weekend here on the show and we're going to talk about why here in just a moment. But

is, as you heard in the beginning, a different special edition time because today is WWE
Faceline. I believe is that coming to us from Columbus or somewhere in Ohio or Cleveland.
Let me double check. I think it's in Cleveland. The quick and loans arena. What you're
hearing in the background is the official theme song from Will Rouse. It's called Watch
This. But it's an audio song. I can't watch that. They're they're encouraging you to watch
Fast lane. Oh, okay. I did see what they did there. Welcome to the show. It's just
you and I did. I know it's kind of strange for for a WWE pre show. I don't know that we've
ever done a WWE pre show in the studio that wasn't get full of guests when we were getting
slightly closer from. It is Cleveland. Okay. Good. Good. We are good there. No, I can't say
we don't have corrections from last week because I was sick most of last week and did not
get a chance to listen back to the show. As you can probably hear in my voice, I'm still
recovering. So thank all of you that have sent what wishes and all that good stuff. I'm
hoping to be okay here the next few days. I have to go back to work tomorrow. English cross. So
excuse me. Should probably use my cough button for that, shouldn't I? But I don't know. I think
we're good. We do want to talk about today is a very special day in the life of the Clubhouse
podcast. This weekend, technically. It was five years ago yesterday that we did our very first
live WWE pre show. Can you believe it, sir? That's that gives me goosebumps. Five years ago
yesterday. The things old enough to be in kindergarten. It really is and when we did a lemon
elimination chamber as it was labeled at Fox and Hound that day, they were so good to us. And
still are. I mean, they're still trying to get everything together so they can get us back in there
for the pre shows. But they were having some technical difficulties with the network and stuff. So
hopefully very, very soon, we'll be getting a call from them. They're ready for us to come do the
thing again. We have never have anything but the utmost respect for the kids over there. Fox and Hound
in Richardson. And we've been here in the mothership for a couple of years now. So getting ready for
a kind of feeling about the payment research. I do too. I've got to rush this in the chat room.
Good to see you, sir. We're, I mean, tell you, I'm ready for this thing. I really am.
I've got a better vibe than usual for a non-major. That is, okay, so it's not just me. No, no,
I mean, when we get to the rundown of the card, I think it'll kind of explain itself.
What we do want to do this real quick, though, before we get into that.
Vince likes to schedule pay previews every year on the same day as the Daytona 500.
Normally at finale of his reality show. Well, but normally, you know, we were having problems
with with the crowds crossing the streams to this race ended like three hours ago.
So that's a good thing. I mean, it's, and I was talking to front of the show,
barbed wire. We were texting back and forth. And I was like, did this thing finish sooner
than it has in the years? He goes, yeah, there were only seven cautions in one spin out.
So the race went really well. Congratulations to Denny Hamlin.

You kidding me. The closest finish in the history of the Daytona 500 earlier today.
Come, maybe the closest finish in the history of racing period. I don't know if in history of racing,
but it's the closest ever Daytona. So NASCAR already off to a crazy start.
Junior, I believe, got spun out with about 30 laps to go. So there was that. Of course,
we're not really going to get real deep into NASCAR. Probably until we get closer to the
Texas race, which will be believed that we can after WrestleMania. If I'm not mistaken,
I'm not sure. I think it is. Because there's no way they're going to put both of those events
in this town at the same week. I wouldn't think so. That would be utter insanity. It'd be
greatness, but it would be utter insanity. There would not be a hotel room to be found within
30 miles. The Metro Lexu. But there is that. All right. So let's get talking about the week that
was in our sport, because we're going to be wrestling intensive this week, just because next week
we're going to be moving intensive because for the first time ever, we're going to do an Oscar
focused pre-show. So next week's going to be a real quick quick show as well, which surprised
me. I can't believe we've never done that before, but it's always interfere with other stuff.
So next week won't be a full length show either, because the Oscars start about three
quarters of the way through where our short no one would be. So there's that. Okay.
So last week we talked about the retirement of Daniel Bryan. Now there's reasons to believe
that Brebella will be following him. Really. Talks of wanting to start a family.
Brees seems like the type to me that would have invested her money well.
And when that happens, I wouldn't be surprised to see her sister follow suit as well. Really.
Well, yeah. It does seem like you can't really have one without the other.
Whoa. I mean, I'm going to odd with that. No.
Just got worried that Fred of the show Brandon Leonard also under the weather.
Really. So get to feel him better, brother. Man, I'm telling you, it's going around people.
This thing's held on to me for the better part of the week.
Also speaking of people leaving the company.
Wait, bear it. Allegedly not renewing his contract when it expires this summer.
Really. Really strong. He released a statement that just said, look, I'm focused on taking care of this.
What I'm doing right now. Russ says the Fort Worth races April the 9th. So it would be the
Saturday after WrestleMania. Just got word for another show. Bryan Bernal was sitting as well. What's up, brother?
So yeah, I mean, I don't know what that does for him. Because he's been injured more
than he's been active in the last five years. I mean, God bless him for still coming out in
ring gear, knowing that he's injured. But you got that going for you, which is nice, I guess.
It's really sad when you when you when you think back to how how that huge mega push with NXT
started or I'm sorry, Nexus, let me read that and then to see where he is now. It's just
and it just seems like such a wasted opportunity. Last night in Philly, Austin,
Eris did make his NXT debut. So he tagged with Finn Bowler to defeat Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin.
Interesting little bit last night as well. I don't know if you saw this a few weeks ago, but Finn
got injured and he was on crutches and their women's champion Bailey came out and did his
entire ring entrance. While he was in this and her bed is she's a hugger. She's a hugger. And so last
night at the NXT event, well, after her match, he came out and did her ring entrance. And announced
that Bailey 316 says I just hugged your arms and then he hugged her. So pretty interesting bit there.
And then news that's going to make you go, I'm sorry. Apparently, a screenwriter in
son of the celebrity bar on this show, Max Landis claims he's been a consultant with WWE for the
last year. Oh my god, so you've had, let's see, Freddie Prince Jr. Patrice O'Neill and Max Land.
Just being interviewed and he was like, yeah, I've been consulting with him for like the last
year. Like put a diva here, Adam member of the the white family or whatever. And apparently he says
his contract is just about out. He's not sure if they're going to renew it or not.
Very strange. I just, I just don't know how much actual stock I could see. He's kind of cookie.
Nice guy. Yeah. Yeah. Just saying. And again, his dad is the celebrity bar set for this show.
All I'm saying is it's out there, people.
Oh, Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson have had their final matches with New Japan.
So bullet club almost ready to reunite in WWE at least three members of him maybe four.
How big do you think that's going to be when it happens?
Hands on how you do it. I mean, I mean, do we have a title wave staring us in the face or
is it just going to be a ripple?
So you don't have all of them here. Do you think you make an official prediction?
What is always the biggest show of the year for stuff like that?
As far as the most real OMG moments that WWE does all year.
When I talk about the one that's happening next month.

You're talking about the show after it, the raw after it. It's the raw at the American Airlines Center
the night after WrestleMania. Okay. I think that's when bullet club shows up and just goes nuts.
That's a sound theory. Oh, yeah. I'm going to need a bullet club Wyatt program.
This is what I need or you reunite the shield one of the two.
Because you're talking AJ Styles dot gallows who's gotten a lot better in his
deal like he's better than he was when he was here with CM Punk. Yeah.

Well, because somebody's at the back of the house and we just show
they need to cover around to the front door. Yeah. Okay.
But I'm telling you, this is going to be huge. And apparently
Vince has the rights to bullet club right now.
That's why I kind of freaked me out. I want a bullet club to be sure. That's why I kind of
remorse. I love the logo. I love the whole bit. That's why I kind of freaked me out when we were
watching ROH earlier and they were still using the name. But I'm like him. But you notice the
young bucks were not wearing bullet club t-shirts. They're still part of bullet club. They're just
not they're not I guess you could call it bullet club proper at this point.
But this is going to be awesome. Carl Anderson's a he's a brawler style wrestler.
So I'm really looking forward to this. As we continue on with the week that was in our
sport. Let's talk about raw. Kevin Owens is your new uh inner continental champion. I'd
like to think the app for telling me that 20 minutes before I watched it. I think really kind of stopped
that crap. And I get the whole maybe you should just turn the notifications off. I shouldn't have to do that.
No. Like if it's if it's the next day, like that's a might fault for not watching. Yeah, that's the kind
of on you. Or even give me 48 hours. But when you're doing this in real time and even during the
paper view, I could roll with you because on the network you can't you can't pause and rewind the paper view.
Like I could roll with that because if you're not watching the paper view in real time, you're not
deviating it anyway. And if you are, why are you paying $55 for it? Right. I mean it it's one thing
for fans to do it and there's no really not a heck of a lot you can do about that. But you kind of
have a because I can avoid that. I could not go to Facebook or not go to Instagram or not go to Twitter.
Do you have a slightly larger responsibility as the network presenting the show to not put it out
there on front street? You know, it's it just it makes no sense to me. Speaking of networks,
I'm going to make sure in case people were interested tonight is the must see TV tribute to
James Burroughs that's just going to have the pseudo friends reunion tonight on NBC.
That's he's getting ready to direct his 1,000 episode of television. There's God. So there's that
on tonight as well. And Biggie and Mark Henry had a match. That ending seemed awkward, but I'm
not reading anywhere that Henry's injured. So like he fell wrong at the end of that match. Not just
badly, but he fell wrong. It just looked weird. And there was no addressing it and I haven't seen anything
online or in the the emails that I get that state that there's anything wrong. So I don't know what's going on.
And as we all know, Mark Henry seems like he gets hurt just about more than anybody else.
And when Charlotte came out with flair, I was like, is this Anna Hymer, we actually in North Carolina,
because Anna Hymer in California was horsemen country on Monday nights. It seemed like it. It was
crazy from what I saw that that was insanity. And Chris Jericho on on commentary during AJ Styles'
match, how much money would I have laid down just to have him call him Mitchell Cole one time one time.
That's all I wanted Chris. Just call him Mitchell Cole. Just throw it old school for me.
I missed it. I missed the days where he would screw people's names up and do it consistently on purpose.
Loved that. And oh, JBL. JBL JBL. Oh, you know about my issues with him. It's been very well
documented on this show. JBL has been doing this bit where, like, because he's a heel announcer
and he's comparing, um, like he's he was talking about how AJ's ugly and he called him a Hogwarts.
A Hogwarts. He looks like a Hogwarts. He looks like a wizard school.
I'm like, you know, I'm an academic senator. The dude's kind of big, but he's not the size of
a castle. Like, I'm not very well versed in Harry Potter. And I know that's wrong.
That's, that's, that's so wrong. I don't know how it can turn around to come back around to being right.
Oh, yeah, you can't, like, there's nobody like, and I'm assuming somebody fed him
that line. I guess, because I don't even think he would have come up with Hogwarts on his own.

I mean, did something happen to him because I see him, but he doesn't really see him all the time.

I think he's just a guy that they don't know what to do with and he's just happy doing what he does.
