time for another unofficial official pre-show, for WWE money in the bank coming up in

let's get shot, good times, since it is money in the back day, we are going to be focused
on the sport of professional wrestling today, so not our normal pop culture show, shorter
than our normal show too, because we want to watch the paper view and it starts in 52,
56 minutes, so let's get started, talking about the week that was in our sport, just
got word, for those of you that may have heard Jerry Lawler and his girlfriend both put
in jail over the weekend for some domestic violence issues, what I've read, Jerry didn't
interview where he said she tends to get loud when we hear that a lot of Memphis,
which is no surprise to anyone, that was done, that was not me, I didn't want to
go with the dog, he said that they were having a party at their house for one of the
games of the NBA finals, there was some shouting, nobody laid hands on each other, but
they were both charged, he has been suspended indefinitely from WWE, so I don't know,
they don't play games, right, I mean, I was having a conversation with this with LA,
the other day actually, we were talking back and forth, he's with his family, he couldn't
be here, but we live in an age where the company has to protect itself, I mean, the
whole thing is a prime example where you have stockholders who have to answer to, and
it's not like they fired him and they dismarged him, they just took a preemptive measure
and said look, we have to suspend you until the dust settles, we hope that you're that
every get your cleared in this, but we can't take the risk and I get that and just like
you said doc, the NFL and some of the other professional sports, you know, you'll learn
from those experiences, you learn from somebody else's mistakes, so, you know, we hope
we hope that that King is back soon, we hope everything gets cleared up, we hope that
it's just a big much understanding everything, because nobody ever wants, which is ill
ill on anybody in that department, yeah, I mean, being from Memphis, I've seen this a whole
lot when things get out of hand at the party and there's he said she you are a correspondence
in Memphis, I mean, they basically okay, everybody out of the pool, we're taking everybody
in jail and we'll figure it out, come on man, seriously, let it go, I had to, I had to
sorry, I just thought, so then they took everybody in, once we figured out, I'm sure
everything will be okay in the long run, but they're doing the right thing, they're doing
the right thing, it's, it's not the desirable thing, but you're right, it is the right thing,
so, I mean, he's not guilty, you know, he's not guilty, exactly, but let's take a
process, take it, let's take it's course, what's the best? Talking about raw, great segment
from the new day on raw Monday night, what happened? We did get the coffee was wearing the
Steph Curry shoes, hey, what is the, everyone's hilarious is that when they did the bit,
Xavier was down on the mat just like face to foot with his shoes, like, what are you wearing?
Like, it was great, did you see his shoes though? Well, Xavier, we're gonna get to, we're gonna get to that,
okay, but now we got that, but we, he also said, what there's like, says from the mean streets
and big E actually said, the mean streets of Greenwich and coffee went, those are pretty mean streets
and I was like, that is such an inside reference that if you don't remember the attitude
era, this would go right past you, but there was a bench in the green streets of Greenwich
and that made me happy. That's right. That's right. Oh, that's right, that's right, that's right.
It was Pete Gas and there was two other guys in that, that just made me happy. And, you know,
I love this bit with Cesaro and the James Bond entrance, but he's never going to get that
timed rights that where he's centered in this spotlight, he's always walking ahead of it, even
on SmackDown, it's really crazy. Like, dude, it's right there, just look out of the corner of your eye
and like, maybe slow down a little bit. Pete Gas, Roddy and Joey App. That's right, Joey apps.
Yeah. Oh, mavener, Joey App and I would forever.
For the James Bond Greenwich. Yeah, I wanted you to get to watch a lot of Robin and I, yeah,
the ending to that Cesaro, Sammy Zane match was amazing. Here's what happens.
Sammy Zane comes off the ropes. Cesaro picks him up into a power bomb, which then Sammy flips
over Cesaro's back runs down, turns it into a backflip drop pin. Wow. It was really neat.
I might see the replay on it. Really great ending to that match. And I just, I just want to say that
I am ready, willing and waiting for the day that Byron Sachs and finally just snaps like a
twig and just starts beating everyone down. Because he's just, I feel bad for this guy.
I'm going to get down to the, yeah, well, he has to sit with what's his, who I, oh, I was colon JBL
and with moral renown. That's why I talk about moral. Yeah. He has Michael Cole won them.
Oh, God. Poor guy. He can go from one of them. He's, he can go. He can go. So,
but we get maybe a, a Michael Cole, Mike Brian Sexton match. Oh, I mean, speak of it.
I know Michael Cole is undefeated recently, but yeah, but seriously, how they put a replacement
for King on SmackDown yet? They have not said, I wouldn't be surprised if JBL just sat in
or Booker T because Booker, Booker T's got the experience. So, and especially now that we're
getting ready for the big switch and Doc, I don't know if you're caught up on this. July 18th, 17th,
18th, this is SmackDown goes live on Tuesday nights on USA. Really? So instead of Monday,
Thursday, you're going to have Monday, Tuesday, or Tuesday, July 19th, it will be live on USA.
And the brand split is coming again. They're growing to the future. I don't want to say,
I don't want to say draft too loud because that stresses Charlotte out. Charles and the green room right
now. Okay. Um, she hates the, she hates the draft. It's just very stressful for her. I like the draft.
But it is going to happen. So, that's going. Let's do a couple of, do we have to,
well, they've resigned for talents. Rose Mary, Rose Mary, DJ Z and a couple other people have
resigned. Um, do they want? If you want to know how badly things are going, I do. Just for them to
operate through the weekend, Billy Corgan had to put some of his own money into the company to get them

put his checkbook in. Oh, wow. They didn't have enough money to do some of our grocery. They sell some
of them guitars. He's gone. Yeah. And apparently, they almost didn't have a show to air this week on
Pop TV because there were so many technical problems with the taping. They really had to piece things together.
So when is last time, anybody got paid? And why would you resign?
I mean, I guess if nobody else wants to sign me, yeah, you got to do something nice.

kind of don't worry. All right. Smackdown news for this week. Is there anything bigger for the
kiss of death in an angle than to tend to say, you have somebody who's a true friend.
Nadie, I'm talking to you. Oh, true friends always get to like, you know, yeah, you know,
I don't know what that means. She's hitting the face with a pie. Yeah, I don't want to want to say. I don't
know if she's going to turn on Becky Lynch or Becky Lynch is going to turn on her, but something's
going to happen. There's going to be a smack. And so. And don't you watch Smackdown?
Yeah, but I had to kind of fast because I can't stand Ronaldo. Was it me or did Dolph Ziegler's
teacher look like I had a bunch of little tie fighters on it? I was trying to figure that out. What's
what's the clause? We had Johnstein with Ellen on the shorts. Now, I don't know if you saw that
a couple who saw Doc John Cena on Memorial Day when he came back. He, his belt had the Ellen logo
on it. And he had a picture of her face on the side of his cargo shorts. And I never did find out
what to deal with. Did he lose a bed? I don't know. I don't think I can figure is maybe she told
him if he did that. She'd give money to charity or something. Probably. So that's got it. But that
was just weird to me because there was no acknowledgement of it. It was just there. You're talking
me on the thing that I went back and looked at him. Like, oh, he's right. You got me. That's pretty

I would do that. Of course, mine's worth like $10. But I still do it. And the picture would

Xavier been Xavier was been wearing the iron sheaks boots? I didn't notice it till Smackdown.

he will look at your shoes. You know, okay. He's wearing these shoes that have the weird
swirly point on them. Yeah, I don't know what's going on. I'd be found him in a box of bootios.
I could be. It was the prize. Yes. And we did have consequences. Creed versus AJ Styles on Smackdown.
Yeah. And I was waiting for somebody to make a statement with the word consequence in it. And nobody
did. I was like, come on. You guys know who he is. The opportunity was there. It was there.
And 19 people would have gotten the reference because that's how many people watched TNA anyway. And it
would have been funny to those 19 people. Because, yeah, pop TV's on like 20 homes in America.
And are we going anywhere with this Darren Young thing? Make Darren Young great again. Because
are always just doing a bit like that with the all that Express. We're gonna make it across that.
Yeah, where where is this going? Can we please move this forward?
It's driving me crazy. Just wobbles and blah, blah, blah, blah. I mean, it's kind of funny.
But part of me wonders if Backland knows it's a bit. And I agree with you.

Because we were watching this week in WWE before we came in from the green room. And they
were just because there's this new documentary about Bishop, which wow, he's aging. But
like watching some of the clips from that era, it was like, where is this? This is when
wrestling was must see television. Like if you missed it, you know, it's kind of like I'm
real tempted to stay up late after the paper region night. Just so I can watch Game of Thrones
before work tomorrow. Oh, I have to. Because this is the big episode tonight. That's what
wrestling used to be. Like I would stay up, you know, when I had my apartment, I would stay up watch
raw, tape, nitro, and then watch nitro. I'd be up to like one in the morning and it didn't
matter because I was getting to the must see television. Where is this? Oh, you say he's aging,
but he's 61. You got to figure that. Have you, did you see? Yeah, but you know, gray hair 61. I mean,
but how many years does that business take up his life? You know, I wrote that to you. You got to
just not just beat on the road to business in general. Probably at a 20 years day of life.
Yeah, I'm I'm interested to see this documentary because I'm always up to see this behind
the scene stuff from that era because things were so wheels off. I mean, I'm a sucker for
behind the scene stuff anyway, but this era, especially. I mean, this is, I saw this came out. I was
like, wow, I didn't even know this was going to be a thing. So I'm definitely going to check it.
I agree with you. You said how many times Vince is as best when he has competition. And if
ROH could just step it up just a little bit. They're, they're stop having your paper views on Friday
nights, man. Not up. Go to Sundays. And I mean, I love from the most part. I love the product
that ROH is putting out there right now. I don't know if you can watch this week. Oh, yeah.

did it recently. It reminds me a lot of a better quality. It reminds me of a higher quality
ECW show. Yeah. It really does. It was a good show. I would need to do more instead of just these
interviews do more like the backstage. And they need to be more current. Yeah. Because that episode was
taped by three months. I know. Oh, they can get that on. Yeah. So I don't watch it. All right. You

you notice this trend over the last three years. Uh-huh. Cena will not drop two times in
row. He's too good to do that. So what they always do is like they did this with a Rusev and they
do with everybody else. Okay. The heel which is going to be AJ Styles was the first one. Uh-huh.
Then they have the rematch and John Cena wins the second one. Uh-huh. And then they have the third one.
But Cena never drops two times in row because he's too good in Cena won the third one. And then
pay for view at summer slam. Wow. You're going to a long way to do that. So you're saying AJ wins
tonight. Yeah. And then Cena wins the next time at the next paper view because that's what they
done every time he started a few. It's three paper views. He's too good to drop twice in the row.
And so AJ wins tonight. And then you have the rematch and then you have the, no. I know we had the weird
contract signing on Raw where he gave him the option of signing a contract where that allowed the club
at the ring side and the other one or didn't allow the club at the ring side. I think Cena wins,
but it's not, I'm sorry. I've AJ wins, but it's not clean. There will be Chanel again. There will
be Chanel again. There will be Chanel wins the rematch. And then they have the big third one at
summer slam and Cena never drops has been three. And let's, and let's be honest, this match has
screwed up my booking. I just remember. I said AJ was going to win money in the back. I know.
I know. Which you should get that screenier earlier this week and I brought that up and I said
dude, it's not. You should. Yeah. Styles all the way with shenanigans and I'm for this.
United States championship on the line. Rusev versus Titus O'Neill Darn. It's going to be Rusev because
every time they do something with the prime time players they always screw him over. Okay,
a company. So he won't get the push. I'm going to say Rusev Crush. Plus he's got last time. So
guess, keep for a doc is the valet going to be with Rusev? Lent, Lanna will be there. Yes.
Then she intros him now. Then I am not going to be paying attention to the match. So I have no
opinion. Fair enough. I actually, I'm going to go the other way. Draw. I'm going to say a draw. No,
doc is declaring he's the winner. Because you said it best. I'm going to be the winner if she's
out there on TV and I don't care about the match. I think Titus wins this. And I'll tell you why

questions. Mainly I can't find my car and he's like, you're in your house. I couldn't find
your home from a party next door. Yeah, but yeah, I am going with the Vaude villains on here

going to be chaos and the Vaude villains are going to cash in on this. And plus they're just too
ridiculous not to win. It's too ridiculous. Don't win. I'm going to go for the bowl club.

it's a Luchadragon's. I think the Dudley's have now been relegated to putting everybody else over.
You want to hate him? They're going to be on the Hall of Fame next year. There's no doubt in my mind.

probably doing with WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Roman Reigns Seth Rowan's
Don. As much as I hate to say it, I think they brought him back and it's too fast to give him the

made a venter. But it's going to put him up. Right. I'm just saying this, this is this is one of the first
one of the very few of these matches where you don't have a big time, you know, even Jericho is on the
backside of his career. I'm a big fan of Chris Jericho. I like him a lot. It does nothing. It ruins it
for it. Right. It's weird. But it's, you know, that being said, as the card doc stands right now,
grade the card. I will grade it at a beam minus. Okay. Done. Yeah, we got some he who are matches,
but some good ones, so I can say a beam. I'm right there with Don. I'm going to say a solid be
potential for an A minus on money in the cash loan loan. Yeah. Even if whoever wins cat doesn't
cash in tonight, that match alone could outshine the world title match because of it. Usually they'll
do that. I wouldn't be surprised if money in the bank doesn't lead the card. It doesn't. It hasn't
the pay because that way it gives you that question is whoever wins it going to cash in tonight.
I actually want to have this. Remember that you stepped the raw in this man. If thing and if things
go according to plan, this will be the last time for a while that you only have one because with
the brand separation happening next month, you're going to get two pay per views a month. They've
