Wrestling Christmas because it is the Royal Rumble day. The road to WrestleMania starts tonight.
We are live at ex golf in Frisco just north of Lebanon on Preston Road. Come hang out with this.

If that person wins the Rumble, we don't give you $200. Couching. Now,
something we've never done before. If the person you have drawn is the first eliminated,
we're going to give you $50. Couching. So, sorry. So, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, time out.

There have been over 1,300 superstars in the rumble over almost, uh, gosh, almost. Are you going
to do the run sheet with the weight in the mask? No. But I do have some interesting facts.
Oh, okay. Five number 30s have won. As of last year, yes. Only three people have done it
back to back. And that is Hogan, Sean and Austin. But it hasn't been done back to back in 26
years. And we'll get to a while here in a minute. Cole did screw that up on SmackDown last
week, but he did self correct. I also thought it was interesting that punk's last televised WWE match
was this event 10 years ago. Yep. I believe it's 11. They said they said a decade. Well,
I think they were making it simplified. I think it was 11 years ago. Don, if you don't mind. Don,
how many we talked about this before? How many women's rumbles have there been? Are we? It's been five
or six, right? I have to look. Let me look. There have been no multiple winners in the women's.
I think that. No, no. That's the only one that's been in all of them.
I just know my girl won the first one. So I was happy. That is true.
So let's run the card a little bit. United States title on the line.
Logan Paul takes on Kevin Owens. Steven. Okay, I'm going Logan Paul. I love everything this
kid's doing. And he's doing it at such a high level so quick. He's amazing. He's so good for
the business that you just you gotta let him skyrocket to Mania with that thing. And then you
can really start flirting with the idea of some dream matches going that way. Alex, I've said it
before. I'm going to repeat my unpopular opinion. Logan Paul is this generation's John Cena.
He's going to win. He's going to hold on to it. The kids love him. The adults hate him. Done.
Logan Paul will keep the title. It might be shenanigans, but he'll keep that time. Prime bottles
included in this match at all over and under on three. I'm taking the over. All right. So I'll have

Championship tonight. Roman Reigns versus Randy Orton versus AJ Styles versus L.A. Knight. Yeah.
And I've got a couple. I've got one interesting thing to talk about here because last week on
SmackDown, I was thinking about the fact that people make such a big deal about the fact that
L.A. Knight is 40 years old. So I went and did the research on all four participants in this match.
L.A. Knight is 40. Randy's 43. AJ is 46. Roman's 38. Yeah. Steven. I'm, I'm riding with Roman. I mean,
I don't know why you would pick anyone else. I would love to see Randy do it. It would be a
nice little swear or something. But it just, it doesn't make sense. It's going to be Roman retaining,
running wreck shop to Mania and then whatever happens there is, we'll be history. Alex, the only way
this isn't Roman is if somebody else shows up and my fantasy booking becomes true. But I don't see
that happening. I'm sticking with Roman done. Unfortunately, Roman's going to be shoved down
or throw it's even more. That's getting old. Like if that is what she said. Yeah. And also,
and we know right now, it was 2014 when last one punk was in the rumble. So 10 years ago.

Well, what I want at Mania is I want to be officially recognized as the tribal chief. You
can, you don't have to defend the title. I want the name. And that's how you protect Roman with
the title because as I've read the current plan is for Roman not to drop the title until Mania
next year at a minimum. And that, that to me is the only thing that makes this story interesting
if anything. Yeah. I saw that they're trying to hold out rock Roman for the next Netflix deal.
That happened. So I think they're just trying to talk about that here in a minute because that
happened this week. Well, there's also been rumblings about a very large check being cut by a
land down under to try and get that match happening then. I had another chamber. I had a chamber.
Well, I had another fantasy booking of that too. Well, to clarify, you remember my fantasy booking
is rock costs Roman the match in some way, not directly, maybe directly. And then you get the
tribal warfare, tribal combat, whatever they're going to call it at Mania for the head of the table.
Oh, I haven't even, I don't think I've told you the fantasy booking came with last night for
for elimination, limitation chamber. You have talked about it here in a minute. Steven was,
you were there for that that board at the old place, right? And it called it and it was like a team
triple age versus team Mark Merrill. I was like, that was 15 years ago. Yeah, I was bad.
Great. Let's talk about rumbles. Oh, oh, yeah, we got another shirt here in the first

And we only know of like six in the women's right now. And we're at 11 in the men. Don.

Don, but I don't necessarily want to. I can't see anybody else being a good pick in that unless
it's Becky, but I think that happens sooner. And I think it's going on, brother. Good to see you.
I'm going to say if I can't go back on. Yeah, you are quickly. I think that they're going to
try to get damage control being all the belts in the women. And if they, she gets the
call with Bailey as well. Yeah. So she gets it. She can go after the other title. And they,

this one for a while. And they've been giving her a lot of a lot of acknowledgement. And like,
even triple H was a couple of paper views ago say she's the MVP of the woman's division,
but no one's really paying attention. I think he just basically told you, all right, this is

If it is this obvious, at least to our understandings right now, is that why the women's
has to go first? I think so. I don't know. Do you agree with us? Let's clarify. It wouldn't

be or celebrating question mark 40 years of Hulcomania, 40 years of distractions. Let's go. Brother.
I can't, I can't pick, I can't pick the winner in this. There's a way I'm leaning, but it's not
necessary. I think this is the first time where you can kind of go into this blind and there's,
they've lobbied it so well that they give you kind of four options, but it might not even be one
of the four options just based off what they want to do. They did a great job highlighting. Yeah,
like, like, there's good cases for the four that they've been really addressing, but I mean,
we all know Andrade El Edelow is winning the Royal Rumble. You know what, I wouldn't be surprised
if he gets hot shot at, but if I have to make a pick, Cody goes back to back.
Because they've been talking about it so much, because nobody's done it since Austin,
and that was in the 90s. It has been 26 years. I feel like we're setting that up. And I still think
last year him being 30 was the wrong thing to do because everybody knew.
Yeah, I'm, I'm anti Cody. I just, I, I, he, who you got? You know what? I'm going to do the wild card
pick of this, but I'm going to go with Gunther. I like that. I'm going with him. I know it's not
going to be right, but I, I mean, I did call Dolph Ziggler to win random wins and it happened.

fruit for punk. But at the same time, going back to what you said, the only way Cody should have
been 30 last year is if something happened, like what happened to our truth where he gets jumped

Absolutely. That was on Twitter today. But I, I, I feel like I love the booking for this. They've
highlighted a lot of good people. I feel like Gunther is going to get his shine, but he'll be like
that, that middle of the rumble match chasing Cain's record with eliminations. But then it's
ultimately going to be punk coming in at like 28. I think, I think Gunther's in your final four.
I agree. I 100% agree with that. Done. Our truth was mine. I wish that. That happens.
We all win. If that happens, greatest, non-weekly show of all time.
Well, think about it. Remember, we almost, we really thought for a minute,
Santino was winning that chamber match. Remember that rumble? No, no, there was the chamber match,
too, for the title. He was like, he was like, there, and he was like getting high.
Because he just, I was like, brings up the $100 bills. I was, oh, okay. So,
I would say Cody for the back to back, but if I had to bet and pay, yes, it'd be Gunther.
If I had to really pick one, okay. So, as the card stands, grade the card, done.
With only four matches and let's get some thing, especially if Gunther wins as much as I like it,
I'm going to say B right now for a rumble. Okay. Steven? Because it's the best plea of the year.
Overmania. It's the best plea of 2024. Yes. That's a hot opinion. So, anyways,
I'm going to, I'm going to give it an A, just because it's the rumble, surprises,
everyone gets excited. And like, if you don't like wrestling, this is the one event I always tell
people you will love it because you don't know what you see. Alex, this is my favorite event.
It always is my favorite event of the year. I agree with both statements. I hate that there's
only four matches. I miss the days and this might sound unpopular, but I miss the days of the
double duty where you had like a tag match and then you were in the rumble or you were defending
the IC title Gunther and then in the rumble or something of its ill because it also helped
explain why these guys are still great, but maybe they don't win the rumble because they're tired,
but the way that this is being booked even with four matches,
it's a solid A for me because I honestly don't feel confident in any of my picks. It's awesome.
I'm sitting at a B plus just because I'm doing that thing where I want to give it room.
That's fair. But I mean, we are going to say this will be, this will be the most fun rumble
we've watched in years for a couple of reasons. One, because of what you mentioned, Alex,
two, because we're here at X Golf and Frisco. Oh, I got it in there. Yeah, I do want to say,
which we talked on the last show is I think that they should every year make a tradition where
the big four titles run the line in the two rumbles. But remember, we talked about this last
last week on the show. I disagree now. I agree at every major every title should be on the line.
The rumble to me is the exception. We have a comment. Just click on the little tab and tell me
what's going on in there. Don's learning the system. I usually do this, but I'm on the other

I wouldn't either, but I don't like that would make me sad.

I'm really looking at right now is because I'm going to say one of them there.
Kazuchko Kata or Jacob Fattu. If it's Fattu, I will lose my mind because I think he's on the
contract. They've been having a lot of discussions with other people for one offs, but he also
signed a five year deal either last year or the year before. Two words.
Braun Breaker. I think that's a given that that's going to happen.
And he's going to go and he's there. He's going to go. He's getting so much better.
Actually, let me put it this way for you. I believe he's in the match. I wouldn't be surprised
if he's the highlight of the final four because you have the three guys that can win it and one
that you kind of don't expect which years ago was Morella. You you mean to tell me you don't want
a random like Mr. Perfect final four like I love that man. I always let this work. I miss him.

because that didn't work because we have a carousel of Raw's going to Netflix. NXT going to
CW. It is no longer the CW. It is just CW now. Don't ask me why I don't work there. Because, you know,
it really messed back down. Now, now, you say 50 half a billion. Is that what Netflix is paying
for the right? Yes. Per year. Per year. Half a hundred million dollars per year. So they keep on

So we also found out that if you have the lower subscription rate, you will get commercials,
but if you have the higher subscription rate, you will not get commercials, which now means I have
to commit three full hours versus two watching it on delay without the commercials. Just know if

live or do it. Because I don't know if anything live on Netflix. No, they've done a couple of
