October in the year of our Lord 2020. It is season 11, episode 12. 545 times, this face and/or this voice has welcomed you to the Clubhouse podcast live every Sunday night, 7 Eastern, 4 Pacific on the Vocal Now Network, vocalow.com with a K. Bookmark it, download the app. Welcome. We are live from Vocal Studios in North Dallas, Texas. We didn't do that on the last show. I don't know why I forget that sometimes. But welcome. My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the Clubhouse podcast. And man, have we got a lot to talk about this week kind of sort of because it is a very special day and we're going to talk about that here in a moment.

But let's go around the deis across from me in the co-host chair tonight and we'll talk about why here in just a moment. He is the official fact checker of Sooner or Gator Productions. And I wonder if he knows about the nickname of somebody on his favorite football team. You may know him as Igbonu, but his mama named him Don Ford. I'm going to call him Don Ford. Hey, man. >> Is it Big Ben? >> It is not Big Ben. >> Okay. Cuz that is Big. >> Who? Who was the kid that had the big day last week? >> Oh.

Uh uh >> Cody something or other. >> Yeah. Cody Clay Clay. Uh Clay something. um Claywood if I remember right. >> So you know he's Canadian, right? >> No, I did not know that. >> So you remember when uh >> he was our first pick though. Um >> right. >> Yeah. >> Calvin Johnson when he played for the Lions. >> Okay. >> They called him Megatron. >> All right. >> This kid, we need to find out. We need his name. Don. >> Okay. Okay. >> So he's Canadian. They call him Mapler. >> Mapler. >> And since he and Big Ben seem to be connecting.

>> Yeah. >> And what is what now? And you know, we see Big Ben's number is >> seven. >> And what's this kid's number? >> Uh 21. >> It is not >> 11. >> They're always open cuz it's 7-Eleven. >> Oh boy. Okay, >> that's a thing. >> Okay, I like that. But I am looking at >> Colton Claywood or something. You're looking it up right now. >> Yeah. >> Alex off tonight. It is his birthday and we're going to address that here in just a minute. So live for the first time in this particular studio to not probably a handful of times.

The lady of the house is actually here in three dimensions, kids. She is here. She is Jen Rome. Welcome back, friend. >> Hello, everyone. I'm so glad you could join us. And yes, I fully admit I am one of those uh super quarantiners because it's my choice. You do you. I'm going to do me. It's my choice. >> That sounds like a CW show. The quarantiners. >> Don't s Okay, somebody's watching. I want money for that one. I I I could use some money. >> Got a name for me, Don? >> Chase Clayool. Jace Clayool.

Great interview on the Mackie show this. >> Oh, was he? Okay. >> So, we mentioned today is Alex's birthday. He is relaxing watching football and I I know he was watching the last show cuz he kept texting me with stuff instead of relaxing like he should be. >> So, Friday he comes to the job and he drops off the actually Thursday he drops off this box because as Alex said on the show last week, one of his things for his birthday is he likes to give people things and not get things. Didn't matter. He still got presents.

But I told him I would not open this until the show. He had told me I could. I said, "No, we're gonna do it on the show because there's something allegedly there is something in here for all four of us." >> Oh, cool. >> Including Jay. So, we do want to introduce our engineer and host of Big 12 Talk. He is Jay Gillespie. How you doing out there, brother? >> I'm doing well, man. >> All right. So, you're going to have to come in here. >> Okay. >> Cuz we're gonna I'm gonna He says we'll know what's Like I said, I have not opened this box.

The reason it's open is because Alex opened it. >> Yeah, Alex opened it. >> So, he said there's something in here for all four of us. It includes Jay and I'll understand when I open it. >> So, we got to get Jay in here into the studio. >> All right. >> And this is a very Alex thing to do. He like he very much is I want to do for others. He has a hard time. >> That's why he's one of my closest friends. All right. There's Jay. The very rare camera appearance of Jay. So, I'm opening the box and it looks like all of these things are the same.

So, we will start with this Ziploc bag that has four four metal straws and it looks like some cleaners in there. So, I will pass that around. >> Excellent. I always wanted a straw. Thank you, Alex. >> And it looks like these are all the same thing. So, I'm going to actually open one of them so you guys can see it and then you guys can decide if you want to keep yours in the wrapping or not. All each one of us now has >> our own branded >> a >> we got the clubhouse podcast sticker on one side. We got the cheap podcast on the other.

So Jay, there's one for you. >> There's only two. >> Oh, is there Okay. >> And there is >> Feel free if you want one, take one. I've got one at home. >> Are you sure? Okay. and we'll pass it around >> as I bang on the mic because you know >> Jay, there's your metal straw. >> Coordination is not my name. >> It's not my name. >> Grace is my name. >> And then we'll pass one around to Jen Ro so she can see it. Oh, it's got a very nice like it doesn't have anything. You can see right into it right there.

>> And then one for me. >> It is very nice. And now you got two. >> I know. Okay. But I want I want >> his birthday he's giving us. >> That's what he does. >> But Don, I want you to pronounce the brand of the mug. I I want Don to pronounce the brand of the mug. I just I need to hear this. >> Yukola. >> No. Mola. >> Yukola. >> Mola goes in here. Not Yuka. Might >> yukola. >> It's I think it's ukola. >> Yukola. >> It's yukola. >> I just I had to make >> like he did a really good job. You know how hard this is to do to get these stickers on there as flat as he did?

That is amazing. >> And I'm actually going to take this one to the job. This one's going to sit on my desk >> at work. >> Great job, Alex. Thank you, sir. Speaking of, how many Funko Pops do you have? >> How many Funko I don't have any at work now. Really? Well, because my my area now is smaller >> than my area was in my previous position. >> Okay. Um, Funko Pops have also been known to grow legs and relocate. Just saying. >> Somebody touches my Funko Pops, that's room for capital punishment. >> Well, that was that was very nice of of Alex to >> Wasn't that awesome?

>> Very nice. >> I do I do want to Okay, go ahead. >> But I I haven't brought any of them to work just because I just don't have a big enough area. >> Oh, you don't? >> But I also like the way they're sitting in my studio now. Okay. >> Because they're sorted by genre. >> Okay. >> And the the the Millennium Falcon sits on top of a of a bookshelf now because it's the only place I can put it. >> But let's see. Did you leave it in the box or take it out of the box? >> No, they all they are all in the boxes.

>> Oh, I do. Okay, cuz that's the one you said you thought about taking out. >> Yeah, but I wasn't going to do that because it's pretty awesome. >> I do have a little announcement though. I >> Sorry, Alex said skip the zip lock. Sorry, that's the first thing we did. >> I I I have an announcement it looks like and keep your ears out and subscribe on iTunes. Fellow uh film critic Julie Fisk. >> We love Julie Fisk. >> Okay. She has a Haunted AF show. >> Haunted AF. Yes. >> Okay. Okay. Uh, this coming episode, which is probably gonna be dropped this Thursday or roughly Friday, >> yours truly may be on it.

Really? >> Yeah. I submitted my UFO story from age 12. >> Well, we also want to send a shout out to friend of the show, Julie Fisk. >> Yeah. >> They filmed a her and her podcast partner filmed a segment of their show for the Kelly Clarkson show. >> Yeah. They they officially announced this >> and they were also on Talkus Jericho. >> Yeah. >> Recently, >> but she uh Cyntha submitted this stuff and she goes, "I love and she'll go. We'll probably drop the air with this episode this week. So, >> I am such a fan of her.

She's so wonderful and she's so nice to us every time. We haven't seen her in forever cuz we haven't done a screening. >> And I need to get back on listening to the podcast again. Um I mean, I've been down to um Black Swan down in San Antonio with one of the searches and stuff. So, yeah. I kind >> You guys know that ain't my bag. >> Yeah. >> You know what? I do not like horror movies. I don't like movies that make me jump. But the ghost hunts and the haunted hay rides. Love it. >> I'm out. >> But I won't I won't do a haunted house, but I'll do a haunted hay ride where they can't touch me.

>> I'm out. >> Oh, go ahead. I was going to say, uh, the the UFO story. I'm going to give a little teaser. It's You met my dad, Papa Ford at the wedding. You met my dad. >> Big fan of your old man. >> Met my dad. >> Big fan of your family in general. >> Best best man. Okay. He he was there when I saw it. He also saw it. My uncle saw it. My cousin saw it. We all test to this day. But again, Haunted AF subscribe. >> Check out Haunted AF. Yes, we love Julie and everybody. >> Thursday, you might hear my little story.

So, it' be kind of cool. And I submitted a second one about Gary Murray. Uh, which they may use later. So, enough plugs. All right. Sorry about that. Go ahead. >> It's okay. Talk for just a second. I got >> uh Oh. Uh, >> oh, he's got >> I was going to get the backpack. But a little bit more of the story. I was 12 years old at the time and it was in Sharon, Wyoming on a way to a pack trip and it was pitch black four o'clock in the morning. But uh we'll go in greater detail, >> but don't go into greater detail because then >> show the show will go in greater detail.

>> Okay, fair enough. Yeah, that's my little te. >> All right, NASCAR today. >> Let's hear it. >> It was the Kansas Speedway Hollywood Casino 400. >> How many words can we fit in the name of a Motor Speedway race? >> We've actually put more than that. >> Yeah, >> I know. I'm just I'm wondering what I'm wondering what the cap is. >> Your t I don't think there is one. If it's If it's longer than that one Fiona Apple album title, then we have a problem. You're I've used that joke like six times in the last month.

I don't know why. All right, top 10 finishers. Starting in 22nd, finishing in 10th. This is a name I don't know that we've ever said on this show. In the number 95 Toyota, Christopher, Ring My Bell is there. I'm sure I'm not the first person to use that. Starting in fifth, dropping to ninth in the number 19 Toyota, Martin Truex Jr., The poet William Byron starts in 10th, winds up in eighth in the number 27 Chevrolet in the number 12 Ford Forge starting in ninth and climbing to seventh. The stone Ryan Blay Chase Elliot attorney at law.

He starts in the pole position but falls to sixth in the number nine Chevrolet in the number 18 Toyota starting in 20th winding up in fifth. He's in the hunt for the title right now. He is Kalouch. Brad Kazalowski starts in eighth, winds up in four in the number two Ford in the number 88, formerly driven by the junior. Alex Bowman, the archer, starts in six, winds up in the the bronze medal. The silver in the medal goes to Harvick, who started in fourth, and winning the race, starting in second, but winning the race in the number 22 Ford, Joey Lano.

So, let's go to your current standings because we are getting down to the wire, people. We're in your top eight right now because we're about to get real because it's about to get down to four here in a couple of weeks. Right now in eighth. See, this is weird because the they got the the the points are all screwy. Kurt Bouch is in eighth. He is three points behind Bowman. Bowman is back eight back on Trux. Trux is five back on Lagano. Lagana's five back on Chase Elliot. Attorney at law. Elliot is eight back on Kzalowski.

Kzalowski is 19 back on Denny Moons over my Hamlin. Hamlin 13 back on Kevin Harvick. So, it's not like anybody's really running away with this thing right now. Now, could Kirk get into the top three? It would be very difficult, but mathematically it is possible because NASCAR math. Let's go to where we are next. We're going to give you the next two weeks because next week is pay-per-view. So, we will talk about the race on the show Saturday, but we won't have a show next Sunday. Next Sunday, October 25th, we it is Oh, it's TMS weekend next week, kids.

So, if you're out there on the west side, get ready because it is the Auto Trader Echo Park Automotive 500. So, you want to know how many words we can get into a race? You just found out that will be at 3:30 Eastern on your NBC Sports Network. So, not on NBC proper. And then November 1st will be at Martinsville. So TMS is actually a weekend earlier for the second race than it normally is cuz it's usually that first weekend in November as we get close to >> I wonder how many fans are going to allow in the stand.

>> They haven't said yet, but the race itself 334 laps, 501 miles, so there's a lot going. You can buy tickets on the NASCAR website. So you got that going for you, which is nice. All right, let's get into sports. My heat. God love you. Nobody expected you to go as far as you did. Still love my team, but the LeBron beat us and that's okay. There's always next year. I Here's the thing about this year in sports. I am excited that all three sports championships right now have had at least one team I have a vested interest in because the Heat were in the NBA finals.

You had Stars and Lightning in the Stanley Cup finals. Right now, the Rays are going to the World Series after they beat Houston last night. So, the Rays I I've been to been to that ballpark. I don't know why people dog on it so bad. I like that ballpark. However, what we're worried about starts in about 45 minutes because it is game seven. Atlanta and Missy's beloved Dodgers. I need my Braves to win tonight. This this series the the NLCS has not been good for my blood pressure. Atlanta comes out wins two in a row.

We are moving and shaking. Then we drop one. Then we win one. Then we lose two in a row. And now it all comes down to tonight. So, Atlanta, I need you to help me out tonight because if we pull this off, it's going to be a really good week. That's all I'm saying. >> And I'm going to throw out there. >> Mhm. >> It's your close friend's birthday and your close friend has proven he likes it when his friends get gifts. >> Oh, no. So, therefore, Atlanta, that's already covered. >> I was going to say Atlanta gift would be to win for Rob.

>> Yes, that would be to win today. But >> yeah, that's >> Rachel has told me if it happens to keep Saturday open. >> That's the Rachel. That's the Rachel who who Waterburger follows and tweets back on. >> Dog on right. She does. Don, you need to get that. >> Um, if you need to answer, it's cool. >> Yeah, I'll be right back. >> But you know how I feel about the Braves. I hope >> I know. I know. I know you're you're a Pirates fan and I get that. >> But it's a it's game seven NLCS. I was really hoping we would have wrapped it up by now.

Uh Misty had and I had a nice exchange the other day. She's she's from LA. She's a huge Dodgers fan and I told her I was like, "This this series is not good for my blood pressure." And she's like, "I agree, but both teams have played lights out." And they have. It's like Atlanta wins 15 to1 and then the Dodgers win 12-7. Like there's been no real there's been no real domination either way. It's like just you think you're up and then you're not. This whole series has been out of control. >> But I almost like it better when this happens versus when we have there is one strong contender and they take it all the way through and it it's great for the fans of that team, but when it's close and the teams appear to be more evenly matched and you don't know for sure what's going to happen, I enjoy that better.

It's it's competing at an equal playing field, which is how competition should be in my my opinion. I just I like it better when there's not necessarily a clear winner going in. It's who's going to pull it off >> and it's all happening down in Arlington, which is even better. >> If they win, I'll be happy for you. >> You just don't want them to win. I >> It's okay. >> It's that history. I'm sorry. >> Oh, yeah. We b we For those of you that don't know that don't follow baseball a lot, the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Atlanta Braves in the 90s.

>> Oh. one of the best rivalries to watch >> because we deny you guys and you guys deny us. And the other day >> and he was out. >> Well, one of the the other day was actually the anniversary >> of the Sid Bream slide into home. >> He was out. >> Yeah. No, he's not. >> He was out. >> I have the picture. >> I have picture. >> I have the I have the front page of the paper. >> I have a picture shows he was out. He was out. >> Yeah. But >> and Don, you would be a real Pittsburgh fan if you didn't if you said it right.

He was out at >> He was out. children. I'll get the colored carpet squares out. But he started I have proof. >> Let's get into I know better than that. >> Let's get into the only other sport going on right now, which is football. We are going to start talking about college football uh probably after next weekend because we're still waiting on the Big 10 to start. And >> curling's going on right now in Canada. >> Don, shall I get you a map and show you where we are? >> But but you know what? They have maps.

They have movies about it, so it does cross over. >> I mean, I like curling, don't get me wrong. >> It's a sport that's in movies, so it kind of does cross So, let's get into the NFL. Thursday night, Houston goes down to Tennessee by six. Today, the Colts over Cincinnati. I probably should have started Philip Rivers in fantasy. Atlanta over Minnesota by 17. All of a sudden, somebody told the Atlanta Falcons who they were. Denver beats New England by six. The Washington Football Team loses to Alex's New York Giants.

You got to win on your birthday, brother. I'm very excited for you. Baltimore over by two over the Eagles in the Eagles house today. Dons's Pittsburgh Steelers still undefeated after beating Cleveland like the Browns owed them money. Yeah. 38-7. Chicago beats Carolina by a touchdown. Detroit beats Jacksonville. Jack Town, let's get this thing together because Detroit, actually, no, Detroit more than doubled you because you lost by 18. And my Dolphins, there are two schools of thought right now. One, I am very excited that my Dolphins won.

Number two, how bad are the New York Jets when the Dolphins beat you 24 to nothing? >> I know one person you cannot ask that question to. You will get hurt. It's the Jets. I'm not worried about it. The only game going currently, uh, Tampa Bay beating up on the Green Bay Packers 38-10. Coming up tonight, we have my the the Los Angeles Rams, who is my defense, playing San Francisco, and I've got a running back. So, that's going to be really interesting to see. Tomorrow at 4:00 Central, because we're having to rearrange all these games, you will have Kansas City at Buffalo.

And then tomorrow night, Arizona will be at Dallas at 7:15 Central time. Fantasy updates right now. Actually, Alex and I are playing each other this week, which he said after the draft that he's like, "Man, I got a week. I got a bunch of people on the buy." And then he looked at the schedule and he goes, "And it's the week I'm playing you." And so he's made some moves around. Right now we are I am only favored to win on the projections by two percentage points. So it is 5149 right now. Aon Rodgers is underperforming.

I can't believe the difference between Aa Ron Rogers and Philip Rivers who apparently figured out he was a quarterback was expected to hang 20 points and fantasy hung 31 whereas in comparison a Aon Rogers was set for 23 and a half he has produced 2.8 points and we are in the fourth quarter with four minutes to go. >> Wow. Luckily, uh, Jones for Tampa Bay has overd delivered, but he also had Julio Jones, who had a huge day today with eight receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns. That did not help me.

He had New England's defense today, but I like it when we can be competitive because I I don't ever like to blow somebody out. And that's what that's you're going to blow me out. I'm like, I'm not going to blow you out. Something's going to happen. and then this happened. And so he's got uh three he's got Arizona's kicker tomorrow night left. He's got uh a running back from San Francisco tonight. And he's actually got Andy Dalton tomorrow night. Whereas tomorrow night, I've got Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce for Kansas City.

I've got the the uh the Rams defense tonight. And then I've also got a uh I've got Jared McKinnon. So we're going to see how this works out. I'm currently in second place in the league. I'm 4 in one. The only person that beat me is Shawn, and she only beat me by four points. So, I'm actually the highest scoring player in the league, but Sean's the only one that's beaten me. It's a really weird >> But it's a it's a really good matched league with >> Yeah, we have a lot of fun. >> Sean and you and Alex on it, and I don't know who the others are, but >> you actually know a few of them.

>> I mean, I >> I'm just saying you don't know who it is, but you there there are people that work with us that are in the league that he knows. >> I I know the people. I just don't know which people it is that I know that are there. Um, >> so let's talk about next week. On the buy this week, Baltimore, Indie, Miami, and Minnesota. That is who is on the buy this coming week. Thursday night, Alex is going to turn right around. Oh, they haven't even updated this because it says that the Giants are 0 and5, my friends.

They are one and five. They won that game today. They will be in division at the Philadelphia Eagles. Next Sunday, your early games. Detroit will be at Atlanta. Cleveland will Oh, we have the battle of Ohio next week. Cleveland at Cincinnati in the one game Alex will refuse to watch. Your Pittsburgh Oh, Don, something's got to give next Sunday. >> I know. >> And that's 4 and0. The 5-0 Pittsburgh Steelers playing the 5-0 Tennessee Titans. >> Something's got to give, brother. >> That's that's the makeup game from that COVID from week two.

Remember that? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> That's going to be a heck of a contest. It's supposed to be our by-weeks, but not now. >> But that's why they did. And General, I don't think she was here that day. We were talking about, but the way the NFL structured it. Whoever you played in week two, you had the same buy. So if something happened and it got pushed back, they didn't have to screw around with the schedules. You just played that game, which I thought was intelligent. That was smart scheduling by the NFL because I mean, they've had to shuffle around a lot of things.

But the best part about that is they haven't had to do too much major surgery to move games around. And that's even though they've had more reports than anybody else, I think the other three major sports didn't have enough of a contingency plan. Now, baseball was able to pull it off, but they barely crossed the finish line with this. The NFL is actually doing it right. >> Well, and I think each sport is learning from one another, and it's only going to get better as people start sharing ideas, communicating with each other, um, as more information comes out.

It's only going to get better and be a safer, more enjoyable time. in WWE, you owe me. Watch the other show. >> Yeah. My only worry is what happens if like they have the Super Bowl set and the AFC Champion half the team gets the co after the >> They've got contingency plans and >> well, they can move the Super Bowl back three weeks. >> That is the rumor. They could they could move it back to the end. I think they've they're they're what's the word I'm looking for? They have a plan that can get them at least to the end of February.

>> Okay. From what I've heard. >> And that's not my concern for January. My concern in January is that's when Girl Scout cookies start getting sold >> and it's the Rumble. >> What's What's going to happen with Girl Scout cookies? >> I think all of your Girl Scout cookie sales are going to be all online this year. I just don't know with the way things are going. If I were a parent of a Girl Scout, I would go, you know what, we're going to make you a website because I don't know that I want to be out in front of a grocery store all weekend just with the way because not everybody can make smart choices.

I get that. But the whole point of it >> Oh, no. I I agree with you 100% on that. >> Is to teach the business and the communication. >> Well, and because for this they couldn't even do it online until three years ago. Until three years ago, that was against the rules, >> right? And and I mean, as someone who actually had to go doortodoor >> and then turn around and deliver at a later date. >> I I don't like the changes of I kind of get the being in front of the store, but at the same time, that's still a bit risky to me.

>> I'm not sure. But anyway, I'm You know what? It's not my monkey. >> But can I tell you I did the probably the hardest fundraiser of all time when I was a freshman in high school. >> What was that? >> So while everybody else was selling popcorn and cookie dough and candy, our bandparents association thought it would be a great idea because of the profit margin. We had to go doortodoor selling light bulbs. That happened. >> You want to talk about one of the worst experiences ever? going door todo in the middle of a Florida summer as a third a 14year-old kid selling light bulbs.

>> I thought my orchestras pizza packs were bad. >> All right. Also, >> I was going to say one of the best ones was the blow pops. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. You sell this all day. >> I did a I did a fundraiser senior year of high school and I was the only one who actually parttook of it because there were only a couple of us involved. My mom taught at the junior high. >> Yeah. >> She let them buy them in class. They had to throw them away before they left, but they could have the pot. So I I paid for most of my trip to DC through Blue.

>> We sold ornaments a couple years that were really nice. I think my mom still has them. >> Yeah. And then I hear the Christmas wrap is actually really good. It's just it's expensive. So most people, but it's a good quality wrapping. >> Well, this year you're going to sell a ton of it because there going to be a lot of people at the malls getting it done. >> Yeah. >> Hopefully. Yeah. And they hopefully I mean some will probably be still be out there. I doubt it'll be all mine. But like you're saying real fast the Rumble that if that's not a live event that's going to be so tough because the counting down and the crowds.

Well, let's let's save that for the other show. I like to talk I'd like to go deeper into that on the other show because >> we we now are at a point because we're what 90 days out >> from the Rumble about that area. We probably should start talking about how we're going to approach the next major past Survivor Series. And we'll talk about that on our other show, the Chief Podcast. Look that up. That'll be next Sunday because we're deconstructing Hell in a Cell next week. Also next Sunday in the NFL, Carolina will be at Nins.

Buffalo will be at the Jets. Buffalo and the Jets combined are four- six. Four of those wins are Buffalo. Dallas will be at Washington Football Team. I love saying that. The Packers will be at the Texans. A Aon Rogers, I need you to get the wheels back on, brother. Seattle will be at Arizona. The undefeated Seattle Seahawks by this. This week, by the way, this week we're on the buy. I learn how to speak English. Kansas City will be at Denver as we get into the late games. San Francisco will be at the Patriots.

Jacksonville will be at the Charges. Your Sunday night game next week. I am intrigued by this, Don. Your Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Vegas. >> My Tampa Bay Buccaneers. >> The Royal U. >> Okay. >> At the Las Vegas Raiders. >> Buccaneers at the Raiders. >> The autumn wind is a Raider. I I I can't be in Las Vegas. I just can't do that Ray thing like that. It just doesn't fit. >> It's John. >> I think of the slot sounds. But Monday night next week. >> Yeah. >> Uh Bears at Rams. >> Okay. >> That new Sofi Stadium, which was originally where WrestleMania was supposed to be next year.

This is a solid week of football next week. >> Yeah. as we are getting into I mean think about the fact we're two weeks away from the halfway point of football. >> Yeah, think about it. It's week six already and it's kind of weird because just I think not having the the people in the stands and all the other stuff that goes around with it, it's just it's like another game just to take help us take our mind off COVID. I hate to say it. It's not the I'm not as thus as I have in past years because of it.

I just don't know. >> I just haven't had a chance to watch a lot of football just because of everything else going on. And to a tongue tongo, I can't say his last name, got to complete his first NFL pass today because the Dolphins were up so much that they took Fitz Magic out and let him play a little bit. >> And my thing is I would, you know me, I would love to see the Steelers in December. >> Oh, Alex is now favored to win. He's up 53 47%. But I I would love to see the Steelers next month in November, I just going even if I was able to buy a ticket.

I don't know if I would. >> Excuse me. >> As much as I love my Steelers and love to see the Steelers, >> I don't know if I would. >> I'm right there with you, brother. >> Yeah. >> Let's get into some TV talk. Amazon has given an order to a series based on the I Know What You Did Last Summer. Sorry, >> Jennifer Love Hwitt. How you doing? >> That I'm okay. The Love Huitt. I'm okay with the >> It wasn't the Ryan Phillippy in that. >> I think he was in at least one of them. >> The first one. >> Um I just I don't know.

It's that it's that October. It's that time of year. You would think everything would already be ready to go out there. >> Well, they're they're planning ahead, though. >> Yeah. >> Film it for next fall because we may still be in this position a year from now. >> Yeah. And and I gotta say, I'm not I'm having a hard time with what the options are of what's available right now because I don't like the spooky TV stuff. >> Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. >> So, most of the new stuff is in that vein.

But, >> but it is this week and next week is to watch Great Pumpkin. >> I own it. So, I can watch. So, I can watch it. >> Ryan Philipe wasn't. Yeah. >> Uh CBS has given uh All Access has renewed Star Trek Discovery for season 4. I really should probably start watching that, but Lord knows I don't have enough going on right now. >> Yeah, >> I love Star Trek. Uh, but we also found out this week from the Disney Plus aspect, a couple of weeks ago, we talked about uh Tatiana Maslani was being cast as She-Hulk.

Not so fast. Apparently, she is saying that has not happened yet. >> Oh, >> so there's there's some speculation out there. Now, does this mean she's pivoting so that we don't realize it? Perhaps, but I just thought that was very strange that that that has pivoted. HBO has decided to do a second installment of the miniseries they just wrapped up called The Vow about the cult that the girl from Smallville was involved with. I It's like a bunch of like NVXCM or something >> next. And I've been watching that.

I've been watching >> You're getting a second installment of that next year. >> Next year. So, they're going to go to season two. >> Well, I wouldn't say season two. They're calling it a second installment because I don't think they planned it to be >> like that. >> No, it's it's already been about six or seven hours. six or seven years. >> Oh, yeah. Because it was multiart multiple parts. >> It falls under the I guess the miniseries. It's a min. >> It's a docu It's a docu miniseries because it's a documentary, too.

Uh John Oliver will be back tonight. There was no reason given why they were off last week and it was normally when he goes into a rerun. It's one they did a while back, but they just replayed the show from the week before, which was weird. So, I'm not sure what happened there, but he's back tonight, so I'll be right in the world. Uh, and season two of His Dark Materials will happen next month. They dropped that. That was a The Golden Compass I think was part of that. >> Okay. >> But HBO just kind of rebooted it as a series.

And so season two is coming next month. We have your SNL. I They didn't announce this coming week last night, which by the way, this week not great. SNL was not great this week. >> The intro was good. We talked earlier, but >> did you see who your host is this week? >> No. >> Let's bury the lead on that. Let me talk about who the musical guest is. It's a It's a uh R&B artist, 23-year-old who goes by her h as initials, which stands for having everything revealed. She is your musical guest. Your host, not your musical guest.

Your host is the Adele. >> Oh, really? >> Interesting. >> I am very excited about this. I love the Adele. I am a huge fan of Diodell and I am looking forward to her hosting. >> I think she can do both because there have been other people. >> She's still she's still waiting on the new album. She's probably going to come back and musical guest when the new album drops. >> But you got to kind of get the point. There have been other there have been other people that have done >> Oh, believe me, if she had said she wanted to do both, I am all in.

>> But I think I if I can understand the logic correctly, if I'm her >> I love that she's like her. >> Yeah, fair enough. >> Sorry. >> No, it's a fair point. It's a fair point. But I think I think it's kind of cool of Adele to go, "Hey, there's this this kid. >> Let her be the musical guest and I can host." Because she is hilarious. I don't know if you've ever seen the Adele in interviews. She is hilarious. Like when she won the Golden Globe for uh for Skyfall. >> She gets She had just had her kid and she gets on the stage and you'll have to forgive me, this is a direct quote.

She goes, "Didn't expect to win. Just sitting over here with my friend getting pissed drunk." That was her words into a live microphone. I am now all in. And I'm looking forward to this on Saturday. It's got to be better than although weekend update always good. >> Yeah, it was good. >> I mean, Adele is one of those who's real. >> We have some celebrities who are real. We have some celebrities that think they need to put on airs. >> And all three of those albums are amazing. I I know you wrapped this last last episode, but I thought the debate thing was funny and how they went back and forth and it was what do you think of Jim Carrey as as B?

>> I think Jim Car's doing a good job, but let let Jen finish. >> Oh, sorry. I I thought she was done. Go ahead. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. No, go ahead. >> I've lost it now. >> Okay. I apologize. >> But what my thing is it the first few episodes were so strong. That's why last night was such a disappointment to me. I thought it was okay. I like I like Jim Carrey as Biden. I think and we talked about this a little bit. I love Sudakus as Biden because Jason Sudakus, he gets a pass with me. Although he was on Saturday Night Live for that long and they never did anything with him as Kefir Sutherland, which I think was a missed opportunity.

But the way that they're having Carrie portray him, it's a better comedic balance to the way Baldwin plays Trump. And I think that's strategic because the way Sudakus portrayed him wasn't as much of a caricature. So it would have made it look like they were leaning too far one way with the way Carrie's playing the caricature the same way that Baldwin's caricaturing Trump. So there's a balance there. Even though we know the way Hollywood tends to lean, the one thing I respect about SNL is they don't care who the president is.

They're going to take shots at him and they're going to take shots at the people. >> They always have every president. That's what they do. >> Bush with Frell >> all the way back to to Jer. >> I like the lady who does Harris. Camala Harris. >> That would be Oh, you I just lost her name. >> I'll get it. But especially with the fly last weekend huge >> Maya Rudolph. Maya Rudolph like I'm good. >> I didn't even realize that Carrie was on as I mean >> they just did it this season. It's been Sudakus up until now and they made the call like was like two weeks before the season premiere.

Like it was a lastm minute call. >> But I think I like the way he's doing it. But but I got to give props that they're trying to balance out. Again, I guess this is Jen's level playing field episode or something. I don't know. Maybe that's the name of maybe that's the name of the show is Jen wants a level playing field. >> We all want a level playing field. >> Um but I but I do prefer it when comedy shows can balance. It's it's hard when you're watching something and someone is a really strong really off-the-wall caricature person and the other person is paying it pretty straight.

>> It loses something. when you've got that balance going between the two where they're on the same and good job for Baldwin and Carrie to be able to balance off each other. >> I would say and I would say go back and watch those it's all the cold opens. That's all they've done. Watch the cold opens. Like watch one that they did before and then watch this bounce because Baldwin has not changed the way he portrays Trump, >> right? >> It's it's always been that. Yeah, >> but if you watch it now and you watch the you'll you'll notice the difference, but you'll it'll be easier to laugh at both of them, which is what they want.

And a big news for Don this week. Big news for Don. What's that, Don? I want you to relax. And this is not this is not a joke. This is real. I'm very excited to tell you about this headline. You have the Showtime, Don? >> Yeah. You're getting a 10 episode Dexter revival. Really? Yes, you are. >> When are they gonna be doing that? >> Next year. It's coming. >> Really? Is it going to have same Dexter? And >> all I know is you're Apparently there was And don't say anything because there's going to come a day I'm going to watch that show.

>> But apparently the way the show ended, they're going to address that with this 10 episode revival. And it's only 10 episodes. >> That's it. >> But I saw that I said this has to be on the show number one. That was a very popular show number two. I know you were a big fan of Dexter. Yeah, I watched every episode >> and I firmly suggest do not watch it if you've had surgery and are on a prescribed narcotic. >> Oh dear. >> That's how I watch. >> That would be unfort Yeah. No one not so much. >> You end up with some really interesting dreams if you if you do that.

But don't don't don't. And again, it was prescribed postsurgery. >> But you're Yeah. You're getting it next year. They're going to film it. It's going to be 10 episodes. >> Okay. >> So, you got that going for you, which is nice. >> TV on DVD and Blu-ray this week. There's a sci-fi show called Bitten, which I think is about werewolves. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Season one is available this week. >> Okay. I think they filmed it in Canada. Um >> as most sci-fi shows do because it's cheaper. >> Well, no.

It I I enjoyed it until the I think there were three seasons and until the third the first two seasons I enjoyed, but they kind of went >> Oh, really? Did they Riverdale it? >> They just kind of they like decided, okay, well, we're going to throw this other piece in that kind of goes along that whole supernatural thing. And it killed it. >> Supernatural. uh season one of Quiz, which is a show I've really wanted to get into, which I have not because it's about the the goings on behind I think it's based on a true story about a quiz show that people are cheating and things.

I want to say it was like based on the the Who Wants to be a Millionaire thing in in uh in Europe where they had people that were in the audience that were able to based on the contestant would hear a noise from a different part of the room. That's how they knew the answer and they won. >> Oh. >> So, all right. also end season two of okay it's no ferratu but I have to spell it out it's NOS4 A2 so it's no furatu because it's on the license plate which I've heard great things about that show it's I want to say it's on AMC because I got to have something with the way the Walking Dead's been going >> no big music headlines this week besides the Adele on the Saturday Night Live thing uh but it's just been kind of a slow week in in in the music industry I think the Eddie Van Halen thing sucked a lot of the air out of everything.

Uh people are still I mean apparently the sales of Van Halen music went up like 6,000% last week. >> Well, and you had to tell me twice. I mean you like said it and I'm like yeah and you're like no Jen >> Eddie Van Halen >> and it and at first my thing is like I wonder if Valerie's okay. >> She put out a wonderful statement. Some of the stuff Valerie Burtonelli has done in the last few years. I'm just She's a role model. I want to be like her. >> I went to high school with a young lady who worked on Hot in Cleveland with her.

>> You get to work with her and Betty White. Come on. >> I'm love. I finally have gotten to where I can watch cuz CBS All Access now allows some of the Comedy Central and some of those shows. So, I'm able to go back and watch Hot in Cleveland. So, when I've had one of my days with work because because we know I have my days with my work. >> We do. We do. I will watch me some Hot in Cleveland and >> shout out Robin Wy Pratt. She actually worked on that show and every time I told you my people I know are amazing.

>> Well, thank you Robin for making my life better. He worked on the show The Life Gives Me Joy or The Show Gives Me Joy. Thank you. >> Music new releases this coming Friday. Bruce Springsteen's brand new album, Letters to You'll hit this week. And John Fusakante's Maya, M A Ya. Some quick movie headlines. I thought we had a lot more to talk about than we do this week. So, do you guys remember in the late 90s when the WB became a thing? Probably mid mid 90s, they had an animated series called Static Shock that was based on a DC property.

>> They are they are making a movie. Okay. >> Michael B. Jordan is producing. So, this thing's got legs under it. So, I'm very excited about that. and uh in news that will my make my wife happy. My wife's a big John Gisham fan. >> Mhm. >> And he did a baseball novel called Calico Joe. It's supposed to be for the Rachel. >> They're making a movie. >> Oh, good. >> And the Clooney is directing. >> Oh, I've heard good things about the book. I haven't read it yet, but I've heard things check with the lovely and talented Mrs.

Irvin on that. >> We have your Furiosa. >> Huh? >> If you know what I'm talking about. >> Furiosa. Have you seen Mad Max Fury Road? >> Yeah, >> Furiosa is her name. >> Furiosa was the uh >> Charlene Theion character. >> Charlies Theron's character. >> Why is this not coming up? Am I not spelling this right? Uh, good. So, we have they're doing a prequel based on her character and we have your lead in the film. Her name is Anna Taylor Joy. Uh Don, she was in a movie that you did not dig. It's called The Witch.

>> Oh, that one. >> But she's also she was also in Split. She was in Glass. She was in Morgan, which was a movie I kind of wanted to see but kind of didn't because it's creepy. But she is she was also on Peaky Blinders. >> Okay, that's where I've seen her. >> She was a voice on the Dark Crystal series, which by the way is not getting a second season on Netflix. Let's see if what else you would know her from. They did a series of Atlantis in 2015. But yeah, she that's that is your Furiosa, which I kind of see it.

I I to this day I am still kicking myself for not seeing Fury Road in a theater because I watched it when because I had to do Castoff, which season 2 is coming up. 75% of this show will be involved in Castoff season two. So we have about a one in five chance of winning. >> I'm excited. I I I I like I'm I want to do a test. >> My my first episode comes up in a couple of weeks. So, I got to find out what movie I'll be doing. >> I think it's it's >> November 3rd, I believe, is my first episode. >> Yeah.

And I think I'm the I'm the third of because Alex is I think I'm like the week of Thanksgiving. >> For those of you that do not know of the show, uh Craig, why did I lose Craig's last name? Craig Price, host of Matinea Heroes, who we're going to have back on our show very, very soon. Loved having him on our show. >> He's fun. >> He's a great guy. Big fan. He has a show called Castoff where he takes two of his friends in the press corps and they match up head-to-head and we're asked to recast a movie and it is Doctor Who rule so it can be anybody in history.

I tend to limit to the crop of current actors. I challenge myself a little bit. Did I just come from Wisconsin? I challenge myself a little bit. >> Yeah. >> Uh but I the the qualifying round I won I lost in the opening round and I found out who I am up against in round one of season two. There are two brackets. There are those of us coming back and there's a bracket for new people. So, uh, Alex and Jen Ro will be involved in that particular bracket. I will be taking on the great Valerie Cameron in the first round who I am a huge fan of.

Love her to death. And, uh, we're going to see how that goes. So, get ready for that. We'll give you more details when it comes out. >> I have You're in the third week of it, >> which is November 3rd, right? >> I don't have the dates on this. >> Okay. I got to find out. Alex is in the sixth and then I'm in the seventh. >> Okay, you guys are back to back weeks then. >> Yeah. And Alex is against a Liz Sema and >> he mentioned her. I was like I've heard that name. I don't remember who that is. >> And I'm against a Chaz Evans.

>> I've heard that name too, but I don't know if I've ever met him. We have Coming to America 2 News. >> What's that? >> It is not going to be released by Paramount. >> Okay. It had the rights have been purchased by Amazon Studios and it will be available to stream the week before Christmas. >> This coming Christmas. >> Yes, sir. December 18th. >> Oh, boy. >> I still don't know how I need I need a trailer. I need to see what's going on here because you guys it is well established and well documented on this show how I feel about this film.

Like, do we have to see more than Randy Watson? >> I don't even know if he's in it. >> If he's not, then there's no reason to watch it. >> All I know is very uncomfortable to watch when you're in junior high and you go with your dad to see it and they do the bathing scene at the very first. >> Oh, at the very beginning. Yeah. >> Very uncomfortable moment for my father and I. >> There is that. Uh, only one movie new release in theaters this week because theaters Oh, I did that wrong. Let me do this differently.

There we go. And I should have not gotten out of IMDb, but it won't take me very long because God blessed internet. Don, if I said the name Sophia Copala, would you be interested? >> Yeah. >> Director. Yeah. >> Daughter of Francis Ford was in Godfather 3. God bless her. >> Yeah. By the way, did you see we're getting a new called Kota, which is going to tighten up Godfather 3 a little bit. >> Okay. >> Coming in December. >> A couple of movies. >> She also Oscar nominated director. >> Yeah, she's amazing.

>> Once did a film called Lost in Translation with Bill Murray. >> I was thinking, didn't she do The Virgin Suicide? >> She also did The Virgin Suicide. That is correct. But what if I told you Sophia Copel once again working with Bill Murray? >> I I heard something on this. Yeah, I've seen >> What if I told you Sophia Copa, Bill Murray, and Rashidita Jones? >> Yeah, I did hear on this. >> What if I told you Sophia Copa, Bill Murray, Rashidita Jones, and Marlin weigh-ins? >> I think I'm going to see it.

>> Movie is called On the Rocks. A young mother reconnects with her larger than-l life playboy father on an adventure through New York. But what it doesn't tell you is the reason that she reunites with him is she wants to help him stalk her husband, who she thinks is cheating on her, but she wants to do it in a way that he doesn't notice. Let me tell you something. Big Rashidita Jones fan. Love her. Her and Oh, Jenny Slate is in this. Barbara Bane is in this. Evangeline Young is in this. I am all in for this.

I want to see this. It comes out this Friday. Hour 36 minutes long. You can see that in your local theater, I am sure. DVD and Blu-ray new releases and places. >> I I want to say this. >> Okay. >> Uh there is a trailers for Coming to America out there officially on YouTube. I guess for coming to America, too. But if you look at IMDb, the MDIB, it says Cass Eddie Murphy as a Keem and Slandy. >> Okay, that's all I need to know. >> That's all. >> This man might pass this out as a little boy. Uh, amulet.

I don't know if you saw anything on this, Don. This might be right up your alley. Let me pull this up real quick. This came out earlier this year. An ex-soldier living homeless in London is offered a place to stay at a decaying house inhabited by a young woman and her dying mother. As he starts to fall for her, he cannot ignore his suspicion that something sinister is going on. >> Okay, listen. That's that's it. >> That's the That's the description. >> Okay, >> this I mean, go look at the the poster for this.

I think >> I think I've seen it. I think Yeah, >> you I this is right up your alley. I'm out. I don't do this. But the Criterion Collection >> has two releases this week. an older movie called The Hit. And the one I'm very interested in, and I want to make sure I get this right because I always get these guys confused. 1950, The Gunfighter with Gregory Peek gets the criterion collection treatment this week. >> Nice. >> Very I love that film when I was a kid. >> Uh just one quick thing in tech talk this week.

We say goodbye to something that all three of us have been exposed to. We can say our entire lives. Something that has been around for 60 years is is going to be now no longer a thing in 2020. >> Twinkies. >> Oh Lord, no. You took Twinkie. You'd have a full-blown revolt on your hand if you took Twinkies off the market. Although get the PUMPKIN SPICE OUT OF THERE. YEAH, THAT. OKAY, I'm a pumpkin spice fan. It does not belong in a Twinkie. >> Pumpkin spice don't belong in anything in my opinion. >> But >> well, you do you, I do me.

But I have your back on this one. >> But this was this was something that my mom was a big fan of when I was a kid. >> Is one of my favorite Dennis Miller jokes of all time. Coca-Cola has announced that Tab WILL BE DISCONTINUED. >> NO. >> After this year. The first question I had was tab still a thing? >> Yes, I still drink it. One of my favorite Dennis Miller jokes is there's so much crap in Tab. You look at the can and the ingredients say see next can. My mom loved Tab when I was a kid. >> I still drink it.

>> It is going to You better get it while you can. You better stockpile now. >> They took away my Diet Pepsi with lemon. >> Oh, I forgot about that. That was But I like Diet Pepsi in general and especially now that Diet Pepsi doesn't have aspartame in it. >> They took my Diet Pepsi with lemon. >> They took Now they're taking my tab. I mean, They messed with my CocaCola. They tried to go back and it's still not >> You can't find Coke Zero right now. >> Yeah, it's >> I don't know what's going on. I'm seeing these commercials about a sequel.

Don't care. You took it off my shelves. Can't find Mountain Dew Zero right now. This is a problem. Let's get this fixed. This is America. >> But you know what? We can find toilet paper now. So, >> well, you can >> I appreciate that you you and the Coke Zero and the Mountain Dew Zero, but at least I can buy toilet paper and it's not 60 bucks. >> That is true. That is fair. >> That was ridiculous. >> Anything that you guys want to talk about that we haven't talked about this week? Cuz I got one more thing, but I want to make sure you guys are clear.

>> I I have to say a early happy birthday to the Kimber. >> My older sister my older sister's birthday is Yes. older. I'm throwing it out there. I'm throwing you under the bus, baby. You're a year. two years older than me. We're we're acknowledging that you may look younger now, but you're not going to forever. But my >> I'm an only child, so I don't have that problem. >> My my sister's birthday is tomorrow, and one of her children actually reached out to make sure I knew when her birthday was, which mad props because normally her kids have no clue when her birthday is.

So, props that the three, one of the three, and of course it's the girl of the three, but at least she knows. So, anyway, happy birthday, Kimber. So, I want to talk about one thing before we go because we are six weeks away from Who Needs Lee 2020 December 5th and 6th live from Music City Mall in Louisville, Texas. We are so excited. We are locked, loaded, ready to go. We're going to be meeting with Music City Mall here in the next couple of weeks to lock down all the tech and everything else. Thank you to Vocal for being our official tech partner for Who Needs Sleep.

But one of the things I want to talk about tonight is one of our guests that will be a part of the teleathon this year. Uh, we tried to get her last year, but we couldn't get everything lined up. Last year was a bit of a a booking nightmare that really came down to the wire, but we got it done. But I want I want to show you this real quick. This book right here, this just came in the mail for me the other day. This is by Fitz Kohler. It's called My Noisy Cancer Comeback: Running at the Mouth While Running for My Life.

This is a young lady that I went to high school with, sat next to in band for three years. I I posted this last night and a couple of years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and she chose from the day she got diagnosed to chronicle her entire journey through treatment. Uh she is one of the foremost RA uh not car race but running race announcers in the country. Uh Jen Ro, you will be happy to know that she handles almost she didn't do the Dallas one last year because of reasons, but she is the race host for all of the Wonder Woman races across the country.

>> Oh, excellent. >> Uh Fitz is an amazing human. I love her to death. Uh like I said, sitting next to her in band for three years. We had a lot of fun talking. She played French horn, I played tener sack, so we were always sitting right next to each other. But she has released this book and I have not started to read it yet because time, but I just got it in on Friday. So, uh, she will be part of the show this year and SKV is going to help me interview her, which is going to be awesome. So, I need to make sure I get the feels on that.

>> So, uh, what I love about this, first of all, >> she is actually a fitness guru. She has actually been a national fitness correspondent for both Office Depot and Disney. Fitz is she's you will nar find someone more determined and more focused than her. She's always doing amazing things. You can follow Fizz Fitzness on the social media. That's her company. F-it TZNs. And what I wanted to show you what was really cool when I ordered the book. You can go to fitfitness.com to order the book. It's uh 28 hardback and you can get it autographed.

Uh she's got a bazillion of these things that she had to autograph. And you know, I got mine autographed. Got to support my family. And so my thought process was, I'll get it in, it'll say, ' Rob, thanks for buying the book, whatever. And I would and that would have been cool by me. I'd have been totally okay with that because I mean, she had a picture. She had books everywhere she had to sign. Can imagine she had cramps in her hands. So I opened up the book when I got it because I just wanted to see, you know.

First of all, they got this really cool little sticker bookmark that she gave me that says, "I can do hard things." Which is what I need to know right now. We need to order some of this from her. >> But it says, "To Rob, my forever friend, sending you noisy love." And it says, "Go Cougars right here." Uh, lots of noisy love. Cougars was our high school mascot. So, what I know now is not only did she sign it, she knew who she was signing it to. And that that brought me so much joy that she knew the time she saw my name and said, "That dude." And so I could not I I promise you I will have this read before the big show.

One way or another, I will have this book read by the big show having her on. She'll be on Sunday morning, December 6th. I cannot wait for her to share her story with you guys because she's an amazing human. And if you go and get the book again, you right now you can get it autographed for you. She is her story is amazing and I can't wait to share this with you guys. >> And what was that site again? because you know it's book. Let me I'm going to pull it up and make sure I'm getting it right. >> Yeah.

See, I have to say he's had the book sitting here and I've almost had to sit on my hand, but I can't talk if I sit on my hands because I want to take the book. I want the book. The books. >> Yes. No, you can't. You can't read the book until after. >> I am Jen of all the books. So, I need to order my >> Okay. So, if you go to fits fi tznes.com, that is where her blog is located. And when you pull it up, it's automatically going to give you a popup to order the book. Uh it, like I said, you can get it right now, which I'm very excited about.

She also her her website, she'll give you uh she's got recent posts of some healthy recipes. Right now, you can get salsa verde shrimp, broccoli, pesto chicken, chocolate energy bites, and peanut butter banana oatmeal bars are the four most recent. She is still out on the road, still hosting races, still doing what she does. She'll actually, if you follow her on Facebook, she'll give you a a fitness challenge every day of of how many of different uh exercises to do. I can't again, I can't wait for for you guys to see this story.

She's just she's one of those people that makes you want to be a better human. And she no matter what your level of physical fitness is, no matter what you do, she's one of those people that's going to just help inspire you to be the best version of yourself. and the fact that we get to have her now. She'll be of course remote because, you know, she's still recovering and the travel and everything, but we are going to have her live on the show December 5th and 6th, Music City Mall in Lewisville. Again, we can't have a studio audience this year, but the area we're going to be is glassed in.

So, we're going to do like the Today Show thing with it, which I'm very excited about. Make sure you follow Who Needs Sleep on all your social medias, and you can take bets on how loopy I'm going to be. And I'm I'm going to sleep better this time cuz I didn't give myself enough rest before the show last year >> when I saw >> to buy you an Uber gift card. >> No, I'm good. I'm good. Uh but and it's a lot closer this year than last year. Not by much, but still. >> I just saw that picture of me an hour 36.

I was done. I didn't realize how bad it was. >> Oh, yeah. >> And it was because I didn't pace myself well enough before last year, but this year I'm going to pace myself better. We've got returning guests. We've got brand new guests. We've got cool stuff for you to watch. It's going to be a great show. I cannot wait until you guys can join us December 5th and 6th from Music City Mall in Lewisville. You never know how involved this show can be. Sometimes we're all there, sometimes we're not, but we do it because we love it.

Hash ask me why I do this. Uh we do it to raise money for two North Texas charity organizations. It's the cancer blastoma lymphona lymphoma ward in Cook Children's Fort Worth and Cancer Support Communities North Texas. And we'll probably have to have Devon on again before the big show so we can talk about it. He's been very busy trying to get everything locked down and ready to go. We'll we're going to have a board meeting probably this coming Saturday morning so we can check in. Uh the Donna has been doing the Donna things, helping me stay organized.

We want to send a shout out to the Donna who got herself a great job a couple weeks ago, >> which y'all don't know. >> It's just like right over there. It's her her job is right by the studio. >> But that's awesome for her compared to what she used to have to drive. >> And Rachel Rachel doing Rachel things >> getting tweeted by Waterburg. >> Everybody has been has really come together. This show's going to be amazing this year. It really is going to be so much fun. The fact that we're going to be you don't have to really pay to be in the studio audience.

She can just come look in the window and have a sign that says, "Hi, we're from Canari." I don't care. Just keep it clean. That's all I'm saying. I took that from Tom Gerswald. I can't clean. >> It's It's a family rated show. >> Can we put I love pumpkin spice on the outside. >> You can put that if you'd like to, Don. >> Okay. And I I promise you I will chastise you for that. So, but again, happy birthday, Alex. So glad you got to just kind of hang out at the house and do as little possible today that you're getting to watch some football and hang out.

You've earned it, my friend. Uh, we got together yesterday and when we ordered food, the number they gave us was the year he was born >> and they didn't even know it until we told them. So, >> and and thank you, Alex. >> Yes. Thank you for I I love, you know, this is amazing and awesome and very kind of you to do. So, thank you very much. >> You could you could do damage to somebody with this. >> That's pretty solid. >> I I now have something to make sure I'm safe getting to and from my car. >> No, this this is going to this is actually going on my desk at work.

I'm I'm for real. Well, I I could have it on my desk, but then still be at home for right now. >> That is true. >> When we go back to an office, I'm going to be kind of torn between a smiley face mug and a show. >> You can do whatever you want, man. >> You got room on your desk. >> I do me, you do you, he does him. >> That's how we they do things.
