Awesome sunshine!
Keep it going down.
hey
hey
It is 701 on the East Coast.
It is 401 on the West Coast.
It is the 7th of December in the year of our Lord, 2014.
It is season 5 episode 19, numerically, 278.
The clubhouse is live and on the air.
We appreciate you listening no matter how you do it, whether you are live on you stream,
so you can give us instant feedback in our chat room, whether you are listening on our
archive, or whether you subscribe on iTunes.
We don't care how you listen, we are just glad you are here.
My name is Rob, in any time that this cough wants to leave me, it will be a glorious day.
It has been almost 2 and 1 half weeks now, it is getting a little older than just saying it.
What I am not alone in this particular endeavor, joining me across the desk as he tends
to do is a man who apparently, one night of Christmas in the park was not enough for him.
He had to go back for more.
He is Chad, welcome to the show, sir.
All fun and games until someone spires off shots apparently.
It's our city, sir.
Yes, it is.
Also joining us in the guest chair tonight, had to call on the lefty, had to go to the
bullpen.
I realized late today that we had not booked a guest yet, so I picked up the phone and called
our guest and he said, I will be there, sir.
He is a man who goes to his many screens as he wants to, because that's how he rolls.
He is the king of bowling.
He is Andrew Belkin, welcome to the show, sir.
Thank you, great to be here.
Good to have you here.
Alright, gentlemen, this show Andrew Belkin.
Belkin does a welcome.
Yes, you did.
Well correct that now, so I am directing the next week.
The city of Mosquita, put my name in the paper, his Andrew Decker.
Is it a really?
What are you in the city of Mosquita paper for?
Uh, sixth grade champion basketball champions.
That's bowling?
That's bowling?
Mosquita bowls.
Hey, man.
God.
Let's get into some corrections, because we actually have a couple from last week to deal with
Chad as back in the chair.
It's good to have you back, sir.
Sir, be back.
We were talking about Cybersunday, the paper view that WWE had.
And I called it Cybersunday was taboo Tuesday, and then it was Cybersunday.
I got a little confused there.
And I think Don may have gotten his metaphors, screwed up a little bit, because he said
something was the best thing since sliced cheese.
And I don't know, like, I check with Chad.
That's not a metaphor I've ever heard of, but considering where he's from.
It's possible.
No, that's beef country.
Not cheese country.
It's cheese country, too.
Cheeseheads mean anything to you.
He's not from Wisconsin.
Talks about it all the time.
He's from Montana in that area.
You're on the wrong side of the country, sir.
Well, actually, he's been a lot of time in Wyoming, too.
Right.
But neither one of those is, yeah, Wisconsin.
But he's from that region.
Maybe they say that up there.
I'm not saying he's from Wisconsin.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
We'll see if he gets into the chat.
We do have one viewer live with us.
Good to see you.
We do have a live chat room.
If you are a registered user on your stream, doesn't cost you anything, be part of
our crowd.
You can give us live feedback right here in the chat room.
We love that.
Gentlemen, let's dive right in.
Do a little TV talk, because something happens this weekend.
It makes me, oh, it is, oh, don't see her.
Something happened this week.
Why do people still subscribe to dish network?
Why?
Do we get through, like, a quarter without somebody saying, called dish network now, because
you're going to lose our channel if you don't.
Is it just me?
That's a whip, too, man.
That is a good deal.
Friday night at seven Eastern, they still had not come to an agreement with CBS, so all
of your VACOM networks, if you had dish network on Friday night, go on.
Right in the middle of prime time, ridiculous.
And they were off the air until well in the prime time, almost 8 o'clock Eastern last
night.
So all of your, all of your college football that you would have watched on CBS on Saturday.
Nope.
And that would include the SEC Championship game, because that's on CBS.
Ron says, born in Wyoming, racing Montana, then Pittsburgh, and Chad, you just knocked
down my banner there, and they would say better than sliced cheeses.
So there's that.
I just never heard of it.
Me, shit.
It's just how I rolled.
I prefer sliced bread.
We talked a couple of weeks ago about how Manhattan love story had been canceled by ABC.
Well, the last seven episodes will be moving to Hulu.
Is Hulu like the Oakland Raiders of online entertainment pretty much can be crackles getting
that way too.
You can watch all the walled episodes of Jeopardy on crackle.
Yeah.
Oh, just weird.
So that's where TV shows go to die.
Don says Andrew, he is wrapping your Christmas gift currently.
Oh, really?
You've got that going for you.
I don't know.
Christmas gift.
I can't tell you what it is.
Well, that's kind of the point in it.
It's at the store somewhere.
But if you, if you need to know what happened, I was trying to speak.
I was trying to sneak it in.
I was kind of just going to let that go.
So if you're a fan of Manhattan love story and you just can't live without knowing what
happens.
Get a Hulu membership because that's how you're going to wrap it up or I'm sure they'll
release it on DVD to try to get some money out of it.
So.
Then this interesting story I read the other day, HBO is starting in January, going to be filming
a brand new prime time hour-long drama series about rock and roll in the 70s.
This going to be held by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger.
Wow, this could really be good.
Your cast will include Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannibalie, Coconut Creek Haskell
graduate, and Emmy Award winner.
Juno Temple, Andrew Dice Clay, and Max Casella.
This sounds all kinds of interesting to me.
And apparently, showtimes doing their own version, too.
I read today.
Make money while you can.
Yeah.
And Cameron Crowe's involved in the one that showtimes doing.
It's called Rotis, and so if it's anything like, you know, almost famous, I'm
in.
If it's got HBO and drama on it, is Max Casella just automatically in it?
You do know what that is, right?
Is he just their default.
Go to, guy.
That's Vinny Delpino from Doogie Houser.
Got nothing.
It was his best friend on the show.
Didn't watch Doogie.
I love Doogie Houser.
It's a great show.
So you know what?
Rock and roll in 70s.
No man.
Yeah.
So I'm going to check it out.
And very upset that tonight is the next to the last episode of The Network Ever.
What?
Really?
Yeah.
I realized this was the last season, but I didn't realize it was like a six episode
season because it debuted the week after hell in a cell.
Wait, what do you tell?
Oh, the newsroom.
I'm sorry.
I'm about to say you said the newsroom.
I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm sorry.
The newsroom.
This week, next week.
And that's it.
Wow.
And it's been really, really good again this year.
But that's the way it kind of is Aaron Sorkin Rolls, man.
He knows when to bail.
And I respect that.
But he does not believe in warming up the motorcycle and allowing anything to jump the
shark.
Well, I'm looking forward to seeing how they end this.
This thing because right now, the way they left it last week, holy, macro.
And Don says Tuesday is the final son's of anarchy.
Oh, he's been talking about that.
Yeah, months.
Which my wife, I'm sure is very upset about as well.
Oh, if you're a fan of Sean Bean on television, rejoice.
TNT has renewed his show legends for a second season.
I would, I would just wait for his death scene because he dies in everything.
Oh, he's the star.
So if so.
The show, uh, well, really doesn't mean he has to go on a game of thrones is an ensemble
show, sir.
Yeah, but he was the sport spoiler alert if you haven't started watching game of thrones.
Yeah.
But he was easily the most recognizable face on that show.
Yeah.
Yeah.
At the time.
I mean, you got to admit that freaked everybody out when it didn't happen.
Those that weren't in the nose definitely knocked him for a little bit.
There's a specific reason I was not going to talk to you about game of thrones until
you get caught up because I didn't want to ruin anything for you.
I wanted you to go and call him worked.
So in the news that will be excitable to Chad and people of his family, uh, the walking
did spin off has a couple of people in its cast now.
I saw this guy and I recognize him from something, but I just couldn't place him.
Cliff Curtis, Frank Delane and Alicia Debham Terry, that Cliff Curtis was the guy that
I looked up.
I was like, I know that guy's name.
They're also saying though, and I found this interesting and the article that I read,
it may not even take place in the same time that the walking dead takes place.
They're saying don't assume that this is anything, but a spin off from the walking dead
make no assumptions on win and where it's going to take place.
We have, we have, we haven't conditioned to never assume anything when it comes to anything
walking dead related.
Fair enough.
Apparently, apparently the last week was a big week.
A lot of people online were clamoring.
Again, I've never watched an episode, but, well, so can we just put something out there
for people, can we, can we, can we start a movement, sort of revolution, sort of grassroots
movement, of a 48 hour moratorium on Facebook spoilers?
Yes, especially whenever the spoiler got let out by the network itself.
Did it, oh, I saw something about a picture they put up.
That was a major spot.
I'm not going to give it away.
If those of you haven't seen it, what takes wrong with you.
But, um, it would be me.
Well, for those of you that are fans of the show that haven't watched it.
Well, I saw the picture.
Yeah, I didn't do anything for you.
But it was on their Facebook, it was AMC's Facebook feed that put this picture up.
They put it after the episode aired.
And hour after.
Okay.
So the West Coast hadn't even seen it.
Oh, wow.
That is unfortunate.
So they had to issue all these apologies.
We will know, wait, 48 out, you know, they should see a 48 hour moratorium.
You would think that got them into all kinds of hot water.
We're just furious.
I mean, somebody like me who's six episodes behind on Constantine, by the way, you're
at, but you're a recording count now.
Back under 70.
Got a little backup this week, because we had a lot going on this week.
But I've caught up on everything, um, Constantine and Foodfighter Sonic Highways as
all I have.
I'm caught up on Arrow now and Flash.
Good.
And, you know, let's talk about that for just a minute while this is playing.
I, this week was the crossover episode.
The crossover is Flash and the brave and the bold.
I did not understand until this week, the stark difference in script writing between those
two shows and how light-hearted the flashes in comparison.
Because when Oliver and Diggle and Felicity were on the flash, it was like the screenwriters
didn't know what to do with them, yeah, which was kind of weird.
It was just a lot of standing in the back.
Yeah.
Looking.
But I mean, I liked it.
I enjoyed it.
Yeah.
But it was just weird for me.
Yeah.
And I don't know.
I got to go back and do some research because, and I'm not spoiling anything here, but
there's an appearance by a young lady at the end of the flash.
Have we seen her before or was that, or is what she said afterwards, the main purpose
of her being in that clip?
It's the main.
It's, this is going into the episode that's airing is coming.
This week.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Mm.
Ooh.
Ooh.
No, that was really screw things up before I think it is what it is.
What do you think?
We'll see.
We'll talk about it off there.
I don't want to talk about it on air.
Yeah.
Because there's certain people who may not be, you know, a week behind, I'll roll with you.
Right.
So.
Also.
Um.
Not sure if you tuned into NBC Thursday night or not.
I tried.
When Peter Pan Live aired, my wife has it on the DVR.
She's watching it currently.
I was apparently.
I tried.
Peter Pan almost ran into the wall right in the beginning.
And I loved, as you guys know, how much I love Bob and Tom.
But apparently, I didn't realize the girl playing Peter Pan is Brian Williams' daughter.
Yeah.
They made a really deal about that whenever they chose her.
They were all over it on today's show.
And the way they put it on Bob and Tom was her autobiography will be titled.
The every door flung open.
But I'll tell you what, it was, uh, lower ratings in the sound of music did.
Really?
I just think that people probably got put off by walking his hook.
How did I get to such a thing?
And I'm a walk in fan.
And I turned it over there.
And it was right right around the part where
Tink takes Peter's medicine and it poisons her.
Right.
I'm going to be talking about that.
And I'm watching the lower left hand corner of the screen.
And we all know the story of whenever you're reading this book to your kids.
You're clapping your hands to save Tink.
What do you think they did on the screen?
I know this on the screen.
I know you do.
I told you it.
Chris was a park in the night.
And her?
No idea.
Hashtag.
Tweet to save Tink.
Yeah.
I am not making this up.
No.
Are you?
I'm dead serious.
I don't just want to be like 16 to use Twitter anyway.
You're a pretty team, too.
I'm like, really?
We're using social media to save Tink.
Wow.
Why would they want you to stop watching to pull out your phone?
I put up Twitter.
Why?
The same reason they want you to do anything on Twitter that I didn't do.
That would be a great issue.
You would think.
And Netflix has chosen their lead actress
for their Jessica Jones Marvel series.
It is Kristen Ritter.
Most recently featured in a movie called Big Eyes.
That Andrew and I got to check out last week.
You'll have to wait till Christmas day to get our review on that.
Just subscribe on iTunes.
But for those of you that don't know who Jessica Jones is.
She comes from a Marvel comic series that was called Ali.
It's not as that.
Nothing to do with the ABC series.
Jessica Jones is a retired superhero who's now become a private investigator.
And she also because she's the, on again,
off again girlfriend and then wife of Luke Cage.
So I'm kind of interested to see which directors.
It's kind of a dark comic.
So I'm kind of looking to see where they go with it.
Uh, Don says they're doing a repeat showing him.
They are still calling it Peter Pan live.
Is this Pete?
No, it's repeat.
That would be great.
Pete repeat.
Call up that.
So that's how you do things.
That's how things get done in this world.
Anything that you don't want to have for TV news.
You want to bring up.
Oh, that was, that was the thing that just stuck in my crowd was the tweeting to save
Tinkerbell.
I'm just like, no.
My DVR randomly picked up like I think three episodes end of white collar.
I just found out I'm like three episodes behind of the final season.
That was really.
That was the.
I thought huh.
Thanks a lot.
This is their final season isn't it?
Yeah.
Okay.
We're going to go right to college football right now.
Huge weekend in college football.
Off after a huge week, Brady Hoke out at Michigan.
To the surprise of absolutely no one that's ever watched college football.
He just can't win any big games anymore.
I kind of want to keep losing the Notre Dame.
You're going to.
Hey.
You're not going to have your job.
Well, much champs available.
Yeah.
And I think that would be a good fit for him.
Because again, I have no.
I harbor no ill little towards a little much champ.
I'm putting it out there.
But speaking of Florida, they do have a new head coach.
And his name is Jim McElwayne from Colorado State.
On the Mac.
This is the Mac or the meac.
Something like that.
He was 22 and 16 there.
And a lot of people, I believe he's got a pass at Florida.
So a lot of people are thinking he's good.
Also Nebraska has a replacement for Bo Polini.
His name is Mike Riley from Oregon State.
The B-Vars.
He was 93 and 80 there.
So about 500.
Yeah.
Well, they're going to score some points now.
Yeah.
So he qualifies to be a cowboy coach.
So let's get to the golden question of the day.
Today at 12 30 Eastern, the playoffs were announced.
Here are your seeds.
Number one, of course, Alabama.
Yeah.
Nobody's going to debate that.
They will take on number four.
Chad, you haven't pulled up.
You know who it is?
No.
You want to take a guess?
I know who it's not.
And it's not TCU.
They will take on Big Ten Champion Ohio State University.
And a move that has surprised a lot of people, including this guy.
Slotter.
It's going to be.
They're going to kill him.
And then number two, Oregon will take on number three Florida State.
So Florida State moves from 4 to 3.
TCU out.
Baylor out.
And you know what?
And I'm going to tell you why I think that is.
What do they have in common?
Big 12.
Besides that.
Baylor and they're both in Texas.
They're besides that.
They're both in Texas.
They're code champions of the Big 12.
So you can't put one in and not put the other.
See what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Because the Big 12 no longer has a championship gain.
That hurts you.
Because you have code champions now.
If one of them was the outright Big 12 champion,
I think they would leap frog Ohio State.
And does Nick Savon just look at this and go really?
Really?
You're going to put.
And a lot of big things.
And the other big thing was a lot of people were saying.
Alabama almost had to win yesterday.
Now granted.
They opened a can.
Yeah.
Much like Oregon did to Arizona on Friday night.
Which we're going to talk about here momentarily.
But could you.
The chaos that would exist.
If there were no SEC teams in the top four.
But that's your top four.
But let's go over the speaking of that.
Oregon over Arizona Friday night.
51 to 13.
And that was it.
That was the coverage championship game.
I was going to put that out there.
That was your pack 12 championship.
Yeah.
Saturday.
TCU over Iowa State 55 to three.
So they claim they're part of the Big 12 championship.
Bedlam.
There's an upset in Bedlam as Oklahoma State.
Edges out Oklahoma by a field goal.
38 to 35.
I thought Oklahoma had that game wrapped up too.
You never.
Bedlam's always one of those things, man.
You never count them out.
Alabama like we said all over Miss Zoo 42 to 13.
I think that team's on a bit of a mission.
Yeah.
Baylor of course to get their share of the Big 12 championship.
They defeat K state 38 to 27.
Georgia Tech.
You had one job.
Here we go.
Number four.
Over number 11.
You ready for this sir?
Uh-huh.
37 to 35.
God.
Wow.
And by the way for the state, you get Oregon.
And that offense.
They're not going to be able to keep up.
They are too slow.
Just too slow.
Marcus Mary out of for the Heisman.
That's all I'm saying.
And that happens in six days.
Which will be followed by 30 for 30 the U part two.
So if you're like me and your DVR and that set your DVR for an extra 30 minutes.
Cause the Heisman ceremony always goes long.
It always does.
With constant in.
Of course getting blanked by Ohio State as Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger.
Looses 59 to 9.
Which is another reason they give him.
And Boise State over Fresno State 28 to 14.
They actually got back in the rankings.
22nd right now.
Really?
I'm like my Florida basketball team.
Not right.
But that's a whole different issue.
Yeah.
I'm talking about that in March.
But now it's all over about the crying.
I give it two years and we go to eight teams.
You really think so?
Yeah.
I honestly believe that because you've got so much chaos going on right now.
With who's in?
Who's not?
I just think it goes to eight teams.
And so does that mean by weeks for a couple of teams?
No.
You go from eight to four to two.
But what happens when eight-ups it's one?
Then it's even more awesome.
You think so?
You know I'm all about chaos.
I'm all about chaos.
So we're going to have to see what happens as things go on.
Let's keep moving on.
You're listening to the clubhouse podcast.
We are live every Sunday night, seven.
These are four Pacific.
Next week we're going to be wrestling intensive because next Sunday night is
W-W-E-T-L-C-B.
No.
T-L-C-S.
What's the S?
Stairs.
Because you have a stairs match.
Next Sunday.
So there's going to be a French hero.
French heroes.
Yeah, tables, ladders, chairs, and stairs.
So there's that.
But we will still be on the live live on the air at seven.
These are four Pacific.
But shorter than our normal show as we prepare you for the final W-W-E
paper view of the year from an undisclosed location.
So be prepared for that next week.
Gentlemen, let's get into P-O-I.
P-O-I stands for person of interest.
It is a segment we do on this show.
Where we take a person or an entity and we debate their greatness or lack of their
love.
The pendulum does swing to me this week.
And as I was thinking of what we're going to do for P-O-I this week,
I realize that there's a new phenomenon that I've only really noticed this year.
I don't know if this has happened before.
Or it has and it just hasn't been pitched as such.
The winter slash fall finale.
A television shows.
This is kind of a sticking point of mind.
This is the first year that's happened.
Is it not?
I don't know if it's presented as such.
I don't know if it's the first year it's happened.
But they seem to be making a bigger deal about it this year.
Okay, so I haven't been sleeping.
No, no, no, no.
This is this is something that I think that they just haven't focused a lot of attention on.
I mean, I get that after November sweeps, you do your Christmas episodes and then we're off the air for four or five weeks.
But why is this such a big deal now?
It's the only way they can to sell it.
And I'm going to give you an example.
Gotham.
That fall finale.
I was like, is this supposed to be a cliffhanger?
Yeah.
Is it's really not?
I think they're losing direction on Gotham.
It's getting weird.
Yeah.
They've got to get the wheels back on that thing.
But to have your fall.
I mean, I've seen some of them call them winter finale's.
Here's a statement.
Winter doesn't start for another two weeks.
The first day of winter is two weeks from today.
It's still fall.
I think that's because I know that it's been a phenomenon with a walking dead ever since it started pretty much.
But walking dead's always kind of done that bit, though.
Where this is art, like, you know, call it the first half finale.
Right.
Or, you know, like, breaking bad.
Well, we're going to do a season, but it's going to take us three years to do it.
You know.
And you had that kind of with battle sarcological, because you had season 2.5.
But I hate it when they do that.
I just don't understand the deal.
I think they're getting so much black backlash when they say finale.
Or do we just have to have a name for everything?
That may be a win.
Because to me, it doesn't mean I'm going to be, who's the winter finale.
Like, it doesn't, it's not like a season finale.
I bet it's in the network contract somewhere that they have to be labeled like this.
Oh, and plus you have so many shows that we don't know if they're going to be back.
That's, that's the thing.
I think they're just, they're being forced to put a, like you said, like a label on it.
They have to call it something.
You know, like, I just got started on constant team today,
which they have their winter finale this week.
And from what I'm reading, that shows on the bubble right now.
Is it slow?
I've only watched the first episode, which I really, really enjoyed.
The guy playing him is much better than piano Reeves.
That ain't saying that.
But I, I really, really enjoyed it.
I'm kind of looking forward to where it goes.
But this is on what network?
NBC.
That's why I'm not watching it.
Every time they get a hold of a property like this,
every time they get a hold of a property like this,
they always bungalow it, fumble it.
They've been a whole lot of real well.
Well, I'm just saying this is a comic book property.
Yeah.
And they're, they're track record with comic book properties.
Things based in that realm.
IE heroes.
IE the cape.
They completely screwed up.
Correct.
We go back just a bit.
I just saw something that comes across the, the TV and the studio.
Apparently, Michigan has reached out to Jim Harbaugh.
But he said he's good.
Really?
I'm, I'm good in favor of him.
So, because I hear Oakland reaching out to him too.
No.
I wouldn't leave the NFL for Michigan as a college team.
I just, I don't know.
This, this doesn't serve a purpose to me.
If, I don't know if it's just, if it helps them,
if it, if it, if it's a ratings gathering device.
And maybe it works for them.
They, if it wouldn't you do that in sweeps because no,
December's not a sweeps month.
Could it be?
No, Vembaugh is where you get your bragging rights.
I don't know. I mean, maybe they're trying to,
who knows.
Could it be you have younger viewers and they really don't understand how TV works.
So they have to label things like this.
It's, it's, it's not the same.
The dumbing down of America.
Yeah.
It's really not the same ballgame anymore.
It's, the playing field is no longer level.
When it comes to broadcast TV.
Because they've got so much more competition now.
That maybe they feel like this is something
that they have to do in order to drive viewership.
Because they people have too many other options now.
And, you know, it, it really isn't the same battlefield anymore.
It's not what we grew up with, not with cable being the,
the juggernaut.
I mean, heck, now they're having to complete with Netflix.
And Amazon.
Yeah, I'm telling you.
I mean, it is, it is no longer the same beast.
They have to, you know, the, the, the rule because being rewritten on a regular basis.
Which is fine with me because it forces lazy writers on, you know.
It does.
We, we, we, we, the benefits from it.
Absolutely.
They're not.
But I'm thinking maybe that's what the deal is.
Is that they have to somehow gather interest.
Because it's, there's too many other options out there.
It was hard enough to get people to watch TV.
Yeah.
Well, we, we see a commercial right now for a show called Mary Mevich.
I don't know anybody.
I mean, I like the people involved in that show.
But I don't know anybody that watches it.
Yeah, I thought that show was done too.
And about a boy.
Don't know what to watch that show.
But it's still, this is the second season.
So, I don't know.
I mean, I'm not, I guess I'm not a Neilson household.
Well, I watch the first season of that, the majority of it of about a boy.
Just because I'm assuming you enjoyed it.
It was okay.
I like to show that that didn't make it that came on after it.
That had JK Simmons and we played the blind lawyer.
Oh, yeah.
They have the family's name in it.
There's something.
Yeah.
I couldn't even tell you what it is, no.
Which, I guess, really bespeak the impact that the show had on me.
But I was like, well, if it's not going to be around,
and I'm not going to bother learning the name of it.
If they're just going to kill it anyway.
And again, NBC.
Anything else?
Any other points on this?
All right.
Fair enough.
I think that's, I think that's our listening to the clubhouse podcast.

Fawn, Don, Go.
We love doing live shows in remote locations.
That too remote.
I mean, I got to pay for gas.
But if you want details on that email done,
he has down at the clubhousepodcast.com.
You can email me.

Oh yeah.
Charlotte Parker is on Pinterest because we are morally obligated to say that.
And Jules Lomick, see, she was there last night.
That's why the shots were fired because she's gangster like that.
Yeah.
I'm just saying.
Coincidence?
I think not.
Yes, I think it was.
We are your one stop shop for all things sports and entertainment.
So let's go back to entertainment and do a little bit of music talk.
We go live to Vegas for this next story.
As you know.
The greatest thing in the way we have a correspondent in Vegas, right?
Yes, we do.
Oh, okay.
You just don't know who this is.
This is news to me.
They live in another state, you don't know.
She has been doing a residency in Vegas now for a while, if I'm not mistaken.
And I believe the shows named after this song, a new day has come.
She is taking a leave of absence from her Vegas show to care for her husband,
who has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
That sucks.
So this guy was considerably older than her by like 15, 20 years.
Yes.
So we hope that they're well.
We hope that they're doing everything he can't, but in the meantime,
we've got a couple of artists that have come up and said,
you know what?
We're going to step up.
We're going to cover, you know, shows in Vegas for her while she's gone.
Here's one of them.
Talk about a left turn.
Take a sip of my T.C.
Bearford just the intro continues.
This is not identifying anything for me.
Okay.
Reba McIntyre.
And a band that I thought was broken up.
But apparently for them hanging out in Vegas is okay.
I told the story on, I told the story on this show,
but I saw Reba in 1992 at the Miami Arena.
They opened for her.
Really?
And I remember seeing them going,
man, these guys are obnoxious.
I just don't think they're going to go very far.
I was wrong.
I saw her in 1986 and Kathy Matteo opened for her.
She's still, she's out out there too.
Kathy Matteo.
She's still out there.
She's still out there.
She's still out there.
She's still out there.
She's still out there.
She's still out there.
She's still out there.
Almost like crashed into the wall.
Nothing says tourist destination,
besides calling your place Mud Island.
Yes.
That will get you people there.
It's been in a movie.
It was in the firm.
So if you're into these artists,
Vegas has a show for you.
But right here to judge you outward,
like Panhals.
It's kind of a side step.
It's Celine Dion, country at all.
That's a good thing it's kind of a left turn.
But you got to put butts and seats somewhere.
Gotta have a butt every 18 inches out there.
All right, that's the rule.
We've got some more of what the hell.
I didn't have anything by these artists,
so they're popular, so this is what I used.
For New Year's Rockin' Eve, pay attention to John Travolta.
Idena Menzel, who, by the way, did you notice
John Travolta was against it, the sole train awards.
Last week.
Because I know he comes screaming to mine whenever I think that.
It was so weird, and the group called magic
with an explanation point.
I really am getting old because I don't know who they are.
They say it's not with a question mark.
Idena Menzel, I know who she is.
She's been around for a minute, but magic
with an explanation point.
I have nothing.
Oh, we go into a magic show, or I don't know.
They haven't added a line up for New Year's Rockin' Eve,
and congratulations to the side.
Did you see this story this week?
Oh, as in, we know that Gangnam Style
was the most viewed video in the history of YouTube, right?
It broke YouTube last week.
Because YouTube's programming language only allowed
up to two billion views with a beat.
He broke it.
They had to rewrite the code so they could keep the ticker moving.
Nice, God.
And nobody's still knows who you are.
Interesting story coming out of this band as well.
If I can get it to work, thank you.
This is a band that people either like them, or you don't.
I'm not a fan, or you're going to a palter when you divorce one.
No, they did not divorce, remember, sir.
Yes, they consciously unculp.
That's correct.
Even though he was with Jennifer.
He said a line from a movie.
The conscious had a couple, I know.
It should be.
It sounds like a meatloaf song, I don't know.
But no, there's not enough syllables in it.
Coldplay is hinting that their next album
called the Head Full of Dreams may be their last.
And hearts broke all over the globe.
Yeah.
I went out with Jennifer Loss for about three days.
He's going to be the next Taylor Swift.
Oh, yeah.
Actually, you know what, her singing voice, not that bad.
She's saying a song there in the mocking J that sounded pretty good.
We're about to tell you the Taylor Swift joke.
Okay, fair enough, fair enough, fair enough.
Not say for work.
And we go from news that kind of makes Chad happy
to news that's really going to make Chad happy.
I decided to use a DJ hero version.
So you'd have to hear it just him.
Little Wayne was supposed to have his brand new album,
the Carter 5 part one was supposed to release this week.
Just wait for it.
There's already a Roman numeral in the title, right?
Yeah.
It's part one of the fifth album.
That is so stupid.
That is so friggin stupid.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
I'm bearing the lead.
That is just, that's beyond stupid.
It was supposed to release this Tuesday.
Okay, but now it's being pushed back.
And he is saying that Birdman and Cash Money records
is refusing to release it.
And he wants out of his recording contract.
Thank you, Birdman.
See you tomorrow.
Could you pick him out of the lineup?
I mean, I'm sure people probably have.
I'm sorry.
I'm sure that's happened.
I know, I know Harvey Birdman, you know, attorney at law.
That was a show on Comber on it.
Oh, Birdman, yeah, not the same guy.
Although I do want to see that, I've heard very good things about that.
But he is saying that the record label is hold,
didn't he found Cash Money records?
I thought he did.
The Carter 5 part one.
I'm still, I'm, no, no, no.
Maybe it's only like a half of an album or something.
I'm sorry, but if it's the Carter 5 part two,
that makes it the Carter 6.
You're getting, you're getting six songs for $14.
Yeah, unless they're two EP's broken over the course of a year.
Go away, dude.
Just go away, Frisert.
I'm so tired of him.
And in news that maybe one of the biblical signs of Armageddon.
Grammy nominations out this past week.
Beyonce is now the most Grammy-nominated female in history, passing
Dolly Parton.
Okay.
Still not a talented as her husband.
I'm just going to say it.
She's just popular.
That's all it is.
Does it mean you were?
But that's happening, people.
Just, just hearing this voice just makes me want to put my head through plaster.
Not in here, please.
No, no, no, no.
It devised my, my property.
I'll just put it through my ceiling and get my kitchen.
Go across the street.
I'm matching set them.
Exactly.
So music new releases in places that you get music new releases in this Tuesday.
I know we've played this a couple of weeks ago, but it's the different thing.
On the heels of the brand new Wu Tang clan album, Ghost Face Killer
Reface releases his latest album called 36 seasons.
You could have just called it nine years, right?
Did I do my math right on there?
Uh, sounds about right.
Yeah.
Also R&B artist Jade Cole releases 2014 Forest Hills Drive.
Sometimes I question the album titles and this is one of them.
But we also go to the Eric Cartman of rock music for a brand new album this week.
Who, by the way, ridin article today.
Billy Corgan says that he and Kurt Cobain are the greatest songwriters of the generation.
Everyone else is a distant third.
Right.
Nian Kinky.
They've been speaking with Jerry Jones.
How to promote yourself?
Somewhere in rock and roll heaven, Kurt Cobain's going.
That white man say my name.
Don't put me in your stuff, dude.
Seriously.
That sounds like something that his widow would say.
That's something that his widow would say that about herself.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I ever tell you the other Yoko Hono.
One of my favorite comedy moments comes from her.
I used to work at a sports bar and at a sports bar, they had NT and trivia.
And on Friday nights, they used to do a battle of the sexes game,
where you'd have women style questions and men style questions.
I want to men style questions.
It was, it was a music question and you had three choices.
It was like, what band did the distance and your choices and I'm not kidding you.
It was ABC.
It was shut, cake, and whole.
I'm like, am I the only one that notices this?
That's funny.
Somebody at NT and knew what they were doing that day.
That's brilliant.
Yes.
And what could be the most insane music new release this week?
On Tuesday, if you're on iTunes and you're a fan,
there's an album called Crazy Christmas featuring Shooter Jennings,
Son of Bocifus, and this guy.
What?
What?
Mick Foley and Shooter Jennings releasing a Christmas album on Tuesday.
A full album, a full album, available on iTunes, this Tuesday.
I'm like, oh, there's no way this is not going on the run sheet today.
Awesome, I just want to hear it.
What can you do?
Do you really, do you really?
Yes, there's a train wreck.
You have to look.
That's fair point.
And you did see a car crash on the way here.
That's a look, yeah.
Mick Foley Shooter Jennings.
It's going to put it out there.
Do what?
Marinate.
I'm looking to see if there's a video up on YouTube already.
All right, gentlemen, let's get into the big leagues.
NFL talk, holy crap, there's a lot of people getting injured.
What's up with that?
It's week 14.
Let me see if I can pull up my, uh, my notifications here so I can tell you exactly.
Oh, by the way, uh, soccer fans.
The LA Galaxy defeat the New England Revolution two to one in land and
Donovan's finale to win his third MLS Cup in four years.
Congratulations.
Um, let's see.
Oh, I don't have them all anymore.
What happened there?
Oh, here we go.
Back to the day.
Jamal Charles exited the chiefs game today with an apparent injury in the first half.
Andy Dalton exes the Bengals game today.
Jason Campbell takes over Auburn fans rejoice.
There goes my season.
Colt McCoy out today with a next train.
So RG three back in.
Brandon Marshall out for the season two crack ribs in a punctured one of some form
or an along the injury that I did not, but I heard about it.
Oh, my god, that looked brutal.
Should Davey on clowny out for the year with season ending surgery?
That's not shocking at all.
I mean, it was that he won't play the season four.
It was injuries.
Just fast today.
Couldn't think of a word.
Is there anyone more overhyped than Jadavian clowning?
Well, well, it's played.
This is over the past three years.
But I'll tell you what though.
I could watch that that hit he laid on Michigan all day long.
Yeah, that's pretty awesome.
That was that.
Well, you're talking about knocking somebody out of their helmet.
That's what that was.
And then the Baltimore Ravens, I know I'm going to screw up this guy's last name and they said
on sports center and I could remember how they pronounced it.
How loading to gata.
What going with that?
Probable defensive tackle now suspended four games for violating the leagues,
performance enhancing substance abuse policy.
Not as just stupid.
I think the GS silent.
I just got the world on a string dude.
Yeah, I just don't get it.
Oh, that's the one.
I don't know what happened there.
It's very odd.
It's uh, no, no, no, no.
You know the uh.
Yahoo, sports page upsets me sometimes.
The way they do things and get it.
I think they've got another way to make that site more confusing.
Just anything Yahoo related has become a little bit.
I think they're dumping all their money into their app.
I think it's what it is.
You think so?
Yeah.
And their app takes forever to load.
Yeah.
Yes, even on my iPhone 6 Plus, it crashes a lot.
Week 14 underway, a very strong showing kind of by your cowboys on Thursday night.
I mean, 41 to 28 don't let that thing fool you.
Because Chicago was trying to come back near the end of that game.
How they were?
The bears have a terrible, terrible.
He fits, terrible.
But Dallas now has the winning record.
You know, yeah, I just can't believe that Atlanta has no one here can believe that because
it feels unreal.
Atlanta has a has a playoff spot in Dallas has to fight for a welcome.
It just cracks me Dallas, but see Dallas is above 500 sir.
Did the Philadelphia win today?
They have tripled my prediction for a win total this year.
Is that game ended?
I'm assuming it has it this way.
Which one need to see Hawkston Eagles?
We're going to talk about it here in just a minute.
Awesome.
Today, my beloved Tampa Bay buck and ears take it in the short and curlies.
34 to 17 from Detroit.
Well, they were hanging in for a while and then no.
Well, so was my Miami Dolphins and then they lose 28 to 13 at home the Baltimore when Ryan
hit Tana Hill sack seven times.
Seven times.
Don's Pittsburgh Steelers still causing chaos.
I would hate to be in that division right now.
This game, but I was like, okay Pittsburgh can't do anything.
Next thing I look up and they're up by two touchdowns.
The NSC North Cleveland is a game back and they're in fourth place, sir.
A half game separates for second and third in that division.
Do Cleveland win today?
We can talk about it here now.
But Pittsburgh opens a can in Cincinnati 42 to 21.
Take this score and double it boys.
Did they start scoring whenever, uh, Dalton went out?
I would assume.
Indianapolis squeaks it out on the road against Cleveland today.
And India was getting three and a half in this game.
What? They were getting three and a half because they were on the road.
The Giants 36 to 7. My God, the Giants win?
Did they really at Tennessee? Um,
Minnesota has to go to overtime to beat the lowly jets 30 to 24.
Carolina amidst a huge brawl in this game.
Goes to New Orleans and serves up 41 to 10.
Apparently Cam Newton woke up this morning thinking he was true breeze of last year,
the year before, the year before.
Rob Ryan's out. I mean, when him and Sean Payton are getting into it on the sidelines,
as was evidence in last week's game, it's over for him.
But you know what? New Orleans hadn't scored this year.
Give me like, oh, it's not Drew Breeze.
Well, it's gotta be somebody's fault because no one on that offensive do exactly.
St. Louis goes to RFK stadium.
And if you, you could get tickets to this game online for $4 today.
Wow. Ouch. $4 if you want to see the Washington football team virtual slap to the face.
Have the St. Louis Rams come to town and then the Washington football team loses 24 to 9.
You got blanked by the Rams.
But that's again.
Look at it this way. Their coach is pretty brilliant. Andrew yes or no,
RG3 is with the Washington football team next season. Yes. Chad.
Do you want now? Yes or no, RG3 is with the Washington football team next season.
Do you know how ironclad his contract is? I guess, but I don't know why they would keep him around.
I say no.
Because there is no, is this the end of his room? It is no secret. I believe it is.
There is no secret that J. Gruden and he are not getting along. Well, if
his scene of his rookie contract didn't, I don't, I have my doubts. He would be there. But who
would they have no one to go get? They kind of have to stick with him.
He's not RG3 is not getting along with anyone. Let's just face.
I still like the opinion that Daniel Snyder still thinks he has John Gruden and he has J. Gruden.
Jacksonville gets Houston to come to town and gets beat by them 27 to 13. Denver over
Buffalo 24 to 17. So they stay in the hunt. Of course, KC loses a squeaker to Arizona.
Who by the way is on fire. 17 to 14. That NFC West. Yes. Good night.
That's another one of those divisions that you. Arizona's 10 and 3 now, right?
10 and 4. Let me get that for you real quick. NFC West Arizona's 10 and 3. Wow.
There are two games ahead of Seattle and three games ahead of San Francisco.
Okay, back to where I was. If you're a fan of this next team, be proud.
Because the bottom wind is a radar. The Raiders are now two and 11.
After they beat San Francisco today, 24 to 13. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
And in soldier field today, cowboy fans rejoice. Seattle goes in and gets the job done 24 to 14.
But you're still a game back. Yep. And you still got to go to the vet or it's the link now link.
But you've still got to go to the link. I believe next week if I'm not mistaken. Yes, it is.
Because don't you play them two weeks out of three? No, we're playing the cults this kind of way.
I thought we like the cults. And then tonight New England at San Diego. No, because we already played
Philly wants him. We play Philly on the last game of the season because good deal. Good day all wants the last game of the season. We'll look at it here in a minute.
And it landed tomorrow night at the fruits and tundra of land.
That is that might be a decent game.
I didn't might be a slaughter to seven touchdowns. Green Bay will score that the over under.
I'm making that up now. That hey, you know, you might be accurate.
Rodgers is on fire
Matthew on to France. Yeah, I'm saying. Yeah, Thursday night this week Arizona at St. Louis
I don't care how much Arizona's favored by Beth the mortgage because this isn't even going to be closed. No
Arizona's going to go in like what was that guy in a Harlem. I don't take this but we'll be in
importantly. You're like that's what's got to turn into Philly's next.
They're at Philadelphia. That's your Sunday night game next week.
730. Yeah. My Emmy at New England. I hate it when they go to New England in December.
I'm just going to say that out loud. Tampa Bay is at Carolina. That's not going to be fun either.
Dallas at Philadelphia is your night game. Also, Don's Pittsburgh's dealers will be at the Atlanta
Falcons Green Bay will be at Buffalo. Not really a home field advantage because it's outside and that's
the Green Bay does too. Okay. Since the nanny will be at Cleveland again for the battle of Ohio
Houston will be at Indy. Oh, oh, man. This is going to hurt. Yeah, it's all I'm saying because
Indy not only they're they're are playing well enough to win but when they want to put the gas on
they put the gas on they do and they also feature my favorite player in the league. Number one in your
program. Number one in your heart. Pat McFee. Huge fan. Love me some Pat McFee. Yeah.
Oh. Oakland de Kansas City. Can we say 12? Can we say 12? The Washington football team will be
at the Giants. So if you need a nap right about one Eastern, there you go. Get it out of the way.
Jacksonville has Baltimore. The Jets will be at Tennessee. I'm assuming 0 0 time.
Jesus Denver will be at San Diego. Minnesota will be at Detroit San Francisco back at Seattle.
So if you didn't get enough of that game from Thanksgiving night.
Oh, Pete. Repeat. I didn't need night quill that night. That's all I'm telling. Yeah.
But it's or anything worse than taking night quill and waking in your alarm going off before the
night quill come or wears off. Friday. I was in a fog for like an hour and a half. It was bad.
And your Monday night game next week. And a game that the NFL wishes they could flex Monday night.
New Orleans at Chicago.
It's week 15. Yeah. This is going to be the test of how good the Saints often says this year.
Like we don't have proof yet. They should be able to. They should be able to eight 35 on this day.
Should and will are two different concepts. That's all I'm saying.
You are listening to the clubhouse podcast. We are your one stop shop for all things sports and entertainment.
Let's combine the two and talk some pro wrestling because last night the internet broke.
I don't know if you know what we're about to talk about Andrew. Oh, yeah. Uh someone put their
Herbie handcuffs somewhere. That's the herbie handcuffs. Call me by reference your welcome internet.
People were blowing me up last night.
Mike, what's going on? It's your watch TV. See you on punk has signed a multi fight deal with the UFC.
Awesome. Dana White has said his first fight will not be until July.
But he said we're going to treat him like a brand new guy. This isn't going to be like Lesnar because Lesnar had a amateur wrestling background.
He's going to fight it. He's going to be 0 and 0. He's going to fight another guy that's either 1 and 0 1 and 1 or 1 and 0 or 0.
But he's going to but he's going to be on the undercard on their July paper view.
They have to do this. What does AJ think of this?
Hey, does she put a tweet today from the press conference said proudest wife ever?
Do you see what John Jones said? Yeah, that he's had lighting rest on the other one.
J.R. are very positive about it. He says that punk's a real dedicated guy and
apparently this has been in the works for months.
That's good. And they're giving him a shot by actually allowing him to train and it'll get, it'll get ratings.
Oh, yeah. Because I don't know about y'all, but I will watch all about the star power.
I will watch because I need to see how this train wreck works.
Because if it's one thing you can say about CM Punk, the guy gets focused on something and he does it.
Hey, yes, that's true.
And if you watch him wrestle, he's got some of that training already in him.
You know, some of the submission holds he's used and things like that. It's not like he's going into this thing.
Cold. He knows what he's doing. Wow.
And a kind of an unrelated story.
You remember when he was supposed to walk out with son in two years ago?
Punk was supposed to walk out for a UFC fight with Kale Sonning. Oh, yeah.
Apparently the reason that the WWE gave him,
when he was when he reset this on Kolkabanist podcast,
was it been part two of that interview because Aaron is past one.
Vince told him he could not appear on UFC television because it was barbaric.
He's the McMan told him, no, we can't do that. That's barbaric. Somebody's going to die.
And apparently seeing a punk said, I had to remind him, I don't know if you remember
Owen harder or not, but he's sort of died in your ring.
But it's okay to have Undertaker there. Yeah, just stare down Lesnar. Yeah,
kind of like talking out both sides of your face. What ifs?
We do have some more details on the sting contract.
His contract is for five appearances.
We burned one, WrestleMania will be two.
I'm estimating the rumble will be three.
Five appearances, total or five appearances per year. Well, I'm sure it's a one-year deal.
So pretty much up until the end of November. I don't think you would count the hall of fame.
No, you could do that. If they're putting him in this year,
you don't get paid for the hall of fame. I can't imagine that they would have known.
So that's why it's been there being so sparse with his appearances. He's only
counter contract for five. And we will still, people are still saying,
although a lot of people are saying Undertaker likelihood this year is slim to none, but other people
inside are saying, no, that's the plan. But they've got, I think Triple H is the backup plan.
So put your money on age. I wouldn't, I think you have to put sting over.
If you're going to put Lesnar over, retymies shows up.
So do you think Undertaker lost the title of a broad just because he didn't want to drop a sting?
He didn't drop the title of a shot. Sorry, like a streak. Yeah.
But the rumor was he wanted to do with the year before.
I don't, I don't think, I think Undertaker has a lot of respect for sting. I don't think that would be an issue.
Those two are very, a lot of respect between them. I would think you would rather drop a
disdain than Lesnar. That's just me. Oh, and Don says don't forget,
remember Triple H walked out with Mayweather at a boxing match. That's right. And but he's still one time, too.
That's a boxing match. That's not as barbaric as you actually depends on who you are.
I just, yo. I think he would just spit balling. He would just throw in any lame excuse
that that he could. And by the way, the Stone Cold podcast with Vince McMahon will be on the
audio Tuesday this week, not Thursday. Which a lot of good feedback from it. I'm looking forward to hearing
goes apparently. Stone Cold kind of goes out of. Really? And basically tells him, this is what's wrong
with your company. Good. So he's like, how much time you got there? Yeah. Congratulations, Roman
Reigns. He got married yesterday. Good for him. To his fiance Galena Joel Becker. He put pictures
from the wedding up on his Instagram or Twitter, one or the two. Oh, Beach Wedding. One of them
has, I don't know if it's their daughter or his or her, but there was a little girl with them.
So congratulations to Roman Reigns. Now get your butt back to work because you are needed sir.
One thing that Stone Cold's been saying on his podcast last couple of weeks. He's been saying
Roman Reigns if you're not doing it, since you're on the shelf, you'd be watching as much footage
as you can. And Steve got in kind of vocal lately about the current state of the product.
And not really in a bad way, but I don't disagree with anything he's saying. I'll tell you that
much. Somebody needs to be vocal about it. Yeah. It didn't just drifting. And again, a great
two-part interview with Bray Wyatt. Really enjoyed that interview. Is that up right now?
Uh, yeah. It's been since it's the last two-two's day show. The Thursday shows have been
leaving a little bit to be desired. But uh, because it's just him talking with this guy that
works in the ranch with him and some of it's funny and some of it's really not. But he's got the
show I don't. You know, somebody out there. There's a man out there right now. Steve.
Eric Rowan, if you watched WWE programming this week, they are now subtly shoving his new
bit down our throats. He's now going to be known as Big Red. I don't know, he's going to come to the
ring chewing gum. Drinking soda or what? Like, just let the dude be. Like, he's really, he's not
pretty good push right now. Yeah. And he's got skills. So, and apparently Bray Wyatt is saying
that the Wyatt family is not broken up. Just get the attention on TV. Please. They've been shooting
video vignettes for them this week. Really? So it's coming. Get some life back in that tag team division.
It's kind of like the tag division's going in waves. You know, it's like, it's good and then
it gets crappy. Then it gets good and then it gets crappy. Well, see, the thing is the downward
parts of that wave are so low that when it comes back up, it's just worse. It's a fair point.
And we had read until last week that prisoners next appearance would be tomorrow night on
Raw as the go home for show for TLCS. Now they're saying not till next Monday. Because why
wouldn't you have your champion on the paper bill? By the way, for those of you playing the home
game, this is three in a row. Remember, he wasn't at hell on a sell. He wasn't at Survivor series
and now he's not at TLC. Let's put the belt on that guy. Yeah. He wasn't at hell on a sell. That was
money well spent. Oh, because remember, your hell on a sell matches were the scene a match and the
Ambrose match. Oh, that's right. Oh, that debacle. Your champion has not been on television
since night of champions, which was in September. Well, no, what was the one after that? What was
the first time? Because were there two paperbies in October? I don't get me lying. Actually, I'm
like, but is this, let me look at our RSS feed? No, there was nothing between not a champions and
how on a sell. So your champion has not been on television since the 21st of September.
There is no. He's not TV champion. He doesn't need to be on TV. He's your champion. And for
for Paul Hayman on Raw to refer to him as the defending. No, he's not because he's not the
defend belt. He could be your reigning. I think when you said that you're defending, you're just
playing devil's advocate there. I'm assuming, right? Just a lot. You shut your dirty mouth. But everyone
just to suit. I have a feeling that everyone just assumed Cena is still the champion. Like, I mean,
I know he's not anything he's without the belt, but I'll be honest with you. I forgot in
that the mess was a tag champ. Yeah. I mean, I mean, when when golden star dust came out for that tag team
turmoil, I was like, aren't they? Oh, I don't know. They're not a chair anymore. Whoops. Yeah.
Respect to biz and learning how to wrestle when he went to Japan, but still. I just wonder what's going to happen
when he finally loses. Is it going to be missed out that gets gets pinned? And then he's going to say,
no, it doesn't count because he's not the tag team champions. Interesting. I'm just saying,
all right, gentlemen, let's talk a little bit about raw if we have to and we do. So,
Cena cuts promo in the beginning of the show. And I never thought I'd say this,
but he suggests JBL is the GM. And I'm kind of on board. Why? Because no, God's name. Number one,
it would get him away from the announced table. First and foremost. Number two, I can see it.
Yes, I like this. But only between the champion face or heal GM, you have to. That's the problem.
You know, you're going to get heal JBL. That's all. That's all JBL can do. But see what you do is you'd
have him back in the office. And every time you see him, he'd be playing poker with for Rook.
It would be awesome. If, I mean, if that's the route they want to go, but you know, darn good
and well, that's not the route they would take. I just, he would be just as bad as H and
and Mr. McMahon. But they could as he was bringing back the anonymous raw GM was the worst
possible scenario that I will agree. Although, somebody on raw those week did have a
side and said, we all know what's horned so I go, which I was like, okay, funny.
So stupid. Was it Seth Green, the host of this or something? No, that's tomorrow night for the
slamming Seth Green is your host. God.
And I was doing nothing to encourage anybody to watch this show on Instagram. I ask him if he's the
raw GM and I will say this. Did you watch Raw on Monday, my injury? No. The new day came out.
I was just part of that tag team turmoil thing. Oh, yeah. It was, yeah, it was them. And
JB, I'll call them the fabulous Gleebirds. God. I said, sir. Well played.
Because I was like, did he just say the fabulous Gleebirds? And if Rousseff's going to be a heal,
shouldn't you refer to himself in a third person? Does he understand the third person, though?
I don't know. But let's see if the beginning of his theme music.
The obviously knows how to do the third person. Yeah.
I'm just saying, when you have a fake Russian being your mouthpiece.
Yeah. And I'm going to just go to say it. This Brebella heal turn is not working.
Because Nikki is still treating her as the inferior sister. Yeah. Like if you're both
heels and you're both equals with each other and be sisters and be heels. Yeah.
You know, I tried to read the recap about that and I was bored. Yeah. Like I'll tell you this.
We're reading the recap probably took longer than the match. Really? Wow. Yeah.
Hey, I'm not that slow reader. I just stopped picked that up.
Just saying that probably still did.
Charlotte who was taken three speed reading courses in her life. It probably took her longer to
read that than the match did. Oh, wow. Um, now we'll go get to the minute.
I'm just saying. So we got some news out of the Kurt Angle camp this week. He is staying with
TNA and intends to retire in 2015. Good. Why would TNA?
They kind of keep everybody they can right now, sir. Oh, sure.
And no, I did not watch the best of impact part two. Why that was two hours?
Yeah. Best of the last five years of impact might have taken two hours.
In fact, it can even have a sequel. Is it a testament? I think. Yeah. Oh, you know, I still
were going to start NBA and NHL this week. I did not get that put together. We'll do it after the
pay review. No problem. Yeah. He works. And also TNA knock out Brittany is gone after her
contract expired this past week. So the angle with her and Samuel Shaw apparently dead in the water.
And that's all of your impact news because I'm not covering impact until it actually goes back
on the air with new episodes. Yeah. If you want to, if you want to, if you want an impact recap,
just go back and listen to this entire year's shows and you'll pretty much piece it together.
You are not wasting an hour and 15 minutes of my life more than you have to,
especially with reruns because they don't do reruns unless it's family guy or friends. That's it.
And that's 70 show. Those are the things I stop down for. I mean, some of the old shows too.
Just saying.
Okay. Wait for it.
It's only version of this I have.
Mid last week. There is an arrest warrant sent out for one heat slider,
which goes back to WrestleMania 27 to remind you this year was 30.
We're a woman at a post party at a hotel alleges that he put her in a chokehold and attempted
to drag her back to his hotel room and several other wrestlers were around and did nothing to stop it.
He is saying that everything's going to go through my lawyer. This is ludicrous and I'm not going to
dignify this with an answer. That's all we know right now. WWE's like, look, they ain't
suing us. So my name's been at 99 in it.
The network is going to be adding Tuesday night titan starting this week. The old Tuesday night
titan show, even though they're starting it on Wednesday. What ever? It's about par and
what? As we know Rick Flair's daughter Charlotte your current NXT women's champion expected to be
called up to the main roster before the end of the year. But another member of his clan if you want to
call it that, tell the blancher's daughter is getting a try out with WWE this weekend. That's a pretty
girl too. So could we have a female for Horseman stable coming?
Because if you look at the picture that they have and for on 411, she's holding up the four fingers.
It's nice. Who are the other two? Well, I don't know if Orange's got a daughter that's in the
business. But maybe I don't know, maybe Windham's got a kid. Could be, you know. Not Paul Roma.
More about the man. What's the horseman? Also, they're speaking of Horseman. There was a guy this
week that got banned 2K 15. The 2K company that does the WWE games has banned him for life
for uploading an image of Ben Watte of the game. Really? Yep, right that way this week.
I'm just kind of weird. But well, that's just tasteless. We're going to talk a little bit
about SmackDown because so they open SmackDown with Raw Rebound. No, no, no. With Santino Morella
as your GM. Which, so Raw gets an anonymous GM, but SmackDown, that's it. I thought we got
a way from the brand separation. Maybe they're bringing him past the draft.
Just saying. And remember kids, if you marry a wrestler in real life, be prepared to have that
relationship scrutinized and then broken up on television as we're doing with Naomi and Jimmy Uso.
So there's that. How long did that last? Well, they've been married since May, I think.
Oh, that's good. Longer than most people thought. Anything else you have gentlemen for wrestling
talk? That's pretty much all I can stand because we've got a lot going on in movie talk this week.
Let's get to it. Box office numbers dropping out of the top 10 this week is Saint Vincent. It's the only
movie topping out of the top 10, but it only dropped from 10 to 11, $1.1 million, nine weeks,
$40.8 million. Have you, yeah, you didn't get to see this with us? No, no, make sure you check it out
when you can't. I will. Very good, Phil. Want to know what I really thought? Subscribe on iTunes.
Uh, Don says Anderson has two sons. Oh, there's that. But they could do like the hard dynasty kind of
thing. Ten to place down from nine to ten is Birdman $1.2 million for an eight week total of
18.9 million dollars, 18 million dollar budget. Wow. So you got that going for you, which is nice.
Day viewing in ninth place this week is the movie we talked about last week, the pyramid.
I saw the trailer for this. I was like, yeah, no, don't want to see it. No, no, no, no, no.
1.4 million dollars. I don't have a budget on it. Gone girls. Still in the top 10. Staying steady at 8th place with another
million and a half dollars, 10 weeks, $162.9 million dollars. God, $61 million budget, sir.
It's respectable.
You get that many twists and turns.
And it, Don says only Anderson is noted of having quote many illegitimate kids.
It's fair point. The 44 more. Staying in 7th place this week. Staying in 7th place this week is the
Stephen Hawking biopic, the theory of everything. $2.7 million dollars, five week total of 13.6 million
for an independent film, not bad. No. The fourth, fourth, fourth. Staying in sixth place this week.
I'm going to fight through this, dumb and dumb or two, $4.2 million dollars, four weeks,
78.1 million dollars. I don't have a budget on that. See if you can find that for me, sir.
Or Don, if you can hear me.
Don says, Windam has a daughter named Abigail Anderson.
Oh, okay. Maybe she's sister. I wasn't going to go there. I knew this,
soon as he said that. Dropping from four to five this week is interstellar another $8 million
for a five week total of $158.7 million dollars. It's still 7 million under budget.
This is your new knife will purchase. Is it? I've really polarizing reviews on this.
Big hero six drops from the bronze metal to fourth place this week, 8.2, I put $1.3 million
dollars, five weeks, $177.6 million dollars on $165 million budget. So they're doing okay.
From fifth place to the bronze metal this week, horrible bosses two, $8.6 million dollars for a
two week total of $36.1 million on a $42 million budget, it'll make budget. And it'll of course
probably have more of a life like I saw it on DVD, because I'm not going to see this theatrically.
Doncismlanko has three kids. The eldest is a daughter named Warrissa.
Don't just pour an out the information tonight. What's that budget on that double number two? Go ahead.
Chad still look at him sure. Got me. Probably like $200 million. Staying in the silver metal
position, penguins of Madagascar, $11.1 million dollars, two weeks, just under $50 million dollars,
$132 million dollars. Oh, yeah. Donald does he saw horrible bosses two not as
good as the first but had had good comedy throughout it. And staying again, in first place,
the Hunger Games mocking Jay Part One another $21.6 million dollar,
$125 million dollars budget, three weeks, $257 million, Worldwide it has crossed half a billion.
Besides squad castles released this week, Jared Leto will be the Joker, Margo Robbie from
Wolf of Wall Street will be Harley Quinn, Will Smith is going to be Deadshot, Tom Hardy
as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney is going to play Captain Boomerang, that makes sense, did you
just see who played him on Arrow though, no, the guy from Spartacus who was like the
bomb like, yeah, so we got one guy from Spartacus playing him on TV and we got another
guy from Spartacus playing him in the movie, okay, yeah, asher, asher played him on TV, wow,
that's cool, yeah, he was really good too, he really, really was, I'm so okay with this castles,
and a Kara Delavinge will be playing in Chantris, your release date is August 5th, 2016, four suicide squad.
Just do it right, let's all ask him, I've got faith in Jared Leto, if, hey man, if, if, if he can pull
it off, there ain't no reason why I got it, just one an Oscar can't pull it off, that's a
fair point, yeah. Batman V Superman, Donna Justice has wrapped principle photography as
has Ant-Man, so we just have to wait another year and a half, for Batman V Superman, cool, what
is that? Is that just a wallpaper? Yes, nice, purpose of seven, a Jason Fuchs, the guy who wrote
the, about to be released, Pan, which is the Peter Pan theatrical film, as well as Ice Age
Continental Drift is writing Wonder Woman, I don't know how I feel about this, have you seen
that Pan trailer yet? I have not, does it give you, does it give you relief that he's writing Wonder
Woman? It gives me pause. Well, I don't know, I mean, it, it, it didn't look like an awful
film, but it's not something I'm gonna write out and see because I think the Pan story is kind
of been done to death. Right, um, uh, speaking of done to death, Disney's doing a newer version
of, uh, Robin Hood. No, you know, Steven Zimmerman who's listening in said he wants to know
why there isn't a doctor doom film, you know what, and he says, and I'm not just talking
about the dolphins, but he said that, and he, he is a Finn's fan as much as I am. Um, you know,
what, they're gonna have him in the new Fantastic Four, which they're saying now is going to be
based more on the ultimate story than the regular canon. That instead of it being like a mission
of space, they wind up it in alternate dimension, which they come back with the powers. It's kind
of how they did amazing Spider-Man. Yeah, that was pretty much based in the ultimate Spider-Man
universe. There could be arguments made. No, it wasn't. Yeah, it kind of was. Mm. Yeah.
I wish that those two films, actually, I like to amazing. I was like, what are you talking about?
I was thinking about the other Fantastic Four movies. Uh, I just don't know this, this
Wonder Woman thing. I, they're saying it might be based in the 30s now. Don't screw up. Don't screw
up continuity on me. Yeah. That radio Diana is a mortal, so she can agent or she wants to.
But, you know what I mean? Where's the island going to be? That's a fair point.
But I've seen some really cool fan-made trailers for it, so there's that. Well, I don't know.
Squat. Yeah.
Yeah. It is now official.
Then it gets cumbersets will be Dr. Steven Strange.
You're welcome in your net. Come in in that.
Also Ryan Reynolds will be Deadpool.
Finally, so they finally made that a fit. It's from what I'm being told it's a done deal.
Let me took him five years.
Actually, you want, you want to, you want to, you want to, you want to, you want to, you want to,
I had queued up for for the Deadpool story. Oh, I thought.
See what I did there. You know, it's not Jim Carrey's thing of it.
But then we have to go to this.
This is not.
Friend of the show Adam Candy would be very happy right now.
Teenage Union Ninja Turtles will be directed by David Green, not the guy that directed the
first one Jonathan Lebesman. But there is a sequel coming.
You never did see it did. I did not, but I will check it out eventually. It's good. It was a present.
Enjoyable. I've heard you just kind of have to put your
80s teenage Ninja Turtles out of the door. Leave your brain at home and drive all the way
without a brain walk in and how many movies can you say that about and that shows you what class
it's in. Thank you.
Please stop this. This is on Prime right now. I'm not going to lie. I'll watch it. I'll put my
as we know in Surgeon the next part of the divergent series. The teaser trailer is out.
I didn't realize Charlotte had read these books as well. And when we saw the teaser trailer,
she looked at me and she went, that's not in the book. So there's that. But because apparently
this is the thing now, a legion to which is the third book in that series will be split in the two
films. And director Robert Swinke, who is directing in Surgeon will direct the first part.
What is that the bit now? You'll get for all this worth, I guess.
Pure introduction. Um, wait a minute now. Wait a minute. That was supposed to be two films,
you know, as well as I do. But you know, he didn't start this trend, but still. You can
name that on Stephanie Myers and JK Rowling. I could believe it on their books, not on them.
Well, there's only that was their decision. Yeah, I'm sure they didn't make a dime off of those
two films. But I'm just saying I'm just saying. And then the big news happens on Thursday.
Oh, good Lord. Bond 24. Specter. Thank God. If you, if you, you see the, the teaser
poster I assume by now. Yes, the bullet hole, the bullet hole that has the tentacles coming out of
a very, very cool start filming tomorrow. Principal photography begins tomorrow. All I had to hear
was who they had picked for blowfeld at my mind. It's not blowfeld. It's not.
Valt is not blowfeld. Nope. No, sir. Who the heck is he? All right, can tell you that can be just one moment.
Which maybe leaves open the possibility for someone else to become? I'd like it to be Ben King's
himself. Yes. Yes. He is everywhere and would be better. So he goes from the fake
mandarin to blowfeld. Yes. Although it doesn't the character that this guy's playing now doesn't
he end up like dying like a fake death and coming back as blowfeld. Oh, I don't know.
Chris stuff, Valt is playing Oberhauser. Oh, darn it. I was really hoping to have Chris
off Valt's around for a couple of movies as the villain. But you've also got Monica Balucci in this
thing. Is it Oberhauser like a bentore bond or something? Yeah, at one point. He was in
mentor with him earlier in his career. You talk about a woman who I've got a, I've had a
character torch for for a long time. It's my collugi. You know who she is? Oh, yes.
Yes. He's a dude. Of course he does. Yes. You know, she's, she's kind of disappeared for a while.
She was all over the place in the, the late 90s and early odds. And then yeah.
Um, but uh, she's just kind of, uh, stop making movies over here. She's probably never
stopped making movies in Italy. But Roberta Orsi will not be directing Star Trek 3.
Rumor is now Edgar Wright is in. I don't know if Roberta Orsi ever really demonstrated his
competency directing. He was attached to it. I thought it was odd that he got chosen to direct that
he's a screenwriter. He's not a director and production on Steven King's it will start next
summer rumors of that being two films as well. But that's what they did. Many series was too far.
That's true. Yeah. Are we going to mention that Batista's in this neighborhood and Batista
yes is playing hinks. The henchmen. I'm in. I'm in. I'm in. I'm good. What was Holly Barry's character's name
and done jinks. That's what I thought. Oh, they're not a connection there. Oh, we don't acknowledge that. Yes.
The end of that movie was just got off. The end movie was not awful. No, I made it even worse.
Just stuck the dialogue. And the fact that they were going to spin her character off into her own
franchise at one point. Because Catwoman was such a wonderful idea. I caught my wife watching that the other day.
That was like really? Was it an accident? Maybe that's her job. He was there watching it.
Maybe that's her what? Not real. That's her knife. Well.
Movie new releases in places you watch movie new releases in this week.
A movie that we got to check out this past week.
Exodus gods and kings. And I will tell you
when this movie releases on Friday. If there's one
iTunes exclusive episode you want to listen to. This one is it. It's kind of polarizing. It was by far one of the most
interesting ones we've ever done. It is by far the longest iTunes exclusive we've ever done. We kind of went to the
ocean deep. Yeah. And if you really want to understand the dynamic of this circle of people
we always talk about we can disagree but we can be friends at the end of it. Listen to this
iTunes exclusive. It ran the gamut. Yeah it really did. It kind of it just took on a life of its own.
So check it out Friday before you decide whether or not to go see the film.
Also a movie that I'm very interested in because everybody in their brother is
in this thing. Have you seen this? Have you seen this thing? An inherent vice? I've heard about it.
I haven't seen a trailer or anything.
In 1970 a drug-fueled Los Angeles detective Larry Docksportello investigates the
disappearance of a former girlfriend. Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Katherine Watterston.
I wonder if that's Sam's daughter and granddaughter. Reese Witherspoon,
Berniceo Del Toro, Jenna Malone, Maya Rudolph and Martin Short. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Oh God. Yeah I'd explain it. I mean my goodness. Michael Kenneth Williams is in this.
Owen Wilson, I didn't say his name. Eric Roberts is in this.
I mean the list just keeps going and going and there's somebody else that
I think you're familiar with. I'm going to mute the mics when I say this.
Martin Donovan is in this. Joann and Newsom. Gosh and I'm still scrolling through these names.
The Dean of Mean Keith Jardine is in this. Good mercy. That is insane.
Jenna Malone. You don't know who I'm a huge fan of. I got to know this.
That was supposed to happen.
I got to know this Katherine Watterston is- she was born in the London so she's not released
really the Sam. I don't know if she's not related to him. She's an actress in a producer. She's
in Michael Clayton. She was also in that robot and Frank a couple years ago.
Also top five the new movie from Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. Chris Rock wrote and directed.
It's a comedian tries to make it as a serious actor when his reality TV star fiance talks
him into broadcasting their wedding on their TV show. Adam Sandler Rosario Dolson, Kevin Hart,
Gabrielle Union, Wippie Goldberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Tracy Morgan, Romany Malco,
Sedrick the entertainer, JB Smooth, Sherry Sheppard. Do I need to keep going?
Because I can't. Ben Verine. The great Tom Papo who's incredibly underrated in my personal opinion.
And haven't been Verine's name mentioned in a long time.
A movie called Jingle Bell Rocks. What do you know about this? Nothing. This is a documentary.
About people who are obsessed with finding obscure Christmas music.
That's a thing. Yeah, it's a thing. And it looks like a great documentary. I'm very
much looking. I want to see this thing. And also a movie called The Captive. Have you seen
this trailer? Whoa. Eight years after the disappearance of Cassandra, some disturbing
incidents seem to indicate she's still alive. Police, parents, and Cassandra herself will try
to unravel the mystery of her disappearance. Ryan Reynolds Scott Speedman, Rosario Dolson,
again this week. Kevin Durrand, Peyton Kennedy Bruce Greenwood. I see the trailer. The
trailer this looks. So I'm saying I've become a really, I've become a bigger and bigger fan of Rosario
Dolson. I've seen her in like two movies and I was watching her later. She's great. Yeah.
I'm already like her, but I just, I don't know. I just didn't realize how much I liked her.
DVD and blue right new releases in places. You get DVDs and blue right new releases this week.
Gee, I want to what this could be. Guardians of the Galaxy, which I'm told is going to have
some new age of Ultron footage on it. Lots of movies so much. I'm so glad you finally saw it. God,
it was good. If you haven't seen this, you're a communist. Also this week, Dolphin Tale 2.
Wasn't that in theaters like three weeks ago? Seems like it. Okay. It wasn't that great.
So when the game stands tall, a faith-based film about a high school football team.
So it's got nothing to do with it. Is that the one where the guy that was played the passion?
Got the Christy. I don't think he's in it, is he?
Kv's a little visual. Yeah. I don't want to look it up. Thank you, Internet.
Okay, we're going to learn how to type.
Yeah, Jim Kv's a little isn't this. Yeah. Fair enough. Alexander Ludvig,
Chickless is in this. Laura Dern, Clancy Brown. Yeah, there's a guy whose name makes me laugh.
Let me eat the mics. You're welcome. Also. Also, dead snow too, red versus dead. If you remember
dead snow, this was a movie about Nazi zombies. Watched it. I watched it. I do enjoyed it.
I'm going to kick out the sequel hits DVD and blue right this week. Calvary about the
priest. It's an indie film about a priest who has to deal with a bunch of different stuff,
including a daughter he had from where he became a priest and how he deals with that. It looks
looks a little weird, but it looks kind of cool. A Frank, the only movie brave enough
to put Michael Fassabender in an oversized mask for the entire film. John, a young
wannabe musician, discovered she's bitten off more than he can chew when he joins an eccentric
pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank. And Frank is Fassabender and he's got a
paper mache mask, the whole movie that's about the width of his body. Maggie, Jillin Halls in this.
I'm going through it's the only name I reckon. A Scoot McNary. I'm a big fan of his in this.
Jeff Dunham's doing all over the map. There's a movie or is this a movie? It's okay,
ladies with NWWE releases true giants this week. That sucks. Uh, Don says Dolphin TL2 is released on
September 12th. Jeez, so. But true giants about all the big guys in the history of the WWE.
And of course, we all know who's on the cover. Let's do a little tech corner show because we got
a couple things to talk about. Something I think your daughter will be very interested in, sir. Go ahead.
Kingdom Hearts 3 in the works. They're saying may have Disney and Marvel characters involved. I call
that. I call that one. That deal got signed. And I think they're probably the possibility of another franchise
than the under the Disney umbrella. Uh-huh. Also, Apple is being sued. Apparently there were people
that would buy MP3s from places like Real Networks and stuff like that where they were cheaper.
And iTunes was deleting them off their computer. All that is jacked up. So a class action suit is
being, I believe it's a class action suit being brought up against Apple. I could be wrong, but I think
it's a class action suit. Go after them. And starting December the 12th this Friday every day for
for 12 days at eight Eastern every day. J. K. Rowling is giving a Christmas present to fans of
very Harry Potter. Not that, not that, not that. Where you will get a brand new Harry Potter
short story every day for 12 days. How do you feel about that? If you're a member of the Potter
moron, whatever that is. I'm not. Megan made me binge watch the entire Harry Potter film series.
And sorry about that. Yeah. I was furious at the end of it. So I'm, I wash my hands of anything
J. K. Rowling. Especially since she's been, oh yeah, well I missed this, but I missed that.
I said, you had people begging you to do the right thing with these films. And these books and
these stories, I want to go from the get go. Now, now you want to act like you want to go,
you want to do over. You want to George Lucas it. I never thought I would use George Lucas as a
derogatory term. Fair point. Any other tech notes for you boys? What was that notable death?
The creator of the first video. That was on the front page of MSN today. Oh, that's right. Steven's
got a big Pokemon battle against gaming Justin Flynn of Big Twitch TV. Apparently this is a big deal
with him out there this week. So we want to wish him luck because you know, another champion in
the fold. He's already got his own title belt. So now he can just give his Pokemon title belt.
That would be awesome now. They could make that happen. We're in tech on the course. We're going to say
that Steven. Good luck to you, sir. Looking forward to maybe seeing you next Sunday.
For TCLS. It's weird in the air. All right, gentlemen. Let's get to the list.
All right. We end every show with a list in this week is no exception. However, it ain't me this week.
Chad, go. Well, we've been getting, uh, inundated with Christmas programming already.
I think they're doing like Rudolph on CBS Tuesday night. They did, um, they did Charlie Brown last week.
And you know, and we had our own was like, what the crap to do? We had our own little personal
city celebration of the holiday here wrapped up last night. Unfortunately, under a
very cloud of negativity. Apparently, a hail of gunfire. Um, so when you
hey, I'll more of a smatter. It's just drizzling your gunfire. Um, it's kind of like when you see
they mix to good with the bad. Well, you come up with a list like what I came, what what I stumbled across.
There enough. Um, everybody has their go to holiday films. As I do Christmas story,
Christmas vacation done, then you've got the list of films that you avoid like the plague if you
can. Now, some of these I have seen. It's a wonderful life. Uh, done. Some of these I have not because
I, once I saw, you know, I'm sorry, but every now and then you can judge a book by it's cover.
There enough. You can see the people involved. You can see the trailer. I'm like, no, I'm out on that.
Um, a little research. And I saw some of the ratings that these films got on IMDB and Rotten
tomatoes. I'm like, yeah, these are things that we just need to. These are Christmas mines of
a film that you just want to step around. No particular order. Number 10, and this may get me into
some hot water, but I thought it was a piece of junk was jink all the way. I was never a fan.
It was okay at best. I watched part of it when I think Christmas films, I don't think sinbad. No,
or Schwarzenegger or Jake Lowe. Come with me if you want to buy toys.
And of course, Jake Lloyd, yet being through the hole. Was it Rita Wilson? Was that who's in it?
I think only bright spot. Was she in it? She the the wife of Mrs. Tom Hanks. Yeah.
Oh, look at that. Give me a minute. While you're, while you're looking that up.
Uh, number nine, I'll be home for Christmas. Do you remember this thing? The Jonathan Taylor Thomas movie
where he had to drive across country. Rita Wilson wasn't it? Yes, did call it. It's like he figured,
well, my TV dad. Jessica Biel was in. Yeah. Yep. A college student experiences difficulty
in getting home for Christmas after being hazed by his friends. While struggling to get home
in time for Christmas, he learns quite a bit about himself and the true meaning of the holiday.
Gary Cole is in this. And we're going to need you to do another bad film.
Just do Leslie Boone, who's on one of my favorite shows ever? Ed is in this.
They got like a whopping 5.3 on IMDB. They did out of 10.
Number eight surviving Christmas right there in the middle of the half like slungers.
I mean, you had Gandalfini in this thing.
Oh, yeah, even even he can't see the apple gates.
Josh Zuckerman, Bill Macy, not, not V, or Macy, not that, not the age. We don't care is in this.
Oh, you poor soul. He's just, who is this lawyer? This is when FLEX career was just an
Steven Root. Bad film after bad film after bad film.
Somebody named Tumbleweed plays Santa. What? But it says to your God. Wow.
Number seven. What did who is playing this? Is this Hendrix? This Hendrix? Wow.
Number seven, deck the halls.
With the broad drinking of the Vito. With one of the most uncomfortable trailer scenes in the history of
ever the part where the girls were dancing on stage. You're like, woo! And it's our daughters.
Yeah, did not need that in the trailer. With the two Christians, Chenoweth and Davis. Yep.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, a shockwad from a, a rest of development is in this.
George Garcia from Lost Fred Armisen.
Susan Pock from MTV.
She's probably having to have that one back.
I go ahead. This is so strange. Just hearing this rendition here.
Interesting courtesy of friend of the showstone.
Number six Fred Clause. Oh, dear. Wasn't this, um, yeah, Vince Vaughn. It's fine.
G. A moddies in this. I believe Elizabeth Banks, John Michael Higgins, Miranda Richardson, Rachel,
Vice Kathy Bates, Trevor Peacock, ludicrous.
And believe me, we are not done with Mr. Vaughn. Kevin Spacey.
Fred Clause's Fred Clause, Santa's bitter older brother is forced to move to the North Pole.
I got through about 15 minutes of this and I was like,
and I stuck with it and I was like, we are not, we are not off to a good start and it just
knows die from there. Speaking of nose dives, a franchise that started out really strong and then just
ended on a really bad note Santa Clause 3. Santa Clause. Yeah, uh, the escape clause with Martin
short as Jack Frost. I saw this at the driving, but you wanted those couple hours back.
Sam Allen, Martin shorts, Judge Ryan Hold, Spencer Brezlin. As is, yeah, that was Anne Margaret,
Allen Arkin, Abigail Brezlin. Oh, wait, yes, Spencer Brezlin. I guess that was, I think that was the
is the lead elf, one of the lead elves. Art Le Floor, Iyisha Tyler, Kevin Pollock, J Thomas,
Michael Dorne, Peter Boyle. Wow, just if this everything that could go wrong with this franchise
did, it culminated in this film. Number four, we returned events Vaughn with four Christmas's
with a recent witherspoon, Marystein virgin and Robert Duval. I hate it that movie. This is
his SpaceX John Voite, John Favro Dwight, Yolkham Tim McGraw, the aforementioned Christian
channel with Katie Mixing, who I'm a fan of. Yeah, and just bad all around. Then we have another
Tim Allen clunker. Okay, Christmas with the cranks. People want to watch that all the time,
and I just want to slap them. And this came out we Curtis, I remember this came out right at the
same time as surviving Christmas did. And everybody got it confused. They never knew which one they
were going to go to. Anne Akroyd, M M L M M M M It Walsh, Christmas soul. Eric Perselevin, who's on that
in the middle. Chief Marin, Jake Bucy, Austin Pendleton, Tom Posten, Caroline Ray, Felicity,
Hoffman, it's amazing. How much star power you can put into crap? It wasn't Felicity,
husband, they're daughter and wouldn't that the whole crux of this was that they decided to just
blow Christmas off because their daughter decides not to come over with their daughter away,
their her parents decide to skip Christmas altogether until she decides to come home,
causing an uproar when they have to celebrate the holidays at the last minute. And they
have to put the lights on the house and all that. Right. They're the only house on the block.
I think he did. He had his teeth white and then he got Botox or something else.
Number two, I watched this again yesterday. Okay. You want to talk about a film that did not
age well at all. Santa Claus the movie with Dudley Moore and John Lithgow. Oh wow. David Huddleston
is Santa Claus and Burgess Meredith is the late elf. The first half of it actually not that
bad because you're basically getting the origin story of Santa Claus. But once it jumps over
just Meredith, Judy Cornwell, Jeffrey Cramer. You know that is who Jeffy Cramer is? Another name.
He was uh uh uh Brote Sheriff Brotey's right hand deputy in jaws. Okay. He's become like a pretty
successful director in his own right. Number one. So probably not come as a shock to you.
Tyler Perry's a Medea Christmas. Now believe me, I wanted to put Jingle all the way to on
this list as well. She had Michael Murray, Larry the cable guy because of that reason. Yes.
Kathy Nijimi, Alicia Whitts. Yes, and yes. Lisa Welchow is in this. Oh dear Lord.
Caroline Kennedy. Oh, let's see. That's about all of it. I really don't need to say anything else about
Medea dispenses her unique form of holiday spirit on a rural town when she's coaxing at
helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas. Hallelujah.
And Megan actually got mad at me when I put this on. You had to see that movie and I want to see
it. I'm going to say that I got it and this is a text I got from Steven. So this is not coming
from me. One of his honorable mentions is a nightmare before Christmas. There are people that
feel that way. I could have taken it myself. I could have taken it myself. I like it. But I consider
more of a Halloween film in a Christmas film, even though Christmas is in the title. But I watched
that movie for Halloween, not for Christmas. But that's just me because, you know, see it's a bad
Christmas movie. If you're watching it on Halloween, terrible. Because it can, it can. And as much
as I liked it when it first came out, it has an age well for me is the Jim Carrey Grinch.
I loved it when it first came out. And it just, I wouldn't put it on a worst list, but it has an age
well. No, I just, I know, the more the years go on the less I really care about it. A lot of the
jokes get kind of feel like they're quite a bit dated. And then you look at Taylor moms and now when you go
out, you're gone. Anything you would add? No, because I actively avoid most of those. I'll only watch
white Christmas. That's the only one you watch. And you have to watch a Christmas story. Oh yeah.
Christmas story and National Anthem, I watch every year. Because we've got over this list before
and I know that I try to get, I tend to get a little bit unconventional because, and my father
fought me on this, I always put diehard and lethal weapon. Both Christmas films and diehard, too.
Yeah. Yeah. And he's like, that's not a Christmas film. I'm like, it takes place in Christmas and
that there's anything that always drives a Christmas film. It's family togetherness. And if you
can't look at John McClain fighting his way through that skyscraper to get to his wife,
to something wrong. Another one that's not aged well for me, home alone.
I started putting home alone three on this list, considering that McColle Colkan would even come back
for that. Yeah. The first one just, I loved it when it first came out, but I watched it recently.
And I was like, this doesn't really hold up. And to me, I always thought that the, the screaming
at Kevin at the very end of it, when you have this really sweet sentimental moment at the end of
both one and two, like when the, you know, the old man finally gets to see his granddaughter on Christmas,
you know, I was like, man, you just threw a cold bucket of water on what could have been a really
sweet ending. You didn't, you didn't have to force that laugh because he wasn't funny. That movie has to,
it has to be cold outside for me to watch that movie period. Otherwise, I just don't believe it.
Well, that, you could say that about a lot of these films. So that kind of loses his atmosphere.
Anything else? Uh, and I, I've been trying to throw Grimmlin's back into the mix, too, because
that's a Christmas movie. Yeah. But that's just me. But not Grimmlin's, too. No, no, no.
