But we're not going to talk about football today, normally we are your one-stop shopper
offing sports and entertainment, but today we're wrestling intensive because we're
going to get you ready for Hell in a Cell.
Joining me across a desk is he tends to do is my normal co-host and a man who's been on
emotional rollercoaster here in the last couple of hours.
He has Chad welcome sir.
The weather is reflecting the mood here.

And a man, I believe he had nothing to worry about this week, I believe they're on the

I know it's wrestling intensive, but when I had that tragedy and lost everything to
the fire and everything, shout out to the people affected by the flood.
There's the flooding, there's the tragedy and still water this week and there's so much
going on that we need to talk about.

Okay, so let's go ahead and get some corrections out of the way because we have
a huge thing to talk about.
LA, LA knows a little bit about what's going on, but he hasn't heard exactly the
exactly what we did on Monday.
So let's get some corrections out of the way.
Just a couple of corrections from our last studio show.
First of all, thank you so much to everybody involved with Dallas video fest 28.
We could not have had a better time last weekend.
And if you haven't listened to last week's shows, we want to let you know that within
two podcasts, it's about six and a half hours worth of content.

I'm still getting through the second show.
I just want to have a bus turn about at my toe, but a spring snacks and a change of
clothes.

So rush we found out is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
They were inducted by food fighters, of course.
And there are only eight groups in the world title series with the top two going on
to the round of 16.
Don't think that we don't know, I think it shows that we did this past weekend.
We're cleaning.
Did you guys hear anything that we really needed to to correct from last week's show?
Not as a fact checker.
I think we're cleaning.

It sounded good.
Before we get to the meat potatoes of tonight's show, we've got to talk about last
Monday afternoon.
Oh, yes, we do.
Don and I got the opportunity to go out to the American Airlines Center and meet
with some people from both the Texas lottery and the WWE as they announced a huge
partnership as we are getting prepared for WrestleMania 32.
And we could just tell you about what happened, but when you record stuff, you should
probably play it.
So we're going to go ahead and intro this thing with the executive director of the
Texas lottery, Gary Grief.
He's going to tell us about the event that we were at itself.
Texas lottery is all about generating money for public education.
We're just announced our results for the year a couple of weeks ago.
We sold $4.5 billion in lottery tickets and generated a billion too for the public schools
of Texas.
A big part of doing that is partnering with great brands.
Like the Dallas Cowboys, Charlotte Jones Anderson.
She's been our partner for seven years and we've generated more than $50 million for education
in that time.
So Charlotte called me a few weeks ago and said, hey, Gary, there's a new thing
to come in the town sooner, the AT&T state, I mean, it's the WWE and WrestleMania 32.
There might be some opportunities for the Texas lottery to partner up, generate some
money for education.
I listened when she called and sure enough, we have worked together closely with Stephanie
McMahon and her team to come together and bring new scratch-off game, WrestleMania scratch-off
ticket to Texas.
It's going to offer almost $10 million in total pride.
Which is awesome.
We're going to be beginning of that again.
This is a huge partnership between WWE and the Texas lottery.
I mean, you can get bigger, yeah, you know, and these prizes are going to be huge too.
We're going to get Gary continue talking about what those prizes are going to offer almost
$10 million in total prizes, top cash prize, $25,000, but that's not all the excitement
comes in the unforgettable once in a lifetime experiences that WWE and Texas lottery fans
can win when they enter their non-winning tickets into a second-chance drug.
A second-chance drawing that's going to have, so if you scratch off there and maybe you don't
win the big money or whatever, you can actually take your losing tickets and turn them in
a chat.
I don't know if you and I've had a chance to talk about this, but this is kind of cool.
Yeah, you spend your money on your lottery tickets, but in this case, you can take your losing
ones, turn them back into a second prize drawing, and I'm actually going to not only let
Gary talk about some of these prizes, but Stephanie McMahon herself was there, and she's
going to talk about one of the probably coolest prizes that's been involved in this.
This is very, very special.
We have replica, WWE, heavyweight championship belts.
We have VIP tickets to WrestleMania for two, including a behind-the-scenes dinner, autograph
sessions, a chance to get photos with their stars from the WWE, and the icing on the
cake is a trip to Orlando, Florida.
I don't know if you've really heard that, but one of the prizes that they're going to
be giving away with this promotion, they're actually going to take the winner.
Some winners fly them to Orlando to the WWE Performance Center, where they're going to
get a VIP tour of that facility, get to meet with the NXT Superstars.
They're actually going to be able to go to a live NXT event while we're there.
I mean, this is a big deal.
My gosh.
This is huge.
Here's a good bigger.
I mean, you're talking, you know, we got the chance to do some interviewing as well, and
one of the things that I led with was WWE, the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
It's a huge partnership, especially then you add the Texas lottery to that.
It's even bigger.
So I really wanted to know from Stephanie about them coming to Dallas, Dallas area, because
we hate to say Dallas, because it's out there in Arlington to our friends out there.
What was it about just finally getting this thing here?
Getting we have had our ION AT&T Stadium ever since it was the conversation about it being
built.
And now to actually have the opportunity to have WrestleMania 32 take place here in Dallas.
We are blown away.
We're blown away by our partnership with the Jones family.
Of course, with Charlotte, with the Cowboys.
We're blown away by our partnership with the Texas Lotto.
We're blown away by the feeling we get from everybody here, because it truly is just
this incredible community.
You get the feeling everybody gets into it and everybody just it's that communal feeling
that they love so much because we are the WWE universe.
And this partnership, I mean, we were we were truly just in awe of everything that was
going on.
And one of the things we also asked about was just about Stephanie's experience with the
stadium itself.
One word that describes it goes bumps.
Absolutely just covered in goes bumps from all of the excitement, all of the energy
it there's just truly nothing like it.
And I cannot wait for WrestleMania.
I actually took my picture on the 50 yard line, but the last time we were there.
I laid in the middle of the start.
I don't know if you don't mind that I posted on social media.
There was the cool.
I mean, that's just an awesome experience.
Because I remember seeing that when they announced, oh, yes, just first and
now that they were talking about coming to the Dallas Fort Worth area and being able to
logo.
And one of the things that we haven't had covered here that they've covered in the press
comments as well, there's going to be five different scratch off tickets featuring
different superstars.
Each one of them is in the middle.
You have, because each one has like five different superstars on it and all of them
are different, all five of them centered on them, people like John Cena, Seth Rollins,
the Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, the Bella Twins page.
These things looked really cool.

Absolutely.
Now, we also wanted to talk to Stephanie a little bit about last year's WrestleMania
was huge.
How are you going to top that?
Well, it's our goal every year with WrestleMania to have the next one be even bigger
and even better.
And certainly nothing is bigger than it is here in Texas.
So we just can't wait.
I can't give anything away, but knowing that we have to top ourselves and knowing
that we're looking to break our own attendance record, which was set at WrestleMania 3
of 93,173 people.
Let me tell you something, the best minds are putting it together and we are going to give
you a show.
And it's going to be awesome.
Think about, if you think about back in WrestleMania 3, 93,173 and I actually was talking
also, if you could hear the voice in there of Charlotte Jones Armstrong, who was Jerry
Jones's daughter, she handles a lot of things at the stadium.
She also was one of the people that kind of helped develop and design a lot of the things
you see at the stadium.
Her official title is the Chief Brand Officer for the Dallas Cowboys.
I said to her, you know, if you're getting the graphics ready, you better have six digits
already in room because it's going to happen.
They are going to break here in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
We're going to break that attendance record that stood for almost 30 years, sir.
If my public school math does me right.
But one of the really cool things, I don't know if you know about this, but they're
going to be doing a very special event tying in with all of this at AT&T stadium.
And I'm going to let Charlotte Jones Armstrong tell you about it.
We like to do it through technology, but we also like to do it through unique experience.
So we're going to give a chance for all the community of North Texas to come pick out their
own seat right on the field out at AT&T Stadium on November 5th before anybody else has
a chance to buy the ticket.
So hopefully those in the area can come out, bring their families, it's free to all get
a chance to interact with Stephanie and all the fun people here at WWE as well as Texas
Lottery and Gary and all of his great friends and really have an opportunity like you hadn't
seen before that be able to experience.
And just think about that.
You get to go to the stadium.
If you want to sit on those field level seats, you can go and you can find that seat.
So you'll have the view you want all along with other technologies that are out there
right now with WWE partnering up with the Dallas Cowboys and with the Texas Lottery.
We're, I mean, how many websites have you been to where you can take a virtual tour of
something?

And to be able to do that now with all of this coming together, it was a very, very exciting
thing.
You're in that stadium and you can go, I want to sit in that seat right there.
I want to sit in that seat over there.
Absolutely.
You're going to go, okay, you're sitting in that seat right there.
How can you do that?
I mean, that's, oh, absolutely.
And then we had Charlotte Jones Armstrong talk about what it took to get us to where we are.
I will say, when we were building AT&T Stadium, we set out to get the biggest events in the
world.
On that very short list was WrestleMania.
And for us, we were not going to be complete until we had them at AT&T Stadium.
So coming up to Connecticut, to tell them about our vision down here in Texas and convince
them to come our way was an incredible experience and matched only by the bigness of the
personalities in the room with Vince McMahon and of course Stephanie and her husband and the
many other people that are involved.
When you want to associate your brand with something big, you want to look to people who
are doing it right, who are doing it in a big way, and who are using that visibility
to make an impact in the communities in which they serve and that is them in a nutshell
for us.
I mean, it is their great organization, their great family rental organization that they
really care about the people that are supporting them, with their fans in the community
that they're performing in.
So we're excited about their road in April to get here and we know we're going to blow
the roof.
And of course, we're going to blow the roof off that stadium.
There's no doubt.
This event, there was so much going on this partnership between the Texas Lottery, the
WWE and the Dallas Cowboys.
I'm still trying to wrap my brain around that many things in one sentence.
That is insane.
As we will continue on with some of the soundbites from this deal.
Charlotte's going to talk.
Charlotte Jones Armstrong is going to talk about how we're going to set that record
and some of the numbers that have already been put up.
Well, you know, we always want to set a record and we always want to do things bigger and
better than the time before and we certainly are well under our way.
Yes.
We got to accomplish that and we have had such an incredible response from our travel packages
that we launched that are just selling by the thousands to the opportunities that are coming
up to actually let locals come in and be a part of the show before they really go on
sale.
But, you know, this wouldn't be possible without some support and that is from the Texas
Lottery.
And, you know, we really try to reach everyone, not just those who are lucky enough
to have a ticket that those who reach beyond the borders of AT&T Stadium and Texas
Lottery is allowing us to do that and supporting our public schools along the way.
So both great partners, great event and is going to be hopefully a record-breaking
one like you had you sing it.
And the other thing that I really want to reinforce that they talked about is how much of
that money that's used with the Texas Lottery goes into the educational systems.
And that's one thing that's big is we know with WWE and the Dallas Cowboys as investing
in the future.
And when you invest in the future, it's about things like education, paying it forward, so
to say, yeah, what's more important than that?
And lastly, the last thing I really wanted to play from this, and for not every member
of the Empire, is well-versed in the world of sports entertainment in the WWE.
So Stephanie actually took just a moment and talked about what WrestleMania week is.
Just like the WWE brand itself has evolved, so has WrestleMania.
We've gone from a being, you know, just a one-night show to actually being a whole week's
worth of activities.
So we start with Monday Night Raw, then, of course, we, you know, come on down to Texas.
We will have different community activations.
There is a golf tournament.
We visit several different hospitals.
We have our make-a-wish pizza party.
We do, of course, have the Hall of Fame, and that will be on Saturday night.
It's one of my favorite shows of the year where we get to, we really get to celebrate
those legends and those people who have paved the way for where we are today.
And then, of course, WrestleMania on Sunday night, where we do intend to blow the roof off
of 18 and testing.
And again, we have no doubt that's going to happen.
Also, I want to remind you that these scratch-off tickets, if you're in Texas, they're
going to be available in November the 16th is when that game is going to get started.
So make sure you go by wherever you buy your lottery tickets and find these scratch-offs.
They're really, I mean, and they're really cool.

Monday night, Raw happened and, you know, Don and I were there.
So we're going to talk about how that live experience was amazing.
Great seats that we were given for those of you that haven't seen any of the pictures
from social media.
We were two rows, three rows behind the camera that shoots the ring and about three seats
over.
And we got to pick Ashley, WWE for getting those tickets for the tickets for the, for the
France conference, everything was handled so professionally and so well.
And then it starts off with Stone Cold Undertaker Brock Lesnar and this, and well,
I didn't realize and Stone Cold was talking about this.
That was the first time Austin had been on live, non-paper view television in like four
years.
Yeah, first time I was just being on the tron, getting ready to do a Stone Cold podcast.
First time in the ring and Ron for you.
I didn't realize.
Either way, you see a lot here there, but yeah, we think about it.
And every hour started with a different legend.
Oh, yeah.
If you had Austin in the hour one, Sean hour two, flare, hour three, they really did bring,
they really kind of brought it for this show because of course you're promoting
WrestleMania, you're in Dallas and they had a Hall of Famer, which is kind of say, hey,
Hall of Fame coming in, you know, big class coming up and they did it without, like, this
is what we're going to do.
They just did it and it had a real nice organic feel to it.
I thought.
And one thing I want to, I want to give a shout out to is, um, L.A. knows this person, Athena from
MXP.
Yeah.

Yeah.
She just got, did her first match in NXT.
Oh, is that who that is?
Yeah.
Athena, who is it?

Yeah.
She's a nation.
She's a girl made good.

Uh, a lot of people were asking where Harper was.
There were some rumors that he was being punished because of a picture got put out of
the internet of him and Ziegler and Roman Reigns just hanging out together.
That's not the case.
He had a family issue.
That had to be taken care of.
So, uh, the rumors are he's in Los Angeles.
We don't know if he's going to be on the show tonight or not.
And why would he get punished?
Why would Ziegler and her family, he was the one that published the picture, or somebody
also, it was on his Twitter feed.

And it was part of us.
We didn't have to hear Michael Cole.

So Dallas is always pop in the faces, uh, they, and then they, now all of a sudden

But speaking of serious, it was weird.
He was in and out within the first half hour.

That was weird for me, right?
Because as we know, after tonight, he's going to be taking some time off to host
a fitness reality show on Fox Sports 1.

Uh, also, another thing I found strange, one of the main things I wanted to see, which
is, because during the commercials now, they don't just have blank space.
They actually are playing videos and stuff, more than they used to.
The one video I wanted to see was the one they do with the troops.

And the only place it was on was on the big tron.
It wasn't on the scoreboard.
It was weird for me.

And they were using the debris song, which I'm a huge fan of.
We had good seats and stuff.

Guy was in great spirits, and he's right there on the corner right there by Lilian.

We saw him, but they did show him in a couple of the video, like the WrestleMania
video package they showed right before the superstars taping.
He was all over that.
And fellow critics for there.
I think Brian, for those of you that don't know, LA's cousin is the we hate seeing
a guy.

The guy that's seen actually recognized.
He's my idol.

He's the, the, the actual mastermind behind scene of making the rise above hatred was my
cousin.

William Shattner is going to narrate breaking ground, which debuts tonight after hell
in a cell on the WWE network for only 999.
Although somebody had a sign that said, pay the authority 999, which I thought was funny.
Let's see what else we do want to talk a little bit about Orton.
Separated shoulder, as he's getting ready to get married in a couple of weeks, and apparently
he separated the shoulder.
And this is from what I've read, separated the shoulder, taking out the garbage.
We're going to say allegedly.
Allegedly.
This is what I've read.
Is that his ex-girlfriend that he was, wow, I mean, what's that about that?
It wasn't the why it family, but yeah, he's going to be out, but he's getting married
in Vegas in a couple of two weeks from Thursday, I believe.
So just right on the heels of Baptiste to get married, who's been all over social media
the last few days.
Well, he's been all over social media the last few days.
Well, he's got, he's working on another movie right now, and specter comes out next
week.
So he's promoting that right now.
So, but they'll probably have to head on in a wrestle, maybe again, for some reason.

I do want to talk a little bit about Lesnar on the Stone Cold podcast.
It was actually part of Austin's Thursday, on least show this week.
They didn't wait until Tuesday.
They did it this past Thursday.
If you watch the rerun, there is a piece of it taken out, where Stone Cold asks him
about why he, my heyman comes out and cuts a promo as he says, are you a fray to cut
promo?
And he actually says, I got to feed the Jew, and they actually took that, but it's
on Austin's podcast, but if you watch on the WWE network, they took that out.
But I thought the interview was probably the best interview I've ever heard Brock Lesnar
do.
He was out the window.
It was just Stone Cold and Lesnar talking as two guys, and it was an excellent, excellent
interview.
Lesnar talks about how the fact that he really doesn't like people.
He just likes to be on his farm by himself.
He talks about how he really treats this as a business.
He did get some heat for it, but you know what I'm talking about?

Lesnar said I agree with.
I mean, not everybody loves the WWE, as much as everybody thinks that every wrestler
out there loves this business.
Hey, you got to put food on it.
Yeah, he thinks that it's not that I don't love this business.
There's a reason I came back to it, but it's still a business.
Yeah, if you're a wrestler, you're going to try to make every dollar you can.
Let's be realistic, because your time is limited.
I don't know if you guys actually heard Berset throttles was on the ticket on Monday, before
was he missed that?
And Seth Rollins said he's a great interview.
Yeah, I heard him on Bob and Tom, I saw him there, and Andy.
He said it right then and there that he's, you know, he sucks at everything he has no talents
except working out and being a WWE superstar.
So that put thing.
And he's begging to the CrossFit, too.

That's a big thing for him.
Overall, I'm going to call a very successful trip to our town for the WWE.
I could not have been more impressed with everything they did.

And Eric Young and by the way, James Storm doesn't interview last week where he says he didn't
even know this was a world title.
He would tell that he was just wrestling matches.
He didn't know that there was a world title series until somebody told him.

I thought this guy's been around for a while.
