Well, they better get the wheels on this thing.
Because something we're going to talk about a little bit later.
Because I want to put this out there for posterity is that somebody made a wager on a certain game that's coming up.
I made that wager.
That we don't know that.
I was witnessed too.
I'm going to talk about what I was witnessed too.

Brad keselowski in the number 2 Ford starts in the pole position winds up in 4th.
The man who the who the the chase is not named after chase Elliott starts in 9th winds up in 3rd and the number 24 Chevrolet.
So your top two finishers are both Toyotas.
Number 18 starting in 3 winding up in the silver metal Kyle Busch.
And Martin Truex Junior starts in 2nd winds up in 1st and number 78.
So that being said, let's go again and get you your updated standings because we are now down to the round of 12.
So out here's like here are the people who are out of the chase at this point.
Now in 16th completely out is Chris Busher.
15th dropping one is Jamie McMurray. Kyle Larson drops 2.
So he loses the 12th spot today.
And the guy that's up to but unfortunately he finishes in 13th and doesn't make the next round.
It's a guy they like to call smoke really.
Yep.
So the new sheriff in town Austin Dylan kind of bumps himself up into the 12th spot.
6 times 6 times 6 times 6 times 6 times 6 times 6 times Spring Cup champion Jimmy Johnson drops 3 places to 11 but stays in the chase.
Kyle backflip Edward stays at 10.
Denny Hamwin drops 2 to 9.
Kurt Busch jumps 3 to 8.
Brad Kezalowski who last week led the chase drops 6 places this week to 7.
Chase Elliott up 3 to 6.
Joey Lagano stays in 5th Matt Kenseth stays in 4th Kyle Busch stays in 3rd Kevin Harvey jumps 4 spots.
To get to 2nd place and then Martin Truex Jr now leads the chase.
But let's all be sure about something here.
Remember how this works.
Now that we're into the 2nd round of the chase we're down to 12 drivers point totals reset.
You do that every round because it's going to make it easier and more challenging for everybody.
So we have 3 races in the round of 12 and we're going to go ahead and give all of them to you now because next week we're going to be doing WWE.
So we're not going to be talking about NASCAR and then we're going to be into the final stage of the round of 12.
Next week it's a night race on Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway the Bank of America 500.
Okay so that'll be next week's race.
Then Sunday October 16th at 2 p. 2 15 eastern all these two races will be on NBC proper.
The Hollywood casino 400 in Kansas.
And then the last race in the round of 12 at the Talladega super speedway on NBCSN.
Sunday October 23rd at 2 o'clock eastern Talladega.
Probably not a real creative name for the Alabama 500.
Oh, man.
Because that's where Talladega is.
Those are your three races for the round of 12.
Again, I like the way that they're doing this but there's still some other things I would do differently but it's better than what we had.
Which was just the points went all the way through the season.
It was very confusing and it was like a dude could finish 20 if the final race is still when the cup been.
We've talked that nausea on the show about how I would fix it but Lord knows nobody wants to give me the book of the checkbook for a year.
So we got that going for us.

So we're going to get right into TV headlines.

I know the gist of what's going on.
And it's intriguing.
I just can't take on any more shows.
I haven't DBR.

It's getting excellent reviews.
And it's got a full season.
ABC has given full seasons to both speechless the new mini driver show.
As well as designated survivor.
My wife is watching the designated survivor with the key for Sutherland.
She very much enjoys it.
I got the first one in having got to that either.
So, FX has given full season to John Singleton Snowfall.
I don't know how much you know about this.
Nothing.
It basically takes place against the backdrop of the Cracket but academic in the 80s.
Oh God.
And it's John Singleton.
So, FX.

So much demand for it.
It caused Netflix outages this weekend.
They're not saying that's what did it.
But it's the only thing they dropped.
Well, so think about it.
You've got.
I mean, it's Marvel is doing amazing things on Netflix folks.
For those of you that are not on board this crazy train.
Start listening.
I start watching after you finish the show.
Yeah.
If you have even a passing interest in the in the Marvel cinematic expanded,
whatever, however, you want to refer to it universe.
The things they are doing on Netflix are.
Almost.
I watched all of season one of Daredevil.
I'm about halfway through Jessica Jones.
So I have to finish Jessica Jones get through Daredevil season two and then Luke Cage.
Right.
But everything I've liked I've enjoyed.
Yeah.
And it's everything I've liked.
Everything I've watched I've enjoyed.
And it only it's only going from where they're going.
I mean, this is just a jump off point.
Next year is going to be a banner year for that for that label.
I mean, you talk not just that.
You I've seen all but the last thing about house cards.
Orange is the new black.
Those are incredible series.
Yeah.
Netflix is doing it well.
But it was one of those things where when I first heard about it,
I'm like, really, we're going to do Marvel stuff on Netflix.
And then once I saw Daredevil, I'm like, okay.
Yeah.
Run with it.
And I know that there's been speculation that something similar might happen.
And Netflix whenever Justin Timberlake does this concert special in a couple of weeks.
I can't wait for that.
But I think I've got that listed later.
But I'm like, well, it may not cause the massive outages because you've got people
that are binging 13 hours worth of content versus two.
Simultaneously versus a live event.
Maybe.
It's not a live event.

Preacher season one.
Kind of need to get done.
I enjoyed that.
A lot of people that have read the comics have been very, very critical of it.

And I could not be more excited if you haven't watched Into the Badlands.

But I don't quite you download their app and if where I work
There's not a convenient gastro when I'm leaving
Not a convenient gas station. They're just a gas station. Okay, so with boost if I forget to get gas on the way in
I put a GPS pin where my cars parked and they will come and fill my gas tank up for me in the parking lot at work for a
Pretty much comparable price to what I would pay at like a 711 or Valera Wow
So it's got my plane mall price for gas, but no, but you're not paying mall price
Regular on Friday was two bucks
That's not bad at all, but there's no mid grade. It's regular or super
But they give you notice like you picked the window you can say you can come any time between eight and four
You can say eight to noon 12 to four they will send you notifications as to when they're on their way or when it's done
And it's an app on your phone and you're just paying for the gas
Not paying for a service charge. No really my boss tried it out this week and said it worked like a charm

Plus with the advent of certain kitchen tech like so-to-stream and curing and stuff like that to where you've got

Beastro level food for somebody that could probably barely boil water in a lot of cases
It's made it a lot easier for people to get stuff like like stuff like blue apron
Yes, which I think is a genius concept for those who don't believe blue apron is
They deliver you all the ingredients for a meal already portioned out and you just put them together and make the meal yourself
And it is highly popular and doing very well. Yeah, and we're talking stuff like beef wellington

How many people do you know have a laptop?
The short of list of some people I don't exactly have a desktop. I have a laptop. It's for work
They own it the state owns it, but most people that I know have laptops like myself
I have it's also affected your your come your jobs, too. Yes. That's what it means. Yeah, tell a commute now
That you know have the opportunity that that can work from home instead of being an office or you know
I live in Omaha my boss lives in Jersey
That's a thing now. Yeah, that people don't have to relocate as much the fact that telecommuting is even a thing is it just speaks volumes to me of how much
Computers have affected
And changed and evolved over the course of the last 10 20 years. Absolutely
But that's the list all right, and then you want to add down I think the biggest one besides PC is probably smartphones
And you know why the camera oh yeah people are filming movies on the thing yeah, but I'm just saying that
You look at how it changed society literally
Because let's just talk about Rodney King that was so big because it's the first time caught on camera
Something like that and nobody really had a handheld it was just that's per the moment now
Everybody has one on their phone. Yeah, I mean anything can be filmed
So many times yeah, and goes viral quick. And I just I tend that people being filmed don't even realize yes
As we had recently with a beauty queen who filmed somebody at a gym and
I'm putting it on snapchat oops. Yeah, so speaking of snapchat
I want to say that there was a horror film that was done fairly recently where it was
