it is eight o'clock on the east coast it is five o'clock on the west coast
anywhere else in the world do the math if you're not live then it's whatever time it is
wherever you are it is Tuesday night it is time for an all-new episode of the clubhouse with
Robin Cody welcome it is the second of November in the year of our Lord 2010 and as the song you
are hearing will tell you selection day it is a lecture that's why I chose this that's the only
reason I went with this I am Rob as always I am joined by Cody hello season one episode 17
17 of these 17 one more and this show could be drafted do you vote I did
and as is as America says I'm going to keep my votes to myself that's right you know I'm trying
not a lot going on in our our state really not really compared to some of these other ones
brought 19 in California everything's gone Arizona's got their deal going on but kind of quiet
here yeah no no no no real hot button issues this time around no exactly in term elections are
underway we hope you got out and voted today to all of our American friends all of our international
friends thank you California Poland got the UK all over Europe growing a lot of visits from
from from California the shocking after that bad NFL game they had a London that they didn't
want to do anything American over there anymore what did they do to make us mad to get
Niners and Broncos either I don't know strange it's America as always we start with corrections
get the corrections music fired up I didn't see anything from last week did you catch anything
I listen twice and not it oh twice yeah wow yeah that's one more time than I always
let's have the show well I stopped it and then picked up where I was at finishes
another bit one I didn't hear anything last night was so loose the last week was so loose

is also a deal where you start to question really how great he is three weeks as well
yeah I thought it was less than that I thought I was sitting back home was real excited to be
back home the team that drafted him and then the bottom fell out for those of you that do not
know what we're talking about Randy Moss today as of about three hours ago officially weighed by the
Minnesota Vikings after an incredibly failed yeah to say the least bit yeah that was a he looks
unmotivated he always looks like I saw him that night against the jets I mean he did have that
late touchdown but other than that man he was very unmotivated it seemed like for to me there
at all that team is it time for him to go to Oakland been there we've been there we've done that
but it's a time for him to go back to Oakland because remember Oakland is where careers go to die
I think he ends up Kansas City oh misty misty is in the room right now she may be happy with that
I think he ends up in Kansas City just for the simple fact is I think they're one he's still a
big play threat he's still a big play guy in the league I think Kansas City would be a good fit
for him I think he a seller dweller doesn't need to pick him up they don't need the distraction
not especially since we're about to go and go out exactly I know there's been rumors of San Diego
San Francisco also St. Louis also I'm not sure if I want him with Bradford I don't either I
want to mess up my room yeah don't don't I think Kansas City because of the deal with him and of
course pretty much that is the old Patriot team until they're going to love his what his name Romeo
carnell's over there you've got the the old general manager of New England now in Kansas City so
Bill Bill Polian I believe no it can't be right yourself yeah so yeah that's right yeah yeah
but there's a lot of old New England ties over there with him I think Kansas City's where he
ends up leaning that's got a feeling because but he doesn't do Buffalo when he good Carolina how
bad is Buffalo Tennessee I think a contender picks him up just to think if we can get this guy he
may get us just enough yards or touchdowns to push us over limit and Kansas City's a team that
I hate to say it but they're they're one or two guys away now it's super about what you're over
under on that announcement well he's got it clear the bottom drillers first yeah and he's got
24 hours to do it um I would say that's about 21 hours yeah I could say this time tomorrow not
you think yeah I think it might wait till I don't know I don't know that anybody picks him up and
he plays with them on Sunday but exactly I think you may get through the weekend before that happens
exactly let's get on the boat yeah it's raining enough here the boat could just say I worked
from our snow and Noah might be here in the Dallas Fort Worth metro straight to NFL Island let's
get to NFL Island here and start off and let me just preface this by saying and I may take some
fire for this I did not watch a down of NFL football this week I was so burnt out after dealing
with Halloween things and I just kind of wanted a day or I could just whittle away at my DVR so I'm
gonna defer a lot of this to you yeah well we'll start off with a game that was one of the craziest
games to this week as Miami goes to Cincinnati again undefeated on the road can't win at home
Miami dolphins do defeat Cincinnati 22 to 14 um Browns it was they they carried the load there
there wasn't a really a star round of the Bengals uh it was Bengals especially Browns yes okay
sorry Bengals and uh Owens had touched Owen had Owens had two TDs they were the only two TDs
any any shenanigans in the end zone um no had one that uh new Miami defender
there's not about him in the end no but his two one of his touchdowns with a Miami defender caught
it bottled it hit his knee bounce right in the T.O.'s arms he takes off in the end zone over there um
Detroit won another ballgame and that game got a little weird as they yanked out of the
McNabb in a two minute drill and that made a lot of headlines nationally and put it for all you
Gator fans sexy Rexie little Rex Grossman makes another let's let's have to break on Gator fans
there I am a Gator fan and it's hard for me to watch him play in the NFL sir uh Detroit does
defeat Washington 3725 a Stadford in a game coming back from a separated shoulder 17 for 32 10 one
TD is can that kid come into his own and Detroit yeah he's got the weapons and offense and
Madonna can sue if I'm saying that right in the first name he's a beast that's a big man
him and him and Bradford right now are neck and neck in a Phil Rookie of the year
I you know what I want to bait that they're both very good they I think you have to give the
edge to Bradford just from a visibility standpoint no no now Misty I know you're in the in the house
tonight um Kansas chat room chat room excuse me Kansas City 1310 over Buffalo and over time she's
going to win this thing and over time she's going to win Buffalo falls to 0 and 7 move that team
to Canada and just get that over there on a horrible Toronto bill not really flashy there too
the quarterback Matt Matt Castle 14 of 26 152 for one TD you also had St. Louis winning again
that evens them at 4 and 4 on the year of course Bradford 25 for 32 191 two TDs there
in the in the in the uh the world cup this week we had the jets and packers with the packers
winning nine to nothing the world cup soccer much kicking okay I'm like I thought that was the other
game that was in London um Sanchez 1638 256 once again nothing really flashy yet yet yet
yet still goes all you had that game and you had a very failed fake punt that did you see the story
on this yes fourth and 18 the jets kickers on his own one he doesn't even like Rex Ryan didn't
even know he called his own number and fake the pun almost got the first yeah oh not but then
and then and then the other team still has to settle for appeal it was that was a very strange
game I did read about that um also over in London London town we had the Niners and Broncos as
the 49ers do win the international game is what their jerseys set on it 24 16 over Denver
we talked about this the other day Denver it's time to start playing T-Bo something about that
game or in Orton's not the guy I don't think we talked about this on air and I always find it funny
when the NFL plays that game in London every year and there's Patriots fans in this stand
it just makes me laugh I did look the classic irony is very funny I saw there was a lot of
Patriots jersey Minnesota very well represented as well as Seattle do they give Ray Merck London
rain do they give it a break when they walk in I always merge or if they're just kind of going
merchandise yeah you wear this team it's all free here by put on something do they have one
mark over there I don't think so good I mean but I'm sure they probably just get a bunch of random
jerseys and somebody I have euros and this is another deal here I mean it's coming up next on my
deal the Raiders 91 points in two weeks there they are defeating your dark horse 71 to 17 Seattle 33 to 3
you know Seattle is not doing they didn't do on branch and he played them two years ago on
fantasy did me no favors there the team itself is not doing any favors in dark courses you have
Jason Campbell 15 for 27 3 10 in two TDs that's a decent little day for him that's probably the best
day that yeah quarterback in that franchise especially years and the the winning streak continues
continues for Tampa that's now five in a row yes sir the bucket nears as they go to five and
two with defeating the Cardinals 38 35 and black jerseys but look good look I need to see those look
sharp and of course we had the game Sunday night with the Pittsburgh and New England who
sorry this coming yeah New Orleans showed up beat Pittsburgh 20 to 10 you had a game that we
didn't realize the fallout Sunday night was going to happen Monday morning as New England does
defeat Minnesota 28 to 18 Peterson kind of pedestrian 25 carries 92 yards and a touchdown
nothing really going on there I don't know what happened to him and San Diego won a ballgame
33 to 25 over Tennessee as we went on the air they have released Sean Maryman yes he is on
way out of discussion about him in this town yeah um it can't get any worse yeah but if you know
that's Phillips we have we have even gotten there yet and you know yeah and here we got I'm
it's a great we leading right into that Dallas is worse than I thought I think they're worse than
a lot of people thought yeah and I I still think that on a certain level this team is overrated I
just people talk about they've got the talent they've got the talent I do they well everybody wants
you now that Romo's gone the seasons over he was one in five yes Tony Romo as you're starting
quarterback was one in five so I know but I what have I always said don't trust a quarterback named
Elvis Gus or kid and kid you've got the third one you talk about snake bit every just about every
interception he let me give you a stat here three a 34 for 49 379 one TD and four picks and a lot
of them hit the receivers right in the hands he had three picks were deflections this I mean it's
like you know the bad thing about is if you're a cowboy fan you look on the sidelines are snicker
and there's laughing there's cutting up there's just different things that are going on there
that I think it's it's coach and I I've never said this before I think it's a little bit of a
little overrated I think it's an owner who puts Super Bowl Super Bowl Super Bowl so much pressure
on this team all year long and they're they've got some good player they're not scrubs I think it's a
total lack of discipline and accountability in my opinion I just think that this team needs more
talent I don't think there's a not enough talent on this team I think but the second area
Jones has never fired a coach in the regular season the the secondary is the worst secondary I've
ever seen but what have I told you for years about that secondary you and I have had this
discussion a thousand times they haven't been good until until this year the cowboy secondary was
like the Rangers pitching yeah everybody knows there's a problem but nobody wants to do anything
about is the elephant in the room every year and it's you know Ray Charles can see it he's blind
and no longer with us yeah they were they were bad that was that was probably one of the most
pathetic showings that I'd ever seen in my life and I did not imagine that Jacksonville would beat
I'll give it to you that Jacksonville was going to beat Dallas 35 to 17 and Arlington and what was
that score and half oh it was twenty twenty eight to three at halftime that thing was nasty good Lord
I mean I got that notification on my phone day bay jarard jarard seventeen twenty one two sixty four
TDs he hasn't done that and then the hyphens killed them Jones drew twenty seven carries one thirty five
and Sims Walker eight receptions one fifty three and one TD they still it sounds like a band
david jarard and the hyphens didn't that's what it was didn't he play uh that's my mama yeah
the jolt of policeman episode on the what's going down episode but yeah and I don't want to get
local but man that's a bad bad bad football team so that brings us to you know what real quick
for going that I want to know who's next if it's coaching and if it's this better get somebody
in here it's going to fix it grudens not the guy but here's my thing
jerry jones has to realize you can unless you're going to coach this team stop trying to coach
this team yes he's got it I think he's got to let go of the will a little bit on his part and
let let Wade coach and coach his coach and guess what firing him in this week is going to do
nothing for you he's never fired a coach and they're not going to gain anything but the other
thing you have to look at too is and this was a it was brought up on national radio today
with the lockout coming up you're not going to sign another coach you're because now you've
got to pay that coach so you let him finish the year if you lock out you don't even talk about
another coach until them and I don't even want to use if when the lockout happens because it's
coming last check bill coward wanted 10 million jerry jones I think he's the guy jerry jones
or I think it's you know there's two guys that I think can do it him and billet that's the list
yeah gruden the thing might is that coaches that are currently yeah gruden remember grudens
spent some time with Garrett and Tampa so if let's say they would hire Jason Garrett I don't
I mean would hire gruden I don't necessarily think that I was going to get it goes anywhere
to get it right now because we'll must yeah it's just a bad switch it's a bad situation in Dallas
it's it is it's tough and you know in San Diego at three and five they were kind of on the verge
of doing that north turner I don't think he's the guy there but rivers puts up goddy stats just
I saw something earlier dark course MVP candidate I don't know about all about that I disagree
with that because you could be winning yes so that brings us to monday night we're patent the
cults improved a three know at home in five and two by defeating at that time division leader

from Houston for a second they were letting patent he was performing open heart surgery out there
with a bunch of receivers outside of Anthony Gonzalez and Gerson I'm like Gerson Gerson Gerson
here Gerson he didn't play a whole lot Gerson means boy I mean he was doing it with a bunch
of different guys Mike hard it tell back as usual Joseph dies out patent just wins ball games 2645
and what do we always you and I have always said I hate to go back to this well but what if you
would I always said about the cults all they do is we just go out you don't hear talking you don't
hear running your yap we go out and we win games and we win Super Bowl yeah they win 13 14 ball
games a year and there's another good night like I said 26 for 45 268 2 TDs for Manning Gerson

that thing got away from them as Indy picks off a pass right before half time takes it back
about 25 yards for touchdown it was just it's it's a weird league this year and whoever shows up

have two of the weirdest football champion I mean I'm the part we've ever seen I haven't been
just on my tail blown away by anybody this year at all at all so that brings us to week nine
dinner plate for this wacky league we are halfway there brother yeah this is the halfway
point gosh almighty and it's just one of those deals we'll start in the NFC sound as Tampa
visits Atlanta division leading the league tied you know Tampa and Atlanta are tied that that
could shape up to be kind of a weird game because Tampa's on the road if they're now and the
the stinker sunday is Chicago at Buffalo too bad Chicago division and that's your star course
but division leading Chicago I mean wow that's yeah that's the bad thing there new England at Cleveland
jets at Detroit jets took on a chin they did not look like a Super Bowl football team Sunday
stand this Sanchez couldn't get out of his own way do teams need to shy away from hard knocks
yes from now on a game that could be a little entertaining Arizona at Minnesota I could get in
I think Minnesota is fixed to get in must win mode I think they're they're done I think I think
I think a children's I think that's a coach that's really completely on the hot seat the
fake Tony corner I think he's a guy that's on the hot seat New Orleans at Carolina here's to me
this is game with the day surprise surprise a major major like a night game or this is at Monday night
as the Miami dolphins visit the Baltimore Ravens aren't we on flex at this point
or we got another couple weeks couple weeks okay here's you know me get to your son they
not games a nasty one and then you also have another tight game for Houston as the hot San Diego
Chargers are at Houston good game got that you got to that's a solid game I think you should
wins that game at home but I think that's a great game to me the NFC side of the schedule is horrible
in my opinion as you know it's you know there's nothing there uh New York at Seattle
does anything for anybody oh I gotta watch my dark horse Seattle I mean uh New York
historically has struggled in Seattle quite a bit you've also got a big rivalry here at first
placed on on the line is Kansas City visits the Oakland Coliseum buddy this is AFL 19
you know what five were you and I may have to watch that game together because I'm a wins the
last time that the the division of the AFC South was on the line between Kansas City and Oakland
I mean this brings back man you get some names going to hear his Lynn Dawson and the
the mad bomber and the snake Kenny Sabler somebody get John Fesenda on the phone yes the autumn wind
is a raider Colts at Philadelphia Philly coming off the bus as they will start Michael that I think
and he destroys them and it's all those great games we get to Sunday night on NBC as the 1 in 6 Dallas
Cowboys visit the Green Bay Packers and the Frozen Tundra and then Mumbofi not and hey equally not
as impressive Monday night as Pittsburgh travels to Cincinnati that thing has turned into a train wreck
down there by week teams are Denver Tennessee St. Louis San Francisco Washington and Jacksonville
did you just say the western wind or the autumn wind is a raider because this is called the
western wind this song from NFL orchestras that's funny yeah so that is NFL Island for week 8 got you
primed up for week nine in the NFL somebody needs to step up to the plate and show me who the
favor of this deal is because I have not I can't pick you a superbowl I cannot pick you a superbowl match
up right just nobody there can I just say Indy yeah you know Indy versus New England and the
FC Tologame don't hey never know Miami Tampa Bay can I do that you know it'd be funny Jerry's
also cocky imagine if you got Tampa and Kansas City in the Superbowl I'm telling you if Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's very good but Tom Lynn seems to have that team play on a different level there's
something there's always something about the Steelers when it comes to the playoffs they've got
that they've got that New England mystique about come January so nobody can put if I had to make

you know yeah let's let's start by going over our personal top 10s let me obviously I don't know
if I've still got the the actual BCS rankings up but let me do that real quick
boy this is a team that's having problems right now we've got we'll get to them here and
move or we'll get to hit them here in a second but I will start with mine I have to the let's start
from the bottom up so going top down as we did I always go 11 I always go one more the BCS the
computers the coaches pull the AP all USA today all that that makes that happen they have a
Ohio State as the 11th best team in the country and who do you have I have Mazew see my 11 was
actually LSU okay I I kind of switched there they're 10 and 11 I got in reverse Missouri I'm not
gonna I'm not gonna sell on them roll yet in number 10 in the BCS pole their pole they had LSU
at 10 they do at my 10 I have Stanford that's where I have Ohio State yeah I had Stanford that's a
team that I was like him did but to me they're almost they're 12 to me that's a team that played
Oregon tough got beat and nobody's really talked about them since and they've kept winning ball games
BCS pull at nine has the Wisconsin Badgers I also have Wisconsin at nine my nine is the university
of Nebraska okay we I'll I'll go with you there with you know they're they've got Wisconsin in
we're gonna take a quick quick break here just give me just a second
and we're back um and it numbsy at night my number eight the beats you the BCS at number eight had
the University of Oklahoma I actually had LSU at eight that's another team that lost to a good
team and I think people or they just fell off the planet my number eight is Wisconsin I've got
badger badger at eight yeah at seven the BCS has Nebraska I that is way too high for Nebraska
when you lose to a team that just got beat Saturday night by Baylor
sorry not him Nebraska that's way too high at seven I had OU
that's exactly where I have Oklahoma I know you I think the bad win for them on Saturday I think
the bounce back game you got to they lost on the road by nine to Missouri which was defeated by
Nebraska I don't know what Nebraska's doing at six in the BCS pole they had Alabama I actually have
Boise State I've got Alabama at six you kept him there I can't to me that seems just about right
for them I think it's it's time for Bama Bama's a team that I think's just gonna get get kind of
creep kind of creep up on this thing as they move along and move down their schedule at five the
BCS has Utah that's who I have it five I have Alabama five I think Alabama's a top five team hands
down I think they could be for me after this week number four Boise State is what the BCS
Polsters had at number four I have Utah I think that's it my top four are pretty much the same
and I think the polls I don't know why I think the polls held the Air Force game getting kind of
tight I think they held that against Utah for the most part Air Force has played everybody pretty tight
this year at three the the BCS had TCU I also have TCU at three so do I at two are these two
interchangeable yes I think changeable in my opinion I think as the season as we chug along here
and get closer to to Glendale Arizona I think that I somebody has gone by Auburn I feel it I
think it's giving me I feel it defensively if Oregon Auburn plays I don't know if here's here's
a point they brought up on the worldwide leader yesterday you know two weeks ago Auburn put up 65
which you know what you gave up 42 if you give Alabama 42 points they'll be you're not catching down
yeah it was just a weird that's a and and and it's not in district Auburn at all if they
don't know you're absolutely if they play the Oregon Oregon would run them out the
and then that see that's my criteria to me those are the top two teams in the country but if they
played right now Oregon beats them and that's why I as well as the BCS have them at number one
and so do I think that's pretty unanimous across the country and it's not no disrespect to Auburn
or the SEC I just I need to see Auburn run another play besides quarterback draw who ended up
catching a touch yeah I have to say they've got to somebody's going to address him and let's get
on just can't do it real quick there's a lot of people thinking he's a front runner for the
highest men at this point in the season I don't know if that's true or not but is the pool really
that deep no I think there's some guys I think one of the best players in the country that nobody's
really talking about is TCU quarterback Andy Dalton that nobody's talking all about I know he
goes to TCU and they're never going to give it to a school that's not one of the the big ones you
got to talk about Le Michael James at Oregon running back he's a guy don't think it's getting
just a whole lot of play there's a lot of guys hey what about what about let's just wait because
let me tell you the two biggest games a lot of weight on the high's been look at last year
Colt McCoy had the husband locked up until he played Nebraska the big 12 championship game
Ingram I thought would it would be third my rent was that SEC championship
if my deal it was Colt Tebow Mark Ingram at that point in the season and as Ingram defeated Tebow
went wild on Florida and Nebraska kind of exposed Colt McCoy that night you had
Mark Ingram get with the Heisman so I don't like handing people the Heisman with four games
with five games left in the season and go here's your Heisman you win the Heisman once everything
what's the dust settles yeah but right now I hate even doing really pulls this early
but this is what it is I think I don't think your top 10 is going to change I think LSU and
Alabama they play Saturday night if that if that I think it's an afternoon game yeah if
out yeah if LSU loses they're out of the top they're they're probably as low as 15
Missouri Texas Tech a lot of things happening here but who showed up this weekend well first of all
my the first team that I have on showing up this week is the University of Iowa
yeah 37 to 6 over number five Michigan State Midnight oh Cinderella and in Michigan state
was a great story that was a good thing it was a great little story their head coach of course
had the fake punt had the heart attack after the game that was a great story and then all of
a sudden forced three turnovers and committed none that's huge yeah because again you win the turn
over were you in the game they stopped Michigan State on two fourth down attempts and they
trounced a top five team and and congratulations decide decisively Michigan State you know no
disrespect to anybody in that situation but man let me tell you you got to show up you want to
be you want to be in the same breath in your conference as as Iowa as Ohio State you got to win
some of these big ball games and they were shown the door very very early in that contest this next
one since we're not doing defense at this point once the BCS comes out but you be the ranked team
you get in this category Nebraska yeah 31 17 win over number seven Missouri man that that Roy
Hallou 454 total offense sir three seven on the ground and three TDs yeah oh it's kind of easy
Martinez would take to get a 210.7 quarterback rating when you threw the ball nine times exactly
and you know what happened to them balancing the offense in Lincoln oh no man he's it they
was that just a call and then well then you had you had Martinez getting banged up with which
they're now reporting that as an ankle injury in Missouri I'll tell you one thing about that it's
hard and that's a gauntlet no Oklahoma at Nebraska two weeks in a row and I think sometimes it's
hard to get your kids up two games in a row two very huge games with BCS implications on them to
get your guys up two weeks in a row that stuff six acts forced eight months yeah but they were two
of 11 on third down yeah got to get that under control I'm not convinced Nebraska is a top
seven or eight program I'm not convinced of that yet and like I said they'd be the ranked team
exactly to be here next up we travel about an hour and a half south of where we currently have our
studio to wake o Texas Baylor yeah you're gonna cover this I think here in a little bit uh but
let me just throw some things at you Griffin ties the career touchdown passing record with Baylor
at 38 not a lot of great quarterback wow I saw that that's that one also it's been the first time
since 1983 I believe they defeated Texas has been coined as a miracle on the brazes higher
quarterback rating in Gilbert 162.5 to 101 100 yards less total offense but still getting the job
done I was out doing a little Halloween festivities that night and when I saw that I was speechless
two for two on fourth down Texas 11 penalties 103 yards yeah they've got they've got some
discipline problems on that team there you know hey Texas football this year as far as the state
especially in Dallas you got two undisciplined ball teams with the cowboys and the long ones let me
throw this on you how much worse does that game get if Baylor does not come in five fumbles exactly
yeah I got other I wish I've got I don't want to run my bid here because you you're gonna cover that
here while that's why I didn't talk about Texas and that's because I know you've got that cover
Stanford they win one nothing over washing it it's number 13 team in the country though man they
hung with all they hung with Oregon they let Oregon get away from but they led that game for a

they've got to control the penalties they got eight flags for eighty five yards and three

in college football preview show he's real skits yeah he's skits oh and they don't have the deep

ton of yards either way though they had less than 400 yards total offensive peace here's four

don't and I think you have to take a long look in the mirror and go number one we just got beat by
Tulsa Navy now owns us Notre Dame can't beat Navy okay you have you finally want a bowl game
it wasn't the orange it wasn't the it wasn't the national title game the bowl you won was the
Aloha bowl in Hawaii that Hawaii has played in yeah forever in a day so Notre Dame you're never
going to be back I just don't think you're going to get over the hump and be back into a situation
to where you're able to get the recruits because you got people decommitting from you
and going other places such as Florida Florida State Oklahoma Miami let me let me you're
undesirable to play for let me ask you this and this is something that I that I mentioned briefly
when we talked about this on the phone and I've really been kind of thinking about this you go
back in the day I mean back even before I I journey this planet is it is part of this the
I don't want to say decline but it's left for lack of a better word the decline of the prevalence
of the Catholic Church because you think about it in the days of Regis Philbin that could be or
JFK you know that Catholicism was the dominant it almost it almost gets that dirty that dirty feel
to it now and I'm not hope I'm not disrespecting you know I'm trying to dance around that a little
bit exactly but there have been other denominations that have come more to the forefront than the
Catholic Church do you think that plays a role in the in the Notre Dame's mystique kind of going away
I'm certain it could be the the mystique with Notre Dame was they were really hot for a lot of
years I mean they've had some great players Joe Montana I mean we'll be we can be here all
not long you know Rocket-ish male I mean they're the list goes on and on Jerome for Jerome
Betis for some reason I don't know if other schools got really really good I know Notre Dame made
something horrible coaching decisions with of course Todd Willingham there to me was the one
that really I don't think he did too badly I think that Charlie why Charlie why I think it was a
bad thing they just made a lot of bad I think Chip Kelly and I said this in the college pregame show
I know Brian Kelly Chip Kelly's an organ I don't I don't know why I don't know why I keep coming
back to this thing I don't know if anybody can save Notre Dame I just don't know if anybody can
number one recruit it number two get it they have to join a conference I agree they have to
join it has to be the big 10 yeah they have to join a conference fast and I just think it's a
fan base that kind of think as thought I know the name I think they think they're like the Yankees
the Lakers the Celtics yeah they haven't won a national title since 1989 to me that's the last
time you were relevant showed some flashes in the early 90s but as far as that off my second
letter here real quick and I'll make this a fast Texas that teams quit that team and you said
that's me on the phone earlier today we talked and when Max says it when Mack Brown comes out after
his post game press conference and I goes this is this team doesn't practice with passion it we're
not we going we're going to the motions this team shows lack of effort and you're gonna and in
that why you're gonna hear me say say something that I may have never said and you may never hear
from me again Texas fans I'm sorry yeah I feel bad for the first time in my life for the longhorn
fan yeah because you know what and you'll never hear you may never hear me say this again longhorn
fan you deserve better than this yeah they they have they have shown one thing about there's
been teams oh you built last year Bama rebuilt for a while Florida's going through the same thing
right now we're going through it right totally different but you know what Florida kids are
fighting but we're playing they're trying to win ball games yeah we're not going to lay down yeah
Texas to me is laid down defensively they're a picket fence defensively and I don't know I looked
at their schedule I don't know if they win another ball game and if that happens I'm well I think
this was the last time Texas was not bull eligible I will look that up and get back to you later
in the show but I don't have that stat here let me tell you I think there needs to be a shakeup
on the staff Mac Browns going nowhere unless he chooses to and see to me I've never been impressed
with Mac Brown I'm not currently impressed but they will be I never will be they will recruit I
think he's a great recruiter he's a terrible coach I think we've got Texas fans will tell you
yeah I think we've got some people right now with met with Texas Greg Davis the office of
coordinator is always a guy that seems to be the the butt of the joke or with them the problem is
Garrett Gilbert had a whole spring in a whole summer to prepare himself for this moment after he
played fairly well in an actual championship game but we don't know what Sabin Alabama probably
in a pre-event defense and I kept telling people that another thing you don't have a playmaker
on offense one that guy plays for the Cincinnati Bengals and I'm speaking of Jordan Shipley
that guy's gone he's not there anymore like that kid he's just not there anymore Texas has they
can't run the ball now this Malcolm Brown kid this five star he's decommitted
he has that's what that's could be the worst word to hear as a fan of a college is the word
decommitted yeah he the five star running back out of a solubo C-I-B-A-L-O five star he is
decommitted from Texas he's now back flirting with Alabama because they're gonna have an opening
yeah maybe a must he's now and he only gave a very soft verbal to Texas and I don't see anybody
there and I know well we're young you've got guys in the offensive line you've got guys over
six foot close to four hundred pounds in your offensive line it's a total lack of effort it's
not size it's not age got a total lack of effort and that's just it's either national championship
or bust and I've said it before it's hard when your team is in a rebuild yeah but you have to
be able to recognize another thing real quick and we'll wrap this up get on to other things here
Texas tech Tommy Tuberville was he overrated it all burn
because Gene Chizek seems to be taking a lot of his guys and their number two team in the
country Tuberville usually was eight and four seven and three I'm not I don't say there's a whole lot
I think Tommy might have been a little overrated well I think we'll see that more in maybe next
year yeah ask me that question 365 days yeah now Texas tech is horrible they can't stop air right
now they've got Missouri number one number two offense in the big 12 then they go to Norman for
the number one offense in the big 12 and they can't stop anybody right now they'll get they might
give up 50 points this week and turn around sat next Saturday and give up 50 points again
they're that bad wow and this surprised me because all I heard was Texas tech was really excited
about their defense that's all I've been here it's possible it's but I mean I they're horrible

was remember Texas Ranger fans at the playoffs were good enough and you know what I'm hearing a
lot of great feedbacks are great your fans that are saying you know what we still love this team
we're we're happy with what we have and so you know what way to stay classy Ranger fans most of
you there's a few of you out there that I have issue with but for the most part congratulations

images from the set of Captain America in the first Avenger now Cody you've seen the cover
I have it's on news stands everywhere it does on news stands now I'm going to actually give you
this issue I want you to flip through the next couple of pages and look at the pictures and tell
me what you think the kid who played the human torch Chris Evans is playing Captain America Hugo
weaving from the matrix is playing the red skull which we don't see him in this movie you actually
see him but not as the red skull you'll see a picture of him I don't know if he transforms in
this movie or not tell me what you think because there are pictures in there that I have
not seen before that's pretty much it to me it looks like it's going to be too big an origin
story and I think that kills you here's the thing in this article I'm going to go ahead and tell
you in this article when when when they came to him to Evans they wanted him for a nine
picture deal Evans for Captain America recaptured three Avengers and three more of Marvel's choosing
okay he got them down to six is the rumor okay I don't know if we can do three cat movies
um three Avengers movies might be pushing it yeah I'm I'm really really really curious to see
what happens with this deal as it gets closer I've always had my concerns about the big gathering
feeling this this cap is the one I'm most concerned about mine's always been Thor
Thor because of the supernatural part of it the Asgard part of it I'm almost comfortable
but this one this is the one that concerns me I also think unless the Avengers makes about
nine billion dollars worldwide you're going to have a problem doing three of it I'll go see it
the theater because how long do it take us to do three X-Men segments I'll go see it the theater
I'll be right there with you I'll probably do it first I'll probably do it opening opening we can't
so you you we gonna we gonna we gonna book that yeah I can do that okay um I'm in I like these
kind of movies it's gonna be interesting I'm just kind of wondering who they tease at the end
of this film it'll be the adventure yeah you've got because this opens three to two months after
Thor does next year so so we're we're moving this thing along because Avengers is in 12 yeah
by he they say in this article that by the time Captain America hits theaters Avengers will be in
production good deal so if you I mean it's an interesting article if you want to read it later I'm

late and this was probably the last thing I put on the run sheet today now that saw is allegedly
officially done oh by the way the saw team at one point was attached to this new 127 hours movie
about the truth where the guy was caught in the rock with uh James Franco huh but instead now that
they're not doing that the saw team putting the finishing touches on leather face 3D we are going
back to the Texas chainsaw massacre way one of those I don't know why man we've always would not
I think that's the bit we're starting to we're starting to do that where we're getting into
these horror properties that's the big thing right now I mean paranormal activity too did a
butt ton of money last weekend everyone I've talked to that saw it quite enjoyed it I never saw
the first one I'm not a horror film guy but a lot of people enjoy that the only I'll tell you
the only person who didn't enjoy it was one Joe Rogan and voiced his opinions on Twitter that
if I did they might take us off the air he pulled no punches well he was tweeting while he was
watching this thing huh he hated it he's the person I've seen that did not like it uh movie
releases this week we start with due date unless you've been living in a cave you know this is a
this is what people are calling the planes trains and automobiles for a new generation
Zach Galafanakis and Robert Downey Jr that guy is everywhere he's making a ton of money now
like him as a comedic actor not a fan of him as a comedian I've seen his standup it does nothing
for me huh there's a documentary out there called the comedians of comedy him and Pat Noswald
and a couple other people together don't get it just don't very very weird very like he's like
he's trying to be Andy Kaufman but can't pull it off mega-mind for the kids I know if you've
seen the trailers for this CGI film in a head shake yes yes Brendan's joined us this evening
in the sea it's good to have him here with us um voices of Brad Pitt Tina Fey and Will Ferrell
also David Cross is in this I do that I see that it looks funny basically Will Ferrell's character
turns into a villain just because of something that happens when he and Brad Pitt's characters were
born and launched from their respective worlds and there's some role reversal that happens it looks
funny it looks enjoyable 127 hours we just mentioned that with James Franco directed by Danny Boyle
who you might remember as the director of one slumdog millionaire okay yeah I do remember
never saw that this is the true story and there's an article in that entertainment weekly about
the Aaron Aaron something rather guy who was a mountain climber the 127 hours is a number of
times he was the amount of time he was trapped with a boulder on his arm and ended up having to go
to a bit of an extreme measure to get out of it okay getting rave reviews right now people are
saying they were worried about Danny Boyle's next project after slumdog people are now going
not concerned good deal so this is getting a lot of great reviews this next one for colored girls
this is the brand new film from and I just Tyler Perry I know you're gonna say that but let me
take some this was a very critically acclaimed play and book in the 70s everybody and their brother
is in this thing it is a lot of people are saying this is Tyler Perry's biggest challenge material-wise
because he didn't write it uh b it's a very very very well respected book and play people are
wondering if he can pull this off Janet Jackson is your main character would be Goldberg's in this
thing it's it's huh this is gonna be a very very big test for him I hope it does well I've heard
great that I've never read the book but I've heard very very good things about it also fair game
this thing's kind of weird this is a documentary I don't know if it's a documentary I'm sorry this has
Naomi Watts this is the true story about the CIA agent who was forced to give up a bunch of
sort of source gave her up uh-huh remember this a couple of years ago I think I do yeah this this
uh not a lot of buzz on it I have not read any reviews but those are your movie releases for this
week DVD and Blu-ray this week I'm upset that I didn't see this movie in the theater I would have
loved to this will be at least a Blu-ray rental if I don't get the entire trilogy on Blu-ray toy
story three releases today I don't know anybody that did not like this movie it's gotten over a 90
percent rating on rotten tomatoes I want to say it's close to 99 percent wow p everybody I've
talked to you said if you if you're if this movie does not break you down on an emotional level you
have no soul uh hopefully this is the last one I'm told it wraps it up very nicely uh I need to
you see it the Pacific I watched the first three or four episodes of this and it kind of got
away from me this is Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg yeah this is to the grand of brothers did you ever
watch band of brothers I saw it in syndication yeah wonderful yeah loved it the Pacific kind of a
different deal I was hoping it was a continuation but it's not um I need to finish watching the
episodes I might get that in the instant cue also on Blu-ray this week the bridge on the river
quiet have you ever seen this film and if I did it's been a long time ago do yourself a solid
Alex Guinness at his absolute best of wonderful wonderful film available on Blu-ray I'd like to
see how the transfer looks this next one brother 20 25 years the Gune 25th anniversary edition of
the Gune releases this week I haven't watched this movie probably 20 years it was on the other
not so they're talking about remaking it don't leave the DB's alone leave it alone I'm in on this
next one I bet that's why I put this one I this is originally going to be the follow up but I
had to put bump this one up because I knew you'd enjoy it Clint Eastwood 35 years 35 films this is a
box set of all of his 35 best films and with a bridge comes to the book the details each film
once you go through also new interviews and one of the greatest quotes that he's ever done is
I saw the commercial for this thing he said I didn't make pictures I thought people would like
I made pictures I thought I would like huh I'm like you know what that's Clint Eastwood talking to you
I'm sorry not surely I know you can't have all westerns but man you got to think outlaw Josie
Wells in there the now I'm only one dirty hairy that's the first one I'm okay with any dirty
I really am I like the character once we got to Deadpool we were I want one of them I want to say
was sudden impact I watched a couple of months ago and I was like this is so 70s it's ridiculous
yeah thank you also got the I was there other not watch the the pale rider that do would do a
western on you even even up to unforgiving yeah you were like this dude it's a man he was and one

she's got the momentum she's got the momentum right now sir music releases this week again I'm

we're bleeping the S word uh I watched the scream awards last week that word was all over that

from 96 I love classics on that's weird although Montoya which became just incredible now he's

was a mess uh imagine this thing was an anytime anytime great get more than a belt

before and I'll say it again and I honestly believe this I really think there's an RVD heath

tag team partners mistakenly cost him the match knowing what he's quote on quote into

know what they're going to do with him he's a guy that you know what I if I was fortune I did not
have them all turn on hearty because apparently I read today that Jeff wasn't really originally in

we talked a more a little bit about the Morgan possible face turn he gets ganged up on by everybody
at the end of impact I'm not sure I really want him on a face turn exactly but if you do I think
you have to bring Hernandez back to work with him again yeah good work because those two I think
work well together um although I did like Morgan refer to himself as us when he held both tag belts
but bring back Hernandez let them patch this thing up and I think they could be a good could be the
two of them against AJ and whomever you know I still think Kaz is a spare but that's just me
but I'll say something TNA is getting a little salty with the language sorry they are in that

pack tell them so number nine and I had one of these as a kid okay I had a wood burning kid
yeah I remember that your fan I haven't used one of those and pretty much it was it was a
soldering iron what it was yeah and the and the the cord was like a foot and a half long and
a jet hard jet jet party Jeff Foxworthy does a whole bit about this yeah my grandmother gave me one
for Christmas and I burned holes through so many pieces of of balsa wood yeah I lost count yeah
because you could like you take the wood bring in trace like this car that flames coming out
then you could take paint and you could paint and they're all terrible and to me it never got hot
enough to really do just a heck of a whole lot really creative hey it worked this next one I
remember this was the hottest Christmas gift in the dumbest about 1998 I was mind if I might have
been riding a high school I'd say 2000 nine number number eight is the Furby are my good friend Chad
owns one well he got one for his daughter for Christmas my goddaughter this is the most annoying thing
on the planet I don't know I guess you know I went around a lot of children at that point in time so
that was kind of a that was the cabbage patch kid of the 80s yeah the tickle me all know that yeah
that was a big hot hot deal there very and by by a by two months later you never nobody cared nobody
cared no but they can communicate with each other yeah I can talk to you too yeah I don't need a
little like he was like gizmo met a bird and they had a kid and they made a Yoda version too Chad
owns that and I was I always torment him when I go to his house because I'll walk right up to go hello
Yoda try to wake him up he's like don't wake Yoda up because Yoda will just talk all right it's kind of
cool number seven we take you back to late middle school early high school for me this is funny remember
this the NES power glove to me I don't understand how holding your hand out in front of you and pushing
buttons to me that would that would hurt you playing games unless your James Bond yeah this was a bad
bad game strange number does this number six does this mean anything to you
I'm barely it was a television show and I had to actually call Chad because I couldn't remember
the name of it we finally between the two of us figured it out it was a show that was called
captain power and the soldiers of the future when this thing was revealed this was going to revolutionize
television as you knew it what this was this was a sci-fi show it lasted like 18 episodes you could
go and buy these toys and they have little I guess lasers in them or what and you mounted this thing
on the side of your television and when the show was on you could shoot at lit up targets on
the screen and the thing you attached to your TV would keep score here's the thing the things
on TV could fire back at you and if you took too many hits your little guy in your ship would
pop out of it huh very strange but very failed because when 18 episodes of nobody cared
geez that technology now probably would do better yeah number five and John Cena still wears
into this day the Reebok pump strange don't I still don't know how this ever anybody ever thought
this was feasibly possible you put these shoes on there's probably late 80s and there was a
little basket ball on the tongue and you and you would pump up the shoe was it supposed to give
you more vertical was it just supposed to make your the circulation and your feet get cut off I
don't know where we were going I was very perplexed by this this is very perplexing for me
number four and I know a guy rich Rui if you ever listen to this show this belongs to you guy
went to high school with who's on my Facebook page the you go yeah you go you buy you push it
home exactly it was the size of my desk you could you but you could throw down you could throw down
several vehicles into that deal the grandma I think you could buy one for like $10 and a bucket
of chicken yeah there there are a lot of those type of vehicles floating around number three which
you have referenced on this show more than once so I had to put it on the list cop rock
Stephen Bosco this is the guy that did Hill Street Blues yeah cop rock thought let's take a cop
show and turn it into a musical such a strange strange you know what I'm gonna look this up right
now for you and I need to know how many episodes of that show there were I'm gonna look that up
for you right now yeah I wonder because there was more than one it was 1990 is when it came out see
and also known in France as cop rock to me that is a real to me that's a very strange thing to
try to do 11 episodes 11 episodes that's a very strange thing to try to do in 1990 we were
ready right crossroads in this country in 1990 communism was falling CCH pounder who later went on
to be on the shield was in this show that's really the only Vondy Curtis Hall I recognize her name
but that's the only other only other name I recognize cop rock that was never gonna work Vondy
Curtis Hall is a he I apologize I was thinking of somebody else Vondy Curtis Hall I do know who he
is but that is a he not a she I I sit corrected he was in Romeo and Juliet and die hard to
number two on the list never understood it still don't understand it we've talked about this
all fair you said it's still Pepsi but you know what the taste was the same yeah to me it wasn't a
flavor issue I think it was a visual of a visual issue with crystal Pepsi now refreshy as a
clear beverage great good with that the crystal it was just you know Saturday night live to their
crystal gravy yeah sketch about it very strange and number one worst failed marketing product ever
distant how long did this last almost a year because I was a young lad you were very young
I was in middle school new coke it happened a lot of people are the theory is out there that
diet coke is from the new coke formula which is why it tastes so radically different from regular
like coke zero coke zero coke zero actually tastes like me yeah it does to me too but diet Pepsi
tastes a little bit like Pepsi diet coke tastes nothing like coke diet coke is my mother's
beverage of choice she loves it to death I'm not a huge fan but new coke I remember the day
it debuted I went to McDonald's they had it I took a sip and went no no and within two or
three months coke classic was brought back and then within a year if they still called it coke
classic but that was all that was left I don't understand why Coca-Cola felt the need to change
the formula yeah that was weird because pretty much anywhere you go it's you see more coke
than you see Pepsi anyway oh yeah it's worldwide Pepsi Pepsi was really started to come on strong
at that point but I don't know why they ever felt threatened it made no sense to me crystal
pesto to it sticks out so bad like to know if anybody's got an old god I need to say it can't
be crystal anymore there's no way it's crystal but that's gonna do it for the list this week
