My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the Club House podcast and we're back at the
other ship this evening back in the studio after a great show this past Thursday night for
North Texas Giving Day. We hope you had a chance to give. We are such fans of those people
with Dallas on our musicals that take such good care of us. But I am not alone.
Joining me across the desk as he tends to do each and every week is a man who Friday morning was
probably almost as tired as I was. But he's here for you now. He is Chad. Welcome, sir.
I was pretty wild. That was a rough day man. But it was a great night. It was a great night.
There was caffeine was my friend. I'm proud of it. It's all I'm saying. Also joining us is the
official fact checker of this show. And a man who could be wearing the coolest shirt in the studio.
You may know I'm as fond on go, but his mom and name am Don Ford. I'm going to call him Don Ford.
Welcome, sir. I was about to wear my brown jersey today. But what's going on with the
shellacking of my Steelers. I'll tell you. Your Steelers are taking a short
curl. Yes, they are. I'm like one for four with my football teams this week. You
are interested in final numbers for North Texas giving day. Absolutely. 37.3 million. Thank
you, people of North Texas in around the world and on the inner webs. That's a lot of money
raised for nonprofits here in North Texas. Three million, be it the record by three million. Wow.
Yeah, 34 million amazing. Yeah, set for 37 million for 2005 or 18 nonprofits. Wow.
So congratulations to everybody involved. Again, we had such an amazing time that we
cannot think enough. Every guest we had on the show, Francisco for setting the whole thing up.
Fair part musical for allowing us to space. That was so amazing. It was such a great night.
I was such a huge fan. I have not had a chance to listen to that show yet, so I don't know if there's
any correction. That's an hard of a man. We had two long shows last week. We did over five hours
of podcasting alone, not even counting special additions. And that was an exceptionally long
live show, but it didn't feel. No, it didn't. No, it didn't. It is night of, I'm sorry,
clash of champions night. So we're going to be wrestling intensive for the next 45 minutes or so.
Some of our normal guests for the studio are running a little bit late. The weather is very
inclimit here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. So we got, I've got to get here, get here, say they
have texted me their picks. So we'll get to that here in just a minute. But let's go ahead and
start by talking about the week that was in our sport. Survivor Series going to Toronto this year.
So J.R. will be bringing his one man show to Toronto for Survivor Series weekend.
Normally known for doing that wrestle mania weekend, but he's going to go the last major of the year.
As well. So members of the Empire in Toronto, get your tickets now. I have heard really,
really good things about his one man show. So go check that out. Rumors of Devon Dudley,
being a road agent for the company. So they really are genuinely finished.
I tagged Bubba Ray showed up at one of Tommy Dreamers House of Hardcore shows to beat down
Matt Hardy. I saw that and made an illusion that he's not going to see it. Let's not get crazy for it.
He may be going there to watch his girlfriend or whatever she sees. She's an independent.
She's not referring to anybody right now. Oh, she's not. I didn't know she was going.
Her DNA contract's been up for a while. Oh, she's not. I didn't watch.
Sonny's been arrested again. No. This time for an unspecified parole violation.
In person impersonating a porn star.

Yeah. It's painful to see what she's become. That's what I'm saying.
Because this hurts me because you guys know. Oh, I know. That was my girl for back in the year.
I was the same way. I was it was it was original diva. I don't get anybody says she's the original
even over sunny. That is that is sunny. I mean, who's a sunshine with gorgeous of the modern era.
Modern. Because when they were more seen as as divas.
You really can't call Miss Elizabeth. But she was a valla. George. Yeah, but also was sunny at first.
Sun at first though, but they were the first to them as deep. Sonny's role in murder like evolved.
She was really the first one. She never really got in the ring and competed.
So since we are wrestling and sensitive, let's talk a little bit about Monday night raw.
I noticed that there were no video boards on the ring post this week. I don't know if you saw that down or not.
No, I did. And it was kind of weird. But then I realized later that in the week they mentioned
that the reason that they weren't there was because you had a cage match. And the cage wouldn't fit
around the video boards if they were on top of the ring posts. So that makes sense to me.
I guess they don't want to redesign the cages. Not yet. But because they were back on SmackDown.
So, uh, I'm not saying, I'm just saying. I want you to go back to last week's show
when we talked about the three way dance for the number one contender ship for the raw
with women's title. Somebody's listening to the show. Because I said after raw that there that
basically Dana Brooke wins by default because the other two pinned each other. And what do I see on my screen?
Just saying. Pretty Palmer still has a question mark up there though. She knows on the smartest
man alive because I know you paid her to say that. Uh, oops, you kind of did really.
Uh, so that's not a stretch. Um, so we have the cruiser weights arrived this week on raw.
And a really good match for the number one contender ship that will be for the cruiser weight title,
which will be defended this evening. One of them was a rich swan.
He came out dancing like it was no tomorrow. When I thought to myself, rich swan
when our truth is not quite enough for you. That they're going to be attacking. Watch. No.
Watch. And hopefully this guy can get out of the gimmick like, uh, Xavier Woods did.
Anything is better than the golden truth. I'm sorry. That is so bad. And why not the night?
Goes to Kevin Owens. Because during the cage match, Rusev came down and locked him inside the
cage and then they threw Roman through the cage and whatever. And Owens looks at Rusev and goes,
Machka something. Machka something. They're trying. I love Kevin Owens. He should never
not be heo. I'm telling you. He could be a funny face, but he wouldn't be very effective. No.
All right. So other headlines we'll talk about tonight as we are getting ready for
clash of champions, which will be live from the bankers life field house in Indianapolis, Indiana.

on the Bob & Tom show Mik was on the Bob & Tom show on Friday.
And they were, it was a great interview. He spent the last full segment and most of the
local show with him. So he was on for like an hour. I love the fact that you didn't have to
bother to ask was it a shoot interview because you pretty much know but but if he
doesn't really work in my favorite line though was Bob Tom asked him Bob's
retired but Tom asked him are you prompted to do certain things or look
a certain way and Mick goes look at me he goes do you think I'm at a
specific point in my relationship with his man we established this look
here's it go but it was funny because Tom being the consummate host that
he is it but Mick at one point was like you're making this really easy
because I'm talking about everything with but what I'm supposed to be
promoting and you're promoting it for me he's good well you know that's
kind of your job he claims that he and Noel and she's 22 now what that's
sink in that they've had three arguments and Tom's like I have a three
world I've had three arguments with her in the last three months he's so he
means total he's talking about but it was really it was a really really really
good interview I was very very impressed I mean because whenever they mean
granted they're not all home runs because somebody to tell Tom that
Devon's name is not Devon but we let that roll but I mean they had the
lucha dragons on once when they were coming to town it was really good
interview they do a really good job especially with the WWE Superstar so
thank you to the Bob and Tom show for just being awesome especially when it
comes to WWE Superstars which we could get a relationship with the radio like
they have in this town I'm not saying us specifically I'm just saying I wish
somebody in this town would get a relationship with us so Cody information
oh boy because he can't use roads which is the dumbest because WWE owns the
copyright however his wife can use it because she was Eden Styles they don't
have the copyright for brandy roads which really shouldn't she be rebrandy
runnels anyway he's actually adopted the name which is possible so here's the
thing they're going to he's gonna make his debut at Bound for Glory that's
next week in it I don't know I believe it is next Sunday they're going to
feud with Mike Mike Bennett and Maria Canalis which makes sense has been a
wife has been a wife but when they're a mixed tag they can be Cody and
brandy roads so there is a loophole I am predicting because they just did like a
vignette with him this week on impact my official prediction that is that he is
going to be part of and probably win the Bound for Gold Gotland match because
the winner of that match it's basically like winning money in the bank okay all
also did not realize I don't know why I didn't think about this this is his first
non WWE wrestling venture really so he's right through it well me OVW straight
up yet yeah it's like wow that's true brave and he has filled his his stuff
for arrow he's going to be on arrow this season I did see that so very excited
about that and I will be very happy with that Gail Kim will be your next TNA
Hall of Famer they promoted that a lot this week but I thought we talked about that
before but I wanted to cover it just in case she deserves it just the first TNA
knockouts champion yeah yeah I think you put her in the WWE Hall of Famer yeah
I do too won the WWE Women's title in her first match yeah she walked out
walk out walk in walk out with the title and it was sad because I think if you
put her in that division if she makes her debut now she's in WWE
longer I think she was ahead of her time yeah in WWE the only people that
could only really the only person that could really hang with her in my opinion
was Trish and how far can you take that right it's really sad because she
was I think it was the same thing that happened with a lot of the guy wrestlers
now that they got their monster push right out of the gate and the fans
were built against it well I don't think it never connected I don't think it
was a connection problem I think it was a skill set problem you didn't have
anybody that was on her level so she had to kind of dumb it down and I think
it made her in ring stuff suffer for me they just didn't know what to do
and then she came back and she was gone two weeks later it was the
that was typically should it roll the end I mean some the one who I mean
no matches with her and Kong some of those well I you know what
let's just say this you guys don't have the run sheet that's a perfect
segue because Kong is the next thing we're going to talk about okay she has
joined the Netflix series of glow she's gonna be part of that deal with
Alison Brie hmm train and all of the all of the actors will be trained we
talked about this a couple of weeks ago by Chavo yeah yeah Chavo's doing the
training for it so get ready for that next year I'll be I'll be by the channel
I'm sure now I watch every episode of glow ever of course you know I was 12 at
the time so I was the exact target demo yeah that show Daniel Bryan says WWE
has made a documentary about him that was supposed to be the lead up to his
return at WrestleMania 32 well since that that return never happened he
they're they're shelving this thing but he wants it out there he wants fans to
use hashtag release the bear I want to say the bear is the name of it why not
the goat at least the goat yeah so if you're a Daniel Bryan fan and you want
this documentary you see the light of day let's just let me just say it this way
if it wasn't gonna see the light of day this wouldn't be out there yeah let's be
honest this is but you know it's a good way to get the fans involved in stuff this
is quote unquote gorilla marketing at its finest um we've been wondering maybe a
little bit why we haven't seen some array for a minute you know she's been
gone from a while she's got multiple injuries neck backed and elbow she's
been wearing neck traction as of late and her neck deployment with doctors
is going to be next month so she's been thankful to the fans that have
reached out to her and uh she's trying she's trying she's some array apparently
WWE has reached out to Matt Hardy why here's the problem his T and A deal is
very hoganish he has creative control that guy has got control it's T and A
bro you could probably have creative control if you try hard enough I met
apparently his deal at T and A is pretty sweet there's a get the paycheck though
he probably is one of the first probably him and Jeff are the first ones
they get paid but my question is if he's still get paid probably oh we got we
got half your paycheck here rest of the staff sorry interesting news from Smackdown
live they're talking about doing a what they call a shooter stable about
guys who have legitimate wrestling backgrounds apparently the Shelton
Benjamin deal with not dead there's the rumors are they they want to talk to
him again after his surgery and after he heals because remember he had a
collarbone injury he didn't even know about right so so let me some of this
doesn't even for you for a shooter stable Shelton Benjamin okay Jack Swagger
and Dolph Ziegler yeah I'm intrigued by that yeah that's interesting I'm
incredibly intrigued by this because these are three guys that can go Ziegler I
mean those the other two can cover for Swagger's lack of Mike's skill yeah if I
say you one of those guys has got no courage that's my thing a Swagger can go
yeah he's just he just doesn't have the charisma and watching him when he's
cool on quote signing with Smackdown that was a very awkward awkward promo
two weeks ago but we'll see speaking of Smackdown live you were heard how
they're referring to Slater and Rhino now well beauty in the man beast
all right I just don't see I don't see Slater is a man beast
well it ain't Slater okay well that's I guess that was sarcasm I do like to
talk I do like to tag team though I do like they're a great tag yeah how they
push them they just got it right finally we got a right for him I'm gonna double
why but you know what Slater deserves it I mean Mike got how long has he
swam in mediocrity and he's been laying wishing and how long if we've
been saying this guy still in the company yeah so God bless him yeah and I'm gonna
say something like I may have said this in the show a couple of weeks ago if you
haven't seen the woman he's really married to because the lady on tv
a her are you serious and the lady he's really married to I like to say in the
immortal words of the great poet and philosopher Enzo Amore how you don't
look she's that's a good looking girl so it's not really that girl you look
is not his real life but that is a great bit it's a great bit and I think it's
funny and it works and now I think I'm gonna promote that he's kids you know
I mean talk about perpetual that's the new t-shirt I got to do it says I got
kids on the back and says I need this job talk about perpetuating this
stereotype and let me tell you something this is a good thing better pay off because
the fact that he loses again to the miss again with the spring of the
missed in the face they're better be a pay off to this because Ziegler is
better than this yeah they were really it looks like he was getting they were
gearing him up for a monster push and they're making us wait too long
for it does it's swing back in his way what this guy on the vine creative I'm
just saying kind of what they do and did you see Rowan what would Rowan's
done with the mask no that is Rowan right what yeah Harper's the other one
okay you know cuz Rowan wears that yeah mask though he painted it with a clown face
on it now oh it makes it even creepy or that's you know what that's it
soft oh absolutely no it's not it's it's it's a phenomenon that's popped up
all over the country where people are just you know what I'm talking about
right people where I mean clowns are literally being spotted just lurking in
streets some brandishing weapons like it's become well that's wonderful yeah
it's I mean he's now painted a clown face on this mask and I'm like what's
creepier than the lab mask one painted with a clown face on you go clowns in
general freak me out at this age this is not a good year for you then you are

in two weeks from tonight is no mercy and then you'll have a two-week break and
then it'll be hell on a sell it ain't our call folks but then we'll have a
nice little break after that because there's no split paper view in November
because it's survivor series yeah good I'm with those rumors of the shield
reunion for survivor series I am I believe it when I see it all right gentlemen
let's go ahead and run the card real quick I'm gonna pull up my text messaging
here because I have to go to to what the boys have said first match will be
your pre-show match and after this it won't be in any specific order except
what I found important your pre-show match is Alicia Fox versus Nia Jax

Leonardo Leonardo's L.A. is weird L.A. says Nia Jax Chad
not a Jax Andrew I'm not an Andrew you're a dog I'm gonna long week and
I don't do a lot of construction here I like to push you're giving
with Fox again and stuff but I think the Jax is gonna get it something about
a snowball and hell well the person that finally beats her it's going to have to
be part of a program so I'm with you guys I'm with I a Jax here
Sammy Zane versus Chris Jericho L.A. says Sammy Zane Andrew says

will be Kevin Owens shenanigans because that's his best friend and they're
bit arrivals so that's true but that doesn't always work out in the I think

way okay I think we might change up the rules a little bit next year like what

non majors because if this brand separation stays for a while it's going

versus the shining stars I don't think either L.A. or Andrew have that on

get ready because this is going to be youred women's title match for Raw and what do you think
about Survivor Series in Bailey not yet still to early not yet I think Charlotte retains but it
will be at the expense of the other two I think there's going to be some kind of a misunderstanding
between Sasha and Bailey and Charlotte Brooke and Charlotte and Dana Brooke Charlotte takes advantage
so you think this is going to start a rivalry between Bailey and Sasha somebody who
was the chef from said fact checkers can have off day thank you whoever that is and Universal

Don kill steeped kill for those of you that don't know that is Kevin Owens because he was Kevin
steam in ROH Chad KO I agree I think that you put the bell ton raw ones right now if you truly again
if you're truly working towards this shield reunion I don't think it did you any good
unless boy what kind of a shield reunion would that be Rollins Universal Champion
reigns a US Champion and Rose gets the world title back that would be but I really think you
would be better off doing that with AJ and then the club wins tonight so so when shield reforms
is it a is it a healing it's only going to be a reunion for survivor series from what I'm reading
but yeah I think Kevin Owens wins just because it's too early yeah he just got it it'd be stupid
I mean but they've done a random person is your wife she didn't I guess she couldn't
haha you bought here's the thing I mean they've done super stuff like Zach Ryder winning at
WrestleMania give the belt the next night to miss I mean you're talking you're talking
wrestling what I don't want to talk about that match because it makes man I know but that
suggests they do stupid stuff the Zech Ryder win they broke up the shield because they wanted
to get ratings against the world series boy that was smart for one night and I will be interested
to see how tomorrow night works out because you know what tomorrow night is the first presidential
debate that's right and I'm gonna put it out there I'm gonna be watching me too
I can watch Raw later in the week I know it on that stuff sequel is going to be on Fox
Business News the next night is the idea to clock on which I think is why they've pushed the
season premiere of SNL back a week and you saw who they finally announced I don't remember but I
heard I know that the weekend is the musical guest and a little a young lady that played Harley
Quinn in a movie Margot Robbie is the S is the okay so I don't have grades from either one of them
so as the card stands right now Chad grade the card it's got B minus potential okay but realistically
because you said potential I won't reality it's not really really jazzing me all that much okay
on paper just on on name name wow factor it's it's a C on paper but it's got beam it's got
B minus but you're saying C right now right yeah okay Dawn just to make B minus happy and I
feel about I'm gonna say B minus you know what like I tend to do on this show I'm going to split
the difference a bit because I got so burned by backlash okay I'm gonna say C plus
and give it I might even rate it a C mean I'm just so burnt after a backlash made me so mad on so many levels
that I that I think even right now a C plus is me being generous but I'm gonna stand by my C plus
with that triple threat I think that gives it some that I will tell you what if we start with that
match I will be very very concerned because at no mercy I'm sorry backlash the women's match
was the first match and it was the best match on the card they empty their gun right at the start so
I'm not saying I'm just saying we are 26 minutes away from WWE clash of champions live
from the bankers life fieldhouse in Indianapolis in Indiana in two weeks it will be no mercy
which is a Smackdown paper view so get ready for that make sure that you subscribe to the
WWE network because apparently the day of paper view is officially over because they're not even
talking about paper viewing it's all the network now wow but why wouldn't you like if you're
paying for the paper views you must live in the country where they don't have the network
be it just doesn't make sense to pay fifty five dollars for a paper view when you can pay ten
and you can still get it in at least seven twenty yeah so we did for for backlash I got home
late so we watched it on the way and in eighty six to create WWE we are plugging you so you should
plug us okay you're plugging your network and just like they always say if you're not a subscriber
you get your first month free now granted the end of the month is Friday but wait till my back
yeah and then you'll have two paper views that you get for free it's really a low risk proposition
it's ten bucks bro yeah it's you know if you don't like it you're only out ten bucks and I don't
know that you even pay tax I think it's literally not even I think it's straight fee so all right let's
