of nothing. Well, technically I was home, but we're going to talk about that later.
Got some very upsetting news this morning, gentlemen. What's it?

Melt is closing its doors. So now it all sucks. All locations will be closing.
But that means all of Ohio now sucks again in the world is right.
Area upset about this come to Texas and reopen. Please melt. It was. It's still that there's still a few
times left. Oops, I froze and there I go. A grilled cheese restaurant that is one of my favorite
places on the planet. And whenever I'd go to visit Ohio and the great city of Westerville,
they knew that there was a stop at melt on the way. And it was very sad to read that this morning.
We also have a couple of things in business closed though. Never happy about it, but oh,
up to 12 locations at one point. And then they had to cut them back after the pandemic and just never could recover.
There's nothing like a good grilled cheese though. I don't care. That's a valuable girl.
You're not wrong, Don, but this place took it to a whole different. I can imagine, but
you have to hold this for sure on this grill about it once. Yeah. We have a little bit of a
speaking of losses in our world. We would be remiss if we did not talk about losing the great
Ricky Henderson at 65. A man who stole so many bases, he took the record home with him literally.
And a great gumbel passing the way. That would be eight this week. That was a tough one for me
because apparently I did not know he had been fighting cancer. No, they kept that very much under wraps.
Great guy preferred. To me, he's my favorite gumbel. Well, I was a little more friendly one. Yeah,
I felt him more relatable. Exactly. Not that I don't like Bryant. I just feel like if I met both of
them, Greg would be the one that would want to hold a conversation where Bryant would have other things to do.
Brian would be politically. Greg would have a beer with you.
And he was he the one that's on the today showing all that to.
If I remember. Well, Bryant was on the today show. Greg was moistly on CBS Sports.
Okay. Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah. He did the NFL and I remember all that. He had to roll
earlier hair of the two. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So our bar deep is go out to the friends family
fans of those gentlemen, up which we are those.
Bull season is before we get to that. Oh, still my favorite thing. If a baseball player stole
60 bases for 22 years, he would still be behind Ricky Henderson for the all-time record. That's an
insane stat. Bull season is well underway, gentlemen. We want to update you on every
thing going on. According to ESPN, I can't pick worth a dern.
It's gotten rough lately because I am. I believe in in the clubhouse league on ESPN. I am in 19th
place right now. Who? I am 16 and 24 on ESPN. Dawn is five games better than me.
Huh? And yeah, you're 21 and 19 currently, sir. And Alex is 22 and 18. So he's only a
game ahead of you. However, because I do my picks at different times, I don't do the ESPN
and live at the same time. I'm crushing it on the show. I am currently,
I have 23 points currently. If I had the same exact picks here as I had in ESPN,
I would be tied for fifth right now in the 81st percentile of America and the internet.
But Alex now to Dylan. Is Dylan who's in the lead right now? Dylan Townsend is who
D. Town is. And he is currently in the 99.9 percentile. And to be insane. Yeah, to end
you out there. It's great how insane this bull season has been. The man is one tenth of a
point of being in the top period and he's 29 and 11. God, I love bull season. Alex is 31 points
and our next Dawn with 19 Ziggy with 20. And as we talked about last two or two weeks ago on
the show, this year I'm tracking the over under. If you get the same amount of money on every game,
you would currently be up 300 bucks. If you did 100 bucks again. Because the over 21 and 18 right now.
And tomorrow's tomorrow's game Duke and Ole Miss, your over under is 51 and a half.
Everybody but me has Ole Miss. So Alex has a chance to do. I do not. I have Duke.
That's a crisis. Ole Miss just hasn't played consistent enough for me this year. They're
upsetting teams but then they're not beating the teams are supposed to be. So I just don't try.
I don't trust Ole Miss in general, but I really don't trust Ole Miss tomorrow.
As they will be in Jacksonville, Don's favorite city. Oh, be honest. You just don't trust Lane Kiffin.
Well, there's that. Let's see NFL picks. I'm clawing my way back into this voice. I fell to like eight.
And remember what I said when I was in the 99th person title long. Never happened the rest of
the season. So I'm enjoying it now. I went on a three fall since this week. I'm back. I'm back, baby.

fourth currently. But let's get into the week that was in the NFL. I was very confused boys
because of no gain tonight. Well, it's the last last of the season. It's only Saturday Sunday.
I'm so used to Thursday night football. I read did my off my studio a little bit because the
two monitors were blocking the one that had I was ready to go. And then I went to Amazon Prime.
I was like, it's not there. But I do have the the bowl games currently up as Duke and Ole Miss
are officially under way Ole Miss with the ball. So let's talk about the last week in the NFL.
The double header on Christmas day. Neither game. Really that great.
Yeah, Kansas City opens a can on Pittsburgh. Yeah, I attended them two points.
Baltimore all over Houston, like a Harry Christian on an airport traveler.
Oh, Dennis Miller reference. 31 to two. And the two was given up by my running back.
We're by Derek Henry. Don't live by Derek Henry. That's one way to look at it.
I can't really talk about the halftime show. We were at the in-laws and we didn't have the
audience. It wasn't very loud. It looked cool. I can roll with it. Seattle, Chicago sucks to have the
over. And if you bet the over on that game, you deserve to lose. Seattle wins Dawn. Did you see
this score? Sit the three. That's a baseball score at back. Yeah. Wait. Wait. Hey, Dawn.
Yeah. So you know the final score was six to three now, right? Yeah. Yeah.
When do you think those points were scored?
No, I know how this probably was turning out probably in the fourth quarter.

Rams Cardinals, man. It was a messy game. 13 to nine. Jacksonville gets a win over the
hapless Tennessee Titans by seven. Point. I told you, come back.
Hampton. They almost put a 50 burger on Carolina as Baker may feel throws for five touchdowns.
I feel like they just started running trick plays to entertain themselves at one point. You like that game.
Philadelphia takes Dallas to the wood shed at the link 41 to seven giants. Alex, I know you are
working by the end of the skin. And a game that sucks to have the under at 45 to 33.
And Andy was giving seven. Literally, we can't score more than 30 points since like 2019.
And now exactly right, it was 2019. And for all the people who are telling me to get ready
for shader Sanders, I wish awful awful things on you. Vegas beats New Orleans by 15. Buffalo decides
to remind the jets of who they are from Highmark Stadium 40 to 14. Oh, my favorite part of that, though.
There's two items. Did you see the response from Aaron Rogers this past week when they asked him
about coming back next year? Yes. And he blew it off saying ask Woody. Then my favorite part
for this game, it was 40 to nothing. And they benched Aaron Rogers and Tyrod Taylor comes in and scores
are immediately back to back. Um, I need you guys to talk for me. I forgot to get my beverage. I'm
starting to sound a little frog. I'm sorry. I'll give you guys the next one. Miami over Cleveland.
I won't want correct one. Oh, you didn't? No. Okay. Well, then do you go get your beverage and
come back? Yeah. Don, what I wanted to ask you about is it's pretty much clear that the jets are
not going to bring back Aaron Rogers and Devonte Adams. We just had those reports earlier today.
Okay. Number one, do you see Aaron Rogers playing in 2025? If the jets are not sunny him back,
no, they're cutting him. They have, they have, they have done everything but specifically say we are
cutting him in the offseason and Devonte Adams. The with Rogers, you got to look at the injury
proneness. Mm-hmm. He is the older quarterback. Yeah. And then what happened? He had four plays last year.
And that was it. And he was out. He started with it. Zero passes. You know, I mean, I
only if there's a desperate team out there, if I can put odds on it, I'd say 60, 40, no.
He had said he wants to come back. And he wants to play in 2025. Yeah. But we'll team take them.
That's what I'm saying. That's the question. That's why what I was leading to with that one is I think
it will be, I think there will be a team that gives him a shot to prove that it was just the jets.
And if we're being honest, you look at how Sam Darnold is doing. You look at how other players
are doing. Maybe they some became Zach Wilson a shot next year and somebody gives Aaron Rodgers a shot.
But with the fact that he wants to come back and you were saying that it's slim pick and
so I'm who would put up with him. Yeah. Who's, you know, you know, somebody wanted to sign
him and start him. Who would you pick? Like, what do you think it's going to be? Not who's your
fantasy booking? No, no, um, who might be hurting, who might want? Maybe Tennessee possibly,
he doesn't have a house in Nashville. And Vegas possibly, he wants to play in Vegas. That has been said.
Those would be my top two. Those are an excellent too, Don.
Rob. There's, I think he just goes farther down the east coast to either Carolina or Jacksonville.
I, I cannot see Jacksonville being the answer unless they trade Lawrence.
Don't be shocked. Aaron is an interesting pick there.
Personally, I was, I'm leaning towards the, the Titans aspect similar to Don because the Titans
aren't very high in the draft order. Plus he lives near Nashville when he has his choice.
It's, it's really interesting to see both him and Adams allegedly getting cut
although it's not surprising for him. Adams. I, I, I kind of, I don't know.
I don't know if I'm more surprised because everything we've seen from Devonte is that he still has it,
not to the extent he used to. But the other part is, is it does that become a package deal wherever he goes.
Well, I think with Devonte Adams, I would, I would say that's going to be a camp decision
because if Tyrod Taylor really is the answer, that's the guy that can get Devonte Adams the ball.
But the, the just is is that the, the jets have basically confirmed that Adams and Rogers will
be cut in the off season. Big run back by Duke well into Ole Miss Territory.
Miami was giving three to Cleveland on the road. Sorry. I assume you missed that report.
Today, I haven't, yeah, I've read them Rogers and Adams are being, that the Rogers and Adams
all that confirmed to be cut by the jets in the off season. Oh, okay. Yeah, I did not read that.
Minnesota was getting one from Green Bay, but they don't need it because they win at home by a safety.
Another game where it sucks to have the underland. Atlanta goes to Washington and loses by six.
And Monday night, football, shout out Teddy Bridgewater.
Back in the league. Love that man Detroit, over San Francisco, 34. I will finish the year in
night place in our, in our fantasy league, with a convincing victory that meant,
not a, but I'm not in last place. So I'm did better than I did last year.

With a team that should have done better, but, you know, that's why they call it gambling by
friends. I'm good. All right. Let's go to some NBA standings real quick in the Eastern
Conference Atlantic Division. The Toronto Raptors are terrible.
8 and 26 right now. They're 16 and a half back in their division and it's January.
That's there. 4 and a half back on Brooklyn. The net's now two back on Filly.
Sixers are nine and a half back on the next. And it's only a half game back on Boston right now.
By the way, New York on a nine game eater.
In the central division, the bulls are terrible, but they're only four below 500, but they're
14 and a half back in the division. They're a half game back on Detroit.
Detroit Pistons, former champs of basketball are a half game back on the
Pacers. Pacers now two and a half back on Millowaw K and Cleveland who's on an eight game
eater. Now 11 games up in the division. In the southeast division, the Washington wizard.
They've won six games. They're feeling pretty good about themselves.
They are 12 games back in the division. They're a half game back of Charlotte.
Hornets are a 10 games back of Atlanta. Atlanta, a half game back of Miami and my beloved
heat now a game back on Orlando. If we were playing America's favorite game show,
which with the NBA, it's not as impressive. Number wise, Washington's differential is a minus
30. Right now. Is that the worst? It is. New Orleans is not far behind them.
In the western conference, it's a very varied eater. The Sacramento Kings four games below 500.
They're four and a half back in the division. This division is very snug. They are a game
back of phonics, the sons who got in the fight with the heat the other night. They're a game back
on Golden State Warriors two back on the Lakers. The Lakers now a half game back on the
key pairs in their new arena. In the southwest division, Fly Pelican is five and 29.
Making it happen. They're 18 back in the division. They are 12 and a half back
of San Antonio San Antonio. Now two and a half back of Dallas. The fabrics are two and a half
back on Houston Houston. Houston, who is a half game back on Memphis and speaking of this division,
we would be remiss if we were not sending our deepest and hopes out to the people of New Orleans
after the incident on New Year's Eve. I woke up New Year's Day and that was the first thing I read
and I just ran my heart hurt because I had some friends down that way. They've all reported in
that they're okay. So we just want to send our deepest out there. And in the northwest division,
the Utah Jazz, 7 and 25 right now. They're 20 games back. Why about their glad they have hockey now?
Yep, they're. The other hockey very much. They're four back on Portland Trailblazers,
six back on Minnesota. Timberwolves are two back on Denver Denver. Now eight back on okay,
see, oh my goodness. Okay, sees on a 12 game heater right now. Just winning games, brother.
In the NHL Eastern Conference at Lannick Division, the sobraise. They're terrible.
Yeah, 32 points right now. They are at 16 points back. First place are two behind the red wings
Detroit, two back on the Montreal Canadians. Uh-huh. Thank you.
Uh, Montreal is three back on Ottawa. The senators are two back on Tampa Bay,
lightning, two back on Boston. Bruins four back on my beloved panthers who are tied with Toronto
right now. And where are we going now, Don? Make your plans and division. Thank you. The New York
Rangers currently in last place. They're 21 19 points out of first. They're two back on the islanders.
Islanders three back on Philly. Philly is tied with Columbus. They're a point back on Donsville of
the Pittsburgh Penguins, fourth in division right now, sir. Pittsburgh currently seven back on
Carolina. The Carolina Hurric Cains are five back on the Devils New Jersey now, two back on
Washington in the Western Conference. The Chicago Blackhawks are still terrible. They're 29 points out
of first place, Jeremy. They're three back on Nashville predators are nine back on Utah.
Hockey team is two back on St. Louis, the blues are five back on the stars.
There's a shortened doesn't wait, but they're trying to get back in it. They're a point back on
Colorado, Colorado, four back on Minnesota, Winnipeg leads that division to buy five. And in the
Pacific division, the San Jose sharks put a pin in it. They are currently six back on Anna
and the lovely ducks are two back on Seattle Kraken, six back on Vancouver, who's a point
back on Calgary, Calgary, four back on Edmonton. Edmonton is now two back on the Kings. The Kings
are now four back on Vegas, leading that division. And now gentlemen, it's time for North America's
favorite game show. What is the goal differential? Where the sun has saved sharks.
I for competitive sake, I want to clarify, Don, you were not here when we did the first one of these,
and my guess was so wildly off-base, it shocked me. So he was here for the first one, you weren't,
you were here for the second one. Okay, I apologize, but I was so far off-base, I did not know
that you had done the original one. So I wanted to give you the heads up to like take whatever number
you might be thinking if it's your first and have it or whatever, because I know I was like three

Well, that's going to be a negative 50. Alex, you know, the funny thing is, I think I guessed
negative 50 and it was so far off-base, I'm going to say minus 25 because I'm following my own rules.
The San Jose sharks have played 40 games. In those 40 games, which means we are over the
halfway point gentleman. They are 11, 23 and 6. They have 28 points currently. They are 6, 12,
and 1 at home, they're 5, 11, and 5 on the road. So at least they're consistent. By the way,
they're on an 8-game skid currently. That's good. Makes 50 more likely. The closest team to them
currently, and I think this is period, but let me double check. It is. The closest team to them
currently is the Chicago Blackhawks at minus 33. Okay, so I'm wrong. Don is over.
But not by much. Okay. The San Jose sharks currently have a gold differential of minus 41.
Which really isn't bad in grants. Oh, no, it's not for big January second, but still.
Bro, so I think there's an 82 in the season of hockey. Yeah, 82. So we have one more. I keep it
in the 7th of the draw. You have one more game and we're way point because, you know,
the all-star games are all right around the corner. Well, I know why you think it's 72
consistently, and it's the same reason I had to learn because the NHL and the NBA have the same number
of games and the thing that was pounded into our head for years with 72 in 10. Yeah.
Next week on this show, we will do our annual best and worst of films of the year. And boy,
is it gonna be a thing? Oh, I'm taping up my hands. This is a fight every year.

And a couple of weeks since we did this. I actually have a few things here. I don't know,
I've been watching so many movies. I don't have any TV. I've been forcing myself to watch more TV.
I'm making this. Don. I'm going to say, since you hadn't been here, I didn't know if there
was anything over the last couple of weeks, like pre-Christmas that you had been watching while you
were traveling. Not really because it's limited where we're at. We only got a couple of times and
then trying to use the, we watched the, we've been skipped a squid games as soon as we got that.
Question, did you get through the whole thing? Yeah. Okay. I am only one episode in and it's already.
It's not, I'm not as hooked as I was as the first season because that gets you right off the bat.
But I cannot wait to get the rest of it. Is it? I'll just say this being very, very, very,
spoiler-free. I like the first season better. I have heard that. That is a spoiler-free take. Yes.
It is efficient on my list by the time. And they, they are happening another release this year in
2021. We get to headlines when we talk about that. Oh, I didn't know. We're just talking
to you. We don't know that. We're not doing headlines yet. Okay. Now, the one I would like to say
is because I've watched one episode with it. No, you've just been on the show long enough done.
But the, the one, I, I have heard so many good things. I had to just throw on an episode.
I'm going to say this. And if one of my supervisors is watching, yeah, I apologize in advance.
I went to watch one episode of creature commandos. The James gun suicide squad parallel
animated show on Max. It's I'm looking forward to. I watched every episode in one go.
I literally intended to watch one episode and watched all of them. I hope this show never ends.
It's so good. It is so brilliant how they are setting it up while still telling the story.
Oh, my god. I don't know. I've seen an animated show better laid out from the beginning.
I've heard good things. So this is a, this is a, what do you call it? It's an animated show on
that. Yep. You can call it a cartoon. It's okay. Okay. But not a spoiler for the show, but a potential
spoiler for the momentary experience that I did not expect. Do you want me to save that for
all fair? Yes. Okay. Then I will save that for briefly all fair. If anybody wants to know what I'm

Anything else you guys watched in the last couple of days? That was the big thing that we're
that I would say that we did. It's gone my lead to watch officially now. I'm just, I'm starting
to get caught up on a lot of stuff, which is what I've been doing. The one thing I did like was the American
version they did between season one and two or whatever that were well, that wasn't, that wasn't
an American version. That was a game show done. Yeah. I was okay with it, but it wasn't great.
Another loss in the entertainment world this week. Probably not somebody who may have been on
Alex's radar. Maybe on Don's definitely on mine. We lost Linda Lavin at the age of 87 this week.
He was the star of the sitcom Alice, which I love for the phrase Kiss My Grits comes from.
Kiss My Grits. Yeah. Great actress. She did a lot of stage later in life too. So we want to send
our deepest out to her family. But we also on the flip side there, we want to say congratulations and
this is not a name I normally would say on this show, but we like to celebrate milestones like this.
The guy that played this situation on Jersey Shore, Mike. Yeah. Nine years sober this week.

announced that Rosemary DeWitt and Alex Pannavick will be joining season two of Percy Jackson.
So more of that casting is happening. I may put that on the list of get caught up on.
Because they just keep adding people to this thing. Didn't didn't Copeland get nominated for that?
Wouldn't surprise me. I'm sorry. It's no longer Copeland. We'll get that. I think I saw somewhere
he got nominated. We'll get to that. I know, but this isn't that part of the show. Alex mentioned
creature commandos. It has been officially renewed for a second season. So you got that. No, I want 17 of them.
I want 17 seasons. NBC peacock has canceled brilliant minds after one season. That did not go
well for them. A big news from Netflix. Netflix. Netflix. Season five of Stranger Things has wrapped
principal photography. So I am expecting it this summer. And that's the final season. I indeed.
I think it might go a little bit longer than summer just because we know how much graphics
and computer generation goes into that show. I wouldn't be surprised if it's closer to Halloween.
I'm hoping. They also announced Netflix this week that they're going to be the live streamer
for the 2027 and 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup. So they're dipping into sports. By the way,
Monday, we'll talk about it here in a minute. And as Dawn said earlier, season three of
Squid Game announced this year will happen this year. Allow myself to introduce myself.
Now, that's one. I'm not going to look into until after I watch it. I'd be very curious to see if
this is actually a season three, or if it's Netflix doing that thing they do where they split seasons.
They're calling them first. I can agree. I understand that, but that was their model before
where you had the first half of the season than the second half. And then they shifted with select
ones to call them separate seasons, even though they are a continuation. And Paramount Plus has
renewed the agency for season two. Hey, we know somebody on that show. We've had somebody on this show.
That's on that show. TV on DVD and Blu-ray. This comes. If I do on on your question there,
and this is for the free. No, no, no. I don't want anything on this, Dawn. I do not want any

or it's allegedly his last one, but I think they've done that before. Going as far back, I want
to say blood work. Was the original one he said he was done with movies after, but that might have
just been the acting side. No. All right. So playing catch up on our 2024 movies. I'm just going
to speed run as much of this as possible. Dawn, did you see Harritick?
Went to one. Was that about? That's the huge grant one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I liked it.
For me, 24. I liked that movie a really good bit. I was surprised how much I liked it. I expected
it'd be good because you grants awesome, but that's definitely worth a watch. I'm going to say
it is a possibility it could be on a certain list possible. I would not be surprised by that.
Yeah. Uh, I don't know. I still have not put it on my list yet, but people are going to have
to come back next week to see where we have it. Call it. The second Joker movie can go all the way to hell.

I'm going to be brief on it because I don't know that it'll be in my bottom 10, but it might be close.
The part is, and it's a fundamental question. I want a response from both of you guys, but we'll be
quick here. If a movie is just bad the whole way through, is it as bad as a movie that you can see
some really brilliant moments in, but is bad the rest of the way to make it obvious? Like,
is it worse? Like, if a movie's, I don't know how to frame this. So I apologize for my rambleings.
If a movie is bad all the way through, you can chalk it up to bad cast, bad writing, bad directing.
Like, if there's nothing redeemable, but I feel like a movie like Joker Faleado
is more annoying because there's like four to five moments that are genuinely brilliant,
and then the rest of it is a dumpster fire. So it's like showing that they can do good things,
and then it's bad. Is that worse or is a movie that's bad the whole way through that much worse?
Go ahead. I can't judge on that because I knew it was going to be terrible walking in.
There's only one cool thing to me in that movie, and it's an Easter egg that not a lot of people cut.
My thing is I think they made just a few good moments like you did just for the,
for the trailers. So, but the question I was asking wasn't specifically pertaining to this movie.
I was talking is it more annoying when you can see, oh yeah, yeah, I know it's bad. We were like,
just holding it. And then place where this could be good, and they just didn't care. Oh,
and just love the Duke's middle set. So like perfect example, there is a few brilliant moments
like you had mentioned with the Easter egg rob that makes Joker feel that much more annoying
that the movie's not good, but then you have a movie like inside that should have been good,
and it's just bad the whole way. And I feel like I'm more upset at Joker knowing it could have been
better than inside where there was just nothing good. What else you got? So, oh, I'm going to go
with a good one. I was trying to save those, but transformers one is so, so good. Rob was a thousand
percent right on this movie. It is so enjoyable. It is so good. It is free on Paramount Plus.
It is worth every moment you watch it even in the post credit scene. And I am so mad about what
you told me today, but I do appreciate the information regarding it. Yeah, we're not getting a sequel.
I feel like there's a couple other new movies that we watch that I have repressed out just because
they were not fun. Okay. There's one I'm specifically trying to remember. Oh, on Max, since we don't
have HBO original movies, we only have Max original movies now.
ado Lake. Now, for those that don't know is out east of me and just on the Texas side of the
border from Shreafport. A lot of really good performances in this, including Dillon O'Brien,
who I still say is one roll away from being the guy in Hollywood. It's just a matter of getting him
in that roll. But it's so weird. I don't know how quite how to place it because it's like there's
a lot of good, but it's like two pretty good stories running parallel and the way they try to
intertwine it. Well, I'll also put it this way. Sean got mad at me because I pegged what the twist was
about 45 minutes into the movie. And even knowing that it was coming, it wasn't disappointing,
but it was it got too weird if that makes sense. It got too weird with something that should be simpler.
But if you like suspense and let's just say the odd sci-fi, not so much star war sci-fi,
you know, where they make something that is, I guess time travelers life might be the best
parallel to put to it where it's a little bit strange, but it would be in considered sci-fi science.
Cattle Lake is in there. It's not a bad movie. I can tell you it's highly unlikely to be in my
bottom 10, but it's not going to be in my top 10. And original goes to the show Cody Hawkins is a
city councilman in Cattle Mills. Which is right. Is that marijuana? No, Cattle Mills is a city.
Oh, I'm taking something else. Is it anything else? I believe that's all the new movies I had.
I'll probably think of something later, but I'll save it for another time. I'm doing these in
alphabetical order. Oh, are we getting the quick hits? We'll start with 273. First of all,
shout out to Neon and A24. Absolutely. And all of the studios that have sent us screener links,
I'll be watching some of those as well. 273 is a the best way I can equate it is it's an
op-ed piece disguised as a sci-fi film. You were telling me about this one. Okay, yeah,
I'm actually interested in this based on your description. So please feel free. It takes place
in the year 273. All hell has broken loose in the world. And basically the story of this one person
who lives in this time, looking back on the events that led up to it, but the events that led up to it
are actual thing. So then it turns into kind of a pseudo documentary. It's a thing. It's not long.
I think I don't think I think a barely clears an hour and a half. One, I know both of you have
seen. I watched yesterday was the bike riders. The access didn't bother me as much as they bothered
you guys. It was Wisconsin. It was the 60s I rolled with it. And Austin Butler is, you know,
we had Elvis meet Elvis because he and Michael Shannon were in it together. So that's a great way
to put it. I enjoyed it. I only had issue with one accent. I want to clarify because if you read
my review at www.theclubhousepodcast.com, that's still our website. I clarify that Jody
Comers accent is the one that I have issue with, but it is the most prevalent throughout. I liked it.
Didn't love it. So Bob Marley, one love. Yeah. Brave White coming immortal. Very much enjoyed
that documentary on peacock. Very fitting tribute to a man who was meant a lot to a lot of people.
And seeing some of the old FCW footage, and he and his brothers tagged champs before
Brave White became a brave, became brave white, and just the way his mind worked. It was
I really enjoyed that. I watched challengers. I don't get it. The performances are great. It shot
well. Terrible script. And it's time jumps way too much for no reason. It is the tennis movie
with Zendaya. Okay. The one that I recognized is basically soft core, which it wasn't.
Civil war. I did watch it. I appreciated that film for what it was. Okay. It does not preachy. It
doesn't tell you who the good guys and the bad guys are. It lets you decide for yourself.
We'll talk more about it next week. I watched a documentary on Hulu called the Contestant,
which was about a guy. Yeah. I know this. Yeah. Hang on. Who was part of a pseudo reality show
where he was locked in a room stripped naked. And basically there was a magazine rack and a bunch
of postcards in a phone. And he had to earn a million yen just through magazine and radio
contest. Oh, there's a radio number. And then it gets worse. And then it gets worse. It's called
the Contestant. It's a documentary on Hulu. It's in Japan. It's all subtitled on, just just over there.
But it's really well done. It ends on a high note, but it's still like the producer of the show.
You just want to just strangle. But are you supposed to? To borrow the old adage,
a bad guy wrestler is doing his job if you hate them, is he supposed to be hated?
Yes. And there's actually that particular instance is the catalyst for a very
popular thing today. We can talk about it off there. Okay. I watched both parts of
Dune made it all the way through for a guy who has four out of his six trainers that he that
report to him that had never heard of Dune. You've really got to be a fan. That's all I'm saying.
Like you have to be a fan. Because Dune is a lot. It's a lot. And it's a lot of story.
Visually it looks good. It's delinue. Doing what he does. Performances are great. It's Dune.
I watched Hitman. Oh, we get to that. I did watch Furiosa.
All style no substance of. I hit. I'll do it with that. We'll talk about it next week. Hitman on netflix.
I very much enjoyed based on a true story. And they do kind of a cool thing at the end of it.
Which made me giggle. It's also Glen Powell doing Glen Powell things.
It's the true story from it was from an article in Texas Monthly where about a guy who was
his normal job was he sat in the van to when they go after people that try to hire Hitman to kill
people. Okay. And the normal guy that does it gets suspended and he has to be the guy and he's
really not the guy. It's actually pretty good. Oh, by the way. Yeah. I guess it's based on a true story.
One thing I thought was cool about the bike riders. The song may play over the end credits.
Which was actually done in like 2001 was the leader of that band is the brother of the director.
And it's about the tubing. And apparently the bike riders was the working title and nobody came
up with anything better. So they just kept it. It's the name of the book. Right. But they wanted to find
something else to call it and I also watched housekeeping for beginners this week on.
It's depressing. Yeah. It's it's it's I had to actually turn the subtitles on.
It's it's all in a different language and the the subtitles didn't come on automatically.
I also watched if with Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski. I have a hard time getting to it. I love this
I love it. I saw just enough of the description of what it's about.
And we know I'm the emo on this show. I can't bring myself to it. I can't bring myself to it.
I'm a subject. It's about imaginary friends. Okay. That's what we're called.
For Sonski wrote and directed. Okay. Or Randall Park dipping on who you are. Yeah. I watched inside out
Yeah. I watched inside out too. How was that? I liked it. I don't like it as much as the first one.
Because the first one's my favorite picks are a movie of all time. It definitely sticks the landing.
It gets a little bogged down in the middle. But it all it works itself out.

This is a foreign film about a bout in 2008 when they were having their first elections.
And so the election officials were having to go town to town to teach people how to vote.
Hmm. It's it's it takes a while to get there.
But when it gets there, I thought the ending of that was brilliant.

So I'm interested in that. The Batman 2 has been delayed to October 1st, 2027.
You know what? I have come to the rule. It's the same thing. I want to say that, oh, man, I can't
remember the Nintendo boss, but he had a great, great quote about video games and it applies to
movies and applies to TV shows and applies to all art. A bad game will always be bad even with
updates, but a delayed game can eventually be good. So if they think they needed delay to make the
Batman 2 better, I am okay with waiting because that first movie and I know it's an unpopular
opinion even on this show is the best Batman movie ever made and I will stand on that. I love it.
Spencer Boldman is going to be playing Ronnie Meltzap.
Really? In a biopic based on the autobiography called, almost like a song.
Spencer Boldman is not working with Chip and Dale series.

There is only one new release movie. Why is this week? It's two movies with the same name. They're different
movies. They are both called the Dame. It's a good kid. There's a good kid and I want

One of them is a 19th century widow has to make an impossible choice when during an especially

So it's a prequel to the other one.
In the winner of 1862 during the Civil War, the US Army sends a volunteer company to patrol
the uncharted Western territories.
And that's also a foreign film, which I don't know where I think it's Italian.
So you got that done for you. Movies on DVD and Blue Ray, we're getting the movie Saturday night,
which I very much enjoyed. It's also getting a steel book, which looks pretty good.
I've seen some of the pictures of the menus. It looks pretty cool.
Armor, this was the Stallone Jason Patrick film that came out earlier this year.
And we talked about this a couple of weeks ago. It is that weekend. You can go this weekend to a
theater in 4k and see seven. It's also getting a 4k and steel book release on Tuesday.

So arrow video is releasing a movie called Rompon War.
And the criterion collection has Yojimbo and San Juro to Samurai film by Kira Kurosawa in a boxet.

they're doing they're doing them right. Well, the interesting note on that one is is that I saw
that he was on a purup here in steel, kind of almost like a try out through out when he was in TNA
and both sides agreed that it was going well. So they signed him to it. I want to say a three-year
contract. No more New Japan on Access TV officially as of yesterday, which is not a big deal
because we're always two months behind anyway. Well, and Bore, Bore, Bore, Bore. Have you
he faculty? Baron Corbin is now a free agent using his real name of Tom Pestock.

to their site to watch archive stuff. And I get that. But now that everything's archived for raw
on Netflix, I'm going to be interested to see if that watermark happens in the upper left corner.

range? He's wrestling. They've teased his next or they have teased a big match with him in Ocata

And this weekend on collision and dynamite on the 22nd, we will have one of my favorite tag teams of

pointer sisters, I'm so excited for it. Yeah, that's weird. What? What? I know Saturday nights
all right for fighting returns this week on collision. They just, they forgot to read it. Yeah.
Yeah, they did. I did. That's not even like, it's a great song, but it's not even the best
pointer sister song. Yeah. And the only thing I relate that to is that super uncomfortable
saved by the bell episode. Oh, with caffeine pills. Uh, drugs. What what I did first is I went to
Max. First of all, it took me forever to find AEW period. They have not lined everything else
up properly. So the seasons it shows are 2023 and 2024, but if you go to 2023, it goes back to
2019 and last night's episode was not on Max as of this morning. Interesting. I don't know if
it's up there now, but as of this morning, it was not there. Now true TV is going to show the
replays on Friday nights in the old rampage slot at 10 Eastern. But I don't know why you'd show
replays that late on a Friday night if I'm going to be able to watch it on Max.
Yeah. Well, I'm looking for something else at this point. What I was going to say was they
were advertising AEW general AEW in front of pretty much every creature command dose episode.
So they were hammering at home. I would have expected it to all be there already. I don't know
who was doing more promos for that AEW for Max or AEW for Netflix. Because I mean, Dave, we're just
belitting for the last week. Yeah. Did anything about the paper views on Max and stuff still?
That's been purified years at all or last time we're still. Yeah. I said a moment ago, Don,
we don't want to happen at revolution. We have no. I mean, I didn't say anything. No, they haven't
said anything. Yeah. You haven't said anything publicly. There's been no reports from internal. There's
nothing. I mean, they got to do so. They got to make it enough and it's on point.
Of in case you were wondering, Adam Page is still healed. He's just weird. And the
casino gauntlet match returns next week and the winner of that will get a shot in two weeks at
what they're feeling as maximum carnage. They own the rights to promoting. Okay. Well,
actually, no, they don't because that's Marvel. Yes, that's why I was confused. It wasn't that a
game on the superintendent. No, too, because it was. I'm carnage because it was based on the
amazing SNES. Yeah. So final battle was a thing while we were on on the break. The hammer
started. But Hammerstein, they did a really great job lighting that is looked incredible. We
got to see a side of the hammerstein we've never seen before because they we got to see it from the
entrance, which WWE never showed of we had the return of Dan Housing as he's done in the
time. Dan Housing taking his his mask. Taking off his Dan Housing mask to reveal Dan Housing.
Yep. Very sting. And then pouring a jar of teeth in the not of man's sewer member of MXM. I
can't remember what they're all now. I believe he still must say. Yeah, but there's something
there's another name with it. Must say Williams. I don't remember. I'll take a look. But yeah,
I just, you were talking about it. Like, there is nothing on final battle that wound up mattering. I'm
sorry. It's there were the couple in our way. It just becomes eat some outwards with um,
duty marshal does a pseudo NWO entrance with his name and in the macho man NWO fonts and then
J. lethal said, hold my beer and came out as black machismo. And shout out to Karen Jarrett for
doing the Sherry Martell cosplay. I did appreciate that. I felt uncomfortable with it because you know
what a steam I hold Sherry Martell in. And I do not hold Karen Jarrett to that remotely same
level. I did it was was yeah. And then the girl that came out with QT marshal at one point
black machismo got confused and picked her up on his shoulder and not a little as a bit.
Lee Moriari put out an open call for the pure championship that was answered by one Nigel McGinnis
and all I'm saying is just watch that promo. God he tore that man down. But do not watch that promo
in public. There are no words around kids. There is Nigel McGinnis. The term that we can say,
idgath. Oh, as idgath as it gets with a microphone. The only belt that changed hands was commander
as your new television champion. While he was wrestling at the same time on rampage. Yeah. So thrown
off. But at the same time, there is that fun Rick rude fact toy that they get to bring up any time
that happens. And you had Bandito and all those vignettes on a W programming, but he shows up here
and now he's injured because cowboy. And Athena did the two face gear which was cool and then on last
week's ROH, she gave Lexine air the boot and building lighting it as well. And Billy Starks is
selling the crap out of this angle and I love it. Oh, she has to. She can't do anything else that
well. Right. But she's selling it and I enjoy it. It's doing your job. And for some reason Blake
Christian is now using vanilla baby. So adjust your roster accordingly. Because he's the
paciest whiteest person since James. In fact, he might give Shamus a run for his money on who
has the least amount of melanin in there. He's the, he's the, he's in the Shamus body, uh, the neon white
hollow fame in the, the Shamus wing. Blake Christian just needs them to say, look, I know how this
works. I've seen my skin give me a spotlight right here. I don't see anything. Anything else you
want to talk about? I, you know, I'm just, I'm pretty excited to get to the rumble. You know,
how much I love it. We got about a month. And one way or another, we will probably be at our
home away from home for live shows on that day. Once we get more nailed down, we will definitely
talk more. And we're going to have a couple of, uh, in person appearances coming up. Yes, we are.

do the, the ticking and the talking and the bird. Yeah, I did one for new years. That was that
