My name is Rob, I'm the executive producer of the Clubhouse podcast, and I ain't bad,
but I ain't good.
It's all I got.
Joining me across the desk is he tends to do is my co-host, and a man who is not a mom.
He is Jack, I have bit with a few though, allegedly, allegedly.
Also joining this is the official fact checker of this show, and a man who said the word
bad, at least once in his life, you may know him as Fondongo, but his mom ain't even
done for him, I'm going to call him Don Ford.
No, he can't grow up in big sky country.
Montana, where men are men, it's cheaper.
That's not where I was going with that, I was just saying he grew up in big sky country,
they have animals out there, and he's probably talked to one at least once in his life.
Is there's not a lot going on, they've got to talk to something.
Yeah, Betsy, the count of prom, I mean, come on, that's your boy, your boy, you
bought him to the dance.
Whatever we do, one of these, it is to review something, and this is no exception.
We are here today, you may have figured out by now, to talk about the latest film from
John Lucas and Scott Moore, they wrote the hangover trilogy.
They directed a movie a couple years ago, Chad, if you remember, called 21 and over, about
the kids that were at medical school, and I believe so, they directed that, their latest
film is called Bad Moms.
For we start this whole thing, we have to make our best friends, ally in the great marketing.
We have to be flirting with it for straining order at this point, I don't know for sure.
Creeping me out.
But thank you so much for the advice, we're all about this thing, but I had a schedule
conflict, and I do apologize.
I had to do the solo duties, but for the impact, but you were there with Kevin Daniels from
the movie Brothers?
We love those guys.

That's their website, it is their website, starring the Milakulis.
Me, Catherine Haun, and Kristen Bell, all moms kind of overworked and underappreciated.
They finally snap, they finally snap one day in the side, they're just going to
live it up.
Basically, the plot is, you got Maria, who's plays Amy, who's a, that's not Maria
and Amy's Mila.
It is.
Milakulis.
She's my third P-tricks wife, after girl's lightly.
You can't get her name right?
She can't get her name right, you all think you're going to make it to the altar, she'll
be your ex-boyfriend.
You ain't going to make it to the front door.
But basically, she's a mom who has a lot on her shoulder, she has to get school, works
and stuff like that, and then she comes home to her husband by the name of Mike by David
Walton.
And he's kind of a guy who does some financial stuff, but he does some financial stuff.
But he does that a technical term.
But he's not much of a helper on the house, kind of, you know, and that marriage seems
a little not there anymore, the lug romance has gone, that kind of thing.
David Walton is from New Girl, and about a boy.
She just kind of says, one day, I've kind of had enough, and she kind of meets up with two
compatriots.
Are you talking Carla and Tiki played by Kristen Bell and Catherine Haun?
Catherine Haun is one of those crazy on edge.
I don't care, you know, the wild and crazy one, and then Catherine Haun very underrated comedic
actress of all time.
And then of course, Kristen Bell plays Kiki, kind of a scared nervous one to the group
and stuff.
Kiki!
But the big thing is that Christina Applegate plays Guindaline, who's like the head of the
PT at the school, at the private school, where the kids goes and such, you have to get
to PT and all this stuff and kind of overbearing and tries to control everything and stuff
like that.
Her and Guindaline get into it and that kind of thing and it becomes a battle for the
PT, a presidency, stuff like that.
But, you know, that's a basic plot that I want to give, not too much to be spoiler-free.
Also in this film, people you know, Jayda Pinkett Smith is in this film, Uno Lawrence,
who's a young lady who's really even doing a lot, she was in, she played the daughter
in South Park.
Oh, yeah.
And she plays the daughter of Amy and this, and also, she's in the upcoming
Pete's Dragon as well.
Yeah, she originated, but the current part of it, you know, you are correct, and Mr. Anthony
plays the son of Amy, so another underrated guy, conveniently Clark Duke, from a hot
time machine is in this, a window pierced from from the wire.
I'm a big fan of also, I am told.
There is a cameo from Charlotte's leader in this, Mr. Jay-J1, really.
Really.
Yes.
No, no, remember seeing that.
He might have been in it.
Yeah, that's it.
Kevin Kevin told me today that Jay-J1 has a small role.
Okay.
So, I mean, Don, we're going to have to rely on you for this.
Okay.
Let's just put it, this is an hour 41.
Yeah.
How was the pacing on it?
Very good.
All right.
We got to admit, this is not our, not our cup of tea, kind of like other women and stuff,
like the other women.
Yeah.
Which I very much enjoyed very much.
And, you know, I wanted that, hey, it's not going to be for us.
And I got to admit that this, this was in South Lake Texas, the theater.
They had the mayor of South Lake there in about 400 moms invited to this thing.
Wow.
Right, right, right for our friend, Tanya, they gave away a bunch of prizes.
Yeah.
And she said that, like, it was a 400 people were there.
They had a really great time.
Yeah.
So congratulations to all.
And a really great event.
So it's a very successful.
So you know, the moms were there.
This is made for those moms.
You know, that's who it's made for.
But in the end, though, keeping the open mind as a critic, which we have tried to do.
Yeah.
Overall, I'll say the thing for the end, but onions kind of say, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But when it comes to, let's say the plot and everything.
It's now 41.
Probably about maybe five, 10, 15 minutes of drags kind of around the hour, 20 more.
Okay.
But not bad.
Because there's a lot of good comedy throughout this film.
Okay.
It flows well.
Except for about maybe 10 minutes when it gets serious about the PTA thing.
But beyond that, or, you know, the divorce of this reminded me, because I've seen the trailer.
Yeah.
This reminded me a lot of bad teacher.
If you remember that with Chad, you got to help me out here.
Cameron Diaz.
Cameron Diaz.
I think the title was intentional.
I enjoyed that film.
A lot of people didn't.
I enjoyed that film a lot.
And that's the kind of vibe I got from this.
Yeah, I did.
The moms, you could tell really laughed through this thing.
I laughed a lot in this and there, I got to warm the empire.
This film is not for the kids.
It is rated off.
Yes, of course.
Good read.
And Tony even warned everybody.
Hey, there's a lot of F bombs.
There's a lot of language.
There's a lot of sexual into windows in this thing.
There's even some nudity.
One of the psychs also in the cast here.
She's a Camille about 10 minutes.
But she plays the marriage counselor.
Just perfect.
They're seeing blows out of the park on this thing.
But there's a lot of sexual.
Well, a lot of being you window, a lot of double on tons.
The weird part is they did it right.
The sexual window window comedies and sexual jokes they make.
They might be uncomfortable in some situations.
But in this movie, it works well.
Really?
Yeah.
In the context of the scene that it is.
Yes.
You would be surprised.
Oh, I want to say is the bathroom.
The hoodie in the bathroom.
That's all I want to say.
Okay.
When you see that happening, very sexual.
Andy and nobody was done right.
It was funny, funny, funny.
Any mom who feels overstressed, worked out.
You know, does too much, just feels at the end.
We'll love this film.
Acting incredible.
The three big three.
The chemistry between them is incredible.
Okay.
They play the, you know, miscoonus who's Amy.
What would you like to say?
Yeah.
Me luck.
It's kind of like those three students.
You got the serious one.
Then he got Han who plays just the wild and crazy one.
And I just a kick you who's by Bell who's just a timid one.
But they all work together and put those.
Character styles together in a trio.
That's very, very well.
Applegate.
Very, very good on that.
She plays someone in the end.
You just hate.
Just hate.
But she does a part so well.
Okay.
Um, but, uh, the cameos, like by psychs and stuff, they add.
They're not in there too much, but you're not, and also not enough.
They have the perfect amounts in there for those cameos.
Um, let's see.
I don't even know if she's on on DB.
There's about a two, three minute cameo by one of the great homemakers.
As I'm going to say.
Okay.
We went to prison.
Oh, really?
Yes.
She even does good in that.
It's the right amounts.
All right.
It's two summers on a row for her.
Exactly.
But I was surprised to see a lot of these cameos in there.

At the end of the film when the credits start,
you will have like Christine Applegate.
Say next to her mom on a couch and do an interview and talk about growing up.
Oh, it's gonna all the characters.
That's gonna all.
Yeah.
Kind of something with her mom speaking in that, you know, Russian accent and saying,
we had a wonderful childhood talking about her.
And just remember she did not speak a lick of English when she moved into the classroom.
She used this as true.
Yeah.
So, I mean, that I think really ended the movie well and then it well.
The plot and it gets a little predictable times,
but I was so surprised on the amount of comedy that followed throughout the movie
for maybe about except for 5-10 minutes.
But it was funny.
There's a lot of raunchiness in it, but it's done right.
Get the vibe I got from this, just by looking at the trailer,
kind of reminds me of last year's the night before with women.
Oh, yeah.
Such a great film.
You can say that the way, yeah.
In a way.
And.
Have any of they did like a crossover?
Yeah.
You know, it's this film's not gonna be for everybody,
but the mom's stuff like this usually is.
It's done right though.
The comedy is done right.
So that's why whenever you say it's not on our wheelhouse on the surface
and may appear that way because of the cast and because of the title.
But when you sit down,
you find out that it really is in your wheelhouse.
Yeah.
It's right up your alley.
I mean, the moms will love it.
I mean, yeah, her husband Mike puts him in the bad light.
Most of the men are, it's not really too many men characters in this.
You know, and they're not putting a best light.
So if you're guy, some guys will kind of go, I'm not that bad.
You know, but, but still keeping that mind.
You're saying probably not a good first date movie.
Oh, no.
You know, if, if you got a first date and yes,
someone who can handle comedy, this would be a great film.
Even on a first date.
You ready to put a final analysis on this?
Yeah, sure.
Let's go for it.
All right.
The way we do the final analysis on this particular show.
I'm not going to give you thumbs up thumbs up.
I couldn't see him anyway.
We're not going to give you stars.
I'm not going to give you rankings, letters, whatever.
It's not how we roll.
Our audience whom we have affectionately refer to as the empire.
They want us to deal a little deeper.
So we're going to do that.
I'm going to ask Don up to two questions.
Question number one is would he see this film again?
The answer is no.
Then we're pretty much done here.
But if the answer is yes,
I'm going to ask him how far he's willing to go to see it again.
Because it's going to show you how much he thinks of the film.
Top ranking is going to be full price evening show from there.

Second run at the downward theater.
Maybe you'll leave the house to go to red box.
Maybe he is treatment on Netflix.
Maybe you wait for it on TV.
Don, would you see this film again?
Definitely.

Because of how surprised that was and how much I loved it in the comedy.
It gets a coveted.
So you're saying full price evening show.
Go get her done.

I love the love of the thing.

It's a fun thing.

And it's really interesting again.
