It is Sunday night, it is 702 on the East Coast and is 402 on the West Coast.
It is Cinco de Mayo, which oddly enough falls on the 5th of May, in the year of our
Lord, 2013, it is season 3, episode 36, the clubhouse is live on the air.
We welcome you each individually.
We don't care how you listen, we're just glad you're here, whether you're live right
here on Ustream with us, whether you are listening on our archive, which seems to be
getting shorter and shorter every week, I'm sure it's going on there.
Or if you're listening via iTunes, or maybe any combination they're in, we don't care
how you listen, we're just glad that you're here.
My name is Rob, and I am looking forward to a really good night sleep tonight.
It's all I'm saying.
Good, joining me across the desk as he tends to do about this time, about this day of
the week at least three times a month because he's not across the desk on the 4th week,
he's usually standing till my right, when we're live.
He is Chad.
Good evening, sir.
Good evening, sir, how are you?
Oh, fine, you know, it amazes me how it always just so happens that Cinco de Mayo always
falls on May 5th.
I don't know how they worked out.
I don't know either.
I just can't believe nobody tried the revenge of the 5th before this dive never heard of that
form of shit.
Yeah, same here.
Because of course, it actually was in an intergalactic Star Wars day, made the 4th
be with you.
Kind of like silvestors having a bad air, good, good.
By the way, pluckers did not make it to sunrise, the leftovers were gone last night.
You said that.
Yeah, they said that will wake you up back in the theater.
We have two guests in studio tonight sitting across the desk from me on the 12 o'clock
position as Chad's usually sits at the 1030 position.
He joined us last night for our viewing of Iron Man 3, which we'll talk a little bit
about in movie talk.
He could probably have the coolest t-shirt in the room.
He is Andrew Beckham.
Oh, well, thank you for having me on show.
And he's the king of bowling.
Yeah, yes, king of bowling.
You have me on the show.
Great movie.
Last night.
Yeah, we'll talk about it.
We'll talk.
And at the 130 position from from the console for the second week in a row and wearing
a shirt that might as well be a name tag.
He is bar bar.
How's it going, guys?
How's the show last night, sir?
Oh, it's good.
It was kind of a beating because they had the big.
Oh, that's right.
You guys were outside.
Yeah.
No, we weren't outside.
We didn't know.
Barbar is also a local karaoke host.
We actually squeezed it into the bar area.
It was, it was the other side.
Yeah.
Oh, God.
It was a beautiful night, too.
Zero room.
As we always do, you start this show with corrections and we break the street this week.
Listen back, we were clean.
Good, good.
But when Don's in the room, that tends to happen.
Yes, sir.
When Fondongo is in the room, he is usually a, yeah, I'm kind of wondering maybe if
he's resting today.
He was at Jimmy Buffett last night, so he may not be awake.
We hope he's in the room at some point.
Steven's here.
Russ is here.
Is today, maybe I thought maybe he was made first.
Hmm.
Now that may be right.
I got nothing.
So let's get right into a little bit of NASCAR.
There's not much nice kind of talk about it right now, because we are, we are green.
Yes.
We've got about 50 laps to go from Talladega.
The best lap was done in 42.288 seconds.
Your current standing is right now.
Fifth place is Josh Wise.
We have never said his name on the show.
I don't think no.
Joey Logano fourth, Reagan Smith, third, David Gilliland, another guy who I've never
never think would ever mention on this show.
Bobby Lobani is your current leader, 132 out of 188.
Barb wire.
We toss it across the table to you.
May day is the first, by the way.
I was it.
Okay.
So to give us a, update of why does this race taking so long?
Well, I would, the clouds decided to open up this afternoon.
And they, they had to arrange the lake what?
Two hours now.
Wow.
Now, now, now, I make no, no bones about the fact that I am NASCAR stupid.
Okay.
Explain to other viewers, other viewers, listeners that we have that are NASCAR stupid
like me.
What, when it rains, how bad does it have to get before they'll stop the race?
How long do they have to wait before they restart the race?
Well, it's, as far as how bad before they call the race, they've got to see it, like
impending like it's going to be raining a long time and they're not going to be able
to finish the race the same day.
And if they've gone past the halfway point in a race, they will call it an official race.
Yes.
But we were passed the halfway point.
So what made them decide not to call the race?
Well, because they have plenty of daylight left in the day after it stopped.
Now, will they do that if the attract is equipped for night racing?
No.
Well, so if they're equipped for night racing, then they'll, and it, you know, say it's
five in the evening and they, because it usually takes two to three hours to dry the track after
it stops raining.
And as long as they can get it in, they'll race it, like they did a few years in Daytona
when it was rained out on Sunday.
So was it decided in this case that it wasn't raining hard enough to call the race?
So they get the track and ride it enough time to restart.
Yeah, it was like a 15, 20 minute thunderstorm that they had.
Breaking news, Matt Kenseth is now your leader, Bobbi LaBonti has dropped a second Martin
Truex Jr. is now in third, Reagan's fifth and fourth, and Eric Almond Rolla's fifth.
That's we are in lap 134.
And that'll probably change halfway through the lap, because it is Talodagan things happen
quickly.
And they really only had one big caution for a wreck.
And it was caused by a cowl bush.
You kind of just made a bonehead and move and he made it to it.
That's the cursing machine that is Brad keselowski.
Yeah.
That's not what I want.
Because we don't have we don't have official results for you yet, because the race is
it over.
I'm sure the race will be over by the time we get off air.
But we've got two races in the same calendar week because we don't race on Mother's Day.
Your next race will be the Bojangles Southern 500 from Darlington and Darlington South
Carolina.
That's going to be a Saturday, does not say who's airing the race though.
Probably be Fox, because they're in their part of this season.
And that's of course sponsored by the greatness of Bojangles, which is a fried chicken
joint.
Yummy.
People don't dance there.
It's not a man's step-all, it's not like, but I love there if they're fine
work.
Stephen, who's in the chat room says they checked the radar regularly and the storm
wasn't heavy with this much time left in the day.
Yeah.
And apparently the IRL race he says it was really, really good.
So, and Russ is agreeing with me that fun, don't go, may have had too many margaritas.
So, I'm sure he had a great time or too much sun.
Yeah.
Let's go ahead and move on, because we got nothing else to tell you, and we're going to talk
about a little TV talk.
Do you like that?
See what I did there.
Now, apparently what I've got written on the run sheet is not exactly the full story.
So, I'm going to do something that we don't do very often in a lead story in this segment,
I'm going to toss it over to Chad.
Well, go ahead and read what you had written down.
Um, let's just go ahead and just start by saying, if you're on two and a half men or
was now going to be two men and sometimes another guy that might be a man show, you're
making a lot of money.
You're getting paid, basically.
Well, apparently John Crier got a race, but for some crazy reason, Ashton Kutcher
is still making one money, but he is, even though John Crier is the only real original
cast member that's still a regular cast member, but they bumped his salary up from 600 to
600.
But Kutcher is still making 700.
I got that on me.
Oh, and now, by the way, Kurt pushing that one fifth place.
But this effectively makes Ashton the highest paid sitcom actor on TV.
Yes, it does.
Fifth and the point four million.
And the cuteness.
Something wrong.
Something wrong.
With the universe.
Really?
Many levels.
So, I don't know if you guys know much about this next show.
I don't know what's going on with it.
I don't know what's going on with it.
I don't know.
I don't know what's going on with that.
I don't know.
I don't know what's going on with that.
It's just kind of been a bad version of the song.
If you've ever heard of a mortal manner, does anybody ever heard of that show this
room?
No, no.
It is a reality show.
The only reason I know about it is because I watched the suit.
It's a reality show that takes place in what is known as an upscale trailer park in
South Carolina.
Oh, fun!
Don, go!
Has made it!
He said the buffet show was great, and they are chancing your names, sir.
And Steven says you don't got to hooked on Scotty Peas, he's been there three times
in the last week.
Isn't that an oxymoron?
Upscale trailer park?
Oh, yeah, but you should see this thing.
The highlights they show on this suit, this is the reason the rest of the world hates
us.
I'm just saying, there's head of security, O's God IQ points.
He's, and he has the small mustache that's the width of his nose.
I'll mute them.
Yeah, mute the mics for just a second, hold on, take up your headphones.
And we're back.
Yeah, yeah, that's what Joe McHale, so apparently it's been, by the way, Rust says the race
will be on Fox 745 Eastern, I'm excited about it, we're all over the map today.
It's been renewed for season two.
Is it a CMT thing?
What channel is that on?
I think it's on like the history channel or something.
What?
The South Carolina channel.
Fondango, look up and let me know what channel, um, Birdle Manor, Birdle Manor is
actually on.
It's on my own.
I want it in bright television.
I want to say it's TLC, but don't get me lion, but it's been renewed for a second
season.
It's probably on something.
But yeah, this show, you, I mean, to call this show a train wreck would be an insult
to train wreck.
I just, the highlights they show on the soup.
If I don't random that you just hear this phone call, it's me beating my head against
my coffee table watching the highlights from this show, it just makes me dumber.
Rusted with on TLC.
So we have, we have somebody else in the room, a big, cron one and you've got a line
on this.
Welcome.
I don't know.
I'm a friend of mine for more studies listening.
You might be a good team.
Cool.
We got four guests in the right team.
Awesome.
We love having new people.
We have, don't just be a guest, be a log in user right here on Ustream, it doesn't
cost you anything.
Join our crowd.
Dr. Drew has said there will not be another addition of celebrity rehab.
He is saying that this show is really becoming taxing on him, five former cast members
have died.
Mindy McCree was the most recent Rodney King, Jeff Connoway, Mike Star and Joey Covar.
Oh, he says he has a friend here, everybody.
But one of the things Dr. Drew said in this interview that I read an entertainment weekly,
he's like Rodney King has a heart attack and somehow that's my fault.
Because past, you know, it's his fault that he was in the pool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's where Bob and Tom, when that happened, their tagline was, wait, Rodney King
had a pool?
So there will be no more celebrity rehab.
So if you're into that show, I guess hip hop, love and hip hop in Atlanta, it's still
there for you.
You are listening to the clubhouse.
We are live each and every Sunday night, seven o'clock Eastern, four o'clock Pacific.
If you miss any section of the show, it will be available almost immediately on archive
right here on your stream.
But you can also subscribe on iTunes.
If you do subscribe on iTunes, please do us a solid and leave us a review.
I'm kind of gone, the wells kind of gone dry and our reviews a little bit.
We want to get those numbers up.
So help us out.
Good battering different.
Make sure you check out our Facebook page.
Make up the clubhouse podcast, make sure you put the word podcast there.
It's something completely different if you don't.
You can follow this show on Twitter at clubhouse show.
You can follow me on Twitter, and yes, that Rob Irvin, that is spelled ERV-I-N.
I am at Chad N.P.G.69.
I am at King of Boeing, and I barbed wire, seven, four.
And we have found Don Go, who is the official fat checker of this show.
He makes sure that we keep the ship on the straight and narrow.
Rotten Russ 72 for Russell, Charlotte Parker on Pinterest, our little sisters on the road
this weekend.
So we hope she gets home safely.
I want to say they are in Louisiana somewhere.
Is it where they went?
Thanks, that's okay.
Yeah, I think they made a home already.
I talked to you.
Oh, did they?
I've heard from me.
It's all right.
I like.
And since we got your one-stop shop for all thing entertainment and sports, let's go to sports
and talk a little NBA.
A couple of announcements, congratulations to LeBron James.
He gets his fourth MVP award, and he is only the second person ever to be one vote
shy of a unanimous vote.
Shack did it.
But he also gives him very, very, very select company as he is only the fourth person
in NBA history.
I'm sorry, he's the fifth with at least four.
Little Jordan Bill Russell, Karim Abdel Jabar and Wilk Chamberlain.
He is also the youngest person ever to have four MVP's.
So there is that.
Also, one day after the next, lose their game seven, two, the bulls, coach PJ Carlysemo
is out as interim head coach of the next.
Personally, I do not understand this move.
I mean, the net's had a good year.
Yeah.
They just moved to Brooklyn.
You got to the playoffs.
You took Chicago seven, seven games.
Now, Chicago beat up pretty bad.
I was going to say the argument could be made that Chicago was limping going into this
phase.
But I like PJ Carlysemo.
He's a little weird, but I like the guy.
Yeah.
The problem with that is they have Joe Johnson, who eats up like 120 million other salary
cap over the next five years and he's terrible today's action.
As the one half of the Western conference, semi finals gets underway, Oklahoma City beats
a Memphis by two on a last check in shot by Kevin Durant.
They now lead that series one nothing and Indiana, New York, one half of the Eastern
conference, semi finals.
Indiana beats New York, 102, 95 to take a one game lead in that series.
Shocking.
Shocking.
Go in again.
Of course, your other two series get underway tomorrow as Chicago goes to Miami
and the early game and then golden state at San Antonio in the late game.
Here is where San Antonio either makes me the smartest man alive or proves me wrong.
This is where it happens today.
Now golden state beatable.
I don't think they sweep them, but I think golden state is beatable.
Yeah, this is probably where you're going to stay San Antonio's age with or also anyway.
And I think we're also going to see if this long layoff helps or hurts Miami because
we've been waiting for a week.
I actually spent a week with a week today, wasn't it?
But they swept Milwaukee.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think so, because it was first been like eight or nine days too.
And both of those games on your local TNT cable channel, whatever that is, figure it out.
I'm not here to help you with that.
Try 35.
Mine's somewhere in the 1100s, I think, it's like a 11 or four of them.
And then you have TNT West.
Because if I miss any part of Resolvian Isles, I can wait two hours and watch it on
the West Coast.
Yes.
Apparently, that shows like doing game buster ratings for them.
They're two really good track of women.
Angie Harman, just don't get up to you.
Is she still married to Jason's Eron?
No idea.
Because that whole thing went kind of.
When he left the NFL, that whole thing went silent.
I guess.
Yeah.
No.
Make sure you join us two weeks from tonight.
WWE Extreme Rules, we will be live in Fox and Hound in Richardson, Texas.
Just west of Central Expressway on Campbell Road, five bucks get you in the door for
a car that's going to get kind of weird before too much longer with the way things
are right now.
But we'll be there doing the show live at seven Eastern, just like in our normal show.
They have Tasty food.
Oh, the food's so good there.
We always have a lot of fun.
The empires there.
We love having all of our friends out there.
Make sure you join us.
Updates from Talodegu, your top five right now, David Gilliland, Marcus Ambrose.
Do you think you think, Vince?
He's ten house junior now in third place, Carl Edwards, and then Matt Kensett is your
top five and we are in lap 150.
Let us get on to some.
We're not going to do Sarah McClockwood because we have two music deaths to get into a music
talk.
We're just going to do tributes to both of them.
The first one, Chris Kelly dies at 34.
He is the Mac Daddy half of Chris Cross, the darker skin brother.
Yeah.
He is believed to have been drug-related.
His mother said he had been doing speed balls as soon as the night before because
of all the money he got from this so-so-defer union concert that we literally watched
what four days before this happened.
Apparently, I had also read reports that he had been battling cancer even since
the Chris Cross days.
That was a myth, apparently.
Oh, was it that was that an urban legend?
Yeah, he had like a, a cool, to hear him say it.
It was back in 09.
He went on YouTube and said, no, I don't have cancer.
I've got a condition that causes my hair to fall out in patches.
Oh, I'm not, I'm not undergoing chemotherapy.
I forget what the affliction was, but he debunked that, but you never know.
But apparently after the so-so-defer union show, he had been seen, I don't know,
the club seen with a lot of local Atlanta rappers and there were drugs involved and a very,
very tragic ending at 34 years total in a shame.
And then also another big loss, especially if your name is barbed wire.
Yeah.
This was a complete shot.
Slayer guitarist Jeff Hammond dies at 49.
The original of prognosis was liver failure.
Yeah.
What you think about it, you go, your surprise, there's not more of this in that genre,
especially of bands from the 80s.
But then what we find out is the liver failure may or may not have been a result of an infection
that spread through his body from a spider bite.
Two years ago.
Oh, God.
Two years ago.
A spider bite.
Two years ago.
What kind of spider?
They don't know.
They didn't get, they didn't get the spider when it bit him.
God, all right.
He was arrested by the way that Angie Herman and she's the owner of the Mary.
He was in a friend's hot tub and got bit on the arm by spider.
And almost lost his arm because of the infection.
I had spider.
I really hate spiders.
Oh, that's right.
That's why I don't like spider men.
But I hate spiders.
Dude, nobody's, nobody's more a rat and a full begin this room than spiders and snakes.
Because it's just like Bill and Envol said, snakes can walk in and got no legs.
That's evil.
That's in the Bible.
They think that it possibly was a browner clue.
The way that it would have killed him sooner than that.
Well, the way it ate his skin off.
And because he had multiple surgeries to get rid of all the decayed skin.
Okay.
Wow.
So biocone deals the oath of those gentlemen.
And as you said when I texted you, I'm a Thursday when this happened, your response
to me was he was a guy that wrote most of their great songs.
Yeah.
He wrote, he wrote South of Heaven, more ensemble, rain and blood.
I mean, there's a lot of arguments.
Yeah.
He wrote him.
Usually the first dance at the wedding reception.
He and Carrie King formed Slayer in 81.
Has it been that long?
Yeah.
The first dance at a wedding.
The bride and groom will now dance to South of Heaven by Slayer.
Done on cellos.
And birds upon the lipstick.
I never looked.
Raining.
I looked.
I looked.
I was a kid with the clothes in the hair.
Listening to Slayer.
You're the adult with the clothes in the hair.
What do you talk about?
That's a valid points.
You resemble that.
You're consistent.
I respect you for the ad man.
I was the same from what he's read.
It was a drama close.
Yeah.
We get instant feedback in the chat room.
If you're a user here on on you stream, you can give us instant feedback.
We love it in the chat room.
We acknowledge it as much as we can while we can keep the flow of the conversation going.
Now let's go from something tragic to maybe there is some good in the universe.
We play this song.
Thank you.
Oh.
Oh.
Go something tragic.
Something more tragic.
This song.
There's a musical in London right now.
That's called Viva Forever.
And it's a musical all of the from the music of the Spice Girl.
Which would think what is that 15 minutes long?
They had two albums.
Maybe three.
I guess should get counted.
There's some forever.
Why don't they call it Viva 180.
180.
Well, you got to, you got to realize.
Think of, I want you to, I want you to, I want you to just chew on this for me.
I don't want to.
This song.
This song.
Right here.
No.
No one that's playing.
Right now.
It was 17 years ago.
Sorry.
I told you not to say it.
Kids that were born when this song released are seniors in high school.
Almost legal to smoke.
Maybe not New York for too much longer.
If you heard about that, you don't try to pass the law 21.
21 to buy cigarettes.
Because I don't have a problem with that.
Because the mayor hasn't screwed enough of it.
Yeah.
But it's going to close.
The Viva Forever is going to close.
And London's pillow pick a W theater after a run of six months.
Man.
They'll make enough money to live off forever.
They already do.
But I saw a picture of the cast of this thing.
And I was like, I don't know if they were trying to cast people that maybe look like the
Spice Girls or if this was like an American idiot thing.
It really isn't.
It's not really green dead.
No.
It's a British idiot.
Very confused.
Very confused.
It may be like one of the judges on or won't be one of the next judges on America.
It's got talent.
Because I don't share it.
It's out.
It seems like I read that she's taking her place.
Yeah.
She.
She said she was leaving because of the Jack Osborne thing.
Yeah.
And now with this Aussie thing that they're going through.
There aren't.
But did she say they're separated right now?
No.
Oh, she did.
They're debunking all that.
They're saying that they're not getting a divorce.
But I know.
I thought she had said at this point they were not sleeping in the same house.
Like they were separated for the time being.
Maybe wrong.
Because I've never worked against.
That's never happened on the show.
Her work schedule on his work.
He's going on tour.
Yeah.
Even though he was staying at a hotel.
Right down the street from where the house was.
No problems or anything.
New.
Well, maybe that he thought he was at home.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I spent the 90s trying to figure out.
I spent the late 80s trying to figure out how to zoom a zoom with a boom boom.
I spent the 90s figuring out trying to figure out how to zoom a zoom.
Much less how to zoom.
If you find it down and wind it all around.
If you spend more than 2.5 seconds trying to figure that out.
Who are you talking to?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I want to get a.
Reup on your man.
Is the 2.5 seconds to an hour.
Conjo West deletes 98% of his Twitter account.
But tweet the other day.
June 18.
A lot of people think that's going to be the release of his new album.
And then he has said they have said that he and the Kim Kardashian are going to marry
after the birth of the child.
This is my favorite part.
And the media is not allowed.
Then don't tell everybody when you're going to do it tomorrow.
She's not playing with a full deck anyway.
That did.
But there's got a full deck between them.
There's the 90s who's the kid.
There's.
There's.
That's a whole lot of.
That's a whole lot of stupid in that relationship.
If they had half a brain, they'd still only have half a brain.
Fine.
Don't go.
It's just a separation at this point for for the for the Osborne.
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
The aerial photos or any of the photos from Michael Jordan's wedding last weekend?
Holy crap.
Like, there was a pavilion complex.
It's the only way I can say there's an aerial shot.
If you look at it, there's something took an aerial shot of his house.
They got married on the grounds of his.
Like, size of a small country is state.
And like, I saw some of the pictures and I was like.
I just know more wedding should happen.
That just says a bar.
Yeah.
No woman on earth will ever be satisfied.
Thank you, Michael.
Yeah.
Thanks for that.
Appreciate that.
And then we also have another new release.
Announcement.
Love this song.
Not the one I was hoping you were going to play.
I know.
But I just like to song a lot.
And he played this on CSI once.
Do you remember the episode where Mark Helgenberg's character got drugged?
Yeah.
He was playing this song in the bar.
Oh, cool.
I really started to come around.
This can't.
I could stand.
I'm a fan of the mayor.
For one song.
Do you listen to him while you go to sleep?
From a personal standpoint.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
No.
But musically, the guy's great.
John Mayer says his new album will be out by the end of the summer.
And this is the same John Mayer that is just coming off throat surgery.
Like a Dell have re couldn't talk for months at a time.
But still showed up at the crossroads guitarist festival.
And tore the house down in this G.
Did he play that?
He had to have played that.
I don't know what he played.
It's the name of the dead gum.
Show for God's things.
Have you ever heard his cover of Crossroads?
Why?
No.
Play it up to the show.
John will cue it up right now.
Go ahead.
It is so good.
It's just.
It's got a vibe to it that you just.
Like the.
You talking the two-pot Crossroads?
No.
No.
No.
Do you hear Clapton's Crossroads?
Oh, yeah.
This is his version of it.
I wait for it.
Just wait for it.
What he does with the vocal is amazing.
Yeah.
He adds a second vocal and octave lower.
Really?
But of course it's slower.
It's half the speed of Clapton.
But listen.
I love his version.
It's not Clapton.
Nobody's Clapton.
But I love his version of this song.
But his new album will be out by the end of the summer.
His tour actually kicks off in early July.
So I'm thinking maybe they'll probably drop it about the same time.
In news that kind of creeps me out a little bit.
Yeah.
Because you're like 12 still in my brain.
Apparently she didn't see the pictures of the pink.
Danielle Fischer.
Is that how you do it?
I was just like really?
Like when the Emma Watson come her hair off that word for her.
It doesn't work.
Yeah.
I've been bleached it white.
No.
Maybe it's all the pairs.
It's good luck with all that Thor's brother.
It's all I'm saying.
Hemsworth the lesser.
And then we had this came down early this morning.
There was some scheduled to play a concert at Indonesia this coming Saturday.
But they have canceled this show two days after two men are arrested as suspected militants
with bombs that were allegedly headed towards the Myanmar embassy.
Yeah.
And there was there's supposed to be like 15,000 people with this thing.
Wow.
They have apologized to the fans.
They're going to try to reschedule it.
But they just they're that's not what they're saying is the reason.
But this is what's going on.
Yeah.
They're going to reschedule it back in the United States and invite them over here.
They'll still stream it.
Yeah.
Everybody come out of the soccer stadium.
We're going to just put a bunch of video screens up.
They'll cost you about 150 bucks ahead.
Maybe they'll just do the the holograph thing.
And apparently out of you heard the stones are doing.
Because you know the cheap seats at the stone shows are like $130.
What they're doing is they're waiting now.
Like the tickets have already been sold.
But the day of the show once they get the stage set up.
If there's any other seats they can sell, they're going to open them up that day.
And some of them maybe down low, some of them may be up high.
Yeah.
Whatever opens up will give us someone.
Just think of it.
The ones that are almost behind the stage.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just I don't know.
I just rather watch the DVD.
I'm going to that point.
I think I'll just pass on the whole thing.
You're not seeing it all.
Fair enough.
Not a big fan of this.
No.
Not of a live show, especially.
Not at this.
Not at this stage in their career.
While he's doing his chicken walk.
Yeah.
And then another announcement comes out from this guy.
Love this elbow.
Oh yeah.
Love this album that I mentioned.
I love this album.
I'm aware of that.
So I'm like love unlimited.
I was like there was a trumpet right before.
Just in Timberlake says that part two of the 2020 experience now has a release date.
It will be September 30th.
Didn't Questlove kind of leak this out accidentally.
I don't know.
But I'll be picking that up too.
If part two is just as good at least if as this one, I'm in.
Because I love this direction he's taking.
This whole album is one of those you just sitting on the front porch on a beautiful afternoon
and just watching the world go by.
That's what this album is.
From what I've read, this is kind of the one you're really should be looking forward to.
This is really all the Jay-Z materials going to be.
I think so.
Yeah.
They said that they kind of left some of the silver bullets.
Oh no.
They said they got a whole album worth of material.
Yeah.
Just like why is it not out right now?
This is a good jam here too.
Yeah, I said it.
I like this song.
Here.
You gave me this look.
You gave me this look.
What?
Music, music, music.
It ain't your local, speak.
Can I just talk about music and release it just a second?
I went to a local establishment to my job.
The other day.
Because I had some time to kill and I don't want to say the name of this local establishment.
But it does tend to have buys that are the best I've seen in certain places.
Like you know what I want to see what kind of CDs I can look at their entire CD selection is like one row
Yeah, either side almost it's all together. It's not even separated by genre anymore, and you know whenever the past couple times
I've gone into the big yellow ticket. They have told me that they don't even control their inventory
Oh, no, it's it's always been most places that carry music. It's an outside vendor. Yeah
They're not even in their CDs. There's no organization there at all. There's what we don't even do that
When I worked in incredible universe, it was the same way the music was a separate company because of the
Distribute it's because of the distribution and how it works with things like sounds can and things like that
They have to use certain vendors
But you know in case you were once a 12-year-old girl in the 90s these guys have a new album coming out this week
Nick Lacky in the boys
Seriously that episode we're having him in Jessica's system hosted sorry that live and Jimmy Fallon was doing his morning
Well, we're back. Oh, God God Nick Lacky just farted in the break
98 degrees releases 2.0 didn't they do more than one album the first time?
Or just that this version of them two point out it's got like did they replace them?
Did what it and members or something isn't one of them like a senator or something now?
At one time, they wanted one of the one looking me. I don't know at one time one of the guys in 90 degrees was like a state senator or something
Why are you're the car carrying member the 98 degrees bank?
Just because it's just because they just because it refers to his fire does not mean
Also an album that I'm very intrigued by and only about half the people in this studio
Even probably know who this person is and I wish I could place a material, but I can't
Courtney Jay
Release his her first big album love and forgiveness and if you don't know who she is gentlemen
Remind me after the show and I'll play you who she is you could probably play like the opening verse of the night
I'd lay you down, but you'd have to cut it off for a template. Yeah, but it would take a minute and a half just to get to her part of it
She is currently touring as the duet partner for a comedian by the name of Stephen Lynch
Who is she as Christy Leon the Bobbi Tom shows says voice of an angel lyrics from the devil
Remind me after the show. I'll understand the probably the two best tracks on the album. I've heard so far
But she's she's first of all. She's absolutely beautiful
gorgeous and she's got a gorgeous voice too. I mean, she's
If she's not successful, I'll be very sad
Also a new album from some guys we haven't heard from in a minutes
On the clubhouse. No, that's oh that's the wrong version poop hold on
I forgot I got the karaoke version in here too
Ah, this is the one where
They kind of disappeared for a while Johnny residents in the boys from Google dolls are back
Where they were the brand new album that is called magnetic
They've been chasing dizzy up the girl for about a decade now. Well a decade and a half great album. Yeah, and they've done good work
I thought uh gutter flour. I thought was a pretty good album. I kind of fell off with them after that, but
Still one of my favorite songs right now. Long way down. One of my favorite songs they've ever done
Yeah, I had a great album called a boy named goo
This was called
And then we go from a doll one rocking band to a rocking individual
Hey
Joe satry on he releases a brand new album this week called unstoppable momentum
And as Russ said in the chat room
We have a brand new album from a favorite of my wife's as lady intavellum release is golden this week
That's a pretty grown-up fan too
Is she so much she is the daughter of
Linda who's a chick from fornamblons that does all the writing now hunt no that's an actress
Also an actress now that that's her daughter the chick that wrote out. I want to miss a thing
Oh, okay, um, oh, man. We could sit here in the fornamblons
She is the daughter of her father. There you go. Done
Speaking of people that nobody really wants to remember Natalie mains
Formerly of Dixie chicks released a surfer solo album called mother and no one will care
But she's turning and actually I she's saying well, I really never liked the country news to begin with
There's a lot of words I can't stand this show. I'm going to say try to go pop
I don't know the beat folk. I hope she goes boom
Pistol Anis which features
Miranda Lambert and that you talk about three good looking girls yeah ladies. How you don't yeah
Pistol Anis released and any up a m and i e because you see what they did that
Yeah, that really says this week Rod Stewart releases is newest album called time
Which apparently he has nothing but because he's 140 years old
She and him which is the band with the Zoe Dixie now
Release volume three. I must have missed all you two because I thought they only had one album. Let's take him to Christmas album
Tell me quali releases prisoner of conscience, but aren't we all
conscious and your
musical guest on SNL
This week with the Kristen week vampire weekend released modern vampires of the city
Russ says her mother is when the Davis. That's her name
The chick from Henry Scott. Henry Scott. It's good. Look girl
You are listening to the clubhouse live every Sunday night seven eastern four pacific
We appreciate you being here
Once again resetting I am Rob and I kind of executive producer show and press all the buttons and move all the levers
My broadcast partner now for almost a last year almost the last year and a half of this show
For certainly losing his mind on the other side of the desk. I get the chat room a little bit and saw a dongle
I will get my viola
Wait for that
The voice of Chad
Joining us in studio tonight's king of bowling and Drew Beckham
Hello everyone and
The great legendary barbwire
You know, it's on our out there. There's a man getting out his viola
I was supposed to say God speak to you. What's Chad's referencing right now
Barbwire informed me this past week that stone cold Steve Austin has a podcast and I have been listening to it
wheels fighting through it's all
You think DNA is rublet me let me just say first of all
It's not family friend
I'm telling you that going into it
And it's not even the commercials no, our family friend. No
It has its moments where it hurts to hear
Tell you skip the fly episode
That's the next one. That's not actually said to go let's combine sports and entertainment as we talk wrestling
By the way, um, I just want to let you know Barbwire since you're you're looking at your smartphone
Go to Doc's Facebook page and look at what he did this weekend. That's all I can't say it
Let's do wrestling talk. See him punk
Is not on the WWE schedule until at least summer slam the two shows he was booked for in late June
He has now been taken off up
So whatever this sabbatical is, I don't know if he's injured or if he's just hanging out with leader
This is happening kids
He'll stay the ratings. Oh, I'll leave it. Steven Zermos. It's called the Steve Austin show
Literally this just what's called
And speaking of the Steve Austin show his second interview guest his first interview guest in episode two is is
HBK which is a great interview because Steve said going in
I'm not gonna ask you the same questions you've had to answer a billion times. That's why that's why I
They have a great number so even though it's over the phone and phone reviews are yeah
The only it would have been better if it was well the only interviews we've ever done this show
We've been over the phone and it's tough to do because there's like a delay
Because I'm pretty sure Victoria and San Antonio are very far apart from each other in Texas
Well, actually
Steve's in LA
That now the whole episode about him his wife taking into get a facial in a manny petty
I was almost in tears
I think it's episode three just listening to what he goes through but
The second interview that he does is with UFC fighter Chale Sunnan
Yeah, Chad showed me
He just found the picture
And he's done
Paging the wheels from the show the wheels from the show please report back to the studio
um
But Chale Sunnan says when he retires from the UFC he wants to buy the WWE
Okay, he says he has taken apparently he's been taking meetings with investor friends of his from around the world
Right now the company is worth about a half a billion dollars
Which means Vince is worth at least twice what his company's worth
Now the official statement from WWE
We are a publicly traded company and if Mr. Sunnan wants to be a stakeholder more than welcome to
But you know in that interview I learned a couple of things number one
This last season of the ultimate fighter which was great
Dana has given contracts to every one of those guys. Yeah, yeah, and
In the 90s Chad I don't know if I told you this but in the 90s Chale Sunnan spent time at the WCW power plan
Oh, yeah, we talked about that the other nine. Yeah, that awesome wheel
And yeah, he says his walk around ways like 230 something yeah, and then and then he cost weight
They cost him was just like you'd be perfect. Yeah, but he's like I'm not gonna do both because I'm a loyalty guy
Which I was a great and I love Chale Sunnan. He's a little weird and he did leave and he said
Maybe possibly later
Vince wants to talk the guy can cut a promo
Yeah, yes. Oh, wow
Sir
Apparently I've got my Twitter feed open right now and Mark Henry had posted a
Tweet about 10 minutes ago. I guess they're doing a signing somewhere or an appearance
Okay, and he said before people get down on me as a bad guy
Just want to know got no problem meeting with you, but don't pat me like I'm a puppy
Oh, and then a minute ago somebody retweights
Mark Henry and the Uso's just showed why that there were people to meet in person beyond rude
So somebody's gonna do a Twitter wall with Mark Henry. Nice
Let's talk her off. We have to
And I want to start with Sina
I don't care
Oh, I want to go back before we get to this. I need to go back a little bit. I apologize
As of last week and I'm gonna say something that's gonna shock you
I'm gonna this is a shocking statement. I'm about to make because I still can't believe I'm making it
Going back to music talk for just a minute
I will now no longer say bad things about Taylor Swift
Okay
As we talked about in the show a couple of weeks ago an old friend of mine who was one of my trainees at a past job that I have to live in St. Louis
Her daughter was jogging. She has seven kids
One of her daughters was jogging in LA and got hit by a car and she's been an intensive care for like two months now
Last Tuesday or Wednesday Taylor Swift just stopped by the hospital to visit with the family
So I am no longer saying bad things about Taylor Swift
She just get wind of it or I don't know how it got inside folks. I don't know how it happened
All I know is I saw a picture on Facebook of Taylor Swift with one of her other daughters in the hospital
Maybe the hospital was got connection maybe I don't know but I'm not she may be crazy as a loon
And I may not agree with her personal choices, but you know what respect
That is kind of cool so now we can go on the rest of talking about raw because that's what triggered this because love
Sina or hate Sina. I don't care how you feel about John Sina
The dude gets charity he gets it yeah now the the segment they did with the make a wish kids
Got a little weird for me at a couple of points
Because it was like she didn't kind of stuck the mic in their faces and the kids just kind of like
Dude, there's 18,000 people looking at me right now
But the fact that he went on the today show told the kid he was gonna be his personal guest for raw
Then had two more families with two more make a wish kids respect
I don't I I'm going to certainly agree with everything that dude does
I don't think he's a great in-ring worker
But
Plus that that he is working through the injury
And he did tweet out today that
He's gone two days without tape on the ankle and he's feeling fine. This wasn't a killie surgery. Yeah
Good side lining me. Yeah, I mean side lining for a while right now
Do something to put it with punk out
Yeah, they don't they don't have anybody
I don't know if you guys watched any of the matches on raw
Orton and
Orton and Cody Rhodes
One of the sickest superplexes I had ever seen in the history of this business
Did it break the ring it almost could have because they were both on the top turn buckle when he pulled it
It wasn't like one of them was on the second turn buckle
They're both balanced and I'm the thing and plan on
Impressive impressive impressive
But we got to do something with Orton. We have to do something with him
Let's see where are we and by the way I also clocked this
And I don't know if if fun don't go official fact checker of the clubhouse check this realizes or not
But if you take the make-a-wish segment out
We when Orton Orton was the first promo of the show 40 minutes in
Which I don't know what that says
But they probably had like four commercial breaks in that 40 minutes
Well, I mean you're looking about every seven to 10 minutes, but but still to not have a 15 minute opening promo bit
Where we're gonna set up a match is gonna take place in two and a half hours. Yeah
to actually have wrestling
I was just like we haven't had a promo
Because again, I'm not counting the scene the thing because that's kind of a separate entity to me
Your first honest to god promo was at the 40 minute mark
So I don't know if we're trying to
If we're trying to focus more on the wrestling with the new direction creatives going I'll okay with it
But it was just interesting to me
Probably about a decade too late, but
Well
Well, you know in wrestling thing so something about biting the hand that feeds you
You know
I'm just saying
Best sign of the night
Behind the announced table my wife thinks I'm at Bible study
You know there's the creativity in the signs is getting back there again. It's getting back there. It's all I'm saying
I'll see
I just want to say the fun of the bellot wins
Kill twin magic. I'm done with it. Yeah. This is I mean
Again, I know I'm talking about wrestling
logic
But
When they both show up dressed in the exact same thing do we not know what's gonna happen now?
They're gonna switch yeah
It's been done for
for years
I'm just I'm just like really
Go with what you know that's creative and my other question when it comes to divas this total divas show that that
Other table television's gonna be doing is that gonna be k-fabe or no?
Because if it's gonna be k-fabe, I don't want to watch yeah, or more than a hundred people gonna want to so
Doesn't really matter what they do. That's a valid point is on the
And it's or I don't like to call it the soup and car dashing and network
And then Chelsea and others on there somewhere too, but nobody cares about her
I just I just want to know if it's gonna be
If it's if it's gonna be an honest-a-god reality show that I'm good
Chelsea humor she apparently is like 34 and she looks older than yeah, so I say it yeah
And I
Don't know if lawler was just on a sugar high
Or what was going on
But his little one liner is zippy comments
Can we get him on a punchline limit?
Because I was just like hey Jerry there's a match going on
It was just bad like it was just pun after pun after pun after pun
Like when when I'm at a point where I'm praying for Michael cold to say something
The fit right bottom, and I don't mean
I'm just like
Oh
I just it was horrible
And while we're talking about while they're in coal in the announced table and I told you about this
And and and Don mentioned it in the room about the the Domino's pizza tracker thing
If you know me
I am the guy that notices the little things
Like I was raised watching movies like airplane where you have to notice everything in the background like
Whenever I go to the doctor's office and highlights magazine
I would go straight to the find the hidden pictures and that find them all I would because I'm just I don't know if that's part of the OCD part of me
But like I'm very like detail oriented
If you're going to advertise this pizza tracker and by the way speaking of Domino's
They're actually now going to take it to the next level. They're trying a pilot program where they want to put
Six webcams in every Domino's and you can watch your pizza being made live
This is what mistake 4 out of 10 whatever that means
He's pretty good
Learned how to do something today. I'm not gonna say they well see we'll see how this works out
Wow
This is cookie and now I don't know how to
Change the
Very confused right now
No, no, okay, maybe I'd think of this out now hold on
Do we know a Marty rock seven seven? I didn't see anything come through the chat me
Maybe we have a new listener doing a genetty
Smart Marty Genetty Susan during wrestling talk, you know, I'm okay with that
So if you're listening to this on iTunes we want to apologize to you for what's going on right now
We had some some issues with our
Recording software which seemed to be fixed now
You didn't miss much. I'm just not very smart. That's what's going on here
Have a Jose can say go bad if you need to
I want to not pay money. I'm gonna
Don't even know what that means, but oh, it's on the shirt ninja turtles. Oh
Oh, that's from the aka. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm just this whole thing is kind of a blow in the wheels off this show
Completely right now
So we're gonna have to fix that. Who fix it and post? There were wheels on it. That's a good point. It's about point
So we're gonna see how this fix is itself
All right, I think we're back in business now
Uh, Fondango says he went to the C.F.W. Right, Mary. He got in any met George the animal steel
Nice
Did he still have a green tongue?
He's a college professor that got your story with a green tongue
Okay, and then we had to have yodeling talk
Speaking of wheels off. I didn't know cuz I thought and we're having yodel talk really is that what we're doing?
I
Should we all do our best yodeling impression if you want to you're more than welcome to I I can't yodel
I don't I don't need Rico lock for any reason. I gave up yodeling 20 years ago
Is that what you guys did in choir? No. Oh, okay. I'm just starting to start ask
and I I wonder if the
During the
Antonyosis are a match of the O.A. O.A. O.A. O.A. O.A. It was given them R.H. flashbacks
When he would use to feud with Elginarico
Yeah, don't says I should have changed the music the final jeopardy which I should have I don't know what happened there
So we may have another fan to episode come here if I don't get this thing fixed. I'm just saying
But apparently we're late talking about impact
By the way, Matt Morgan congratulations to him today celebrate six and a half years sober with zero relapses
So congratulations Matt Morgan on that
Steven says Andrew can be the Swiss mislady
Just like oh come on, you know what that is let's talk impact apparently we're gonna bring back suicide in the
Activision because I guess Cas really isn't doing anything. I don't so I went up at the mask back on them
And now we're putting I don't know if you got them I think only one of the sooner that watch an impact
Yes, you asked that almost every week and you get the same answer some day the answer could change
Yeah, I have faith
I'll win the lottery before that about two and a half months ago. I watched it before going bowling and then
I bought a kick-up. Yes, I bold really bad. Oh, okay, it was terrible. That's what I just had
Apparently now we're I was watching the exhibition match and
The referee looked like he was wearing one of those British driving hats
And I was like is this this guy's bit and then I realized for your exhibition matches now
They're planting a camera in this little hat that the referee wears
I like the sounds of the match. He looks like he's wearing a skull cap and he's a minor
It's like all things just go. Oh, and then he's gone to make the exhibition look bigger. Is that why?
He's Steven says he watched it so somebody watches it in the room and
As I'm watching ACEs in eighths, I'm looking at Anderson and I'm going one of these kids is doing his own thing
One of these kids just isn't the same he just doesn't fit I
He can work heel without that crap, but it's all I'm saying
Yeah
And apparently Kurt Engel labels his home like he's in the ring with whoever it was we was D-Low and an I quit match
And he said do you know you can't mess with me because we're in my hometown of Western Pennsylvania
So the entire Western part of the state is your home
You have to give it to him. He's stepping on a toothpick away from death
You ain't gonna lie there. I worry about away from death. Every time Kurt Engel gets in the ring
It worries me. It just does the neck
Oh, we're a green white checkering NASCAR, so there's that yeah, which means if for those of you that I know what that means
It means we get one lap and then we're on the final lap and then the race is over. That's it. That's it
And they're gonna they don't have three attempt. I know cup things about NASCAR
Just a couple. I know a couple things about a couple things
and
Here's my thing if Terran Terrell is gonna be if there have heard bits gonna be the hot mess. We can't get her a deal with Jack in a box
Speaking of sandwiches. I
That that sandwich just frightens me that the physical appearance of the hot mess sandwich a jack in the box frightens me
It's like pepper jack cheese, jalapenos
They should just call it to take it to your house and to deposit it directly in the toilet and cut out the middle man's sandwich
It's speaking of food dough
Have you guys heard what Carl's junior's doing this summer?
God talk Chad said they already tested me out of the west coast. No, he strawberry pop tart ice cream sandwich
Whoa
Mark
Guess where I'm having dinner after the show. I want to try on the west coast. I want to try it. It's your chave beam burger and it's 99 cents
Oh
Another doing the man of steel tie-in thing. They got the other restaurant chain. They got the man of steel stuff
That seems like an odd choice to me. I know I thought so too. Oh subway iron man
Because I think of Carl and then we're gonna get out of impact
What am I doing tonight? I cannot control the music. I I've lost control of this show. I swear to you
I have lost control of this show
I
I like to call a bit more odd that's what I'm not
Yeah, no, you know, it wasn't Indiana Pencil Vania, which is about 50 miles from where he is, but still, your hometown can't be the entire western side of the state.
Just say it.
Triple H picks up at a war this past week. He is the most metal athlete given to him at the Golden God Awards that were again hosted by Chris Jericho.
Which is kind of weird because you know he wasn't there to collect it because he was in Vegas at the fight hanging out with Floyd Mayweather. We all have our faults.
I watched it last year. I think he enjoyed that a little too much.
And now it sucks back now.
I just want to say thank you WWE for letting Ricardo Rodriguez wrestle twice this week.
Because the guy that guy can go. He's got skills to make him a valet for kind of how long has it been now? Two or three years.
What the guy wrestle? He was at the rumble. He showed up in the beat up Celica.
Oh, that was so great.
They were parodying over Doria.
And really in one week, my two Mark Henry moments are a tug of war and an arm wrestling match.
I didn't we already do the Mark Henry arm wrestling thing once.
Haven't we done this before with him?
And here's my question. I want to open this up to the floor a little bit.
Is it time to put gold on a shield?
I think it's time. I think you put the, I'm saying or I was going to say or bronze. I think it's time to put the tag belt on him.
Who's going to, who's going to go against them?
There's no other tag team, it's not just running random guys out there together.
Hell no.
Who of your last five tag team champions bit?
Guys, they just run out there and throw out their random one.
This hates tag teams.
Bring back the fantastics.
Rock and roll express, baby. Let's do it.
Just transplant a season eight into the WWE.
No, because then my theory would be backwards or it or beer money.
If they're still wrestling, I don't know what they're doing.
Right now, their route is tagging with off the areas.
And James Thorms just kind of do dealing with AJ.
Boring.
Greatness.
The original.
Not the version WWE much out there.
Although not Bobby Eaton's best gimmick.
When he was the blue bloods with Regal and he was the, he was Robert and Duke Robert of Eaton.
Like, you took a guy that that finds Redneck and you made him into an aristocrat.
Okay, I'm good.
Suspension of disbelief has now taken over.
But apparently I can't spell tonight either.
What's going on?
Yeah.
Suspension of disbelief?
Suspension of belief.
I thought it was Suspension.
Suspension of belief.
No, I was suspending my disbelief so that I didn't not believe it.
So people leave it.
Yeah, if you suspend my disbelief, I believe something.
And now I'm even more confused.
We're supposed to explain the Santa Claus to a 4 year old.
Just say he's coming to town.
I told you to say.
There you go.
That's really all we got wrestling talk this week.
I want to apologize to all of our new listeners.
This show has been.
I want to pull that all the old ones do.
There is an event something something else.
Let's go to POI.
POI is a second we do on this show called person of interest.
It's where we take a person or an entity and we debate their greatness or lack of their of.
The pendulum swings to me this week and if you listen to this show,
you've probably noticed that POI is not where it normally is in the show.
We usually do POI a lot earlier.
However.
The reason I moved POI to where it is is because it kind of ties into wrestling talk just a little bit.
Because as I was watching Smackdown as apparently I'm one of the four people that does.
I noticed something that kind of made it kind of gave me pause a little bit.
Smackdown this week was at the Joe the Joe Lewis Arena in Detroit.
And I thought to myself.
Do we need to prioritize arenas depending on the show we're doing?
Because to me if you're going to do a WWE is going to do a show at the Joe,
it better be a pay-per-view or a better be raw.
Joe Smackdown at the Joe doesn't seem right to me.
I can see your point but also you know the smaller markets they need.
They want something big too. They don't want just Detroit's not a smaller market.
It's just a going rope market.
You know if you're in Pennsylvania, the Western Park, you may not be excited about it.
If you're anywhere.
Because the East Pennsylvania is going to get squat.
Yes.
You're not going to get.
So you're saying they'll get all the squash matches?
There you go.
That's what I mean.
I just think there are certain, I'm not saying even market wise.
I'm just saying there are certain arenas.
Like the United Center in Chicago,
Paper of You will Raw.
Were they even doing WrestleMania that one year in Montana?
I think Chicago was at the Roosevelt Horizon or something.
You can do Smackdown there.
I just think that you know, if you come to Dallas,
you do Raw at the American Airlines Center.
Yeah.
The problem is I totally give you a bad example because there's no other place to remember.
I say where the heck else are you going to go?
You're probably thinking about Houston too because we're in there where they always ask Smackdown with that to go.
What were some vintage Center?
Were they doing a house show? What next week or week after?
Would that for the next week because there could be a paper a week after?
I need a calendar, which I have one behind me.
The only problem with that is you have to like make it all work with all the other major sporting.
Yeah, I mean that are going to go.
You basically got to go with whatever you can.
I just lost football and even hockey.
But you know, this is going to want to get into the biggest arena in town.
It's almost tickets.
Yeah, where the draw is.
Because I know you're thinking the same way the rest of us in this room are thinking.
You're going because Smackdown is the lesser show.
Yeah, it always has been.
But Vince is thinking ticket sales.
He's not thinking quality of show because if he did, if he was, he'd pair raw back to two freaking hours.
And I put so much credit bill or happy.
And he's going to have to release.
He's looking at it from a business standpoint.
Whenever he's going to put most the most butts and seats as the venue he's going for.
It's got nothing to do with the quality of the show.
Why hasn't he come to the Death Star with the WrestleMania?
Don't even give me started on that.
Jerry, do many other options too.
Yeah, but his attendance record would explode.
I'm sure it probably would.
See, Mike, there's always something going on in that stadium or he gets a, I'm sure.
I keep, I'd love to know what what the process is into.
Taking a site for WrestleMania.
There's not a whole lot going on in April.
Jerry World.
Well, I'm just saying I just love to know what the process is because he's got to be getting courted by people all over the,
I mean, obviously he's getting courted by you know why WrestleMania is not there.
Because he's dealing with the final for this year next year.
Yeah.
But that's in March, right?
With his WrestleMania.
He's in March.
End of March, beginning of April.
That's true.
That's what's going on.
That's why that's what's going on there.
Now, there are, I have heard sources inside the organization saying Jerry really doesn't want it.
Which I think that's the case.
Jerry's a bigger, more on than I thought.
Because he'll set the hill.
And that's something.
He'll break the WrestleMania three record.
Oh, yeah.
That's what six digits in it.
Whoa.
He could have a hundred thousand people standing and they would still buy those tickets.
Yep, which blows my mind.
Yeah.
I mean, Jerry would make money hand over fist.
And he won't listen to Stephen, because Stephen is just as moronic as his father.
But I look at these.
Look at these.
Well, that's another show for another day.
I just, I don't know, I just was weird for me.
I mean, maybe I'm alone in the room on that.
I don't know.
Well, it's, I just think it's, I think that's what it really boils down to.
Here's what Don's saying.
WrestleMania 13 was at the, well, well, where was the one?
Because the rest of me at 13 was in the Rosemar horizon in Chicago.
18211 11 for WrestleMania.
I'm talking about the one that was in Chicago where scene
it did the whole gangster thing.
And CM Punk was actually one of the gangsters before anybody knew who he was.
You remember what I'm talking about?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That one was in a small...
Zimmerman.
Sam's club will get a WrestleMania for Cherokee's world.
At this point, the man's not lying.
I, I, like I said, maybe I'm alone in this.
I just think there are certain arenas that should only carry paper view or raw.
Because of what it is.
I don't understand that logic.
It's just, it's hard to put that together.
Vince Vince doesn't put that distinction there.
It's, it's a WWE live show on TV.
People will show up.
People will want it.
Whether it's this flagship or not, he's going to, he's going to, he's going to,
It's not by TV.
Even SmackDown.
Yeah.
I'm just saying.
Theoretically speaking, it's, it's, it's a, it's a live event that's going to be on TV.
It may not be live when he shows it.
But it's a live event that's being filled.
Now we skip something an impact talk that I wanted to actually plug into as we talk about this,
because as we know,
um,
WrestleMania 2 was in the all-state arena,
17159 for WrestleMania.
Just say it.
Really?
Really?
87.
Well, WrestleMania 22.
Oh, I thought he said WrestleMania 2.
Well, that was that.
No, WrestleMania 22.
No, WrestleMania 2 was in three different arenas.
Yeah.
And they had, uh, the only case.
The only case.
Captain.
Yeah.
Close circuit.
Close circuit.
Whatever.
They weren't all deaf.
Yes.
But impact, you know, impact is now impact live allegedly every other week.
And even when it's take this, those hashtag impacts live.
It's not live.
It's not even live when it's live.
Because what impact is doing now is,
they're actually the nights that they air quote unquote live.
They're actually starting the show an hour before it airs.
Because what they're trying to do is they're trying to get the full 90 to 100 minutes out of the way.
Because instead of taping Thursday and Friday,
they're taping two weeks of impact in one night now.
So they're taping the quote unquote live episode from seven until about 83840.
And then they tape the second show from 840 to 1015.
So I'm just, because I've been watching, of course, because I'm the only one that watches it.
But watching impact the last every other week, I've been kind of like,
it's the same crowd.
Yeah.
And the signs are these people just bringing all their crap back two nights in a row.
But no, they're doing it the same night.
It's not going to live any life.
Leave it up to TNA to screw it up again.
TNA couldn't hit the side of a barn with a bazooka right now.
It's my big half. Everybody else does.
Yeah.
It's fired up on the start.
I just, I don't get it.
He almost had a Steve Austin moment.
I did it.
I did it.
If it's one thing, that's it.
If it's one thing, it drives me crazy.
Yeah.
It's terrible Steve Austin.
And of course, Don bring it again.
The lowest attendance for WrestleMania was WrestleMania 23.
For WrestleMania 23 on was WrestleMania 27 in the Georgia dome 71,617.
Because after 22 was when they started doing the bigger venues.
They could double it at the Jerry World.
You couldn't get that one.
I think they said maximum capacity for Jerry World's like 110,000.
First something like boxing or wrestling because then you can use the field.
Yeah.
And then the rest like the WrestleMania stage would take up a quarter of that.
Would you use part would you do party passes for that?
That would be awesome.
No, it wouldn't.
Because if I'm 29 dollars, I'm going to stand there for four hours.
Or down in the tunnel.
I can't feel part of that.
How much about tell you what, though?
What seats would really suck for that?
Those field level suites.
Yeah.
That would really suck.
They probably block them off and have to.
Great. You're learning yet to eat.
All right. Let's move on.
Go on to a little bit of baseball.
I'm getting an ocean of the back of 1,000 marks.
Nice shoes, man.
Not much going on in the world to majorly baseball this week.
So let's go straight to your standings.
In the AL East, the Toronto Blue Jays.
11 and 21.
You've won 11 games and you're 9 and a half back.
I'm just saying.
They have a point different.
I run differential of minus 55.
Worst in the league.
Oh, no. There's one worse.
Tampa Bay is four games better than them.
The Baltimore and the Yankees are both a game and a half back on the Red Sox right now.
The Red Sox have lost three straight.
To your Texan.
That is correct.
Yes.
In the AL Central, the White Sox, 12 and 17, they're six and a half games back.
The Minnesota twins are in fourth place.
Quiva Indians in the middle of the pack.
And the Royals are a half game back on a tiger's right now.
That is insane.
And they found dongle every time they win.
Which means they got about five more left in in this season.
And in the AL West, the Houston Astros with the worst run differential at minus 66 in the league.
And they've lost six straight and they're one and nine in their last 10.
Now, they're home road.
They're home record and they're road record are exactly the same.
Because they are 8 and 24, which she's here for in 12 and home.
They're for 12 and the road.
And they are 12 and you've won eight games in your 12 and a half back.
I'm just saying.
I'm sorry.
Right above them, three and a half games better than Houston.
Laugh.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Los Angeles County, California, America, North America, Earth, Milky Way.
Seattle in the middle of the pack and the Oakland Athletics are currently two games.
Two and a half games behind your Texas Rangers who have one, three and a row.
11 and four at home.
Playing well in the temple.
In the NL West, San Diego Padres.
13 and 18 and you're five and a half back.
How bad is that division?
The Dodgers are a game better than them.
The Diamondbacks are two and a half back of the Rockies are a half game back on the Giants.
The Giants have won five straight right now.
Not the longest win streak in the league is that belongs to your anal central leaders.
Chicago Cubs are 11 and 20.
The Brewers are three and a half games better than them.
The Pirates are three back.
The Reds are two and a half back of John's beloved St. Louis Cardinals.
Who have won six in a row.
Seven and three in their last 10.
And in the only division that matters the NL East, my Miami Marlins.
Who opened a can on Philly today.
It's 12 to two.
I think it was the final in that game.
Which surpasses their fun total scores for the races.
Well, they're minus 51.
So they're 10 and 22.
They're 90's back.
And they also have the exact same record.
5 and 11 at home.
5 and 11 on the road.
Nice.
The Mets are four games better than the Marlins.
Sorry.
And the Philly's are the middle of the pack.
And the nationals are two games back on my beloved Atlanta Braves.
Who have one one straight.
So there's that.
What happened to me?
What happened?
One in a row.
What in a row?
We're on a streak.
Okay.
A new streak.
We're resetting.
It's okay.
You are listening to the clubhouse.
We are live every Sunday night.
And I promise we've done this show before.
I've done this show over 165 times.
That's all I'm saying.
So we're out there.
There's a man doing a podcast.
David Reagan.
One.
That's my.
The air.
The air.
Not too.
Go listen to that episode.
It's the very first one he does for Mexico.
And he has a laptop.
And he has a microphone plugged into it.
But he can't figure out how to work.
The microphone.
Yeah.
The recording device that ends up he ends up using is the one on the laptop.
And all he has to drink in his hotel because there's no internet at the hotel.
So he has to record it like we do with audacity.
The only thing to drink in his hotel room is Pelagrino.
And it's his entire fridge is stock with Pelagrino.
He spends 10 minutes on Pelagrino.
Does it know what it is?
Never had one.
Well, I'm going to rush around to see people.
God.
See the book of the Peppa guy that we're always talking about.
Steve's close to this thing.
It's entertaining.
Sometimes.
This is now our new bit.
You know, somewhere else.
I'm telling you.
Wait.
And so you hear him do.
Would you hear him say the word that Samuel Jackson's famous for saying.
It may be one in one.
We're talking people that say that word.
And I'm just telling you.
Just so much.
Let's just do movie talk.
Please.
Can we do that, please?
Can we just have a control all delete on this episode?
We just do.
Is that the name of the episode control all delete?
No, the name of the episode is paging the wheels for this show.
Okay.
National tire and assault.
Battery.
Box office numbers.
Now that we do the show on Sundays.
We give you the box office numbers for the entire weekend.
And you have to weird things.
As bad as this show's been.
We've gained a listener in the last.
Yes.
Maybe we just think it's bad.
Everybody else loves it.
Maybe it's just that whole thing.
Once the train wrecks there, you can't look away.
It's got to be what it is.
I don't know.
But man, we love.
We love a lot of people listen and get it.
Just tell us how bad this they could turn into.
Dropping out of the top 10 this week.
GI Joe retaliation.
Which has not made it to any back.
Olympus has fallen drops out of the top 10.
It has made it to money back.
And Jurassic Park 3D drops out of the top 10 this week.
Number 10 for the weekend.
Goes to a movie that I still don't even know what this movie is about.
The place beyond the pines.
Did we ever figure out what this movie was about?
Is it like salmon fishing in the Yemen?
And the Yemen?
I saw it.
It's not bad.
It's one of those where.
It's like a family thing about how.
How life is growing up without a father.
Oh, that was pretty much what it is, yeah.
It makes one.
Just under $1.3 million for a six week total of $18 million.
It makes it to money.
In ninth place dropping two slots from number seven.
Scary movie five with another million and a half.
Which makes it almost up to $30 million.
So let me get another one of those.
Please go away.
Now get it.
Now we have two movies that are re a one movie that's re entering the top 10 this week.
Jumping five slots to number eight is as the great and powerful.
Wow.
Making $1.8 million for a nine week total of $215 million.
It's still.
And that's with 450 less theaters than it had last week.
That's darn impressive.
And it's still 13 million below budget.
This thing.
Oh, Marty rocks well played functional dysfunction.
That's what this show is.
I believe we have a new slogan for the show is functional dysfunction.
Putting the function back in dysfunction.
We put the fun in dysfunction.
And jumping up from number 11 to number 70.
The movie mud that we tell you.
Oh, Maddie.
We've got a.
Take a picture.
I have.
If we had a greatest hits of this show.
We just played this episode.
Okay.
You don't play this one.
The worst episode.
But it was a great episode.
It was gone so badly.
It's starting to go good again.
That was gone.
No.
It's gone pretty much according to the plan that we didn't have.
Organized chaos.
That's what we do.
Dropping two slots from four to six is the big wedding.
Making 3.85 million for a two week total of 14 million by the way kids.
That's not even halfway the budget.
Number that cast.
Number five holding steady is the crew's making another 4.225 for a seven week total of
hundred and sixty eight million dollars.
That movie will not go away.
A blivey and drops from silver metal to four making just under six million dollars.
seventy five seventy six million dollars in three weeks.
And we're a little over halfway there.
Two hundred and twenty million.
In this in the bronze metal spot holding steady forty 42.
Six point two million dollars for a four week total of seventy eight million dollars.
And for those of you playing the home game.
It's in sixty less theaters than it was last week.
Almost doubled at the budget.
And by the way.
A blivey and.
Is in three hundred and sixty two less theaters than it was last week.
And it's in it's third week of release.
But you look at the crudes.
That's in three hundred and sixty eight less theaters.
And made almost as much money.
And only chart thirty seven percent whereas a blivey and drop like sixty seven percent.
Last weekend's box office champion drops to the silver metal.
This week.
Pain and gain seven point six million dollars which is now made almost thirty four million dollars.
It's already in the red.
I mean already in the black.
Well, I've had to be expected to go to number two with a big release.
Well, yeah, given what happened this weekend.
And a movie that we went and saw.
Last night three quarters of the people in the studio did.
Um.
Iron man three second biggest opening of all time.
A hundred and seventy five point three million dollars.
Which we said.
We were talking, but we were an article on IMDB Friday saying it was on pace for 170.
So it beat the 170.
Yeah.
It's it's already passed three hundred million overseas.
It sets the one day record in China that was set by the Avengers.
It beats it by three million but it falls short in this country by twenty seven million to the Avengers.
Um.
Chad, we'll start with you.
I'll save my opinion for last and we are going to do everything we can to keep this thing.
Spoiler free.
Hmm.
There you go.
This is on the soundtrack of the second one.
He's got to drop this in my lap.
Um.
By the way, we saw it.
IMX 3D.
Fantastic presentation.
Did it was I lying.
No, not at all.
I'm still curious as to that.
Other presentation.
We may check that out though.
Maybe we'll go see Star Trek and that.
All right.
Okay.
Because they have a thing called the.
ETX, which is the enhanced theater experience.
And Dolby Fusion.
Yeah.
They got the North Park.
They got the Rumble and C thing.
I don't think that's what it is.
The way they explained it is like it's wall to wall screen or something like aren't they?
Oh, they are wall to wall screen.
But fantastic visually.
Of course, we've come to expect.
I agree with you on that.
It might.
My ears were ringing when we walked out of that place.
That's why when you put your radio on them.
Oh, God, please, no.
My ear drums were like assaulted.
I thought it was fantastic though.
I remember walking out of Iron Man 2 a couple of years ago going.
Not nearly as good as the first one.
I didn't get that feeling walking out of this one.
It was a satisfying follow-up of.
Let's be honest.
Not only was it a sequel to Iron Man 2.
It was also a sequel to the Avengers.
And it did deal with some of the fallout from Avengers.
And I think it handled it brilliantly.
Was it better than the Avengers?
No.
I don't know.
It's going to be a tough act to follow.
The Avengers 2 is going to have a hard time following the Avengers in my opinion.
Depending on who your your foe is in the Avengers 2.
Andrew.
I'll agree with you.
Much better than Iron Man 2.
I agree.
A great sequel to Avengers.
I enjoyed it.
Iron Man, the original was better than the first one.
I enjoyed Iron Man 2.
Thank you.
I still don't know how I feel about Iron Man 3.
I didn't leave there.
Psyched up.
I didn't.
Again, I definitely didn't have the same feeling.
I had what I left Avengers.
Yep.
I liked it.
I wouldn't pay full price to see it again.
I would.
I was just appointed that the North Park Theatre didn't have the Coca-Cola free style.
Maybe that's what it was.
What I want to do at the movie.
It's all part of the importance.
I mean, I will say go see it.
It's a fun way to spend two hours and ten minutes of your life.
It's the longest of the three.
And it's the first of the Marvel this generation of Marvel films to not feature somebody.
Yeah.
Stanley.
No, he's there.
He's in all of it.
I think he's contractually bound.
Although his cameo felt kind of shoehorned in there.
Yeah.
Because you're just kind of like, what does this have to owe?
That's why.
Is it really a spoiler if we give it away?
I'm not saying.
I'm not saying anything about this film.
That's not been in a trailer that I've seen.
Yeah, but it's kind of a foreground conclusion.
It's been a year since you've been.
Yeah, but I'm still not saying anything.
I'm not saying anything.
It's not about that.
If I'm don't go with saying that he found it interesting that there wasn't.
I'm not going to.
Don't has a point because again, for people that are listening on iTunes,
I don't want or listening on the archive.
I don't want to technically spoil anything.
That isn't in a trailer or blatantly stated.
I thought the story telling you could definitely tell the story.
Tell you the difference between John Fabro and Shane Black.
Again, visually stunning.
Not going to debate that.
Climax of the film is great.
Yeah.
I just, I don't know.
I don't know if the Avengers just set the bar too high.
Did you think of the visuals carry the movie?
No.
No.
There was a story.
It was a strong story to it.
Because Shane Black.
It's got the world wrote lethal weapon.
So.
Yeah.
I don't know.
And with Dawn's comment, that's pretty much what you got with the first one.
Ballpoint.
Kind of sorta.
I mean, I know that you caught something at the very beginning that I didn't.
About somebody that talks to him in the flashback.
Ah.
That he would see later.
They'll have to tell me later.
I'll talk to my friend.
Yeah, yeah.
You caught that.
I did.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You caught that.
I did.
Yeah.
I thought that was pretty genius.
But let's go ahead and move on.
Your villain for Transformers 4 has been cast.
And he is Kelsey Graham.
I just, I can't see him as a guy.
They're not.
But they're not saying if he's playing.
Like if he's doing the voice, I'm sure.
They haven't said.
They're not saying what it's going to be.
I know Mark Walberg's taking.
Say the move.
Please.
I'm saying if he, I mean, he, it's not like he hasn't done a villain voice.
And Russ is saying that we're getting a police academy eight and Shaq's going to play.
Nine tower.
Oh, shut up.
Please.
Oh.
Okay.
Kid Holly.
Okay.
Not create any.
Okay.
Here's what would you rather situation?
Would you rather see a police academy eight with Shaq as high tower?
Or would you rather see this weird science rebound?
Police academy.
Okay.
There you go.
Do not mess with the John Hughes.
It's happening.
It's happening.
No.
No.
No.
No.
Steven Spielberg is going to direct the American sniper film.
About the young man over in Fort Worth.
And Bradley Cooper is going to plan.
Bradley Cooper has been really spearheading this film.
Hmm.
So.
And I got a lot of respect for Bradley Cooper.
I sure we true we do.
Good actor.
Love the monalias.
We have word on the Veronica Mars film.
It's going to go into production in mid June.
So for those of you waiting for that to happen.
That's when it's going to happen.
And then Chad brought something to my attention.
And I don't know how I feel about it.
But then again, I haven't seen the current installment in this series.
I think it's on the show time now.
Star stars stars stars.
Not bad at all.
It took the bad taste out of your mouth for the second one.
Because I would apparently for this thing is like,
I'm apparently for this police academy thing.
The original cast except golf weights going to be back.
Because what Steve Gutenberg do in real life.
Thank you for somebody to give him an acting roll.
Rock.
Coming next year.
Am I before has been Greenwood?
Sure.
Am I be three manic killers?
Is Will Smith becoming Vin Diesel?
He's realized all he wants to do anymore is sequel to his other films.
Because I'm telling you now,
After Earth is going to suck.
Because of his directing it.
It's primarily because it looks like a crappy film.
It's called like a oblivion.
Why do I want to see it?
You know who's directing?
After?
No.
Do you?
Why?
Oh.
Am Night Shyamalan.
And notice his name's nowhere on this.
Notice every movie that Shyamalan's done up to the last airbender.
Head was in hopes for that.
Which was always am Night Shyamalan's.
And whatever it is.
No, no, no, no, no.
No.
Where near the title on this thing.
Lama.
Because I'm sure Will Smith's like,
You know, it's pretty good chance that this movie's going to suck
without his name at that.
And what's the accent they're using?
Accent?
Listen to the trailer.
They're talking with some weird accent.
I think it's just the way he's clipping his words because he's trying to
look stoic as a commanding officer.
But the kids doing the same thing.
I don't know.
I never picked up on an accent.
It just, it just looks like bad acting to me.
It's just, I have no desire.
None is.
It looks like, it looks like some of the film crew left the filming
of oblivion and went to work on after her.
It's like what they're doing with district nine.
So they took all the halo footage.
It's ready to do that.
Well, okay.
What was it?
Oh, God.
Skyline.
What did it?
And a bunch of the guys that were on that production left that
production that did battle for Los Angeles or vice versa.
Battle.
Battle.
Yeah.
I like that film.
I enjoyed that battle.
Battle.
It was good.
It's like a bunch of people that weren't involved.
It's better than it has to be.
Yeah.
It's like, when you saw Skyline, then you saw battle.
You're like, is this practically the same thing?
No, but a lot of people that were involved.
But battle line up getting released first.
No, Skyline was it?
Okay.
We have a casting change for despicable meat, too, which is really kind of weird.
Because the movie's coming out the day after my birthday.
Which, by the way, is 58 choppy days away.
What did this go back and re-record all the parts?
It's apparently Pacino's potential to pay the bad guy in this has had created.
How do you even create a difference?
On a cartoon, 59 days before comes out.
But now, Benjamin Bratz can have to go back and re-record all of Pacino's dialogue.
Because when I think Pacino and a replacement for Pacino,
the first person that comes to my mind is Benjamin Bratz.
I got three words for Al Pacino, Jack and Jill.
Okay.
And saw me.
And saw me.
It wasn't bad.
It just wasn't good.
He did an Adam Samler movie.
Yeah.
You know what?
They picked Benjamin Bratz.
Because he almost married Julia Roberts.
Because he's agile.
Wow.
Come on.
Come on.
What the manga read this?
Nobody guessed this bit.
You and I do.
You and I do.
We just do this for ourselves at this point.
Also, we have an actor to play the crow.
Welsh actor Luke Evans.
He was in Immortals.
He was in Clash of the Titans.
He apparently put that crappy three-musketeer's movie on his resume.
He's currently filming the Hobbit, the desolation of Smauge,
and he'll be in Fast and Furious 6.
And that's why they haven't started the crow yet.
Because they're waiting for him to finish with those.
So we're going to see how that works out.
I know him from something else.
It's just going to be a new crow.
They're rebooting it.
I don't know if it's a remake or a rea.
It is a reboot.
But I don't know if they're just remaking the first one.
I don't think you should.
I think the first one was a masterpiece.
Yeah.
It's actually given what happened.
How they were able to film around that.
It's going to complete the film.
Yeah.
Got rest your soul, Brandon Lee.
He's also going to be playing Dracula and a remake of Dracula.
Just get Dracula year one, right?
I was called Dracula.
This is not related to the TV project that John Reese Evans is going to work.
I thought it was called Dracula year one.
I don't know.
Wait, let me make sure I get that one.
It's kind of weird.
But guy to play King Henry and the tutors is playing Dracula on an NBC TV pilot or something.
John Reese something.
I don't think it's Evans, but it's something like that.
Sorry Steve.
None.
No.
Not solid.
You are named after the dog.
I love that movie.
I love that movie.
A lot of guy can't read it.
Movie new releases in your local movie.
And Jaden Smith's going to take over for Will Smith.
I'm going to my job.
I'm going to take it over.
I'm going to take it over.
Russell's saying in the chat room.
Shut your filthy mouth.
He's breaking headlines here, people.
The movie coming out this coming weekend.
That my wife is very, very interested in.
The Baz Lourmon.
Great.
Great Gatsby.
With Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Mulligan.
There's a Michelle Williams in this thing.
It's a John Reese Meyer.
That's a guy.
Oh, John Reese Meyer.
I'm kind of interested in this Gatsby thing.
Have you seen the soundtrack?
Yes.
It's Prince, I don't know.
No, he's not.
Okay.
I don't know what happened there.
Him or Gaga.
I don't know.
He's always talking about making out what dudes.
Okay.
True story.
She actually said, I've got his whole turn.
I haven't made out any hot guys.
I'm sorry.
It's because they don't want dysentery.
Oh.
Wow.
Another disease on the moment right there.
It's one thing that drives me crazy.
It's just getting dysentery from the crew.
There's a guy.
He's going to need a series of injections.
And that's the bottom line.
Close the e-hard partners.
Also this week.
I'm sorry.
Rock bottom.
Rock bottom.
That's your standards.
I've had rock bottom.
Also, a movie called One Track Heart The Story of
Krishna Doss.
It was Krishna Doss.
This was...
Oh, they don't.
I didn't do that.
I didn't do that.
Oh, no.
I think I can remember who this is now.
Krishna Doss is...
He was the original guy that he left Blue Oyster Cult.
He was originally going to be in Blue Oyster Cult and left the band.
And decided he was going to...
No, he didn't.
He could play with Cowbell.
Yeah.
I mean, Rick...
I think somebody was going to say it.
Rick Rubens in this thing.
It's a documentary.
And so you want to go on spiritual enlightenment in men.
And now he's a world famous curtain singer.
What?
What?
All right.
It intrigued me.
Cartoon singer.
K-I-R-T-A-N.
I'm not like he sings to Drake.
Oh, okay.
I know a tender had a man behind the curtain.
For the people that live singing.
There you go.
Also, a movie called People's This Week.
The biography of the realist voice behind Millie Vanillie.
Sparks fly when Wade Walker crashes the people's annual reunion in the
handstands to ask for their precious daughter graces hand in marriage.
Wade Walker would be like Craig Robinson.
Kerry Washington's in this thing.
David Allen Greer.
The great S. E. Pat the Merkson.
Why do I smell a Tyler Perry connection?
Because he's producing it.
Oh, do you?
Melvin Van People's Diane Carroll.
A lot of different people.
Anna Gastier's in this.
Somebody named Tuffy Questle.
I just wanted to say that on the microphone.
So yeah, he's got his producing there.
Thank you, Don.
Yeah, the brothers Strauss.
I remember there.
I know they had to think we're kind of like what Shaoski
Brother type things.
Those the guys that weren't involved in.
Skyline battle Los Angeles thing.
Now, you also have a movie called Aftershock.
Written by Eli Roth.
Directed by Nicholas Lopez.
This looks good.
But it's going to be thrown off.
Have you seen this?
No.
In Chile, a group of travelers who are in an underground night club with a massive
earthquake hits.
Hopefully, Lauren, that reaching the surface is just the beginning of their
nightmare.
This thing looks brutal, man.
Well, Eli Roth is he's kind of twisted.
He's in it, too.
I'm looking for anybody else's name.
I'm right.
So we need to go as is in this.
And then a bunch of people with Spanish names.
Go favory.
So I mean, it looks it's hour and 30 minutes long.
It looks pretty good.
Yeah.
So it's like.
It's Don say when they jump.
Yeah.
Don's got a follow up on the battle out Los Angeles thing.
Yeah.
So he's got that there in the chat room.
About the the filmmakers that were hired to do the effects work on battle
LA.
Oh, they actually made.
They made skyline.
But they're special effects company.
Huh.
Crazy.
DVD and blue right new releases this week.
Jack Reacher, which I'm going to want to see.
So we might have to put that in the list for next weekend.
Safe haven.
So guys, if you owe your wife something, you'll be seeing that.
The Guillermo del Toro horror film Mama, which I know you're interested in, sir.
And the remake of Steel Magnolia's with Queen Latifa and that whole thing.
And a animated film I've been waiting on for some time called Superman Unbound.
It's looks really good.
Yes.
So there's that.
And I see Brandiac is voiced by Jon Noble.
If I'm not mistaken from French and Return of the King, you played Denithore.
Who goes this Superman?
Oh, gosh.
I'm getting it right now.
Clark Kent.
Uh, Matt and Vomer.
Indeed.
Oh, the dude from, uh, my collar collar.
Yeah.
Didn't he come out of the closet?
Yes, he did.
Uh, Stana Kat Kat.
I can't say how I say that the chick from Castle is playing lowest lane.
Jon Noble is playing Brainiac.
Dieter is playing Steve Lombard.
Um, a Francis Conroy is playing Machin.
Any relation?
No, you know her.
Steven Roots playing Zorrell.
So I can't say it's easy right now.
You have my statement.
A little bit of tech corners just real quick because we're running short on time.
Where do he come from?
Yeah.
Oh, what?
Grand third auto five is now set for September 17th.
So get your free orders.
Yeah.
I'm not happy with the Rockstar games.
Really?
That was supposed to come out this spring.
Dude.
What happened with Grand theft auto four?
The same thing.
It happens all the time with Grand theft auto.
Man.
They get it right there on the edge and then they pull it back because they want to add
more to it.
And I'm just glad that I didn't put my $5 down to free to reserve it thinking it was going
to be out.
Yeah.
It's been delayed.
You know, much much farther back than that.
All right.
So let's get rolling.
We've got eight minutes before you stream cuts us off.
Okay.
Let's time.
Just use you got five on the list, right?
Well, I got five and five.
All right.
Roll.
Okay.
Have the top five live shows live concerts that I've attended.
And on the flip side, the top five shows that I'll never get to see because the
bands either disbanded or have fallen off the face of the earth pretty much.
Number five is DePesh.
Seems like one side you've seen.
These ones that I've seen have shows I've attended.
Seeing DePesh twice.
And plan on seeing them again in September.
I'm sure I'm probably the only person in this room that have seen these guys live.
Yeah.
Number four.
I actually saw with my broadcast partner here sealed.
See them twice myself.
Love to see if any time he comes back to the town.
I'm there.
Number three.
I've also seen with my broadcast partner here.
Aerosmith.
Seeing them twice.
Seeing them twice as well.
I've seen them once.
Number two.
That's live band I've ever seen.
Yeah.
Number two is a gentleman that is no longer with us, but I was fortunate enough to see him twice in my youth.
Was Michael Jackson.
Some of them.
Some of the victory tour and the bad tour.
Number one.
Do I really have to say his name?
No.
Sometimes he can't say his name.
There's a period in the 90s where he couldn't say his name.
Because they didn't have one.
But of course it's Prince.
Top five shows that I'll never get to see.
At least in their proper, you know, line up.
Right.
Number five.
Led Zeppelin.
You guys, you mean?
This is...
Yeah.
I'd still...
But even with Bonham's kid, I'd still go.
Yeah.
But...
Well, you know, they're doing...
Bonham's kid is touring with heart.
Yeah.
With heart?
Yeah.
And they're doing Led Zeppelin thing at the end.
Because they didn't do the induction?
Yeah.
I can't wait till HBO airs that.
Yeah.
Number four.
I heard you would bear it.
They didn't do it.
Yeah.
She didn't like Barracuda.
And then she did something else back there.
I've seen on...
What is it?
Access channel?
The heart content?
Oh yeah.
She's still an amazing...
Yeah.
Sorry, Jack.
Number four.
Elvis.
Who wouldn't want to have that on their podcast?
For what I hear, if you...
There's an...
There's an...
Seven Lebanon.
But what's he Mississippi?
You could see him.
I'm sure.
It's probably close at a tuple, actually.
Number three.
The Beatles.
Again.
Who wouldn't want that on their bucket list?
Yeah.
No, I'd still see the two that are remaining.
I think I'd together.
Huh?
I'd say because the two were remaining.
I got together and did something.
Yeah.
Number two.
The greatness of Jimmy Hendricks.
You can listen to Jimmy, but you can't hear Jimmy.
And...
Number one.
It kills my soul.
Of how much I love this man's music.
And didn't get into him until just shortly after he died.
And I've been kicking myself.
It presents.
Stevie Ray Vaughn.
What I wouldn't do to go back in time.
And see this guy do something live.
Ugh.
Yeah.
It just breaks my heart.
Yeah.
Any...any...any from you guys?
I've said the best live man I've ever seen was Erosmith.
I'll never get to see Phil Collins live.
I don't know beyond that.
I mean besides the ones you listed.
Favorite concert of mine that I've been to?
Because just the presentation.
That was death leopard in the round for them.
But that would have been great.
Seven day weekend tour.
They had the laser lights and the smoke.
When was this?
This was early mid-90s.
For...so it'd remind you.
I'd train the lights.
Yeah.
I saw a scary.
I had...I had front road tickets to that.
And that show was amazing.
I sat on the lawn for the scary.
Yeah.
The reunion arena.
Wow.
God rested soul.
Yeah.
But yeah.
Saw them on his territory with Europe opening up.
Could have done without that.
Yeah.
Final arch whip.
That's what you're doing now.
You're doing the final countdown for the show.
Trying to keep us on time.
Andrew?
No.
I never...I never really went to any concerts growing up.
It was a select few for me.
I won't go see just anybody live.
I'm very, very picky.
And there's one day that half this room hasn't said.
And I'm very upset about that.
Fish boys.
Go boost.
I have...that's one that I'd like to see.
It's going to happen.
Sometime within the next three months there's going to be a show.
Great vine outdoors.
And soon as Doc tells me I will make it.
And in my luck it'll be like a Friday and I got a word.
Same with him.
You'll get it, Dix.
Trust me.
As long as it's not the second week of July.
We're good.
Because I will be in the Kankoon thing.
That's the show.
Thank you all for listening.
Whether it's live.
Hopefully you'll be able to get this episode of iTunes.
We're going to find out very shortly.
Whether you're listening live around the archive.
