For coupled headlines first of all as of last night,
Ressel, Maneick's 27 hit the 1 million buy mark.
But here's, and here's the first thing.
Ressel, Maneick we know is the big one every year,
showcased in the immortal's.
But this is the first time since Ressel, Maneick's 23 and
WW keeps had a 1 million buy rate.
You know, I don't want to say all that was the rock. I don't want to say all that was
this that any other, but he didn't hurt that card by no means. I thought here even
this this room here was packed. We had a bunch of people here.
Oh, I could imagine that's the buy rights there. I wish we could get back to where
they were doing that consistently on all the major pay reviews. But then says in the
mode right now that he's taking entertainment and substance over his titles.
Absolutely, it's last year. It was up 115,000 from WrestleMania 26, which was
855,000, but that paper view was down 125,000 from the year before.
WrestleMania 25 did 960,000 by us. So, you're still in the good number range, don't you?
Oh, absolutely. None of them's tank. Also in the last few days, WWE had its annual
shareholder speedy. For those of you that are stock people, and Andrew and I have
actually talked about this. Right now, WWE stock is only a 10-50 one a share.
That's not 10,000. That's 10 dollars and 51 cents. You can have a share of WWE right now.
Now, probably not right now because the market's not open, but right now that's what
the shares are at. We found out something very interesting. We talked about, you know,
the rock. How long's he going to be around? Let's the contract. Right now, according
to Vince McMahon on this particular conference call, rock's on a handshake deal. He is not
under contract, too. WWE, which I personally find a little unstable.
Oh, absolutely because then you, if he, okay, Monday not, we're doing his birthday thing.
I would think if you're going to make a main event for WrestleMania, you'd at least have
the man under a contract. I would think. Yeah. What if he changes his mind? Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
WrestleMania 28, which rumors may or may not involve us.
Oh, yeah. But yeah. You would think that you'd have the game. You're going to book
something that far out. You at least want to have the contract on some point. Absolutely.
Also, can I say what I shared with you? Absolutely. I think with Vince at that,
dude, we're going to cut back on the pay per views. He alluded to that. He said he thinks that
with the network in 2012. Some of these pay per views will go away and they will be strictly
on the network. I'm good with that. So maybe one like this one, or maybe over the limit,
instead of making a pay per view, they'll show it as a event. Now, let me ask you this, though,
there's no doubt in my mind that the network is going to be something that will be a premium
channel for establishments like the one we're in. How does that affect them? You know,
they said that they're going to try to get all the, the major, direct TVs, dish network.
The major networks are already signed on and will be on board. It will be similar to a
NFL network. So if you are, it may be like a sports premium. Absolutely. Yeah. That's
sports premium package. It would be included in that. Much like I like for me for WWE
classics on demand at the house on Pay and 7 bucks a month. Yeah, this would be completely rolled
into a sports pack. Also on rock news, I'm not sure if you guys have heard about this or not. This
is wheels off for you. This is the rock has been cast in his next major movie roll. It is a
bio pick. You heard about that. Ready for this. The rock playing Charlie Pride.
The tree singer Charlie Pride will be portrayed by Duane the rock Johnson. This was actually
announced by Charlie Pride himself. What's even stranger is who he beat for the roll.
Yeah, and this guy, yeah, did he throw his lost the Iron Man 2 roll to cheat.
Yep. This would be Terrence Howard originally slated to play Charlie Pride. Now he
played by the rock Charlie Pride said the rock came to visit him. They spent a day together
in Dallas and he just thought the rock was right for this roll. And you said something very interesting
to me on the drive over here. And where you think this whole ball came from? Yeah, kind of,
I think the rock, you know, with with his involvement in sports and sports, there's
man, I'm at a loss on this. I just don't see the rock pulling off playing Charlie Pride.
Stranger Things have happened. I just don't see that, but you know, that's it's a good story.
Every since walked the line came out and was so successful, these country music biopics have just
it's been huge. I need my waylon Jennings movie. Can I play either Brooks or Doug?
No. Trying to break him out. The only other note of a thing of note from the annual shareholder's
being Triple H was actually introduced by his first name. I think he's done and introduced as the
senior advisor to the chairman's office. This is official roll without a comment. I think he
him him in rings over. I hate to say that, but you haven't heard he thinks it's an idea
to wrestle, man. Nothing. So I mean, it's not like that's not an illogical conclusion. Yeah,
but I would like a lot better. Send off than that. Let me cut a promo. Yeah.
But Randy starts Randy Orton starts SmackDown on Thursday night. Misty, did I watch it? Have you
watched it? Could you believe the pop that man got with that music hit? It was ridiculous. That
could to me. That could be the loudest pop Randy Orton ever had on his show in the history of ever.
Andrew, also Randy Orton's fan. You probably agree with me. That was amazing.
McIntyre comes to run his mouth and gets RKO for his trouble. You know,
who is on Riley doesn't even get the Sandy family. He can tell you what, quit making the RKO
to stone cold stunner and quit trying to make Randy Orton Steve Austin. Well, here's what
is that that bit's been done. It was done great. They're slowly trying to make this move
so it'll happen if they try to change it. They'll go to the papers if he has to. That's all I'm saying.
What's going to be worse? Well, the way that I am or the condemned,
will be I just don't know how. Yeah. Oh, you know, I'm moving. Yeah. Let's see,
but the condemned got a major theatrical release. That's true. The way that I am, you have to drive
the South Lake. Or what was that? He was all sitting in it or not. No, no, no, no. Oh,
shaker height, shaker height. No disrespect to any of our listeners and shaker heights,
Ohio, but really. Yeah. Sounds like an OECW paperbubing. And then all of a sudden at some point,
we cut to the backstage, Coli and his little buddy are talking. And we have this,
it was at New Hinder Mahal or Jinder Mahal. I don't want to mess it. Is this a new
WWE guy under contract? They just they they talked in their native language and then walked away
and we cut to commercial. I was conflank. I said with Coli, if you listen to say not live on
you stream every Tuesday. If you listen, you know, that's our slogan is the India market. So
I said this on Tuesday. It's got that we keep in point. It doesn't be. I just don't know if he
doesn't anything. But he's a cop. He's a cop over there. And he is a major celebrity in that
country. I mean, he shows up. It's a big deal. And Vince wants it. They talked about global offices
at the shareholders meeting. Maybe this is part of that. Now, when he opens WWE year up at
WWE Central America, we can take credit for that. Man, it's my deal. I'm not saying I'm just
our right side. Are we, are we divorcing or are we starting to find any property? Is that what's going on
here? I get it. I get the light. No, delight. I was for me. We get to the main event. Why is Randy
still using the angle slam? Isn't this bit done? I like it. I think it's funny. It's kind of
it. Well, let's see if angle does the RKO. But did you also notice the play by play? They
didn't even refer to it by anything in any way. Just go all straight over it. Just oh yeah,
there's that and we moved on, which was a little strange. That's all I've got for SmackDown,
really. I mean, this show has been very, very bad, as of late. Well, like we talked about on our
show is is Randy Orton that guy that can put a shot in the arm of SmackDown. I think that
tensile's there. I didn't realize he'd been on Raw and when he was when he was drafted, you know,
after Cena. I was like, well, they're going to make SmackDown the Asia. Well, I was never going to go
that far. Yeah, but I was like Randy might be a guy, but what's weird is everything to me depends on
Randy Orton. What happens in the world title match tonight? Which we'll talk about here in just a moment.
Are we going to heal turn him as he's going to just be a tweener and just whoever's going to get
our KOD and pun it now, is that his bit that he's going to do? And I don't know. But let's let's talk about
this card right now as it stands. You only have six matches on this card. I don't know what
over there going to be him. I just kind of, as we always do our special additions. I put him kind of
in order of what I think is important. Until two days ago, we didn't have a divas match on this card.
We do now, Leila versus Michelle McCool, no disqualification, no count out, right? I guess that
makes it extreme. Loser leaves WWE now. If you watch SmackDown, and I noticed this and I didn't
get it verified until today, when she cuts the promo and they're cutting the promo on each other.
And Michelle, McCool says, Loser leaves and they cut to Leila, when she said WWE, it sounded weird
to me. Originally, when she cut the promo, she said, Loser leaves SmackDown. They looped it.
Apparently Michelle wants time off. Some people are rumored to be saying she's leaving
for good. Well, there's no hands, anybody get a miss or? Because I'm not, I'm not racing mine.
Baby? Yeah. I'm not saying possible. I have not heard any rumours of a baby.

Yeah, I think, and also with the rumour that Undertaker will be on Raw. When he returns,
he will be on Monday Night Raw, which is a summer slam, is when we see him on Raw, because
let him go out his crew. No, be off the base. No, no, that works.
Also, Rey Mysterio versus Cody Rhodes falls count. Anywhere? Cody's got to win again.
If you're going to build, you know, he, you heard him. He was on busted open. Don't like to promote
other shows here. You know, I'm a big fan of his rugby sky. So, but you know, she's not on that show
right now. But busted open on XM. He said he plans to be fighting in the main event next year at
WrestleMania. Cody does. What he said, he ever watched Plastic Man, you knew where a kid.
That's a stretch, sir. So, what he said, and the same way it says, but doesn't everybody want to be the
main event at WrestleMania, but I'd like to be the main event at WrestleMania. We traded one
mask guy for another mask guy in the SimCara, but he is the difference between these two.
One of them has the structure to cut a promo, the other one doesn't. And Cody, I don't know if
Rey win and does anything, especially with Rey leaving for wrong. I just, it definitely wraps up the
angle because you really can't do much with the storyline after this part with the being on separate
shows. But again, they missed our opportunity to do mask versus hair. Who won it, WrestleMania?
That's true, because they get the win back tonight. Paul's County, where it means it's extreme.
I don't know what, PG-13 extreme. This doesn't mean maybe those guys come out and say no,
or the words at some point. It's so hard. It's hard for me to really understand how they're
going to pull that. There's two on here that make me go. They're going to pull that off with no
maybe accidentally somebody believes. You now hear the theme of the aforementioned Randy Orton
versus CM Punk last man standing. You are on record as saying you enjoy the last man standing match.
Yes. We had a show on the show this week. She missed he's pumping her fist. I'm just not a fan of
the last man standing. I'm a fan of everything. I never have fan. I never will be. It just doesn't
do anything for me. I like to take a 10 second match. I'm a fan of the of the last man standing if Paul
dangerously is booking it. You see, I need trash cans, I need chairs, I need bar wire, I need stuff
on fire. You guys jumping off balcony. Yeah, I'm going to talk about it. It's just, it's odd for me to
really how they're going to pull this stuff off. But this is another one ending of an angle. We're
ending Punk and Orton. So you have to, because again, they're on separate shows. I just want to know
when we're going to get back to the Nexus. Yeah, once again, we've taken a great angle that we
thought was going to be really good and he killed it. Well, we thought maybe we'd see Michael
Tarver Jordan. We found that on the way here tonight. Michael Tarver now out indefinitely after
taking a bad DDT and an FCW show from one consequences Creed. So this guy apparently still
get work. Yeah, former Dean on the MTA guys. You can't do all the over there for too much. Yeah,
because that company will be gone. Like I said, ditch, ditch super stars. Give FCW a time. We've already
ditched super stars and started YouTube. Yeah, our YouTube or you stream or what is it on?

they had a divis belt change recently. I don't know. So and Vicki supposedly not here tonight,
because she's working an angle with her daughter. FCW is actually in a show.
Now they're doing a show right now. And that's where she's at tonight working an angle. So if you've got
any Vicki fans out there, we will apologize to you in advance for her. She will not be there tonight.
Also tonight, if I've ever in my life, I've been on this planet a few years.
If I've ever in my life prayed for the end of an angle, this next match is in.
Jerry the King Waller and Jim Ross versus Sir Michael Cole and Jack Swagger in a tag team
country with being the match. I had to say that very slowly because things could get a little
wheels off if I don't. And apparently on SmackDown Cole said, this is his specialty.
Well, you know, you have a situation where we thought JR might have broken his hand Monday night.
That was all over that order tonight. I guess X-rays were negative. He was at home.
It was in Tampa last night. He's not home. But that's the hotel watching the paper view and
had his hand wrapped in ice. So I guess it's going to go on. I'm ready for this to end. Number one.
Swagger. Swagger and Cole together is wheels off anyway. Also, I just don't know a little bit of
a blow up with them on SmackDown. So maybe we're teasing. I don't like the announcers wrestling.
Even if it is JR, which I love to see Jim Ross, he's a legend. Obviously, a Hall of Famer.
I don't know if I need to see him in the ring. I will not debate that. So that that it'll be fun.
But never let it be said that guy won't do anything for the company. That's true. But to me,
the faces have to win tonight to end the angle. In my opinion, I still was hoping we trade the GM
to SmackDown. But yeah, and I'm just kind of wondering, what are we waiting on to find out who the
raw GM is? What are we waiting on? And I still honestly believe that they don't even know.
I mean, do we need to sign somebody on a Chris Jericho getting eliminated from dancing with the
stars this past week as we were on the air? Yeah, breaking sound or happy. Yes. Maybe?
Here's my thing. And I just thought about this. This literally just just worked it's way to the
old Kabeza. weren't we supposed to see Savage in April? We're supposed to. It's now Mason.
I think he's teasing. I think he's going to try to hook back up with Hogan over TNA.
I don't know if Vince has a spot for him. Another age in the cage, man. Exactly. But we are live at

On a ladder match for the world heavyweight championship as Christian takes on Alberto Del Rio.
This is where things are going to get a little weird. Yeah, because
when we talked on Tuesday before the show, I said, well, to me, they've given away the
ending of this match. Have totally got to have. Here's my theory. I remember I told you I had a
theory on the way up here. I didn't want to run it. I think maybe Del Rio wins both belts on raw
and you finally unify them. I'm just saying him and I think this soon after a draft though.
I just I don't know if we've had those belts on the same show before or they were both on
SmackDown when you had seen a Triple H on the same show. Vince has watered down all of these belts
so much. I just don't think it matters anymore. I mean, this does let's be honest. Does
seen a need the belt? Apparently. I don't think he does. He's like a 20,000-time champion.
It's seen. Yeah, I mean, just orton need the belt. Orton wants a belt. He does, but only he needs it.
I really believe Christian wins Finale. And this has been to me. This has been years
overdue. But then let me ask you this. If Christian wins this belt, do you turn
orton heal? That's what we talk. Yeah, I don't I don't know what you do with him because Orton's
going to want to be the world champion. He's going to want to be the guy over on SmackDown. And I just
I could see Christian and Orton work in face versus tweeter. I mean, the other side of that coin.
And you and I talked about this on the drive-in. You could break the walls down.
Yeah, Chris Jericho. I think that if Jericho does show up tonight, it's got to be in the
Randy Orton scene punk match simply because Orton put him out. He punned him, they stretchered him out.
That kind of ended Chris Jericho. That's kind of a ton of a title picture. You didn't
want to work in angle. Exactly. No, I don't know if you have to work in first month as champion.
I love this thing song. It's good. I think Christian deserves it. I think I agree with what
our good friend, Jess Driver from Lanty.com. Yes, sir. Is I think it makes sense because
if you Christian could get the and I hate to say this. I'm going to when Ray Mysterio got the big
Eddie Gerro post Eddie Gerro push after Eddie. You're going to hear me debate that left left this
world. I think Christian could get the post Edge push in all this as Edge's buddy won the title.
Ah, I hate to see this. Or does Edge have one more match in him and Edge turns on Christian?
The same. From what I have read. It's be created. From what I have read, this one last match for
Edge is a physical impossibility. Like this, the injury is fast back. Well, you know, and we've
been talking about change in summer slam. Something different. If for us is the grass always greener
around the other side of this. On this show. But I do like I wish I wish Christian would win tonight.
Then we get to to read. To me, I guess it's going to be the biggest match on the card. If you
want to call it that John Cena versus John Morrison versus the Miz and a triple threat steel
cage match because that's extreme for the WWE championship. Okay, how long do me just get a poll of the
room? Okay, our troops involved in five minutes this match starting. It's a sum factor in some
shape or form. He gets involved in this. You're going to hear me say something right now that you
don't hear me say a lot. And Shaw was probably going to kick me in the shin for this. So that's
just to reach out to kick me in the shin. This retains. I don't see how any of the way it works.
And would we would this guy won the title? We both said this is going to be the first time somebody
catches in money in the bank and loses. And that was the- And he still is the night after
the survivors. It was also the Monday before Thanksgiving. And then after your mind of around that.
That he's had that belt that long approaching a six month title run for a guy that until
November that we can have for Shaw was birthday. We were like, okay, he'll hold this to maybe the
baby that it was okay. He's dropping this thing in elimination. There's no way he goes in the
WrestleMania the champion. Then there was no way he walks out of WrestleMania the champion. Then it was
okay. He'll drop it. No, he still holds that belt. And I really think he's going to be so much
shenanigans in this match even though it's a cage match because it's not hell with a cell that he has to
reach. I think you know what I would think. Well, maybe if I say that would be a natural progression is
Del Rio lose. He gets involved in the cage match cost Cena the belt and he automatically have two big
on-roll. You have a top-hill on-roll in being Alberto Del Rio. Since seeing punk with you heard
Tuesday did not resign his contract with WWE. We know he's leaving. But that will be till the end of
the summer slam he's done. He's wanting a Chris Jericho tight break. So we know where he can get all
in dance. I can't see that in him. I'm just saying it. So straight edge. Can you write a book?
Straight edge. Can you write a book? I don't know. I've never been big fan.
If you have a fan? No. Okay. What is he going to do? He's straight edge though. That is one of
the guys that lives the bit. But yeah, I don't see Cena winning if he does. I wouldn't be shot.
I think this match is going to be a booking nightmare. I think this match is going to be a
well, I told you what I do. Just to set the world on fire. But it's on more. No. I leave our
truth in the match and I put the belt on our truth. Just to blow the-

And they've killed the intercontinental title to me and the divas title I believe with awesome
Kong, which I think makes her debut tonight. I think tonight's the night that that becomes the
women's title. I think they dropped the butterfly belt and they couldn't say something.
Bring back the women's belt. Please. Call game doing no bikini contest. She ain't doing
trust me. She could. She could. Yeah, let's just, this is America. You have that. She's not,
yeah, that's not her. She won't be calm. She won't be calm. That's a karma. So yeah, just,
I still think that I think they do add the US belt because you can't have the US belt any
or continental belt. I'm going to say, Joe, you've got to move one of them to Raw and Kofi just got
rid of the IC belt to go ahead and throw the US belt because that's what he is. Yeah, that's what he is.
He's MVP. But you know, you hear stuff that you're too right now as it is right now. Your
two top heels on SmackDown are shameless and wait Barrett and they both have secondary belts.
Yeah, and I just don't know how the SmackDown dynamic with some of these guys, how it's going
to work unless to me, honestly, Orton works both shows or Cena works both shows. There's only
watch that was teased. That was teased. That Cena was willing to work both. So that's going to
be Alberto Del Rio. I guess you already knew that. But I could see them going, hey, man,
just didn't work out. Hey, John, can you work two days? We're getting done for that. Oh,
very nicely done there. You snuck that, I know me. The next question I have is,
we talked about this on the show two weeks ago and it blows my mind that you do the draft
on the go home show before a paper view for those that don't know what that means. That is what
what they call the last show before a paper view is called a go home show. Why do you do the draft
right before a paper view? Yeah, because to me, I think you gave away a lot of stuff. I mean,
what effect in your opinion does that have on what could or could not happen tonight? Well, to me,
if there's only a few matches that it it impacts, it doesn't impact your WWE title match because
we're all in the same show. For now, I believe that the Christian Alberto Rio,
to me, that's a booking nightmare. What I said about the WWE. Yeah, we so I'm swapping that.
I just, do you put it on Del Rio and then have both belts on Raw? Or do you finally hand
Christian the ball and go run with this for two or three months? We owe it to you. Which they do?
You know, Christian, but he's a way. He did the fact that TNA, to me, he was one of Vince's
first guys to really go over there as Christian Cage. They put they finally took the belt off
Jarrett and put it on Christian and he won that title right away. And he comes back and he's
Vince's doghouse firm. You know, they brought him back on East, a horrible version of ECW. Put the
belts on him pretty quickly there. And then he kind of drowned in obscurity on both
rosters on Rawl's roster for a lot of years and then smack down. So the edge retirement to me
has put a lot of life back into the Christian character and the story. I just don't know if
Vince's going hand in the ball. I'm just, I'm not convinced of that as if yet. If he doesn't do it
now and is he doing? Never. I mean, this, this is the time. Smack down is primed for him to run
with the title. He's obviously your top face on that chat now. Yes, absolutely. Although you could
want in one a him with Randy at this point. I just, Randy, you know what, you know, we, we talk about
this and I know we're kind of sitting in part for a second. Remember how we said, you know what
Triple H is problem is. He's running on people to fight. Yep. Randy Orton's in the same position
right now. Robert America. Yeah, he's fought everybody. He's done the Undertaker. He's, he's done,
he's done the deal with Triple H and Sean and Foley and Jericho. It's just, Randy Orton's at a,
a stop down to where what else are we going to do with him that he hasn't already done? Yeah.
I mean, I can't debate you. Do you need to see him in Shamus? Him in Barrett? Well,
you could continue on his, you know, he went, he fuded with the Nexus. That's going to do
that a core core. They got to have something to do. Break that up. Not if you, you got to break
them both out. You got to balance it. Can we, can we go sideways just for a minute? Which again,
we broke something right before we went on air to the people here at Fox and Hound. We do
cover more than just professional wrestling on that show on this show normally. We also cover sports
and pop culture. You broke something right before we went on the air. We get confirmation on that.

Usually when we do these special additions, we always tend to have a list that goes with it.
And the history of that pay-per-view, of course, at WrestleMania. We talked about the streak.
We took the streak year by year and opponent by opponent. Unfortunately, with this paper
of you tonight, there's not really enough history that we can talk about, but you brought up a
great point. That's going to turn into our little discussion piece that we're going to have here
for the next few minutes. What will add to this? To me, what led to this was probably the great
that it can I say this? Who you debate me that it was probably the greatest pay-per-view that I
want to put on together. And we both agree. The very first ECW one night stand to me. Would you agree
with that? Was that 06 or 05? Was it 05? Yeah. I own this thing on DPD.
Basically, the story of this thing with Vince called Poly Dangerous plants that I want to do an ECW
deal. I want to do a paper view. I want you to bring back all the old ECW guys. It just does.
Poly Dangerous he said, I'll do it on one condition. Vince said what? He said, I want full
booking control. And I want my own segments with a live mic. Not added. No next.
And Vince went done and done. But we built up to this and the ECW guys went invaded
SmackDown. If you remember that, I mean, JBL got into a real real life physical altercation with
the Blue Venium and both say to this thing was going on. But the way they had it up at the old
hammerstein ballroom. Yes, they did sir. But they had the SmackDown roster on one side and the red
like the other night, the RAW. But they're all in the balcony. They're all in the balcony. They're all
in the balcony. The weird thing to me is if you had the DPD version of this, the DPD starts before
the actual paper view did. Because Joey Styles comes to the ring. The place is going insane.
Joey Styles is fighting back tears. Let's out the oh my god. The paper view didn't start until
after that happened. And TNA tried to copy that. That was last year. Was it extreme?
It was that it was their August paper view. I totally went blank on that.
What was that thing? And they brought the guys back. That's what they were trying to
just. It should be just gorgeous. Yeah. Hardcore. That's what they were trying to copy. But
to me, the best not. There's two parts of this going. This is pretty cool.
Polys a little bit when he got in there started in Raven and called out Erick Bishop and just went nuts
without TNA. Let's go ahead and just break down that promo. He calls out this shop. He calls out TNA
for basically destroying what was left. I mean he did. It was on the wall by that point. When
ECW went to what was that TNA which would then become Spike TV. But he did. This was at the time
when Art was imitating life with the leader, Edge, Matt Hardy love triangle, which was real.
Poly takes one looking at that balcony and then hides your wife's Edge. Before there was an
Antoine Dodson. Yeah. So there was a Poly nature. And then the crowd started going sort of,
he was, I want Matt F and Hardy out here. You said I got two words. You got Matt at that F and
F art final. Yes. But then also then he called out JBL who had already had an altercation with
one of his guys and said the only reason why you've been champion for a year is because Triple H
don't work two day nights. One of the greatest things I've ever seen in a promo. Now that was
my thing with Poly. Great personality. The horrible business man. Booker could not run,
could not run a ledger in a book to save his life. Just not a good business man. You know,
he owns zero of that now. I mean, Vince, when he finally sold out to Vince, Vince bought every
every bit of footage worth using. Also, remember how it ended was you had the sides being
uh-huh, both all the rosters and they're throwing down and then all the blasts broke Austin's music hits.
And where we were at went. But then I thought the roof was going to blow off.
Puggly when it was down the street here. God rest at so. And then he's there by thought,
oh, WWE's got another guy on their side. And he starts stunning all the way. But I thought that was
pretty cool how they ended. Now the next year on that was, I see. And that's something I think a lot of
people don't understand is Vince's version of ECW didn't happen after that. It was another year
when they did another one night stand before Vince debuted what he called ECW two nights later.
Remember the the second year of this way? He did say it's not your father's ECW.
Edience, Ed, uh, Sino was fighting for the belt. And that one crowd in this that's one sign.
Sino wins. We ride it. And that started. That was really, I mean, I don't really want to put it on
the same level. But that sign became a three, 16-esque. Yeah. Because after that for years,
it was whoever was we ride it. You know, that was the night that Ed came out with a
motorcycle helmet on. Speared season through a table. Oh, don't look at the whole crowd. That was when
seated took off the shirt and threw it in the crowd. And they threw it back. Like seven times. They were
just throwing it in the shirt back. And at one point, seated just started laughing because it was at
those ECW crowds. If you get a chance, if you do have on demand and I'm hope when Vince does
gets a network far up next year, there's a lot of funny matches and a lot of funny moments in ECW
where the crowd kind of dictated what the guys did in the ring. And I think that's something right
now that even we noticed during the main event with Miz and Sino WrestleMania. Until you heard
Rock's music, the crowd was dead. They were completely out of it. And there were times Monday,
I know Monday nights are hard, rawled, it's judge because you were really pushing the first draft ever.
Yeah, you were kind of pushing the draft. But to me, the crowds and these bigger rena's are dead with ECW
and such a smaller. And I wish it a paper if you liked this, he would at least get it in a smaller arena.
Because we're at the thund what's it called there in Tampa? At one time at eight times for him was last
I knew. Okay. One time it was the, the ice house. The ice house, yeah. But not the Thunderdome. That was a movie.
I know Triple H and Triple H and Undertaker both fine for Cherishot's at WrestleMania. So if you're not going to do that to mine,
but it did, but it was just the Cherishot to the head. Okay. Remember, you can take a Cherishot. You just can't take one to the head.
I just don't know what's going to happen. I just, I really can't figure out how you're going to have something
considered extreme when you're, you're wanting a PGE era product. Also, we found out we'll be here.
WWE has also signed a contract with Miller and Cours Brewering that they will be now promoting bear with me.
Keystone light. There's Nadie and there's Keystone light in the bear world.
And WWE will be doing commercials. Our W superstars will be promoting. So I guess Keith Stone is unemployed now.
That's our mascot now. But that broke. We want to wait over here that WWE has signed a contract
with Miller Core Brewering to promote. Can I get it online? Can I get it inside on you for a minute?
Yes. We're talking bear. We're talking wrestle.
Bear. Okay. Yeah. Does the mention of Keystone light give you weird flashbacks?
Of a night. Another one night. Well, well, yeah. I remember it. I remember a night when yeah.
Sometimes the jokes are just for us. Yeah. But to me, you told me this all the way over,
this is just the next step of us getting rid of this attitude here. Yeah. We got to get back to the
during the shareholders meeting. Vince did address that. And he admitted he goes, I think with the
attitude era, I think we pushed the envelope too much. He admitted that.
In the shareholders meeting, go back and listen to what I read it. He goes, you know what? I think
the problem we made is we were so worried about what fish off was doing. Good. Good choice for that.
Well, it's been guys. It was it worked. It's the easy fact. We pushed the envelope so far
with the beer trucks and with the the girls in there. So that it was hard to go back. It's hard to
now go back. And he said, it'll, you know, we're all concerned of having another outbreak of
Papa Shongo's and doing the clowns and all these characters. Right now, they're at that point
because if you're trying to, I mean, I understand you want to care that 18 to 34 demographic.
That's the most prized demographic in entertainment. Yes. If you're going to care to that
demographic, that's not the kids demographic. No, but there's, there's a line. There's, there's a
balance that you can strike. And Vince, I thought, did it very well in the late 90s.
Yeah, I think with as free for all is underway. Oh, I just kind of, I just don't know with the
PGR and I hate to knock this. I just don't know where else you go. You have to get a little
edgeier and you've got to get a little. Well, you live in the, maybe walk that we always see to say
this walk the line. It's maybe Vince needs to start walking the line a little bit more.
To me, that's what I think's killed a lot of people's interests. Let's be honest. If you had
one of these going right now, 1997, with Stone Cold and when all that, the rot, this place would be packed.
Absolutely. Every month, you went to walk in the door. And you thought you'd probably have Monday,
nights in a service like this. You'd probably have what back then, which Thursday night. Exactly.
I just, we're overdue. The cycle was now overdue because it's usually about every 10 years. We're
now a couple of three years past that 10 year mark. I think it's time to kind of figure out if he's
going to, I just, I just don't know right now. We were talking about this on Tuesday night live on
you stream 7 to 9. If you, every Tuesday night, if you look back, I think there's a lot of guys
right now on that roster that can hold a secondary title. Yeah, when's the next guy going to come
up after Sina to further this deal? Well, you can't check up the note about what do we talk
about on this show every week. Bring back the TV title. Yeah, but I just, I'm talking about as far
as main event guys. Will the next main event guy, world, future world champion? That guy's not on
this roster right now. I'm in my opinion. Now, what they do with Cody Rhodes down the line,
he's always going to have a speech in pen and holding back. That's the best. It's like I've always
said, Justin got daddy's looks and Cody got daddy's voice. Yeah, so that's on a knot. That's just the
way it is. Same thing with Drew McIntyre. Same thing with a lot of these guys. There's little
things that are holding them back from being Triple H, don't go Steve Austin, but John Sina,
Edge, Randy Orton. There's, there's search on Michaels or certain things the Undertaker. There's
sir. I'm, can I continue? No, I'm continuing. There's win is that next person going to step up.
And how do you, how do you go to a non-PG era with right now? Nobody fits the mold to carry the
company to even do that. And you keep moving these guys back and forth FCWW. And to me, that's also
the danger of as much as I loved up enough this year. That's the danger of a show like tough enough.
That we've seen in the past as you can't build a gimmick around the guy, but you know everything
about going into it. That's true. But no, that ECW, that one night stand to me was the, this is what
it's become. If you can get a hold of it, go back and watch that again. Also as a companion piece,
get the rise in fall of ECW. If you don't know much about the original ECW, and as much as Vince's
documentary tends to be a little loopsided, this one doesn't mean was one of that, that one
if you, if you couple it with the tripe and tragedy of world class. Two of the best documentaries
that WWE has produced are those two, but go back and watch rise in fall of ECW. Go back and watch
ECW one night stand 2006. It's, it's four or five hours of your life that you won't want back.
