We talked about the Run-P app, which AMC now has built into their app, which was invented by Carson Palmer's brother Jordan, I believe, is his name, which if you just tell it what movie you're seeing, it tells you the best times that you can go to pee during the movie.

And we were wondering, because you're not supposed to use your phone in the movie, if it alerts you, it does. It gives you like, there's like a countdown clock and I think I'm like two minutes and then it's like you get a text message telling you, okay, that time to go to pee. You probably only want to get that one, so you wind up at the guy in the sky, fall at the chat almost punched on the face.

been incredible and uh they already got my stuff that sells while they're to help with my insurance company all the stuff that was ruined but uh you know a kidman I could be in the hospital right now outside of independent ball you know you're not watching the fort worth cats playing for God sake you're watching professional baseball it was extremely fun and also the everybody who doesn't like N.E. is what should be time is that like the same equivalent as when a Twilight movie would come out and it would be the box office later by nine hundred million dollars and then the next week it makes 15 and it's the same thing that's gonna happen when 50 shades of gray releases oh god it'll do a bajillion dollars and then it'll do four not four million just four I don't even think they should even do it theatrical on the 50 shades of gray movie because nobody's going to want to admit to watching it in public just put it out on VOD and let it and let the type of where parties happen or the sex twin it's like whatever you want to call it it's like I said on the show last week it's gonna be the magic mic crowd for three days yeah and then it'll die but they know that crowd is big and they want to appeal to them well that's fine and I mean when the great gats became out early this summer the same week is Ironman there were a ton of people who were at the theater because we went to the new looks in him as an attison how would we throw a vibe we thought we were under dressed to go in it's extremely nice you're you're not under dressed because you'd be one of the few people it actually did go into it because they're still having problems convincing people to go into the theater the big screens they've got these massive screens they're not iMacs but they're called the evolution screens Dolby Atmos 20 points sound it's gorgeous great movie theater I I hardly recommend it how's the admission versus going to what say an MC you're jacked up about probably three or four bucks that's not bad yeah so you go to say 20 bucks for a Dolby atmosphere about that because I think we paid 16 when we went and saw Star Trek and a man is steel on the premise hey 3D hey 3D hey 3D hey 3D hey 3D hey 3D I didn't mind it yeah I didn't mind it hey 3D it never improves the story hey 3D Avatar was the only time that I've seen 3D actually improve on at the actual experience everything else including Star Trek which was kind of shot in 3D kind of not which is weird I don't understand that per se because they did conversion on some they did filming on some didn't make any sense to me but if you shouldn't 3D find it'll be equal experience for 2D and 3D if it's a conversion don't even bother yeah I want Evalis and 3D Salah see Salah see Salah see he was saying her last name first it's the military Eid comma Alice I'm about and why did we have to come on why why did we have to apologize for that that's what I don't understand it just takes a few people to complain I mean I can understand if it was like that scene in airplane where the naked top of someone just takes up the whole camera for 3 seconds hey but if he just turned around she was in her lingerie he turned back around move on Zack Snyder never apologized for Dr.

drops us Tuesday right it dropped last Thursday dropped on July 4 yeah but I don't have a Samsung phone so it drops this Tuesday right well no it was listed as a July 4 release well sound scans said that they were going to start including giveaways as sales numbers and I'm sure that there's a fat you know piece of cash that Samsung paid uh how about it get the thing out there what I've spoken with a couple of people who have listened to magna card a holy grail and they say it's great did their Samsung phone actually delivered on time um that I do not know I can either confirm I can either confirm or deny it was listened to on a Samsung product that's all I'm willing to say it so what you're saying is bet tort may or may not have been involved no the pirate bay may or may not have uh Yes, if you're going to retell it exact Snyder can do what he wants if we want to get really But I'm okay with that because one of the things I talked about with man of steel is you get kryptonite without getting kryptonite Well, I love the way he told the story It's like they said like before you would believe a man could fly now you could believe this this person could exist in the world You live in which was the whole point of the dark night trilogy You could believe that that that Batman could exist in the world you live in and you now believe the Tom Hardy can have bad Miction and he could say you Now I will not believe a man that has no money can somehow sneak back into an island that's protected by an army for a year But that's a different issue and and you know if if commissioner Gordon's the one guy You don't want on the street why are you letting him roam the street, but that's a different issue Or let's send all the cops in the city and the five borrows of not New York Down in the swimmers.

This is my favorite part of the show where we discussed the little details of comic book movies and say Well, they were wrong Thank you They were five hundred million dollars wrong Yeah, but you know I can't dumb I love how I was wrong man of steel and I can't wait for the next one looking forward to seeing it I am I really would you rather see a man of steel to or would you rather see a justice like film come out of Man of steel, too. I think the hardest part of it if DC is really pushing it the hardest part to do is explain Aquaman Martian man hunter and a Wonder Woman in five minutes and still have an entire Justice League film Do you have the three have the strength to pull their own movies though? Yeah, but you just wonder woman I think so. Yeah, I want a woman to do it Aquaman man.

I think of those three. She's the strongest a man can be a chinsy thing But I said the same thing I I found that that cap was gonna be tougher than Thor, but they pulled off cap I still want to see a flash move. You bring this guy into our world and have him view it and then bring the other characters in and if it is Success and why should that's what they can do their own while for the Justice League animated series I don't think you could watch it watching Justice League do a couple of weeks ago. I guess if I was killing somebody in the street for there's there's there's a really good example and a really bad example Well, it's not even a really bad example About a month before Zach Braff came out and said that he wanted to crowdfund his project Rob Thomas not the singer for matchbox 20, but brighter in creator of Veronica Mars Went to his uh, went to his fan base and said I have the rights available to make a Veronica Mars movie The studio has said if I can raise the money to do it, we're gonna do it and it was the fastest to a million fastest to It didn't even make millions it didn't even get it was about an even what less than 24 hours for they got to the million mark Correct, yeah, and you know that they he had great that the key to any good crowdfunding campaign if you And by the way if you have not gone through and looked at sites like kickstarter dot com or in the go go dot com or God knows there's about a five or six what the jiu's a starter in the he's doing his on his own Well, yeah, I did I tried kickstarter last year and it failed collocally And then it took it over to my site right and I've been working on it on my side since then The reason I went with any go go with everything doesn't suck is there's a there's a specific way to do it Where you not only get the money immediately regardless of what you hit your goal or not But if you actually do get past your goal they'll refund Part of their fee structure So instead of taking 9% out between what PayPal and If you go go takes out it wants a being about four percent So we did not hit that number, but we still have the money available to us and the goal we had we just we had a $10,000 goal over a six-week campaign Um Actually, I'm getting sidetracked Rob Thomas um great perks for it. So it's actually looking at it for more of somebody opening a door for somebody else Ability right one side of the coin that the controversy is now that that these big mega stars have come in and now kind of Tapped into kickstarter and our are you know, one side of the controversy is oh my god Zach Braff has come in and now he's stealing all this money that these small independent movies could have gotten and then the other side of the controversy is Hey, look at all this exposure kickstarter is now getting because of Zach Braff that all these people wouldn't have known about If he had never come in so It's in this this is growth Cycle and it's part of the growing pains of kickstarter. It's in this new development stage that that is going to lead it into a different door and we nobody knows what the hell is going to go And he's also has tweeted other films that he saw that he felt like needed to be Shown in one of them was a Dallas film that's a documentary on the people who are doing a lot of the cases a lot of the DNA cases I think it's called project innocence. Yes, it's project.

You're connecting with your existing fan base and these musicians are better than anybody But then you know filmmakers on saying thank you for doing this this other guy who I know who you have no idea who it is If they're stuff less and they're also on the same crowdfunding Network and that I mean I've just from just from the updates that blue has been giving About a half dozen musicians who I know idea because I don't live in New York I don't live in LA just amazing amazing stuff so that that part of the networking which goes back to what Clay was saying If you opt into the emails that you get from kickstarter in to go go once you send 20 bucks to Rob Thomas or to Zach Bradford whoever else That's where you're okay.

I can I can spare 10 bucks. I'm lunch. That's gonna be what I That's gonna be night kickstarter tip jar money whatever the case maybe and if you do that then you're subverting the system Which I think is where the whole crowdfunding thing winds up it is it's that was the original intent to Begin with is so where it's so people like Jason and I don't have to go to a studio with our hands out and Me never get an opportunity to make them maybe the tools exist to where we can do this for 10 grand 25 grand whatever And it can still put out a product that we are incredibly proud of and if it finds an audience So much better and the thing is is like it's social too.

So when I give Dev and money it sends out a notice and says hey Clay is trying to get this movie made here's a link to it And then all of a sudden somebody who didn't know about it knows about it and it spreads that word as well Fair enough.
