of the year, it is also WrestleMania Sunday.
We are live at Fox and Hamlet Richardson's Texas for our third show in three days, but
I think we can pretty show, we welcome each and every one of you, we don't care how
you listen.
We're just glad that you're here.
My name is Robin, it's time for the big one.
We are 56 minutes away from the showcase of the Immortals, the 30th one.
Joining me to my right is he normally does across the desk, but we're on the same side of the
table tonight.
He's a man that has seen a lot of things this weekend, and he's willing to talk about
all of them.
Maybe on a later show, he is chatting, and I just want to say one thing, I also love this
for teasing others.
We're going to talk about that here in just a moment.

Normally, our show is all things sports in entertainment, but tonight we are wrestling
intensive, because it is the pre-show for WrestleMania 30.
We're going to go over the week that was in our sport with some headlines talking about
the show themselves a little bit.
We're going to run the card, we're going to grate the card as we get ready for the
showcase of the Immortals, and we hope you're getting ready as well.
Remember, Fox and Halloween, which is in Texas, five bucks get you in the door?
I mean, we're what?
Fifty-five minutes away, and there's already people filling up the rooms.
If you think you're going to get here right from the paper view starts, and you're going
to be able to find a seat, I would say good luck with all that.
So let's start by talking about some headlines.
We've talked on this show for a while about the locations for the next two WrestleMania's.
Sources are saying you will get the official word on WrestleMania 31 tonight that will
be at the new Levi Stadium, or the San Francisco 49ers will be playing.
I will be next year, and WrestleMania 32 to be announced in the fall, which we are told
is all that done, and it will be an Arlington Texas at AT&T Stadium.
So, but they won't call it that, they'll call it George Texas.
Yeah, they'll probably call it North Texas or Dallas Fort Worth, like T&A is doing, because
apparently Arlington doesn't exist on anybody's map, but you know what, they always, you
know, announce WrestleMania, the next year, the date, the key to every WrestleMania
every year during the show.
So, that's in San Francisco as a given, you know.
We've also been told that the RAW after WrestleMania 31 will actually be in Santa Clara,
because that's where the bigger arena is, close to that stadium, but you'll get all
that information I'm sure as the night goes on.
A lot of, a lot of will they won't they, going on, on multiple fronts, with this next
individual, first of all, will we hear this song tonight?
There are conflicting reports, whether or not CM Punk is in New Orleans, we know he was
at an against-me concert, we know he was at a black-hawks game, I'm hoping, I'm hoping, man,
I really truly am.
Some of our, some members of the Empire are in New Orleans for WrestleMania 30, I was
talking via text with Misty last night, she's saying all indications that she's
receiving is that punk is staying at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, where the rest
of the Superstars are.
Also conflicting reports, because it happened on April Fool's Day, that AJ Lee and CM Punk
were engaged, that has been verified by a fan who was on a flight with her from Tampa,
to Chicago, showed him the ring and said to his flying to Chicago to move in with it.
So, congratulations to those kids, a lot of people are saying if he's in New Orleans,
he's in New Orleans, it's a support her.
Mazelop, that's the luck to, yeah, I mean, I would like to see the guy, a lot of super
stars that have been interviewed have said they believe he will be on the show tonight.
So, it's one of those things that if he does show up, who does the creative for trying
to keep a lid on that thing?
Never know.
I like Sting, the one thing we know is that it's for sure.
Yeah.

So a lot of people have been asking when it comes to Scott Hall of Fame last night.
I hope you guys got a chance to watch it.
I did Razor Ramon go in the Hall of Fame and not Scott Hall.
From what I am reading, and they're going to do the same thing with Kevin.
They're going to induct Scott Hall as Scott Hall when they induct the NWO.
So they inducted Razor Ramon by himself, and then it will be Scott Hall.
They're going to do the same thing with Kevin.
They're going to induct diesel, and then when they induct the NWO, it will be Kevin Nash.
Which there's logic there.
Yeah.
I did Rick's player, and then you inducted the poor horseman.
But how many of the NWO are they going to induct?
I mean, how many people are going to induct?
That seems to be the debate.
My personal feeling is that it's got to be the original three.
It's got to be Hall of Nation Hogan.
Because you're probably going to induct Waltman with DX.
Of course.
And I don't really want to live in a world where Sean Waltman has as many Hall of Famerings
as Rick Blair.
I'm just saying.
So it's one of those deals where I get it.
I get the logic.
And then if I personally this, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall with two Hall of Famerings,
I have no problem with that.
Oh, I mean, either.
It's done.
But it's just going to be a matter of when do you induct the NWO?
And not a bad show last night.
We're going to talk about the Hall of Fame itself.
Here in just a little while, because Chad did bring us 360 over to the house.
And we watched it via the network.
Network's still kind of glitchy.
So if you're relying on the network for WrestleMania, you may be
rolling the dice tonight.
Because this will be the first true test of the server load for the network.
Yeah, I'm thinking it overloaded.
Watch out.
That's why you should come here to Fox in hand.
Because you know, it's going to be on the TV's.
You know, we've been watching the pre-show now for a couple of hours.
It's the same thing over and over, but it builds up.
Ultimate Warrior also goes to the Hall of Fame last night.
He closed the show.
One thing I thought was kind of cool is the Hall of Famerings on the inside.
Have the name of the person inscribed on them.
But not for the ultimate warrior.
The inside and his ring is actually etched the shape of his face paint.
Oh, the face paint.
And it says always believe right next to it, which it looks really nice.
Just pictures of it online if you want to look it up.
It looks really nice.
But again, we're going to talk about that more later.
Just because I really don't have a lot to talk about when it comes to SmackDown.
So we're going to do Hall of Fame talk to the SmackDown.
Because you and I have talked on it.
That's the SmackDown before WrestleMania.
There's not much you can do with it because it is what it is.
It's what two matches two matches and the rest of it was from impact.
And then there were some big yets.
And I do want to talk about the big yets when we get to SmackDown.
Because they did something kind of cool on SmackDown.
That they also did during the Hall of Fame.
That Chad and I both thought was pretty cool.
And we're going to get to that here in a minute.
Let's talk about wrong.
We start to show with the Undertaker.
And when we find out isn't the reason WWE started wrong with the undertaker.
It was because it was going head to head with a series finale of how I met your mother.
So they were really trying to compete for those ratings.
Which you've been on the opposite them for years.
I don't understand why it's an issue now.
But that's why they started with the Undertaker.
Well, the question is how many people watch raw and actually watch that other show.
I will tell you that there are two people in my household and neither one of us watches them both.
So.
But Undertaker during his promo says,
it is inevitable that the streak will be broken.
No, no it won't be.
That's the honest.
It's just that simple.
The streak will not be broken.
There's only a couple of guys that I think will.
I neither one of them are wrestling tonight.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
I think you'll retire with the streak.
We've tacked whatever that day is.
And something we were thinking about as we were watching Triple H and Stephanie.
For the sake of Kate Babe, does anybody realize that they never got remarried on TV?
Does remember that they got divorced and then they were going to get remarried.
But that was when she was doing the fake pregnancy and Triple H,
figured it out, left her at the altar and we had that now famous photo of Stephanie with her.
Her claws out.

They always, they always splice in that roaring sound of fear.
I guess, you know, I remember that promo while back where she was talking relationship with the age
age, she goes, watch this 50 anniversary DVD of the, you know, the history of the WWE and actually
shows our real wedding footage.
So it's out there, you know, the real wedding Triple H stem.
And you know how I am with numbers,
especially chronologically putting Anniversary's in place, right?

I have, I have a fair amount of OCD and I'll be the first to say it.
However, somebody got it right and it's this man right here.
We had a special edition of Piper's Pit on Monday night and Piper actually acknowledged
that it was 29 years ago, Monday, not Piper is not the 30th anniversary of WrestleMania 30,
which means WrestleMania without a number was 29 years ago, not 30.
So thank you, Mr. Piper, for knowing how to do math.
Just Michael Cole would get it wrong.
He actually has said the 30th anniversary a couple of times.
Yeah.
And Chad's reaction is always due, just let it go.
You let it go with those.
When I see that logo from the 25th anniversary, I'm like,
no, it's just WrestleMania 25, it's not the 25th anniversary.
There was no WrestleMania zero.
But that was really all I got out of raw, that's just something else you guys want to talk about from it.
No, it was, it was a very disappointing go home show and overall.
But we always forget though that the go home show for WrestleMania is never as good as the raw after.
Oh, that's a given.
Yeah, but this was especially disappointing.
I mean, you got people from around the world that the crazy one said, you know, that's what I look forward to tomorrow night actually.
We definitely want to say our best to all of the members of the Empire that are in New Orleans this weekend.
Checked in with a few of them there having a blast jays down there.
Diane and Missy are down there a bunch of the guys are down there.
We hope they're being safe and they get home safely and have a great time tonight.
Missy said she and Diane and Diane's husband will be on camera side.
They're in the first level about in the middle.
So we're going to be looking for them tonight during the show.
She says you're going to try to take some pictures and send them down to it.
So we can see where she's watching the paper view from.
The gateway looks amazing. I don't know if you've seen it.
I haven't, yeah, it's just a fresh shot.
I showed it to Chad yesterday. It looks really, really nice.
It's pretty much how you would expect it though.
It's basically the logo bigger than the second WCW logo that look like the Goldberg tattoo.
Okay. It's kind of like that. That's top of bigger and it looks great.
And the WrestleMania Super Store, we saw some pictures of that.
Yeah, I saw that. Yeah, mercy that things huge. Access looked great.
I will say the one thing about access though, when we were watching SmackDown on Friday,
of course, they do the access things. In the exhibition hall,
there were banners for a bunch of the paper views.
And they actually had the banner on camera for Capitol punishment.
I thought that was kind of falsy.
Of course, paper view of all time.
It's still blows my mind that they have t-shirts for each individual match tonight.
If I could think I love about it, as I say, the store is free.
You can come down and shop, but you can't get access.
But I did think it was interesting because one of the websites, syscubes.com,
had a bunch of pictures from the store.
They are still selling CM Punk merchandise.
T-shirts, ring, buddies, the whole thing.
So, now the question is, Vince could be like,
Axel Rose and Alano, CM Punk shirts in?
But they're selling them at their store.
They're selling it in there, yeah.
Oh yeah, because it's money.
Real quick, a little bit of impact, talk.
AJ Styles has signed a contract with New Japan pro wrestling.
So, AJ, the clock is still picking some.
But he wants to go wrestling Japan for a while.
And as we're going to talk about Japan as it relates to impact,
which is really the only note I have from impact because impact again.
So, I got one, I got to bring it up.
Please do, sir.
You're the smartest man in life.
I've, you know, I was going to bring it up, but that's an issue.
We sent on this show a couple weeks ago with Abyss.
They're trying to turn him in the cane and I said,
where are they going to do?
Put him in a suit next?
What happened on impact?
This was wearing a suit.
With the cane.
So, I was listening to this show, dude, I'm telling you.
But the one thing I do have to say about impact,
and I don't know if you guys watched it.
If you watch the MVP Kenny King match,
I went back and watched it a second time because I really want to make sure I was
watching what I thought I was watching.
MVP's time in Japan did him a ton of good.
He wrestled in that match.
Like, he really worked.
Colts, he really worked and told the story in the match.
That was the most impressive match I've seen MVP wrestle in a long, long time.
So, Japan did him a lot of good.
So, respect to that.
I'd apparently next week, Dixie'll be back.
So, hooray.

But they have kind of gone back on an LA.

When they went to the only four paper views a year,
sacrifice was not on that list, correct?
But they are doing it as a paper view at the end of the month now.

So, I'm very excited if they're really going to bring him up to the main roster,
because that kid's got a ton of talent.
But I do miss the El Jenerico game, because it's one of my favorites of all time.

First and foremost, I learned that Lida is the godmother of Trisha's son.

His grandson had a matching touch.

And they brought him up on stage and Jake was saying how, um, he was like a pound and a hand.
He was definitely going to happen.

And now he's 18 months old and he's healthy.
He and sister have both had 10 surgeries of peace.
And he said, get ready for WrestleMania 50.
Because he'll be on the car.
Great speech by Jake as well.
Very heartfelt.
I was hard to listen to Jake with all that rasp in his voice because all the damage that
what he's done to himself over the years.
But, uh, DDP give a great intro for him.
I will say we found out last night that if your speech runs long.
WWE creative has a very strange way of making sure you realize it.
Because what we realized was, uh,
Brodus Clay apparently wrote Mr. T. speech.
Because it was a half an hour of him talking about his mama.
And about the 30 minute mark,
Caine's music hit.
And Caine came out in a Tuxedo and basically looked at Mr. T and
I'm not sure if I could read lips well enough or not.
But he told him it was time for him to go.
Because they tell him like, you would get like 15 minutes and the whites come on saying,
you got a wrap up time and stuff like that.
It was very, very awkward.
Barbar, put up a great, great message on Facebook.
What the hell does Mr. T's mama's barricost veins have to do with wrestling?
No, but he also says that that was the divas match of the hall of fame.
But it was kind of an interesting spin because Caine did that and then Caine took the podium
to introduce the Paul Barrett thing and he goes,
I, as much as I respect Mr. T and his mama, we had to get him up stage so I could talk about my daddy.
And I thought that was kind of a cool transition.
So who took the Paul Barrett was a Caine?
No, Caine did the intro and then his sons came out and there's no denying that those are his
sons because they both had different aspects of his physical features.
And then they walked off and then the gong hit.
Under taker came out and just kneeled down and held up the urn while they had the
in memorian picture of him on the tron.
It was a very cool moment.
If you didn't get goose bumps and you don't have a soul.
It was very cool.
There's a particular gear.
And he was in the road that he wore on Rawl last week facing.
Okay. All right.
Then at some point Horton Swagl came out and ran around being chased around by El Torrito
and then El Torrito, Gord Lollar in the man's own.
And they did that the whole of fame.
Yes, sir.
That's what we respectful about.
I've this dive.
I can't write it.
That, it really happened.
And also we found out last night that the ultimate warrior has a very very good sense of humor.
Because he used the word self-destruction and it was like,
I promise myself, I wouldn't do that.
But I even though I thought his speech may have gone on a bit long,
I thought it was a good speech.
It stayed on topic.
Nothing else.
That it did.

eye patch?

I read earlier today that there are still three spots in the, in the, in the, in the,

I was so easy, though it downgraded from last week's show because last week's show,
you have a D plus, I kind of thought about it.
He also D plus, but it's like I said before, what big standout new to match is there?
You know, I mean two years ago, they had Rockstein and they promoted that for a year,
that was big, that battle, the billionaires for that.
They had Triple H in its cage with the Undertaker, what great,
WrestleMania level match is there this year?
Just like last year, there was no big huge match.
I'm thinking this might be a flop again, because like last year,
that's what we're assuming for WrestleMania.
Very strong words from the official fact checker of this show.
But it's really hard to disagree with them, though.
I'm giving it a C-minus at best.
You know what, I think I'm going to agree with you on a C-minus because I think that it's an average card.
There hasn't been a ton from a WrestleMania standpoint that has wowed me in the last few years.
So for me, we're kind of part for the course.
I think there's potential for some greatness tonight.
You've got those three empty spots in the battle royal.
You've got any will there won't there be CM Punk?
You've got a little bit of doubt when it comes to staying.
The latest time reading is that the plan right now is that they're going to do a video package
for staying and have him show up on Rock tomorrow night along with RVD.
I just don't know.
I just don't know.
And that's why I'm willing to go to about an average with it because I think there's potential for greatness.
But the active word here is potential.
Yeah, if I didn't look what happened last year, what's rate shocks for there?
Everyone's still standing out next last years.
I'm scared it's going to be like last year.
We were walking out going, that was one of the worst results, maybe it's ever.

They have to have that great restylvania moments.
