Oh, yeah. Greetings. It is 558 on the east coast. It is 258 on the west coast. It is the 27th of
January and the year of our Lord 2019. Season nine, episode 28. And if you can believe it, we've
had another milestone. 475 times. This voice has welcomed you to the Clubhouse podcast.
Normally, we're live on the vocal network every Sunday, night, seven Eastern, four Pacific. But
this is a very special day. And so we are not in the studio because to do this kind of show in
the studio would be a logistical nightmare. And we'll get to that here in just a minute. Welcome.
My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the Clubhouse podcast. And we're not even in the
home studio yet. We're still having some issues at the home studio. I can tell you by a
limits nation chamber. We will be back in the home studio. I'm holding on to hope here. It gives

for a special reengagement on WrestleMania. Okay. Good enough. We're going to do that for WrestleMania.

Wrestling Christmas. It is wrestling Christmas. First pay per view of the year. That's what we
call this. We've been calling this that for a couple of years. This is wrestling Christmas because
this is a chat out on assignments night as his general. But this is Chad and Alex's favorite
pay per view of the year. It's the first. It starts the road to WrestleMania. It is Royal Rumble day.
But we want to we want to take care of a little business because we can't let's take care of
this. We can't start 2019 without taking a look back at 2018. We can. No, no, no, we're not going
to. We're not going to because we have business to take care of. Then the only one that had a
terrible two thousand. This year, this year, this year, we changed the rules up a little bit.
Everything was risk rule ward. We also had something put on the line. If you saw our Facebook
live at WrestleMania, I actually need to give you my phone while we do this. I'll tell you when to

change because they're going to be active participants this year because of the change we're about

Starting at our next show, what's only going to be one show because next week we're off because
of the big game and then we'll have our studio show and then it'll be a limitation chamber. So

LA. The first show we ever did at Fox and Hound was a elimination chamber, but they wrote it on
the board as a limitation chamber. Nice. So that's what we call it that. So the person that will
display this beautiful toilet in front of them for one show with a negative 89 points is Don Ford.

It's simply fucked up. I like the big thing. So let's explain really because there's a reason why Don
free fell. Because because remember, he was boycotting the last three pages. That he was. So
under the old rules, boycotting a pay-per-view, you would lose the maximum amount of points in
said pay-per-view. Now, that rule is going to continue, but it's still going to change. Can we explain
for the people? Wait, we'll get there. We're going to get there. We're going to get there.
Just making sure that everyone listening knows. So I got to go from worst to fur. I mean, first to
worse. So you'll just say it worst. Well, technically you could go worse. And you know, I love how much
trash is being talked here because if it wasn't for Don, five points ahead of Don to get the toilet
would have been LA. But since we're not talking about ifson but don't worry, he got the toilet
you're just number two. We're kind of talking about but LA also forgot to send his picks for TLC.
That's what he held. I was boycotting. And you still, but you still wound up five
points behind Chad who missed the last three. Are you saying I'm ahead of these three? Yes, yes,
you are. Not only are you ahead of those three. Get ready for it. Doc wound up the year at a minus
16. I was only five points behind general. I wound up right in the middle of the packet minus 36.
I just want anybody to listen to this. I think I can see the bronze message. This is negative. This is
Andrew what run up ahead of me at plus nine. So he's the bronze medal. Stephen at plus 12.
That means there's only one person left winning. I have a possible 385 points at plus
33 is Alex. So okay, so you're supposed to get it locked up. You have your phone locked. That's why you
push. That's why you push the screen to keep it. I kept hitting the screen. Actually,
somebody else has to do it anyway. He's already done. He's already the one. No, no, Brock's got
that on lock. So as soon as I tell you, just hit start live video. So, but there's something

right now is we're going to be putting on the belt. 2018 Alex Barnhill was our winner.

Now the scoring rules themselves have not changed. Just tell me when you want me to cut the promo.

Three points if you call the way the finish happens. Since this is the rumble, it's a 30 point risk
either way. You still get one shenanigans per pay-per-view. Now we have one more rule.
First of all, let me say this up front. The belt is on the line every pay-per-view.
Because I am not Brock Lesnar. I will defend this every month. This is the show that puts our belt
on the line every show. Now if you are the current belt holder. Now right now Alex holds the belt
until that's this side of the table. Can I finish at least he knows who's the number one
contender already. So what this means is at the beginning of each show at the beginning of each
pre-show. Now the belt will stay at the studio. Nobody takes the belt home with them because the belt
has to stay at the studio because that way if somebody can't make a pay-per-view it's not fair to
whoever wins the belt. At the beginning of each pre-show we will present the belt to the next
title holder. How you get your name on the belt is if you are the person that has the most victories
after TLC. So if you win the most months your name goes on the belt as the grand champion of the year.
Makes sense? All right everybody clear on that. Wait, I think we have a question. Yes, Doc.
Doc has a question. In the event of a tie. Okay, in the event of the tie it will go to what we
decided it's going to go to cumulative points. If we have to go past that then what we'll do is going
into the main event I will ask the two people tied for the runtime of the main event closest
without going over wins or if you both go over it's closest to the pin. And that's very each month.
The cumulative points doesn't really. No, that's only end of the year. No, it only matters in the tie
because the cumulative is the end of the year won't matter because it's whoever won the most months.
But if there's a tie in most months then it goes. That's what I thought it was. So we're doing the
points so we could see who wins that month but the most months wins. Most months wins but if there's
a tie of months then it goes to cumulative points. I don't know about the champ not being able to
take his heart where with them. I need if it's if he gets consecutive months. That is a valid question.
I think that owes him but for but if he's not here the whole thing is I need the belt to be able
to be presented at the beginning of each pre show. And if something happens and the current bolt belt
holder isn't there then I can't present the belt. Well then that case I think that there should be a
penalty just like it is in wrestling. We're not doing we're not doing we're not doing. We're not doing
this. If you take it home and then I'm gonna put a pawn shop so I mean come on. Oh
but we're doing that. That's why I said we're not doing this because then list this link to that.

So let's talk about the week that was Cena is out of the rumble with an ankle injury that he
suffered in the ankle lock put on him by Drew McIntyre and the four-way on Raw. He is being
replaced by Braun Strowman. Also speaking of things and such this has nothing to do with anything.
Roman Reigns news on him. He has joined the cast of Hobbs and Shaw. The rock Jason Statham
Fast and Fury spin-off movie. That'll work for him to get it. Hey in the department of can you
leave some for the rest of us? Sheesh. Congratulations. The Jack Swagger. He has won his MMA debut last night
with Bellator in two minutes. Yeah. The sweat. Tap the fans out. We'll get to that in a minute.
See him do it and so he has actually he had to use his real name but he's trying to get the
WWE to let him use Jack Swagger. I thought he didn't like concussions. That's what he's going with. So
and Ziegler announces that he is on hiatus with WWE. What else is new? Interestingly enough he actually
has a comedy show tonight at 930 in Arizona. Well it'll be over by then. Right but the so people
were wondering if he was going to do both. Could be. Some notes from Raw. Did anybody else notice in
the opening segment when Lesnar came out? Where were his coins? They actually had a replica belt
for him. He didn't bring the real one. Well both champions did. Rousey had a replica had the backup belt
also. Oh really? Yeah. Both champions. It wasn't their usual belt. They always have backup belts
just in case something does happen. And when Vince is when Vince is cutting a promo and he's kind
of telling Bible stories. What universe am I living in? Incorrectly. Yeah. It's still. Am I not really
into the new version of Vince? It's not doing it for me. I can wear a sharp suit though.
That suit he wore on Raw was sharp. And I like the ties he's been throwing down with the solid
knot and the ties are current. The suits are not. But it's still Vince though. A couple of signs of
note. One of them had a picture of the universal title that says, have you seen this title last
scene with Roman Reigns? Another one was Reba is the only Mac and Tyre around here because they were
in O.K.C. But it was spelled as Reba's last name, not Drew's. So nice thought, bad execution.
Graves had a great line that actually made me laugh when Nikki Cross came out in the women's
melee. And Graves goes, I don't think Nikki Cross even goes here. It's like, did I wake up in high
school? What happened? And heavy machinery versus the ascension in hour three. What were we doing
there? That was quite odd. I actually enjoyed the Graves line when Lashley was facing off against
the Apollo cruise for the poles down. And then Graves had to hit Renee with the whole, hey, easy
Renee, you're married after all. Yeah. Let's see, I now feel the, you know how most people feel
about the word moist? Dude, that would just gross me out. I have discovered I feel that way about
the word beefy. I believe it's a context thing. A lot of beef in this ring right now. No, no,
beef doesn't bother me. It's beefy. Okay. With the Y. It's kind of a beefy move. Is the EY on
that or just the Y? I think it's the Y. If I remember from the old Mick Foley's, uh,
Sheffboy or D commercials. Yeah. I do like heavy machinery's finisher. The trash compactor.
It looked better on Raw than it has an NXT for months. It's cool. I enjoyed it very much.
The revival and Bobby Rudin Chad Gable showed what a tag team match should be no matter how much time
you're given. Yeah. What a great match that was. Very much enjoyed that. And I'm just saying it right
now. Hawkinson rider tag champs. Let's do it. Oh, absolutely. Because we had that reunion on Raw.
Well, everybody's doing the 10 year challenge hasn't it been about 10 years? Yeah, it's been about
that long because the revival started beating because, um, rider was the referee telling you. No,

a couple of weeks. So they are doing a ticket rally on February 7th to reveal. That's next Thursday.
They actually just finished meetings with the MGM Grand this past week on pricing and everything
else for rollout Thursday night. Eight of us went down to Gillies to see Ring of Honor
as the road to the G1 supercard at MSG began. We've now been to see ROH three times all at the same
place. When Alex told me we were sitting around the corner from where we were before because we
usually were we were like right underneath the camera. Yeah, we were on camera side.
I was like, okay, we're going to be right there on that corner just to the right of camera.
Oh no. We were at the other end of that section behind the timekeeper.
We were I could have like reached out and flicked Bobby Cruz in the back of the head.
I came very close once or twice. Alex was ringside. I was in the road behind him.
I will say of the three times we've been this was the weakest card of the three.
But by no means was it a weak show. Correct. It was a lot of fun.
L.A. made sure to tell Shane Taylor. He was up in his neck again multiple times.
Antaven. And yeah, the undertaven thing. Undertaven was a thing.
And I just want to say shout out to ROH. They do it right. Yeah.
You know, I mean, when the wrestlers would leave as they were leaving through the crowd,
they walked right next to us. So I did get a fist bump from the groat.
I did. I did hit Madison Ray with the beautiful people which she acknowledged. Yep.
We gave we gave Kenny King to BDC symbol and broke him on air twice.
And and then the next night his former BDC tag team partner shows up as MVP is now part of our
OH apparently. One, two. So but again shout out to ROH. Great job. We had a blast.
Man, it was late. But what we got it done. And then last night was NXT TakeOver Phoenix.
It looks like Shinsuke has retained. No, he is one of the US from Rusev. Oh, that's right. Rusev was
the champ. So now Shinsuke is now the start to with minus one. So but we had a blast. NXT TakeOver.
Again, NXT TakeOver. This was probably the weakest takeover that they've done. Still a good show.
Started out strong. Very strong as the war Raiders are your new NXT Tag Champions.
With the best entrance of the night. And then yeah, the only real special entrance was right.

And they can't afford Marvel's money. And they beat. They beat on his speed era.

Oh, the lobby fish did appear on the ramp and then went backstage after you have a new North
American. No, he was wrestling on NXT last week. You have a new North American champion as Rico
Shay loses to Johnny Gargano. I'm saying it that way. I don't care how white they say.
Gargano. That's Italian. That's what Johnny still plays second fiddle to.
Oh, there's a payoff. So Shayna Baszler retains the NXT Women's Championship.
Because reasons Matt. Matt Riddle beats Cassius Ono again.
Also reasons and. And Champa keeps the NXT title in a match that got better as it went longer.
It did. It started interesting to like classic style at the beginning and then they really
ramped it up towards the end for a good finish. And at the end, Champa was at the top of the ramp,
holding his belt. Gargano came out with his and they kind of exchanged a look and both held their
belts up together. Which and then after they went off the air, Velveteen Dream came out and
so did at a coal baby. Thank you. And who was and Rico Shay came out and they brawled all the way
up. So you want to put three on three faces. So what's the what's the name for Red Dragon?
They're an undisputed air. They're half of the industry. There's actually no red dragon right now
because you got Roderick Strong and Kylo Riley. Are your taxiers fish is working solo as well as
Cole. So they just threw strong in there knowing that he's not an original partner of Red Dragon.

debut of the year on television. The have and have not the final season of Game of Thrones. Oh,
am I the only one that wants to see a dueling. Sansa Daenerys entrance is from Becky and Charlotte.

Walker entrance at a lot of Seth Rollins. Yeah, but you did that with Seth Rollins though.
Yeah, but it's not going to work with Sansa. Everybody's going to be like, oh, very white girl.

Yeah, he came out as a white walker. Yeah, it was the peak of WrestleMania. And it was in the
very first. Yeah. So, uh, so Miz wants to wrestle. So Miz has to wrestle each member of the bar
individually over the two weeks. Hold on to that. Yeah, because I'm going somewhere with that.
Just want to put that out there. So if you want to make Daniel Bryan, the planets champion,
wouldn't the other belt be more appropriate?

but his style is more exciting than anything anybody on WWE's roster is doing right now.
He sells the crap out of Ray's new addition to his moves, which is the
kind of reverse-ish hero Karana and the poison arrow. That poison arrow was a man. That crucifix drop
is amazing too. I real quick, just I know this guy has ended a lot of careers in his day, but
give some love to Ray Mysterio for still doing it at that level. But I think that was 80% rate,
or 20% rate, 80% on Draughty. And I honestly think Ray is just holding on until he can work
with Damien and then he's done yeah, or Dominic, excuse me. Joe on Draughty, you have my attention.
Joe Ray, yeah. Joe Orton. That's going to be this I want to see. I think you're going to get
on Draughty Orton before that. Now I don't like them dropping seeing almost the, I don't like that.

possible teaming of Ray and on Draughty. I would like to call them L. Estandard. So it would be

can default to the last pick before mine no matter where they sit in the order. I always pick
last because I want you guys to get your picks out there. So the if you are the current belt holder
you can opt to have the last pick before mine one time on the card. Quick tip don't do it when
you already have the last pick before mine because you know somebody's going to do it. Done. So
