take the belt off of him and I want you to hold that belt like it's the world
title and he did Sean held the european title like it was the main
biggest belt on the scene and really it overshadowed the belt when he had it
yep and let's talk about that Sean cuts the pre-match promo where he says he
will be the become the first person to be the grand slam champion when every
belt that Vince has ever had bulldog comes to the ring with his sister
Tracy yes cancer survival my question was given what was about to happen
was this necessary very uncomfortable for me I think it was bulldog then go
and hey Vince look at me look what you're gonna do to me in my home country in
front of my I think it was a lot of them sat her down next we were hoping we
were poking the bears were kind of poking each other Vince was poking
Bretton them and then they were kind of poking back so I think it was one of
those deals where they were both trying to get up on the other one in my
opinion bulldog had won the european title six months

Sean goes to the girls in the front row but they wouldn't let him go you remember
this he's like he's just taught him at least these women were not letting him
budge it was so funny also that the pink

ask you this something else that I noticed as the match got started
this had a time limit on it it was the last time a pay-per-view match had a
time limit it was a 60 minute time limit which they would use almost half
I'll tell you one thing all things considered I was always a big fan of
Davy Boyce Smith not going to God rest his soul never gonna not get great
wrestler great great president him and Sean always worked well together
now Sean won his first intercontinental title off the bulldog on Saturday
9th main event that went that went 32 minutes
so Sean the bulldog and Sean said this in his book
I could always work with Davy because I knew Davy knew how to handle me and I
knew how to handle him so this this right here was actually match up the year
candidate in PWI really they went Sean wins with the
figure four leg lock if you remember yep well we'll get to that here just
I remember the old school China pulling on his
uh but I'll tell you what though a lot of this match Sean was really walking
the line between selling and over sell yeah
there was a there was a point where bulldog closed line him over the top
rope and he flopped around like a fish for an hour
come on Sean really hoagin okay baby
uh let's see here I did think there was an interesting spot where bulldog
had shot in a surfboard but bulldog was actually laying down so his shoulders
on the mat and hebner counted one two
which I thought was kind of neat to see that much anymore
also of this match commentated by
J.R. King and Vince J.R. saying bulldogs vertical suplex is like being in a
car wreck can anybody do an analogy better than that man
anybody it's just amazing

Rick Roode comes to ringside he remember he was Sean's insurance policy
and then the this was less than two months before Rick Roode would do
what no one in the history of the business has ever done it will ever do

Owen ran out yeah and then a lot of stuff was thrown at the
minute because he even cuts a post him and hunter both cut a post match
promo in that ring look at him we look at him you're a
business your new champion boy you tell are you talking about a guy that knew how
to just find the jugular of a crowd and just go look at him you're up
then Sean of course says it was all for Diana Hart Smith
she hits the ring China holds her back with an Owen hits and everybody
clears and I'm pretty you know it's coming
but I'll tell you if you go back and you listen to this
somebody drops a mother f-bomb that doesn't get filled in out
but a great match great match pendulum swings back to me I will have something

stamina and the health of the fighter for this guy yeah and let's be honest do
we really think Pacquiao's on steroids and Freddie Roach is like Freddie Roach
is even he said of the four-letter network we'll fight this guy for free just
to shut it up that's right yeah and it's gonna be it's gonna be a shame it's
gonna be a shame for that sport and for the boxing fans which to me that

from the state of Minnesota plus an additional hundred million in transportation improvements yes

remember I remember seeing this team and just going wow this team's bad but they weren't as bad
as the next team and I don't think anybody will ever touch the record of the 1962 New York Metz

baseball team ever as that says the two natural Evan Astros up for sale if you got six hundred
eighty million and you know what's funny is that's the team Nolan Ryan wanted to buy first
before he bought the Rangers so the 1962 Mets they went 40 and 120 was 60 and a half
games behind the NL champion San Francisco giant and the up to date the Mets 120 losses are the most
by any MLB team since 1899 and we all we will find out who that team was Casey Stingle was quoted
as saying this team five Stingle former Yankee manager found said it quoted at the end of the year
