I am the executive producer of the clubhouse podcast and it's the solo adventure tonight.
Don and Alex both out on assignment, but I didn't want to leave you guys hanging.
We got a lot to talk about and where you're going to hear me talk about because I am
talking to the void.
The dog on it, we're dedicated and this is what we do.
A lot going on this past week and we're going to talk about all of it, so I am going
to dive right in.
I mean, some adjustments in this studio, you have probably going to do some more tweak.
I'm trying to get the fun, sway working correctly.
We'll get there.
But as we get into the deep end of the pool, I want to let you know that right here,
some said lounge DFW, there are some great things going on.
But we did a very, I did a very special thing last week.
You haven't seen the post about it.
One of the flagship shows right here in sense at lounge DFW, which has its own feet as
a show called Your Dark Companion hosted by Dallas Fort Worth Radio Legend Mike Reiner.
I actually got to be a part of that show last week for about 40 minutes and Mr. Reiner
and I talked about a lot of things.
He talked a lot about the show.
We talked to with each other.

Ashley was there.
Mickey was there.
Becca was there.
It was an absolute blast.

I get some downtime because it's been crazy this past weekend.
Then we're going to talk about that as well.
Let's get right into sports NCAA football.
We have a national champion and they are the book guys of Ohio State University.
In a game that started out kind of slow during that game and Alex and I were a little
bit of out of pocket and I'll talk about that here in a bit as well.
I was going, you know, all four of us both myself, Alex, Don, and Ziggy, shout out to Ziggy
over there at beer 30 sports o'clock, go check out his show as well.
We all picked Ohio State.
So the standings are still the same.
Go watch last week's episode if you want that.
But Ohio State was giving eight and early on, man, there wasn't a lot of scoring going
on.
So I was like, who got over under is not looking real good, but it does recover as Ohio
State wins that game running away a little bit late.
But congratulations to the buck guys for being the first tournament of 12 winner.
I guess.
And we'll do it all again next season.
In the NFL, not so weekend, one of my teams is out.
So let's go ahead and talk about it.
Houston goes to Arrowhead Stadium, KC was giving them nine and a half, but it was too much.
They didn't get there.
They didn't, they covered it by a half of point.
I actually know, I'm sorry, Houston wins by a half of point technically because Kansas
City won by nine, 23 to 14, oh Detroit, I mean, sucks to have the under in that game,
because Washington gets it almost by themselves.
It was 50 and a half Detroit was giving eight and a half, but they lose by two touchdowns.
As Washington beats them, 45 to 31, the commanders now going to the NFC title game.
By the way, Kansas City, seven straight AFC title games for them, now I've still got them going
to Super Bowl.
I'm sorry, the Super Bowl, I've got them going, so we'll see how this all works.
We also have Philly still in it as they were giving seven, but only wouldn't buy six
as they beat the Rams 28 to 22.
And a game that's, you know, making the case, making more of the case, and I don't
care if you say it's a regular season award, it shouldn't be.
It should be for the season as a whole.
Right now, my MVP vote is for one, say, Juan Barclay because he is lighting up the NFL
right now.
Now, he and Josh Allen could go back and forth.
Everybody else is fighting for third, fourth and fifth, where Marjax and the way he falls
off at the end of the season, I don't believe, golf had a good season, but to me, that's
more of a team, they could be one of the best teams of the year.
So I mean, everything's going to go back and forth on that, but right now, my votes
were say Juan Barclay because he's just running all over creation.
And Buffalo goes back to the AFC championship.
Baltimore was giving them one, but Buffalo wins by two after a botched two point conversion.
And shout out to Bill's Mafia for contributing to the charity of the guy that dropped
the ball.
That was, you know, he say what you want about Bill's Mafia, I mean, AFC East guy can't
stand the bills, even though the company I work for has naming rights to the stadium,
I was not personally consulted on that.
However, Bill's Mafia shows up when Bill's Mafia needs to show up, and so shout out
to Buffalo as they will now face Kansas City.
Let's go over the schedule, both games on Sunday.
We start at two o'clock central as Philly goes as Philly hosts the commanders.
Now, both of these teams, they're northern teams, north eastern teams, they both play out
doors.
That's not a factor here.
Philly is currently giving them six.
I think it's going to be closer than that.
So give me Washington plus six in this situation, because this is going to be a fun
game to watch their at the link.
530 central on Sunday, Buffalo goes to high marks, okay, they go to arrowhead, they play
a high mark, they're going to arrowhead to play the Kansas City Chiefs, Casey's giving
them two.
You're looking at two strong quarterbacks, I'm not going to get into the whole the reps
love Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes knows how to work the system.
He just does.
That's why he gets the quality does, because he knows, hey, if I slide here, now granted,
that helmet contact, that was, no, I'm going to say big no on that.
But I will say, I mean, I've got to ride with Kansas City, because they are my pick
to win the AFC.
Now, Buffalo, I would have put in a very close second.
So I'm kind of good either way, but I got to ride with Casey minus two on this in arrowhead.
That place is going to be rocking like it always does.
When you say, act like you've been there before, Kansas City can say that, because this
is their seventh time doing it.
I've also got them picked to win the superb owl in a couple of weeks, because as I've
said, you're the champs until somebody tells you otherwise.
And I see the 3P happening, and I'm not cutting the check to fill Jackson for that.
All right, let's get into NBA standing real quick, as we get into that.
A lot going on in the NBA, they're getting ready for the All Star Break just now on your
local TNT, wherever you find it, I would say affiliate, because they're not a network.
They are channeled, they're not a network.
They just announced the starters for the All Star Game in the Eastern Conference at
Lannick Division, the Toronto Raptors, they've won 11 games so far, and that would
be fine if they hadn't played 43 of them, they're 19 and a half games back.
They are two games back on Brooklyn, Brooklyn has dropped five in a row, but not like
the, you know, they're two and a half games behind Philly, Philly dropped seven in a row.
And they are Philly currently 12 and a half back on the next, the next are now two and
a half back on Boston leading that, that division in the central division that doesn't
have an Eastern or a Western, go figure, but they got the Atlantic and that's on the East
coast, whatever.
The Chicago Bulls, 19 and 25, they are 17 and a half back in their division.
They are four games back on the Detroit Pistons, former champs of basketball.
The Pistons now currently are one point back on the Pacers, Pacers now a game and a half
back on Millowaw K, who has one four in a row, but they're going to need to do better
than that because they're currently 11 back on Cleveland in the southeast division.
I got to do, I got to move my head because we can't see real well.
The Washington Wizards, they are in last place in that division, I was going to move this
over here.
It's just easier for me to do it this way.
They are now six and 36, not great, that's a 143 win percentage.
They're 15 and a half back in the division, they're five, six back on Charlotte.
Hornets are now nine back on the heat, the heater now, a half a game back on Orlando and
Atlanta who are tied for first Orlando's dropped 11 in a row, or dropped four in a row.
It's Washington, that's dropped 11 in a row.
The Jimmy Butler situation for those of you that don't know, he's been now suspended
two games because he decided to take a private flight and not fly with the team, just
opened a coffee business, something's called flat face or something like that in Miami.
If you see the design, very Miami, just trade them, just trade them, be done with it.
Like, I don't know who's going to want to pick up that contract, because the man's got
a large contract.
When you're making $49 million this season, wait to the end of the season, bro.
Tell them saying, like, if you're making that kind of money and you're not happy playing
professional sports, I don't know what to tell you.
Like, pay me two million a year.
I'll sit on your bench and hold a clipboard.
I've said this multiple times and every major sport.
Pay me the league minimum.
What's the league minimum in the end of the thought right on, like $750,000 a year?
Yeah, I would take that.
I would wear the jersey.

Let's go to the Western Conference right now in the Pacific Division.
What's up?
Golden State, I would say how the mighty of fallen, but they're a game below 500 and
they're last in the division.
They're only three games out of first place.
Frame on green, still talking about the punch, don't care.
Just apologize to the man publicly and be done with it.
They are a game behind Phoenix.
The sons are now one back on Sacramento, Sacramento's one, three, and a row.
The clippers have lost two in a row, but they're tied with the lakers for first place and
they're both a game ahead of the Kings.
In the southwest division, because west.
Fly, pelican!
Well, in 32 right now, they're 17 and a half back in the division, but they've won four
in a row.
Zion Williamson, we're going to keep it for the whole year, we're going to trade them.
I don't know, the kid can't stay healthy.
I like it.
Good people, but come on, bro.
They are now a nine games back on the spurs, the spurs, now two back on the Mavericks.
The Mavericks are now six games back on Memphis and the Grizzlies who have won four in a row.
They're a half game back on Houston Houston Houston.
In the northwest division, that is north and west for those of you playing the home game.
The Utah Jazz, they got 10 wins.
Probably rely on a lot on hockey right now.
They are 25 and a half back in the division and we're going to also the all-star.
They are currently three and a half back on Portland, Portland is now seven and a half
back on Minnesota.
The timber wolves are now four and a half back on Denver.
Denver's now nine back on Oklahoma City.
Now, Oklahoma City, starting to do what they used to do again, what is old is new on this
very show many, many years ago before they started their dominance.
I said, watch Oklahoma City.
They're going to dominate this conference for the next five years and they did.
I don't get a lot right, but I got that right.
All right.
So let's go to the NHL, get your standings for that.
And I don't know how we're going to play America's favorite game show because nobody
is here.
Maybe I'll just pause and I'll let you make it guess.
I don't know what it is, so you're probably right anyway.
But let's get to it, standings in the eastern conference of the NHL in the Atlantic division,
the Buffalo sobriest, they have 41 points, they're 21 points out of first place.
They are six points back on Detroit, Detroit's lost three in a row.
Detroit is now five back on the Bruins who are tied with the Montreal Canadians, and
I got to do it this week.
The Canadians are also, there's a three way tie with Boston Montreal and Ottawa.
I know three of them are only a point back on my beloved lightning.
The lightning now six back on my beloved panthers who played a great game against Detroit.
Last week as we were watching on, I was actually hanging out with Alex watching that game.
Man, live by the sword, die by the sword, score with a 1.8 left and then get scored
on with less than two seconds left and over time, going to happen to you.
Right now, Florida is three back on Toronto who had a very, very long fight last night.
Underwatch, like when you're watching around the horn and they have to play it in double
time because it's so long, not the longest, that could 20 10, they had when they went
over three minutes long.
You went all three on long three, minutes is, stare to clock for three minutes.
Then think about your swing and fists all the time trying to throw another guy on the
ground while you're sitting on icegates.
Think about it.
Now we go to and I got to do this one by myself, too.
They'll measure bones and division.
I love that hockey has that.
The New York Islanders, they played 46 games, they got 45 points and they are currently 24
points out of first place, but they've won two in a row.
They are three points back on Don's beloved Pittsburgh penguins.
The penguins are two back on the flyers, Philly and the Rangers are tied at 50 points
in there.
Three back on Columbus, Bluejack, it's now seven back on the devil's jersey.
Now we'll point back on Carolina.
Carolina is now eight points back on Washington.
The caps have won five in our row, kids.
In the western conference, central division that also has no eastern or western.
The Chicago Blackhawks, they're still bad.
They are 34 points and they are 33 points out of first place.
Think about that, they're double it and they're still a point out.
They are seven points back on the Nashville Predators, Nashville six back on the Utah
hockey club.
They should keep the name.
I know there's been problems because they can't use yet to eat because it's copyrighted.
I get that.
Just be a Utah hockey club.
Just like I want Washington to be the Washington football team.
It's just cool.
I'm just saying, simple, keep it simple.
Hockey club now three back on the blues, St. Louis now eight back on Colorado, Colorado
is a point back on Dallas Dallas, a point back on Minnesota by the way, Nashville is one
foreign row.
But the winner, Peg Jets, still have a seven point lead over Minnesota in that division.
And in the Pacific division, San Jose, but depending on it, I think we're going to put
a pin in it.
We're going to put a pin in it, we're going to put a pin in it.

They are currently eight points back on Anaheim, Anaheim is three back on the Cracken.
The Cracken now five back on Vancouver.
The Knucks currently a point back on Calgary flames six back on the Kings, the Kings
are four back on Edmonton and Vegas, although they've lost four in a row, still lead that
division by a point.
So let's get into it.
North America's favorite game show or something I like to call, what is the goal differential
for the San Jose Sharers?
That's right.
Will they be the team?
It's all because they missed it one week, but could they go almost belt the belt
like the white socks did?
We don't know.
We're going to find out as time goes on.
But they are dominating.
I mean, North America's favorite game show this year.
I'm going to give you just a couple of minutes or a couple of seconds.
I'm going to go two minutes.
That's a long time.
I'm going to take a taste of my sip, a sip of my tasty beverage and I want you to think
what is the goal differential for the San Jose Sharers?
And in the meantime, I will do this.
All right, you had enough time.
Right now, the San Jose Sharers have played 50 games.
They are the only team in the Western Conference, at least, to play their 50th game.
They are the only, I'm New Jersey is the only one in the Western and the Eastern Conference
that has.
In those 50 games, they've won 14, they've lost 30 and they got six overtime loss.
That is a total of 34 points.
That puts them 20, eight points out of first place.
So not bad, they can make it up in the second half, but you're saying there's a chance.
They're 18, 14 at home.
There's 16 and 18, 14 and one at home, 16 at five on the road, they're three and seven
in their last 10.
They're currently on a four game freefall.
Right now, January 23, the goal differential for the San Jose Sharers is minus 52.
So they haven't lost a lot of ground, but plenty of hockey to play.
I'm not saying, I'm just saying, all right, that's going to wrap up our sports talk for
the week.
Let's talk about the same amount of time, though I taught that much, yeah, we'll figure
it out.
Let's get into some TV headlines and stuff we watched this week.
TV told me.
I got nothing.
I got some stuff I'm looking forward to watching, got some stuff in the queue, but I'm
not there yet.
Let's see, but ABC real quick, they have renewed Abbott Elementary for season 5 earlier
this season.
They did a crossover with it.
It's always sunny in Philadelphia, which I've heard is very good.
Abbott Elementary is one of those shows that I think if I had gotten on board the
beginning, I would still be watching.
It may be one I'm going to binge at some point.
I got a lot of content I'm dealing with right now.
HBO and Max have renewed the white lotus for season 4.
So if you're a fan of that cookie show, you're going to get more of it.
However, season 4 of the righteous gemstones will be its final season.
A lot of people, I know Alex very much enjoys that show.
I don't remember if Don does or not, but, you know, it's one another, because there's
I love everybody involved in this thing, got Walton Goggins with some of the wheels off
look I've ever seen him in, but you know, it's Walton Goggins you do what he wants.
Netflix has renewed the LinkedIn lawyer for season 4.
And I don't know if this is a spoiler or not because I haven't watched it, but they
have said, Neve Campbell will be returning.
So and for for the entire season, and I love the Neve Campbell, so we're good with it.
Also for those of you that do not know, Netflix will be increasing its pricing for a couple
of bucks coming up, not that big deal kids, they've added so much programming and so much
content.
I'll pay a couple extra bucks a month, because outside of the problems with the Mike Tyson
Logan Paul fight or Jake Paul, I'm sorry, and not just what was in the stadium.
They've done a great job, I thought they did a fantastic job with the NFL games on Christmas
day.
They're doing a bang up job with Monday night raw.
I'm looking forward to seeing where all of that goes.
It's a couple of bucks, kids, you know, and get the premium level man, you get the four
case streaming, you get the multiple profiles, you get to, I get to skip commercials
and raw, which is awesome, even though I'm going to talk about that because, you know,
I didn't really watch it on Netflix this week, what does that mean?
You have to wait, I'm going to tell you, come on, Skinner don't start the show which
freebird.
All right, TV on DVD and Blue Ray this week, the complete series of house, so if you
want to catch up on that great show, we were actually talking about that on a road trip
this weekend, go check it out and Ultraman Z, the complete series will be available.
Both of those have a tie to what I'm going to talk about next.
Because this past weekend, I was in New Braunville's Texas as part of Retromania, a toy
and collectible show right there in the beautiful city of New Braunville's just it's
about an hour or so, just south of Austin straight down 35, which means yes, I had to drive
through Austin twice, but it was a fantastic show there at the New Braunville's Convention
Center.
New Braunville's is a great little town and I'm going to say this right up front, shout
out to the service industry in New Braunville's Texas everywhere, my friend Kat and my
friend Marissa, we all rode down there together.
We went to, I tried to go to places I can't go to here sometimes, but we got there
so late, not a whole lot was open, but Chili's was there and I dig their chips and salsa.
Give me a sponsorship.
But whether it was Chili's or anywhere we ate or had to go get something, customer service
was on point every time in New Braunville's.
So shout out to New Braunville's and what they do in that town.
You guys are killing the game, keep it up.
But I was actually working some Q&A's at Retromania this weekend, want to give some shout
out to there because we had such a blast.
The first one I got to do was with a young lady by the name of America Young.
Oh, there's a pattern there, didn't even do that on purpose.
America Young currently is best known.
She is the voice of Barbie in a lot of the newer animated production.
She's been doing it since they had the web vlog in 2015.
She was also in Monster High.
She was the voice of Barbara Gordon and the Gotham Knights video game.
She also directed an episode of the live action series.
She was so much fun to talk to.
She's a stunt person.
She's actually worked with Colt Cabana on a pilot.
I'm going to have do my best to have those panels available for you soon.
But she was so much fun to talk to.
We just sat there and just shot the bowl for 45 minutes.
It was awesome.
And then I got to talk to Andre Salutezo.
This guy's got over 300 credits to his name on IMDB.
A lot, a lot, a lot of voice work.
He most recently worked on Indiana Jones in the Great Circle.
He said he had to think about that because they recorded that like five years ago.
But he's really excited about that.
He's done Transformers work where he was caught,
traffic, thunder, cracker, scavenger,
secret to side swipe between video games and movies.
He did some Bond radio plays.
We talked a little bit about that in our panel.
He was part of Clone Wars.
He was in the polar express.
He even told the story about the fact that he worked with Tom Hanks for one day on
You Got Mail.
And that man, his voice, he was the voice of Scarface in the Scarface video game.
And he tells a great story about that when I get everything cleaned up and sound
in pretty, I'm hoping I'm going to have that available for you as well.
And then wrapping up on Saturday, I talked to Jeff Steitzer.
You might know him as the voice of he was the tournament voice for all the Halo games.
Although people were saying there's a couple that he's not in, but he said I did work for
that.
So keep an eye on that.
He was also in metal lords.
He did never set a 30 rock.
He also did a show called the last video store in Earth.
We talked a lot about that absolutely engaging and enjoyed my time with him.
On Sunday, I got to talk to Christopher Sean.
You might know him from days of our lives.
He was also the voice of Dick Grayson slash night wing in the Gotham nights video game.
So a guy that's Batman obsessed in one weekend got to interview Barbara Gordon and Dick
Grayson.
How about that?
He was wonderful.
We talked a lot about his upbringing and him getting started.
He's also in the Netflix Ultra Man rising.
So go check out Christopher Sean in that.
He did two seasons on Hawaii 50 while he was doing days of our lives at the same time.
We talked a little bit about that.
Absolutely enjoyed talking and what a great guy.
And my last Q&A of the weekend was with Justin Michele.
She is also the wife of Andre Salutezo.
She was on sign-filled in the 90s.
She did over 30 episodes of NYPD Blue.
She was on the X files.
She did some soap opera work on it as the world turns.
She did an episode of the sopranos.
Not only does she tell great stories about her career, we talked a lot about food.
And if you know me, I can go all day long on food.
Because she and Andre talk about how they love to cook together in their spare time.
And they have relatives and Italy and they go over there and I'm like, oh, I would love
to do that.
But shout out to everybody at Retro Mania.
We had a blast.
I will be back in New Braunables the first weekend in April for Hill Country Comic-Con.
That's how I believe is the next show I've got coming up.

Sonic the hedgehog four has been announced.
I have not seen any of these.
But everybody's telling me I need to go ahead and just go through all three of them because
they're all three great and I love everybody involved.

But Sonic four is now set for March 19th, 2027 because animation.
So we'll be looking forward to that.
Right now Robert Eger's who seems to be living his best life currently basking in the
glow of the success of the nose for Ratu remake.
He's got a couple of things announced.
Christmas of 2026 he will be releasing where Wolf W.E.R.W. U.L.F. kind of like I think did he do?
The the Vitch.
The Vitch is the Vitch.
Let's find out because magic box.
Let's see.
It was Robert Eger's that did that film with Anna to and you Taylor Joey.
So now he's doing that with where Wolf coming out Christmas of 2026 and it was announced
today that he has got to deal with tri star pictures part of Columbia that whole family.
He will be directing the sequel to Labyrinth.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
I love Labyrinth.
They made an amazing pinball game out of it that we saw at the pinball festival this year this
past year because it's almost time to do it again.
Beautiful pinball machine.
Great film.
Also watched a lot about it in the Jim Henson documentary that Disney plus did earlier
this year.
I've almost, yes, been almost a year, good mercy.
But I'm going to be cautiously optimistic to see where this goes and how they're going
to do it.
But we are getting a sequel to Labyrinth and it will be directed by Robert Eger's.
We also have, we have a lot of sequel news to talk about this week.
We've got Sonic 4.
We've got Labyrinth to and we are getting Oceans 14 because reasons.
And it will be directed by David Leach, who is the director of the Fall Guy, which made
my top 10 of the year for 2024, make sure you go back and check out that show where all
three of us talk about our best and worst films of 2024.
I was two weeks ago, I can believe that.
And Jeremy Renner announced on the second anniversary of his accident that he is going
to release his memoir in the spring and that will be called my next breath.
So get ready for that.
I'm a big fan of Jeremy Renner and I'm looking forward to seeing that.
Today, we got Oscar nominations.
Now I'm going to be working with Alex to see if we can get an Oscar picks competition
up and running.
So beyond the lookout for that, I got my email invitation from ESPN today.
So we're going to see how that works out.
But let's just, some of the very, I'm not going to go through all of them.
Because especially since this is a solo adventure.
But let's give you some very interesting stats from the Oscar nominations that were released
today of Amelia Perez is the most nominated non-English film ever with 13 nominations.

she should be better be nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

And if you have not seen Con Clay do yourself a solid, it made the top three for all three
of us.
And that is a rarity.
And everybody I have directed to that film that has seen it has said Rob, it didn't
steer me wrong.
And I wouldn't do that because I love you people.

Anora also nominated for Best Picture.
But you're a Boris off, who's fantastic in that film, is the first Russian actor
to get nominated for Best Actress since 1977.
And that was Michaela Borrison, a call for the turning point, and the last win for
a nominee was Lila Cajrova in 1964 for his orbit of the Greek.
So there's a lot going on there.
Again, Anora I didn't think it was a great film.
The ending was weird, but you're as awesome in that film.

confront his past before it leads to his own destruction.

When Maya learns her father Sam was once a spy, she suddenly finds herself at the
center of an international conspiracy.

had a huge big deal out there.

We're going to do it again.

Remember the show start, the police starts at 5th central, which means it's going to be
a long night.
We're going to be there pretty much all day.

You've never been to Ex Gulf, it's a fantastic facility as my favorite Gulf simulator
that I'm looking forward to using more Alex and I go there quite a bit.
Ex Gulf in Frisco, it is on Preston Road just north of Lebanon.
We'll be there Saturday, February 1st, join us for the first plea of 2025 and as Alex
calls it, wrestling Christmas.

Alex was actually in the house for TNA Genesis on Sunday night.
I could not make it as I was coming back from New Braunables and it was a late night.
But Frankie Cazerian has re-upped with TNA, so he's going to be there.
He's got the call your shot done with trophies, which he has not cached in yet.
But Genesis was a thing and you have a brand new world champion in Joe Hentry.
It is his time.
He's already called out John Cena.
So we'll see where that goes because of that WWE TNA partnership.
Things are going to get wheels off and I'm looking forward to it.
Josh Alexander in story quits, but his contract is up and he is testing free agency.
When Alex told me this, he said, by the way, great setup at the Colwell crowd was electric.
So I'm glad that they have a great time.
My first thought when I found out Josh Alexander was testing free agency is with this agreement
with WWE, are we going to get a reunion of the North with him and Ethan page?
He does not believe so.
I hope so.
Maybe not to take the tag team titles, but at least Josh Alexander helps Ethan page win.
We'll see how that goes.
And Mackenzie Mitchell is back.
We need to see her working with TNA as we know her husband is big Joseph, one of the commentators
for NXT.
Also announced in the last couple of days tonight, they're actually live.
Impact is live in San Antonio as we're getting ready for Saturday night's main event
because they're in town too.
The February 20th episode of Impact will also be live in a very strange turn of events
will be live in Orlando, Florida, from Fulsel University.
Former home of NXT.
So I'm going to be interested to see how that works out.
I like that they're going live live is always better, I'm just saying.
WWE headlines, rumors about I read today that WrestleMania 42, which will be next year,
may be in New Orleans again, back to now these Caesars, the Caesars Palace Superdome, always
a great crowd there, of WrestleMania 30, where the streak was broken.
Some of our friends were there for that.
Misty, I was texting her because she was in the house and telling me everything that was
going on.
We'll see, I actually got a set of figures, it's a right off camera, that's got their
WrestleMania 30 logo, but it shows Triple H and Sting, which actually wasn't till the next
year, which is why I bought it.
Because I love funky little things like that.
Congratulations to Brooke Hogan.
She is now the mother of twins.
She's married to a former NHL player, and she said she'd taken a break from social
media, because she was getting ready to be a mom.
So congratulations to Brooke on the birth of her twins.
Alex and I were at the American Airlines Center Monday, night for Raw.
Great crowd had a blast.
I will say this, the entryway is actually more impressive in person, which I know sounds
weird.
It really, really is.
It looks great.
The only thing I really want, I need to go back and watch on the Netflix feed is I want
to see what Penta's entrance looks like, because on what he debuted, I don't think he
had the pyro.
But when they were here in Dallas, they had like a pinwheel pyro from flames.
It had to have looked amazing on TV.
It looked a little weird from our vantage point, but I do want to see what it looks like
on video.
There was a really neat right before, by the way, shout out to Alex and Sean for bringing
me with them to having a ticket for me for the show.
We had a blast.
We took Rachel with us.
I was trying to get Rachel on the show, but she's busy tonight as well, but it was her
first live WWE event, so we had to bring her with us, man, it was cold.
They did a really interesting pre-show video package that had like the different chance
over the years.
If you smell the millions and millions and it was like a little sound waves and stuff,
really neat package with a bunch of the old school and new school and middle school stuff
going on there.
I will say this, watching Michael Cole Eat in person, it's just a different level.
It looks hilarious on TV, it's funny or in person.
Pat McFee was not there.
He was actually in Atlanta for the College Football National Championship, but Wade Barrett
did fill in.
I noticed that on the screen at the arena, which they've upgraded the screen of the
American Airlines, and they got the thing on the inside, looks great, looks fantastic,
great job by their tech, but it's Cuban, it makes sense.
There was no live watermark, so I don't know when we were live or when we were in
break because, again, internationally, they don't get the commercials.
So I couldn't, I tried to gas, I'm like, okay, feel like we're probably in commercial
right now.
I don't know, I haven't gone back and watched it yet, but Punk had the loudest pop
of the night.
He got interviewed, he cut a promo about the Royal Rumble.
He was probably a hundred yards from us to our left and down a little bit because they
had a platform there, which is where they do a lot of the, like the stars and Mavericks
pre-game stuff, that's where they had people cut in promos.
Quite a few times, we didn't have the feed on the screen, and I don't know what that's
when they were in commercial, but given the moments that it just said, Raw, I don't know
if there was a fumble there from a tech standpoint or not, everything looked great when
they did have it up there, but it was just kind of awkward at times that I, you know, you
want to see what's going on through the camera, and there was a dark match after they
did two matches for main event that were very entertaining, and then afterwards there was a dark
match, Cody came out to take on Carmello for the title, that went probably exactly how you thought
it would, and then Cody did the thank you good night thing and gave his weight belt to a little
kid in the crowd, which was pretty awesome, and then stuck around ringside took pictures, you know,
did the whole thing. But again, WWE always puts on a great show. I had my, the shirt I got last time
that I was there that had the stars logo and the raw logo. The one they had this time, it was very
JU so specific. There wasn't a lot of gear, like Penta's new shirt looks great. That was a great
shirt for the Wyatt 6 allegedly. We, they were getting ready to bring back Alexa Bliss and have
pushed that back indefinitely at this point, so I don't know what's going on there, but Raw was a
great show. Crowd was electric. Not, I mean, since they don't have commercials internationally,
you didn't get a lot of the crazy stuff in between where like Alicia Taylor would get in the
ring and be like, show us your signs or let's, let's do a chance off. None of that because
they're constantly live. And again, two and a half hours, that's the sweet spot for those
you that don't know. They're doing that two and a half hours because they can still do a dark
match or two afterwards and not be keep people their late, which I appreciated, because it was
still late when I got home, but it wasn't as late as it could have been, but we had an
absolute blast as we always do with those shows. WWE, they're going to be, they're going to be in
Fort Worth, which I'm assuming is that the Dickies arena, the Friday after WrestleMania,
which I believe will be April the 25th. So that's when they're coming back to this town for a
live event. Not a lot going on on NXT this week. You know what I mean? AEW announcing that
dynasty will be April the 6th at the Leah Corris Center at Temple University in Philadelphia.
That is a Sunday, it's two weeks before WrestleMania. So that's where their dynasty paper view will be.
Allegedly Ricky Starks has asked for his release and was not granted it by Tony Khan.
So he's cutting some promos lately, so we're going to see where that goes. We have new tag
champs in the Hertz Syndicate. So congratulations to those guys. Again, Alex and I can't say enough
good things about NPP. It's hard to believe it's been five years since Alex and I were on the
Jericho Cruz. I think it's like five years tomorrow that we got off the ship. But seeing some of
some of my memories and some of the pictures we took, it was an absolute blast shout out to everybody
that's about to go on the new crews next week. Please travel safe. Have a great time.
Maybe someday we'll get back there. But they've got a lot going on that Jericho Cruz. So go check it out.
And Christopher Daniels has retired from entering competition. So they played it up as, you know,
hangman just beat him up real bad. But I think this is that was his swansong anyway. So and it
was in a Texas death match, which we actually got to see him in and he signed a picture for Alex
saying he was on fire. And I want to say that was with Cody at a ring of honor show here at Gillies.
That's really all we've got for this week. Next week two shows will have the normal show on Thursday night.
And then and that'll be the first half of the show. We will not do the podcast unless
something huge that we have to talk about what happened. We're going to save the wrestling stuff
for Saturday at X golf in Frisco. It's a free event. Now you got to pay for your own food drinks.
