pre-show for WWE payback. Welcome. My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the clubhouse
podcast and it is kind of nice to be back in the studio. It is our first studio show since
WrestleMania, because we have been on the road lots of you have been keeping up on your favorite
podcast app. If you listen live during those shows, we are just glad you are here and glad you are
listening. It has been a crazy ride the last month and it is not stopping anytime soon.
But since this is an official unofficial WWE pre-show, that means I am not alone in the room.
Chad is otherwise disposed of seating but he has sent me his picks. But sitting in Chad's chair
tonight is a man who is actually taking his hat off. It is a little weird. What a be honest.

Wrestlemania because we haven't had a chance to go over stats from Wrestlemania. Some points
updates for you. Bringing up the rear right now. Chad and Docker tied with 20 total.
That's a 488 win percentage. So everybody, at least even the lowest person's almost at 50
percent, at Wrestlemania, Chad went 9 and 6 and Doc went 5 and 10. So about Cleveland Brown.
Well, I've been drinking a whole lot of that there. Oh, yes, you had sir. Yes, yes, you had. Andrew
has 21. He went 5, 12. He's out of 5, 12 running percentage. He went 9 and 6 at Wrestlemania.
Steven's got 25. He's right in the middle of the pack. He's at his winning percentage is 61 percent.
He went 11 and 4 and he did get the bonus point for the hardies. As did Don. LAU are one up on
Stephen with 26 of a 634 win percentage. You went 11 and 4 Wrestlemania. Hey, man. I didn't need the bonus point.
I have one point ahead of you with 27. I have a 659 winning percentage. I went 9 and 6 at Wrestlemania.
But Don is now up to the bonus points helped him at Wrestlemania. He has a 70 707 winning
percentage. You went 11 and 4 with the bonus point. So you and LAU and Steven had the best records for
Wrestlemania. Chad the cheat. You're off for that. You're off for that. You're just too scared.
So let's look back now. I know it's been four weeks since Wrestlemania.

Doc, you had it at a B. Where do you have Wrestlemania now of what you remember of it?
From what I remember the hearties were there. So they were there. So B still stands at B.
And we also remember the horrible service you got at Hooters and Skeet. And I'm just going to put it out there.
They get a D. But they screwed up every piece of that order. Every little bit. But the lovely ladies
had the one in Plano, which is where you went today. They get an A. Okay. What lovely ladies and
Plano get an A. I said for Wrestlemania's this, the only thing was the hearties. Besides that,
what was there? They're really great. It's really great. It's really great. Yeah. I love it.
Yeah. Shane's starting the card was a little weird for me. LA, you had it at A. B.
Minus. What do you say now? I got to give it a solid B. So you upgraded. Yeah.
Okay. Only because of the delete factor. But you know, that was about it. I had it at a B. Minus.
I think I'm going to stay to B. Minus. I thought it was a good show. It was still entirely too long.
I'm glad I took the next day off. Because I mean, I can't even imagine this brother.
Because this, this went, no, I actually had that as a plan day because I knew it was coming.
No, you did a change until it's six months. I can't. Like that went later than it did when it was
here last year. Yeah. It was midnight Eastern when that paper view finished. I had to leave for
last night because I knew it was a happy five hour paper. I wasn't going to stay for that.
And it wasn't even awesome. That's the hill. It wasn't like it was just riveting. It was just a paper view.
It's kind of like they're just like, well, it's WrestleMania. So we're just going to do it or
we want. It's, you know, I mean, if you're on the West Coast, that's fine because it was what seven
o'clock when it ended. Eight o'clock. You can't. They have to go. 11 here. So it's going to be nine o'clock there.
But still, I mean, that's still a decent hour. But for people on the East Coast, especially people that
live there would have had to fight the traffic to get out of the citrus bowl or wherever they're calling it.
Can't be world stadium. I think it's what they call this week to get home. Or random traffic sucks as it is.
Hey, no matter when you're out there. Well, you're for that jury world. You can be like a jury.
I feel for everybody on all coast because again, if you're spending your day on the West Coast watching that thing,
you killed your afternoon. Yes. It was what four o'clock West Coast when it started, which
meant the pre-show started it to a clock in West Coast. So you're like getting out of church,
grabbing some food and heading back to the house. You can read it for us, mate.
And you're there the whole day. What are you doing? Fold and close.
Oh, we've got to hear it for what? I imagine if we were on the West Coast.
Like, I'd have been like, I'm leaving church now. Everybody's the house right now.
It actually answered the question. Can you get too much wrestling? And that answer is yes.
Yes, you can. Yes, you can. I was glad that we had everybody over here and having a good time. I wish Steven and his crew
could have made it, but we would have been jammed in here like some deans. But I talked to him a
little a couple days after and he said they had a great time. We had a great time. We always have a
great time when we get together. But Maine is just one of those things. And you add to the fact that
Maine was right in the middle of the Dallas International Film Festival. So we had that going on.
And it was, they had the Payne Park Festival or no, the pit ball was the weekend before.

All right. So let's talk the week that was in our sport. This fall. JR is releasing a book.
Yes, he is. It is called Slobber Nucker. My life in wrestling.
Oh, they released it. There is the cover this week. And they did talk a little bit. They did get
the official cause of death of his wife was a traumatic brain injury. So we would definitely
still send our best out to JR and his family. And it just was just a terrible thing. And Boy,
I'll tell you what though. He made it and he came up and he called the match. He kept his word and
God bless him for getting through it. I don't know how he did. But he was there for that undertaker
match. And he called the whole thing. It seemed like he had a good show. God bless you, sir.
To JR he says he is no longer with a company. Right. Because he's old. That's basically he says
he's old. He's banged up. I mean, and you know what? I respect the fact that he said that. He's like,
look, I can't keep up. No. I'm too banged up and I'm too old. Because a lot, this is a business
or a lot of guys. It's hard to know when to say when. Yeah, and he's good doing the Andy, you know,
here and there. But JR, he said he can't commit to a full-time schedule. Yeah, I did one mistake
they did when they brought him in a WWE was not get that few was super crazy going. Because those
ECW matches with super crazy. Well, but then, but you see W, ECW plays a lot a big part of that too,
because with those guys put themselves through, you know, those two had incredible. Yeah, they
made it. They didn't keep that rolling in WWE, which was a mistake with JR because you put them
to an arena where it's talked about like England and won the wrestling in those. You put those
in the WWE. But you know, they brought it. They tried to water down everything ECW just because
Vince wanted to stick it to the Molly that he did. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
So again, Vince got an interesting story about him coming up. I've only got one note between
both shows and it comes from rock. And it's real simple. One note, it is our Calisto and TJ
Perkins sharing theme music now. What the heck was that? That was quite odd and the Lucha did even
go with it. Yeah. It was like they shoehorned the Lucha chance into it. Just take it out. Just like
this. Are they going to be a tag team? And what's with the new costume? Like it was like it
looked like it was halfway down and then finished with shoe polish. Like what's going on here? Since
we're talking about shoe hoarding. Why the hell are we shoe hoarding Apollo crews into the
grog? That was so weird. Yo. That's an excellent point. That was just kind of like, I told you,
the Apollo thing is not going to happen. I really hope their paying Kurt Hawkins a billion dollars
a year. How do you come back with such, I mean, had the best promotion like Carlito did just
on and on week after week and then you finally see the guy and you find out he's one of the biggest
jobs you're going to have. And I'm just like, why? I kind of was like, Kurt, maybe you want to call
Jared might be able to have some. He was going to at least win one match. He hasn't won. He's
over. He's over. But he's responsible for the big show's push. Exactly. Okay. So we're doing
speaking of impact. There are rumors that both crazy Steve and Gunner are WWE bound. Yes,
reason I, I'm with you on that because the heart is did their last independent show this week.
Yeah. And I think it was crazy Steve and some other guy that job to the Rock and Roll
Express and their last visit. So yeah, I was, I was happy to crazy Steve get that. But what happens
to decay? What happens? I don't know. I don't know. Also, because impact just can't seem to get it
right. Eddie Edwards is out again. Neon Jerry. He's going to have to have surgery. This might be it.
So Eddie has been injured so much. Eddie takes off. Then Davey comes back and Eddie's out again.
That's what I'm going to do. No, I broke him up. That was the smartest move. They should have
done the WWE. Hey, that was the smartest move. TNA did was break those two guys. Well, speaking
of slam a versery of things of impact. Did you see what your slam a versery main event will be?
Yeah, this might be a spoiler because I don't know if this is air yet. But if you're, if you're worried
about impact spoilers, you may want to reevaluate your life choices. So what's I watch? Bobby
Lashley or current champion? Yes. We'll take on the winner of a match of our number one contender
as EC3 loses to Alberto El Patron, who is your current GFW champion. I, I'll confuse because
the last taping, which was last week on impact. I saw Magnus with the GWF title.
Did that even show anywhere? I don't even know what that's air anywhere. I don't, I don't, I
I don't know if they have the bill so they show the impact. And there are rumors that might be
a unification title. Now that Jared's running impact again. Oh god. So, but you know what?
I would still take that over the tag team match. Oh, what's going to be ugly? L-A-X. I'm not
kidding. This is going to be a match. Now remember, slam a versery is their second biggest
paper view of the year behind Boundary Glory. Yeah. Everybody with me so far. I am.
At slam a versery. Joseph Parks and Jeremy Borash. No. We'll take on Josh Matthews and Scott
Steiner. That's a thing at a paper view. Wait a second. That's a thing at a paper view.

at slam a versery. And I am ashamed to say that paper view takes place on my birthday. Dude,
are you serious Scott Steiner? Where has he even been showed up on impact this past week?
Oh, you know what? I got to watch impact now. Just, just to see him come out.
Just to see. He showed up this week. Wow. And so did Joseph Park apparently.
Well, I don't know. Joseph Park of showed up, but yeah. And you also have a new
exhibition champion? Yeah. In low in low key again. Yeah. And then that side dial is now an impact
again. Yes. And he was just on all which yesterday? Indeed. And God. So he's at our
age now. Yeah. Now he's an impact. He's an impact. But he's going for the TV championship.
That was the match yesterday. Yes. But he did not win. He did win. So he's gone.
You know it. Did you remember our age seems like six weeks at a time? Say it with me. This is all
wrestling logic. God, I love this book. God to love this. Okay. So let's get to this young
book story. What? It comes out today. Maybe it was yesterday. One of the two. The young
books knew that the hardies were headed to Orlando. They were the only people outside of
Vince and the hearties that knew as the story goes apparently Vince made a phone call
and said the words these young books are terrific, but you better take care of the hearties.
So in an interview, I think it was Matt Jackson said he goes, we had a lot of pressure on us
because we're the day before they're supposed to head to Orlando. We're in a lighter match
for the ROH World Tag Team titles with them. And we were the only ones that knew we couldn't
tell anybody. Wow. So thank God that match went as well as it did. Because right after that
match, they were in a car headed to Orlando. Nice. Where was the Lakeland? It's only like an hour
and a half away. Okay. They weren't very far. That's why because remember we were talking about like
I was like, you know what, when Steven brought that up, I said, you know what, this is plausible
because they're not that far away for super cart of honor. They're not, I mean, it's a, it's a
drive. So they had a match lift and they could, I mean, they, by literally could have gone to bed,
gotten up and had breakfast and then driven to Orlando. Like it's literally not that far.
What, to our drive? Hour and half two hours. Yeah. So they were a day where they were moved.
There were, yeah, the super cart of honor was the night before. Basically, they were on
they kind of overlapped NXT take over by like an hour. Okay. We also found out this week,
NXT take over. The next one will be May 20th the day before backlash. Yes, it will. So
we may be booked that day, but if we are, I won't watch it right before the paper. You know what,
NXT is still rolling without a lot of their big guys. Because H knows what he's doing. Yeah, he does.
Your next hour, which paper view will be a week from this Saturday. Cody Rhodes going to get a
shot or a week from this Friday, actually. Cody Rhodes is going to get an hour away to title shot.
But still not acknowledging that he's working under contract with that. Yeah, he is a triple threat
with the, oh yeah, because then that's yesterday with Jay Lee thought. Yeah, he refused that.
Everybody kept saying, he's going to get him a home home. He's going to be Ring of Honor. He said,
no, no. He's having fun. And he's doing well. I liked what they're doing with him in our
age. I really do. So questioned of NXT that he had to backtrack. Do you think they'll move
a peanut up? Or what's her name? Whatever moon? No, Amber Moon, not yet. You got it. If they didn't,
if they didn't do it the night after WrestleMania, it's going to be a minute. What I see happening
with her, because remember, we'll have the draft coming up in July. Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised
if they move her at the draft because that's another three months that she can sharpen her skills.
How many did you get some more? She's really good. I've been impressed with what I've seen her and her
in Osaka will probably go together. Okay. Ask them. I know. It's spelled wrong. Yeah.
But you know, I've seen her on TV. But we're going to talk about her. That's a great segue.
Do you realize she has officially passed Goldberg's undefeated streak yet? Sure.
Even though it was advertised at 173 and O for Goldberg, somebody did the research. It's actually
155 and O. Okay. She is officially right now at 163 and O. With NXT in her career.

This past Tuesday was the 15 year anniversary of his WWE debut. Yeah. I saw him.
What that sink is. He's been working for this. Yes. He had the curly hair. He had the
Instagram post about this. Yeah. I saw that like right right. It was crazy. He had the beginning
like the rock of this. He had the same exact career path. Come in as yourself. It doesn't work.
You go away. You're your third generation super star. You come back. They put you with a with a
faction and then you go through the roof. It's the exact same career path as the rock.
Oh, it's the end of which I finally watched Central Intelligence yesterday.
Very much enjoyed that. How to double feature. I watched that in Kiano.
Back to back. I enjoyed both of those very much. Rock and tin, Sylvain C. No. Rock wasn't

direction of the we hate Charlotte fan club to wear Charlotte and what's your name?
With the hair, the glow Naomi had their match. And then all of a sudden, the we hate
Charlotte fan club comes out and beat up everybody because they don't believe that Charlotte
deserves the title. I believe Naomi deserves where we go with that. It'll be different
two weeks because that's the way we book in this company. We need to get the
and the Bollywood boys are now known as the Sing Brothers, SINGH. So they have a contract
then in its own SmackDown. I'm assuming. Yeah. So you got that going for you guys with gender or

Yeah. Because the way Luja underground works is it works a lot like a Telenovela,
where a season is every storyline ends at the end of a season. They don't carry a lot over.
Like you'll have certain cliffhangers and whatnot, but it works almost like a Telenovela because
there are storylines that work into things that are more elaborate. But their belt is like the
big, you know, like the Aztec sundial. That's what it looks like. You need to do some research.
I also watch that. So they're never watching that. Yeah. Yeah. The first one is airs on the L-Ray network.
But I don't get the L-Ray network on the L-Ray network. The first two seasons are on Netflix.
It's called Luja Underground. And there are some amazing people that have worked for that.

There's, I don't know if they really showed up for a minute.
What about Molina? Molina is part was part of the cliffhanger of season one. I think.
But I'm saying like they literally work in seasons. They don't do like a normal wrestling
company. It's pretty neat the way they do things. So if Molina is still down there,
I know they're like a couple of times. I will not confirm nor deny that they're still together.
I'm not keeping my season three. I got cut short episode five because they're in season four now.

And I didn't know this that the Zack writer in the M-A are not together.

this angle, especially if Seth or Seth and H aren't going to be on the show for a while because
they're helping promote this Middle East brand. I think that Joe wins because this is going to be
in my opinion, your main storyline for the foreseeable future. Yeah. And if Seth wins, it ends the
angle. I don't think this is going to lose. Okay. I don't think he'll win and then walk away from.
And I think this is Joe we're talking about. Joe is going to kill you. I think there's going to be
some weird stipulation. They're going to make it like no DQ falls kind of anywhere at some point.
