Apparently there's a, uh, a hospital setting where you'll be able to smell zombies.

They're just going to have like some rotting meat carcasses that they're just going to
encapsulate.
And then they're going to have a burger stand at the end of it.

If you're a fan of the walking dead, I'm sure the people are going to come out and drill for this.

I have never watched that shock because I knew that before you started.

Aaron Sorkin has decided for season two of the newsroom, which it has been renewed.
He is cleaning house in the writing department.

He has said every, and I guess he did this on the West Wing, too.
He says every time we go to a new season on a show, I bring in all new writers and bring in new blood.

I mean, it's worked for him.
The West Wing, in my opinion, one of the greatest television shows in the last 25 years.
It's worked for him.
It hadn't worked too well for his writers.
Don't expect tenure around Aaron Sorkin, apparently.
So I'm sure they know that going in.
This is a great show.

I haven't watched this week's episode yet.
I'm a little behind on my TV.

You have somebody that watched all three movies in a row ending with the dark night rises in midnight
You have somebody that just saw the dark night rises at the same time I did when you have a third individual who saw the movie

So someone with maybe a little bit fresher of an opinion

But as you know they read did it yeah, but how what they had in the movie?

He just wasn't that scary scary
Psychotic villain like the Joker was but of course you can't what he slater did last movie is like upper handable
He's more like the jaws of the you know James Bond villains. I'd put bane as but I thought it was too long

I saw it's too long and it is two hours and 45 minutes of the three I thought is the worst of the three
It's still good, but I just thought it's too long. I would say the worst you'd probably say the weakest of all of them
Let's well, but you can still say the worst of the three because the bronze metal is still third place
Yeah, but when you say something it was the worst you indicated it was bad. That is the same
What was it bad or was it going wasn't that strong? It was his least favorite of the least favorite of the three if I may be correct. I chat
I walked away from this very satisfied actually. I mean
It's it's so hard to go into detail about this because you're really very very much as you got to be as vague as you possibly can
With with with what they had to work with and with the amount of story they had to tell
They did about as good of a job as I think they could have done without going completely over the top with it
Personally, I think Tom Hardy was amazing
As just being this unstoppable tank
I mean he wasn't quite as
cerebral so to speak as as he fledger was as the Joker, but
He got his point across quite well
I mean there was no
This man had a and a had a following behind him that was that followed him so blindly with such devotion that
Then we're willing to do anything for his cause
Well, you look at the first bad review that was published of it and rotten tomatoes had to shut down a comment section
Yeah, because people were sitting in the gut death threats and it was crashing
They're not rotten tomatoes website at the website of the paper that got wrote for
Which I think that's that's ridiculous that's ridiculous because I want to ask how many of them saw the film before they post with the comment
Yeah, I'll dare you say that one. We haven't seen the movie yet. It's called it a opinion. Yeah, I call everybody can have one
But I was I was impressed with what they did
Performance is all around and half away was great
half away. Yeah, go ahead
All the newcomers fit in very very well

I just had a couple of issues with it as far as like you said
I didn't have the pacing issue with it that you did don't but as far as the timeline being skewed. I still think that
Kind of put some hiccups in the way that weren't necessary
I'd still find the characters were great and everything and bring some of those people in like the the guy who gave sentencing
You know, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, it hurts was great everything
That's yeah again. Let's be careful. He didn't say
He was vague enough with it. I was very vague and I but I I just thought of the three is some at least favorite, but
Still great acting. I thought everything. I'd still give it a thumbs up, but at that way
I don't know where it places for me personally because they

Story arc and it's it's really hard to define where one

Art form of comic book filmmaking and turned it into a higher art form

Much of a masterpiece the dark night was like watching you to get because I haven't watched either of these films in a long time
I just I just haven't had time
To watch the dark night again
Especially in the frame of mine now post the post the Oscars post all you know him passing away and everything else
I was just my mind was blow
Watching the dark night again. I can't remember what critics said that this movie would be a great film
Even if it had nothing to do with Batman it was a great
Somebody from folks on the family said you have to understand this is not a superhero trilogy
It's it's they're crime. It's a crime. Yes. Yeah, it would be a great crime film
Just beautiful by the time I got to the dark night. I was like okay, here we go
And when the credits for all that didn't feel anything
I didn't feel satisfied. I didn't feel unsatisfied but I didn't feel like

The last five minutes alone I could spend 20 minutes off
There were a lot of things with the end of this film
That in that just I was like so that happened

Asked me these questions in six months
When I talked about it. Yeah, because again if you haven't seen the film
I'm not telling you to not go see the film. I want you to go see the film. It's Nolan
The guy I give the guy a pass no matter what he does
Because now going back and watching Batman begins again

Because going back and watching it again now
Still a good film very much enjoyable, but it took forever to get going
But it it wasn't the dark night no like the dark night again
And I say this about the godfather
The dark night is as close to a perfect film as you can ever make it is
Visually stunning the story telling is amazing he fledger enough said he's ledger
In body that character like no one ever has and I don't think anyone ever can again
It makes you forget nickels that ever put on a clown face not only that
But he understood the character for who the character was as did goyer as did no one in his brother the Joker
There's no rhyme or reason

I had to tell myself there is no way
That this movie can top that it just can't

But like but like I told you and you referenced earlier the time frame gets screwy
I am gonna say one thing about this film if you go to see it it starts with the end of dark night where Gordon's doing his speech
But we jump forward eight months. So know that going into it no no eight years
Yes, right it's an eight-year jump in the middle in the beginning of this film
If you don't know that going in the very beginning of this thing gets very confusing and this is not something we're
Sporting because no they put this out months ago that they were gonna put it and then the timeline does get weird
But I have the exact opposite opinion that dawn has
And I said this to you on the phone when you have a movie that's two hours and 45 minutes long
And I feel you've crammed too much into it you have a problem
Because it got and I said to you on the phone that night for the first time in my life
I want to say to a movie dumb this down a little bit
You feel like it was it just kind of collapsed under its own way. I don't think it collapsed
I just think it got to a point where we were moving we were we got to the point where oh my god
We're so deep into this movie. We have to move faster
And I think a few things got lost in translation as as far as pacing goes up or further so for Batman begins
I agree with you there and then but but I'm watching the dark night again. I think there were a couple of times where I was like oh yeah
We have to still do this
Because as I was watching the dark night I was going oh that's where we are but we sought to do this this this this this the mess
To get to where we're trying to get to
He did it brilliantly
I still think there was a couple of things in the dark night he hmm if if we came out of brass
Actually could have taken out
But I don't feel that there's anything I would have taken out of the dark night rises
I think that from a story telling standpoint
I thought he did it right because it's Nolan and he does a rig in
Inception notwithstanding because I didn't like inception
But this is the guy that did Memento which is one of my favorite movies ever
I just felt that the dark night rises. I still don't know how I feel I feel empty

And I feel optimistic that there could be something down the road. I don't I feel like you rob in this messwack

For everybody that talked crap about Anne Hathaway in this rule in this role suck it she kicked but because she was amazing
She she had every aspect of who so and I think she did a better job than fight for dead because catwoman's not crazy
She's highly intelligent yes and she's just somebody likes to steal stuff and she's in crontown
But I mean I think that was where Burton fell short with it
She didn't have to be crazy no

At the century 16 theater in Aurora Colorado 12 people have been killed and 50 more have been injured
Including a three-month old baby at the midnight showing of the dark night rises Thursday night slash Friday morning
Suspect is 20 four-year-old James Holmes. He walked in in a bulletproof vest gas mask and riot helmet
Problem number one
There were people allegedly and that the year that thought this was part of the experience
He throws tear gas into the theater brings in a rifle a shot gun which was a rubbing to 12 gauge a glauck handgun and an AR 15
Which for those of you that don't know is an assault rifle that resembles an AK 47
We find out later that as the FBI has called in and the local and state authorities go to his apartment
It was statistically booby trapped with over 30 explosives and cindy-ary devices and chemical devices all with trip wires and apparently
There was explosive plan and in the theater as well. He had mentioned it. They never found him. Oh, okay. He had said something about it
But he was actually doing talking about his home. Okay
He wasn't rolled in medical school at the University of Colorado
He also referred to himself as the Joker. There are reports that he had green coloring in his hair
I see after I read I'm like what's red. Oh, is it red? Yeah, he is currently of course
The cops got a hold of him. They are saying he acted alone. He is currently on suicide watch where he is being held
And the prisoners themselves want to get a hold of this. Yeah. Oh, there's no way they're gonna get him or close to him
That's just not gonna happen
First and foremost before we even talk about this
This show as well as everyone else on the planet has sent prayers and
condolences to all of the families involved
This was a horrible horrible incident and it just it when somebody asked me about it last night at work

However for your safety as well as the safety of everyone in the theater, please

I say it because I don't know the gender as well as the six-year-old. I don't I don't believe the six-year-old was a casualty

It's just heartbreaking that
