nothing You know So there's that Interesting news Coming from some friends of the show There will be a greatest American hero pilot Developed at Fox Bring in that back One of my favorite shows I love this show William Catback in the day Friends of the show You say Lord Miller doing it No I doubt that they would probably be able to pick us out of a line up But I'm calling I'm calling them friends I'm rounding it friends of the show They got drunk with us Although we were drinking If you hijacked our show for 30 minutes You are a friend of the show Speaking of friends of the show Ain't a cool of carry no Harry Knows Daybude Ain't a cool with Harry Knows Daybude yesterday I don't have numbers on it yesterday But we hope you all checked it out At our local affiliate for those who are listening locally So we hope you were able to see that yesterday Uh Netflix Now we know that there's going to be a Power Rangers movie reboot Right Their Twitter feed has been Announcing over the last couple of weeks The people that they've cast in the roles And it's going to be based on the original Power Rangers Uh show Which didn't watch it then Not going to watch it now So 90s kids unite Yes Your dreams are coming But Netflix is going to be producing a new Power Rangers series for 2017 Netflix is getting aggressive They've been aggressive To me it's just getting bigger and bigger and bigger Like Netflix They've once they've figured out the formula They've just been full throttle They've been fearless about it I just hope it doesn't jack up my rates Because that's really going to make me mad Well, I mean it's been fairly obvious that they've been going up Little by little Once they separated both plans and You know physical discs and streaming only I know that you're not currently subscribing to Netflix But what would be your ceiling To pay for a streaming To pay for Netflix Netflix specifically Ten bucks a month But we pay a lot more than that Do you? Well we have the physical discs too I think we're going to return what we've got and drop it back Because we just don't There's not a point to it really There really isn't So I got to figure out what that's going to do To our rate Because I need to look at that at some point I hope I cut it by about five, six bucks Well wait man, how many discs Can you have out at any given three Yeah, you're so you've got the You're going to make a plan Yeah, you've got the top two Uh, sci-fi We talked about them earlier They're doing a female van Helsing series With Neil LeBoot is your showrunner He's going to focus on his daughter Vanessa Who's Neil LeBoot? No I don't want to talk about that Uh I want to talk about something that Is a good and a bad And it is the Disney acting machine Oh god If you know any if you have any form of a Disney channel Because when we were kids A Disney channel was like a premium channel And it was expensive I know we didn't have it Yeah Because I want to say Well, I don't know if it was more expensive than HBO Yeah, I thought it was like two bucks less No, it was more Because I was the one that was pitching it to my parents I was trying to get it to And they were like, uh, sorry They bought it I got the Captain E.O. digital watch out of it To, it is a matter of fact But it seems like Disney has this thing Where they create these shows And they have these kids And they make these kids into superstars And then they let them go It's kind of like a manudo thing You get a certain age and then you're kind of out there on your own But it seems like more often than not They either disappear into obscurity Or there's just a meltdown Gee, who could you be referring to here The list is long and distinguishes Well, the most prominent two I think you're going to mince The low hand The low hand I don't know who else you're talking about The Cyrus The Cyrus You could talk about the demilivato Who had her deal It's the lean of Gomez Who... I mean, she got Bieber stink all over But I mean, it's just weird I mean, for every Justin Timberlake You have a Britney Spears Good analogy You know what I mean?

Yeah For those of you that don't know Google it The list of kids that have come out of the Disney machine We just named five of them Christina Aguilera Who has a walking, talking, breathing, emotional roller coaster She's an estrogen Molotov cocktail They have fired her publicist After her first kid was born Because not enough people bought the copy of people magazine She was on the cover of with it Because that's the publicist's fault Um What causes this? Again, something that you brought up many, many moons ago Something about people needing a fame counselor Agreed I really do think that once these kids get handed So much, it's such an early age Their brain doesn't know how to process it Well, and I am also of the firm belief That there ought to be some kind of a law That says as a child actor Your parents are not allowed to manage you Yeah Because I think there's a conflict of interest there Well, and it's not only a conflict of interest It's a lack of experience Mm-hmm Oh, I'm going to manage your career We've never even managed an RB What makes you think you can manage millions of dollars What makes you qualified to do something of that No, on that scale You know, and you have like McColley Kolkin Who was not part of the Disney machine But he had to emancipate from his parents Because of all the money he was losing Because his parents couldn't manage it And then you've got somebody like Like the really tragic tale of Bobby Driscoll Uh, who basically This kid was the voice of Peter Pan Uh-huh, he was in the original Disney presentation of Treasure Island Uh, he was in Song of the South That movie that nobody talks about Because it doesn't exist I don't know if you have it on my surface Um, and he died broke and buried in a popper's grave Mm-hmm I mean, I really think that they should make a movie about this kid's life As a cautionary thing I'm not saying this, no, I'm not saying Disney would make it But as a cautionary tale of this is how bad it can get I mean he died in his 30s I think 31 Yeah, wow, died at the age of 31 In March of 68 And And And I don't, it's just weird because They crank out these shows Mm-hmm And of course, you know, you and I are at the age now That half of these ones that people refer to Even in the 90s I don't know what they're talking about But there's just so many of these kids You know, there's a, there was one of the, the girls that was on The Mickey Mouse Club that I had a huge crush on back in the day The Mickey Mouse Club produced that Mickey Mouse Club Produced a I wouldn't call it a kid ban Because they were all late teens by this point But it was called the party Huge fan That a couple of pretty good hits They actually did a cover of Dawkins in my dreams Really? Wow, allow me to pull this up for you sir Just a kid's ban covering anything that Dawkin did It just, it just flows me for a loop I've always liked that song And here it is, I'm going to play this for you And it's not bad, check this out It's kind of a different take on It sounds like I want to know what you're, tell me what's on your mind But what was that same time?

It was that same air It would surprise you They had a hand in producing it This was 91 Yeah, that's around that time It's not bad It's not bad I think there's a reason I have it in my pocket It's enjoyable But there was two guys and two girls And the girl that I had a huge crush on Just We got real deep into drugs and stuff When this whole thing failed Because they did like two albums they were done Neither one of them were huge But of course you know Disney's just gonna shut it down your throat until it's done Yeah But it's just, and I agree that The fame counselor I talked about in that slide It wouldn't hurt Disney to have somebody like that on staff Wouldn't hurt heck it ought to be a requirement Yeah, if you do something more than just your parents being your handler Every studio should have one If you are contract it to them If you're under 18 or something I would even say under 25 Because the fame counselor thing If they do that in the NCAA You're 21-22 before you go to the pros Yeah, good point It's just so weird to see some of these kids that All the town in the world And They're Disney career folds And It's either a story of redemption or a story of tragedy Mm-hmm Just you just watch them go further and further down the drain You just watch them circle it for years and years and years And then it finally just comes to a screeching halt And the worst possible scenario And I've always thought it's interesting too You know, we talk a lot about sci-fi conventions and whatnot And we've always, I've always said If you're in a Media crew sci-fi series you can live the rest of your life On the convention circuit Not kind of not the same with this deal Why if you're somebody who was on the sweet life with Zack and Cody And that you weren't one of the two of them Who are the twins from Big Daddy? Why couldn't you Watch on to some kind of a Convention circuit I thought something horrible happened to one of them too And that I don't know, I can't verify that I thought that one of the most Yeah, I thought that one of those kids is no longer with us I know that like No, I would disagree with that. You might want to look that up Yeah, you see that that or The twins that we're in everybody that's ramen is probably those But I just, I don't know It's weird to me Because if you're Disney, why wouldn't you want to walk some of these kids up long-term Help foster them into more of an adult career Because it's not like Disney doesn't make adult film I'm not a adult film, but more maturely oriented film Right, touched on You know I don't know, I guess the way they look at it is that they would rather just go with More marketable names to adult audiences Rather than parlaying these Yeah, but kids that have now grown up To me, you could almost they could just follow them up You know what I mean?

I think it'd be a really hard sell on the average movie guard That they want to see Clooney in tomorrow land They don't want to see it grown up Zach Afron in tomorrow land Well, no, I see where you're going there But It's that whole thing about You know, let's hold this new like with boy bands You got backstreet boys tour in every summer And they're selling out places like the American Airlines Center Here in Dallas, it holds about 20,000 people Which will never cease to amaze me This dial just a beautiful thing sir Like I said, what's old is new Yeah, I'm a huge fan of nostalgia I'm a sucker for it. It's and it's just weird that That Disney's not doing that with their actors I don't know, it's just weird to me I don't know, either that or just They may get lured away from the Disney machine With promises of bigger and better things And they don't stick around I'm watching something on the TV here in the studio And I'm a little perplexed Is this this week? Yeah, this this week's black list Is their fall finale Also they're breaking for the for the holidays in the second week of November Hmm I mean, it's good for me because that means I could maybe watch SmackDown again Because for the second week in row, I'm not going to get SmackDown Because I got too much going on Thursday at seven central But Wow It's not like they started in July That's not even eight episodes sir But does seem kind of odd Very confused by this Alright shall we move on?

Because I saw this morning and was like are you kidding?

I can't believe that It just seems like things are just getting weirder and weirder and weirder With this whole bed You had a You had a a frat at a college this past week who was Who had a quote unquote all white party Which has raised a lot of iron and this is the same fraternity that got in trouble last year They're Oklahoma chapter with the chant on the bus if you remember this Yes, same fraternity Oh God So Some things are getting brought into light and I think that Social media has everything to do with it You know if you think you're getting away with something Social media is going to find it Just so you know You think you think that social media is going to be your best friend on things like No Like the college experience It will bring the darkness into light And speaking of that let's just go ahead and get into a very strange week in college football Of course the Wednesday night game this past week Bowling green over the University of Ohio 62 to 24 Of course you have to give a shout out to Mikey school everyone Again Arkansas state over Appalachian state 40 to 27 on Thursday Baylor with their new quarterback because of course their their Star quarterback out for the season Their true freshman quarterback day squeak one out against Kansas state 31 to 24 Baylor number six in the country Mississippi state number 20 over the aforementioned Mizu 31 to 13 Friday night temple gets a big win over SMU sucks to have the under As number 22 wins 60 to 40 It's called defense Somebody forgot to bring their defensive playbook my University of Florida Gators what happened yesterday Number 10 in the country Got a little squirrely against Vanderbilt at homecoming really as they win nine to seven sir. Oh dear. Yeah, this was weird I was getting scoring updates going what are we doing But they won Wouldn't pretty but they but in winning yesterday They have officially sealed up the SEC east a team that everybody thought would come in five out of six Win the division good, so very excited for my boys Let's see Duke loses again to North Carolina 66 to 31 You know that's how that rivalry started wasn't football, right?

I guess was at the game and they couldn't believe Arkansas had won that game Uh number eight TCU gets challenged by number 14 Oklahoma State 29 to 29 Air Force over army twenty to three because we always like to cover the the service universities Number twenty five Houston beat Cincinnati by a field goal so they're still holding on to their ranking New Mexico State over Texas State by ten ten a C beats South Carolina by a field goal and in the sucks to have the over game Connecticut over two lane in a barn burner seven to three Hope you thought you know those number twenty three goes to a UCLA goes to Oregon State and shuts them out in their own house forty one to nine Oklahoma fifty two to sixteen over Iowa State Oklahoma goes to bailer this week That's where college game day is going to be you better believe that sir That may be one I may be sitting down and tuning in for number seven Michigan State loses to Nebraska unranked So every all you people that were lining about Michigan State getting shut out of the top four look what happened to you Navy beats Memphis ranked number 13 45 to 20 so congratulations to your boys there sir Number 19 Texas A&M loses the Auburn unranked twenty six to ten. Absolutely insanity. I was getting Notifications on my phone and I'm just going what what and people around here girl I would say something if you're roaming or like are you serious? I'm like look at my phone That I think you're having a psychotic episode.

It was it's just one of those weeks where you're just like what is going on here And then you've got to talk about you know, we talk about college football.
