It is 702 on the East Coast.
It is 402 on the West Coast.
It is the 18th of September in the year of our Lord 2016.
Episode 10 360 times this voice has welcomed you to the Clubhouse Podcast live every Sunday
night, seven Eastern, four Pacific, your one-stop shop for all things pop culture, welcome.
Whether you're live with us on Ustream, whether you're listening on our archive or whether
you subscribe on iTunes, maybe you do all three.
We're okay with that too.
My name is Rob.
I am the executive producer in the Clubhouse Podcast and in the Clubhouse today, it's
a lot cooler than it's been in a very, very long time long story.
But I'm not alone for this particular episode as I rarely ever am.
Joining me across the desk is my co-host and a man who has starred for some NFL football.
He is Chad.
Welcome, sir.
You ain't kidding, brother.
We got it on here in the studio for you.
Good cut the red zone channel up and running.
You mainline it directly into my blood system.
Oh, that's going to require surgery.
And I need like an IV drip coming off of that monitor.
Also joining us live in studio, do not adjust your podcasting app.
The Justin Timberlake of the Clubhouse Podcast has returned after a very lengthy absence
outside of pay-per-views.
And a woman who knows how to make her own Genghis girl at the house, really.
She is Charlotte.
Welcome, dear.
I used soap and noodles.
And there was, yeah, soap and noodles.
Is that a brand name or is that?
No, that's what they're actually called.
They're called soap and noodles.
They're kind of...
Not soap.
Soba.
They're kind of like...
Soap and noodles.
Yeah, they're kind of like Uda noodles that you would get Genghis, but they're a little
bit different.
They're healthier too.
Oh, OK.
Yes.
I don't worry about that.
No.
Also joining us after a very lengthy absence to the regular show.
He shows up for the pay-per-views.
But this is the first time he's doing this in a non-paper-view show in a very long
time.
And a man that feels my pain every Sunday during the fall.
He is Steven Zimmerman.
Welcome back, sir.
It's not pain.
If you know they're going to lose, then you win money.
That's fair.
Oh, wow.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
I want about $2 today.
That's all right.
Not to pay for whatever shirt they put on a fire sale, because they suck.
Ah, this team.
But you're right, though.
If you expect me to gochery, they don't force you to drink.
And that's important.
All right.
So we have a couple of corrections and a follow-up from last week, or from two weeks ago.
Last week, of course, I was out of town.
Had a great trip.
We're actually going to be talking about that during POI this week.
First of all, Rhino is running for a house seat in Michigan, not Minnesota.
I've screwed that up twice now.
God, I didn't think it was Minnesota.
But you think, you think wrestlers, you're just going to be Minnesota.
Yeah, yeah.
Default.
Also, the total Bella's debut is October the 5th.
We didn't have that date locked down.
So we got that now.
But we do have a follow-up from our last studio show, from your list, sir.
If you remember, we were talking about Dick's drive-in in Seattle.
I reached out to the show Heather Fogelman, who we named checked in the last episode.
And I had to scroll way back through some stuff here to get you the information you need.
Okay.
Apparently, here we go.
All right.
I mean, the little backwards.
You need to go back.
Don't tell me they're no more.
They've changed.
Hold on.
Okay.
The line could wrap around the building.
People outside playing hacky-sack and all sorts of shenanigans.
She said it's the best hangover burger, greasy and dripping with deliciousness.
The fries are meh.
But she has to admit she may have not been completely focused when she was there.
It's Seattle.
And apparently, Sir Mixellot references it in my posse on Broadway.
The lyric is.
I believe.
Yes.
The lyric is.
They said go back the other way.
We'll stop and eat it.
Yes.
This is the place where the cool hangout, the swaths like to play, and the rich flaunt clout.
I didn't know that's what he was referring to, but yes, I do remember that.
And yes, Charlotte is nodding silently and smiling.
Let's see.
She says it's very popular.
The popular one is in the Capitol Hill district.
There's one right on, as a drive and right on Broadway.
She says not vegan friendly.
It's like the Jim Rose circus outside.
Boy, there's a reference.
Well, that would also be posse on Broadway.
So that's where we're at on that.
So I wanted to make sure that I breached out to her if you listen to the show, I'd name
check her.
So she made sure to listen through, get to it, and then she gave me that all of that in
a text.
We got a pop culture reference worked in.
I didn't even realize it.
There we go.
All right.
Let me do a little modification of my screen right here.
Right here.
What was that?
Did you know we had the big, uh, nope, I don't want the results from that race.
That was last week's race.
I mean, shit, girl, because you know, remember, Tay was the big, uh, the big, the name
race that we thought was hilarious as the chase is underway in NASCAR.
That doesn't really narrow it down much today was the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles 400,
sir.
Darn it.
Where's the Chicago land speedway that happened today?
Your top 10 finishers and out of your top 10 finishers, seven of them are chase drivers.
There's remember everybody's still racing, but right now only the top 16 drivers matter.
Okay.
Cause they're on the trade in the chase.
So coming in 10th and the number 88 Chevrolet starting in 17th place, Alex Bowman, is he
on the big bank theory?
That sounds like something that would be on the big bank professor Alex Bowman.
Matt Kenzeth currently in the, actually, let me, the shorter list of people aren't in
chase.
Bowman not in the chase.
Matt Kenzeth starts in seven finishes, ninth in the number 20 Toyota, Kyle Bush in the
number 18 Toyota starts at the pole, winds up in, uh, eighth Kasey came, starts in 19th,
winds up in seventh, but he's not in the, in the chase in the number five Chevrolet.
Jenny Hamlin, who I like to get with a side of eggs, starts in third, winds up in sixth
as a number 11 Toyota, Brad Kezalowski in the number two Ford starts, starts in second,
winds up in fifth, Ryan Blaney, they call him the stone in the number 21 Ford start,
you've heard that joke before, it just, it just the way it hits me.
He starts in 20 second, winds up in fourth, the downside, not in the chase.
Your top three drivers are though, speaking of the chase, the man it's named after, starting
in 14th, winding up in third in the number 24 Chevrolet, chase Elliott, I don't think that's
why it's named that.
I don't think it's, uh, he gets the bronze, starting in ninth, ending up in second in
the number 22 Ford Joey Languano, and this is winning the race.
That's winning.
I have that with like a side of a chicken par and winning the race, I'm hungry, you have
that say, you start time and winning the race, starting in sixth and finishing first in
the number 78 Toyota Martin Truex Jr. Let me get you a refresh on the page because I got
everything set up like two hours ago, so I'm sure everything's changed since then.
Get you back into the, uh, the your standings for the thing I like to call the chase.
Right now in, in 16th place, dropping three is Chris Boucher, he is 34 points out.
He has 10 points behind Kyle Larson, who drops five slots.
Kevin Harvick drops 10 to the 14, Austin Dillon, the new sheriff in town is up to the 13.
Tony Stewart, you know what to call him?
Smoke killer easy.
Oh, he drops one to 12 Jamie McMurray of five to 11, uh, Kurt Bush up to the 10 Carl
backflip Edwards down four to nine, Jimmy Johnson, six times, six times, six times, six
times, six times, six times, spring cup champion stays at eight.
Matt Kenseth stays in seven chase Elliott up eight slots to six, Joey Languano up four
to five.
Tony Hamlin drops one to four, Kyle Bush drops from the lead to third place, but he's
only four points back as Brad keselowski is one point back on your leader and of course
the winner of the race because it's the first race of the chase, Martin Truex Jr., who
jumps five spots.
So now the chase is officially on as we finish the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles for I can't
even say that not laugh.
Next weekend, next Sunday, two o'clock Eastern on your local NBC SN affiliate at the New
Hampshire Motor Speedway, you ready for creativity?
We're in New Hampshire.
We're going there next week for the New England 300 because geography matters, people.
Russ is in the chaperone going to see you if you didn't know Florida is Florida.
That's right.
Did you see?
I don't know if you saw a PTI on Friday because it was this birthday and they had the staff
come up with other names for rappers who are from different states like Ken Tucky, Ari
Zona.
Oh my god.
Oh no, the Ken Tucky kind of side of the whole world.
I'll ask that.
Oh god.
No.
I made that work.
I'll ask that.
Ask her.
Oh god.
All right, so let's do some TV talk, shall we?
So tonight's the Emmys.
Is it?
Wow.
We've already been awarded.
We're going to talk about those here in a minute.
I don't know if you guys are up on current events, but last night in this country was a very,
very, very weird goings on.
No kidding.
In Cindyary devices just found all over the place in the Northeast, no increased security
for the Emmys tonight.
They're not doing it.
Wow.
So be aware of that.
But a couple of notes from the creative arts Emmys, Archer wins the Emmy for Outstanding
Animated Series, which would make my daughter very happy, which I'm my boss is a huge fan
and he keeps on going to start watching it and I'm like, that list is so long.
I tried.
I couldn't get into it.
And battle the bastards from Game of Thrones, it was the last episode of Game of Thrones
this season.
Okay.
Nine creative art Emmys.
That episode won nine.
Wow.
Yeah, I could, okay, yeah, the technology is that episode, the battlefield scene alone.
So we have some premier notes for you.
The second half of season four of Vikings going to be set November 30th at nine Eastern.
Can you believe that show is still a thing?
I can't.
My wife liked the first season and then she got to the second season, she was like, I'm
out.
I hated the first season.
I didn't even continue it.
I thought it was terrible.
Did you get the official Charles Barkley?
It's terrible.
And that was Charlotte doing that, not me.
Kind of how I feel about fear, the fear of the walking dead.
Didn't bother coming up.
So the gen started watching it yet.
It started on shaky legs and those legs just rotted off.
Dude, I did there.
That was kind of hoping to fight through that, but okay.
Thank you.
Thank you for that modicum of support.
I can.
NBC has renewed American Ninja Warrior for season six.
How does that show yeah, are they only oh dear, that seems unfortunate.
Is that season six on NBC because has an American ninja warrior been on longer than that?
Or is that include the G4 days?
Well, I don't think that includes the because G4 was just ninja warrior, but didn't they
start American too?
I thought they did.
They started broadcasting it like with the last month, they were right.
So it probably includes those that this is all NBC universal, right?
So the Jim Gaffigan show, which I've seen a couple episodes of, has been canceled.
By Jim Gaffigan.
Really?
Yes.
He is canceled his own show.
He's got a lot of things coming up and he's just like, look, I don't, we don't have
time to commit.
We might come back to the show later, but for now we're canceling.
I doubt he'll get a network given the time of day if he walks away from it.
It's TV land.
Because you have heard what else TV land is ordered a pilot for it.
I'm assuming you're about to tell me the Heather series, not the love boat.
They do, do we need that?
They've ordered a pilot and don't be surprised they pull off the love boat again.
In this day and age, is that something that you really want to make a, I'm not saying
I agree with it.
I'm just saying it to thing.
I was questioning that film when it came out.
I'm like, aren't you kind of giving out the wrong idea?
Amazon has canceled hand of God after two seasons.
Never watched an episode.
I remember hearing it mentioned, but I've never watched it either.
In news that really does upset me and last night, again, thank you to Dave Scott for my
birthday this year.
He got me a ticket.
Last night, I got to check something off the bucket list was watching the phone feed.
One of my leaders, and we'll talk about that because we've got so much content, we'll
have to talk about it off air, but I got to see Kevin Smith last night and had an absolute
blast and friend of the show Clay Harrison was there and we sat together and he broke
this news to me and I had to verify it when I got home.
Showtime has canceled roadies.
You're kidding.
Did not get the ratings they wanted.
Did it end on a cliffhanger kind of?
Not really.
So they not really, I mean, a little bit of one, but not enough for you to go, man, what
a waste.
And I love that show.
Again, if you get through the first two episodes, it really picks up.
The Lindsey Buckingham episode where everything just you are so on board now, Cameron Crowe.
Very upset about this.
Fox is now dipping into the superhero pool again as they will be doing a series based
on the character of Black Lightning, basically the grown up static shock, which means it'll
be on for a season and then the CW will get it and then I'll be right in the world.
Amazon has bought the rights to now stay with me because I'm going to say this and your
brain's going to go to the wrong place.
It's a series that's going to start Richard Madden.
It's going to be about a priest sent into space to found a new colony, but discoveries
that he's there make him question even his own faith.
It is called and I'm not kidding you.
This is the name of the book series.
It's based on strange new things.
So this is not the asylum, but you know what people are going to go?
It's strange new things, not stranger things, strange new things.
We have to make sure that we're completely clear on that.
I wonder if Netflix not try to slap them with some sort of a, they can't because that's
the name of the book that it's based on.
But that's happened.
That's the source.
Yeah.
It's a fair point.
I said before Avatar rings a bell.
There's that.
Like speaking of which night segway, by the way, for a man that doesn't have the run
sheet in front of him, they're going to be doing a 10 episode run of a series based on
the Spike Lee film.
She's got to have it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I saw that.
I don't know how I feel about this.
I don't know it.
I mean, I've seen the majority of Spike Lee's work.
That's the one seminal work of his I've never seen.
Really?
Never seen it.
Good flight.
It's good flight.
I haven't seen school days either.
So.
It's not a bad film.
So it's like I prefer early as films.
I haven't seen.
But school days not a bad film.
Let's see.
Netflix also going to be now.
He has why not?
Let's just everything that's old is new again.
Netflix rebooting lost in space.
Yeah.
I saw that they announced a casting, but I didn't see it.
It will be a Taylor Russell is playing Judy.
OK.
It's going to be 10 episodes in 2018.
Well, anything's got to be better than that POS remake of a film they did with Matt
LeBlanc.
Do you remember Gary Oldman was in that thing?
What he would need?
He was the doctor.
Doctor.
Yeah.
And I don't want to say it was the first thing I saw what your name of Lacey
Shabair.
Lacey Shabair.
She had already done party of five by that.
Like I said, first thing I saw and then she would go on for the first two seasons
to be the voice of Meg on family guy.
And to this day, nobody knows why she left the show.
Ming girls.
I'm a fan of the Lacey Shabair.
I have to.
I wear pink on Wednesday.
What?
It's a Ming girls reference.
Well, OK, OK.
Doesn't even go here.
Yeah, geez.
Speaking of the Emmys, I forgot to put this right in the right place.
The theme Marvel now has an Emmy because Jessica Jones wins for best theme at the creative
arts.
Team song.
It's kind of kind of like it's Bobby Root's glory.
It's Bobby Root's glory.
Yes.
You know what?
Why doesn't?
It's on television.
Why can't we have the best wrestling theme at the Emmys?
I'm robbing right now.
Bobby Root will win every year because wrestling has its own award show.
It's just that TNA doesn't have to be a part of it.
We have an RD whole joining us.
Really?
You want to clarify that for me?
Welcome, sir.
This man has been involved in award show presentations.
Oh, really?
Yes.
We have to.
Well, I mean, this guy, whenever they had the Purple Rain Memorial screening a couple of
weeks back by the by the Ampest, this is the man that organized it.
Oh, welcome, sir.
Welcome to the show, my friend.
Good to see you.
Well, we have you.
He's asking about a robot, but we don't know who the robot's going to be in lost in
space yet.
I'm assuming that's what he's asking.
Oh, yeah.
What was he called?
Robby.
Robby.
No.
That was Robby the robot because it was the same robot that Yutzen forbidding planet.
No.
What an exact same.
It was pretty close.
It was pretty close.
Uh, Fox.
Oh.
Oh, no.
I need to take a deep breath before we talk about this because you're not going to
believe me that this is a thing, but this is a thing.
If I can believe that Lita Weapon and the actresses are going to premiere on that
show.
Let's talk about Lita Weapon because friend of the show Kevin Daniels from the movie
brothers went to an event last week before last where he watched the first episode of
Lita Weapon and the first episode of pitch.
And I want to say the main reason he was there was that was just that was it was a trailer
for Empire.
Oh, wow.
He said Lita Weapon, not that bad, but what did I say at lunch?
I know, Charlotte.
There's no reason.
It's not the movie.
Exactly.
Same reason why they had no reason to reboot rush hour on another network earlier this
year that failed.
I rest my case.
Uh-huh.
I don't say anything.
But he said he said pitch was one of those that's like, yeah, we all know where this is
going.
So let's just move on kind of the thing.
Oh, really?
That's too bad.
But Fox is developing the last week before two weeks ago, you're running late.
And we talked about how NBC is doing a remake of Oliver Twist with a female lead.
Fox says, no, what?
We're going to go one step further on you.
Oliver Twitt.
I'll go last week's the last episode was called Olivia Twist.
And that was our Andrew.
By the way, today's Andrew's birthday.
So you want to say happy birthday to the king of bowling.
Uh, Camelot, you're a big fan, right?
I'm a big fan of the source material.
All right.
It's a deep breath for me here.
Modern day Manhattan.
No, no, no, no.
Oh, no, you got to stay with me on this modern day Manhattan, where Al, Al, no, I'm
sorry, art, art, no, no, art.
Stay with me.
This is a thing.
Please stop.
Art lives in Manhattan as a struggling graffiti artist.
Oh, shut up.
Please.
He deals with his best friend Lance, who's dating his ex-girlfriend Gwen, Jenny, okay,
Gwen, who happens to be a cop because it's a police procedural as an ancient magic awakens
in modern day, man, even just took off his headphones and walked out of the studio.
What's his name?
Murl?
This is a thing.
No, it's not.
This is a thing.
We have a right to the empire to report the news.
This is a thing.
So what's, okay, so this is the same network that brought us.
What was that Doyle and Houdini that failed?
How about the passion?
Live.
Exactly.
This smacks of that.
This absolutely smacks of that.
To give the passion credit what credit is to.
The passion's been a thing that's been done overseas for years.
That's not some of the f**k.
Modernize a modernization.
Yes.
That bit has been going on in Europe for years.
It doesn't necessarily mean it's a good idea.
But again, this thing.
One thing I will give credence to is how Bosnian modernized Romeo and Juliet, and I didn't
think that would work at all.
And it did.
Two is certainly.
That's also did to get down, which reinforces that theory.
He's not involved in this.
Let's just call it for what it is.
Well, but I'm just saying that you could take something old and make it brand new and
it doesn't necessarily fail.
Not like this again.
But yeah, but this.
As a police procedure.
Yeah, this.
You're so far away from the concept of the idea.
I had issues with what stars did with Camelot.
That was at least stomachable, though.
There's just no way this can be good.
It was a rough watch.
I'm putting it out there right now.
There's no way this can be good.
Take this out behind the witch next to old Yellor and put six in it.
We wrapping up some TV talk.
We do have the new SNL cast members announced with Jay Farrow being gone as well as Taryn
Killam.
Mikey Day, who was a writer on that show before an Alex Muffet and a Melissa Villasignor
or via senior.
I don't know how that one works, but those are your new cast members.
Senior Benjamin.
No, that's good boy.
I'm not even going there.
I am.
For once, at one point, I thought that was actually Shelton Benjamin, but they were doing
a bit with.
It's not him.
I saw a picture of that guy.
He got a light, then.
All right.
TV, this week on DVD and Blu-ray, the originals season three, because the CW can't stop
doing these vampire shows, Twin Peaks box set this week with the original series Fire
Walk With Me and a thing called The Missing Pieces, as we're getting ready for the reboot
from Showtime next year.
Win and if that ever thing gets off the ground, a British series called Mid-Summer Murders
series 18.
I have to ask my wife about that, but I've never heard of that.
I'm sure that the audio is very distinct, and I think I don't even have to say it anymore.
That's the best part of it.
I don't even have to say it.
I just see the life force drain from him.
Blue Blood season six, which at first I was like, man, I can't believe that show's been
on that area that long, but I think back.
And when Cody co-hosted the show with me, this was his show that he predicted was the
show to watch.
It's good.
I've seen it.
Your friend says that it is a big guy.
I mean, think about that.
Miss VSC Neor is the first Latina SNL cast member.
I didn't even think about that, but he's absolutely right.
I get, yeah, I guess so.
Good looking out, R.D.
Let's see, Modern Family season seven, I feel like it'll be a lot longer than that.
Yeah, it does.
I would have think they were approaching Tan already.
And speaking of a show that's maybe on been on longer than we thought it was, and that's
not necessarily a good thing, but it's one my wife is now addicted to.
Two Bro Girls season five.
It's not that bad.
Sometimes I'll walk through the bedroom and she's watching it, and I'll just, I'll stop
down, like, maybe this'll be good.
And then I look at, I go, nope, still not.
Well, I like, uh, what, uh, cat, cat, do, cat, I like her.
She's funny, isn't it?
How you doing, cat?
How you doing?
Ah, let's see.
I think I like her for a different reason.
Rookie Blue, the complete series, because we've got to make money somewhere, uh, criminal
minds beyond borders season one.
I don't know if Tan got it, because she's a big criminal of mine's fan.
I don't know if she got into the spin-off or not.
I didn't realize I'd done a spin-off.
I just started this.
Well, it's just season one this year.
It's got Gary Sinesan in it.
No, it's not.
Really?
I'm a big fan of the Gary Sinesan myself.
And the ESPN 30 for 30 Dock and Darryl gets a release this week.
Okay.
Okay.
That was really, really good.
It was a big fan of that.
I'm a big fan of 30 for 30 in general, as very well documented on this show.

reason that me or my wife are on Pinterest.
Jules Walmick just showed up the house tonight apparently.
Yeah, she was feeling kind of like you're riding solo when you got here to the studio.
All right.
So let's do a little POI.
POI stands for Person of Interest.
It is a segment we do on this show where we take a person and an or an entity and debate
their greatness or lack thereof.
Steven said he's got to take off having to have him dinner with with his family.
Please tell them we said hello.
Always good to see you.
Charlotte, where are you going?
Fluckers.
Okay.
I love Fluckers.
I'm a plucker bike.
L at the beginning of that word.
Just so that we're aware.
Love you all and I'll see you soon.
Love you to your brother.
Be safe.
Be safe.
Getting back to San Antonio's lovely lady friend was here in the quiet corner.
So there's a pleasure.
Please be safe.
All right.
So POI.
I was going to do this two weeks ago but then what I realized was I wanted to wait until
after the fact.
Yeah.
That makes more sense.
Because last weekend, it's very well documented on the show.
Last weekend, I was a Disney World and you're probably thinking of yourself Rob.
Why are you in Disney World in the middle of September and not like a summer thing?
Well, no, first of all, they're open every day.
Secondly.
Cooler in September.
Well, I know it really wasn't.
But every September, the weekend after Labor Day, Disney does a thing called Night of
Joy where what they do is at the Magic Kingdom and they shut down the park and you have to
have a special ticket and there's six stages at different places around the park where
it's basically a two-night Christian music festival.
This year, they changed a bit.
This year, for the first time ever, by the way, because when I was a kid, I went six years
running.
Seven years running.
Oh, that's right.
That's right, ring.
I went seven years running as a kid.
Last year, a friend of the show, the Hansen family, who I am, you talk about people that
are just better to me than they ever have to be.
Patty called me up last year and she said, Rob, you want to go to Night of Joy.
I was like, I don't know.
And then she's like, no, come on down.
We'll take care of you.
And so I went last year.
They called me back again this year.
I got to hang out with my nephew and my niece, who I'm just, could not be proud of those
two kids.
Our kids are both in their 20s now.
They changed the bit this year.
For the first time ever, they pulled it out of the Magic Kingdom.
There were four venues.
Three venues.
I'm sorry, there's three venues.
And then there was a fourth one that was more like a fan fest kind of a thing.
But they put it at ESPN's wide world of sports.
What?
That was my first reaction.
My first thought was, you're kind of blowing the outreach out of this thing.
Because the whole thing is, you get the kids, hey, we're going to go to Disney World.
They're going to have rides.
So we're going to go on ride, ride, ride, we're going to do this.
And then you have the concerts there and it kind of works the outreach and they can hear
the word and whatever.
So I was very curious to see how this worked this year because would the attendance be
the same, would there be that same atmosphere?
There were ups, there were downs, there's pluses and minuses here.
For the first time ever, they actually allowed the artists to sell their own merch.
Oh, nice.
Oh, nice.
When I was a kid, you couldn't even buy Night of Joy merch.
That wasn't something that could happen until fairly recently.
By the way, the Night of Joy shirts this year were great.
It was a big fan.
Did you get one?
I did not.
Kind of a shoestring budget right now.
Okay, okay.
Especially after when I came home and it's with 86 degree house and had to replace the whole
system, but that's a whole different issue.
But there were three major venues, the HP Field House, which is kind of where they will
do your indoor sports.
Think of a smaller version of the American Airlines Center, but no seats on one side.
It's solid on one side.
So it's more like a D shape than an oval.
Okay, okay.
Then you have the Justin Center, which I didn't really get to go in there as in the Class
Ring.
Yes.
Yes.
Another one of their field houses.
Then you have the Champion Stadium, which is a fully blown baseball stadium.
This is where the Braves do spring training.
Spring training.
As I had to take my picture with the Braves Spring Training plaque because I'm a fan.
I know you probably marked out like a school kid.
And then they also had in the ESPN little restaurant in there.
They had the talent showcase stage where you'd have people that come that maybe you're
unsigned artists or whatever and then come and play a couple of songs and do a quick interview
and then they had an old thing there.
It's been a little time there on the second night, not a nice little venue.
But the way you could actually buy different packages of tickets and one package of the
tickets, the package that we had was one day you get to go to a water park.
And then on the other day, you can pick one of the theme parks to go to and you can spend
the day there.
But all of the events for a night of joy, of course, were at night.
So then you'd have to make your way over to why a lot of sports.
I will say from a transportation standpoint, very well done.
The first night we actually took the van over there and the traffic was a little wonky.
The second night, because we went to the water park the first day, went to Blizzard Beach,
had a wonderful time.
Second day, we ended up doing Hollywood studios because last year we were at the Magic
Kingdom.
We wanted to mix it up a little bit, got to see some cool Star Wars stuff and made me
happy.
And I got to go to Muppet Vision, always good time.
So the second night, we decided we were going to take the bus.
So we were at, because it was hot.
And I'm surprised my legs survived the weekend because we went to the water park, Blizzard
Beach has like a little ski lift thing, but it doesn't take you all the way to the top.
But everything else in that park is stairs.
Oh, boy.
Yeah, it was a tough day.
Yeah.
You with your tip top and condition needs.
But you know what?
They held up very nicely.
How did great time?
Yeah, but how many pain pills have you taken since you've been back?
None.
No.
Like a boss.
Good, congrats, man.
My knees held up like a boss.
Man.
So you put them to all kinds of stuff.
And then you think about how much we walked the next day in Hollywood studios.
Oh, good lord.
But Hollywood studios, we actually took the bus back to the resort, saved the old QS, which
is so beautiful.
It's like you get your own condo and it's right there on the golf course.
Right.
Oh, so it was amazing.
So we took the only problem with getting there, you had, we had to take the bus from the
resort to one of the parks and then from one of the parks to wide world of sports.
There's no direct bus, but coming back, they went to all the resorts direct.
You didn't have to worry about it coming back.
So I would say edge of a victory goes to the bus system because it was a lot quicker.
Taking the van, we got, you know, it was just a straight shot back to the resort because
when you take the bus, there's four different bus stops around that particular resort.
Right.
And we were number three.
So it's almost a wash, but the edge goes to the bus just by a little bit.
I wish they would extend that monorail system out a little bit or do something a little
bit more efficient with it and utilize that monorail better from an entertainment standpoint.
And I'm just talking entertainment from a musical standpoint.
I give them not to wide world of sports for the venue, you mean, for the venue itself.
Now I, I, I spent almost all of my time at the baseball stadium because those, that's
where the bands that I wanted to see were Friday night.
I saw Francesca Battistelli who did an absolutely amazing job.
I'm afraid you talk.
Yeah, I've heard you talk.
I'm an even bigger fan of her now than I was two weeks ago.
She held church for about 12,000 people and they were all, because you had seats, you
had all the seats in the stadium, which seats about 10,000 and then you had seats on the
field.
You had to buy premium seats for that.
But you're talking total about 15,000 people.
It wasn't completely full yet because she was the first act, but she brought her again.
Chris Tomlin followed her and I'm very hit or miss with Chris Tomlin, normally.
So going into this, I was like, yeah, I'll sit through it.
It'll be good times because I'm in a seat, I'm not standing, you know, which is another
edge because I'm sitting at a chair versus every venue at the Magic Kingdom was a standing
venue.
Yeah, like that show we went to at the fair a couple of years.
Pretty much.
That was harsh.
Chris Tomlin, huge fan now.
He absolutely destroyed it and there was not an empty seat in that stadium or on the
field, which he referred to as the praise pit, which I thought was very fun.
Headliners for Friday night, one of my favorite bands, casting crowns.
There you go.
I thought that's not so fast, my friend, really.
When you play a set and again, huge fan of the crowns have been for years, we went to
this Texas State Fair and saw them there.
Yes, exactly.
That's why we went there.
When you play at 1130 at night and I'm listening to the slowest possible material you have and
slower versions of the faster material you have, you're going to put a bunch of people
in.
I was a dude.
Seriously.
You've already been there all day at this point.
You're already worn out.
Been at the water park all day.
You've been in the stadium all night.
So you're going to have cast your crowns come out and do their lullaby set.
That makes no sense to me.
I come on, man.
I love you guys.
I still love them.
I'm still a huge fan.
Their brand new album just came out of Friday.
I have not gotten it yet, but I have every intentions to, but I was like, come on, man.
I love you guys too much.
So Saturday we went to Hollywood studios, had an absolute blast.
We ended up spending most of that day all as a big group together.
Although my nephew and his friend and I got there first, so we're like, look, we got
rides to hit.
Y'all can just catch up to us later because we went straight to Arosmith, which they
haven't changed.
I love that ride.
I love that ride.
I mean, it's a great ride, but they haven't.
Yeah.
What can you do?
You can tell it's the Arosmith from 1992.
It's, yeah, we don't need video of Stephen Tyler.
Welcome you to the ride.
Now he looks now.
Then we hit right after that, we hit Tower of Terror, which I thought that was the one
they were tearing out.
It's the one in California that they're tearing out for the Guardians of the Galaxy.
That's a relief.
Hit some more rides, went to the new Star Tours.
Very much enjoyed it.
That starts out with the tight chase through the abandoned Star Destroyer in episode seven.
You're kidding.
No, it does not.
That's how it begins.
And we ended up running up with the same one that Tom and Patti went on, and they're
supposed to be like five different ones, but we both had the same exact one.
It's in 3D, which I don't think it was before, was it?
I don't think so.
But it's in 3D now.
So after we go through that chase, BB-8 shows up and sends us to Naboo, so we go into
the water and through the core of the planet and all that.
My wife would freak.
Very much enjoyed the Star Tours.
How did great time?
And at one point, as you're trying to leave, Vader shows up in front of you and he's
trying to stop your ship because he says there's a rebel spy on your craft, and they actually
take a picture of someone in your craft and it shows up on the screen.
That was pretty neat.
I don't know if they get a little piece of swag when they get off, but you don't know
until you're in there.
All of a sudden it's like, oh, that's your picture.
So the second night, we kind of went a little bit later, my nephew and his buddy went back
to the room and kind of chilled out for a little while.
The night opened with Hillsong Young and Free, which, very man, I've said it before, Hillsong
is the Wu-Tang clan of Christian music.
There's like 150 of them.
But I'm sure they would love that comparison, but I've said it before.
I'm just saying.
They'd probably say the same thing and there's like a bajillion of us.
So we got there, right as Hillsong Young and Free is wrapping up, we went and grabbed some
dinner, headed to the baseball stadium, because second up was a band called for King and
Country, who they're from Australia, their sister, their two brothers, their sister is
a young lady by the name of Rebecca St. James, who's been in the Christian, yeah,
Charlotte knows who she is.
She's been in Christian music for over 20 years.
They're her younger brothers.
They're actually one of them is starring the other one producing in a movie coming out
next month called Priceless, which actually looks pretty good.
I'm a casual fan of for King and Country.
I'm kind of like, you know what, God bless you for what you do.
That was a show, sir.
That was an absolute show.
I was on my feet during this show.
At one point, they're walking, all of them just jumped off the stage or are walking through
the crowd.
Got a guy with a bass drum, just playing a thing and they're out there singing and dancing.
They're standing on the dugout.
It's like, it was, it was a show.
So I was like, okay, headliner Saturday night, big fan of the newsboys, especially with
since Michael Tatesman with them, they show up hour and a half sets scheduled.
We are ready to ROCK in the USA.
Stop 20 minutes early.
Why?
I don't know.
I think they ran out of material.
I don't think they planned enough because if you ever go to a newsboy show, everything
is tight.
Everything is timed.
I could tell Michael Tate was killing time because he was improvising certain things.
Like, you could see him talking about certain things like this is not what they normally
do.
Duncan's drum set was not hooked up so he did not get to be, because what he does in
their normal show, who needs his drum solo, they raise him up, turn him vertical, and then
spin him and he's still playing drums.
So he pulls the Tommy Lee basically?
Yes.
When I saw this thing, I was like, he's not going anywhere tonight.
It's not set for it.
But I will say this.
You're too big as draws.
He might be the two big.
And the two that I was very mad about ended up being the best shows.
But I will tell you this, they have a brand new album called Love Riot, which I don't
have yet when I need to get.
When they did the title track, Michael comes out and he talks about all the violence and
we're in Orlando.
Oh yeah.
Okay.
So all the lights go down and they're showing a video montage of everything that's been
going on.
And who do you think gets the most airtime in that video?
Who?
Location wise or person wise?
Person wise.
Gosh, is this our police chief?
Really?
Yes, sir.
Our.
Our Dallas.
David Brown gets it.
David, because he apparently, I missed this press conference, but he did a press conference
where he did the whole thing of like, look, we've seen violence before.
As like when our savior died and rose from the dead three days later.
And I say to those of the people that perpetrated this, that he said back then, death, where
is thy sting grave, where is thy victory?
And that place went crazy.
I was like, that's my people.
Did you, like, you know they did a remake that the blackout piece re, re released, where
is the love?
Oh, really?
He's in the video.
David Brown's in that.
And it was, I was just kind of like, look at that, look at Dallas getting the love.
It's a shame he's leaving us.
But he's retiring.
And, you know, I mean, he's been through enough in this year alone.
But from a performance standpoint, overall, I think this year gets an edge because since
they had more room to play with, the technology was much, much better.
Yeah.
Now, my nephew and his buddy went and saw a couple of bands at the HP Field House and
said the acoustics in there were terrible.
Now, they wouldn't saw Crowder and I'm not a big Crowder fan.
But Mercy Me was playing in there, but they were playing at the same time as casting
crowns.
So, hindsight being what it is.
But what they were doing is because they went on at different times, they were actually
beaming in, they were simulcasting those concerts at the other venues that there wasn't a concert
going on.
That being said, Mercy Me, big fan, huge fan, their last album is the best album they
had ever recorded.
Welcome to the new is amazing.
Very, it felt like they were going through motions and I don't know what it was.
Probably just tired.
Could be.
I don't know.
Like, even Chris Thomas, because Chris Thomas played an hour and a half.
And at about the hour 25, he's like, I'm tired.
My voice is shot.
I've been in, I've been a Disney World all day with a four year old and a two year old.
That's a whip in it.
But I'm telling you, he brought it.
So, from a performance standpoint, Edge goes to the way they're doing it now.
Because they've already announced next year's going to happen.
I'm assuming they're going to be doing the same bit.
But here's the downside.
I still think the downside is the lack of ability to do outreach.
Now, there were some cool interactive displays.
Like they had a big trailer that you can go and play the new Maddenat and they had all
the soccer fields open.
There were people out there playing games and stuff.
And the fan fest was neat, but it was a bit of a cluster because that's where all the
merch was.
And each artist had their own merch line.
But like, so like right after for King and Country play, like, you weren't going to get
through that line.
It was huge.
But also in that same room, they had an artist stage where when I walked in there, Francesca
Battistelli and Matthew West were on stage doing a Q&A, which was pretty neat.
So I don't know, I can't say that it was because it wasn't a failed bit because the place
was packed.
It was absolutely packed full of people.
It was very organized.
It was not very chaotic at all.
They need to work on the availability of food at the concession stands because when we
went to go get food on the first night, we went over to the HP fields.
The concession lines were outrageous where we were and they were out of everything.
So here I am with my chicken nuggets and fries and a drink when I could have had like a nice
wrap, maybe a beautiful salad they had on display, no, sorry, right of that.
So the work on Disney work on your concessions availability, which is usually not a problem
for them.
There's a brand new stadium there that's going to be multipurpose and I think it's going
to be an outdoor football type stadium.
It's not very big, but it's going to be big enough that they can host like high school
stuff.
I did like the availability of being able to go to a park one day, but I think they should
make that a little bit more affordable.
So you can take the kids there during the day, have everybody go to the concerts at night.
What other than that, I mean, it definitely exceeded my expectations plus the fact of
getting to spend that time with people that I don't get to see often enough once a year
at this point.
You know, twice this year.
That's true.
I got to see them as patty patty was out of town, but Tom and Josh I got to hang out with.
I had a great time, it exceeded my expectations, but even if that part of it bombed, I got
to hang out with people who I absolutely adore and who I've been friends of mine for
almost 30 years.
And they're, you know, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, they're chill, they're
all their children, they're people that they're, their parents have were the first humans
to ever call me Uncle Rob.
So there's always that, that connection that I have with them and I wouldn't trade it
for the world.
But it's, it'll be interesting to see if they make any adjustments next year, because
I think there's some more things they could do with it creatively, but it's definitely,
I mean, and getting out of there, getting in and out was, it wasn't as big of a whip
as I thought it might be, but it wasn't bad.
How did great time?
Well, they switched a bit up from last year to this year, so I imagine they'll probably
figure, took what they thought worked and removed what they thought didn't work.
Hopefully they'll get, hopefully they'll take some feedback from people.
But I will say this, I'm okay if you just play the concerts between the concerts.
I didn't need the comedian that came out.
Oh no.
Yeah, it always takes me back to that, the friends clip about the kissing.
It's like the comedian where you're waiting for Pink Floyd.
Oh yeah.
It took me back to that, because I was like, the guy was kind of funny, but I was like,
they did have like an illusionist that came out in the beginning of the evening, and
he was a lot of fun.
But I was like, just playing you the other concerts or playing me some music.
I'm here for music.
Well, if it's a comedian on the level of Mr. Hawkins, I think I really did.
If it was Tim Hawkins, and you just call it that, yeah.
You give him his own set.
I say he should have his own set of something like this.
So that is my night of joy report from 2016.
It was an amazing time.
I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Now becoming a regular feature this time, if you're...
I'm hoping.
I'm hoping.
I love the magic bands.
I think the magic bands is a beautiful, beautiful thing.
Because you just put your little magic band up a bit of thing, and then you just walk
in.
You don't have to carry it.
It's...
I'm a big fan of the magic band.
You might want to explain that.
Because when you start...
The people that don't know, it's a bracelet that you can get.
When you go to the zone, it has your name on it.
All of your information is there.
You can actually have your credit card hooked up to it.
So you don't have to carry anything in the park.
Yeah, they used to do this with your room key.
And you put your wrist up against this...
I'm doing this to the microphone like people can see me.
These guys have these big gold orbs.
And you just put it up there, and it just registers that you have a ticket to the park
or wherever you're going for...
You use it as your fast pass.
And now that you put it up there, it spins, but you have to put your fingerprint on a
deal too, so they make sure that you're using your magic band.
And these things are highly collectible, I take it.
You can have custom ones for sure.
Did you keep it or did you toss it?
I've gotten this year's end last year sitting in the living room right now.
Okay.
Because I was going to bring my one from last year with me.
And Patty was like, no, it's no additional cost.
What color do you want this year?
It's like blue, please.
Did I have a red been last year or so?
I heard that going for me, which is nice.
All right, let us move on.
That's the longest POI we've done in a while.
Probably.
You take a sip of my beverage.
Smart water.
I don't feel any smarter.
All right, let's talk some college football.
What a day in college football yesterday.
Let's go through some of the scores.
Number six Houston, all over Cincinnati, like a bad suit, 40 to 16.
Number 16, Baylor blows out rice 38 to 10.
We have to cover Mikey's friends over in Arkansas state
who lose by two touchdowns to Utah state.
Oh, they're the Aggies.
I didn't know that.
Number five, Clemson, did you hear about this?
Oh my God, somebody lost a scholarship yesterday.
South Carolina state takes the kickoff.
For some reason, the guy that catches the ball forgets to take a knee.
I don't know maybe if he was protesting Colin Kaepernick.
I don't know.
But he goes to flip the ball to the ref.
The ref's like, I'm not touching it.
That's a live ball.
Clemson jumps on top of it for a touchdown.
This was just the beginning.
And then the 59 to nothing drumming was odd.
Oh God.
I saw that I'm like, are you kidding me?
I think I was drinking something at the time.
I spit it across the room.
North Dakota state upsets Iowa 23 to 21
with a last second field goal.
That made it much.
You just turned into Gizmo.
Uh, almost an upset for badger, badger, badger, badger, badger
yesterday.
And I do that every time.
It never gets a reaction.
She does it.
Because you don't expect it from her.
Wisconsin wins 23 to 17, their number 11.
TCU with a big win over Iowa state 41 to 20.
Number 14, Tennessee, squeaks one out against Ohio.
This one got squirrely in the first half.
But Tennessee kind of ratcheted down.
Came back on that.
I like it when things get squirrely.
Miami beats up on Appalachian state on the road.
45 to 10.
They are the number 15 team going into this week.
I've said it before.
I'll say it again.
I don't like the Hurricanes, but Mark Rict was the best
possible hire they could have gotten.
Georgia's shame on you for getting rid of that man.
I put up a tweet yesterday.
And I stand by this tweet because I am a man of integrity.
As much as I hate Florida State University.
If it's not Florida beating them like that, I can't enjoy that game.
All you people that didn't think Louisville was for real.
Florida State at the time was number two team in the country.
Louisville was number 10.
Louisville at home decides not today Homer 63 to 20.
Facebook was just alive with people going dang.
Dude, it was 35 to 10 at the half.
I'm having lunch yesterday with friends of the show.
Phil and Shannon are feel a big four to state family.
And I don't talk trash because I can't affect the outcome of the game.
And I there at every fiber of my being abores that school.
But what is like that?
My hatred just turns to sympathy.
Because I'm like, I've been on the other side of this coin.
This sucks.
That's tough to be you that day.
Accord over Marshall 65 to 38 Vanderbilt gets beat up on Georgia Tech 38 to seven.
Let's see what else we got going.
Washington State just drumming Idaho in their own house 56 to six.
South Florida big win over Syracuse 14 point favorites win by 25.
Nice.
45 to 20 Virginia Tech shows Boston College with zero looks like as they score seven
touchdowns on them Nebraska almost blows it yesterday at home against Oregon.
This game got weird in the third quarter 35 32 year final there.
Michigan beats up on Colorado in the big house 45 to 28.
Let's see.
Michigan's the big house.
Right.
Yeah.
I always get those confused number 22 San Diego State beats up on Northern Illinois while
they're on the road 42 to 28.
I also got going on here Alabama Alabama Ole Miss.
Yes.
This is the one I was watching yesterday.
This one, you know, your number one, you're playing number 23 and you win that game.
What was it?
Five points.
Forty eight twenty three sucks to have the under Ole Miss was not making it easy on
it.
Speaking of sucks to have the under Kentucky over to Mexico State 62 to 42.
Mikey was cracked about that because that's his school.
He loves Kentucky.
Good.
Mercy.
He can be Kentucky.
That could be it.
That's what to say.
Open that door.
Georgia Southern wind beats Ula Ullum, Louisiana, I'm on roll by two.
I just like saying it like that LSU squeaks one out at home in Death Valley against unranked
Mississippi State 23 to 20 A&M number 10 29 16 over Auburn SMU beats Liberty.
That's where my niece goes by the way.
I was going to try to get her for down here for the game and we're like, no, we just
want to do something.
It doesn't even go last weekend.
By the way, can we send a quick shout out, speaking of which, to her friend Darian,
who she brings, who brought with her to Knight of Joy last year, brought a great kid.
They go to school together.
He's been in Denver at a conference for broadcasters because he does a lot of the, does he do some
of the student broadcasting at Liberty?
Right.
Twenty people in the entire country, he's picked first kid from Liberty to go to this thing.
Nice.
And his mentor at this thing works for MSNBC.
Oh geez.
So, and he's running for student council there at Liberty.
Good luck.
So, Darian, you get your shout out today, my friend.
And army beating up on U-Tep.
Sixty-six to fourteen.
That's U-Tep.
Yeah, but still.
I think it's about time we had a mercy role in college football, that's all I'm saying.
I'm inclined to agree with you.
I mean, some of these scores, you're just like, I feel like if I look up, like Louisville
just scored again.
Like, in that game, like Florida State couldn't hold him.
Florida did win.
Florida almost, almost covered the spread, but it was going to get close as they hosted
in North Texas where I was last night.
That spread was thirty-six points, and it was thirty-one nothing.
Oh, so which one would be harder to watch that one under Clemson game?
See, here's my thing.
I got a brand new Florida jersey wasn't done in Orlando.
Black jersey got the number one on it with like that digitized camo.
Big Florida gator low, it's like, I can't wear this Saturday night.
How'd you bad form?
Cause I'm better than that, sir.
Let's go to the NFL, which, whoo, big week for the NFL is to go through week two.
Did you see the interview with Antonio Brown?
No.
Antonio Brown gets fined last week for torquing in the end zone.
Oh, God.
And they asked him how much the fine was, he said, not too much, we're a boss.
So, see, we need more of this.
We need more of this in the league because that's funny.
I don't care who you are.
Your Dallas Cowboys squeak one out today hosting the, are they're at the Washington football
club today, 27 to 23.
Indeed, I'm not going to debate it.
Let's see, tonight, Green Bay will be at Minnesota.
And the, officially in the Bears tomorrow night, you got that going for you, which is nice.
Yes, I agree.
Green Bay.
Let's do it.
Langford.
Let's do it.
This is Charlottes talking about her fantasy team.
Earlier today, the Jets over Buffalo in a fight in the AFC East 37 to 31, Baltimore.
The new Raven, the new Browns, play the old Browns 25 to 20 Tennessee over Detroit
by a point.
My dolphins, things got weird in that second half because you got to remember, one point
it was 31, nothing new England.
Really?
Mm-hmm.
Then we put a little shot on that quarterback.
Oh, did you?
Oh, yeah, then he's out of game.
There might be a color bone problem.
They're third stringers playing right now.
Yikes.
Then Miami Rattles off 24 unanswered.
31, 24 is your final.
Come on.
Oh, my God.
We might pull this out.
Oh, never mind.
The Giants over the Saints by a field goal, Pittsburgh over Cincinnati by eight.
In a game that sucks to have the over, the LA Rams win their home opener against Seattle
in a battle of field goals as the Rams win nine to three.
I had to double check and make sure that wasn't a baseball score.
Nine to three.
That's your final.
Wow.
It loses to Houston 19 to 12.
That's right.
And in today's sucks to have the under game, Carolina over San Francisco in an offensive
shootout, 46 to 27.
That's an NFL score, sir.
Arizona just destroys my bucket years, 40 to seven, then Charlotte had Denver's defense,
but you didn't get the shut out.
I do not have Denver's defense.
Now you had Arizona's defense.
Yes, you said Denver.
Of Denver's the next game I was looking at as they beat Indianapolis by two touchdowns,
Atlanta over Oakland by a touchdown and San Diego.
Boy Jacksonville comes out last week and just looks stellar and then they went, oh wait a minute,
it's San Diego in week two, so we're going to lose 38 to 14.
They realized who they were.
But see, Steven and I were talking about this in pre show.
Let's not get all excited about San Diego because we do this every year.
San Diego comes out light in the world on fire and then they melt it down by the end
of October.
So it's just not, it's not crown him yet.
God rest your soul, Denny Green.
It's not put the crown on him just yet.
All right, so let's talk next week, if I can get my computer to behave itself, that
would be phenomenal.
Next week, oh, what's too far?
Dr. Dallas Cowboys, sir, we'll be hosting the bears.
Your Thursday night game this week, Houston is at New England.
So Charlotte will be parked in front of her television, watching her leader.
That's right.
Arizona will be at Buffalo, Denver, at Cincinnati, Cleveland will be at Miami.
Somebody's going to get their first win of the season.
That's exciting.
Well, remember in the NFL, you can't have a tie, but I think, I think Miami might
have a little bit of momentum behind them.
They're all in two.
I'm just saying because they, they did pretty well this game.
Don't let the scoreboard.
No, they did well in this game because we took out their second three quarterback if
we played against the third.
I'm just saying, yeah, I'm trying to give you a little bit of hope now, sir.
I have to be a realist with this team when you, when you're a Miami Dolphin, you have
to accept mediocrity.
Okay.
Just what we do.
I'm really honest with you for the rest of the season.
Oh, I ask.
No more Willie Wonka.
Don't sugarcoated.
Oakland goes to Tennessee, Detroit will be at Green Bay, Washington will be at New York
and a battle on the NFC East Carolina will be hosting Minnesota, Jacksonville hosting
Baltimore, the Chargers hosting the Colts Los Angeles at Tampa Bay.
It's bad enough that you made LA open on the road.
You know, as they're also losing a home game to go to London too.
Oh, man, you believe that's a dirty hand to get dead.
It is, especially your first year back in LA, San Francisco will be at Seattle.
Big road trip there.
The Jets will be at the Chiefs Pittsburgh at Philly.
That might be a game, sir.
And then your Monday night game next week is Atlanta at Nollins.
Drew Breeze making all that money.
Oh, let's move into a little music talk.
Boy, we got some music talk this week, sir.
We got some music talk.
You know, we don't do a lot of political stuff on the show.
But any chance we can throw some shade at Chris Brown, I'm always good with.
You see this?
What now?
He's at a charity basketball game.
He's playing in at USC.
It's a 9-11 benefit.
Sitting in your life and with his friends around the end.
Then gets in a physical altercation that has to be broken up by police.
I just went 30 seconds and the octagon with him.
At a crowbar.
Would it take that long?
Probably not.
And we just, let's just keep, let's just go ahead and release another album, Chris.
This right after your public brew, aha, they got splattered all over.
Yep.
I mean, you want to, you want to take the knee, you want to sit down.
That's fine.
Don't be chuckled it up with your buddies.
So many words I can't say on this show in my head right now.
Do you hear this Tony Basil story this week?
I saw the video clip.
You hear about this, Charlotte?
We all know who Tony Basil is.
The French dancer by the name of Babson Babasai.
He spots her at a show just throwing down hip-hop moves.
And I mean throwing down.
She's 72.
Do you realize that in, if you've got the first season of Saturday Night Live on...
I don't anymore.
I had to trade it away.
I think I've still got mine.
There is a dance segment in that thing.
Where the guy that went on to be rerun.
Fred Barry, I want to say his name was.
They were part of a dance troupe that was part of this pop-locking routine on the first season of Saturday Night Live.
She was part of that troupe.
Really was she?
Yes, she was.
And it's painfully obvious because she looks like she's doing the exact same steps in this video.
She's 72.
And does it look like...
Bring it.
Like she's 22.
I was stunned.
Lady Gaga currently in talks for your Super Bowl Lee halftime show?
Super Bowl Lee.
Because they're going back to Roman numerals.
So it is now Super Bowl Lee.
Lisa's not Celine Dion.
Don't you dare so I'm a Super Bowl halftime show.
I'll even put that out there to the universe.
It's already been put out there.
It has not been brought in.
So I'm okay.
By the way, Russ actually asked a question in the chatroom.
I don't know if you've checked it.
Your Garth Brooks has his own XM channel.
Yes, I did do that.
And Russ introduced me to that this week.
Pretty good stuff.
Let's see.
New album from Kings of Leon.
Coming October 1st teens.
Oh, October 14th.
It's going to be called Walls.
How long has that been?
It's been a minute.
I've heard the new single.
I like it.
The video is just weird.
You can say that about a lot of it.
No, this video is really weird.
What?
But I like the song a lot.
The new song is called Waste a Moment.
It's really necessary to still be weird in your videos,
considering we hardly ever see them anymore.
Vivo's the thing, dude.
They got their own app.
And it's huge.
So the demand is out there.
But no, we want to do MTV Classic.
It's just the stuff in the 90s.
Go pound sand.
It's not classic.
And technically, yes.
But really, no.
I spent quite a bit of time watching MTV Live last night.
How that worked out for you.
Two Adele shows back to back.
Do anything for you.
That's my girl.
Yeah.
Not really.
Well, he and I are pretty big fans.
You're not a fan of the Adele?
I don't get it.
I don't get it.
Like, rolling in the deep was good,
and that's where I stopped.
We got a little bit in there.
I'll give you that.
Cory Feldman, tell me you saw this.
Tell me you saw this.
I had dominations.
I saw it, but I didn't hear it.
I had it on mute.
Cory Feldman debuts his new song Go For.
I haven't got the audio.
I just got the video.
Yeah.
Same here.
Go For It.
And he debuts it on the Today Show.
A girl I went to high school with.
I wish I had the exact wording.
But it was...
Oh, okay.
I got it now.
She said, I've had four kids and kidney stones
that were less painful than watching this performance.
Wow.
It was a hot moment.
Your buddy says the Emmys have started.
And the what's happening episode was called The Lockers.
I love it when the chat room helps us out.
This...
This...
This...
Like...
Like, I got maybe 45 seconds into this.
Even without the audio.
I'm just like, what is this?
What is this that has invaded my brain?
What is going on here?
This is a...
Oh, I can't remember who's commercial.
This is...
The tech mobile thing with Bo Jackson.
Bo Jackson!
I love it already.
That's a key of commercial.
And I'm sure that's a throw back to the family guy episode.
Oh, you...
I love that.
Bo Jackson!
Oh, he's got the key.
He's got the key of the game!
Swing!
Oh, that is brilliant.
This...
This has now...
Even without the audio, it's become my new favorite commercial.
That...
Right behind the doctors.
Oh.
This is another one of my favorite...
Is this...
Playing Marco Polo with Marco Polo?
I'm a heatier!
Are these his...
He's embarrassed for the today's show for showing it. I mean this thing like
You got to think there's like 20 producers in that control room going did nobody vet this
Well, we saw him dance and dream a little dream. Maybe we'll just get that
That was 25 years ago. The problem is yeah, you got that but it was an incoherent version of it
It's a yeah, we know the guy's been obsessed with Michael Jackson his whole life
But I think he's taking a couple of bullets to the brain pan since then this is like that
Mashed up with Charlie sheen isms
And is he starting to look like Charlie sheen or is it just me he's starting to look like a
DNA cross between Michael Jackson and Charlie she exactly that's not okay, and that's not a good thing
I love you Mike, but hmm. So October 3rd. Do you have the date circled on your calendar? No, I got four days later circled on my calendar
Really you haven't heard this
What have I not heard
Excel energy center st. Paul the official tribute concert is on you haven't heard this the third
I thought I was over third. I thought it was the 12. I read it today
Rd could you take us go on sale tomorrow because I know that the because from what I gathered
Stevie Wonder Christina Aguilera shock a con John Mayer Tory Kelly Morris Day in the time a need a baker ducky fresh
Bilal mint condition Judith Hill live war field and the house band will be Morris Hayes with third eye girl right
From what I was gathering the Paisley Park itself is going to open for the tours on the sixth and
This was supposed to happen on the 13th the week later. I said the 12 the article I read today said the third
Huh, I thought it was on a mistake unless there was a typo on the article I read
But it said the third because the tickets are going on sale tomorrow. Okay, well at 11 a.m. Eastern
There was doubts that the show itself was even going to take place because organizers couldn't get their stuff together
Like it was a question of his it's it was on it was off. It was on it was off
But the question I have are they gonna stream it? Well, they record this because they never I thought we'd get a release of the of the Michael Jackson thing
We never did yeah, are we going to get a stream of this are they going to release this as a DVD I
Would I would hope there would be some sort of a live broadcast, but with the Michael Jackson thing
It was the actual funeral service because his his presence was actually there this. I don't know
I it would probably have to be something that would have to be hashed or hashed out by a
Music or cable network
But then you've got all these other rights getting involved. So I don't know the heck of a lineup, sir
It really is there are some there are some acts there that I kind of question. I'm like what are they doing there?
Aguilar, but
There are some that I'm good. I'm good. I'm very happy to see. I know that you will be very happy with that. Yeah, I'll be very happy with that
Go ahead just keep on
You open that door, but speaking of
Charlotte is not caught up on Jeopardy I assume no you hear about Jeopardy on Friday. I saw 40 episodes
Do you have it recorded or have you already read it? So you did watch it? I watched it today
That's how I knew about I saw a screen grab of the of the category the well the category board the opening round of Jeopardy
The categories were 1999 little red Corvette sign of the times bat dance you in quotation marks
Got the look and then my name is Prince and the last one was actually about him I lost my mind
I thought I was being and
Paisley Park stumps the something contestants what the name of Paisley Park stumps the contestants
Yeah, not everybody's a fan. Yeah, but still it's one thing. It's just pretty well known especially this year
It's known by us. Let me say this year that name's been out there a lot
Yeah
Music new releases in places you get music new releases this week and
I know I'm the only one in this studio that even gives a rats took us about this first one
But chapter in verse from Bruce Springsteen releases this week
She and I are in the same boat. I could can't stand him that was funny
Dwight Yoko releases swimming pools movie stars
Idina Menzel releases
Dina with a period like Janet
Probably not the same album curious what the album covers like of course right after her listing would be the new album called the art of elegance from
Kristen Chenoweth. So both halves of wicked there you go together
Sean Mendez
This kids play on the American Airlines Center. Am I this far out of touch?
I'm not even sure who he is. He's actually pretty good
I know I want to say he has a song is he's the one that we were listening to one of his songs and in the course
It sounds like he's saying eating a burrito
Saying something else that I gotta find that I don't remember I had to find that out from Sarah and Richard
And his new arms called illuminate, but he's playing the American Airlines Center
so you got that going for you and
Vengellis is back. Oh my God with Rosetta
Good Lord. I can't believe that
That hit making machine is still around
Always have a preference to a played runner soundtrack. All right, so let's do some quick in memoriams
For this week. Look at Cam Newton. Oh, he's gone
He looked like he was on a shrimp boat
All right, you're on fire today show first in memoriam this week Eddie and Tardz. This name mean anything to you
Probably should I've been all over the old dead club the past couple of days
There's been very unsettling
Well, this entire calendar year has been very unsettling if you are from the east coast or have spent any time
Okay, yes, I got it now Eddie and Tard was an electronic salesman in New York. He was known as
Crazy Eddie because his prices were insane not the same guy by the way, right? There's two different
Yeah, the pitch man was not crazy Eddie himself
Mm-hmm
Did really well for a while and didn't
But this was a guy that created the crazy Eddie phenomenon
There were two living on the east coast and you because you would get the W.O. R the Super Station from New York
And that's where you saw the commercials right there were two commercials
But you always look forward to because they were so wheels off his Christmas commercial one would always be crazy Eddie anything
He does the other was Carvelle. Yes
Because for some reason I guess they let the guy that ran the company do the commercials
Come into Carvelle this way you get a fudge eat a whale
Father's days coming up, which was the same cake
It just wasn't painted like a whale. It was a tie get your father's day ice cream cake now
So I've served on sale every day come to Carvelle if you're a fan of Robert Klein. He does a class
Yes, he does about Carvelle
You do people just buy stuff from Tom Carvelle because I think he's
But those were the two that I always connected with W.O.R
And crazy Eddie was always like surrounded by stuff like old TV
It was like he was in a storeroom and it's probably one of those you could take a snapshot of one of his
Commercials and go all of this is in your phone now
Like you see those was like that radio shack add and it's like everything in this picture. Yeah, it's in your phone
I found a blooper reel of his the other day after this guy to nails and just cracked up
You can say microwave oven to save his life. He kept calling you to the oven
Always a big fan of the crazy Eddie stuff
Just said it was a really bad ending and I really don't want to talk about the legal problem. Yeah, yeah, game later
Also passing away this week at the age of 47
That's what I'm gonna be turning in a couple of weeks Alexis Arquette. Yeah
formerly Robert Arquette
Born in Los Angeles part of of course the big Arquette family
Very tortured soul from the things I've read right and there's a lot of really great
Well a great tribute out there this week something I did not know
Do you know what when before
the transition
What Roberts first acting gig was
Well the main thing that most people would know him from is I'm where I'm assuming you're going from with this
was being the backup singer in
And Adam Sandler's wedding singer band. No, he was the night the boy George look alike 1982
He was the kid in
The video for she's a beauty by the two stop it seriously. That's what it says here
Wow, he's one of the car on the right media of the wiki. Wow, not gonna go back and find that
debuted in down and out in Beverly Hills
We play there
Max Whiteman the bandmate
The bandmate
He was the he was the undrogynous friend of the bandmate and down at Beverly Hills. Could that be what you were thinking of
No, no, he he was the
Remember whenever
Adam Sandler's character went outside. Oh, there it is 1998 the wedding singer. Yeah, he kept singing
What do you want to hear me? They and the crowd turned on him was man number four in Pulp Fiction
So he was in that film what he was the vampire DJ and buffy the vampire slayer
Yeah, I've only seen that. No, are we talking the TV show or the movie. No, the movie was on the surreal life
It was also a celebrity judge on bravo's top design also made a cameo appearance in Robbie Williams. She's Madonna
video
Past away last Sunday
Unknown causes at this point. I said he was surrounded by family while Bowie played in the background
Then we had I saw this next one yesterday, and I don't know if you saw this one or not
C Martin Croaker. Yes
Sunny straight
former classmate of my sisters in a
Renowned voiceover artist and our own Devon Pike. I believe commented on it. Yeah, that's where I saw it Devon commented on this was this was tough
That passed away at the age of 54 this week. I saw this while you were attending Kevin, and I was not about to send that to you
Some might know him from aqua teen hunger forces. Dr. Weird or Steve
For me, there's only one thing right there with you, bro, and we've referenced it on this show many times
Oh, your buddy Rd says Eddie Murphy does a car velvet on his first album. I've forgotten about that. Oh, that's right
We've references on the show and the fact that I was seeing Kevin Smith last night
That's why I was adding an extra level of irony to it because he was both
Maltar and Zorak on space ghost coast to coast
And we've referenced the Kevin Smith interviewer's Kevin Zorak
If you've never watched space ghost coast to coast
It is a piece of brilliance that will never be duplicated
Starla, have you ever seen the show? No, okay. Do you know whose space ghost is?
He was a cartoon character would you say late 70s early 80s? Yeah, he he had an invisible jet
And he wore a mask and he had these like wrist bands that fired lasers. He was very
He was very Batman-esque or at least he wanted to be Batman-esque
So in the early days of cartoon network
They created a show called space ghost coast to coast where it's space ghost and
It's and it's like they just took cells from the animated series and interjected it
So it made him into a late-night talk show host because you could tell that animation was kind of looping
It's very they didn't use a lot of and his enemies Zorak and Maltar Zorak was like his studio announcer and Maltar was like the producer
and
He would have real guests like actual celebrities would be on like a screen
And he would yeah, and he would talk like a regular talk show in his 19 kinds of brilliant
Like I want to say if you had the video cassette of
Matt of the mask
His segment where he interviewed Jim Carey is an extra on the video day on the VHS copy of the mask
It is it is so funny and everybody pretty much like space ghost is actually in character
Like he's still space was like would you like to see my wrist laser?
Look it's he's such an idiot. Oh, it's so brilliant and
Tying it into something else of something that we all have in common we go to the go-bos
Where Matt one of Matt's guitars has space ghosts on the body and Zorak is on the head of the guitar. Oh God
I forgot about that so
That's really become a check. He also did Maltar and Swayzak for two Nami
Swayzak but to meet Zorak is so that Zorak is just that's just that's just quintessential care
Absolute brilliance and then our last one this week passing away at the age of 60
Kim McGuire does this mean anything to you sir?
You'll have to refresh my memory
We are going to go to the world of John Waters. Oh
Yeah, a hatchet face. Yeah, she played hatchet face in crybaby very
kind of one of those
actresses that you may not have known much about but in
In that in that community like divine. Yeah, like divine like she was huge and even though like again
Ran under the radar, but she was in a lot of stuff
At one point she was actually
Attached to play Annie Wilkes in misery before Kathy Bates. Wow. God can you imagine how different that film wouldn't then?
Just did some both she was in serial mom in 1994. She did an appearance in dream on in 1990
Had a had a very short-lived deal on David Lynch's off the on the air. I'm sorry
That was canceled after three episodes
She passes away this week of
complications from pneumonia
kind of hate to hear and stuff like that so all four of these people sorely missed and
We always like to make sure that we recognize in this segment
as we will move on and
And
Talk a little major league baseball. You want to hit you want to drop that on him really quick?
What sure I was showing me I can't read that
Give me the name. I can't read it. Is it Charmaine? Yes, Charmaine car from sound of music. Yes passes away
Good mercy. The ages 73. Let me get out of this year's place. She played Lysol. Is that what it?
Do we get out of this year?
So much dark. How did how did dev refer to it in his hashtag 2016 celebrity apocalypse or something like that?
All right, let's get to major league baseball in
The ALE's reading your right to your standings the Tampa Bay rays
We have now played a
149 games, which means we have 13 games left in the season. I'm gonna do my math correctly, Charlotte
Charlotte is now nodding on an audio podcast you a calculator, but I don't do math
You know this you know this is a teacher
They're
13 games out. They're 20 and a half back. So they are
They are 13 and a half games behind the Yankees the Yankees are seven back
They're three and a half back on Toronto Toronto's a game back on Baltimore and Charlotte was Boston Red Sox
leading the division right now
We always lead the division we just crap our pants in the
Ha ha ha ha ha same with the reader. So we're always leading the division. I can't argue with that
But you know what that that divisions a lot
More snug than the the AL West right now because that's only two and a half games out in the AL Central the Minnesota twins are 55 and 95
They're 31 and a half back. They are out of
They are 17 and a half games behind the white socks the white socks are four back on Kansas City
Is Kansas City just at a free fall? Yeah, I mean great. They've won two in a row, but they're in a free fall right now
They are three games back on Detroit Cleveland now with a seven game lead in that division. So your magic number sits at seven
In the AL West
22 and a half back they are three and seven in their last 10
But they are out of it
law
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Los Angeles County, America California, America, North America, Earth, Milky Way
They are a game back on Oakland Oakland is now 12 and at 12 games back on
Houston Houston is a game back on Seattle by the way your Texas Rangers sir
They've lost two in a row, but they're still eight and a half up in the division. We still don't change the channel though
You never changed the channel. I know, but somebody wanted me to and I said no
And what solid object you choose to throw it their head. I didn't I got a freak shot out of it
That's my girl that's how I roll in the AL West. I'm sorry the NLS my apologies
San Diego 62 and 87 they're 22 and a half back so they
They're two and a half back on Arizona Arizona's now eight back on Colorado Colorado seven back on San Francisco and
Misty's Dodgers have a five and a half game lead in that division
NL Central since an adda they're 31 games back so they're done
They are six and a half back on middle walk K middle walk K six and a half back on Don's Pittsburgh pirates
The pirates are four back on St. Louis by the way the Cubs clinched this week because they're now
16 games up in the division so they what they lost, but they clinched in the same night
Okay, so you got that going for you which is how baseball works
That's what baseball do. So then there's this team in Atlanta
Couldn't win their way out of them. You shut your dirty mouth. Is she wrong? I can say that. Oh, okay. They're my team. It's that way now
They're only 30 back with 13 to go. You're right. There's still hope
In a parallel universe maybe they are eight and a half games back on Philly. They're already back next year
She's right. I can't I can't debate this
It sucks. I get it. I was a ranger fan in the 90s. Okay, we were terrible Philly is now seven and a half back on Miami
Miami six back on the Metz the Metz now eight back on the Nat nos
We're gonna skip the wild car. We're just gonna go straight to America's favorite game show
What is the one differential for the Atlanta Braves now? Let me say this
Jordan Sparks. I thought seeing the national anthem
Atlanta doesn't have the worst run differential in Lee Philly's worse than them
But not by much. Okay. Okay, so Chad
What is the run differential and you want to play along in the chat room?
Just post your numbers up. You've got about 15 seconds to do it Chad
What is the run differential for the Atlanta Braves?
Negative 145
Charlotte Wow
I was gonna say like 122. Are you going with? Yeah, all right
And I will talk to do this next bit slowly as everybody can get their picks in the Atlanta Braves are
58 and 91
That is a what that is a win percentage of 389
26 and 49 at home
We're six games better on the road. We're 32 and 42 on the road. We've won two in a row
We're four and six in our last 10 Russ says minus 105 closest without going over
Is Chad Womack
The run differential for the Atlanta Braves right now is a minus 151
I almost said 162. I was trying to be hopeful Philly is three worse
Why she she must be crushing this
Philly is three worse
Okay, where's she have that going for you?
Let's move on talk about wrestling shall we?
So I don't know if you heard this Vince McMahon has surgery this week. Yeah, I don't know
I don't know what it was they know he tore a quad while working out. That man is a beast has surgery
He's back in the office wins
Well, don't you remember he got blown up in a limo that is true
And remember he had the big trussle fall on him. Yeah, well remember he actually had a legit
Well, I can't remember what the occasion was he was doing his stomping down to the ring and he actually blew out his knee
That wouldn't surprise me and he like like like like the I want to say is whenever he had like
Briscoe and Patterson around him and they kind of get and he couldn't stand up
I mean literally he like tore his leg up on his way into the like as he was going into the he caught his knee on the ring apron
Is this Minnesota's home opener?
Well, the new stadium. Yes, it is nice
Look at the side. They got a that is awesome
They've got a big viking horn out there that they're that they're that their old coach is actually talking through
That's pretty sweet. I almost bought a drinking horn yesterday at October fest almost
This is a game. I have got a vested interest in because there's supposed to be prince involvement during the halftime show
Me too, so they got Jordy Nelson playing
On the other side of the ball
Moving on
So last last week and this week last Thursday or two Thursdays ago in this past Tuesday
Was a two-part interview on the Steve Austin show with Missy Hyatt
Two things I didn't know about Missy Hyatt I learned one
She officially retired from any form of the business at WrestleMania. She doesn't even do trade shows anymore
Wow, okay, you know what she does do now though. She a teacher. No. She is a civil war reenact her
She's my hero that's a career path apparently because that's people do that professionally
You could how do you make money doing that?
I don't know, but she does it I
Mean I know that there are cosplayers in her contest and what she does now. How do you make I texted barbler?
I was like missy Hyatt civil war reenacted didn't see that coming. He's like, yeah, I know
That I can't this past week Ross ratings were the lowest non-holiday show in 20 years
2.69 million viewers and a 1.88 share which is about a month's worth of impact so you've got that going
Page allegedly returning this week really she in her state. She actually gets finally talked about the suspension
Her statement was she didn't fail a drug test. What had happened was oh, you're already lying
The the person that they caught the company they contract with to do the drug tests
Came to her house and she wasn't home
So when she found that out she got a macar drove 200 miles to the closest facility
But by the time she took the test and submitted it she did not meet the deadline. Oh, please
She also now has Alberto Del Rio's first name tattooed on her great wasn't she pregnant like what happened there?
Apparently that was not it was not a thing because by now we would they would have been something visible. I'm just saying
Next weekend clash of champions. We just did praper you last week. We're gonna do another one next week
Guess who's gonna be an Indianapolis where clash of champions is being held
Goldberg you are correct
He's on the cover of the new well. I don't know if he's on the cover
He's heavily involved because they're promoting a snot out of him with him. It's okay. Yeah
It was I can't just tell you how great it was being at a local establishment yesterday and seeing two K 16 for like 30 bucks on the shelf and going
I downloaded it for free
That isn't that games with gold thing is a pretty brilliant. So
Medusa as we know she's been doing monster truck competition. Right. She has retired
She said she's accomplished where she wanted to accomplish in the sport and
She's very happy with what she did and she's very proud of what she's accomplished. So God God bless you
Now she's gonna go do civil war reenactment
Show the park it ladies and gentlemen. This is why she has to be on the show more than she is. You're really sure
Or with a name like Medusa maybe she'll do like you know the battle of the maplier
There she is ladies and gentlemen
The finals of the cruiserweight classic happened one by TJ Perkins who you might remember from TNA as manic
Guess what he's not anymore. I don't remember him as mad. It's too bad that you didn't keep the name because they'll be on raw tomorrow night and then it will be a
Where you man it
Two in it today skip shot yourself for that sir. I will file that I promise you I will file
Rock me although not not the best what they're calling dad jokes anymore because I know my my favorite one lately
You know I chicken coops only have two doors
Charlie I've got nothing because if they had four doors it'd be a chicken sedan
Second place this week save me you know you know you know why teenage girls only travel on odd numbers. You're still doing this
In groups of odd numbers because they can't even yeah
I love that joke take that sword right there before I tell you to robber him with it all right
So we have the list because you mean we know the cruiserweights are coming to raw tomorrow night that is happening
Here's your list of cruiserweights that will be on raw tomorrow night. You'll have TJ Perkins who won the brand new cruiserweight belt
It's purple so you got that going for you
Purple and silver looks like it should be on Smackdown
So you'll have TJ Perkins. That'll be a rich swan
There will be Cedric Alexander formerly of ROH. Can you kept the name a
Lince Dorado makes me want to have chips. I don't know why
Grand metallic who's the guy that lost to TJ Perkins in the final of the cruiserweight? Wait, wait, what?
Graham G. R. A. Graham. Graham. Graham. G. R. A. N.
Metallic and E. T. A. L. I. Case from Mexico
No, I'm door and get ready for it. Get ready for the return of the Brian Kendrick
Really? Yes, he'll be joining raw tomorrow night. So that's your list. Congratulations to NXT tag team
Fishy and Otto Johnny Gargano. He has married a young lady by the name of Candace LaRue
They got married this weekend and apparently there was a lip sync battle between the groomsman and the
Bridesmaids at the writing reception and it was a backstreet boys fast apparently from my right sweet
Put that in the eye now. Let me let me finish that and see if you're interested in this
Can I interest you at Survivor Series in a shield reunion?
Hmm, the rumors are flying right now
To set need that
I'm in I don't care. I'm in
I need the shield packed together. You know, maybe Seth does need it. I don't know so I
Know the it happens the other two don't it happens. I don't think the other two really need that to have all right
So let's talk a little bit about raw pull up. I'd actually have the iPad in the room today
Nothing
So in the opening segment to
It's a women's division thing Sasha Banks says to Bailey we go way back all the way back to NXT. Does that sound weird to anybody?
Yeah, does I love her. I love her. I'm a huge I'm a huge fan of both of them
But that was just a weird statement to me all and you know who the Sasha Banks is cousin is Snoopy dog dog or snoop lion
I'm sorry. I just snoop dog again. I was easy. I just call him a snoopy dog dog. It was just snoop lion for that one project
Okay, do you remember Jonathan Katz the show they had in Comedy Central was an animated series? He was a therapist?
Yes, that's where that's where that comes from because he was trying to identify with his kid and he had an acoustic guitar
He's like, so who do you like the snoopy dog dog? He's like a snoop dog. He doesn't whatever
Thank you for clarifying that because I've been wondering where that came from so you have the three-way dance for
the number one contendership
For the women's title
One by Sasha Banks, right? Here's the problem go back and watch that again
Technically Dana Brooks won that match because when Sasha pin Bayley both of their shoulders were on the mat
So I'm wondering and if that happens tomorrow night somebody's listening to the show
Just saying and right. I'm totally sold on Jericho right now
This is the best work he's done in a decade. I know you love I know you love heel Jericho
I know normally like heel jerk. I like this heel Jericho
Especially with a bit with him in Kevin Owens who can't get the the the interviewer guy Tom's name right like they called him
Fully Bay last
Just keep making up names for him and the look of I haven't seen a look of defeat on an interviewer this deep since the coach and the rock
Go suck on a monkey's not for your mother and just when you thought the new day had run out of comedy
Did you watch for all this past week? No, they came out
Could you know how to bring in the booties out and they're throwing the booties to the crowd right? No, no, no
We don't took it a step further
Biggie and Kofi both came out with wrestling boots full of booty
I'm like I'm passing on that is there no limit to the genius with it
I'll pass on I wonder like what these guys think when they come to them each week and say we want you to do this so they like
Well, they're entrance at WrestleMania
Nobody knew the outfits nobody knew they did that on their own
They said Vince found out when they were at the gorilla position and they just looked at Vince and Vince looked at them
And you know he didn't know what the bit was, but he just gave him a thumbs up and just started laughing
Because at this point you just let them do whatever they want you kind of have to well
I'm wondering are they coming up with the ideas or is creative coming up with the ideas?
They've got to play a role because if you look at somebody like Xavier Woods and
Look at the amount of personality that Biggie's been allowed to have yeah
They've got to play a role
Because I mean at this point are you pretty much confirming what we've all felt anyway?
Creative doesn't have anything lived in the tank two weeks ago
They're cut in a promo and they said who's responsible and the cross already going who who and Biggie goes, okay?
Let's just do that again
It's the only thing that really has
Just let them run wild because it's just it's brilliance on a level that nobody else is doing right now
Consistently it is the one thing that just always has a healthy head of steam behind it and the crowd loves it
Oh, yeah, it's so over right now. It's ridiculous this as long as Vince doesn't try to break it up
Well, this this was the over that Vince thought they were gonna be in the original version of the gimmick
He really thought that was gonna be over as as faces because they keep they keep giving these subtle little hints like Xavier
Maybe's losing it or or Kofi. Maybe I was like don't don't don't do that. Don't do this again
Don't get a great thing going and then you just can't help but completely screw with it
TNA news Billy Corgan is trying to become the sole owner of TNA apparently Dixie still has 70%
But when the New York Times reported that the company was worth 40 million
She wants four million for her share so if 70% of the company is worth four million
I'm not the greatest mathematician in the world. And again, Charlotte isn't teach math don't teach math
I did this summer and the grades were bad
We're not talking about that anymore
And apparently the feeling is that the deal needs to go through so they can afford bound for glory
Are you kidding me? That's what I read this way. Yeah, it's disappointing
I see because the cost for bound for glory alone is between 600 and 800,000 and they're doing it in Orlando
Wow
Things have gotten that bad and allegedly
WWE and Sinclair broadcasting have both put in bids to buy the company and do we remember who Sinclair broadcasting is?
No, that's the company that runs ROH
And ROH
Consistently putting out a good product. I would rather see RO I'd rather see Sinclair get it than WWE because all Vince would do would be cherry pick that talent shut down
The organization and buy the library, but you know what?
You know what? That's a good thing
You would get the best possible box sets for people like sting an angle
True AJ, but I'm some of a joke. I'm think Bobby Rue. You got to think bigger picture of the big fanries
I agree with you there, but at least if Sinclair comes in and buys them people can keep working
Because Vancing on the keep out well, but the problem you have is some of those people have burned the bridge with ROH too
Have they?
And new Japan in some cases. Well, but I'm just saying that if you know Vince is just going to shut it down entirely
Because new Japan right now
wants to buy red and wants to sign red dragon from ROH
Which is Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly. That's a heck of a team even though
Bobby Fish is working heel right now because he's your television champion
Those are both two great wrestlers. Yeah, that's very easily fixed
uh
Bold Dempsey a former NXT guy has actually debuted in ROH so they've got that going form
and
Rebel if you remember her former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader she has left TNA, but guess who has signed with TNA
Brandy Rhodes
What Cody Cody's wife as a wrestler
She was a ring announcer. She was a wrestler though in NXT. She was. Oh, I missed that part. She was
So let's get to your point standing updates because last week was a
Thing
Apollo Cruz versus Baron Corbin was booked after recording the episode so we could not predict that
So that one was not my fault, which was kind of nice
Uh, here's your point standing updates Andrew three and three at backlash
Did pretty well. He is in fifth place with 21 points
L.A. is 10 points ahead of him L.A. ran the table
Your backlash six and oh wow
You're in third with 33 points. You went four and two at backlash. I am in second place with 40. I hit 500
Don now 20 points ahead of me. He was four and two at backlash
So let's get to I think it's I haven't heard back from L.A. So I don't know what he's gonna grade it as now. I think I know
You said see see going into the pay-per-view. What are you grade now? I never watched it
I said B minus I met a D minus now judging from judging from your reaction. I'm like I'm not even gonna
The only reason this didn't get an F from me was because the women's match was that good
I was I was gonna watch the replay on the network and after talking to you. I'm like I'm not even gonna waste my time
Let's put it to you this way
Capital punishment saved this pay-per-view from a title
Your joke. It's that bad
Because you were there for that charla. Yes, you were there for that debacle
It's that it's the second worst paper you ever watched wow and it was it was two hours and 35 minutes
Two it did not hit the three-hour mark
That enough I come home to an 86 degree house
Probably felt like it's bad enough. I don't get started on that pay-per-view till about nine o'clock central
So it doesn't get done the court of the midnight and I've had three hours of sleep in 36 and just got off a plane
Which always and then you're gonna give me that yeah, are you kidding me?
Bless your soul
Because you watched the women's match and I was like okay, this is great because the women's match is the first match out the gate
That's a great match
And then everything else happened and then
We're going down
Ow
What
In other news
Ryback trying to legally change his name to Ryback
I support this
Live the bit
Well, but apparently he had the bit before ww had the bit. Okay. That's that's always the problem usually
Anyway, doesn't want to be Ryan anymore
Speaking of things that rhyme with Ryan dangle Brian
This week says the quote-unquote real specialist have cleared him
But ww is like not so fast my friend. We don't believe we don't believe it's in your best interest get back on the ring
He actually wants to get back in the ring
It's that thing man. You can't he ain't done yet
And Austin talks about it a lot of his podcast where he's just like
You just have to do these things sometimes
You have to get out of your system once it's out of your system then you're fine, but when is still in your system man
Let's see where else are we at uh he sliders new shirt love it
Front of it just says I got kids from the back. It says I need this job
Wow
And congratulations. Thank you NXT. They have brought back the
The dusty roads memorial tag team tournament will be returning to the tapings at NXT this week good
So very excited about that some smackdown notes. I really hope
That this Kurt Hawkins thing works
because that vignette
Made me laugh a lot harder than it was supposed to probably
I'm Kurt Hawkins and it's time to face the facts
Cuz you know they're turning him into Chuck Norris, right? No, yeah, that's what they're doing
Huh?
Jesus why?
Cuz he's Chuck Norris
I'm just saying but he's not jack swagger has switched brands. He's on the smackdown now
I don't know why he just he just sends the fit better on the smackdown roster. I don't know what it is
I
Guess he's just not
Big name big time. I remember it's always fun to hear Hannah say his name
Especially after she's had a root canal
I wish I still had that video and we're about five weeks away, sir
From the arrival of the child
Good night that fast. Yeah, yeah, it's coming up
Uh, I
Was gonna say because I told you she texted me the other night
I had bought the baby a whole bunch of books when I was at the George Bush Library
And she texted me and she goes did you know this was in the book and I was she sent a picture and it's a
Like a postcard and it has George and Laura Bush on it and I was like oh my god
I didn't pay for that I stole from the George Bush Library and I told her no
It's a bonus because somebody else put it in there. She couldn't know. I didn't know
So well, you know, you could always get her that George Bush action figure that you found
Right, I said heard that picture before I put it out on Instagram. Yeah, that's not
Unless my eyes are just wonky that weird. I got two words for evil doers
I just thought um dubious them working out because if you're not down with that
And then he dodges the shoe
During the crotch shop somebody just kicks the shoe out um, I don't really dig this becky balboa thing
I don't know why we're doing this
You know a big fan of the becky don't need to trick it up anymore
just saying and
He's later when he came out the side of his contract because you know how they're putting the little side bios on the screens now when they come out
He slater says has seven kids that he knows of oh jeez
Shilling my bit. I'm just gonna say we're running way long tonight because we're just now getting a movie talk and it's 10 to 8
So I just realized it's dark outside and it's almost 8 o'clock. This makes me happy. I know we're like six weeks from time
If the weather just drops, it'll be perfect suppose it first day of autumn comes up Thursday
So today felt like the hottest day of summer. It was incredibly oppressive. Yeah, when I got in the car
Amanda was rough last Sunday like I had I didn't want to buy a t-shirt while I was at Disney
I ended up having to buy a t-shirt because I'd sweated through my shirt when we were downtown Disney
All right, let's do some movie talk
courtesy of our friends at box office mojo

Okay, okay
Okay, fair enough bronze medal this week goes to Bridget Jones
This baby

From the did we really need this category

Blair witch 9.7 million dollars
Did you get the budget on this was?
Oh next to nothing I'm five. Yeah, I knew it was low. So like y'all million five million
So y'all who on their front pages like
Or was it maybe it was IMDb? It was like Blair witch stings up the joint. I'm like it made money
And winning the weekend for the second week in a row so
22 million dollars this weekend two weeks
70.5 million dollars on a 60 million dollar budget
I just don't have any desire to see this. I just don't I do I'd like I would like to see it
It did supply my favorite current meme though
Yes, I'm not traveling but Tom comics
Who does like him and cast away
It's been sully
Followed 13 with the fourth one
All right movie headlines
Uh
Have you heard about this Natalie Portman Jackie O'Bio pick no being directed by Pablo Lorraine Fox Searchlight has bought it
It's gonna get released December the 9th
Interesting
So a big year for the Portman
She got that other film that she directed and and
Adapted and started into
The Russo brothers say they're now considering Netflix characters for Avengers of Fin Infinity War
Didn't we already say this was happening? Yeah, I thought
You're gonna have 46 characters in this thing. You're gonna have to tip into the Netflix universe at some point
Just saying
Mr. Sinister has been confirmed as the villain for the third Wolverine film
Mr. Sinister
Already says he doesn't really care to see solid either. I get that. Hey, it's just a doing thing for me
Uh
Yeah, you don't know who Mr. Sinister is
It's a huge X-Men villain. It's what they teased at the end of X-Men Apocalypse. Oh, oh, it's uh
The terminal the terminal that's the other one that Tom thinks that you're not traveling with him uh
The Harley Quinn solo film moving forward Margo Robi will be an executive producer. I saw that I
I don't know
I mean, I want it to do well, but you don't know her as
No, I just don't know it you can give hardly a full feature film and it works like
I worry because you're going to you're going to make such a big splash with Wonder Woman
I don't want this momentum of female lead superheroes going backwards. That's what I'm worried about
She's got such a huge
Devoted fan base though
That I think you'd kind of be doing them a disservice if you don't do this
X-Men origin wolverine anybody
How big of a following the wolverine having you did that movie and how that workouts because you had a crap script
That's what I'm saying. You know, you just you get somebody that's if Wonder Woman is half as good as it looks and I have no doubt that it will be
We now finally have the precedent for a strong female lead characters in superhero movies which I've
Clamored for for years a lot of people have
Will a movie
Do you can't deny the potential for this to go backwards with a Harley Quinn film? No, but you the same thing could happen with Wonder Woman
I've got a lot of faith in that film right now. I do I do too, but a lot of people had a lot of faith in Batman v Superman
And they don't feel like that got well, they're all wrong
To do it. I'm just saying opinions differ. I love that movie and I did too
But it obviously didn't do them any favors as a studio
And I'm serving judgment, but I'm cautiously optimistic is all I'm saying
Yeah, I mean either one of those films have the potential to go in either direction
Neither make things better or make things a lot worse
Uh, the kid that played hero and big hero six Ryan Potter
has
asked if Tim Drake is put in the Batman he wants to play him
I don't know what the kid looks like, but I know that he's definitely got the voice for it. So
uh
Got some of my interest you
Little Todd McFarlane announcement that he'll be making tonight on geeking out
If you if you are a geeking out fan you there is a potential spoiler alert for tonight's episode
In three two don't say the one he said they are working on a rated R reboot of spawn okay
Because he's been he's been showing little video clips like video blogs of him showing here's the script here's where we are
Here's where we are here's where we are you doing that for months he confirms it tonight on geeking out
So I'm wondering if they have like are they announcing a director or are these
From from what I've read he's just saying it's happening
The only thing that concerns me is he talks about like there's not going to be a guy on a rubber suit
But he's going to treat the character like his version of jaws. I'm like so that mean we're not even going to see spawn
Come on that's the only thing that concerns me so
uh
Jurassic world two director J.A. Bayona confirms that it is two of a trilogy
Okay, so you got that don't one for you
So I didn't see the first I thought just about to ask you
Did you hear this turn this all this money that Turner and Universal have spent this week?
as of right now
Turner now owns the exclusive broadcast rights to all of the Star Wars films
For the bargain basement price of
$250 million
You know that's in my car
Broadcast
Which means TNT and TBS
But you know stars is still going to have cable rights because they have to deal with Disney
They're not going to get episode seven until January okay, which stars was all over last weekend
Watched it twice as it should be so you're not going to get the marathons that they do on spike anymore
It's all going to be TNT and TBS
That's that's kind of a shame
Now NBC Universal not to be outdone
paid that same amount of money for the broadcast rights to all of the Harry Potter films
That's that's really weird
Think about what they're doing at their dream theme parks
Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that that does make sense then and water brothers probably going you want to cut us a check
Okay cool with that we you know, we really don't we've got the CW that's what we got we worried about that
You know what I mean, which is always kind of throwing me and for cable we've got HBO so we're going to be okay. Yeah, it's true
Benicio del Toro in talks to star in the predator reboot
Has the predator
I just want to hear him say get to the chopper
Just one. Oh, yeah a little bit won't be the same
Get to the chopper friend out
He's gonna chase him down with an air compressor tank
All right, see where are we here
We talked about sausage party a little while ago the director of sausage party is going to direct the remake of the toxic Avenger
Oh, no
Do we need a re remake just you can reboot it couldn't you well? They've already made it into a stage musical that was playing locally a couple weeks ago
Oh, was it really yeah from what I hear it's actually quite charming, but
It's story of the details of my life are inconsequential
I don't really see a need for this but
Because that was just saying that was kind of the charm of that film is it was it's it had that indie cred and this is just
And as the 50 shades darker trailer hits this past week Jamie Dorden doesn't interview where he says
He's gonna be done with that after the third film
There's more than three books. Yes
There's she actually wrote one where it's from his standpoint like his
Yeah, because everything else has been from
I'm sorry what I'm sorry
There are I think right now there's just four she hasn't released the second or third one yet
Well, is she gonna do the whole trilogy from his point of view? Oh absolutely
Just when I thought we were out. Oh
No
No, it's not that simple
If something oh get something further. No, I'm just saying oh no, it's it's never that simple
There's money to be made. Yes
Money to be made. I still think they waited too long to do it though
I mean, well the movie sucks anyway. It's not a good movie at all the books
Eh, okay
I'll take your word for it on the movie horrible
Mm-hmm. There's no way that movie should have been art
The movie shouldn't exist because they really can't make it the way it's portrayed in the book. They cannot know it's way too graphic. They cannot
I
Mean even sure those are 50 shades corresponded doesn't follow the book at all like it cuts out
I would say more than half of the plot line. I read through them
And I'm just like this is what everyone's making such a big deal amount. Okay, it's mm-hmm
These kids today have to close in the hair
Like you can't film this and we have two new cast members for super troopers too. I'm very excited
That's all you the Emmanuel Shariki. I like her and rob
Low have joined the cast of super troopers too, which reminds me
If you watch that roast yet, I have not dear. Good. I just I just I don't know
I'd really have no desire to watch this one. I'll we'll talk off. Okay fair enough
Movie new releases in places you get movie new releases this week and the magnificent seven this week
I will go see this because we're not gonna get the screen it so I will go see
Okay, I was wondering how you felt about it. I'm excited. It looks it did not for you. My doppelganger in it
It's got more than just that. Yeah, I mean it's got a heck of a cast uh the animated storks
Which looks cute it does look cute
That'd be worth it. Uh something called the dress maker. Does this mean anything to you? Mm should it
I had to probably actually I was not prepared to talk about it. So give me just a moment
No, you just want to put me on this bottom. Yeah, I figured if you would know better than I would if
One of us might have it covered uh, this is Kate Winslet and the Liam Hemsworth
Okay, did you just drew a little bit over there? Well bad
I'm so bad a glamorous woman returns to her small town in rural Australia with her sewing machine and her hot couture style
She transforms the women in exact sweet revenge on those who did her wrong. I have seen the trailer for this
It looks like it might be kind of fun
If you're into that kind of thing
Uh, she's long and she exacts bloody revenge also this week a movie called goat have you seen this trailer
As in greatest of all time or literally it's goat. It's not about a goat, but it's
Let me tell you who I was involved in this thing Nick Jonas is in this deal
Okay, um
I've seen the trailer for this is this trailer makes me very uncomfortable
Uh, James Franco is in this. Oh, well, there you go. Here's all you need to know
Actually, I'll give you the whole thing that IMDB says reeling from a terrifying assault a 19 year old boy
Enrolls into college with his brother and pledges the same fraternity
You you I was out on the first line
At the the assault line. Yeah, I'm telling you this trailer is creepy
People are saying that this this look into pledge life at a fraternity is a little too real. Hmm
Can we do this already like wouldn't like skulls kind of like that kind of feel like we do this all the time on SVU
Yeah, I mean, this is how it feels
Yeah, I'm out on this also this week on the other side of that coin
Uh queen of Katoi. It's the new Disney film about the true story of the young lady who becomes the
uh from a very small village who
They find out she's got an affinity for chess
I saw this on Friday. Uh-huh. We will have a review forthcoming later this week
David Olyello and the uh new people who long ago are in this
When we get out there remind me to tell you something about this. It's kind of cool
So we got two star wars alone is there?
Also a movie called IT because then I think IT. I think Pierce Brosnan
um
Mike Regan has everything he could ever want a beautiful family a top-of-the-line smart house
The company he owns is on the verge of changing flight leasing forever
That is until the relationship with his closest advisor turns nasty to the point where his teenage daughter is being
Stalked and his family is under attack through every technological facet of their lives
So the house turns out to be their worst enemy, I guess
I'll see who's Anna Friel is also in this Stephanie Scott Michael Nyquist
Um, so all the names I really recognize is say no one I really know
Uh the lovers and the despot have you seen this trailer? This is a documentary
about a husband and wife acting team
Who basically get kidnapped and forced to live in North Korea
Oh, and have to figure out how to escape because they're because Kim Jong Il was a huge fan
He just wants them to keep making movies for him
This documentary I mean it looks like a great documentary. Oh, and just so you know that I the director of IT
Yeah, he's the guy that directed that last diehard film
Love the freer diehard a good day to die hard one that was in Russia the one that yeah completely fake giant Courtney
Like tropic thunder
Dirty 30
This is not the story of Charles birthday three years ago
I'm not sure what happened actually will be four years old, but you know we call that blank slate
This is basically is exactly what you think it is
Grace Helbig is in this maybe heart
Uh when the party is on it is off the hook. This is directly from my mbb
Okay, there's only a few days to turn her life around before she turns dirty 30 but with three besties and zero rules
Anything is possible. I am available for all voice over work if you just reach out contact you hadn't done it in rob it
That voice I wouldn't feel like I needed to take a shower again
You
People love me. So I'm saying they wanted to break all the rule
The free a generation startup we talked about this a couple of weeks ago
This is gonna get a wider release. This is the documentary about the kids
uh
That are dealing with being a part of the generation that just all does all these internet startup companies and how they just succeed and fail
Mm-hmm, but the free world is another one
Uh, this has the Elizabeth Moss in it who I am a huge fan of a recently released former convex becomes involved with a married man
And an abusive husband. I've seen this trailer and boy. It's not the feel good movie of the year
And then a movie I just had to put this title out there because
The title makes me happy. It's called chicken people
This why else would you want so why wouldn't you name a movie chicken people
Just I can't we're gonna I gotta spell hold on
He has pan reporting that Garoppolo is suffered a spring AC joint and he will be assessed day-to-day
That's not good for the Patriots because they've still got what two more games before uh
Before Tom Brady's back
Uh chicken people is a funny and uplifting look at the world of show chickens and the people who love them show chickens
That's a thing all the only the only way I go to see this
Is if it's narrated by Gonzo the great if it's not narrated by Gonzo him out
I'm just saying if it's if Gonzo's not involved them out
DVD and blue right new releases in places you get DVD and new blue right new releases
That's it. That's all we're talking about with chicken people
I'm letting it go start truck beyond available on DVD and blue right this week
Also the 25th anniversary edition of beauty in the beast
Yay
Say that again
Let's say one T fifth Anna let that sink you 25 years ago in november
I'm just saying I remember where I was in for a second
I remember I saw it in the theater
Let me let me next level you the 30th anniversary edition of labyrinth hits blue right in DVD this week
and
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles out of the shadows and off of NASCAR
Uh neighbors to sorority rising this week
Uh free state of Jones
Charlotte Imer a bit disappointed in that film. It's iTunes number
He didn't want to say all right all right all right. There's iTunes with 219. Okay
This is remember what we said
McConaughey 2016 making America all right all right
Live at the Greek theater Joe Bonamassa
Blu-ray and DVD this week. Yeah, Mikey was asking me so who is this Joe Bonamassa and why is brogg so big on him?
I'm like do you not know who Joe Bonamassa is?
You better you better figure it out son
How did that come up in conversation?
I guess you had posted something because he was asking me about it and I'm just like you better figure it out
It's like you don't know who the hell he is my god greatness
uh
interrogation
starring edge and Lana
Oh god this week
What a cinematic hope that's gonna be uh paylay birth of a legend
And a couple of big titles for Criterion this week
Blood simple and cat people both getting the Criterion collection treatment this week
Can't be never was that big of a nastashakinski. Oh, here's my commercial
iced tea no lemonade
delicious
Tech corner this week uh, we're probably gonna skip the list because we're already at the 213 mark. So
So
Major ps4 update coming November the 10th now that I have a ps4 owner in the room
I have a ps4
Really? I am awesome
What brought that on long story she wanted one
And she had she had to consult with the greatest brother she has in the world to make sure she got in the right direction
Because that's what I do and I bought mortal combat
I know she bought
And
I I actually played it and then I put it away because I needed to do homework
And so I have not taken it back out
Or else it will cost me to fail
It's gonna have a new interface
They will be enabling the HDR output there will be changes to the menu screens
They will be adding folders there will be the ability to transfer data from one ps4 to another over a wired LAN
They need to start making that easier because you got those two new models coming out and that both this this
Updates gonna happen the week before that new and drops for the slim and the pro
If you seen a lot of people were really ticked off that
That when they realized that the slim was not going to allow for 4k
Output and that's why they said well, that's what we got this pro version. I'm like you freaking snake oil salesman
I did get my IOS 10 upgrade this week. Mm-hmm. I got that. There's a learning curve to it
I will say I have found what could be the biggest flaw in it so far
And it's in the podcasting app oddly enough naturally it will not download my podcasts there there
I can play them, but I'm streaming all of them for instance when I went to go see queen of catoi on Friday afternoon
I got into the parking garage the angelica and it said unable to connect to the internet
I was like, but you kid me it should be downloaded
Will not download
So apple did on this is that a flaw or is that by design
Why would it be by design? I'm just asking is that is that is that what they intended it to be or it should be because I go to the screen and it says preparing to download
and it never does
Well, I noticed one of the things is I got a text message and I didn't have the number saved in my phone
And it says maybe and then the person it could possibly be really which is super creepy because like how did you know it might be that person?
Oh, it's another thing that Charlotte has as a as a downside which I had to take advantage of today
You can like a text message. Yeah
You can hold down on the text message and you can like like it or dislike it because there's a thumbs down
And you can put a ha ha next to it. Yeah, why?
Because you're the only one that sees it right only see it. No, you know she got she got
I put a thumbs up when she was coming over and she got a text that said rob liked your text
But only if you're also
Okay, it also has you can actually like Dave sent me a bat symbol that he drew on his screen and when it sent it to me
It actually drew it at the same way he drew it
You can send gifts now. Yeah, I saw that my friend Darley in a moon put that up. Uh, because you also have the digital text. Yep
So
You can do that and you can make like kisses blow
Yeah, so that is kind of cool
Just fix that podcasting at man. No kidding. It's not doing anything Sony has delayed the last guardian until December
Oh crap, I just sent like eight of them to someone
That's bad
Yeah, because it doesn't give you the chance to pull it back once you do that it just sends it
Uh, Lego Harry Potter collection coming to the ps4 remastered
How many times is the last guardian gonna get delayed? I'm just saying
Uh, I'll explain to you the history of that game wearable tech for Pokemon Go is a thing
I'll connect to your phone via bluetooth or we'll work you to in-game events for the bottom basement price right now
Out the door 35 dollars. Have you seen that force band or or is that on the sheet? No
The force band is a wearable tech that that links up to that little bb8's
Spheroid robot mm-hmm
They've got some really cool ads and we're like you can hold your hand in the position of holding a lightsaber
And it will generate the sound if you swinging a lightsaber when you've got nothing there
They'll do the same thing for a blast where it goes through Jedi training and it's got like the voices of Yoda and Obi-Wan to give you
Guidance the stuff. It's a pretty cool piece of tech. I don't know how much it's running
But it's pretty cool, but like you can literally just push your hand out like you're doing a force push and bb8 will take off
Wow
Assassin's Creed the NZO collection announced for the ps4 the Xbox one for November 15th have you heard about this? Mm-hmm
It will be Assassin's Creed 2 brotherhood and revelations all remastered and also embers and lineage which are short films
That follow the backstory and add an ending to the trilogy good
That never made any sense to me and it was left up in the air
All right, like I said, we're gonna skip the the list for the first time we've ever skipped a list
But we're already at the two hour 20 minute mark, and so we're we're asking a lot out of our our listeners
But we'll hold in this one for another day. Yeah, you you just take the list the next time. I'll take the PLN. All right
Let's do the plugs. All right
