I just don't know if they have enough guys outside of Dirk that can make big shots
But you can win big ball games. You can't deny me this
Dallas has the advantage in depth. Oh, yeah, Dallas is bitch
I think that's another big key for both teams. It has them's banged up
I'm gonna a 10 year a 14 year veteran Mike bibi if I'm the Mavericks Mike bibi does not scare me
Now thank Mike bibi's a great player his best days are five to eight years in the other
You have to see him in a starting lineup for me, but it just freaks me out if we get a deal

You had a lot of green runs which means you had a lot of racing going on without caution so people were taking a lot of of

Radius and you start people trying these cars don't have gas gauges in them
So you people calculate your fuel. I was doing a lot of people were saying today. Hey, I got a last gauge on my car
So these don't so basically there's a lot of math involved because that was gas at NASCAR
So you had a lot of people that were saying they were going to be a lap short half a lap short two lap short
So if you were in the top five it became a gamble. There was no cautions
Uh, there there was a finally a caution with three laps left
Which are gonna get a green white checker junior stays out he takes the gamble
Last lap now if it goes please explain this to me because again
I've made no mistake on this show that I am NASCAR not spark
If there is a caution and you pit do you still get to go back to where you were at the pack?
How does that work you you would then race off pit road?
But you have to keep below a I believe it's a 45 or 50 mile per hour speed limit on pit road
You'd have to get back race off pit road then that's your place in the race
Okay, so basically if you pit

The order you come off pit road that's your new plan. But how does that work with the packets still out there?
For the people that didn't well eventually they're gonna have to pit

There's going to be two good teams in that state possibly three September 3rd
OU opens up against GJ Kenny and the Tulsa Gold and Hurricanes
I know you follow Tulsa well at their practices
Is this a bigger game than what's being advertised for both of these teams?
I mean, I think
I don't think it's necessarily a bigger game. I think it would take a lot a lot a lot for TU to pull the upset
But I think even if they keep it close
I think that'll you know show some good signs for their season and they have they have a lot of talent
It's you, but I think oh you would just
Gonna be too much for them again. I just I don't see how to you can keep it close
But if they can I mean that gets them a lot of hope for the year really does and if they pull up an upset
I mean last year
Yeah, I may have to put him on a certain kind of watch if that happens
GJ Kenny a local guy here from from a town
Canton, Texas here not too far from here. I've got some some people there
Um his development as a quarterback has been amazing since transferring from Texas to Tulsa
Is this a guy that with the right coach in the right situation? Could GJ Kenny play on Sundays?
I think there's a chance
He's a really smart level-headed kid and
I could see that happening
He's we make the decisions. He has matured a lot. He's really developed
And I don't think that's an impossibility. I think that could happen
Um as the big 12 as we go into the season in the country
Do you really think it's a three-team race between Bama LSU and Oklahoma?
Do you think one of those three teams can win the national championship as we keep hearing the media
I don't get wrapped up into preseason polls. I really don't do that
But there's been a lot of heat around those three schools and in everything you read
You've seen Oklahoma more than me. I know you're there a lot the death of Austin Box
Rock that locker room. I can only imagine
Do you think that's a rallying and cry for stupes in his team or is Oklahoma one of these teams that comes and overrated and maybe loses to Texas or Florida state earlier in the year?
I don't like that they're you know

But I do think that you know those guys took Austin Box's death very hard and that was a real emotional experience for them
And I think that you know the season will be dedicated to him and that that will
Give them something more to play for as if they didn't have enough already

What drew you to that
profession and what kind of got you going in that direction?
Well, I do some high school that I wanted to work for a newspaper
I'd kind of done some of that in high school and then
I went to Oklahoma state and got really involved in the student paper there and kind of
They needed some sports writers and I kind of said hey, I can do that. I like sports and
Then after college I worked with the world for several years now and just moved over to sports last year
I'd ask them every day to let me
In the sports department and finally they said okay, please leave us alone
I'll give you what you want and then I've been over there since October and I I love it
It's exactly what I want to be doing covering sports which
It's really all I'm interested in right now. So it's it's been a lot of fun like yeah
I'm like the lowest person in the department trying to move up but

But that you would have the major indoor lacrosse league and I became enthralled with a team that I would think you would support being the Rochester Nighthawks

And we all I do just don't ever move
For some I like lacrosse. I think it's kind of cool. It's just me number eight
