I have been wanting to address this for a long time It's something that you and I have discussed at Length and in brief conversations for the past several months ever since everything kind of started to Circle the drain for this company and it's Netflix and it's CEO Reed Hastings This guy He made a lot of money long before he even threw his head into the ring with Netflix He had an internet well not really an internet starter going to be a computer software company that was like deep-ugging programs and software It was called pure software or something though that okay, and wound up selling that company for about seven hundred and fifty million got that on me Yeah, I'm sure you do and Then he started up Netflix and We all know the story of Netflix You know, and its infancy it was one of those things where they went from You know eight employees to 16 to 32 to 64. I just got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and You and I jumped on the Netflix fanwagon years ago very early very early and Thought the idea was greatness in my opinion. It's still it still is However Up until last year it was it seemed to be pretty smooth sailing it looked like Netflix could really do no wrong They managed to succeed in an area that Bigger companies that have been around longer.

I'm looking at they got into blue ray before blockbuster Probably should have and just didn't have I think they pioneered instant streaming. Yeah, I think blockbuster is arrogance It's like no we don't really want to go that route We're gonna stick with what we got how many blockbusters have shut down in your neighborhood that you live in folks in the We have two of we have two of them within a 10 mile radius of the studio and how many did we use to have about 140 exactly So Yo, Netflix is definitely working. It's formula is working, but then again You've got other Avenue's like red box and I've also kind of taken money out of Blockbusters back pocket to an extent blockbuster.

I I'm gonna watch you finish and then I'm gonna give my point oh, no, no, I'll jump in anytime No, I want you to finish, but well, I mean there really isn't as starter a finish It's just like I'm going now. I want you to get to the point where we're gonna discuss this because I have my opinion To that is Netflix is that by mail Yes, and in streaming well, but what do you have to have for instant streaming a computer?

Yeah, a computer or a blue ray player or a or a video game console Like you can stream it through the Wii through the PlayStation 3 through the Xbox 360 You most people have at least one Device that will stream Netflix on their TV or computer or you've got an iPhone you can get it there You know, it's on all kinds of portable devices. It's a great thing to have now whenever they did did this Splitting of their services where you could day for where you could like be on one plan Where you got nothing but disks or you could be on another plan where you got nothing but streaming It became like eight bucks per Service depending on how many disks you wanted out right because before you have one disk at a time You could have two at a turn before that it was like the plan that I was on was like one disk out at a time and Streaming it was like ten bucks a month. Well, then all of a sudden two plus blue ray for us this streaming It was like 17.

Yeah, so then all of a sudden it became eight per service Yeah, so I'm like I really don't really use the rentals all that much I'm more of a streaming guy And Netflix took a bath. I mean they took a absolute bath. They had they lost hundreds of thousands of Subscribers because of their business practices.

They tried to completely separate the company Yeah, and then they decided they were gonna switch in midstream and they were gonna call the rental service Where you got disks disks in quickster and they were going to include video games and that package Well, then they've backed off from that quickster got completely put out to pasture. That's a good day. Yeah I mean, you know read Hastings and how he's taken this company down this meandering path Like I mentioned earlier today to somebody I was talking to this talk to you about this I said this guy's done more 180s than Tony Hawk at the X games.

It's ridiculous what this guy is done But he had he's claim it. We're still numbered well because you've got no real competition in this venue That's the point and here's my deal on this read Hastings guys Obviously's got some smarts because he's got money.
