It is 08:00 on the East Coast. It is 05:00 on the West Coast. It is the June 25 in the year of our Lord 2026. Season 16, episode 5,771 times. You have been welcomed to the Clubhouse Podcast, your one stop shop for all things sports, entertainment, pop culture, and pro wrestling. Next week, we're gonna be on Wednesday, but we're gonna talk about that a little bit later. Welcome. My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the Clubhouse podcast. And, if things look a little different this week, it's because they are. Don is on assignment. We'll talk about that here in just a minute. But to my right is my cohost and a man that made sure he was ready for tonight. He is Alex. How are you, sir? You know, I was ready for everything, but except for feel feeling like I belonged on Sesame Street. Yeah. We are. We let's be clear. This is my table. Yeah. I like this table. I do too. I just have to buy some director chairs. Like we had at The US. That is that is true. I think that's going to be the key to this whole thing. So I'm going go shop for those tomorrow. Okay. But we are live at the media, the host city media center for Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Downtown Dallas. Are we allowed to call it that? Well, that's what it's the name on the building. They didn't cover this one. I'm making sure we have had a pattern of discussion regarding the naming of venues. Right. But we've been here. This is basically our third day that Stolen Water Media has had a presence here because Tuesday, we were here for the press conference talking about the updates on the transportation, which seems to be going very, very well on all fronts. I learned some great stuff. I actually got to ask a question. Felt very important. Then yesterday, we had the OG, it was myself, Ryans, and Grego in the morning. We had Soccer Steve on for a great conversation. Awesome. And then yesterday afternoon, we had YDC here. And yeah, you don't see me put my foot in my mouth. That's your episode. But not intentionally. No. And our guest was very gracious. Absolutely. And we're gonna try to have him on our show sometime soon. Awesome. My third interaction with people from WFAA. Yeah. So, and we love Channel eight. Absolutely. Talked a little bit about that history too, which kind of was a good episode. If you haven't watched yesterday's YDC do so At sunset lounge DFW on YouTube. At sunset lounge DFW at YouTube. And my fourth show this week. Yeah. Because we were out with Ziggy on on Monday. Yo. I'm just trying to I can't get my day straight in. Well, you've been doing so much this week. I don't know that you know when day has ended or began except for passing out. I'm at the point when I I have to constantly remind myself today is Thursday. Yeah. Today is Thursday. And I have to keep up with my my iCloud calendar because that's that's my main calendar that I use. But let's just dive right in and get into some sports. Oh, yeah. If you're a fan of the New York Islanders, congratulations. Dan Hausen has officially uncursed you. I would not expect that to be in this section. I if they win the cup. What what what happens if they win the cup? What happens if Dan Hausen is two for two? I I now I have a goal. Now I wanna see this. Like, I feel like we need to be on New York Islanders watch when the season starts in October. No. No. You know what's gonna happen is he'll get an oversized key to the city, and he'll just try to move into the Empire State Building thinking he now owns it. Dan Dan Hausen, because now he wants a mural at MSG. You know, he deserves it. Hey, he should get that one day contract with the Knicks. That's the one thing I really want. That, yes. I want that in the worst possible way. Jaylen Brunson make it happen. And did you see Cardona's post this morning? Enlighten me. He said he was still feeling the effects from Raw Monday night. Oh, yes. And he showed his suitcase, and it was all of his Zack Ryder gear in the suitcase. Giannis gets traded to the Heat. Unsurprising. As a Heat fan, I do not know how I feel about this. Here's my thing. Can can we just put an asterisk on this before anybody goes too far on a tangent and say, yes, he asked and requested a trade. Yes, he Miami is a preferred destination. But at least we didn't have to go through some whole self serving TV show about taking their talents Let me be clear on that because we talked about this before. The reason LeBron did that was because it was a charity event that he was a part that was he insisted upon any appearance fee. The money went to the boys and girls clubs. I didn't say I agreed with it, but I understood that that he did that. But the thing is Miami doesn't have a first round pick now until 2033. At this point, who cares? I mean, you saw how many I I don't know if you kept track of this. During the NBA draft, it looked like all but like seven picks were traded. It was insane. It's it's it's it's annoying to me on that level, but the other thing is I feel like the conversation was like, Giannis, you can't be Giannis. Yeah. Like, you can't show up three hours late. I'm sorry. Pat Pat Riley is gonna have about much of that. Pat Riley doesn't have to because Spolster is gonna be in him. Well, yeah. And I'll I'm a big Eric Spolster fan. Yeah. Like, you wanna talk about the the prototype of hard work getting you where you are. He was a video replay guy. But you also wanna talk about so far ahead of the curve on decisions that he literally didn't sign his extension until his divorce was finalized. That man thinks of problems before you realize there's questions. Makes you a good coach. It does. But that's my point, is he's gonna know the answer of how to deal with Giannis. This next, I love this next story. I love it so much. I always get worried when he does this. You know that thing where you quit a job because you believe that your next job's already set in stone and you're going to be great and they're going to hold a special place for you for that job. And then that job goes, Wait, you think that was gonna happen? No, I can never I can say I've honestly never had that happen. Submitted for your approval, the NFL. Oh, no. Wait, you thought we were gonna have a supplemental draft? But at that at that same time, this isn't that big of a deal. I think it's hilarious. Oh, It's funny, but at the same time, it's smart of the NFL to go like, look, there was an issue. We don't know the extent of the issue, but we know we're not going to do this because we can't guarantee any value out of it. So, the best thing they can do is choose not to have a team invest PIX, but allow them to negotiate whatever deal they want to include the verbiage involving his betting. Right. But I thought he couldn't even even think about that now till next year's draft. The gist on that one is it's undecided. There there has been some discussion and some rumbling. There has been some rumor that they are going to come to an agreement that he is just going to be an undrafted free agent. That's that's one of the expected routes because then the NFL can be completely hands off and say, if a team wants to take a shot, it's totally on them and it is not subject to the rookie deals as it is in the normal circumstance. So they can include that's Well, I think at best he could be at number three somewhere. You know, the kid has talent. He absolutely is a talented player. There's a reason that Texas Tech wanted him to play even with these situations. He could be an absolute okay. The best parallel I have to this is Ryan Kelly. Okay. If you remember Jim Kelly's nephew, I believe it Something like that, yeah. Moved around a couple of place or Chad Kelly, excuse me. It was Chad Kelly. Okay. Ole Miss, a few different places, was seen as a bit of a project because of off the field things, similar to Soresby. If he had gone to a better system and been better developed, because the talent was definitely there, as well as the genetics. With Soresby, the talent is unquestioned. There's a reason that there were people talking about him as a Heisman option at one point. So, you need to get him in a system the way that it's a tough fit, but it's also why the undrafted free agent works. But he still has to be a number three something. No, Absolutely. What I was going to say is he needs in the lightning in the bottle, the model for this will always be Tom Brady. Now granted Brady was drafted, it was with next to no capital. So you need him to go somewhere that's going to take the time to invest on his development while also making sure he keeps his head clear. Now you may see me look at like I'm having the 10,000 yard stare. We have a screen right, a huge screen right behind us showing both matches right now. Mhmm. We're in the fiftieth minute of both matches. We've got Tunisia down two nil to The Netherlands and and Japan and Sweden that are in our Fairberg, which is where Don is tonight. Mhmm. They are still nil nil, and we'll talk about that here in just a moment. But there's one more thing I wanna talk to you before we get there. We have said on this show many, many, many, many times that we believe in Joe Hendrie. No, that's not the right one. I'm sorry. That that's later. That's later in this. My my whole my whole laptop just got crazy on me. We agree with the way Europeans handle football. And I went on my rant about soccer last week. We can still call it that because the English invented it. For the record, I don't know where you're going with this. I know you don't. The PGA has said in 2028 Oh, boy. They're gonna go to a promotion relegation system. I mean, technically, they already have that. Do they though? Yes. They absolutely do. Because the aspect is, as you look at it, there's a reason that QSchool exists because you have to qualify for the tour. Now, if you come through and are, say, a college player or have qualified in a prior match and earned x number of dollars, you then qualify for the tour. So, I mean You have promotion, but what about the relegation side of it? If you are if you have not qualified or done actions to qualify, you can lose status on tour. So it's not as abrupt. What this may be is adopting a more shortened schedule. Well, I believe there will be three levels to this from what I've heard. Okay. You have a Champions and a Challengers, and I think there's a third one, and that might be Q School, I don't know. But their So they might rebrand like Q School as the Champions League and then the premiership of golf. I am for promotion relegation. Am absolutely there too. I mean, I think this is and it it it creates better drama. It creates something to strive for either way. I am all I mean, we had a whole structure set up for AEW at one point. Yeah. We did. Even though those are story driven things that you could make those stories work in a promotion relegation style that would be more entertaining. Yeah. It's an easily understand thing. If you suck, you go down. If you're good, you go up. Now let's talk a little World Cup. Alright. A lot has gone on in the last seven Oh, yeah. We're so close to getting to the knockout rounds where everything's crazy. Messi, Mbappe, Ronaldo. That's six goals. And that's just yesterday, basically. Oh, my Lord, have mercy. But, oh, you know what, I gotta reiterate, was Ziggy, I did not wanna follow him on that. Ronaldo, despite scoring, didn't look like peak Ronaldo. There was some was some rough. But I loved I loved the interview he gave after the match. I mean, the guy gets it. Well, he gets branding and presentation more than anything. But he also understands, like, he's like, I know all these people are saying all these things. It's not about me. This is about the team. I want to win the cup. Like, whether you mean it or not, you He said the he's what we like to call the bull Durham school. You gotta learn your cliches. Well, but I agree with that 100%. No, no. I'm not saying it's wrong in that regard. I'm just saying there's an easy reference to this that all athletes should go through. If you're gonna cut the promo, you cut the right promo. Exactly. You know, we know that. We know that for fact. You're incendiary when you need to be incendiary and not when you shouldn't be. And the World Cup is never incendiary. And we are about an hour and forty seven now minutes away from Merca. You're getting ready to play Straja. I this whole tournament, I have I have watched almost every match. I'm still I wanna say that match is at forty seven minutes. Is it not? I thought no. Because the well, actually, I thought it was at nine. It's at nine. Thought it was nine. Bruce got my back. The way Is that nine Eastern? No, it's at Wow. Nine Oh, man. Because they are playing in Inglewood. So that's 07:00 for them. That is fair. I genuinely was mistaken. I thought it was nine eastern. And that's another thing. Just when we're when we do remotes like this, when it looks nice, it's because it's not my equipment. Also true. Brie is here helping us out tonight. Yep. And if wasn't obvious why I'm turning off camera and talking. Well, if you notice why Brie's on her best behavior is because her boss is my goddaughter. So, you know, but we love Brie. And we I I've said this a thousand times. I'll say it a thousand more. The MVPs of this network are Brie, Ashley, Yvonne. Yep. That's it. That's the list. Because Honorable mention to just about everybody else behind the camera. Fair enough. Well, yeah. Anybody that's that does the logistics Because of this when I don't have to produce. Yeah. Or engineer, it frees me up to be able to Tunisia's on the board. Oh, Tunisia on the board. Oh, wait, we have a, are we getting a review? We're getting a VAR review. Yeah, well, I think just like the NFL every scoring play. I don't know that it's every play. I like when they they do the the box thing. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. But this has been so much fun to watch. These are the best players on the planet. And this is the only time we can honestly say that. Yeah. This is this is the only time we can honestly say that everybody on the field is the best possible. Gold stands. Yep. So now they've hit the over under. Yeah. Because we're gonna get to that too. America's already won the group. Mhmm. And we talked about this on Monday that one of the talking heads at the Espin and I agree. Sit Pulisic tonight. With a yellow card, sit. Yeah. Because this right now, and I'm gonna say this, this is the most important World Cup to the US men's national team that has happened at least in my lifetime, if not more. You know, if we can build on that, there was a thought that occurred to me after Monday's show. Shout out Ziggy made a great point about the idea of rust. And if you believe in that, we had a brief discussion on it, but I had the other thought. And I think that there's more of a demand or support for sitting all those players. Like everybody. I'm talking about like everybody. Because their first match, they came out and destroyed the other team. Yeah. So that kinda tells me that going from a zero point, this team can hit a sprint, which has been in the past a problem for the USMNT. What's the first time they've scored four goals in a game since 1930? But and even that has a big asterisk on it. But my point being is is the ability to start hot with this somewhat younger team and some really talented young, players, maybe they don't need to worry about that, Russell. And we say it all the time. Somebody's listening to this show. Yep. Because I said last week on this very show that one thing that that FIFA needs to get is the overhead. Oh, we have another another goal. Japan on the board in the fifty sixth minutes. You know what? I was gonna think that the karma for Don would be at the one match that in Arlington, they had zero score. No. But, you know, people talk about that. I no problem with the nil nil. Because what I've learned to be able to do, and I talked about this yesterday, I think it was on YEC. Mhmm. I don't I I take my focus away from the top left corner of the screen. The scoring. I I I Score bug. I immerse myself in what's going on in the match. The athleticism and the competition. The tag team is scratching it. Unfold, but I said I and we're watching it right now, the Madden overhead cam, so you can watch the play unfold. I said this last week, and it's happened. And they still haven't fixed it. And I've only seen this once so far. They used to have a lower third that would show like speed and velocity and stuff. But the one time I did it was in kilometers per hour. I ain't doing math. It's Mirka. Mirka's coverage. Okay. This is funny that you mentioned that. Mhmm. Do you know why there is a particular job at this World Cup that has never existed before? Because of those exact numbers. Go for it. There is a person at every match dedicated to make sure that the soccer balls are charged because they are interwoven with so much data capturing. Oh, really? They have to be charged. I told you We have USB soccer balls. That's awesome. No. My favorite part of this was I told Sean about it and her response was, don't they just inflate them? But I can understand that interpretation. She thought I've been filling up the balls with charging. Hi, honey. I know. Well, and I, you know, Ashley taught me something yesterday. We were talking the things that the players are wearing that look like male sports bras. Yeah. Is Or lockerbetter? Yep. My first thought it was like they wear those because they're like Andy Bernard on The Office in the Fun Run episode. But what Ashley told me is those are heart monitors. Those are giving giving the sidelines data. Yep. Not just their heart rate but you know energy levels and things like that. And I was like okay I get that but I still think that you know the Auntie Bernard thing. Well but but the other part about it and the reason I know about this is from the Premier League, there was a couple of players that for whatever reason started getting arrhythmia and it allowed them to be on there like, okay, we need to pull this guy off before we do have a situation. So, let me get, let me feed your your gambling. Oh, here we go. Because I do have updates for you. We have officially played 54 matches now. Okay. These are fifty five and fifty six. Okay. Your favorite if you took the favorite in every match Mhmm. Leading up to these two, you're twenty five and fifty three. It's holding into that if you bet on them to win. Uh-huh. Because I again, I'm not counting draws. Well, but what I'm saying is is that that's a flawed number. We need to know the draws because that is an equal part when it comes to I understand that, but I'm saying win lose. Yeah. Because from a gambling standpoint, a draw is different. Well, with so one of the big changes you have here is when it comes to football, there is no tie. When it comes to baseball, there is no tie as we're used to it. The difference when it comes to soccer, football, however you want to describe it, a draw oftentimes is actually the favorite over either favorite or underdog. So it is an entire bet that isn't just a throwaway. I'm taking it from a traditional standpoint. Okay. So from a traditional standpoint, you're 25 of 53. Okay. The over Mhmm. Is now at 27 of 53. So it's just one over. Yeah. Oh, it's two. One over the split. Right. So from last week Mhmm. When they were even, the over has hit twice more Yeah. Than last week. So and right now, tonight, Japan's at a plus one fifteen, and they're in the lead. Netherlands is at a minus three ten. No. That's because they're expected to push. Right. Yeah. So both over unders are at two and a half. We've already reached that in both games. No. Japan hasn't. Yeah. That that that's that's below by one and a half. I got a little bit of the the lights are No. I get But, you know, it's and I this part of it fascinates me even though I'm not a gambler. Yeah. This part of it fascinates me especially with a tournament like this. Mhmm. Because I it's kind of like hockey to me. Yeah. Like, it's gotta be difficult to to gamble on. Well, but interestingly enough, I would the reason I keep going back to it is I would be curious to see how many draws have hit compared to one side or the other winning because where I'm going to be real interested about favorite versus underdog is when we get to the knockout round where draws no longer become a thing. Right. Because And then that'll be the real number that'll tell you. You have to have a winner because we and that's why it's called the knockout stage. Yeah. I just want to make sure of something real quick because we're about to get into our stuff. Okay. So I do have Don's pick. Brie, you're gonna be involved in this next bit. Netherlands. Be off of an own goal. Oh, that to me is the own goal makes me sad. Even though we've benefited from it, you know, you you gotta be that guy. Yeah. For at least a couple of days. Well, we've heard some serious stories in that regard. So So, Brie, you gotta be prepared for this next bit. Oh, boy. You're gonna be involved because it's time to talk Major League Baseball in standings. I do have Don's number. Is it the same one? No, it's not. Okay. In the American League East, by the way, remember last the couple of weeks ago, we talked about the Nat Noles and that huge choke that was the first time in almost 3,000 games. Yeah. They did it again two nights ago. Yeah. It's not surprising. Six runs in the in the ninth off of eight hits. Kornheiser was losing his mind. You're saying that like he has much of a mind left. I I I love PT. I don't care I do too. But now we have tie tie tie tie match. Sweet and The nice tie board in the sixty second minute. This is I love this. This is so and Don's there? So, you know, Don said Don had said his words are, the vibe is incredible. He puts the pics on his Facebook. Like, he's just he Did he actually use the word vibe? Or the vibe I even added a word because it does say the vibe incredible here. Yeah. So, but it also could be because the coverage in there. That's very true. How is it that you have that sponsor and you can't get the Wi Fi right? What sponsor? I said that sponsor. If you know, you know. Well, is no sponsor. If you know, you know. It's Dallas Stadium. Oh. But just nowhere. A L East. Boston still in the cellar. They're 15 and a half games back right now. Oh, we're about to hit selling season. Four games back of the Orioles. Orioles now two back of Toronto. Toronto now seven back of Tampa Bay, but Tampa Bay is still two and a half back on the Yankees. In the AL Central, the Royals, boy, they're sure glad they've they're a host city because there's nothing really going on there because they're but they're still eight and a half back in the division. By the way, they're run differentials at a minus 49. Yeah. They're a game back of Detroit. Tigers are three back on the twins. Minnesota's four and a half games back on the tide. Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians. The Chicago White Sox 18 that was North America's favorite game show two seasons ago for the entirety almost for the entire year. It's amazing. And then in the AL West, we've got La in the cellar. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. I keep keep I know I get the kind of wrong. California, America, North America, Earth, Milky Way, Universe, Multiverse. There are seven back. This is another really close division. They're five back at Texas. Think about that. Your last place team is seven back. The two teams above them are only five games ahead of them. Rangers and Houston Houston Houston are tied at two games back. They're both a half a game back on the homeless vagabonds. Homeless vagabonds are now It's sounding more aggressive every time you do it. Homeless vagabonds are now a game and a half back on Seattle. It's like the first time you did it, you were like, oh, they're kind of like vagabonds. Now you're like, those homeless vagabonds Now who only kick around Sacramento. National League West Colorado put a pin in it. San Francisco is now 18.5 back. They are they're 8.5 back on the Diamondbacks. That gallon of nachos man it's fueling the team. Can't wait for the brand it for the pitcher. Diamondbacks are now Did you see the thing about the Yankees? Which thing about the Yankees? The lollipop thing? The with Jazz Chisholm? The Is he a second baseman? Yes. So Mike Mike tell Aaron Boone. Okay. Tells him, stop taking lollipops out on the field. Bans the lollipops. Mhmm. Next at bat, launches one into the stratosphere. Judge has now called Boone has now called him the lollipop kid. Yeah. And he can have lollipops anytime he wants. Well, the question I had because I saw a bunch of old heads who I do not care for their opinions going off on it. And I genuinely just had this completely logistic question. Is there a rule against it? I get They just play by their own rules. No, no, I'm talking about genuinely, is there that I'm aware. Don't think there Dustin Baker had the toothpick. But what I'm saying is, is you have chewing gum, you have, well, tobacco that is curbed, but you had the toothpick, so combine chewing gum with the toothpick and you're at a lollipop, essentially. I, it's just, I love that story this week. Really, really, really, really did. Well, Jazz is from Nassau, is from The Bahamas. And here's my thing. Huge marketing opportunity. Oh god. That's all I'm saying. Well, you want to add a giveaway day, Dump dumps can be bought in bulk. Big fan. Arizona now a game and a half back on San Diego. San Diego's down nine back on the Dodgers. Mhmm. Dodgers are running away with this thing again. In the NL Central, the Cincinnati Reds whose logo is white on my screen for some reason, they're 12 games back. They are three back of Don's Pirates. The Pirates now two and a half back on the Cubs. Cubs and St. Louis are tied. They are both seven back on Milliwok. Milliwok is on a four game heater. And in the only division that matters, the NL East, your Mets are still struggling, brother. You know, five And we're selling. Five games I don't know if you saw this. We just sold David Peterson for a bag of peanuts. Three and seven in your last 10. No. We actually got a good prospect. You are six and a half back of the Natinals. Well, we're about to be the New York Metropolitan Walmart. So Natinals are two back on my beloved Marrowins. Marrowins are two and a half back on the Phillies boo. And the Phillies now four and a half back on my beloved Braves who have lost four in a row. Give it a minute. Let's get on to North America's favorite game show. Okay. Get ready Bree. Get ready Bree. This is big. She she might need an explanation explanation. Every year some usually it's the the two sports that are the most important in North America's favorite game show are hockey and baseball. Since hockey is out of season, we have to go to baseball. North America's favorite game show. We take the team with the worst run differential in baseball, and you have to guess it. Number of point number of runs scored versus number of runs given up. In hockey, it's the goal differential, like like soccer. So the question for North America's favorite game show is, what is the run differential for the Colorado Rockies? Now to to give you to give you background, the Rockies have played 81 games at this point. We're pretty much at the halfway point because All Star breaks week after next. So taking that into consideration, I've got Don's because he texted me. What do you believe in the negative? I'll give you that. What is the negative differential for the Colorado Rockies? Well, let we give Don's No, because Don always says his last. No, he says his the week before like Let an it As a wise man once said, let it be. Give me a number. Negative 98. She says negative That's 90 not a bad guess. That's not a bad guess. Not a bad guess. Alex. Whatever Don said plus one. So Don said minus one zero five. So I'll take minus one zero six. You're all over. That good. To give you some comparisons. The Dodgers lead that division. They're at a plus one forty four right now. Milwaukee at a plus one twenty three. The Braves, they've sunk a little bit. They're at a minus or they're plus 92. Well, have had a few losses this week. Yankees are at plus one thirteen. Nobody in the AL Central's in the positive. Really? Not a single team. That's shocking. Casey minus 49. Detroit minus six. Minnesota minus 29. Cleveland minus eight. The Chicago White Sox minus three. Now let's just let's just add those together, shall we? Oh, God. So eleven, thirty one, forty, forty six, eighty six and nine is the combined Central is at a -ninety seven. Oh no, this is just this is one whole division. Because you all went over and it's the closest I've going over. All y'all went over. So for reference, the entire AL Central is at a minus 97. The Colorado Rockies currently, after 81 games, they are thirty two and forty nine. That is a three ninety five win percentage. Negative 17 on the loss. They're 20 back in the division and it's not even the all star break yet. Mm-mm. Eighteen and twenty two on at home. Fourteen and twenty seven other way. There's six and four in their last 10. The Rockies on their own are at a minus 90. Was still close. The Bree was still close. You all went over though. We went over. Dems the rules. Yes. I said closest without going over. It's Price Is Right rules. And thanks for listening to the show, by the way, because if you listen to the show at least once you know. He does have a point. Miss, I edit your stuff. That is a direct quote. That is a direct quote. I don't know half the words you were saying. So let's get into TV talk. Oh, it's like my dating life in high school. We do have we start with an RIP of the great James Burrows. Yeah. Who passed away this past week at the age of 85. I'm just gonna run the list Go for it. Of shows that he directed or was involved with. We start 1974 with the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Mhmm. And I'm just gonna give you the highlights because the list is long and distinguished. Bob Newhart Show, Laverne and Shirley, Lou Grant because Mary Tyler Moore. Yep. Rhoda, the Betty White Show. Taxi. Best of the West. Cheers. Created cheers by the way. Yeah. Night Court. Valerie. The Tortellis because cheers. Dear John. Wings. Frazier. I was gonna say, know there's another one coming from Directed 15 episodes of Friends. News Radio, Caroline in the City, Third Rock from the Sun, Men Behaving Badly, Chicago's sons, Veronica's closet, Darma and Greg, Will and Grace, Stark raving mad. Good morning, Miami. Great show. Very underrated. Two and a half men. The Big Bang Theory. He actually episode the unaired pilot. The pilot the the aired pilot and the unaired pilot. He he directed. Yeah. Okay. I mean, that's up to 2000 and that's just the 2007. Gary Unmarried, which was a great show with Jay Moore. I mean, he did the As My Dad Says pilot. Yep. Titus. Abs, no, that was Oh, no, no, no, was the Yeah, Shatner was the dad. No, no, no. I was thinking of the other thing that was the tie, it was just called Titus. Yeah. That eventually inspired the book of S, my dad says. It became a Well, was a Twitter Twitter. It was a Twitter feed that became the book that So became the the best to his family, friends, and fans. By the way, Don did say that the Japanese fans were singing Country Roads at a certain point in the first half. Stuff we watched this week, this week's episode of This Was SportsCenter was Linda Cohn, who we found out tomorrow is her final episode of SportsCenter. Has done more episodes of SportsCenter than anybody in the history of ever. She sat down with Rich Eisen for about an hour fifteen. Very enjoyable. Awesome. We got one more episode before Kilbourne. And I don't remember who it is. I can't remember. But he did post an old clip of him talking to Charlie Steiner the other day and that brought me joy. Welcome to Wrexham Touching Grass. I like that we start this episode learning the origin because I did not know that it was that episode of Sunny where he's where Max in the prison. Oh, In the ballet. That was Ryan Reynolds said, like, I saw that. I when I see things that affect me, I just like to reach out to people. Yeah. And so I just texted him and said like, this is, this was amazing. Great work. And the next thing I know, own a team with him. You know, it's That interplay through the whole first season about that though was so delightful. His first words and they meet in person. Hello, Princess. Yeah. We got updates on Archie, the kid that's been fighting cancer, which was great. He's doing very well, which we're very excited about. And of course, you know, we'll have tonight's episode. Is tonight the season finale, I think? I do not know. I think tonight's the season finale. I think it is. So looking forward to that. I also found out yesterday, Genny Tartakovsky, the guy responsible for Samurai Jack and Primal. He is working with Adult Swim and Prime Video on a Conan the Barbarian series. You know what? I see that parallel. There's been a lot of people calling for that. If you've ever seen Primal, it very much fits. Speaking of animated series, DC has announced a couple. Chris Fowler is the next episode. Oh, Fowler's this week. Oh, I like him. Yeah. You're getting a DC animated series for crypto. Mhmm. And we're getting a DC animated series for absolute Batman. Yeah. For those of you that don't know Yeah. I need I need the right people in charge of that. It's the creators. The creators are involved. That's what I needed to hear. For those of you that don't know, the absolute universe are alternate takes on the superheroes. For absolute Batman, it basically it's Bruce without money. And it is raw. It is gritty. There's an alternate cover of one of the issues where he has to go to the underworld to fight. And it's him looking at, I think it's Wonder Woman. And the bubble just says, go to hell. Yeah. Or go to hell question mark. Yeah. I've got the first two trades. I haven't read them yet. But I've heard very, very good things and I'm very, very excited of this. Also in the Batman vein, we got the first trailer for Nightfall Part one. Oh, God. Yeah. Let's go. We have a lot of good Batman properties coming along. They also said, I don't know why I don't have this in my notes, but Well, while you're pulling that up. Yes. IMDB does show that it looks like tonight is the series or season finale for Wrexham. Okay. Good. Good. Good. Good. Because they they gave me the there it is. They did reveal some of the the voice casting today. For Nightfall? Yes. Okay. You know, we we gotta hit the big ones. Bruce Boxleitner. Bruce Boxleitner is playing commissioner Gordon. Okay. This is the Tim Drake Robin. Mhmm. So that will be Jack Griffin. Okay. Pablo Schreiber is playing Jean Paul Valley who will become Mhmm. As we know, Anson Mount is playing Bruce Wayne. That's a good From Star Trek Strange New Let's go. I'm here for it. Michael Mondo is playing Bane. Okay. So I'm very excited about this. I gotta get back on my Wait, is that Mike Mondo? Like former wrestler Mike Mondo? Or current NWA champion? Let me look. Oh, clicked the wrong thing. Sorry, that's Michael Mando. That's a different guy. This is That's the guy that's gonna play Scorpion in New Day. Yes, yes, yes. He was on Better Call Saul. Okay. Sorry, I thought you said Mondo. I probably did. Anything you wanna talk about since you saw this week? You know, I did finish my rewatch of Ted Lasso. I am ready for August when we get to the new season. I am still cautiously optimistic, but worrisome. But I will also say we had a funny talk earlier about the Zavas Lathan for the World Cup coverage. They have to bring him back. It's so great. They have to bring him Well, remember, I told you about the Easter egg in the very last scene in the airport, where it's Zava returns to the LA Galaxy doing this Slaton on path. CBS Paramount plus has renewed Dutton Ranch for season two. Not surprising. People are liking that one. Fox and Hulu, they're doing a spin off series from Snowfall. Oh, okay. It's called the Drop a Snowfall Saga. Oh. And this is two of the characters. It takes place in the nineties. Oh, I've I've heard about this. It'll It's gonna kick off September 9 at nine eastern. So Yeah. Sorry. I thought that said Netherlands five for a second. And did you know that they're doing a Far Cry series? I hadn't heard rumblings of it. I did not know it was proceeding. Rob Mack is in it. Okay. And today they added Lizzie Kaplan. So that's how they're going to do the Far Cry series. Now granted, the two series that could go either way are Just Cause and Far Cry. You can either go super comedic and go over the top with it, which as we saw with Anaconda, probably going to be the best route to go. And with the other side you have Borderlands. Well, no. Borderlands tried to be too serious and didn't respect the property. And at least with Anaconda, they respected it. So you'd be funny with Far Cry because one of the viral videos that you had because the clips invade everywhere is the strapping a bunch of rockets to animals, people, projects, buildings, and just launching it into the stratosphere. So we'll see. HBO Max TNT TBS announcing today there's going to be a documentary series this fall called Jay Z and eight. That's gonna be done by Rick Rubin. Interesting. Which those are gonna be some interesting conversations. Yeah. Because if you know who Rick Rubin is, this is, he was one of the founders of Def Jam Records. He's the guy with the beard that goes on for nine days. Honestly, I would say he might've been actually the most important part of getting that founded. He's I was one of the most important parts of making the Beastie Boys who they were. Also, it's continue to be. NBC Peacock has ordered Seth McFarlane's dungeon crawler car Carl to a series. Dungeon crawler Carl. This is a thing. It's got legs. This has taken the world by storm. And I I know a phrase that is apparently a catchphrase from those stories, and it wasn't even by choice, but I'm okay with it. It makes me more interested in it. They've canceled Ponies after one season. Okay. That was the one with the girl from Stranger Things. They've renewed the Americas for season two and Tom Hanks will return as the narrator. Okay. Are we sure it's Tom Hanks or is it gonna be Jim Hanks? You know this story. The headline I saw said Tom Hanks. But you know the story. I do know the story. This headline I saw was at Tom Hanks, I'm going with Tom Hanks. Okay. And season two of The Paper is gonna kick off September 9 and again, all episodes at one time. Okay. I liked it. I really did. I know you did. As long as you remove yourself and understand you're never gonna get The Office again, you Netflix can embrace has announced that there will be a competition series based on Gabby's Dollhouse. Okay. For the kids with the clothes and the hair. Okay. And WWE Unreal season three starts July 21. I cannot believe how little I care about that series. It is as Tom Griswold once said, it is immeasurable how little I care about that series. Well, I thought I would care. That's what I'm getting at. It's I thought I would care and I could like, I have to take F's because I couldn't give any. Prime Video has announced that season three of Cross has added the great Ron Perlman to the Oh, that's a good cast. And Invincible has been renewed with season six. Do you see who's joining the voice cast? Well, I have not, but remember we were talking about when this last season ended, it's like, oh, we're like halfway through the comics. And I was like, I'm sorry, what? One Jack Quaid is joining the cast. That doesn't surprise me. So. That does not surprise me in the least because Jack Quaid can do no wrong. We talked about Tarkovsky earlier. Your TV on DVD and Blu ray this week is season three of Primal. If you're gonna watch that. Tarkovsky. Think I just typed it wrong. Quick movie note or music note. We lost Clive Davis the age Like of 90 him, not like him. You got to respect what he did in the business. He was connected to 8,000,000,000 things. Mean, you've listened to anything in the last fifty years, his voice is in there. Name If is you listened to something recorded. I mean, he was heavily involved in American Idol. I mean, you know, he's represented in the Michael Jackson biopic. He's represented in the Whitney Houston biopic. Like, the guy had the magic touch. And it wasn't like he was just put in there. He was connected. Movie stuff we watched this week, I did not watch any movies this week. Oh my God, I've got a movie I have to watch like tomorrow. Well That a I screener link for. Whoo. It's been a week, kids. Well, I rewatched the 2001, 2002, if you count for domestic release, Brotherhood of the Wolf, in anticipation of guesting on Matinee Heroes. We will be recording soon. As soon as we have a date for release, we will be putting that out on all our social media. One of your personal favorites? You know, it was, I was, I mentioned it earlier before we started recording. I was like, I still love this movie, but holy cow is it a time capsule on different things. And I still maintain two and a half hour movie would have been ninety minutes if they took out the slo mo. Toy Story five debuted at $160,000,000 is the highest for 2026 so far. And it probably will be till at least next month. Yeah. So I'm hearing very good things. I have people in multiple countries telling me I need to see this. I have to remind them I've only seen the first movie. Yeah, I've got the well, you've got four. Well, do you did give me four and they're all available on Disney plus Yeah, so. I'm going come back to this one. Okay. Because I don't know how I feel about it. Keanu Reeves is gonna be in your next LEGO live action CGI hybrid film. Okay. He'll be in the CGI part of it. I feel like he's just a lot of fun. He's the right guy. Well, you think about it, wasn't he already in one of the LEGO movies or two of the LEGO movies? No, he was in Toy Story four. Well, but I, no, no, that was the stuntman, but I believe he was in the LEGO movies as well. I can take a look. I said, you may get to the magic box for that. Nia Long and Ice Cube have said they're in for are they gone yet? No. I'm assuming this is them trying to become empty nesters Or at this helping the grown children find their way, yada yada. We have a Shrek prequel focused on Donkey. Eddie Murphy said it's coming in 2028. Brie, I'll probably want to relay this to My Goddaughter, please, because we are getting a new animated Powerpuff Girls film. It is in the works. That was one of her personal favorites when she was a kid. She is a Megan and my niece is a Megan. And I surprised them when they were little. I picked them both up from daycare and took them to see the Powerpuff Girls movie. It was a day filled with joy that Uncle Rob picked them up and took them to the movies. Nice. Because that's, oh, well, one of them's Uncle Rob, the other one's just Rob. That's like Phil's kids. All three of them call me something different. His oldest calls me Mr. Rob. Uh-huh. The middle calls me Uncle Rob. Youngest calls me Rob. All sisters, same family. Don't get it. But I appreciate it. They remember my name, that's all it matters. It was secret level he did an episode of. Misremembered what it was. Oh yeah, was video series. Yeah, yeah. He was in the pilot. Yeah. Here's the thing. Dan Trachtenberg. Uh-oh. I like the guy. I love what he's doing. He made an announcement this week and I don't know how I feel about it. I will hold my response. He is doing an animated Friday the thirteenth film. Mhmm. That will be PG rated. Mhmm. About a family whose vacation turns into a nightmare after Uncle Freddie you heard that right Uncle Freddie accidentally kills the boogeyman and takes his powers. I'm sorry, what? I want to go back to my timeline now. I want to, this sounds like a fake news story. This absolutely sounds like a fake news I wish it was. But this genuinely sounds like somebody pitching Trachtenberg after the success of all of his predator stuff. And just, and he tried to come up with the worst thing possible. And they still said okay. And this will never see the light of day. With any luck, you're right. I'm willing to bet on it. Movies and places you see movies this week. Couture is the film I have to watch and review tomorrow. Was that the thing you wanted to go back on? No, yeah, the Friday the thirteenth thing was. Okay. This is Angelina Jolie, an American filmmaker faces challenges and self discovery as she arrives in Paris for Fashion Week. Need to watch this Wait, because I believe hold on. Time out. Time out. Now I'm even more confused. It's Friday the thirteenth. No, I've moved on. Well, no, no, no. But what I'm saying is it's Friday the thirteenth, but it's Uncle Freddie. Yeah. That's what said. You heard me right. So it's Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the thirteenth? Probably. Okay. But you understand my disconnect Yeah, You know. We have forty days and forty nights. This has Annie Potts in it, who you know I'm a big fan of. Forty dates and forty nights, right? Yes. Because forty days and forty nights was a Josh Hart It might have been the same thing though. Struggling romantic accepts her aunt's wager. Go on forty dates and forty nights to find true love. If she fails, her aunt will cover her rent and her student debt. Oh, this is going to be one of those. Let me see if there's anybody else. Let's see. Is Jai Rodriguez is in this. This is this sounds like it's going to be Pygmalion. Liz Michell is in this? What do we know? There's seven stories in Hollywood. That's fair. But Amy Potts is in it, so I'm already in. We also have this week, Jackass Best and Last, getting very mixed reviews currently. As they always do. We also have Lucky Strike. This is a war film we talked about a few weeks ago. I saw a trailer of them, kind of intrigued. Okay. And the big release of the week being Supergirl. Yes. Which I am going to try. I don't have to see this next week because I have no time. Yeah. The time is a construct and I don't know how to build. So I'm looking forward. I'm going to go. I'm ignoring critics on this. Well, of course. Critics are the ones that we have said we do not care for. Movie reviewers like us is where we would care. Is it going to be entertaining? That's all I care about. We're just about into extra time in both matches. We got five minutes of extra time in Tunisia, Netherlands, and we're about to find out because we're in the ninetieth minute in Japan, Sweden. Movies on DVD and Blu ray this week, Crime 101. Night Patrol, this is the movie that Centimeters Punk was in. I really still want to see this. It keeps circling. We have our lists where we're like, I want to see these movies. Night Patrol keeps climbing up my list as I watch movies, and then other stuff gets added. It's been in like the top five for like a month. They Will Kill You, which is actually, I believe is on Netflix. HBO Max. It's on Max? Mhmm. But it comes out on Blu ray on Tuesday. I do want to see this. Oh, it looks so good. The original Child's Play is getting a limited edition four ks Steelbook. It's an Amazon exclusive. So if you're gonna get that. Four ks Steelbook for the hunt for Red October. Gonna say it. It is. The 1976 King Kong gets a four ks release. Oh. The Money Pit with Tom Hanks gets a four I actually really liked that version of King Kong. Super eight gets this four k steelbook. Oh. That's a good one. Arrow Video is doing Jackie Chan's greatest hits limited That's gonna include Drunken Master two. Oh. Mr. Nice Guy, Police Story four First Strike, which is called First Strike in America. Yep. Rumble in The Bronx because as we We love know Rumble in The Bronx. There are mountains in The Bronx. Thunderbolt and Who Am I? All in this set. You're getting the Mortal Kombat For the record, Who Am I is wildly underrated. I agree. The Mortal Kombat one and two from the nineties in four k. You've reached Annihilation. Well, I and I'm not I'm not buying it yet. Yeah. Because one more week. That's all I'm saying. This time of year, I don't buy things for myself. Yeah, it's true. And Wake in Fright gets a limited edition from them as well. Indicator is doing Fascination in four ks, a movie called Four Times That Night. Yes, it's what you think it is. Macabre gets it. Macabre. Shout Factory is doing the Deathstalker triple feature. Okay. And Criterion is doing Carlos Sara's Flamenco trilogy and the four ks of It Was Just An Accident, which was from last year. Good film, gets in a little the third act. That's all I'm saying. Yeah. We also want to remind you the CBD House of Healing. Yes. If you're having aches and pains, I mean, I've probably walked 114 miles in the last four days. Maybe you're having sleepless nights. CBD House of Healing is here to help. And it's hot out. Get Woman, Summer Hansen, woman owned business. Which we know Brie is all about. Yep. Their own lab. So it's their stuff. Highest purity and quality standards. Yes. It's not, you know, you're not walking into a Cheech and Chong movie. Because it's about you taking care of yourself. You know, she wants to partner with you. It's summertime. They sell slushies if that's what you're into. Not judging. But if you're having those aches and pains, you're having those sleepless nights, get the, I mean, Reiner speaks very highly of it. He uses one of their salves and it helps him a lot. He talks about it on YDC quite a bit. Go to the Northeast Corner of Northwest Highway and Preston. Is it? No, it's Plano Road. Is it Plano Road? Plano Road. Okay. I usually have the banner that can pull up. So do I. Yeah, and go to cbddallas.com. That is their website. Go check it out. Get the healing you need. The CBD House of Healing as we get into other half of the show. A little thing we like to call head wrestling talk at the cheap podcast. First of all, shout out to Bishop Dyer. Yes. The the former Happy Corbin. I am Baron Corbin. Yeah. He won a gold medal at the Jujitsu World League Florida twelve competition. Another championship. So NWA has now signed a new deal with Tubi. With Tubi. Yes. That's a big deal for them. And they announced today that Natty will compete at NWA seventy eight coming up in August. So get ready for that and shout out to Taneil Dashwood and Mojo Rawley. They welcome their second child. Congrats. For them. Slammiversary is this Sunday. So is everything else. Yeah, this is gonna be a big weekend for wrestling because Saturday we've got Clash of Champions King and Queen of the Ring. Sunday after Night of Champions. Yeah. They should just rename it. Well, no, no. I get that. But for the sake of accuracy. Sunday afternoon is Slammiversary. Sunday evening is the Great American Bash. By the way, if need you to set your DVR, it will not be part I have Hulu, I had to set it as a separate recording from my NXT recordings. If you're because it's on the CDW. It's under its own name. Right. Probably. Yeah. So do a search on the Great American Bash if you look on recording that starts at 07:00 Eastern. Then we've also got I bet the CW app would be very good with that because they actually do have a bit of a just bare bones Yeah. Last four, yeah. Last four episodes for most shows. And then you've also got Forbidden Door on Sunday. Which they did a really good job building this game. So TNA has re signed Tre Miguel. Yep. So good for him. By the way, this weekend, Austin three sixteen turns 30. The promo. Yeah. Yeah. The origin of Austin three '16. Then, of course, shop.com's got specialized merch for it. As if they don't Also shout out, congratulations, Trick Williams and Lash Legend are married. Want Brie's response to this. Did you see the inside of the jacket? I did not. So, Brie, two very attractive, very large humans. You're talking Trick Williams jacket, right? Trick Williams jacket, yes. So, she played in the WNBA and is over six foot. He was on the Philadelphia Eagles. So, there are large people. And they are so adorably cute with each other. All white dress for her because traditional. All white suit for him, but during it, Oh wow. It opens it The entire lining is just all pictures of her. That's kind of dope. I've got it. I've pulled it up on my on my on the Google machine. That is that is dope. See, this is I this is why. These are the people I like. Yes. Yes. They get it a bit. Very nice. From SmackDown, Sammy with the quick count, that was an interesting wrinkle to that story. I wasn't a big fan of that, but I got it. Made I'm interested to see where we're going. Well, I have a sneaky suspicion they might put the belt on him. I'm okay with it. I am too, but if you were gonna put it in one place, that's the place to do it. And what are we doing with Jey Uso? This is driving me to the brink of madness. Treading water. Working face? Working heel? I don't know. Pick a side. It's driving me nuts. As the pirate once said about his You're belt donning this a bit. He's heel. He's a 100% heel. Did you watch Raw? I did. He's with the kids and they're doing the eating It's and the it's it's but the problem is it's doing it in a cheesy manner that feels forced at this point. I think it's pushing for heel straight up. Lyra Snaps runs heel now on Bailey, which we've all seen coming for a while now. Alpha Academy not giving the love to Chad Gable. Which I like that twist. It would be too easy for them to just let them be forgiven. Are they gonna be part of the Vision now? I don't think so. Because you've got Maxine Dupree in the background talking to Austin Theory all the time. I think what it's more gearing towards is that Maxine will leave for the Vision and you'll have Gable having to help American Alpha return to glory, so to speak. And new tag champs. I was surprised and happy I'm about so happy about this with them winning. Netherlands three-one is a final there, so that hits the over. And so is Sweden Japan tied at one. And Netherlands actually will cover on that. Sweden Japan tied at one. So that will hit the under. And Japan was the underdog in that. So let me just give you updates on that because no movement there. So you're 26 of 56 with your favorites, and you are now 30 of 56 on the over. Okay. So Nikita Lyons is your new evolved women's champion. How about that? I don't like what I how I feel about that one. Because in my mind, okay, we have it confirmed Sweden will get through as the three in their group. That's interesting. So, but with Nikita Lyons, it has felt like she has just been failing downward until she finally hit basically their rock bottom. And they're like, put a belt on her. I genuinely think this is going to be the circumstance of like, look, you need to prove that you can work, evolve, and be the champion because if this does not go well, I think she's gone. Okay. And US will get Bosnia Herzegovina next Wednesday. Herzegovina. That too. And we will be here. Yes. We will. Right back here for it. I mean, for the for the match, but we'll be here that day. We'll be here for shows because we got a run on America. You'll because we need them to get to 16. Nico Vance. Yes. With the heel turn. I don't like how weak they're turning Sean Spears though. I I don't like how weak the entire broadcast is. And you've got Booker T. He's your current Reality of Wrestling champion. So that's like huge asterisk. Yeah. Answer me this. Is Gabe Kidd a dog or is he a Death Rider? Because I'm very confused right now. He is a Death Rider with connections to the dogs. Because he came in with them. Yes. But he's also the rabid dog, which is where he fits. And we're super excited. Matt Sydalis back, baby. Well, he was in we had reports of him coming up with some really cool stuff. So, and hear me AEW. Mhmm. Put this Owen belt on my old world, you cowards. Do it. I dare you. Triple dog dare you. I will be shocked. I will be shocked, but I hope not. I am putting this out there to the universe. I want this to happen. I want it to happen too. Because I'm actually looking forward to this tag match. Yeah. With with her and high end versus Mercedes Monet and and the Athena. Yes. Because apparently, I guess we have part two of Global Wars tonight. I There's just too much stuff happening. I love you Ring of Honor, but come on man, you're killing me Smiles. El Phantasmo is now ELP. He has been for a long So well, but they've really been pushing this ELP thing last night on Dynamite. Sir, they have been pushing this ELP thing for about four years. So adjust your roster accordingly. But what I'm saying is, is he has been doing the ELP thing because Phantasmo is too hard to say in certain dialects. I feel like there was an opportunity missed last night. Go on. You had Swerve and Osprey in back to back matches. Mhmm. Swerve uses Osprey's finisher, but not vice versa. If if you do that, you give me questions going into Sunday. But now, there is a 0.01% in my mind because Osprey didn't use his finisher that Osprey wins that match. So you have always said he's gonna win the Owen because this is what gets us to all out. Exactly. But I I feel like if feel It gets us to London. Give us More than You give me a little bit of something if both of them use each other's finishes. But at the same time, you're asking a lot for what is essentially a classically booked situation because you have the heel uses the face's move, but the face honorably just uses his moves. I mean, and it's what we're doing. And is it just open season for the Styles clash now? Anybody can use it at any time. He was using back to back matches last night. That was a statement from AJ Styles who he literally said, anybody that wants to use it has my blessing. So it's it's I'm telling you right now, it is our new super kick. But just like will be for a while. Just like anything else, moderation children. This is not the organization for that. Like, I love that people want to shout out AJ Styles. He's one of the greatest of all time to do it. I am not debating that on any level. However, back to back matches We're getting a lot of angry man robbed tonight. Come on, man. Like, HBO, help a brother out. That's all I'm saying. It's kind of like when Petey Williams had to come out and apologize that everybody's using the destroyer. Yeah, I didn't mean it as a transition. Yeah. But that's literally what we have. That's literally what I was just saying. It's the mixed move that people are just all gonna do. And we have part two of the Leonard Anderhausen curse lifting because LA is now supporting Leo Rush in this Yep. Although he's still using the name Blackheart, let's change that because Tomas Ocampo would like a word. He's your new TV champ in Ring of Honor. Yep. There's something to this. It's an interesting bit. It's old school. It's easy to understand the horror aspects. It's funny when it needs to be funny. I'm talking the LA piece of it. Oh. I'm I'm Now I will say if he decides he's gonna uncurse the Cowboys, that doesn't count. No. That Because That's selfish. Well, but because Yeah. Like Danhausen, he had no connection to the Knicks. He never said Well, he had human money. But still, but but there was no previous connection to the Correct. By the way, human money is one of funniest things on the planet to me. So Lennar, LA has to find another team to uncurse. He cannot uncurse the Cowboys because that that it negates the thing. I feel like if he tries and we may he may have already done this. He may have already tried on his own and nullified his own power. That's very true. Yeah. That's very true. He might have undone it. We're going to have to ask him who he's uncursed for this weekend. Yeah, maybe. See if he goes three for three. American Outlaws? The American Outlaws band. Yeah. I didn't know we had a band. I don't know, but I I Oh, this will be the if they win tonight, it's the first time they've won all three group matches ever. And it's only the third time they've gotten out of the group round. I I was I was holding on to that one hoping that it was gonna come up. It's all it's almost time kids. Yeah, it is. We are less than fifty five minutes away from kickoff. I feel like you have to Sammy Hagar that one. I can't. We can't do it? Okay. Much less drive 55. No, I can't do that. But I This has been so much fun. Yeah. I This this whole thing, whether it's watching the matches, having the opportunity to do the show here at the media center, at the Host City Media Center in Downtown Dallas. Kid with The US Was a US title? The US The US title is mine. Making a appearance. It was The turkey is done. This is so bad. But you know, this is what we do kids. And this, I mean, the the energy of this whole thing has been nothing short of fantastic. It's all positive and I love that. I'm happy. About it on Monday and we're gonna keep talking about it because positive things keep happening. I mean, we were talking about it in the pre show about Scotland possibly going from being a high rated team to not even making it to the next round, but the Tartan Army and their experience leading to massive donations for Glasgow's Children's Hospital. It's it is the positivity that everybody needs. It's just and just the energy overall. Yes. Like this this week alone has been nothing short of fantastic for me personally. Absolutely. The opportunities that we've had because we're creeping up on two years with Sunset Lounge, which is insane to think of. Yeah. We're creeping up on season seventeen of this show. Yeah. Which is insane. Which means this show is almost to the point that we have been on for an entire generation of humans. Or the show can almost legally vote. Exactly. A couple of weeks, this show could go to an R rated movie on its own. It could already drive. My back hurts listening to this. I mean, I am constantly amazed. And I said this to Becca and Reiner yesterday. I said, if there is ever a day that I am not thankful for Sunset Lounge and for Stolen Water Media, hold me accountable. And we're gonna go deeper into this in a couple of weeks when we get to the season finale. Because the week after that is when we start doing our previews for NFL. Good mercy. But, I mean, you think about the next three weeks in this country. Yeah. You think about the fact that there are five days between the Major League Baseball All Star Game and the finals of the World Cup. And they're both in the same region because the finals of the World Cup are at New York New Jersey Stadium All Star Games in Philly. And the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of this country. And for the record Burkah. There is something that I am internally begging for, but I don't know whether to speak it into the universe. Do it. What is the most ridiculous event every July 4 week? Or every July 4? Besides what happens two days before it? I mean on the pier. I don't know what you're talking about. Coney Island. Oh, the contest. I need all of the crazy fans that people have been tracking to have their own competition so they can experience Nathan's hot dog eating contest on the Oh, live absolutely. I'm here for it. Want all of the fans that have made a name for themselves. I want Bob Travels doing the hot dog eating contest. I want the bagpiper to eat hot dogs. I want everybody to eat this disgusting, Can I boring, tell you I enjoy do? Enjoy America. Hot dogs are not disgusting. Hot dogs are wonderful. I love them. I was made hip to a very, check this out, made hip to a very interesting way to make hot dogs this last couple of weeks. You take the hot dog, you put it in a bun, you wrap it in a paper towel, you flip it on its face, thirty seconds, warm bun, hot dog's done. Mind blown. Put in a cup of water with it. You get a steamed bun. But it's still good. No, I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying that you can get a steamed bun out of it too. Murica. Yeah. And by the way, speaking of Murica, it is now official. First of all, we got to talk about this weekend. Brie, have you ever seen The Room? Oh, God. You know what The Room is? I can't see her. I will be there handling the Q and A with Tommy. And then next Saturday I I wanna clarify before we get too far away. He genuinely means the word experience the You don't watch the room. You experience It's it's like Rocky Horror Picture Show kind of a thing. No. It's not it's wonderful. I'll tell you more. I'll tell you more off air. I'll tell you more off air. And then next Saturday, my church, Round Penn Cowboy Church in Terrell, Texas, having a barbecue cook off. We're competing in pork butt. We're competing in ribs. We're competing in brisket. We're competing in smoked queso. I will be DJing that day. So, if you're in the Terrell area, you want to come out and get some good food and hang out with some good people. And it is now official October 17, Rampen Cowboy Church Grace Descending will be giving you a night of rock and roll worship. Nice. The boys are aware. And we've got some new members. Nice. We're rehearsing this Sunday and then we have to take a week off because Kenny's out of town for his birthday. But I am very, very, very excited about some things that are coming up.
