They may or may not be getting World Series tickets because of the demand, because who outside of the city of Milwaukee would ever... Because the Brewers have never been. The race have been, but never won.

Yeah. So now you've got these people that bought what they called these lifetime tickets Oh, boy. That may or may not be able to get the the tickets you really, really want.

Because these are two what was referred to as smaller market teams that Fox should be the sky is falling because the ratings are gonna be terrible. I disagree. No.

I just Believe that the ratings for this world series are going to be great because it ain't the dodgers and it ain't the yankees. These are two two scrappy little teams, one of whom didn't even get to play in their own ballpark a couple of years ago because they had to redo the whole roof. I think the ratings for this world series will be better than people think.

You're gonna have a team that's gonna win it for the first time. Yep. Am I am I wrong?

Don't really wanna talk much NCAA football this week just because not much to talk about outside of the fact that Florida beats Texas. Texas now drops two in a row to two other SEC teams, Oklahoma and Florida. Now dropping them ranked number 19, and there may be a change at the quarterback position.

Arch Manning may be, hanging out with some pine there a little bit. I'll be the first to tell you Florida winning was not on my bingo card on any level. I got the notification on my phone because I was booked doing some things around town, and I was like, I'm sorry.

Did I read that correctly? Alright. Go Gators.

Does that mean I think... I mean, right now, I'm still keeping my expectations low because I just wanna get bowl eligible at this point. I'm not worried about winning the division, winning the SEC.

I'm not even worried about making the playoffs. Just stay competitive, get bowl eligible, which they can still do. I will still be hopeful for the world's largest cocktail party here in a couple weeks.

I don't like that they're moving it out of Jacksonville. That stresses me out a little. I like I like it being at the halfway point.

You don't take OU Texas out of the Cotton Bowl. You don't take the world's largest cocktail party out of Jacksonville. You just don't.

NFL this week... No. This past week, last Thursday night, seahawks hosting the broncos and get waxed.

This was crazy. In this game, Denver was getting two and a half and wins the game outright. This was a nutso game.

I... This... I think this is just one of those games.

Like, three points doesn't tell the story of this game. This... The broncos are for real.

I'm not saying I... I'm regretting not putting them all the way, but this is a team that even though they struggled a little bit, they still were able to hold on to that win over the champs. You're the champs till somebody tells you otherwise, the Broncos told them otherwise.

Texans over the Jags in a game that none of us had because the Jaguars were there for two weeks straight. So what happens now? We figured they were there.

They were settled. They were gonna win this game handily. Sorry.

Houston beats them by a field goal? Are you kidding me? I'm not I'm not believing in in the Texans yet.

Two and four. Uh-uh. That dog don't hunt.

Bears over the falcons Sunday morning, Caleb Williams, 305 yards and a touchdown. I mean, it's the falcons. You better win this game.

The bears are at a strange crossroads. They may be four and two, but don't let that fool you. This is a team that's going to struggle, especially in that division.

They were getting a point. They were giving a point and a half, and they win by eight. Browns over the Ravens by a field goal.

This is a game that, you know, right now, Ravens are in flux. We don't know what's going on. Lamar Jackson, they keep talking about him.

If he needs the rest, let the dude rest. He's not a spring chicken. He's going...

If you're gonna continue to make him be the man, you've gotta let him rest. Injuries pile up. Father time is undefeated.

Let that man rest if he needs to. Cleveland was giving three, but they win by three. Titans over the Colts because Titans winning again.

I gotta... I I'm not saying I gotta stop not believing in Tennessee, but I'm definitely gonna have my eyes open because I really thought the colts could pull this off. They didn't.

Patriots over the jets, I think all three of us had that one. Patriots win by seven. They were...

And they were getting, the jets were getting seven and a half. So if you if you took the points, the hook the hook... Hey.

What did Blues Traveler say? The hook's gonna bring you back, baby. And it did.

Saints over the Giants did not have this. New Orleans was giving a point and a half, and they cover winning by seven. JJ McCarthy, I guess, is the guy now.

We'll have to see. The Giants, they're a team... There's there's a whole lot of prettiest girl at the ugly party happening in the NFL this year.

I can't tell you why. Because when we did our previews, the only division that I was willing to say this about is the division I follow, and that's the NFC South. Ziggy and I had this debate a couple of weeks ago on three wide, which I will be back on in a couple of weeks.

Looking forward to hanging out with Ziggy and Grego again, come November 3, but I'm still not sold on New Orleans. I'm just not. This is going...

Whoever wins this division and it... That beeping sound may be Tampa Bay backing into winning this division. I don't know, but I still don't buy the saints.

Panthers over the eagles by eleven. We wanna send our best to Jalen Hertz. There's so there's so many things.

There's so many moving parts to this particular situation. He's found to have moving blood clots in one of his legs. Blood clots are not something you mess around with.

My mom has dealt with these in recent years. They find out he gets on the plane, which tech... The the debate is should they have flown him?

Should they have not flown him? The the NFL not taking any action against the eagles for that. Now finding out that there are blood clots in his lungs, which is really not good.

We want him to be healthy. We want this to work out for Jalen Hertz. Great player.

I don't care what happens. Keep him out for the season. Even if he's ready to go at the end of the season, let the man get to a 100% because blood clots are not something you mess around with.

These things are scary. So we wanna send our best to Jalen Hurts. Don Steelers, and I think he's back now.

And you came back just in time to talk Steelers bucks in overtime. Pittsburgh giving two and a half, but they don't need it because they win by seven. This game was a bit of a sweat for me because I was like, how how are we hanging in here?

I don't know. I just don't know what to think of my Steelers, but that's an every year occurrence thing. Buccaneers now one in five.

Still a lot of time in this season for them to back their way into the playoffs. Aaron Rogers, they they got the rally. This team shouldn't have to rally, Don.

No. But a win's a win. You take the win.

You keep it moving. Yeah. Because there is no, like, polls in anything in the NFL.

It's all about wins, losses, and everything. So Cardinals beat the Rams by a safety in a game where Arizona was getting 12 and a half. I think all of us had this going the other way.

But, again, the rams are not who everybody said they were. I was not gonna buy into the rope a dope. I continue to not buy into the rope a dope with the rams.

They've got depth, but it's not serving them. Bills over the Raiders by a touchdown. Las Vegas was getting five and a half.

The autumn wind is a Raider. They're hanging in there, but I think as the season goes on, it's going to wear on this Las Vegas Team. I I mean, I don't know what else you say.

Don, you got anything to say on that? I just... This has been...

And I... If I could go back real fast because I... You already did college talk.

This is just a year of when you have... The last two weeks when so many top tier teams lose. You have Georgia lose, Alabama lose, and even Notre Dame lose all in one week.

And now Miami is ranked number one. But, hey, they're undefeated. You play And any undefeated team is in the top 12 right now, which they should be because with the new playoff system.

This is just one of those years. I think most of these teams are saying, I don't care what they think. We're gonna try to win this thing, and we might...

Let's try upset. And I think it's looking at a lot of these teams are going, oh, no. And maybe because of this 12 team playoff system, some teams are gonna think, well, you know, we might lose one, but we're still gonna make the playoffs.

Who cares? You know? And and the same with the NFL.

You know, we're gonna beat this team. Well, as long as we get the record, we'll make the playoffs. Who cares?

I don't know. And no love for what could be one of the biggest upsets of the weekend, Don? What's that?

My Florida Gators going into Daryl Royal Memorial Stadium beating Texas? Uh-huh. Come on, man.

I mean It's not a bigger upset than one of those other two, but it's still a pretty big upset because even I was like, this is not gonna be fun. Exactly. But And I and I do respect the University of Texas banning that guy that was making obscene gestures and saying things to the Florida players.

Oh, yeah. Sure. Yeah.

Totally. Yeah. Cowboys go to Green Bay and they get whooped, and I believe I had that.

So did I. I did call it. This team is terrible.

Since this is the bears for the home in Soldier Field, all that, I just think if this was in New England and was still three points or whatever vice versa, I'd say New England. I just... I'm picking the team that's at home on this one, so I'm taking the bears.

I think it's something of an advantage. We have another European game this week, 08:30 central on Sunday morning. Your steelers going to Stade De France.

Well, I'm thinking Montreal or metropolitan division. Oh, where did they... Where are their roots?

They're in France, Don. I forgot. Okay.

Pittsburgh giving three and a half. It ain't enough. I think your steelers win big on this because I can't buy the Saints even though they've got, like, a French thing going on.

I'm taking the Steelers minus three and a half. What you got, Don? If you look at the history, whenever the Steelers have played in Europe, they've done pretty good.

They've done well, Don. Superman does good. A team does good.

Has been very many, but they've played a few. So I think since this is a... Okay.

So I... Since this is in Europe, I'm gonna give the the... To the Steelers on this one because there is a quote.

No. If anybody has a home field advantage, it's Pittsburgh because they have traveled a lot and done good. I've done well.

As we get into the early set or the the less early set, on Sunday, 40 go to Mercedes Benz Stadium to play the falcon. San Francisco's giving two and a half. It ain't enough.

This team is rolling, and they're still one of the two teams I believe in in this league. They haven't let me down. Jimmy Niners minus two and a half, Don.

It's only two and a half. I know it's at home. It's in Atlanta.

But when you got a team that's undefeated taking on a team that's what? Four and, two and four, it's gonna be a spanking of... I'm surprised the line is that low.

I'm taking 49ers. Your nap, if you need a nap at 01:00 eastern, you might wanna tune in on your local CBS affiliate from Nissan Stadium as the titans hosting the Cleveland browns. By the way, Cleveland leading that division.

Cleveland giving a point and a half also ain't enough. The Browns, I'm... I am not sold on them, but they will beat the Titans.

This will not be enjoyable at all unless you're a fan of one of these two teams. And, really, you gotta be a fan of one of these teams because the other one's not gonna enjoy themselves. Or one and five.

What are you gonna do? No. This one, the browns are doing surprisingly well considering, especially they're winning the division six games in.

It's hard to believe, but, hey, maybe they're starting turn around. I agree with you. It's not it's not enough.

Browns are gonna win this easy. Colts go to US Bank Stadium to play the Vikings. Vikings also undefeated giving six and a half to Indianapolis.

You gotta go chalk here. You have to. The colts are in shambles.

Just fired their GM. Their coach may not make it to Thanksgiving. Give me the Vikings minus six and a half all day long.

This one will not be pretty either. I'm... Yeah.

Especially being at home too. And I know it's a... They're different conferences, and they don't play that often.

I just think that, you know what, Vikings will have their number on this one. MetLife Stadium. Jets giving the Dolphins four and a half in an AFC East battle.

I gotta ride with my boys on this. Give me the dolphins plus four and a half because if they lose by a field goal, I still win. That's my only rationale here.

I hate to say it, but it's gonna be kinda... I think they're in that mindset of the Cowboys right now, and I think it's not... I know it's a division game.

They know each other all well, but I just think the Jets have the division, especially at home. If it was in Miami, different story. I'm gonna take the Jets on this one.

In an NFC South battle at Bank Of America Stadium, Panthers hosting the Buccaneers. If I had told you a month ago or two months ago, which of these teams is gonna be one and five and which of them is gonna be three and two, I don't think anybody would have gotten it right. Carolina giving three, making it a pick them.

You know what? I'm just gonna ride with my boys just on general principle. Give me give me fucking your...

My plus three. It's a division that close, but they're at home. Even though it doesn't mean much because they're not traveling that far, they're different time zones or anything.

I just think with the better record, and I feel the sorrows for them, I'm gonna take the Panthers on this one. Baker Mayfield, please be careful. Plus we've got, you know, Iqbukus out with a concussion, so please be careful.

Bengals go to the Ravens. Baltimore giving a point and a half. Lamar Jackson has returned to practice, but I don't know that I'm convinced it's going to be enough.

Give me the Pengals plus one and a half, but I don't feel great about it. It's a division game. It's gonna be close.

And these things are... Both these teams are trying to get out of the cellar, and they're both having issues. And at a normal year, and this is not a normal year, in a normal year, you might have the Ravens being five and one or the Bengals being four and two or whatever, and they're not clicking.

But since it's... They're at home on this one, I give... I take the Ravens.

Giants, Texans wraps up the early set. The giant... Houston is giving them 10 and a half.

That alone give me the Giants plus 10 and a half. I don't even need to say anything else. You're over unders 42 and a half, and you're telling me the Texans are gonna win this by almost two touchdowns?

Not so fast, my friend. Give me a Giants plus 10 and a half. Do you know what?

This is what I'm gonna be, I'd call my upset of the week looking at it because of the point spread that I think that actually that the Giants are gonna win this outright and try to keep up in the division. So even though they're 10 under, I still think that, you know what, they're gonna pull this one out. It's my upset of the week.

Broncos hot off that win last week. Go to Arizona. Also hot off a win at State Farm Stadium.

Denver's giving them four and a half. It's midnight, Cinderella. There's no way the cardinals win this.

The broncos are starting to come alive. I'm not saying I'm a believer, but they'll do enough to beat the broncos by at least five point... Or beat beat the cardinals by at least five points.

So you said the line is five then Four and a half. Four and a half. Okay.

Now I'm I'm still gonna take the donkeys on this. Think they're on kind of a roll on this one. I wouldn't be surprised if they, you know, if Arizona does something that would upset this one.

There's no way I'd put this as my upset of the week. And also them being at home in Denver, you know, I've... No.

I'm taking the donkeys. Packers, lions. This could be to me the most...

One of the two most intriguing games of the week. At Ford Field, Detroit giving three, again, pretty much making it a pick them. The packers are starting to gain momentum.

The lions at three and two, I'm still not willing to buy, but, man, that team knows how to take a gamble, and I do enjoy the fine work of MCDC. But I'm still not enough to say that the packers... I think the packers win this game, so give me them plus three.

You know, they both have a couple losses, but they're still gonna be... They're still good teams. And I wouldn't be surprised if both teams make the playoffs in the end, and this is a division game.

So even though they're not, you know, both undefeated or, you know, one loss each or something like that, I still think it's gonna be a bar burner of the game, especially division. I think since they're at home on this one, I'm gonna take the lines. Wrapping up the late set, Rams go to Allegiant Stadium.

The chargers are on the buy, so somebody's got a charger. I think that will be the other team in Los Angeles. Los Angeles giving the Raiders three and a half.

I think the Raiders can can absolutely win this game. There... Yeah.

The Rams, l a r l v. Rams giving the Raiders three and a half. Give me the Raiders with that three and a half.

Especially at home and off the buy, like you're saying all that. And I think the Raiders are still starting to click and think maybe we have something this year. Nobody's off the buy, Don.

I said the Chargers on the buy. So somebody something a charger. I meant to say that, but no.

I still think that the Raiders are still trying to think, hey. We can make the playoffs and make something out this year. So I think they win this one, especially with that little thing on the line.

Sunday night football is your other big intriguing game of the week. Seahawks hosting the Chiefs. Offensive tackle Josh Simmons for the Chiefs heading to the IR for at least four games with back problems.

I threw my back out this weekend. I get it. Seattle's giving two and a half, which is almost to pick them.

It's the last dance. Give me the Chiefs. I think this is where the Chiefs get their first loss.

I... Since it's at home for the seahawks. I think seahawks win this thing straight up.

And Monday night football in a game that should be flexed to not on television, Cowboys go to the link. And again, we send our best out to Jalen Hurts. I...

Oh, my heart hurts for that. Both teams are two and four. Dallas giving the eagles four and a half.

The eagles are struggling right now. Dallas, I would take the eagles plus four and a half because I think the game's gonna be that close, but I do believe that the eagles will win it. Don.

I... Since it's at home too, same thing on this division game, so a lot of division games this year. And I think the Cowboys are just weak.

Yeah. I mean, this week. I think there's...

They're just gonna keep on that rut, and I think they're just... Let's just, you know, put another notch into it. I gotta take the eagles to win this at home.

Couple of other news in the NFL. Don, did you remember that we have a game on Thanksgiving eve this week? No.

So we have a game on Thanksgiving eve. Your halftime show will be what I call one of the greatest rock bands of my generation in The U Two. Oh, wow.

Who, by the way, Don, are also celebrating fifty years as a band. Can you believe that? Well, yeah.

Because I remember feedback in 1976. I remember that, you know, when they were a young Bono when I was a little kid and watching New Year's Day on MTV when it came out and all that and Sunday bloody Sunday from Red Rocks. But, yeah, fifty years.

They were the feedback for a year, and then they were the hype for a year, and then U two after that. That's your halftime show. Speaking of halftime shows, rumors are your superb Owl halftime show being the Jay Z.

And I can see that. That's on the board to pick that. He's nominated himself.

Okay. But then I've heard this, Don, and I and I wanna... I don't know how I feel about it.

The NBA has done it. The NHL has done it. The, and the NFL has done it.

Where they're taking certain games and they're doing these graphic overlays, like we had the Toy Story game. We had Oh, yep. The Simpsons.

Game, the Inside Out game, the Simpsons game. The rumor is they're going to do it this year for the Superb Owl K. With a Star Wars overlay.

I don't know how I feel about this. I don't mind... Like, the Superb Owl needs to be the Superb Owl.

Leave it be. It's great on its own. I am a Star Wars geek.

Not afraid to say it. I don't know that I need these worlds to to collide, especially on the day of the superb owl. I don't know how I feel about it.

So, Don, you got anything for stuff we watched this week for TV? Yeah. I I got two.

First off, they... We started on that new series on MGM on TV, the Treasure Island based off the novel. Oh, okay.

Good production into it. Not to be confused with being adapted from article in Time Magazine? No.

The infamous novel of Treasure Island. There... It's a lot of into it, a lot of big production.

And of course the fantastic Food Ford loves that time period kind of stuff. So it's not a bad show. It has some good possibilities.

Roseman Pike, it... The potential could have been a lot better. Didn't hate it.

Good film. And then the other one was a big hit off Netflix, The Animals with the Ben Affleck. My wife saw this.

She enjoyed it. She said the ending went a completely different way than she expected. Yes, did.

All I say is I recommend it. Would recommend it. So I saw Supergirl this past weekend.

Finally watched it. It's okay. It's not as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be.

It's definitely a different take on the character, but I kinda like it. I thought we're really We did very hard. We haven't just got to it yet.

It's one of the last few things we haven't got to. So It's fun. Fun.

Okay. You know? Got news earlier today that made me sad.

Uh-oh. These last three and a half, four and a half years have been an amazing experience for me. Getting the opportunity to step from behind the scenes to on stage for for Comic Cons to host q and a.

Today, we lost somebody that I had the opportunity and the honor to interview a couple of years ago. At the age of 93, we lost Tom Skerritt. Yeah.

Most of you know him as Viper from Top Gun. Some of you might remember he was in the the movie version of MASH. He was also on Picket Fences.

One of the most amazing moments I've ever had doing a q and a was immediately following that. And I've I've probably told this before on the show, but his q and a was so much fun. I introduced him as a legend, and he sits down and he says, you call me a legend.

I'm gonna go home and mow the lawn. You know? But afterwards, Rachel was taking our picture.

And as I stood there next to him, he just slowly but surely leaned his head over until his head was on my shoulder. And Rachel got the perfect shot of just the look of pure glee on my face with Tom Skerritt's head on my shoulder. The man was an absolute joy.

He will be sorely, sorely missed. I'm happy that I got the opportunity to sit down with him, and I I think I've got the footage around here somewhere. If I can find it, I will post it probably for our show Thanksgiving week, because he's just...

He was a beautiful soul. He will be sorely missed, and our deepest go out to his family and friends and our in fans because we are that too. If I can.

Please. I met him once at the Fright Fest or whatever at DFW Airport in Frightmare. Texas Frightmare Weekend?

And he actually gave me a few minutes to talk to him and stuff like that. He thought the thing was cool and all that. He said he only seen a couple of those.

Right? Well, here's the thing. I would have loved...

Put it this way. I wish if I could have anybody on there would be John Hurt to sign it. I never got him.

Of course, you know, he passed away. But he would be, like, right up there. If I never got him to sign the thing, I'd be like, man, I wish I could've gotten to sign it just like with John Hurt.

But that's how much I thought about him as an actor. But he... All I'll say is when I did meet him, he still gave me a few minutes.

He did have a line, but still, you know, he gave that time, which was really cool. He was very, very nice. Personalized did everything.

So, I mean, and it's kind of weird to say, you know, the character of Dallas, in Dallas, but, you know, it was so interesting. I heard about the guy, he was a class act. So in his resume, I mean, he's kind of like that six degrees of Kevin Bacon from the eighties when you think about it, you know?

He was a great man. Yeah. We've got a couple of anniversaries coming up, Don, for theater returns.

Oh. January 29, returning to theaters in IMAX and 70 millimeter for its twentieth anniversary is the Prestige. Okay.

That one I'd be interested in. Christian Bale, really good film. Don't spoil it if you haven't seen it.

And, the the movie, The Holiday with Cameron Diaz, that's also getting its twentieth anniversary release going to turn in theaters on December 10. Is that old? Yeah.

We're starting to get a lot of these newer movies that are having these huge anniversaries. It's crazy. Yeah.

Movie new releases in places you see movie new releases this week. If such things you enjoy, I do not. We have the return of Ali G, the Sasha Baron Cohen, Baron Cohen character.

And Ali G, who is I? I'm Gabe. I love I love his characters.

And I hope... I think it's gonna be on prime tomorrow. If it is, I'm watching.

Hearing very good things about this. Also this week, we have a horror movie with Jeffrey Decker called Human, And, it follows Danny Ferris, alone and exhausted, who seeks a moment of digital distraction before bed, but instead gets thrust into a blood drenched supernatural nightmare filmed with horrors and heartbreak. So, you know, it's a romantic comedy.

Of course. We also have Clara and the Sun this week, with Jenna Ortega. This is a, it's a...

It's an android movie, I believe. But let's just get pulling up here for you. A robot girl designed to prevent loneliness tries to save a heartbroken family of humans.

Movies on DVD and Blu ray this week. We have a documentary called scary stories, which is about the history of the scary stories to tell in the dark series from the nineties. I've seen the trailer for this.

It looks pretty good. Upgrades this week. Duplicity gets a four k upgrade.

The movie from the eighties rad, if you're into BMX biking, gets a four k. Surf Nazis must die gets a four k, and sweet 16, which is a horror film, gets a four k. Arrow Video has their second volume called Into the Video Store.

This is a lot of, like, cheesy action b movies. I think the first the first edition was more horror movies. This is more action movies.

The limited edition four k upgrade for the frighteners, the Michael J Fox film, and, the Hellraiser Tetralogy in four k for all your pinhead needs. Hammer has the horror of Dracula, limited collector's edition. This is the one from the sixties.

It's a huge box set. Criterion Collection does a four k for Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein that came out last year. And from the doc files this week, Don Uh-oh.

Secondly, the the way that would be seen is, well, you're coming to London, just come the rest of the way, and that might cause abrasion.

If you're going to not do it overseas, you just do it domestically. Take the rain check. Wait for things to stabilize a little bit better, and then you do it.
