Keep it going now.
Tell it.
Good evening.
It is 702 on the East Coast.
It is 402 on the West Coast.
It is the second of March in the year of our Lord 2014.
It is season 4 episode 33, numerically episode 209, the clubhouse's live on the air.
We welcome each and every one of you individually.
We don't care how you listen.
We're just glad you're here.
Whether you're listening live right here on your stream.
Whether you listen on our archive, which if you did last week, we appreciate that.
Whether you subscribe on iTunes.
Maybe you do a combination.
We appreciate each and every way you listen.
My name is Robin.
My new motto is, if you live in Texas, never, ever put away any form of seasonal clothes.
If you live in this area, the Dallas-Port Worth area, you know what we're dealing with today.
If not, go check the weather channel.
Joining me across the desk as he tends to do from time to time.
He is my co-host.
He's the co-producer of this show.
And he is a man who broke my heart today when he said he is sick of country burger.
And that is sacrilege.
He is chat.
I've been sick of country burger for a while.
I told you a couple weeks ago.
We couldn't make it any less sacrilege there.
It's like, just can't do it anymore.
So yesterday I'm driving around.
It's 76 degrees.
Maybe just a little clouds in the sky.
Got the windows down.
Got the radio up.
And now today it's 22 degrees and sleet and freaking the cats out.
Pretty much.
It's just the cat.
I'm in my sweat again.
Got the thermal on underneath the t-shirt.
I'm like, that's nice.
Such to be able to people that bought their six flags season pass tickets.
I'm literally just turned the heaters off last night.
I had a ceiling fan's working.
Walk up this morning.
I had icicles hanging off my nose.
What the heck happened here?
Well, we are guestless tonight for that reason.
We decided that it was the conditions outside.
We didn't want anybody out there to didn't have to be.
So we do this every once again.
We like having guests in studio, but every once in a while.
We just do a show with just the two of us for you guys to enjoy.
I see Russ is already in the chat room.
Good to see you, sir.
Great having seen him last week at Fox and Hound for elimination.
Chamber.
We're on the long stretch.
A very long stretch.
On the road to WrestleMania as a kid's like saying we'll talk about that later.
But we start every show with corrections.
Again, thanks to everywhere that came out last week to Fox and Hound for elimination chamber.
It was.
What it was.
We always have a great time though.
Regardless of the quality of the paper view, you can't beat it for five bucks.
We always have a great time seeing the Empire.
We filled up both rooms again for a non-major,
which is great.
And I'm just going to go ahead and say if you're going to come hang out with us for WrestleMania,
April 6th.
You better go straight from church.
Because it's, if the last two paper views are any indication of what
Mania's going to be like, you best get ready.
Yeah.
Your lovely wife who is a British descent also in the chat room currently, sir.
But the show was clean last week.
I mean, apart from the cheering of playing the stereo's career.
Oh, wow.
That was even funny around the playback.
I'm just going to go ahead and say it.
Unless it really is doing it.
So let's get into some NASCAR.
Oh, by the way, the world's most interesting man.
The most interesting man, the world says I don't always experience four seasons in two days,
but when I do, it's in Texas.
Yeah, line.
So last week was the day tone of 500.
We got to Fox and Hound to set up.
And I was like, why are we not showing the race?
Funny you should ask is this is the only sport that starts with the Super Bowl and
speaking of crazy weather.
I found out later on that evening that's.
They were having tornado warnings in Dayton and they were told that the race was delayed.
The race didn't end until after midnight Eastern time.
I don't mind.
When Dale Earnhardt Jr. went at the day tone of 500 for the first time in 11 years.
Uh, I just don't.
People were talking about well, maybe we'll finish it tomorrow.
You can't do that.
No, because you have people that have travel plans.
That maybe can't afford to stay another day and they want to see the end of the race.
But the last few years even having problems like it was the Daytona.
The funny thing to me was at a certain point they just cut the showing last year's race.
And people were tweeting to Jimmy Johnson congratulating him on another win.
He's like, guys, you're watching last year's race.
And they like every 30 seconds they were putting it on the screen.
This is the 2013 Daytona 500.
And as they said on Bob and Tom,
not helping to not perpetuate this.
Look, congratulations to Dale Earnhardt Jr.
for winning the Daytona 500.
He also had the fastest car in practice this week.
Uh, so there's that right now Phoenix is going, I mean,
I'm one page on NASCAR dot com is showing that it's done the other one showing that it's not.
But they're saying Harvick wins for the first the fifth time at Phoenix today.
Let me stuff you do a refresh on the page here and see if I can get to some actual results.
I just got that app a couple weeks ago and I haven't had chance to try it.
I guess now it would be a good time.
Yeah, you may want to check down.
Yeah, sure.
Because this is a boot that I'm on the NASCAR website.
And so I don't know.
Okay, so then my Google Chrome crashes.
So there's that there with me.
Let me fire this thing up.
But I'm showing Kevin Harvick does win at Phoenix.
Well, let me see.
I'm trying to see if I can get you guys a full top 10 finisher's.
And NASCAR dot com is still nuts.
I guess it's to be expected during race day or something.
No, because usually by the time we go on air for a day race,
because this was a two o'clock race.
Here we go.
Now we've got results.
I just got on there about five minutes too early.
I guess.
I'm still getting the spinning wheel of loading.
Your top 10 finisher's are 10th place.
Jamie McMurray.
In the number one Chevrolet.
Kyle Bush in ninth.
Carl back flip Edwards in eight.
Ryan.
Hello.
Newman.
In seventh.
Jimmy.
Five time.
I'm sorry.
Six times six times six times six time.
Spring Cup champion Jimmy Johnson.
That just doesn't sound the same.
No, it doesn't.
Comes in six.
Jeff Gordon in fifth.
Joey Logano in fourth.
Chad's favorite driver.
Brad Kussowski.
Comes in at the bronze medal.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Wins last week.
Second place this week.
Now, according to barb wire, he and I had a conversation last night.
Part of the chase now is if you win a race,
you're eligible for the chase.
Oh, that would kind of make sense.
But there's only 16 cars in the chase.
I said to him, I said, dude, how is what if you have more than 16 people win races?
There's 26 races.
He says, you know how many times that's happened since the inception of
NASCAR.
Three.
Really.
Hmm.
So if you have less than 16 winners, then you go to your point system to fill
in the holes.
Much like my proposal is for college football.
When you're conference, you get in and then you use the BCS to fill
in the whole space.
And winning, of course, Kevin Harvick in the number four Chevrolet.
He started in 13.
Brad Kesselowski was set up.
He was the pole and he came in third.
So we're in a good race.
So he and Dale are tied for points right now.
I might even worry about points.
I might even do a points until probably after the Texas race.
Which, by the way, the first Texas race this year has changed names again.
It's now the duck commander 500.
So that's what we're going to see making more money.
No.
No.
No.
Those are two completely different corporate entities.
I thought those were the guys that only duck commander.
Duck commander is the product line.
Duck dynasty is the show.
Right.
Those are two different things.
Duck dynasty.
The.
That was that money.
But I'm just saying.
They made the money.
But I still wanted the same.
The same person now.
Next week, we go to Vegas with my.
One of my favorite trophies of the year because you got a boxing belt for
winning the Vegas race for the cobalt 400.
Next Sunday at three Eastern on your local Fox affiliate.
Because no, it's not football season.
So box got to put something out there.
And then ESPN will take over probably when baseball picks up again.
Sometimes it's baseball sometimes it's football.
I think it's usually right at the halfway mark.
So there is that.
You're almost into the clubhouse.
We are live every Sunday night.
Seven Eastern for Pacific.
If you miss any section of the show as long as I remember to click the button.
It is available on our guide shortly after.
Let's get into a little bit of TV talking.
Because we are your one stop shop for all things sports and entertainment.
Brook, Burke, Charvee.
Wife of David, Charvee.
Formerly of Baywatch fame is out on dancing with the stars.
Being replaced by the Aaron Andrews, which I know you are a huge fan of.
Been a big fan of the Aaron Andrews for many, many years.
Not that I'm not a fan of the Brook.
Pretty girl.
But you know who it from the local girl.
I remember when she worked for Sunshine Network coming to Tampa Bay Lightning.
She's from here?
No.
She's from my home state.
Okay.
Say home town going.
You live here.
Now you may be saying to yourself, Rob, who's going to be on dancing with the stars this year?
I have to know.
I don't know yet.
We're not going to know until Tuesday morning when Good Morning America will announce the cast.
I'm not asking that because I don't really need to know.
Watch that thing.
I'm going to need to meet the minds for just a second.
But again, you will have your new cast for dancing with the stars will be unveiled Tuesday morning.
So keep an eye out for that.
Oh.
Wow.
Rush just gave us some breaking news in the chat room.
I know who this is now.
Jim Lane.
Oh yeah.
Original host of the dating game passed away at the age of 81.
Actually, I'm just two days ago.
It's what it came down.
I'm sorry.
How do I miss that on Friday?
This is February 25th.
That would be last Tuesday.
But last week, the great Jim Lane passed away.
But then he also liked.
He did some work with the match game and the dating game is what he was mainly.
He was the first host of the dating game.
Right.
The guy that.
I mean, I know that I see him.
Yeah, I remember this guy.
Very funny gentleman.
I remember the bow tie.
Kind of one of those guys that.
He tried to be the straight man.
But he always ended up just losing it.
Whenever one of the celebrities would laugh for someone that would newly
would say something funny.
Just always seemed like a guy that you could hang out and have a beer with.
Okay.
Here's his other game shows included $100,000 name that tune.
But they do combine the pyramid.
The one million dollar chance of a lifetime.
Hollywood connection.
Bulls eye and the ABC version of their Miller Bulls eye as do eye.
As well as short live shows including spin off triple threat and give and take.
He also appeared as himself on be witched.
Leverning surely.
The super Mario brother super show.
Okay.
I can't do well.
Bano baby.
Parker Lewis can't lose.
Great show.
And Moisha.
Mode to the eat to the.
And he appeared as a celebrity player on Scrabble during their 1988 Game Show host week and on Hollywood
Squares for their Game Show week in December of O2.
Wow.
He will be missed.
Mm-hmm.
Moving on to some news that kind of took you off guard and I don't know how I feel about this.
2015 get ready for heroes reborn.
It'll be a 13 episode series.
Tim Keering is on board.
No word about Jeff Loeb.
Is that how you pronounce Tim's last name?
That's what I'm going with.
That was just cring.
I didn't know there was an iron.
I think there's an extra eye.
I was just K-I-R-I and G-I pretty sure.
That was just K-R-I I do.
Um.
They have not said it if it's going to be a continued storyline but being reborn I'm assuming
it's a new storyline.
There's going to be an online companion.
Can I use the word trepidation?
Because the last two seasons of that show were so horrible.
Season two was where the wheels were kind of wobbling.
Oh yeah.
And then we let's just open season three with just driving on the axles for two years.
So painful.
It hurt me to watch Jeff Loeb the show was over.
You should have just called it right there.
The side chill carnival thing was just beaten into our heads.
And my problem.
My thing with that was there were some really good actors in that storyline.
It was just a bad storyline.
Yeah.
As Steve Austin likes to say they were trying to make chicken salad and chicken poop and they couldn't
do it.
You think those words obviously.
Not exactly.
Oh.
Charlotte's joined us in the chat room.
And she said hello.
Because she wanted to use the her misses out by her voice.
We miss you girl.
I know.
Me too.
Me too.
See her very very smooth.
No, it's just cring.
Okay.
Okay.
This cring.
So he's related to Santa.
Oh, that'd be cringle.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I apologize.
So, you know, they just did a teaser for it.
I'm assuming there's not even a script yet.
That was, it was during the Olympics.
I'm a heart about leaped out of my chair.
Yeah.
I heard about it the day before you actually saw it.
But.
Man.
I don't know.
What am I saying?
I'll watch it again.
I'm still watching each of those shields.
So you know what I'll watch it.
But you know what a better.
It's just she'll get a little better.
We're going to talk about that here in a while.
I wonder if maybe wind in Lisa are going to be involved in the score again.
Did a great job.
Well, great job.
So he did after heroes touch.
They also did that one.
Did he have it?
Yes.
He had the touch.
He had the power.
Walked right into that.
Yes.
You did.
Jay Leno shows up on the Arsenio Hall show this past week with a letter saying that the CW has renewed
the Arsenio Hall show for another year.
Leno gave him the letter of renewal during the monologue.
Wow.
David Bigel hug and that whole thing.
Well, that's a leap of faith.
But he interviewed Clarice Leachman on Thursday's episode.
I had to fast forward it.
It was just getting creepy.
I'll have to explain why later.
Okay.
I have my own reasons for being someone excited about an episode of Arsenio this week.
Yes.
But we're going to talk about that in another segment.
Gotcha.
Mark your DVR's March 18th is a Tuesday at 8 o'clock Eastern in the normal agents of shield time slot.
ABC is going to air a special behind the scene special about all things marvel.
I believe it's a one hour special.
They will be featuring agents of shield Captain America, the winner soldier.
Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers Age of Ultron.
So all things marvel or all things face to including ages of shield.
Let's just say all things marvel studio.
That's a little bit.
That's a pretty broad brush.
Although we may be joining the gun a little bit here with a little movie talk.
I read today that both Garfield and Web want a Spidey Avengers crossover.
Just because they want it doesn't mean it's going to happen with all the legal wrangling that goes on.
But that'd be great.
I don't think that would take much to do.
I wouldn't think so, but Sony's been a real personality about their property on this thing.
Well, Marvel puts their name on it too.
That's all I'm saying.
This is true.
And the see one hour season finale of Parks and Rec on April 24th will feature the first lady.
She is everywhere lately.
We talked about her on the, the LeBron James thing.
That video was hilarious.
What is her connection to this show?
Is she just that big of a fan and she contacted the producers or something?
She's on some kind of initiative to help kids get in shape.
She's just going wherever the date will take her.
She's been real big on a school lunch program about offering healthy alternatives.
I saw that every week.
Like her.
She does good things.
Good.
Good.
How did I know this was.
So as I saw this story of like,
What a song he's going to use here.
What else would you use?
Nothing.
VH1 has canceled.
This, the show.
This was named sake is the name sake of this song.
Single ladies is I saw a clip from this.
How upset are you that this is going?
Oh.
Is there any such a thing as negative?
Not at all.
Hey, maybe you can show videos now for it out.
Oh, wait a minute.
Talk about the H1.
Nope.
No.
Too many other reality shows.
If you're on a marginally successful pseudo reality,
maybe African American TV show, you can get on our senior.
Wow.
I cannot tell you how many of these shows,
whether it's the Braxton's,
it's single ladies,
things of its ilk,
that real housewives of whatever city it's in this week.
You'll get on our senior.
And ilk is a very operative word here.
It's just, I don't know.
That shows getting harder and harder for you to watch.
But I know you'll be watching it on Wednesday night.
We're going to talk about that here in a little while.
You're listening to the clubhouse podcast.
Please visit our website,
www.theclabhousepodcast.com.
You've been having some problems logging in the last few days.
I got an email from Wix this morning saying they've been having some problems.
But it should be a backup and running again tomorrow.
And there will be either today or tomorrow.
We'll have a new review,
movie review up for you of a movie I screen last week.
But it was just me.
So doing the special auditions,
been a little bit difficult getting somebody to be here with me.
So there's that basketball.
I was another example.
Charles is exactly exactly right.
Let's move on.
Do a little P.O.I.
P.O.I.
Since we're a person of interest.
It is a segment we do on this particular show.
Where we take a person or an entity.
We debate the greatness of that or the lack of their of.
The pendulum swings back to me this week.
And we're going to talk about something that's.
I don't know how much input you're going to have.
But I know that you can help me carry this thing.
I took a shot at it.
Last Monday.
The WWE Network went live.
I signed up Monday morning.
You know, I, I, I, I, I,
I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
I was having some some dental work done.
So I had to take the day off because she was highly sedated to do so.
So I made sure I got on the website and signed up.
And it, you know, it was already live.
Like, there was already programs.
You could see.
But the first live program wouldn't be until after raw.
It wasn't really live anyway.
But still.
A lot of people having a lot of problems with this thing.
Now you were there with me when I fired the thing up.
Uh-huh.
The video.
I watched, I looked at it on my iPad.
Looks great.
I caught it right in the middle of an NXT special they were doing.
The video looks great.
There was one program.
I wanted, I wanted to watch a WrestleMania rewind.
No, it was countdown.
But I couldn't get to and I don't know why.
Because my concern was, well, if you're going to schedule this programming.
Can I watch it when it's not that time?
And you can.
You don't have to watch it when it airs live,
but you also have the opportunity if you want to watch it when it airs live,
which still makes sense to me.
But I didn't have any problem pulling up.
Like I pulled up the hell in a cell that we went to.
And was that?
2010 out of the gate.
I had no problem pulling that up.
But apparently.
Looks great.
Xbox 360 users have been having a horrible time.
I can't want to bring my over here.
So we can test it out.
And they've had to release a statement saying we're working on it.
Please bear with us.
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Another thing I found interesting.
And I don't know if we didn't talk about this on the show last week.
If you went through, if you have like an Apple TV and you signed up through iTunes,
they charged.
Because when we were talking about the six month commitment thing,
you paid the whole 60 at one time.
Whereas if you go through the website, it's 999 a month.
No taxes by the way.
That's good.
It came up on my bank account as 999.
But if people let heads up on stuff like that, man.
Seriously.
I don't mean to say smartest man alive.
But what did I say on this show the last two weeks about the network?
This is going to turn into a major game release date or a major system release date
where you're going to crash the servers on that first day if you don't beta test this thing right.
Yep.
And guess what's happening?
That's exactly what happened.
Crashed it on day one.
To the surprise of pretty much nobody.
I think it's probably going to be another 30 to 60 days before there's not issues.
That long.
And the fact that you if you have an Xbox one, you're out of what anyway.
Yeah, that's I still find that hard to believe.
That's not going to be till this summer and my smart TV.
Unless you have a Samsung smart TV, you can't get it until this summer.
And if you don't live in Merke, although somebody found a mirror site that you can get to.
That you don't live in America, you can still get it.
Really?
Yep.
And same user can use two.
It can use like I can have one and then you can use a mine at the same time.
Okay.
But only two users at one time simultaneously.
Correct.
You can use it on multiple devices.
But only two can be logged in at the same time.
Okay.
That's kind of cool.
I said it's like oh my god.
Geez.
I love my sister.
I was waiting for that.
I was waiting for somebody to say that.
It's it's been very tough.
Just like we knew it would be.
You know, I just my whole thing is.
I still have issue that it's not on a cable provider.
But I think what a lot of them said that I think a lot of the trepidation that's
There's that word again from the providers was way way way way way way way.
For 10 bucks, you're going to give them the pay for views.
No.
Now we haven't done the deal yet where we experiment with hooking my iPad up to my TV to see how it looks.
And you don't have that cable to you.
No.
Because I've got the one that you gave me.
But that's for the old.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it would mean high deaf anyway.
Right.
Because that's what.
Red white yellow.
Red red yellow.
So so anyone wants to buy me a cable that'll go from my iPad to, you know, to an HDMI that'd be great.
Um, we see what that runs for.
I'm just curious.
I still I still I haven't lost hope in it yet.
I think it can still be great.
What model is yours?
By the way, the three.
The four I believe because it was called the new iPad.
So I think that's the four.
I don't remember off hand.
It's the one two years ago.
Or year and a half now, I guess.
I still think they can write the shift with this thing.
I have not seen sales numbers yet, though.
Very interested in that.
To see how many people they had signed up that first day.
I'm hearing a lot of people complain that they're not.
They can't find everything they want.
Um.
I mean, I haven't really had a chance to dig into it.
Real deeply.
But I'm going to be interested to see how things go for the next few weeks.
Twenty bucks, by the way.
For the cable.
Hmm.
Hmm.
That's not bad.
Not nearly as much as I thought.
It's just it's got your serial port out and your charge port out.
And it's got a little HDMI adapter on it.
It does.
It's not a full-fledged cable.
But then that's may not be the right thing.
No, because I'd have to have a cable because I'm not just going to put my iPad.
Oh no, it's got the female in and then you could put an HDMI cable into that.
And then into the gig.
Oh, I see what you're saying.
We can do that, though.
Just put an HDMI cable to it.
Yeah.
But it is 720p.
So we just have to see how that looks.
Yeah.
I don't know that you would notice it all that much from 720p to 1080p.
Well, that would also depend on how it looks from the iPad too.
This is true.
And how good your connection was.
But you just boosted yours, didn't you?
Yes.
You got a huge, like, kind of up to your signal string.
A little bit.
A little bit.
Got a great deal going with AT&T viewers right now.
If you up your internet, you get like five bucks off a month for six months.
Definitely worth investigating.
We will give you another report of this as time goes on.
But I think my initial experience hasn't been bad.
But then again, I'm not all, I mean, this, this, this squeaky wheel doesn't get the grease.
You know what I mean?
I mean, I mean, you're always going to see the detractors out there.
Oh, it doesn't work for me.
That worked for me.
Well, I'm not you.
It didn't work for me.
Because I tried, I signed it for the one week free trial.
And everything I would click on video not available.
But you were also on the internet, though.
You weren't using it through it through any other device.
Correct.
Yeah, we just on the left.
Just on the left.
Yeah, okay.
I was surprised.
He didn't give you some kind of an app that you could use for.
And the window.
Yeah, I was kind of too.
I was looking for it, but I didn't see anything.
Because that's the first place I checked.
Let us move on.
Do a little bit of.
That's not what I wanted.
I wanted this one.
It's not a gun.
That was the best way to do the more of the plugs.

Let's talk a little, uh, NBA.
The NBA makes history this week.
The very first openly gay player.
Playing in an actual game as Jason Collins signs a 10.
Day contract with the Brooklyn Nets.
I almost said New York.
Oops.
I, uh, New Jersey.
I, I still can't get used to Brooklyn Nets.
It just doesn't roll off the tongue.
I can't wrap my head around it.
And I'm trying.
What is going on here?
Oh, what is going on here?
Oh, what is going on here?
Huh.
I'm having to do something else here because something is wrong with the way Yahoo does.
What it does.
Because if I go to their sports from one link, it gives you one thing.
And if I go to sports from another link, it looks completely different.
It actually looks better than their new version.
Give me just one second.
And I will be there.
LeBron also breaks his nose and comes out with a big batman mask.
Very interesting.
It was like kind of a stretchy fiber.
That was like, is it like a Kevlar mask now?
Uh, kind of, but I think it's like a carbon fiber weave or something.
It looks, it looks cool.
I don't, if I'd be able to, uh,
It's a, to breathe.
It moved me kind of claustrophobic.
But, you know, that's just me.
Ah, that's it.
Oh, let's see what we got going on here.
And Yahoo just changed everything around.
And it's just really hard to see anything anymore.
See if that will help me.
There we go.
Now we got it.
We're good.
Western conference.
Northwest division, the Utah Jazz,
whose president is going to be on, uh, undercover boss.
Really?
Or was this past week?
Charles says it's the carbon fiber weave.
She affects husband weave.
He doesn't have a receiving hearing.
Good ball.
But their presence on undercover boss.
He doesn't really do much because they're 21 and 37.
They're 22 and a half games back.
Denver is four games better than them.
Minnesota in the middle of the pack 14 and a half back.
Right now Portland trails Oklahoma City by three games.
In the Pacific division.
Sacramento, is still tied with the Lakers for last place.
Sacramento's lost their last three straight.
Buenix is in the middle of the packet eight and a half.
Nine and a half back.
Golden state is now eight and a half back on the or four and a half
back on the clippers.
To clippers holding steady.
They really, really are in the Southwest division.
New Orleans, who unveiled another scary mascot this week.
I don't know if you saw this.
No.
Could you know, Marty Gross this week?
Right.
They had King Baby mascot.
That we're almost as creepy as the Pelican mascot.
I don't know.
But it's not helping there be 13 games below 500 is or 19 and a half
back in the division.
Memphis nine games back.
Dallas, middle of the pack.
Seven games back.
Houston right now two and a half back on San Antonio.
Did you see the genobly footage this week?
No.
Believe it was Wednesday night.
Genobly cuts to his right.
Whole bottom of a shoe blows out.
Sock right through.
Nike probably not really.
Now about that in the eastern conference.
Atlantic division.
Philadelphia 15 and 44.
How are you 15 and 44 and you're only 18 games back?
I don't know what that's saying for a minute.
They've lost their last 13 straight.
At least taking it.
At least taking it, sir.
Think they're doing it on purpose.
Just to get a better grip.
The theory is yes.
Boston is four and a half games better than them.
The Nicarbockers 12 and a half back in middle of the pack.
Brooklyn now four games back.
Let me just say this again.
Brooklyn four games back on the Toronto Raptors in March.
33 and 26 in the central division.
Millawoke.
By the way, middleawoke is four games worse than Philly.
They're 11 and 47.
Detroit.
Detroit, who's lost their last four straight and are three and seven in their last 10.
They are.
What about eight games better than them?
Cleveland is tied with Detroit.
Chicago is now 12 and a half back on Indiana.
Indiana is playing ball.
Now we did have Hispanic heritage day today in the NBA in some places.
But why did Chicago's Jersey say Los Bulls?
Los Bulls.
Wouldn't it be Los Toronto?
Yes.
I mean, I took two years of school Spanish.
But even I know that.
It's like Los Mabs.
Los Rangers.
Really?
They don't do those cowboys.
They don't do those bikeros when they do theirs.
It's like my Spanish accent there.
Yes, very well.
Thank you very much.
And in the southeast division.
Orlando 18 and 43.
They're 26 and a half games back.
Atlanta is 10 games better than them.
And right now, the Washington Wizards are 14 and a half back on the heat.
The heat are 40 to 14.
They've won their last seven straight.
This is the time of year.
You have to heat up because we're getting close.
All right.
Not on purpose.
But yes.
Okay.
That is not much else going on the NBA this week.
Kind of a slow week overall for the niba.
Who's going to start pronouncing things right now?
The niba.
Maybe a little catch on.
You always do the clubhouse podcast.
We are your one stop shop for all things sports and entertainment.
Let's move on to music and we're going to bring it down for just a minute.
You said that right.
It's hard to turn the mics back.
We have a vacuum deals that to a lot of people may not be a big deal.
But to me it is Thursday morning.
I got to work and if you know anything about this show, you know, I'm a huge fan of the
Bob and Tom show out of Indianapolis.
I've listened to them for almost 25 years.
I heard of them first in college and lost my way with them for a while.
And then after I moved to Texas, we'll be able to start getting more of their CDs.
A lot of comedians kind of made their mark on the Bob and Tom show.
And we lost a big one.
Thursday morning as I get to work on the front page of the Bob and Tom show.
I did see that the world of comedy lost the great Tim Wilson.
He was visiting with his brother in Atlanta, with his brother who happened to be an EMT.
Said he wasn't feeling well.
And his brother tried his best to, you know, figure out what was going on.
And so I took the hospital and he had passed away of a heart attack by the time they got to the hospital.
Kill me.
As I said on both Twitter and Facebook on Thursday, if you don't know who he is, go look him up
and if you do, go look him up again.
He was cowboy comedy before cowboy comedy was cool.
And I don't picture him that way.
The accent is one thing, but just, uh, you can't have transcended that.
Born August 5th, 1961 released as more and more than a dozen comedy albums, including several for capital records.
He did meet he was on the tonight show.
He also appeared on Ron White's comedy salute to the troops.
His last special was on something called Billy Gardell's Road Dogs on Showtime.
If you don't know who Billy Gardell was, he plays Mike on Mike and Molly.
And Billy Gardell will tell you, he made me.
He got me on with his manager, would nobody would give me a chance.
Road a book about Ted Bundy.
If you go back.
That's right.
I do remember that.
Go back here.
I believe it's episode 50 of Off the Air with Chick McGee, where they interview him.
This guy has done more research on this.
It'll blow your mind.
That's a him of all people.
He just wouldn't picture that.
Uh, some people call me the king of useless knowledge.
He makes me look like nothing.
Very funny man.
Um, always traveled in his car.
Which was one of the things they said on Bob and Tom, or he may not have made it to heaven yet.
Cause it might be a road gig and he's still driving to get there.
Always packed very light.
Never packed more than like two outfits to go on a weekend.
Never not funny.
Never.
Never use a credit card.
Yep.
Never use a credit card because you don't want a number attached to him.
Uh, he leaves behind a wife that they everybody called sweetie, including him.
A daughter in her 20s and a son in high school.
We're going to do something on this show that we do not do.
I'll think we've ever done this on this show and not during the show.
Maybe after it.
But for me.
And I'm going to have a selfish moment.
I loved Tim Wilson.
I'm right there with you.
Whenever I saw his name attached to Bob and Tom, I had to make sure I was listening that day.
If I saw his name attached to, I've got two of his albums.
If I saw his name attached to anything, he's the reason that I call the,
he dipped that people like to call it's called Humus.
It's not hummus.
He was married to and is really woman.
He says,
Are you married?
Are you married?
Called him.
I was married.
She told me that was.
That's what it's called.
He had like a little bit more bass in his voice than Ross Perot.
But, uh, I don't know if you think about it.
Same kind of cadence.
I don't know that you've heard this song.
But as I was looking through my Tim Wilson selections,
I came across this one.
It's one of my personal favorites.
And it really doesn't need an introduction.
We're not going to do the one I talked about earlier because I know you know that one.
Right.
But I just want you to hear.
This is a quick two minute deal.
This is Tim Wilson.
Did you name me now?
There are a lot of Richard Bay, Rusty Elson Bay,
all of engordan urn harts me.
Y'allton.
Kinger.
How does he use to say mama wasn't a star?
I'm not born in Calatega.
They're in the stands.
The fans all appeared.
The second eye arrived.
The loudspeakers said the bow is born in France.
We didn't have money for a pass of fire.
So I saw something on the bow.
I'm a good year guy.
I saw him bowing down some of the south.
Born with a takes for racing in my mouth.
She named me down Darrell,
Walter Richard Betty Rusty Elson Bay,
all of engordan urn harts me.
Johnson.
Jr.
I am my first real star.
When I was nine,
I know when mama bowed home.
But you have both hands.
The Winston Cup people said to bow is too young.
Kill a qualified second eye darling.
I know the world that a nine year old child.
And a hundred ninety-second minute time trial.
The man's had mama all to be ashamed.
But by the way, I'm tell us what your name.
I told him to mail Darrell,
Walter Richard Betty Rusty Elson Bay,
all of engordan urn harts me.
Johnson.
Jr.
But you get to just that one.
We'll do one quick more.
One of his most famous bits.
Was about his uncle.
You've heard Smith Wilson.
Or was he called his uncle?
Yes.
And uncle, yes.
He is the Ruby sessions of his generation.
He's been everywhere.
He's done everything.
And here's just one quick taste of that.
Where were you?
December 24th.
One hour BC.
They sent me a 24th.
One hour BC.
Working as a part-time night desk clerk.
Bethlehem is real.
Please call a North Star Motor Locke.
Bucked up out there here in.
Trying to get my seizure,
his poem failed out.
Stuck a coke machine all the same time.
Up to my butt and caffeine reed up to pepper.
Some cartender strolls in with a pregnant wife,
a tired meal and a bad attitude.
Trying to stroll or me into throwing two Roman soldiers at a rude one.
Oh, sit.
I don't engage.
Christ, man, we're in a paper place in Bethlehem.
Tim Wilson.
Dead at 52.
You sir.
You will be horribly horribly hurt for this.
Amen.
Alright, let's get the train back on the tracks.
Robin Fick, Paula Patton.
Don.
Rumors are saying the VMAs never recovered from it.
He says he's trying to get back together with her,
but let me tell you something.
Miley Cyrus.
Paula Patton.
Miley Cyrus.
Paula Patton.
Oh, whom, by the way, you just had a kid with.
They've been dating since they were teenagers.
Yep.
High school sweetheart's kind of thing.
What's that wrestling chant that I'm looking for?
Oh, the one I can't say on the show.
Somebody's in trouble.
It's all I'm saying.
Somebody fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Wait, why?
If you are a fan of sound garden, which I am,
you may want to book some tickets to both either South by Southwest or the iTunes
Music Festival.
They will be playing super unknown in its entirety.
That seems to be the thing now that people are doing.
Not sure those tickets are going to be really easy to come by.
I love you.
South by Southwest is turning into one of those.
You better know somebody.
Yeah, because if you go to play there last year.
Yeah.
Your boy.
We're going to talk about him coming up here in a little while too.
And to pitch play there too.
Where did I put that?
Did I not put that in the right place?
Maybe I didn't put it on the luncheon at all, but we'll go ahead and talk about it.
Wednesday night, our studio hall show.
Prince will be on.
Taking over.
That's what he did last time falling at the Prince take over.
I mean, I DVRed every night anyway, so I'm already there.
Oh, but this time he'll actually speak.
Because both times he was on our signal back in the early incarnation he never talked.
I thought he did on the diamonds of pros one.
No, that memory.
Arsenios.
Yes.
That's right.
That's right.
And I can't remember who was there with Arsenio whenever he was there during the symbol era.
When he did blue light and my name is Prince.
I remember that episode vaguely, but I couldn't tell you.
Remember him taking copies of the reviews of the album.
Throwing them on the floor and spraying lighter fluid on and dropping a match.
Where my name is Prince was ending.
Like so.
Sound garden performing super unknown in its entire.
This seems to be the thing now.
Pick your biggest album just played from the beginning.
Who who really started that?
I mean, it seemed like the first time I remember was was Judas Priest doing it.
The first time I remember him, they made him the first ones to do it.
It's the first ones I remember to, or maybe Fleetwood Magnet.
I was there for Rush doing it for, uh, that's writing pictures.
They reminded me of the time machine.
No, there was people have done it before them.
That's the only one I've ever seen.
Other celebrity couples that are done, John Mayer and Tady Perry are done.
Again, really?
Yes, sir.
That happened.
This was early last week.
And then she's seen Kiss and Miley Cyrus at a concert.
So there's that.
Again, great choice.
I always think John Mayer looks like the kid who played Ben Savage's best friend on Boyne's
World.
So should, let's see, should John Mayer hook up with Paula Patton?
No.
Just ridiculous.
So because John Mayer's been hit by the karma train, enough in this life.
Go look at that list.
Like between him and Justin Timberlake,
I think they've got everybody's female celebrity exemptions covered.
This literally is becoming six degrees of separation.
You ain't lying, sir.
And Miley's always the key here.
New music releases in your local music release.
Outlet place on Tuesday.
For real Williams releases girl.
Right.
Your strong was the name of the kid.
It was from Boyne's World.
Charlotte's picking up the Don Slack tonight.
Apparently Ferrell's already walked the red carpet at the Oscars.
He's rocking the Angus Young Loki left the hat at home.
One of the action that had off their charity.
Oh, is that right?
The one from the RB's logo?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But he releases G-I-R-L this week.
Apparently you can stream it now.
He's, they've been streaming it since Friday.
It's another big thing.
And I'm telling you what, that happy song.
I hope that wins tonight.
Because that could be the most pleasant earworm ever.
Because once you hear it, you can't stop singing it.
But you don't care.
Yeah, but they're up against you, too.
So good luck with that.
I'm good either way on that one.
I like to see Ferrell win that, too.
Just because that song is so great.
Also, Ashanti releases a brand new album called Brave Heart this week.
And the return of these guys.
I love this song.
I love these guys, Ben.
Fuel.
With a brand new album this week called Puppet Strings.
This, this could be my favorite song of theirs right here.
Hammering in my hands.
Imaging heap.
You are old school and indie.
They released sparks.
Alia Michelle from Glee released her album released on Friday.
It's called Lauder.
Another new album from this beautiful lady.
Martina McBride.
Release is everlasting.
Hershey is gorgeous eyes.
They've got that ice blue thing going on.
Oklahoma Zone.
Rick Ross.
Rick Rose.
Release is never mind.
And we are scientists.
Two are a very pop.
They've been dead on Letterman a few times.
Release TV and from say.
This is like my accent there.
Very nice.
I am like.
I'm the Rosetta Stone of my generation.
Please.
Stop.
Stop it.
Get over yourself.
I'll give you a little bit of leeway.
But now you're getting out of hands.
We're really back in.
Oh, really in.
Let us move on.
Talk a little bit of NHL.
Because now the Olympics are over.
The NHL is finally back.
Got a misty Olympics.
Again, that was all you.
I just, I don't know.
It was great, man.
That actually Wagner was on our city of Thursday night.
Not a fan.
Really?
Yeah.
That's the girl to remember.
I told you that story.
A cheap.
Bump the girl that got it.
Got the bronze in Nashville.
That was her.
That was her.
That's pretty girl.
And then she pretty much laid an egg.
But you know what?
I think that her.
Her.
Kind of campaign that she's on right now.
I didn't know.
For the NHLs do the same thing.
You're having NASCAR issues within HL.
No, I heard the same issues I was having with the NBA.
Someone's wrong with you.
I don't know.
She's on a campaign right now.
What I did know until recently.
You had the judges, right?
There's scores were anonymous.
There's, the skaters don't know.
This is why you got this rating.
This is how you got rated.
This is where you made mistakes.
It's all anonymous.
It's just a number.
So she's now on a campaign to change that.
And I'm okay with it.
You know, if I don't win, tell me why.
So I can win again.
You're okay with it, but you don't want to.
I'm okay with the principle.
I didn't think it would matter to you when we were the other.
Well, it kind of shocked me when I found that out.
So it's like, that's kind of crappy.
Well, you know, when did they start throwing at the top in the bottom score?
Well, now you're getting into, because that was a thing here.
I don't know how long they've been doing that, but they were doing that for everything.
Everything.
I call that college.
That's like play day.
Eastern Conference Atlantic Division.
The Buffalo Subways are 60.
They played 60 games.
They're 1834 and eight.
They are by the way, sir.
And I'm sure you'll be happy to this 32 points out of first place.
My Florida Panthers are nine games better than them.
The odor was senators are eight games better than them.
Detroit in the middle of the pack, which I'm sure also makes you happy.
Toronto 72 points Tampa Bay 73 points Montréal with 75 points are four points behind Boston.
Boston's lost.
They're only on a one game losing streak, but they're kind of.
It's getting creeped up on them.
And I guess they find, I guess they lay the end up losing that game.
We watch today because they're in a one game losing streak, because we watched
gameplay fill it for a little while at your place today.
By the time we were leaving, it was not it up four four.
Oh, really?
Yep.
It had like 20 seconds to go, and they nodded it up.
I was like, good Lord, this is never going to end.
And the Metro Pollinson Division.
That's really a thing.
I'm not making that hate that.
The New York Islanders with 54 points are 30 points out of first place.
In the other division, that would put them ahead of Florida and Buffalo.
Carolina is seven points better than them.
Jersey 65 points.
They are 19 points out of first place.
They're tied with Columbus.
Washington, Columbus is in fifth place in the division.
Look at that.
We can't play America's favorite game yet.
Fourth place is the Washington capitals.
Oh, that was the capitals that were playing Philly, not Boston.
Yeah.
Yes.
Yes.
Rangers.
Oh, they, I go looks like they would to overtime.
The Rangers are 15 points out of first place.
Right now, Philly is 14 points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are playing outdoors tonight at Soldier Field in Chicago.
That is so great.
You think you have a problem with this?
More than one outdoor game.
I do because it, to me, the winner classic should be the only one because to me, that's a special thing.
To me, there should be multiple half the season should be played there.
But we live in a world where the NFL wants to add two more teams to the playoffs, too.
So they're true.
That.
In the NHL Western Conference, central division.
The National Predators with 62 points are in dead last place.
They are 26 points out of first place.
The Winnipeg Jets are four points better than them.
They are tied with your Dallas stars, sir, who are 28, 22 and 10.
Minnesota in the middle of the pack.
They are eight games behind Colorado, who is three games behind St. Louis.
St. Louis only two games behind Chicago for first in the division, but they've lost their last two straight.
In the Pacific division.
Edmonton, 48 points.
They are 45 points out of first place.
Calgary is five points better than them.
Phoenix is 12 points better than them, but only one point behind Vancouver.
The LA Kings are 10 points behind San Jose, who are five points behind the mighty ducks of Anahine.
Nobody really going on any major win streak right now from what I can see.
But again, we're getting into crunch time.
Do you also realize, sir, we are two weeks away from March Manus?
God almighty.
It starts a week from this Thursday.
And my, by 40 years, number one in the country.
But you, which a toss date wins again yesterday, but they're not getting the quality wins,
which is why Florida with two losses is number one in the country.
Because we're coming up on the, and now, which a toss date does finish the regular season undefeated.
But now we're going into conference tournaments.
So there's that.
Okay.
You, I was in the clubhouse podcast room, or right now, are next in person appearance.
We'll be WrestleMania 30 at Fox and Hound and Richardson Texas.
April the sixth.
That seems like.
And it's going to be an hour early.
So get ready for that.
Because remember, WrestleMania is a four hour pay per view.
It starts at six central.
So we'll be out there at five central, getting you ready for the showcase of the mortals.
Speaking of which, since we are your one stop shop for all things sports entertainment,
let's combine them and talk a little bit about wrestling.
Rumors of bound right now, that you could have multi person matches for both attack titles and the Davis title for WrestleMania.
Really?
I'm okay with it.
Are we tricking too much stuff up here?
It's, it's WrestleMania.
You know me, I'm okay with change if it works.
And right now, I'm a really nervous about WrestleMania.
As am I, I've been nervous about it.
But you know what?
Maybe we finally get the Usos to be Tag Champs.
We've finally moved the Davis belt.
I hope so.
I, God knows, I hope so.
And I still have a bonus contention with, with Dawn because Dawn was talking about how many chances
they've been given.
They really haven't been given that many chances.
The Usos?
Yes.
Yeah.
I don't know where that came from.
Because it's not like they're screwing anything up.
I don't read any stories about them backstage being disruptive.
They just keep getting screwed.
And I don't know.
My only issue though with them.
Shouldn't have been, because it's like, I don't like that when I say,
Oops.
You say, Oh, because that's not phonetically correct.
It's us.
Oh.
When I say, Oops, you say, Oh.
You're looking for a watch.
I know that is what they do.
I want it when I say, Oh, you say, Oh, so.
But maybe you don't want people going so.
I don't know.
Again, been a bonus contention with me for a while.
You're, you're, you're looking for a logic in wrestling in.
Booking changes in the authority story line.
Vince no longer now coming back to be part of that storyline.
But they have also said they've also stopped talking about Steph as one of the owners of the company.
So are we setting up an Austin McMahon thing with Daniel Bryan Triple H?
Hmm.
I'm not sure if I'm feeling that.
That's what I think we're going with this.
I just, they got to do something and they got to do something fast.
Also, a lot of people felt that the senior injury Monday night was legit.
It turns out it is not.
But they did play it up at the house shows this weekend.
But, say, they sure were booking that like it was, it was.
They're, they're, they're selling it.
But from what I'm reading, it's, he's fine.
Also, take this for what you're paying for it.
Okay.
I saw a picture today of, from Twitter of, uh, CM Punk's homepage.
Now being followed by WWE Network.
They're in Chicago tomorrow night.
It's all the same.
You'd have to be crazy.
Yeah, you would.
You'd have to be crazy to not think this was going to happen.
But I would have thought that if they were going to rectify this, it would have happened a long time before now.
You've seen things last longer.
And I'll just say him.
But let's talk about Raw shall we?
Alrighty.
And I think I may have fixed our video problem from last week.
I did some tweaking to the picture.
I don't know if you noticed that earlier.
I was getting some problems with the, uh, with the brightness and the contrast.
And I think I found the balance.
And again, I think it's because I was sitting to the side.
Could be.
It could be.
It was like, oh, I knew where I was going.
I'm sorry.
I got confused.
I'm in the wrong place in my eye.
I had all of a sudden.
The only show not afraid to show the blemishes.
I don't know where the only one.
This next thing I want to talk about.
It's something that's bothered me for a long time.
But I've never vocalized it.
And I want to, I want to send a message to Oakley.
Can we please make Hogan some sunglasses that fit his head?
Well, and maybe it always looks like he's wearing children sunglasses.
Maybe because the size of his head.
Oakley can make that happen.
That size may not exist.
Maybe you need to get in those ones if they may.
They go over the top of your head.
Or something.
The Christian.
Yes.
Reeking awesome.
This is James.
Because it's driving me crazy.
It really truly is driving me insane.
It's like he just got those out of a happy meals.
Brother, these look cool.
Where are these?
You let the weirdest things bother you.
Oh, are you really?
You're saying that?
Believe me.
Really?
Uh-huh.
And plus we now have video evidence that the Hayman pony tail was gone.
Thank God.
It's most weird.
I thought the little pony tail looked weird.
Without it, it looked weird to me.
Oh, it just looks different.
This will not take as long to get used to.
Because that pony tail was ridiculous.
And I respect the spot.
But didn't it really really believe
Undertaker stabbed that man through the hand?
No.
No.
I thought it was funny.
Don't get me wrong.
For comedic reasons, it was great.
But come on.
That's all I got from Raw, unless you got anything else.
No.
Slow, slow.
Especially for the Raw after the paper view.
Like, good God, he gave him blood poisoning.
I see that would have been funny.
Interesting story.
Jeff Jarrett apparently has enough investors
for his new wrestling promotion
to equal a half a billion dollars.
Wow.
Which is more than Vince was worth before the stock took off.
He's looking to do a Tuesday night weekly show.
Now, I had to read this next part about 14 times,
just to make sure I read it correctly.
I've seen a couple of the teaser videos
with a feature his wife Karen.
If I read the article correct,
he's bought airtime during the Oscars tonight.
Really?
For this promotion.
Now, I don't know if they just worded that wrong,
and it's going to be online and show up during the Oscars.
But the wording I read was,
but we'll be shown during the Oscar telecast.
But if you got $500 million,
you can throw a couple of advertising.
During the telecast or, like,
on the channel that it's being shown on,
or just what I read is,
we'll debut during the Oscars telecast.
It was also interesting to me.
I was just reading what's on the wrench,
and I'm like, well, is the Vimeo videos
that he's been with the T's
are on Kevin Sullivan's Vimeo channel,
which I find very, very interesting.
And that's something I was thinking about last night
that we're going to have to revisit
probably before WrestleMania.
As I really want to go to in-depth
into people who aren't in the Hall of Fame
and should be, he's won.
Yes.
Also, TNA's doing it again,
where they're changing titles
that non-televised events,
at a show in Japan this weekend,
Austin Aries drops the exhibition title
to a young man by the name of SES Senada,
who's going to be involved
in a six-man tag at lockdown.
You know who one of his partners will be?
Hmm.
The great Muda.
What?
Yes, that is happening, sir.
To your god.
That is happening.
Also,
the bromance regained the tag titles
at the same event in Japan,
so the wolves had the titles for about a week.
The bromance.
Also, Kurt Engel is telling people
at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio this weekend
that he will return to WWE
when his TNA contract is up in September.
Does TNA not know the meaning of no compete clause?
Or a non-disclosure, maybe?
You know, just something.
And they wonder why
that compromotions go down on a handbasin?
Well, all you guys do is watch one episode.
Not a good way.
Impact!
You know one of the things I've always wanted to hear.
Is there a good way to go to hell on a handbasque?
What the?
I wonder takers do it.
I know this next part is
wrestling a notch here.
But it might be the only one
that's always wanted to know what's actually written
on those quote-unquote contracts
when they do contract signing.
How real is this thing?
I just want to see if it just has watermelons, watermelons, watermelons, watermelons.
I just want to see what's really on it.
Watermelons!
That says what they say when you don't know the words to the song
and you're trying to lip-sing something,
just whipsing the word watermelons over and over and over and over again.
It almost looks like you know the song.
Never heard that.
No.
I've just always wondered what's actually on those.
Or did somebody just like type to get you broke?
Get his burger dress just to put words on there.
Is that the local menu to the Jason's Deli?
That would be greatness.
And here is the thing we just thought we mentioned it just a minute ago.
The wolves won the tag titles at a house show last week.
But they done the tapings in London before that house show happened.
Which I was like, how do you do this?
Because they were in a triple threat tag match.
Not for the titles.
But it was the American wolves versus the bromance versus bad influence.
But we cut back to London with all three teams were already in the ring.
So whoever brought the belts down, you never saw it on television.
So well played TNA.
Well played.
I've also determined that Ethan Carter III is the Andy Sandberg of Wrestling.
Just watch the guy.
It's all I'm saying.
But he did of course interrupt Kurt Angles.
Paul the fame induction.
Can TNA kind of replay their hall of fame?
Oh that's WWE.
This beautiful ring.
You get this arena full of people.
All dressed up.
You have Kurt Angles got his first hall of fame induction.
And I debate the validity of this.
Was it a Chuck E.G.?
It was a Rolex.
But it didn't look like a really nice one.
I mean, it's a thought that counts don't get me wrong.
But I'm sure one of the time acts with some of the word letters.
But it was on Rolex.
I don't know.
But he's going to wrestle EC3 at lockdown in a cage.
So there's that Miami.
You get that.
Talk a little bit of SmackDown headline.
Shall we?
Alexander Russe.
They're saying may not have his in ring debut until after WrestleMania 30.
So expect six more weeks of that.
Dear.
I do not see.
That is the worst case of wrestling logic.
I've seen it a while.
You give this guy this monster push at the rumble.
I wouldn't call it a monster push to give him a monster debut.
They dropped the ball.
They just why why allow him to go that far.
Yeah.
We couldn't do that at a house show.
Yes.
To see how it worked.
Just do like a 10 man battle royal the night before.
You want to you want to make him make this huge splash and a major.
And then just sit him on the shelf for another month and a half.
That is ridiculous.
It's nonsensical.
It just it makes no sense at all.
Russe.
I'm not sure what you're asking him.
The chair was his streak versus question mark.
Let me be talking about Lesner.
Strict versus please go away.
I don't know who interests me less.
Lesner or Batista right now.
Shoot.
That's one in one A.
Ten size.
Now Jason Albert's.
They've changed his name.
He's now a commentator on NXT.
I've heard some of it.
He's pretty good.
He's pretty good at the announced table.
Now I did not get a chance to watch the NXT arrival yet.
But I do plan on doing so.
Again, quality of the video quality of the iPad looks good.
And I like the set they use for NXT.
It's like a mini raw.
It did a really good job on me.
RVD was asked on Twitter will he be backed by Summerslam.
His response indeed.
Oh.
Now the question is will he be back in WWE by Summerslam?
Because I don't think this question was specific enough.
I would love to see him in Jericho WrestleMania.
I really would.
They'd be a great match.
What does the guarantee the Jericho is going to be there by that?
There's rumors.
But neither one of them signed anything.
There you go.
Stop.
Smackdown.
Is it too much to ask for me to get Rusev just one time to say how much he loves double double
E.
Just one time.
No.
No.
No.
No.
And are we really going with corporate came?
Is this a thing now?
We've been doing this for a while, haven't we?
But they're calling him that now.
I don't mind him that that's what he's doing.
But to call him corporate came, it's just stupid.
I'm just saying.
Also just got word before the show started and I got it verified out from good
to printed the show.
Tasware L.
AJ Styles may have injured a guy in the London during the UK this weekend at
the indie show.
Guy may have broken his neck.
So, you know, I haven't seen the footage.
I don't have all the details.
But we hope that young man doesn't get well soon.
And if you know anything about AJ Styles, you know that the guys really really
good in the ring.
So it had to be something just freakish to happen.
I'm sure he's carrying the majority of the guilt around on his shoulders.
That's what he's not.
Yeah.
I have a huge AJ Styles market.
Because the guy is just a quality human being as far as I'm concerned.
And you don't get a lot of that in wrestling.
You ain't lying, sir.
Let's move on and do some movie talking.
Because we've got to play this song again.
Jeez.
Last Monday.
We lost a Hollywood great.
I'm very much looking forward to hearing Hollywood Babylon tomorrow.
Because I know.
Because it took last week off.
So they'll be back this week.
It's a great Harold Ramus.
Again, another, another soul crusher.
He would have turned 70 in November.
You know, you don't think of Harold Ramus being 70 years old.
No, you really don't.
When I saw his age, I was like, well, yeah.
Again, make sense.
Because we're at the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters.
Which is still Ghostbusters?
Three still going forward, they're saying.
I don't know how you do with that.
You don't.
You just don't.
If you don't know who he is.
He was he on Spangler in Ghostbusters.
He was Bill Murray's buddy in Russell Zisky and Stripes.
He also co-wrote both of the films as a writer director.
He did catty shack.
National Influence Vacation Groundhog Day analyzed this.
He was on SCTV.
One of the three screenwriters for Animal House.
People that have credited him as one of their favorites are people like Jay Roach.
Jane Cazden, Adam Sandler, the fairly brothers.
He won the BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay for Groundhog Day.
Born November 21st, 1944 in Chicago.
His parents were shopkeepers who owned the Ace Food and Liquor Mart on the city's north side.
He had a Jewish upbringing, but did not practice any religion.
Graduated from Stephen K. Height Elementary School in June of 58 in Nicholas, San High School in 1962, both public schools.
Went to Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He worked in a mental institution in St. Louis for seven months.
He said it in his heart, he felt he was a combination of Groucho and Harpo marks.
I'm not going to debate that.
From everything that I've ever read about him, everything I've ever heard, you would not find a nicer guy.
It'd be hard to find a more...
A funnier guy.
And a guy who genuinely loved what he did.
Yeah.
You know, never really wanted to be the lead guy.
Had no problem being the psychic.
See stripes alone.
Just really loved what he did.
A Don's joined us. He said that apparently the roads are getting slick in his part of town.
So, we're glad you're safe sir.
And if you're going to be out there tonight, Empire, only be out if you have to.
Conditions here and then Don's Fort Worth are getting a little ridiculous.
Were you familiar with his affliction that he had that caused his passing?
I do not. You had to fill me in on that.
I was not familiar with it.
It was called Autoimmune and Flamatory Vascularitis.
We're apparently your white blood cells attack the walls of your blood vessels.
Which causes blockages and causes your organs to swell.
And this is something he'd been dealing with for a number of years.
I don't know when he got diagnosed.
But Bill Murray is the godfather of his daughter Violet.
But from him and an artist named Anne Plotkin, who got married on my birthday in 1967.
They were separated in 1984 later divorced in 1989.
He married Erica Mann, the daughter of Mike, a Daniel Mann and Mary Kathleen Williams.
Had two sons with her.
Big Chicago Cubs fan.
Every year would do the seventh inning stretch at Ridley Field.
Enjoyed fencing.
I don't know that.
His wife or his or he really doesn't really strike me as the fencing type.
Just another example we talked about on the show.
We've got the age now.
We've got stuff to give me start taking away.
I know that I'm not alone in this because I saw it all over Facebook on Monday.
You sir.
Another one will be incredibly.
Incredibly, man.
Absolutely.
All right, let's talk box office numbers.
Dropping out of the top 10 this week.
Endless love drops from 9 to 12.
It's made.
140.
Is that right?
No.
22.3 million dollars on a 20 million dollar budget.
Looks like that's the only will be dropping out of the top 10 this week.
Winters tail drops from 10 to I'll even the top 25.
That thing.
Hello, she didn't even make a quarter of its budget back.
Oh, she'll fly.
10th place this week dropping from 7 to 10 is right along.
Lost 317 theaters but still made just just about 3.1 million dollars.
It's now made $127.2 million dollars on a 25 million dollar budget.
And we are getting a sequel.
Dear Lord.
9th place dropping from 6th place about last night.
So Kevin Hart's got those right together.
3.4 million dollars.
3 week total of $43.8 million dollars on a 12.5 million dollar budget.
In 8th place, still staying in 8th place is frozen.
Still in the top 10.
That is incredible.
Yeah.
It lost 145 theaters this week.
Makes $3.6 million dollars.
It has now on a $150 million budget in 15 weeks.
It has made $388.75 million dollars.
That is amazing.
Congratulations at them.
Pompeii drops from the bronze medal to 7th place.
Making $4.3 million dollars for a 2 week total of 17.7 million dollars.
That is a $100 million budget served.
Robocop drops from 4 to 6.
4.5 million dollars.
3 week total of $51.2 million dollars.
Also a $100 million budget.
3 days to kill drops from 2 to 5.
Making just under $5 million for a 2 week total of 20.7 million dollars on a 28 million dollar budget.
So it will probably make its budget back, but not much more.
Not much.
It's kind of free.
Monument's men goes up this week from 5 to 4.
5 million dollars.
I did talk to Charlotte.
She said.
That's what I.
My father said the same thing he went inside.
But it's now $5 million dollars.
It's now made $65.
Just about $66 million dollars on a $70 million budget in 4 weeks.
The Lego movie finally drops out.
This is the first weekend.
It has not been number one at the box office, but it drops to the bronze medal.
21 million dollars more this weekend.
For a four week total of $209.3 million dollars on a $60 million budget.
It's made two thirds of frozen money in a quarter of the times, sir.
Let me put that in perspective for you.
How doll mighty?
Look at me doing math.
Your silver and gold medal winners this week are both debuts.
Some of God debuts in second place.
With 26.5 million dollars.
I don't have a budget listed because it probably didn't have anything else.
And we'll talk about that when we do special edition for some of God coming up this week.
And debuting at number one a movie that was actually screening right across the hall.
From where I saw some of God on Tuesday night.
Non stop taking $2.5.
$30 million dollars.
$50 million dollar budget.
Open down almost 30 100 screens.
Taking happens again, apparently.
I just...
The real heavy desire.
No, neither do I.
I didn't have any desire for taking two either, so.
Boy, that was bad.
Man, that was bad.
All right.
Uh, Russ says the Lego movie sequel will be made 26, 2017.
Dear Lord, I think about how long it takes to film some.
Ah, yeah.
Good night.
The Oscars are underway right now.
My DVR is rolling.
We're going to watch it as soon as we get off air.
It's also streaming online for the first time ever, which is hard to believe.
I read that.
I was at the same thing.
But that's a thing.
L was the generous hosting.
From all accounts that I've read.
From all the people, the Oscar prognosticators, if you.
My vocabulary is on fire this week.
There's one thing in school I did well was vocabulary.
I know a lot of words.
Um, the hardest Oscars to predict in decades is what a lot of the people were saying.
Because this this field is so good this year.
To me, the only lock I can give you right now is Jared Leto.
Really?
For God's buyers club.
That's the only lock I can give you.
Just off the top of my head.
Especially like best picture.
That could go a number of different directions.
What's your gut telling you?
My gut tells me 12 years of slave is going to make up for its lack of nominations at the Golden Globes.
Because I got two words for you.
That act like.
Yeah.
I think a lot of people would be surprised at it when some awards.
Um, and we're going to talk about that movie here in just a minute.
I don't know.
I'm looking forward to watching this and we get off air.
Which if you see, it seems like we're running a little bit faster pace tonight.
That's why.
Because some of us got to get up in them.
Russell saying some of God's budget was 22 million.
So we're, they're good.
Pretty much.
But I wonder how much of that was actually spent while they were filming the movie series.
But that's tonight.
So get ready for that kids.
Don't, you know, you can watch that on mute.
But if you're listening to the show live.
We need you to stay here.
Then go back and watch that.
Because apparently Jennifer Lawrence has already wiped out on the red carpet on her way in.
She's already stumbled and fallen.
A gift is already making the rounds.
Love her.
And 12 years of slave.
We found this week is going to actually be used as a teaching tool in schools.
It's fantastic.
Coming this spring.
So congratulations to those kids on that.
In other interesting movie news.
Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg will team up to bring a movie called console war to the big screen.
It's the story about Sega Nintendo.
So their whole bit in the early late 80s early 90s.
The book's not even out yet.
The book comes out in August.
But they've already announced the movie.
You have my absolute attention on this subject.
I'm very interested in this.
I just doesn't hope it doesn't turn this Pirates of Silicon Valley.
Because that was a terrible thing.
But that was also a team of the so or jobs.
I'm excited to see them.
We are going to talk about that coming up here in the wild out.
The Smurfs 3 is coming.
But it will be completely animated.
You haven't seen what?
Jobs?
Jobs?
I haven't seen it, sir.
Don song.
Oh, that's right.
That's right.
I didn't go.
That's right.
I had something else going on that night.
But the Smurfs 3 will be completely animated.
And I still won't see it.
But it's a step in the right direction.
Yeah.
So I'm saying.
Found out this week.
Mark Webb will be back for amazing Spider-Man 3.
He's pretty much got to be.
I just.
I don't want to give away spoilers to people that don't know the storyline.
I just hope that they handle one thing correctly.
I've already seen the outfit on set.
Well, I've seen that too.
But I want to make sure it's handled correctly.
Well, if they're doing that much attention to detail,
I would hope if they're going out of the way to get that much right.
Just then, you know.
The entourage movie will release June 12, 2015.
The summer we will have no money.
Maybe a principal photography is underway.
I saw a picture on a Twitter of the cast altogether.
There were never watching an episode.
Great show.
Hello.
That will be up.
Are you sure?
We have casting news for episode 7.
Adam Driver from Girls will be the villain from what I'm reading.
Never heard of this kid.
Is that all he's done?
Pretty much.
I believe he won either the Emmy or the Golden Globe this year for that show.
So he's he's a young.
He is a young.
Oh, wait a minute.
Possibly.
The young emperor cloned.
Could be.
We also have.
Honolai's daughter cast.
Oh.
Strong rumors.
I'm hearing right now.
Jane, I believe is what her name is.
Nope.
Young lady known for Black Swan.
And I'm going to be called the Miloeziana Sky.
Her name is Cassinias Solo.
Oh, shut up.
That's her character name or that's the answer.
Her name.
That's too cool for words.
Good friend of the show Bart.
Bart's got texted me on for Bart Wright.
Texted me on Friday, he went.
But I'm changing my name to Boba Bart.
She didn't be Bart Vader or something like.
Pretty girl.
Beautiful girl.
Born in Latvia.
She is 27 this year.
No, when I was a.
It wasn't.
It wasn't.
Honolai is daughter's name.
Jane is Jane.
Jason and Anakin, right?
I believe you're correct.
You're more and you're more into the EU than I was.
Just barely.
But still.
Which is one point to win the game, sir.
David Fincher and talks to direct the Aaron Sorkin written Steve Jobs' biopic.
Gotta be better than the one in Ashton did.
So we're going to be three scenes.
But if you know, if you know Aaron Sorkin, he can make three scenes and blast an hour.
Because he's just that good.
Since city a day into kill for has wrapped its principle photography.
I've already seen some of the shots online.
Have you?
Yes.
Yeah.
I'm so in on this.
Speaking of things, Robert Rodriguez related.
They will be screened the premiere of.
From dust till dawn.
It's certain Alombo draft houses.
But not the one here.
Turn it.
So there's that.
Well, I don't know if I'm all that up on seeing it anyway.
You are not.
You are not.
You are not.
That's how I roll, sir.
If you're getting ready to go see Captain America, the winter soldier in April.
We will get the trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Michael Bay 1.
So there's that.
I will kill you in three seconds.
Come on.
The only thing I have.
Play something by the turtles.
I don't care.
Just get this thing off the shelf.
God.
Play this long day sample for me myself.
And I get this thing out of here.
Well, I'll turn it down because I don't have to go ski different.
Jeff Goblin will be back for Independence Day 2, but not for Jurassic World.
He said he wasn't even asked.
Nobody called him.
But your villain has been cast and he is one Vincent Denafrio.
Edgar returned.
Yeah.
Okay.
But you know, I love he's Vincent Denafrio.
So that might bring me back to this thing.
I'm just saying.
As long as I don't have to sit next to an unruly child.
Oh, that was you.
That would mean.
You went there for three.
Yeah, I was not there.
Remember I haven't seen three.
Yeah.
It was better than two with any saying.
Yeah.
It's fair point.
Bond 24.
Starts filming an October thing.
God.
And the third Bond movie.
At the Alamo this Friday.
Because remember the Alamo is doing a different Bond movie.
The seventh of every month in order leading up to Bond 24.
God, Lee.
I think that's awesome.
That's awesome.
But I can't believe we've yet to screen one.
It's a thing called time.
I don't know.
Hopefully.
I like that.
Moving to releases this week.
300 rise of an empire.
God.
I'm so.
I'm.
Very indifferent right now.
I'm very indifferent.
And I don't know why.
I have no reason to be the only thing that's.
The only thing that's really tempering my enthusiasm is Eva's character.
It's like she's playing the same.
Evil, contemptuous.
Must rule all button that that is laid out before me kind of chick over and over again.
So when you're good at something.
Was she a movie that we may or may not be seeing early?
That's not a swing quink.
Thank you, our friends.
I like integrated marketing.
Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
Tom Griswald out on this one.
Just because he says he doesn't like the voice casting.
Mr. Fur.
Mr. Peabody.
Who he?
I'm in on this.
Who is it?
Don't make me look this out.
Wow.
Look it up.
I thought you knew off the top of your head.
No.
I can understand that he's a little.
He's a little.
I think it's type a rail.
Don't give me the quote me on that.
But I know he's in it.
Type a rail is Mr. Peabody.
Max Charles is Sherman.
Ariel Winter is Penny Peterson.
Steven Tobelowski, who I'm a huge fan of as in this Alice in Janney.
Dennis Hayesbury, Mr. President.
Steven Colbert Leslie Mann.
Warburton Warburton.
What's all I need?
Yeah.
That's all I need to hear.
Don says that Bond 24 is going to be in two parts.
I had not heard that.
He said he saw a 300 on Thursday.
It's very brutal.
It's more about the Greeks and the Spartans.
If you love 300, you'll love it.
If you hate 300, you'll hate it.
So I love it.
So.
But I'm looking forward to Peabody and Sherman.
Also, the latest from West Anderson, the Grand Budapest Hotel this week.
And the Alamo will be celebrating his films all month long.
So if you're a fan of West Anderson, there's that.
Not really fan of his.
I got a good buddy. He's a huge fan of the fantastic Mr. Fox.
So.
It's the eye of a scene now.
In fear.
What do you know about this thing?
Nothing.
Should I?
It sounds like it's in my wheelhouse.
It's a kind of for any film.
Is that a word?
Yes.
Yes, it is.
For any.
Driving lost and tormented in the night.
Primal fears of the dark and unknown give way to the fear.
But you have let the evil in or that it is already there.
So that's what you get.
Sounds kind of vague.
And that's all I've got.
And I do think we ought to probably run down the.
The winners of last night's Razzy awards at some point during.
We don't.
We may be a little press for time.
We'll see.
This quick.
Not that many.
Grand piano.
This movie looks horrible.
Toby McGuire.
John Q sack.
Toby McGuire is a orchestral piano player.
Who.
Find his base.
He's getting ready.
He's ready to quit.
Open up his sheet music for his performance.
And it says play one wrong note and you die.
So it's so beat in an orchestra with huge acts of villain.
Yeah.
I saw the trailer on nothing but trailer.
So I was like.
This is a joke, right?
This isn't really it.
There's a bomb in your cello section.
Uh, Jodo Worski's dude.
Yeah.
We talked about this.
See this.
No, is this getting an act?
And it was.
It was dolly.
That was cast to be in the film.
Really?
Yeah.
It was MC Escher who was doing the set design.
Okay.
Yeah.
This thing is a mess.
And I can't wait to see this documentary.
Uh, Journey to the West.
The latest from the Steven Chao machine.
I love this dude.
The trailer looks real.
Yes.
Yes.
I didn't realize it was already out on Blue Ray.
Is it really?
No.
Is it?
Oh, no.
This is movie release.
We're in movie release.
Okay.
Yeah.
I saw this trailer a couple of months ago.
A run overseas.
And they were just booting straight to video here.
This looks correct.
The face of love, where a widow falls for a guy who bears a striking resemblance
to her dead husband.
Yikes.
Ed Harris.
And net betting.
Amy Brennan.
Robin Williams.
Geez.
So I need to keep going.
Yeah.
Creepy.
But a little intrigued because of the cast.
And a movie called awful nice.
Basically, it's these two brothers that inherit this.
Cabin from their parents in the mayhem that goes on there.
Independent film.
I'll lie your next kind of thing.
No.
More like the great outdoors.
Okay.
Who's involved in this?
It's like an indie film.
I didn't recognize it.
I could look it up.
I didn't really recognize it.
I don't worry about it.
Don't worry about it.
I'll just tell you got me thinking.
Oh, Chris Maloney's in this.
I did forget about that.
I mean, when your poster is a bear wearing sunglasses, a bandana, and smoking a cigarette.
So he goes from Man of Steel to this.
Yeah.
Chris Maloney, Laura Ramsey.
Keeley Hazel.
Why don't I know that name?
You left your career at law and order to do a movie with a sunglasses wearing.
Y'all got smeared off, sin it.
Oh, my god.
What are the scar brothers is in this?
Keeley Hazel.
Why do I know that name?
I'm like a social disease.
She was in a movie called Cashback with her.
I saw the trigger for that looks terrible.
No.
I don't know.
I just know.
I don't know why I know that name.
I think she's like a British model or something.
That's gotta be what it is.
Oh, look at the Don's comment about 24 and bond, 24 and 25.
John Logan said bond, 24 and 25.
We won story in two movies, but Craig will not be
in the two parts or conflicting stories.
Okay.
So kind of like where we're casino royale led into quantum.
Right.
I guess I'm kind of see that.
GVD and blue right new releases in places that you get DVDs and blue rays this week.
The Hunger Games catching fire, which means my wife will finally get to see it.
Also 12 years of slave.
Got to see this.
The Grand Master, which is the very first press screen that we got to go to.
Back in August.
And the 2013 version of Old Boy, which I heard awful things about.
Yeah, terrible.
You want to go over your Razzi's real quick, sir?
Absolutely, sir.
The place to do it.
Okay.
We will start with worse screenplay.
Movie 43, written by 19 different screenwriters.
Worst director.
The 13 people who directed movie 43.
Yes, let's clarify.
Movie 43 was supposed to be a lot like Kentucky Fried Movie
or Amazon on the moon.
Right.
But I've gotten to my instant queue.
I just have a weird curiosity with this.
But it's a bajillion times cruder and nastier from those.
Yeah, it's real tacky.
Worst prequel, remake, rip off or sequel.
Want to take a stab at this one?
I'm going to let you take it, sir.
It would be the lone ranger.
I still want to see it, though.
I'll wait for it on stars.
But I want to see it.
I can't watch it.
She said she enjoyed it.
But, you know.
Worst screen combo.
The father's son team of Jaden and Will Smith for after.
Good.
Worst supporting actress.
Kim Kardashian Tala Perry's temptation.
Worst supporting actor.
Will Smith after earth.
Worst actress.
Tyler Perry and drag for a Medea Christmas.
Hallelujah.
Worst actor.
Jaden Smith after Smith.
After Smith after earth.
After Smith.
After career.
And Worst picture.
Movie 43.
Okay.
So Adam Sandler gets a shot out.
Don says that he was surprised that the gray master was nominated for a foreign film.
I wasn't.
That it was nominated.
Did it was nominated?
Did it was nominated?
Oh, I didn't know that it was.
Great film.
Anything for tech corner, sir.
Besides the aforementioned not being able to.
Can't get the WWE working.
Yeah.
Not on my end anyway.
All right.
Then let's go straight to a little thing.
I like to call the list.
Street light is on.
Every show ends with a list.
And Chad's got the list this week.
Take it away.
Chad.
By the way.
If you're if you're a fan of the mellow mushroom.
Right now they're featuring a chicken cord on blue calzone.
Well, funny.
You should mention that.
That's kind of segways into my.
Oh, that is segway.
And into my list.
Quite well.
I don't even know where this came from.
It just, you know, inspiration kind of struck me.
Oh, okay.
Well, I think I know what it was.
We were sitting around trying to decide what we were going to do for dinner one night.
And we had all this jelly meat in the fridge.
And we just kind of slept together.
Some cold cuts with some, you know, some condiments.
And I think you forget how good just a basic simple sandwich really is.
It's like, why don't we do this more often.
It's cheap and it never lets you down because you kind of handcraft.
But I'm picky when it comes to the bread.
That's my problem.
Well, I got we did good onion roll.
Well, like, you know how they always have that tray set up to decide the stuff that
they got to sell quickly at the Walmart.
Yeah.
I got a six pack of Kaiser rolls that were really really good.
Is that a Kaiser roll?
That's the first I got thought it.
So it's a very, very insider.
That we really can't go into detail.
Exactly.
But I decided to throw a list together of my 10 favorite sandwiches.
That's right.
And there may be some, there's a couple of spots on this list where it's a very specific sandwich at a very specific menu.
And yours, of course.
But I'll kind of try to get all the dinner rolls.
That was not nominated for best form film.
Okay, that's it.
I didn't, I hadn't heard anything about it.
For starters, it's can, you can go either way here.
The peanut butter sandwich we either jelly or bananas.
Peanut butter and jelly.
Peanut butter and banana fried.
Peanut butter banana with bacon on it fried.
I just love a peanut butter sandwich.
Well, those are your peanut rolls.
And I'm a huge fan of the peanut butter banana sandwich.
I made a fried peanut butter banana sandwich for the wife and the daughter.
The other day and their minds were blown.
They'd never had one before.
Huh.
Um, next on the list, I love a good patty meal.
I got to be in the mood for the patty meals.
And I haven't found a place that just nails it perfectly.
I've had several, you know, every now and then.
The burger gets pretty close.
Water burger will roll right out there.
Jack on the box will roll it out there.
When they do their chocolate-multed crunch shake, which is a perfect combo.
They call it there like 50 diner combo or whatever.
But I'm a huge fan of it.
The first one I ever had was at a fairles for my birthday one.
You know, actually there's a decent one.
Not a great one, but a decent one.
Denny's.
I've done Denny's quite often.
I've done the patty meal.
Denny's more times than I can count.
Um, the Monte Cristo.
Used to be a fan.
Not as much of a fan as I used to be.
Well, it kind of depends on where you're getting it from.
Because they can really go overboard whenever they fry it.
It can get just saturated with grease and it just kind of sits in your,
in the pit of your stomach like a ball of cement.
But when it's done right, when it's, it's not overfried, over-bredded.
It's, it's, it's a masterpiece.
It's, it's your mouth and your brain really kind of.
Don't know how to communicate what you're experiencing when you're eating this thing.
I'm, I'm a huge fan of mixing sweet and savory.
I always have been.
And I think the McGriddle kind of opened the door to a lot of people.
They work kind of turned off by and also not a huge fan.
Well, I, I, I'm not putting the McGriddle on the list.
But I'm just saying that that's what might have got people thinking about.
Um, for years, I was all about beef brisket barbecue beef brisket when I would do barbecue sandwich.
I am very picky when it comes to brisket.
I'm leaning a lot more towards pulled pork now.
I'm a huge barbecue pulled pork fan.
My wife will tell you that is probably her favorite sandwich of any kind of sandwich in the existence of sandwiches.
Really?
Yes.
Apparently they do a, uh, a very, very good one at, uh, bone daddy's.
Never had that.
Friend of the show, Jim Brago had one personally.
It was called the, the flying pager, something like daddy's.
It's very, very good.
And Russell, we'll talk about it.
Believe it or not, the last money crystal that I ate was at Benningons.
And they made the mistake of putting it in old grease.
You know, you could definitely tell that they needed to change it out.
And what the weird thing is is this was like whenever Benningons first started to re-surface.
That's that first one I found, like over an art.
The closer one I could find was one over in Plano way down 75.
Like right before you're getting to like the McKinney area.
Next on the list.
Getting to the more specific to restaurant sandwiches.
Oh, this one.
I had just recently at the last paper view.
That club I got that croissant club at the grade outdoors is one of the best.
You had that last Sunday.
That's probably one of the best clubs I've ever eaten in my life.
I couldn't eat it out of my head.
I wanted another sandwich so bad.
I'm like no matter how good I make this sandwich.
It's not going to be anywhere near as good as that club.
I have a great outdoors.
Flying pig at bone daddies.
Pulled pork, link, sausage, maple, glazed ham, and smokey bacon all in one bun.
Dear God!
Okay, you just hurt my soul.
Dude, here's one better for you.
The steak and bacon sandwich.
Stop it!
Stop it!
Playing kiss a rib eye brush with bone daddies.
World class barbecue sauce served on a total roll and topped with provolone cheese and
smokehouse bacon.
Why are you doing this to me?
The market.
God.
Um.
Although it's really dropped off in quality as a restaurant, a sandwich chain.
My favorite sandwich for the longest time was the chicken carbon art from Quisnos.
Before they got really stingy with their portions and you had one up paying just as much for
a regular as you did for a large when they first opened.
The chicken carbon art was amazing.
Chicken Alfredo, you know, like a garlic Alfredo sauce and bacon.
I'm looking for grilled chicken and bacon and Alfredo sauce.
I'm looking for the downside and really I can't find one.
You're killing me here.
It's second time.
I just just cracks me up.
Uh, and I know you're not a fan of this per se, but and it was it was a long time before
I convinced the wife to try it.
The grilled chicken salad sandwich at Arby's.
I'm very basic when I go to Arby's.
See, I'm not.
I keep it simple at Arby's.
Well, I may have beef and cheddar.
I every once and again, I might have a wrap.
But I keep it simple at Arby's.
I know what I like about it.
I'm such a fan of their market fresh line.
And this is one of those sandwiches in the market fresh line.
I could give a credit about the stuff that uses the melted cheese sauce because it just tastes like
you're eating.
The sauce on a beat.
Oh, the beef and cheddar is so good.
I just leave it off.
Um, an RBQ sauce is the nectar of the guy.
The A1 thickened hearty burger at Water Burger.
I am doing any more such a fan of this thing.
In 2007, I had one that gave me food poisoning for three days and it just killed me.
Well, as much as I love that burger.
As much as you love country burger, just have them do it, do it up there.
Although the one they do it to five guys is pretty dead gum good too.
You can get it done the exact same thing.
Which no one I've found because I bought some A1 thickened hearty because you know, I'll get my
prize from country burger.
I'll put A1 on it.
I don't like the thickened hearty as much as I like the regular A.
Really?
Um, it likes you to pool or two.
And they say thickened hearty thing.
They made it.
It's like my glasses.
Like trying to do Heinz ketchup.
Um, I'm a sucker for a good Philly cheese steak.
I'm not going to debate that, sir.
And I want a real one.
I want it one from Geno's or whatever the other one is and compete all day.
Good luck with that.
I'm just going to go to Philadelphia.
Oh, is that all?
Well, let's hop on the plane right now.
Let's drive.
Yeah, you do that.
Uh, about the best Philly that I have found locally or
had a chain is probably the one at Jersey mics.
I haven't had the becoon.
Oh, I haven't had the becoon because that's got like peppers and
crud like that on it.
I just keep it basic.
Just see Jersey mics is another place.
I keep it simple.
Give me number nine.
Give me.
I'm going to go.
I do steak.
Cheese grilled onions.
I'll do the peppers.
That's all I want.
Mushrooms.
Got a lot of mushrooms on it.
And they wrap it in foil.
Let's see.
I love the way they do their.
Like hot sandwiches.
They wrap it in foil.
Then they put it in the plane.
Charlotte doesn't agree on the specialty sandwiches.
My problem with it now is they could just put them on the menu.
They're not specialty anymore.
They're not like the limited edition.
I don't like them in a limited edition.
I don't like it in good and addicted to something.
And then you yank it away from me.
I like it because it makes me like it more.
Um.
And topping off the list is something that the wife and I have become addicted to.
And it's another fairly recent discovery.
Is that pot roast sandwich from Jason's Delhi.
God.
That thing is got a pot roast fan.
I mean, it's just roast beef.
Now that club Royale over there Jason's Delhi.
And see.
And that's that boy and an onion roll.
Take the lettuce off.
But the extra cheese on it is it's on.
And I was debating on.
What my favorite clubs were between the great outdoors and the club Royale.
It was really tough.
But I only wanted to put one club and one Jason's Delhi sandwich.
Garlic aoli, provolone and roast beef on on on on a bag of it.
I'm not a big provolone fan.
I just provolone cheese to me doesn't have it a flavor.
And some of the some of the sandwiches that you just can't find anymore.
One of the ones I really miss.
Um.
It's a smoky bacon cheeseburger from Wendy's.
I wish they would think that was so good.
I knew Dom was going to check in with the with the prawn.
Pramani brothers.
That's again.
I got to go to Pittsburgh to get it.
But it looks amazing.
And you're a big fan of the Cuban, which I've never tried.
Oh, cute.
A good Cuban sandwich.
Because they are bad people.
Now that that calzone that I got is borderline Cuban because they actually put mustard on it.
So if you had just added the the cord on blue thing that you.
Yeah.
But.
I'm ready for it.
I'm telling you when the magic mushroom opens.
We're going.
I'm sorry.
The mellow mushroom.
The mellow mushroom.
The mellow mushroom.
We're 20.
You go to where did you.
Oh, you talking about going to rock wall.
Frisco.
Okay.
Yeah.
We're going to rock wall.
As soon as that opens.
We're booking.
Yeah.
There's no.
There's argument here.
That's happening.
Because it's.
It's so good.
What can you think of anyone that you throw on the list as far as.
Uh, another chicken cord on blue.
Any chicken cord on blue sandwich.
I'm always in on.
Uh.
A good meatball sub.
And that's your sub.
Oh, oh.
Oh, oh.
And subway.
And subway doesn't decent one.
It's one of the few sandwiches that they do that I can actually crave.
Um.
A wreck from uh.
Popbellys.
Oh, wreck it.
We've got the hidden cord on blue sandwich from there.
I have to try.
Uh, um.
That grilled chicken sandwich I put together in E.T.s.
All those years ago was a mine blower.
A good.
Well, well done grilled chicken sandwich.
I'm always in on.
Uh-huh.
But you know what?
The flavor combination I find really good on a good grilled chicken sandwich.
Man is catch up onion cheese.
That's it.
I'm telling you that.
That flavor combination on an actually not a grilled chicken.
But like a fried chicken sandwich.
It's good.
It's amazing.
The combination of of flavors is amazing.
When it's with it.
I left it.
I didn't turn this phone on vibrate.
Uh, Charlotte says she thinks it opens April the first.
Good homemade grilled chicken grilled cheese sandwich done.
I'm with you on that.
I am in to that.
Sean says we find it.
They said April first.
And it was April.
But she said I'm like don't tease me.
I've heard too much about this place.
Oh, I can't do their buffalo chicken pizza.
We'll knock you out.
I'm looking for a good buffalo chicken pizza.
Because they don't do it.
They don't do it like you.
They do it like sliced chicken.
Like the greatness of NYPD.
Yes.
Got it, Mr. Really good.
And wait till you see some of the stuff that they have.
Well, we will book it.
When it happens, we will book it.
But that's what I need them to sponsor this show.
So I need to freeze them.
But that's my list.
Let's do the flux.

Knock out out of a preacher with the softball bed.
Well, a swinging shepherd from the sheep of the Savior.
For time with the power would church your Christ.
An example of some highly unholy behavior in a game that had already been protested.
Some children did the goal must have been said for them to be aimin' hate.
As ministers say.
Fucking the party ain't the thing that didn't be leaders.
The hardwin' owner, oh and Tim.
Church League Softball Fist fight.
A body layin' on a hand beats a left bill like knocking out 14.
Getting up a stick left ain't exactly my ideal.
The Christian Bahel of Shia.
Choads laid softball fist fight.
Rollin' around the pitcher's mound.
