the man you are about to hear is Cody, hello, happy MLB all-star game to everybody tonight,
as we have just gone live in Phoenix, Arizona, and the happy birthday to this show tomorrow,
it was one year ago, one year ago, one year ago tomorrow, and we think each and every one of you
that has been with us all along, we can't really call you P1, maybe down from day 1 or
I don't know, we'll take a selfie, day 1 down from day 1 maybe, I don't know,
oh, it is a great song right here, it is also good to have you in the same room again,
good to be home, as we did the via satellite war class night, last week, we had a few hiccups,
but we got them fixed, and it was a great experiment, I thought I went really well,
everybody enjoyed it that I talked to, we are your one stop shop for all things sports,
pop culture, and pro wrestling, have been for a year now, yes, wow,
it's like Chad says the mothership has landed again, it's something about, call it the friendly confines,
call it whatever you want, being back in studio just feels good,
I literally just got back from my vacation, but three hours ago,
and I'm feeling good, and I'm ready to do this thing, you ready to roll?
I sure am, let's do this, we start out with corrections,
unfortunately I did not have a chance to listen to last week's show,
so I'm going to defer to you, sir, you know, everything you heard,
you know, not offered a debate with the Joe Namus, that my first of interest last week,
which I see you've got one, that I've got a ton of opinions about this week,
I thought you liked that this week, this is probably one of my nemesis,
nemesis?
Yes, in the world of Cody Comics, this is one of my guys,
but no, I didn't, he's spelled the comics for the K,

I want to apologize though, I've heard apology,
been slacking on the, on the you stream on the Facebook,
on the Twitter on the Facebook, I've been, this last week has been fast and furious,
but we're going to get back on the bike and ride with that this week,
we don't have any corrections, I do want to send a couple of shout outs if I may.
Absolutely, first of all, I want to say, I know they're not listening right now,
because they're unpacking a 24 foot moving truck,
feeling Shannon and Shannon's parents and family,
and their lovely daughters had a great time with them this weekend,
drove back out here with them, had the big road trip,
want to thank them for a great time,
want to thank my best friend in the whole world Rico,
who listens to show from time to time,
they put me up at their house for a few days,
Julie put me up at her parents' house for a few days while I was down there,
and to all my friends Brian, who's a listener to the show very faithfully,
had his birthday on Thursday,
and to everybody that I got to see,
there'll be a blog post later this week of me giving individual thanks,
but thanks to everybody who made the Abamination Tour 2011,
a rousing, rousing success,
and although the well-wishers from summer band 38,
it was a great day, we had a great time.
Only thing that would have made it better is that the lovely and talented Mrs. Irvin were with Riffing,
but I'll be seeing her shortly, so there's that.
That being said, it's time to dive right into the deep end of the pool.
I do like that song a lot.
We've used it every week for like 48 weeks, and I love that song.
Is that song more of a wake-up call than just,
I love that song.
You need one screen, it's five hour energy.
And that song is where I was kind of moving on from Metallica,
but that's a great song by Metallica.
One of my personal favorite.
Oh, I love it.
Their entire catalog.
Personally, am I an opinion.
You know, it's time to talk NASCAR.
It is.
And as we all, if you did listen to the show last week,
you do remember this was an inaugural race in Spartacan Tucky,
as the Quaker State 400 guy underway,
and buddy, it had its problems.
Most of the fans couldn't get into the venue
because traffic was so bad outside of the track.
Really?
Tucky Speedway's parent company Speedway Motorsports
Incorporated was also owned Charlotte
and our own Texas Motor Speedway here in the DFW Metroplex.
There's some problems there.
I think it literally Texas Motor Speedway was just a gridlock nightmare
when they first opened it.
When they first opened, I went to rock fest there.
There were people leaving the north side of town
and it took them eight hours to go an hour.
But let me ask you this because again,
for those of you listening, maybe for the first time,
I, Rob, am the NASCAR dumb guy.
I don't understand a lot about NASCAR.
Cody fills in the gaps for me.
He does so very well.
Is this something that's seen a lot in new tracks?
Or is this just kind of a phenomenon for this company?
Well, it shouldn't be a phenomenon in Kentucky
because they've hosted on the...
I'm going to call it the Bush series
because they did host the Bush series.
They've hosted craftsmen, truck races there before.
They've hosted cart races, indie races,
and they always drew great crowds.
So it's like a lot of people going to a race in Sparta, Kentucky
was that big of a deal.
SMI tracks will hold six more cut races this season,
including New Hampshire, which is this Sunday, New Hampshire.
Okay.
Bristol Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway,
and Atlanta Motor Speedway.
So like us, that group owns a lot of tracks
in NASCAR.
So Kentucky, listen to this.
The Kentucky Senate President David Williams said,
I sympathized with the great NASCAR fans who didn't get in.
Because hell, I was one of them.
Wow.

So I mean, this thing was pretty widespread.
They've offered fans free tickets to next year's event.
Don't know where you're going to be sitting at.
But they have offered some sort of a thing.
Get a T-shirt, get a prize pack.
Maybe some meat and Greek type things.
But Kyle Busch, who I believe will be the Dell Earnhardt
of this generation, don't it out there.

who's kind of starting to make one of them Jeff Gordon type runs
here late in the season.
A name you noticed I did not mention the top 10
was when Dell Earnhardt did it.
That was going to be my next question.
As he continues to skid, he finished 30th.
Oh wow.
But at least he finished.

And I don't know.
You know, I'm a, I'm a, I like Dell Jr.
A lot of fans.
I know a lot.
He's most popular driver every single year
that we seem to, to do this voting.
The guy has to win a race.
It's been almost 125 races.
This is Dylan Hart Jr.'s won a sprint cup race.
I think it's time for maybe him to, to win a race.
In my opinion.
I think I don't think you're in the minority in that.

And I see pictures of him.
You know, he, Danny Capatric does race for
Motorsports in the bush.
I believe they're one in the same.
Young guys, great marketers, horrible race car drivers.
Debate it.
I like Dell Jr.
You've been a fan of this for many, many years.
It's a gene skipped a year.
It's a good generation.
The guy that owns Richard Childish racing,
obviously Richard Childish, horrible race car driver,
brilliant businessman.
I think Dylan Hart Jr.'s future in NASCAR
is going to be a car owner, a businessman.
Well, that redeemed his, his legacy though.
If he's able to do that.
It could.

as a New Hampshire motor speedway.

Boy, Dell Jr.'s has gone from third to eighth in three races.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two debuts this Friday

It's a little over a minute long,

It's kind of weird for me,

of the original series to be able to say,
but you've lived in this area your whole life.

If you ever visit Dallas,
there's a little place,
and you know, at that thing,
Dallas generations getting older,
that remember that.

I'm going to say it's about 25 miles east of Dallas,
and actually see the actual working South Fork Ranch.

but just not really acting up a storm, if you will.

he is rumored to be your front runner
to purchase the Dallas stars.
