And then he's bumped back up to number one contendership for the Universal title.
But maybe he's out of the win next week.
But what have we always said about, about Vince, if it's not a title that he created,
I don't know.

And again, thus furthering my point, you can see how much that title means to them.
Oh, I think something to us, but it may not mean squat to them.

Cause he did treat the intercontinental title the same way from the seal.

Who he allowed to walk away from the company so there were times in like during the the
Razor versus Sean era going back and forth like from WrestleMania 890 that in some
cases, I almost think that the intercontinental title fight over Shadow.
Oh, it is because historically, and the miss kind of eludes to this and if you listen
really closely when he talks about it about the title itself, historically, if you were
the intercontinental champion, you were the guy being groomed to be world champion.
That was always seen as the workhorse title.
That was the title that was defended almost more than the world title.
Because if they put that belt on you, they were preparing you to carry the company.
And somewhere in the invasion kind of lost its way, but now it's kind of found its way.
But now you have the problem not only with Rusev and what he's dealing with, but then
the miss goes off and films a movie for a month and a half and you don't have the
intercontinental title on television.
And then they even go along with your point, Chad's absolutely correct because, you know,
if you think about the wars between when, oh, what heart had the title going up against
Triple H and then you had the rock and stone code, they were well superseding any world
title match.
But even with that, I speak it of the miss, I don't even get what you're doing with
the doves.
You're treating Roman rays and doves Hitler exactly the same.
You just run in opposite directions and I don't get it.
I don't.
And we'll talk about that more when we get into the card because I said on the show last
week, if they book that match right, I believe in the miss versus doves Hitler.
I think that match could go a lot farther than anybody really thinks.
Although I agree with Daniel Bryan and historically the miss has always worked safe.
I don't care what he says, you know, you don't want to get punched in the face.
Well, it's kind of part of the deal, son.
But I think I think now because from what I'm told that whole bit on talking smack was
a shoot.
That was not a work.
Like him losing his mind.
That was a shoot.
I've yet to see that.

If he really wants to get opinions to change, this is the match to do it in.

I get it was a shoot, but I mean, I still think part of that.
He had to have been a work, though, because I mean, I don't, I've just never seen that
man lose his cool like that, but he had the history of every had to re-identify himself
because he was getting vanilla and, you know, it's very even as the miss, you know, quote
unquote with the Hollywood bravado, he was getting very vanilla, especially when you
bring a girl with you.
We're going to talk about her on a minute, too.
You definitely get vanilla.
The cruiserweight division starts next week.
It was going to start with 10 superstars that are actually going to split time between
raw and NXT, which does still lead me to wonder, what is the thing that SmackDown
is going to have?
Because if you're going to make the cruiser weights exclusive to raw, you need to
do equal time.
I think that's a mistake.
You can't give SmackDown anything because it's just two hours.
You got to fill in something for raw, which is why you're breaking that cruiserweight.
I'm just saying.
Also, we announced that LA and I were talking about in pre-show got a notification
as I was getting home today, that the fourth match in the best of seven series with
Cesaro and Shamus actually took place today at a house show in London.
Really?
And Cesaro wins.
So he's now down 3-1 LA and I were actually texting back and forth during raw this
week.
After Shamus wins, he's up 3-0.
Well, you know they're going to ride while for a straight.
They single-handedly ruined that.
They really have.
And the only thing that can save this thing to me right now, and we talked about this a
little bit, you've got to go to the gimmick match at this point.
Like what?
Do no holds barred, do a cage match, do, you know, and that's barely going to save it,
because it's called anywhere.
You just see how killed it.
Yeah.
Right when it came to beer money and then I said, and I really think that TNA, I mean,
TNA missing an opportunity, that just means it's a day that ends in why.
But why did they not take those four matches?
Was it four seven?
It was a best of five.

Why do you not take those five matches and sell it as a DVD?
It would be the best selling DVD in the history of TNA.
Better than all, you're one night only crap.
Because those five matches were five of the best matches I've seen in years and years and years.

By two of the best tag teams in the business, one of which, I think, is getting squandered
in ROH.
The other one we just can't seem to get them in the same room at the same time.
So that's just me.
So being that I'm out of the loop on RH just a bit, we did put the motor city machine
going to back together.
They are back together.

And you can't get storming route, but I don't know what's going on there.
Interesting.
Because allegedly EY assigned and again, triple H is hilling it with NXT, absolutely
killing it with NXT and taking these guys that you just want to go, Dixie, what were
you doing?

It's not like you're changing the bit with either airings or rude, but somehow
they're better.

This is AJ 10 years ago, who's just been, especially his, his new Japan stuff.
Like, it was good, but it was real, like you said, it was real vanilla.

But, you know, taking, you know what, it is crazy how all of the bad ass wrestlers,
like your angle and your AJ, all used to play that, that, that whipping boy, Angle did
it with Austin, AJ did it with Angle, but they all came out like they're the king.
All right, so let's talk a little bit about Raw, Chad, were you able to watch either share
this week?

Okay, so Kevin Owens did come out that job doing your homework there.
Well, he's, he's been a little busy, he's been a little busy.
I like KO's plates on the belt.

Jericho, now two weeks in a row with great matches, last week, had a, had a, had a really,
really good match with Neville this week, had a match with Rawlins, and it was a good
match.
And again, two weeks in a row, you think Jericho, great match 2016, Rawlins obviously
had to carry it, he didn't, they both worked in this match really, really well, which
again, proving number one, DDP yoga works, none because he, he touts him and gold us both
out that.
If it wasn't for DDP yoga, there's no way they could still be in the ring at all.
Wow.
Two, if you put him in the right situation, Jericho can still go.
And you know what, again, I, I told this to you guys, last pay per view, he is the best
at what he does.
And that's being a heel.
I mean, this is the only guy that can reinvent the heel Jericho every time, because
I mean, he knows how every time he comes out, he reinvents me.
And I, I said Sunday night on the show.
I don't ever want Kevin Owens to be face.
It's just such a good heel, he's such a rare breed when it comes to a heel.
He's a different breed, because you look at somebody like Triple H or somebody like Rick
Flair or somebody like the rock, all great heels.
But KO, there's just something different about the way he plays it, where there's, there's
a snobbery, but there's a machismo to the snobbery that very few people can master.
And he doesn't really, well, he, he's razor-rimone.
He has to ask without the whole, you know, but a little scruffier, you know, he does
the same thing.
He's like, I know I'm, I'm that great.
You guys are going to have to deal with it.
And I don't care if you like it.
Yeah, he talks, he comes off like, all he really does is talk smack, but he backs every single
bit of smack he talks of shout out to Cesaro, I guess the new entrance way makes a difference
because he actually kept up with the spotlight when he walked out, although he walks out
from the other side now.
So maybe he can see it better out of his peripherals than that, but he kept up with it.
And I don't know why, he's, I've been watching him for years.
Errors and see what's Claudio Castanyoli in ROH.
Why is it this week for the first time hearing him cut a promo?
I just wanted him to hear.
I want to hear him say, you do the choppah, just one time after all this time.
I don't know what it was about the promo he cut this week, but I was like, he's not
a thuma.
But I don't know what it was about this promo.
He's wanted to put him a clap back type of promo guy versus a, give me a mic, give me a
camera and I'll cut and if you're him, you've got to be really torn right now because
when Tyson kid comes back, because they're a great taxi, they really are a good taxi,
but you've got to be torn if you're him because you're really starting to do well on
your own.
They won't let him go though.
They're holding his wings.
But still, what do you do if your him and Tyson kid's healthy?
Do you just fall back to the masters of the WWE universe?
Or do you say, look, we're getting some momentum here, Tyson has been gone for a long
time.
And the most that they've done with Cesaro is get him in the in the continental and U.S.
title hunt.
And I still think things would be different if Chris Hero was able to get his head out
of his rear end.

I mean, there's definitely room for instability of throwing some more stuff out there.
If you're going to try to make this thing three hours.
You know, the matches are actually shockingly compared to Raw's paper view.
They're credible matches for the SmackDown brand.
Well, for for Clash of Champions, you only have one match booked right now, right?

So for for the SmackDown brand, these are actually good matches.
So I'm going to give it a B.
