Lord, 2013. It is season three episode 40. The clubhouse is live and on the air we
welcome each and every one of you no matter how you're listening whether you're
listening right here on you stream live whether you're listening on our archive
or whether you subscribe via iTunes. We don't hear how you listen we're just
glad you do. My name is Rob and I enjoy puppetry. I'm gonna let that
remain here in the studio for a minute. For episodes left in season three
after tonight joining me across the desk as he has for every show this entire
season thus far as he takes a sip of his tasty beverage he is Chad. Good
evening sir. Good evening to you sir. You enjoy think of puppetry by the
channel. I wasn't gonna say that but okay. We have two special guests in studio
tonight. Our first guest at Chad missed this story earlier. Could have the
strangest t-shirt wearing it a lot of burger luck of anyone I know but to tell
that story off the air. He is Steven Zimmerman as everyone doing the night doing
well how much stuff sir. I'm doing all right just getting over allergies and joining
us tonight we have a triumphant return to the chair. She was holding on for a
bigger contract there's a bitter dispute but we got it all cleared up and she is
here she is the Justin Timberlake of this show. She's my little sister and I love
her dearly. Hi it's me Lime. Hi Kai. I miss y'all. We miss you. Rusty's already into
Chad room he's ready to go he's already chaining Chad's name getting warmed up
for next Sunday. Oh that is next Sunday I forgot to yes it is. So since at least the
second year in a row a paper piece been on father's day. It's kind of weird.
So let's get the corrections we start every show with corrections from the previous
episode we've got a couple last week I said that Neil Patrick Harris was 38 years old
he's actually 39 he will turn 40 this coming Saturday so happy early birthday to him
as we were talking about him hosting the Emmys this year and in watching last week's
rock my RV Brett Michaels is not using the bandana to hide the ball spot he actually
had a bandana pulled down on but there's hair there okay so he's not rocking the
hookin now he's not doing the hookin thing and I still do like that show last week's
episode it was a family of big foot hunters and big foot hunters yeah big
hunters and they had bought an old ambulance and converted it into an RV it was
pretty cool what he did with it go ahead Charlie you're bursting at the seams
I can't say it actually it's good thing and we talked about con teaky last week you
thought it hadn't come out yet I thought it in one of the Oscar for best form film
we were both wrong it was nominated for best form film but it did not win but
if you haven't been thinking they were doing like an English translation of it or something
like they're doing another version of it or something it would not surprise me oh and
Russ is saying next week is the week of his birthday so four episodes left in season three if you
can believe that sir I can't part of me to rent my arena around the way been around this long
let us get right into it a little bit in the escar

am busy trying to keep the show moving what she was going like this like she was

I watched the very first season they here and went yeah don't really care not into it at all

she'd get famous and nobody I couldn't even pick her out of the lineup now I know she had a weird name
but not like it but she was like it was like a normal person's name but not like every day normal
person's name don't help me out with that it's not going to hurt that's like my other theory
about if you if you took a hundred girls that worker tutors 98 of them their name but ended
the sound like like brandy like that wouldn't that have bitten Ted
yeah but he was talking about they all in like barber and taming and taming in
in the jail is in the trailer I remember seeing that I just like the bar readers
somewhere there are seven very very horrible fathers yeah he's got a new show
McFarlane's like doing her live action show this fall it's called dads with Seth Green
and oh that is that is him responsible huh does she send us a font is the same as Ted's in the
Logan yeah and they're doing it's and see cool so so if you're a fan of big brother get ready
set your DVR if you haven't already um this next item uh Chad were you a fan of this show
the first season I watched it and I just I struggled to get through it season three for the
Borges will end next Sunday and it will not be coming back you know speaking of stuff that just
ended have you watched the finale for Da Vinci's Dean jet no very disappointing really like you get to
the end and you're like that's where you're gonna end it really oh geez I was very disappointed
like I was expecting a better season finale that's like it was the end of the end it's just
the beginning of the story 2014 really so it's the softball ending well they do show a trailer for
that um white queen oh see and that's already that's already had it to run on BBC I mean it's
well I watched the trailer and I was like it does nothing but no I like the slogan
men wage battle women go to war yeah I like that but it's like it's basically the war the
roses yeah but it's like Queen Elizabeth and her husband and all that no that's two super things yeah
yeah it's because Queen Elizabeth was a commoner and she married the king and it's like how
and like he's fighting the wars and she's fighting the wars at home against the other women
that don't want her to be there uh you know what it really looks like the Jeversy Lady Jane
she's it that's what I'm saying it's it's more or less like a retelling of uh it was the first thing
ever saw hell on a bottom card or end was Lady Jane it was her and Carialis oh you're you're
lovely wife who's a British to send us join us hey look oh she got the app working she got it
up working on the android and then Russ says that he's right a season three of Redneck Island premiered
on Friday nights uh if you're listening to stone cult podcast oh my god I love the curtain
I wonder if you the other night though I'd wrap up stone don't spoil it for me I'm not going to
we're gonna wait and hit the post on the next one so the boredious will be ending it's run next
Sunday I just there was too many shows like that I guess was my problem it just yeah
but giving renewed on show time for a six season you like that like I did there
because Edy Falco apparently runs cable okay nurse Jackie is going to get a six season
from show time as the boredious will be ending it's run that's on show time as well is it yes okay
I've never watched an episode of this show I've seen two it's pretty good I just I don't have
time to watch is that a half hour an hour show uh this probably an hour I think it's an hour because
the one episode I did see all the way through was an hour so like I've watched a couple of seasons
of shameless which was it bad so I'm sure you're moved I've never watched weeds never watched
the that's seen that's pretty much done I think so I like her though oh the uh drawn a blanket
or name right now who's the girl it's star is that Mary Elizabeth she's in red right yeah
she's Bruce Willis is love interested in red I'm drawn a blank on her name Mary Louise Parker thank
you that's my girl she isn't fried green tomatoes yes one of my favorite movies have a crush on
but also in the canceled department not got it there I can't stand this dude yeah but
do you not see what I did here it's this what I think it is and what do you think it is
just there to be stupid exactly you're welcome very well but each of FX has canceled the
Russell brand talk show brand X that's the good news for you man the bad is he's getting
he's getting a sitcom on a ride to the falls you're not giving rid of him it's not good
or back because I didn't watch this and I'm sure it's hanging on a watch what they're
pulling in next such an overrated oh this guy I don't see his appeal like I mean the people
really thinks that he's funny the only funny thing I ever really heard from him was when he
hosted the NCV movie awards and he said anytime the comedy goes south I'm just gonna yell
twilight Harry Potter and just I'm gonna remember that back on board with everybody I thought
that was funny also very I don't know if I'm excited about this or if I'm upset about this
this is kind of one of those possible good news bad news situations
except timber HBO
I'll see how this is a how this is a downer for you because at least you're getting more
because it's each got a downer returning September for HBO but it's only eight episodes
and apparently it's going to take place like a couple of three years later after the last episode of last season
so it's down the road a bit I'm looking forward to you but I was like
I would like more than eight episodes especially since it's a half an hour show it's better
than again nothing at all but I would have been okay that it just ended it where it ended
I don't know maybe I'm asking too much

was it anything oh Russell saying that nurse Jackie is a 30 minute show
so much to watch this special something or it must have been a really good idea
if it was a back to back pain yeah and don't join bond don go official
fact checker the show is joined this as well we got to get that off of him because that is
aggravating I love it it's great no sorry don't it just stop all right let's move on
really the music selections throughout the show has already made the like wheels the
flex the music but it's it's like it's a character in the show yeah it should have its own chair
sometimes the electric chair as the revamping an eventual failure of American idol continues
Nigel let's go has been fired as executive producer of American idol he put a tweet
out said why is it every time I come back to America I get fired from someone but he immediately
put a post after that that said he's still gonna be on so you think you can dance so that's it's
it's just he thinks is idols trying to read I think I think it's done I just didn't you know
idols done three years ago it's been done longer than that I'm trying to be kind a little bit
why after the Taylor hit the bottle it should have never been that was the end of it for me
and who did he defeat oh I could die I didn't watch that season either Taylor Hicks
yep he defeated Chris Dautrian Catherine McFeed Catherine McFeed so I'm a little bit
Chris Dautrian came in six or four fourth yeah yeah he defeated he defeated my McFeed
that makes me upset and Dautrian's doing pretty darn well and well the reason
Dautrian got to do so well was because you know finishing not finishing first or second you
got to do pretty much whatever yeah it's not over it's not over so uh I see he did yeah
he's a song called yeah well played okay also uh to producer Ken Warwick is out on idol as well
he tried kids it's all in telling you um Kelly Clarkson of course I started down
uh Terry and it would said nobody's even asked her really so there's that she probably just
say you're not really a pop idol but she is an American idol and not too hard on the eyes
you're saying I think she's just getting too much exposure right now and I think she's going to be
very overrated soon she's pretty much carrying in that industry right now
like I wouldn't say that a lot of people we outside of her and Taylor Swift who I'm no longer
allowed to talk badly about um speaking of which in that category of my friend who's
daughter's been dealing with all the issues that she's been dealing with yes they have moved
her to a hospital in Chicago successfully wow so things are going very well for the Murphy
family and they continue to be in our thoughts so great news on that front

the couple of risks okay person of interest is a segment we do on this show where we take a
person or an entity and we debate their greatness or lack there up and she's done
I chose this week's POI for a couple of reasons one it's that time of year two somebody
that's on this show tonight has part taken in this POI in the last seven days if I'm not mistaken
oh oh hurt what you didn't am I
no am I right in this I did not do it no oh I did rain I thought it turned into a pretty nice thing
rain oh we're doing it anyway okay but don't worry I got tons to say okay it is public matter it is
summertime and many things happen in the summertime first of all congratulations to all
you kids that have graduated did you see there's a meme on on the internet today of
some kids at a high school graduation it says congratulations for completing the easiest
time in your life yeah it's all it all it's all downhill from here but one thing that a lot of
people like to take part of in the summertime is the water park now when I was a kid many many
years ago we had a place in the great city of Hollywood Florida called at six flags at
Atlantis it was then became Atlantis the water kingdom which then became a home deeper actually
then it became incredible universe never became a home deeper but also when I was a kid in
shadow I I don't know if you remember this or not if your water park's out here had the same thing
when I was a kid little kid even before Atlantis if you into a water park you had to get like this
big foam uh toboggan looking thing because they made the water slides out of out of cement
and if you fell off you just got like the worst road rash ever in the early early early days
the water park yeah like I'm talking like but I was like six or seven like like seven years early eight
yeah but nowadays you don't have because they've got the fiber last stuff now and you know we've got
a water park you know the big water park hurricane hard we're about 30 minutes from where we are
in the studio and the one in full is just like three minutes walk from my house um I miss white water
though if Disney has what two of them lizard beach and type them like that and no and then you
have the uh the one that's based on Huckleberry thin uh oh gosh what's it called oh I know you're talking
about yeah it's uh it's brand new no it was there like we were there in like two thousand
well to me that's brand new because I haven't been since it's a brand new it's something I haven't
not been because I've been to type in lingo and bulls of beach but I've not been to that one yeah
that's so same here in out in different I enjoy the water park but in my current um
the stature physical state probably not the best idea but I still do enjoy the water park
it's all about timing how so because depending on what time of day what day you go is
gonna make a break if you have a good time or not yeah this is true we like to go early Sunday
morning before church gets out because nobody's there and an empty and we can go but if you go
in the middle of the week at any time it's just take hairs and kids and it's no longer a pool it's pee
it doesn't it's just it is hey it's it's no longer an pool yeah yeah puts the pee in pool yeah
so I'm a huge fan of the water park I use truly yeah I use too but now it's like the best one is
just it's not worth the trip like it's just too far with gas like I mean we used to get season passes
now it's not worth getting a season pass because it's too expensive to go all the time yeah you just
can I mean and and for me after Disney World that was the last time I did a water park was a
Disney World in 2000 and I did those two that we mentioned uh typhoon lagoon and it was a beach after
that really you know it's it's like going back to six by extra Disney World like you just
especially for what six flags is charging yeah it's sixty bucks for adult to get into six
yeah I get to take the class they started the only the only water park I would even remotely
consider visiting would be slender bond that's it no and that's a slider bond it's cool
no let me ask this because we were talking about slider bond actually last week nobody in this
studio but my in laws were in town and we were out at at the the great vine mills are big
used to be an outward moan they were advertising slider bond at great vine mills which leads me to a
question shuttle buses no I see where I think I see where you're going we did are we getting one
oh I thought maybe you were wondering why they would kill their own buzz because of the great
wolf lodge and they've got an indoor water park and great wolf lodge right there and great vine
you were getting one no I don't see no they're probably I'm with you they're probably
shuttle busing people out there probably a charter because I know they've got one in Kansas City
because where I was there on a slider bond yeah because I was there on a business trip and it was
right by my hotel and it was like a half a mile from a great wolf lodge I want to say there's like
three other ones there's Kansas City new brawnables in South Padre Island yeah I knew they had
one over the four under they had one of the Gulf of Mexico what shocked me I didn't know that
until just fairly recently and I think they've divided the one in new brawnables like into two
parts I had heard something about that there's a slide that it beyond the lead and there's
a lot of links from one to the other and they don't like to see me they don't like to see
world thing with it now um I think so little there's actually like ride ride ride those attractions
and stuff it's not just water supply oh no they've had like the water coaster no no I'm talking
to like shows oh that oh oh oh yeah well because see world concept there don't
says the huckfin park is river country but it is now closed it is doubtful it will ever reopen again
yeah river countries long time ago it was it was up and around when we were there
one of something happened or it just wasn't popular because it was right there by the like the
the wilderness lodge and stuff it was like more or less connected to the wilderness water in the campgrounds
I'm a huge fan of water park but I'm not you but I think with what char was going with though that might be
like from a from a temperature standpoint it would definitely be a taxes but I think from a
population standpoint I think she's right though you've really got a time yeah but I mean when I was a
kid it didn't bother me now that I'm an adult I'm just like oh children kids children everywhere
like I do that every day when I'm on when I'm not working with kids I don't want to go and spend
my day with them that's not what I want to do and I tend to get real claustrophobic see because
my thing is when I go to the water park I want to get the flow and I want to float just the lazy river
that's all I want to do I want to do the slides and all that and that's fun but I also want to
do the river but I don't want to sit there just sit in the river because I can't move anywhere because
there's 90 other people you know but I mean personally I've always wanted to do the Guadalupe
thing I've heard so much about that the tubing thing yeah I did that in North Carolina once it was
okay I mean I've heard that's the way if you're into that kind of scene where you just want to drift
yeah but that's the way to do it and you gotta get back to the car well the longer you
drift the farther away from the car you know lazy river is just one big circle so what we did one
time was when we floated the river we we have we've got a house not like like a condo on the river
you're building a sluder bottom my hometown wow for Lauderdale represents you just put
him out of that she's like what's happening I thought like a computer crash I did too I thought
I was about to run for the door so I'll see you next time yeah I thought he's having a seizure
for it wanted to represent uh don't says that river country closed its operations on November
2nd 2001 uh let's see I can't read that far on January 2020 2005 Walt Disney Company announced
that river country would remain closed permanently I'll be darn you know what I bet he did there

awesome I prefer that one yeah I dislike the big thing where they dump the water in the bucket
and the bucket gets too full and the bucket dump that's just I enjoy that I want anything is
is that when we go I usually have a child with me that's the thing and the one in Roanoke is like
in the children's section they're still more things that the adults can do so it's not like
you're limited to just play in there and a little kid thing that's good yeah I like that one
the one in Garland it's just like there's a good section and then there's all the adults up over here
so the finals are on game two starts here in about 23 minutes heat spurs and the spurs do
prove me wrong they think it's in the finals and they win game one and a lot of people
of course you know they of course the spurs being like in the stew's right now but just a
quick just a quick little stat for you seven times the heat have lost game one in the finals
seven times that he'd have swept the next four games are in the playoffs but think how would one
the L one one of the playoffs all seven times they've won the next one game string so and remember

this town well to be different the cowboys could win something yeah because if you have all
that money and you're the number one sports franchise with all that money yeah but say what's

news really yeah we'll see first talked about it on his podcast and then he was on
some national show the next day talking about it talking about how rumours are great quarterback
but when it comes to closing he just poops the bed I don't think that's the wording he used
but well I mean I see what you did there oh yeah I'm more clever than I thought I was
well we don't have tickets to them anymore so that is true we don't that's because surprisingly
Cody is a realist and he's he is not making anymore excuses for the cowboys he says he's like
I'm done making excuses for them good for him so he's wanted like five people I know
is everyone else want to do this he's like they're always being my team but I mean he's like as
long as to your germs and charge they'll never win anything as you know as me being a dolphin
and rob can batch you just kind of got to be real stuff yep I have friends with like man they're
gonna win the two rolls like whoa we gotta get over six wins come on that I'm madden yes we can

called kinky boots which is a based on a fill in the same name she did all the music for it
it's up for 13 Tony Awards never heard of it so congratulations it is Cindy Loppa she's going to be
in town playing house abuse here sometimes it although she already did did I miss it I thought I saw
somebody sing something about it why did you play and I'm going no I'm just trying to help
sister out you're like did I miss it I'm like like you were gonna go I did I did I because I
had it you know to talk about I don't sure if I missed the date or not although I know the only

know Gordon Kennedy has not been with the band since this album pretty sure it was here this
album or the next one he laughed he might have been on powerhouse so he hasn't been with the band in
20 years John Knox on drums who's an amazing drummer Anthony Sally on bass and Billy Smiley
now Smiley and Gershmo are the two founding members of the band are the only two guys that were
there from beginning to end from the early 80s to the late 90s I am very very very very that I mentioned
