And then you put it in the smoker at 180 for an hour and then 250 for three hours. I used cherry wood.
It was a little strong.
I think the next one I try, I'm going to try apple wood and see if it's a little bit more subtle in the flavor, but I thought it was great.
It was a little much for the lovely and talented Mrs. Irvin.
It's just a whole pineapple.
You just peel it.
Leave the top and bottom on.

Now there is one stand on the far end where you can buy things like funnel cakes and adult beverages and things of that nature.
But and they you goes like through like the eighth inning.
And it was fan the food.
Although it was barbecue chicken involved is fantastic.
Like you can only get one burger or can you get two burgers or all you can eat.
So if I want to go if I want three burgers, I want two chicken.
You heard yourself.
You just walk up there with the tongs and you put the things in the tree.
Oh, it's kind of like a buffet.
So it's not OK.
There's multiple functions.
But yeah.

And you know, all the condiments even had pico, which was awesome for my nachos.
It wasn't just cheese.
Like you could put jalapenos on there if you want to and let us know.
It was a great spread.

Let's go to the AL East since we're talking about the American League Toronto.
There's on three games under 500, but they're only seven and a half back in the division.
They are a game and a half back on the race.
The race are now a half game back on Boston white socks.
Five games back on the Yankees Yankees currently five, a half a game back on Baltimore.
Baltimore leads a division that 24 and 12.
In the AL Central.
The white socks are terrible.
Put a pin in that.
They are nine and 28.
But they are also not alone in that box.
They are 15 games back.
They're 10 back on the Tigers.
The Tigers now two and a half back on Kansas City.
Kansas City is hanging in there.
After a very, very rocky start.

So we may possibly try to hit one of those games
and Chelsea is out there.

I don't know because if we go to that game,

But to clarify, I feel like this is in the same vein
of when we called the Colin Farrell movie,

Reboot of the reboot.
Because the original was actually a reboot
of the English version.
The British version, which did not go nearly as long.
But this is going to be something entirely separate, Don.

Netflix also announcing, we talked about the last season
of Cobra Kai is coming up.
It's actually going to be a three-part event.
So it's not gonna be like a full season type of thing.
So prepare a year and a half.
I should probably start watching that.
Paramount plus announces that they have renewed
lioness for season two.
So apparently that did very well.
And season two of Frazier announced today
will have Perry Gilpin as Raw is in it.
So I'm very excited.
Because I really did enjoy the original run.
Because I thought that cast was just fantastic.
They're also airing a documentary about Cindy Lapa coming up
called Let the Canary Sing.
It's gonna debut June the fourth.
I will be checking this out.
I am a huge fan.

Now, the real interesting thing with this,
Ralph Einesen has been phenomenal in small roles everywhere
and interestingly enough,
probably the biggest, most recent one.

I've not watched it,
but I've heard wonderful things.
So, but the concept of the Green Knight
being a larger than life character,
Ralph Einesen is that guy.
If you need somebody to sound big and imposing,
look big and imposing, he's your guy.
So, you go back through multiple movies of that ilk.
He was one of the very large seafaring killers.
We'll call it in Game of Thrones.
It's, he's just a big, bad, wonderful actor.
And hear me, Disney.
Don't screw this up.
I know a lot of people have been up in arms of the rumor
of what they're doing at the Silver Surfer.
I'm okay with it because it's in canon.
So, and it's a great piece of that story,
which I think is kind of cool the way they're doing it.

talking about this next movie that is getting a sequel, boys.

they have said they are limiting Marvel to up to three movies and up to two television
series per year.
They're tapping the break a little bit.

Well, I also wonder if there's any part of this that has to do with the super streamer
coming down the pipe between Hulu and Max and anything.
And there's some level of holding back for certain properties that may work
better in conjunction with those other outlets.

this. So Don, you mentioned earlier about Nick Khan's quote from a few weeks ago that what he's now

Canada. There is a bit of a change to that opinion because the KSA is asking for a major either
mania or the rumble to take place in Saudi Arabia as part of a new deal. That has not been fully
verified as of yet because as we know if it's mania, it's going to be at least two years. I don't
think they announced the rumble yet, but that would be awful close to the November show they do.
You pushed it. Well, they were on the rumble. Do you see, do you see funding getting mania in the
next 10 years? You need to know that it's going to depend on how this goes. If it goes well because
the problem again, like last Saturday, I'm literally in bed watching the plea.
Because it's, you know, noon here. It's the logistics of it have to be worked out. It worked for all in.

its finals at the end of this month. They are actually doing something that I've been thinking,
they've been needing to do for a while. Some of the first round matches will actually happen
at how shows this weekend, which I think is really. Yes. You have long been a proponent of the
exact phrase, make how shows matter. Yep. But here's how you do that. I am a big fan of the way
King of the Ring was in the beginning where you did the whole thing in one night.
Should we turn King and Queen of the Ring into a two night event?
Yeah. First two rounds on Saturday, second two rounds on Sunday.
I would say no. I like, but I am also a fan of the New Japan style of booking where you create
a tournament of some kind. It gives you about a month's worth. But what I do like in that concept
is give us the last two rounds on the show. Open the show with your semi-finals across the board,
close the show with your finals. But go ahead and let it be a, I don't want to call it a slightly
longer plea. But throw two to three, maybe even four matches in the middle because we're already
at four matches for the semifinals. But I don't think any of those would go terribly long. I think
your longest would be 10 to 15 minutes on the men's side and on the women's side. I think it would
tap at about 10 minutes. So what you're looking at right there is about a just short of an hour.
Then you have another hour or so of other matches, one or two, maybe. And then you have the finals
after that, which would be your last half hour to 45 minutes. Don, what are your thoughts?
I think I would keep a one night. I would not do two. And I would probably do the semi-finals
and then the finals. But my thing though is, and this is one thing we talked about, we said,
what would you do if you're the company? We talked about a later date. One of the big things I would
do is if I was age whatever, you went skiing in the rain, he-ha, who cares? You know your footnote.
What I would do if I was triple H is say, okay, the wonder of the king or queen of the ring,
they now get to pick the champion that they want to challenge at Summerslam. So the queen of the
ring says, you get a title shot at Summerslam, you pick the champion you want to challenge,
same thing with the king of the ring. That way it puts emphasis of you witnessing, now you get
the big shot at Summerslam. How it puts emphasis on the winner? Rob, do you want to take this or should
I? Yeah, I'm going to let you take it. They've already said that that's the case, Don.
Oh, I didn't know that. They have not confirmed Summerslam. They have already said that the winners
of the king and the queen of the ring will get a shot of at a title holder of their choosing.

advances. They missed the people that don't have opponents. Those will be decided at the
house show on Saturday. So yeah, the Kofi Rey Mysterio and Sheena Baszler's taking on,
or no, that shoot did she, no, she didn't take on Zoe Stark.
I think that's the Mac downside that we still have yet to receive.

So you had the combine to get the 12 qualifiers that go through NXT
as we approach battleground. I'm actually looking forward to battleground from a logistical
standpoint because they are doing it at the UFC apex and I want to see how that works because
it's a great facility. I'll be curious to see how it works compared to fight nights that they
do there. UFC fight nights that they do at the apex because it's a really nice, very small
facility, but it's not too dissimilar in size to the performance center.
Yeah, but the interesting thing for me in that and the reason I am booing the combine,
I like the idea of the realism and having something of a combine, but don't try to sell us on
Jada Parker being so strong and then showing video of her failing miserably at the tasks.
There were four, there were four different rounds all focusing on a different
facet of being a successful WWE superstar. Points were tallied up from the 12th place going
up in 12th place. We had Rensson Claire, formerly Maddie Renkowski, you know who she is.
In 11th Tatum Paxley, I think that Tatum Paxley is one that I've got my eye on this year.
I've been horribly underrated and I think she's going to get a nice shot this year to show what she
can do. Alex's least favorite on this list, Kalani Jordan comes in at 10th. I don't know that
she's the least favorite, but she's definitely towards the bottom. You're not a fan.
Izzy Dame in 9th, Izzy Dame is one that has potential, but I need to see her work on her own.
In 8th place, Ivy Nile, Ivy Nile to me, she's on the main roster now. She can do a good match,
but I wouldn't put her in this latter match. Well, I think you have two people that are in that same
boat. Above Ivy Nile, we have Lash Legend. Interesting bit with her and trick this week on NXT,
made me giggle a little bit. I like her. I'm coming around on her. I was not a huge fan at first,
but I am coming around. Have you talked about what makes that so interesting between Lash Legend
and Trick Williams? I have not. So there has been a lot of, I don't know if we call it Sass,
in their back and forths with promos and different things, but there has been some real heat there.
They are a couple. I was going to say is life imitating art? Well, it is apparently
two former professional athletes who are bonding over their current status or who have bonded
over their current status. And Trick as he has found his voice has also helped Lash Legend be better,
and I'm really digging it. I like they've got good chemistry, which now is 100% true.
Lash Legend trails Fallen Henley. I think Fallen Henley does make it to this latter match.
I've always been a big fan of her, and I think she'll have a good showing. She would be in my top
three to win it currently. She is one of my favorites as well. Meachin, who has returned to NXT,
there's no way she does not make this latter match because she's going to make that match better
because she's got such amazing skill. Well, I feel like you could say that about Ivy Nile as well,
but there is zero percent chance because they keep laying on how she's on Smackdown. She's part
of the OC. I would think her being in it is purely as elevating fluff.
Well, but I also see the good brothers interfering in her qualifier match to get her in.
That's an interesting point. Excuse me, a lot of NXT appearances as well. Sorry, I need a backdrop.
Brindley Reese comes in fourth place. She's another one that I think maybe retool the character a
little bit. She's got some skills, but I haven't seen enough to make a form to judgment at this point.
Jada Parker in third.
They're going to break up that team with with scripts leaving because his contract is not getting renewed.
Give her a chance to shine on her.
Second place was Thea Hale to the surprise of absolutely no one.
I would put her in my top three to win it.
Same.
Because to give her a workhorse title to get her to the women's title,
I think this is a good idea. Oh, my goodness. Excuse me.
Well, to fill it on that one, I think Thea Hale and Fallon Henley are your top two,
and I wouldn't need a least bit surprised if either they're A, there is a debut to help Fallon
Henley win the title. Or she herself does something less than kosher to get the title over
Thea Hale. And then your program for the summer is right there. And your leader in the clubhouse
at the combine with Saul Ruka. Also boo. But she's another one. I think they just need to change the
character, change the gimmick. The problem is is I need to get past this mental block that
her entire positioning is based on the fact of who her bow is. I do not know that.
Tyler Bate. Tyler Bate.
But if you remember, somebody else came in with that similar gimmick that has gone on to much
better things. Correct. Do you not remember to add that gimmick in the first May Young
Invitational? No, I'm really drunk of blank. That would be one way. Is that what Ria was pulling during
the first May Young? She was doing the whole surface. Yeah, the difference is is that I don't know
that Saul is actually doing the gimmick as much as it's more natural for her, whereas Ria was
putting on the gimmick. What I'm saying is that gimmick is not one that necessarily works.
Retool gimmick. Let's get this going. Ethan Page is no longer all elite.
Which could be good. Could be bad. Either way, we wish the best for him.
I would love to see him reunite with his old tag team partner.

But so you get ready for three hours of
AEW on Saturday again. But there was I swear and maybe I was I just slept through this.
There was no collision last Saturday at all.
And I don't know if they canceled it or I thought it was going to happen and it didn't,
but they did not air an episode last week.
And the or TBS was doing Star Wars day. And TNT was doing basketball playoffs.
Well, they also have hockey. They were doing basketball on Saturday. Yeah.
But there was no episode that I could find. And nothing was on my DVR.
Because they were talking about GYV and I thought they were supposed to be on collision and there was no collision.
So there's that on dynamite that mogul embassy has turned on swerve. So we're gonna see how that works out.
Um, and on ring of honor, I earned, I haven't seen dynamite from last night.
Is that the screening? So I'm gonna. That's all I'm saying done.
Oh, it was okay. It was a very throwaway episode.

It's all I'm saying.

Um, and on ring of honor, I earned savages announced that they're now heels.
They just cut a promo and I'm like, we're we're we don't like you people anymore.
We're doing it for okay.
Sure.
That's what we had to show the death we didn't do.
I was there.
My question is what's the deal with Omega?
Is he able to wrestle or was that just a what's?
I can tell you he's not going to wrestle with double or nothing.
You need to watch dynamite and that's all I'm going to say.
Because there is there is a piece of that address on dynamite.
Okay.
I mean, I'm just kidding.
It's what real life if that, you know, I have not heard either way if he's actually
cleared or not, but he took some, he took a couple of good bumps last week.
So yeah, I would I would shutter to think that he isn't cleared to take those bumps.
But I will also say as two thirds of this show deals with
not trying to diminish anything because it can diverticulitis can get really bad.
Yeah.
But it in no way, shape or form, should still be affecting him.
I think that he has so many injuries that have piled up that they're just sticking to this story
letting him heal up.
Okay.
Give him some time to kind of get.
Yeah.
Divertic, whether you have diverticulitis or diverticulosis, it is not pleasant.
It's just a matter of timing.
And as Alex said, 67% of the show has dealt with it.
So it isn't, it is the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.
And there's literally nothing you can do about it.
Yeah.
So for those of you that don't know what that is,
uh, it is a condition where, and this won't be graphic, I promise.
Yeah.
In your intestines, if things don't get fully digested and the main culprit of this are seeds,
which don't, this is why I can't have popcorn when we go to move, I can't do strawberries.
And Alex is in the same boat.
I'm a mystery.
Perhaps if you have these, uh, pieces in your intestines that are basically like philanges.
And this, a seed will get stuck in there.
And when that happens, the philanges will all
scrimp around it.
So it's like a fist around this seed.
The only way to fix it is you have to basically take muscle relaxers.
So those philanges will loosen back up and the seed will go the rest of the way through.
Alex is easily the worst pain I've ever felt in half a century on this planet.
Because not only does it hurt until the philanges release,
it basically, you, you have cramped pain for like three days as the muscles relax themselves.
And it sucks.
Now, if, if you want the doctor's statement, because they don't like you going for pills or
anything like that, their recommendation is to take like a massive amount of like
benefiber to try and force through, but that will feel almost like tearing.
Yeah.
And the real problem you can run into is if it gets too lodged in there,
and this is what happened to Brock Lesnar when he wound up having to have surgery.
He's trying to force it through wound up tearing his intestine.
And so that's where they had to remove a piece of it, which is basically what Kevin O'Mega dealt
with too. They had to remove a piece of it because it had gotten so bad.
Yeah.
Theosis is more of the continual condition, which is what Alex and I deal with.
The eyeness is a, is a, the inflammation.
Right.
Which is more of a.
Isolation's incident.
I thought that was very eloquent.
Then we did a good job on that.
Anything else you boys want to talk about because we're getting close to time?

I know we have the end of the month coming up, a lot of different options.

and then we will go back for the awards presentation that will be a week from Saturday
on the 18th.
And then after that, we should be back to abnormal for at least a couple of weeks.
Not sure how the holiday weekend is going to work out.
We'll figure that out as well.
But I think we're like, what, four weeks in a row without taking a week off.
So we're doing all right.
And I'm just happy that we've got all of our audio sources back.
We're very excited about that.
I think everybody at the dip, all the people that came on the show, all that,
everybody there, all the players, great goes.
Yeah, dad.
And I want to say thank you.
I mean, early happy mom's day to mom.
Yeah, it is mother's day.
There's that going for us.
